Russia’s Putin says S-300 missiles not yet sent to Syria

“This is what we explained bluntly to the Russians, and we asked them to use take advantage of the situation and provide us with advanced weapons,” he said.

Asked if he was referring to S-300 anti-aircraft missiles, which Damascus has long sought from Russia, Muallem replied: “Yes, and other advanced weapons.”

“We will get them and other advanced weapons in a reasonable period,” he said.

“The main problem is on the road to a speedy solution, meaning the Kremlin’s political approval. It is just around the corner,” he added.

Last September, Russian President Vladimir Putin said delivery of the weapons had been suspended “for the moment” without saying why, AFP reported.

Syria has reportedly paid a deposit of several hundred million dollars for between three to six missile system units.

The entire deal is reportedly valued at around $1 billion.

    France Stinks… Literally
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 11/07/2014 – 09:40

Having promised that he would not run again if unemployment rates remain high, French President Francois Hollande faces not just record low approval ratings but feces-flinging-farmers. In a show of protest against expressing their anger at collapsing prices (due in part to sanctions against Russia), increased environmental regulations, cheap imports, and high costs, thousands took to the streets, dumping pumpkins, potatoes, and carrots, burning cars, flinging apples, and spraying shit all over a government building in Toulouse.

This out of character inexcusable tardiness on this specific geopol theme/task, especially considering how key syria is for a gazprom pipeline vs the West’s ramming one through, led me to believe last year(when the S-300s were supposedly cancelled) that putin is waiting still on something some event so huge that it will obviate any action here.

one can see that also in the Donbass/uke drawn out action, where only the minimum is done, again like he’s just buying time waiting for something 100 times bigger to happen on its own.

Maybe he was waiting on the recent US election results ! LOL.

I wouldn’t put it past the imbecilic mainstream media here in Sweden trying to suggest that the Russians are searching for the wreckage of the DC3 plane shot down by Soviet combat fighter Grigori Ossinsky in June 1952.

Neither would I put it past Die dummen Schweden to really believe it in spite of the plane’s recovery in 2011 by a Swedish expedition.

All the same, Ossinsky was damned right in dealing with these Swedes back in 1952, spying as they were for the Anglo-Zionists — on pure vocation, at that.

Interesting summary of US vs Russia from a Russian intel cheif:

Top Spymaster Explains How Russian Intelligence Sees the US

    http://russia-insider.com/en/export/859

“In this interview Patrushev gives insight into what Russia’s intelligence agencies are telling the Kremlin. Thus we learn that Russian intelligence:

    1. Did not expect Yanukovych to fall because of the Maidan protests;

    2. Did however warn the Kremlin long ago that a pro-Western coup in Ukraine was only a question of time because of massive US subversion in the country.

We also get an idea of how Russian intelligence sees the world. “

Nope, Anonymous, I don’t think Syria is a potential site for a Gazprom pipeline. There IS a potential Iraq-Iran-Syria pipeline, which is one of the causes of the war against Syria, but the pipeline is competitive to Russian pipelines.

I would like some commentary on how Russia is keeping Syria at arms length.

Surely by now, there is absolutely nothing Putin can do to get sanctions lifted.

Even if the rest of the world isn’t expecting Putin to take on the west for a multi polar alternative, Russia’s interests in Tartus should make it a strategic imperative for Assad to remain in power.

These are the sorts of non-actions that make me think that there is no BRICS. There is no Eurasian Sovereignty. Russia doesn’t want to give them further reason? That just encourages the Anglo Zionists that their strategy is winning.

Syria is on its own obviously. What a difference a year makes.

военкор means “war correspondent” (it’s just the Russian word for “war” combined with an abbreviation of “korrespondent”). The “a” you included at the end is a suffix. It’s hard to tell without original context, but it probably was something like “from the war correspondent” or “to the war correspondent”. That’s what that suffix does in Russian. I forget the proper grammatical terminology for that sort of thing.

This happen as the were outside next to the Donetsk school number 63, located in the Kuibyshev region, the boys played football. Four of the children suffered severe shrapnel wounds and two of them were killed by shelling og the Ukrainian army. The names of the dead boys – Daniel …Kuznetsov and Andrei Eliseev. MOSCOW, November 7 (RIA Novosti) – NATO may carry out large-scale maneuvers in Eastern Europe and the Baltics and is working on creating a new rapid response force, the commander of the Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum said Friday.

