Now that we have seen Russian Orthodox Churches in Antarctic, Arctic and Airborne, I am confident it will move to international space station, then moon, and then sent with robot priests to Mars.

      “Now…Mars.”

Hey, it beats a bunch of synagogs full of yapping dual passport “je suis charlies”, or cathedrals stocked to the brim with hive mind “breeder-reactionaries”.

      :D

There is a centuries old tradition of Warrior Priests serving with the Russian military. They enlist, train and serve with the troops including Spetznaz and VDV and if war comes they fight shoulder to shoulder with their comrades. They have a bit of a fearsome reputation amongst those who have had the misfortune to tangle with them.

Father Giorgei at our Church St. Nikolas is Spetznaz (once Spetznaz you are Spetznaz until death and possibly beyond that event) and he served for quite some years in various AO’s. He and I have several standing jokes about service and we get along rather well. He is also part of the basis of the character Father Mitrofan in my writings.

While few in Russia wear their religion on their sleeves Russia many Russians are deeply religious and loyal to the Russian Orthodox Church. However, tolerance is the byword here and you will find Muslims, Buddhists and many other faiths well represented in both the military and civilian life. My lass and I had some good giggles during the events of early ’14 when the outsiders were bemoaning the poor ‘Muslim’ Tatari and how oppressed they were. Many Tatari, including our neighbors three doors away, served in the block posts and/or supported them with food and sundries and in this area it was Tatari who provided, transported and installed the heavy concrete barricades for the posts in Sevastopol Region and many did so in Krimu.

The US is trying out its version of Warrior Priests. Gays, Trannies and Lesbians. The final report isn’t in yet. I’m betting it won’t be good.

My friends from Georgia (your Georgia) that the Jews who went from Georgia to Israel were shocked to learn about anti-Semitism in other countries. I think it’s wonderful these priests are there…they are good for morale and inspiration. They sound like real men, too!!

Hopefully, Russia’s is not the world’s last Christian army. I fear I am wrong. I do hope it’s better than its opponents, though. I think it just might be.

It is very good to see that the Russian Christian soldiers spend time to worship Jesus Christ even during war. But why only in Russia? The Russian Orthodox Church should spread all round the world to help bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations. And in so doing to enable many to find salvation in Jesus Christ. In 1689, after the Treaty of Nerchinsk, Russians settled in Beijing and founded the first Orthodox Church there. There is no reason why this should not resume i.e. the founding of more Orthodox Churches in China and other nations. I understand each Patriarchate of the Orthodox Church is independent. Unlike the Roman Catholic Church which demand loyalty to the Pope even over the nations of which the Catholic Christians are citizens. So there would be much lesser problem with China and other nations when it comes to Church government. So Russian Christians, please march out, by the power of God Almighty, with the Gospel of Jesus Christ to other spiritually thirsty nations!

Meanwhile, the US is pushing Christianity out of the US Military. It is now the US is the “Godless” country.