“We have so far carried out large-scale maneuvers of 25,000-40,000 forces only in Western NATO countries. I can well imagine that we can carry out [maneuvers] also in Eastern Europe and the Baltic States in the future,” Gen. Hans-Lothar Domrose was quoted as saying by Die Welt.

The German general also noted that NATO is currently working on creating a “rapid response force of 5,000 to 7,000 troops, which would be ready to reach the operational area in two to five days.”

“These highly mobile troops, however, must have a huge air fleet so they can be on site quickly,” Domrose said, noting that provision of transport is one of the “greatest challenges NATO countries are facing today.”

Relations between Russia and NATO have been strained since the alliance accused Russia of meddling in Ukraine’s internal conflict, a claim Moscow has denied. After Crimea’s reunification with Russia, NATO boosted its military presence in Poland and in the former Soviet Baltic states of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

Moscow has repeatedly expressed concern over NATO’s increased military presence in Russia’s neighboring states. In late September, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said NATO expansion in Eastern Europe was a “mistake” and a “provocation” that undermines European security.is Ria Novosti.

You must not generalize so. There are many here among us who know exactly what our so-called leaders are, what is their agenda and wholeheartedly disagree with the dangerous path they are on. By generalizing you reveal much about yourself. Do you exist in a world without mirrors? Many citizens in other nations have fully partaken of the us/nato kool-aid. It is apparent from simple observation that many of your own seem content with being part of the neo-liberal, consumptive , hedonistic life style you despise. In other words open your eyes and refrain from being the pot calling the kettle black.

PayPal to support cash payments in Russia

The idea behind Paypal’s new cash payment offering seems heavily borrowed from PayNearMe, a Sunnyvale-based company which has spent the last four years building up a similar network of 17,000 US retail locations (mostly Family Dollar and 7-Eleven stores) to accept cash for things like rent, municipal government payments, lending, and transportation payments.

Russia has its own “Cash-based electronic payments” market, which the Moscow Times notes accounted for $18.6 billion (850 billion rubles) in payments volume in 2013 according to a J’son & Partners Consulting report. But this network of non-banking payment terminals can be difficult to tap into for international merchants, such as those selling on eBay or the millions of other websites that PayPal powers. Under the newly proposed retailer-based system, these merchants will more easily be able to serve cash-based Russian consumers.

US Plans to Create More Guantanamos in Ukraine

    Published 7 November 2014
    We Recommend
The US and Ukrainian government have been negotiating the use of illegal detention and torture centers in Ukraine, for both Islamic State terrorists and Ukrainian separatists.

The U.S. government is planning to create secret prisons modeled on Guantanamo, reported today the press agency Kriminform.

The U.S. intelligence services are considering imprisoning the Islamic State militants in these new torture centers, while the Ukrainian government will be able to use them for its opponents, especially in the south of the country.

According to Kriminform, who did not want to reveal its sources for “obvious reasons,” the negotiations occurred between August and October this year, and parties agreed that Washington will fund the reinforcement of the defensive system in Ukraine, as a long-term debt.

In exchange, the Ukrainian government will let the U.S. use its territory for the facilities, claimed the press agency.

After the scandal that involved various EU countries, especially Lithuania and Poland, suspected of hiding CIA “black sites,” President Obama decided in 2009 to close the prisons and torture centers in these territories. For this reason, the U.S. intelligence services are considering creating more, as the Islamic State threat has represented a useful justification for the need for centers of unlimited and extra-judicial detention.

These prisons will also detain non-Ukrainian citizens and opponents suspected of collaborating with the south-eastern militias.

The centers are expected to be located in the center and west of the country, in facilities that are already imprisoning people captured in Donbass and civilians who did not want to colaborate with the repressive bodies, wrote Kriminform.

Ukraine confirmed that it could currently receive up to 150 prisoners, concluded the press agency.

    to return the USSR!
    even for cause.
    That the USSR back!
    Yugoslavia, RDA
    That the USSR back!
    to return the USSR!

Not that I believe in it blindly,
but this world is a fucking joke,
    Needless to balance the scales,
because the free market only fills his tummy.

The Olympics are no longer what they were,
without that tension and pressure of communism,
    handball, basketball, football and cycling,
and also in the world champions of athletics.

The USSR has come back …
    Lenin, Trotsky, Stalin and Khrushchev.
Yes, I will be contradictory, but something like that we have to do,
for this is the “cortijo” of Israel, the garden of the US and the EU.

Something must threaten to world power,
because we have just begun to fall,
    so, stop singing to nowhere
jostle a shower and join your comrades,
because too many owners, so you have to understand,
is that the USSR has to return.

    To return the USSR!
    Needless and
    to return the USSR!
    even for cause.
    That the USSR back!
    Yugoslavia, RDA
    That the USSR back!
    to return the USSR!

Here we are in the CCCP,
with arms akimbo, in a position to do what ‘
to the hammer and sickle are we going to put a keyboard,
for refund us more than a smoothing roof.

Let Bolshevik! begins in your city
the new communism we will relax,
here we fit everyone, and you, because the enemy we have is common.

The USSR has come back …
and by the dawn must dawn,
to declare non grato the state of Israel,
and bond speculators to the railway,
    because this is not normal,
Bilderberg Club is out of line yet.

We are going to put a wall and isolate the IMF,
but first we’re going to steal them,
    so, join the new USSR,
starts in the vineyard, in the south countryside,
the Winter Palace we will take someday,
and we are going to celebrate with beers and “acedías”.

    To return the USSR!
    Needless and
    to return the USSR!
    even for cause.
    That the USSR back!
    Yugoslavia, RDA
    That the USSR back!
    to return the USSR!….

    Out of topic.
Please, anybody could explain to me what “voenkora” (военкора) means?
    Thanks in advance.

    — военкора same as военкор its abbreviation of two short words воен. and кор. = военный корреспондент that mean war correspondent. The word voentorg=военторг mean store for war ammunition.

    Peace is or profession:

Seems as if we need a credible deterrent. Perhaps Saker can comment on his insights in “game playing” and how an adversary will react to a “credible deterrent”. This is a recipe for “shoot first and ask questions later”

Just wondering when Germany will realise that they are occupied by USA and demand the troops be taken home? It is about time, there is no external threat to Germany , no justification for USA to keep occupiers there. Yankee go home!

The UK is the only member of the EU to have been insane enough to impose a legally binding carbon dioxide reduction target intended to take it to 80 percent of 1990 levels by 2050. It’s also the only modern industrial nation where there’s serious talk of World War II-style energy rationing.

That’s quite reasonable as we do not have industries any more. Most of our wealth is created in the City of London by parasitical crooks.

Piece about supposed russian port being built up in abkhazia, at best useful for a few shallow water coast guard cutters, being hyped out of proportion in NATO propaganda claiming an entire deep sea ship port was being built.
    propaganda supplied by…RT!!

    ————————–
We were therefore told, to justify the initial allegations, that Russia is planning to deepen the port and build a significant land infrastructure. Take a tour of the silted up ports around Europe which have necessarily been abandoned and you will see how absurd this claim is.

Alarm bells should have rung in the heads of proper journalists when this story was broken by the Jamestown Foundation.

It claimed that it had obtained this information from a “trusted intelligence source”. In fact it had obtained it from official news channels such as Russia Today, which had openly broadcast this information.

Breaking news, It was a mind controlled psyops.. The Russians took over the mind of the dutch sub captain and made him stray into Sweden for some R&R..

The technology recorded the brain signals from a computer gamer and then fired them into the brain of another volunteer, triggering the nerves that controlled their hand muscles.

This allowed the gamer, who had no physical computer controls themselves, to use the other person to play a computer game.

The technology makes it possible to control the body of another person with thoughts – something that Professor Xavier was able to do in the X Men.

    I love Russian music too.

    Fond momories for me….

    @Sam (AntiNWO),

Thank you very much for the article. You do not know how comforting is for me and at the same time I see that things may not be as quick or as adjusted to ideal as we would like sometimes.
I have to confess that I sometimes doubt about V.V.Putin, but because I have no real information about what is happening there ( especially at events in Novorussia ). But I appreciate and respect him a lot, and love him a lot too, and I try to defend him as I can, even in the moments when I doubt.
He has been a blessing for the Russian people and to the nations of the world. If there is hope for peace and progress of mankind lies in people like V.V.Putin.

Our moral obligation is to support him regardless of minor differences of opinion that, in the end, seeing the explanation given on Popular Monarchianism by The Saker, are not as pronounced. With minor differences, we look more or less the same.

Today, Moldova is experiencing a number of strange (and obscure to some) political, economic and socio-cultural events that are directly linked to official statements by Romanian leadership (specifically the Prime Minister Victor Ponta) declaring that “in the near future Moldova will cease to exist as a sovereign state” and will be transformed into a “Romanian province”.
