Two Russian tourists stopped at a gas station in Bulgaria to fix a flat tire on their beach buggy car. Suddenly, they were attacked by a gas station attendant, who started screaming at them and demanded them to leave. When they refused to leave before fixing a tire, he tried to take an air tire inflator from them, while screaming insults and obscenities at them.
When verbal assault didn’t make much impression on the Russians, he went inside to came back with a weapon.
According to the eye witnesses, the worker was from Poland.
Russian guy: Speak calmly. Why are you yelling?
Gas station attendant: It’s a private property. You have no right to be here.
Russian: What’s your problem? We are just fixing a tire.
Gas station attendant: I am boss here. This is my territory and fuck off here you, rusnazi. You bring dirt to the gas station.
Russian: Where do you see dirt? There is no dirt.
Gas station attendant: This air pump can’t do 5 PA atmospheric pressure.
Russian: This tire takes 1 PA. We use this gas station to inflate tires all the time. What’s your problem?
Gas station attendants demands them to take off their helmets to show their faces. He wanted to make sure that they were repeat customers who used to pump gas and air before.
[The Russian guy writes in comments under his video: “He already forgot his excuse about low PA air pump. He kept coming up with new excuses why we had to leave.
To make a long story short, this was a classic mindfucking. This is what happening in the world against Russia. I didn’t want to use that analogy, but essentially this is the way it is. They keep sucking out of their finger more and more new claims and demands against us, until we punch them in the teeth and they will get a feel of our retaliatory force.
With my hands I can break anything, a hand or a skull. I am not that good at fixing things. That’s why it took me so long to fix the punctured tire.
Friends, enough stirring up shit with no rhyme or reason! We are peaceful people. It’s much more pleasant and beneficial to be our friends, then to be our enemies!]
Russian: Calm down, or I will take your head off.
Russian: I don’t understand, why are you so disagreeable.
Russian: Stop yelling. Why are you doing this?
At 2:28 Russian: Listen, if you have any problems call the Police. Why are you yelling at us?
At10 The Polish guy calls the Police.
At 11 Russian: I know many Bulgarians, they are all normal people. You are fucked in your head.
The Police showed up and asked everyone to sign a protocol stating that no one had any complains. Everyone signed, including the Polish guy.
The end of story
Coming back to the same gas station and meeting the same worker.
The guy wrote under his video that any problem can be solved if people would just talk to each other, instead of yelling.
“The Police showed up and asked everyone to sign a protocol stating that no one had any complains. Everyone signed, including the Polish guy.”
LOL
I am amazed at why this is posted to the Saker blog, really… Why om earth is this even called Russophobia… And not just an idiot with mental issues overreacting.
It’s posted here because the number of idiots with mental issues is growing due to the propaganda and anti-Russian climate circulating for political reasons. Theresa May, the sorry excuse of a British prime minister, attempted to scaremonger against Russia to distract from her own pathetic shortcomings and failures, and she’s merely the latest example in a long string of anti-Russian propaganda being told and spread everywhere in the world for the same, lame reasons, to cover for deficiencies and failures of pathetic losers in politics.
But this had nothing to do with anti russian sentiment in Bulgaria and by far not Russophobia. The Saker has many times reffered to a definition of phobia, as a hatred AND gear. One can argue that there is a division in the Bulgarian society on Crimea, there (mostly due to fear of a precedent of Turkey annexxing parts of Bulgaria where turks are a minority). There is also slandring of People and politicians that argue the Russian point of vies as Kremins payrokl, communists… and Other noncense. The majority of Bulgarians are Russophiles (for a number of reasons) but there are no RussoPhobs. And this video clip doesnt show any Phobia. There is no hatred in Bulgaria for the Russian people! Very dissapointing.
The guy, who posted these videos, says that they turned their cameras on, because they wanted to have a proof of their innocence in this situation. They believe that if they didn’t have recorded this altercation, they would be criminally charged, because it would be their word against this gas station attendant word.
I also posted this material, because it’s a great illustration of what Russian people, tourists and residents of foreign countries, are facing every day. People tell horror stories of being assaulted and mistreated while confronted by a Russophobic doctor, or a dentist, a school teacher, a manager at work, a police officer or a judge, to say nothing about politicians and journalists.
I have lost count of all the times I was called “a Russian spy” by some “average folks” just because they heard something on news or watched “The Americans” television series. Combine this with interviews of the heads of security services and army generals urging to kill all the Russians.
BG: you wrote; “One can argue that there is a division in the Bulgarian society on Crimea,”
Bulgaria became a member of NATO in March 2004.The Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland joined NATO in 1999. Decades before Crimea voted to re-unite with Russia after the fascist putsch in Ukraine and the Western occupation of it. You do understated that NATO is purely an anti-Russia military alliance, do you?
Scott, BG tried to say that although the society in Bulgaria is divided due to the events in Crimea bulgarians don’t hate russians (the largest part of marriages with other nationals in Bulgaria is in favor of Russia). Just that. A note on the social dynamics in the country derived from day to day observations and interactions. He didn’t say anything regarding official political doctrines, military alliances etc.
Per your logic India should be viewed in the same light – they signed navy military treaty with USA providing bases, logistics, rotations and shared patrols. Also the video you shared depicts a crazy Polish guy who drinks too much of the PiS kool aid. The only bulgarians depict in the video are the policemen who managed the situation well and didn’t show any emotions in the range of phobias or philias. Given that this blog is dedicated to real news and information I do think like BG that the title of this entry entitles certain views which in fact are not true.
You are nice guy doing real journalism and I do like you pretty much. I agree with the facts in the article – that yes there was a deranged polish who tried to pick a fight with 2 completely normal russian guys who by the way reacted with dignity and deescalated the situation.
Excellent point!
Fair enough, but… this altercation was broadcasted by the Russia 24 channel: In Bulgaria, the gas station attendant attacked with a chair two Russians, who tried to adjust the pressure in their vehicle tires:

I mentioned Bulgaria’s accession to NATO to paint a broader historical context for those our readers who doesn’t know that.
My question to you. Why do you think the Eastern European countries joined the military alliance against Russia in 1999 to 2004, when Russia ‘s collapse seemed imminent to everyone in Europe?
If you know the answer to this question, you would know why this Polish guy couldn’t contain his anger.
Should we just briefly mention to that account that Bulgaria was more than happy to support NATO bombing of Serbia.
In the period 1999-2004 Bulgaria was on death bed. Russia has abdicated of its historical sphere of influence in the Balkans and US/NATO/EU were the hey of the day. After the banking and currency crisis instigated by the WB and IMF during 1997/1998 the Bulgarian Lev lost nearly 800% of its purchasing power. It was do or die for the country – either join or face ethnic crisis and civil war in the border regions with Turkey (the same model ZioNazies forced upon BiH, Kosovo etc). The rest is history.
Regarding the sky corridors which the Bulgarian government provided to NATO Air Forces this is a whole new story. For all was clear that Milosevic was past his time and his regime with the crazed generals needed to step down. Also the new history of Bulgaria is full of episodes where the Serbs back stabs the Bulgarians (200 000 ethnic bulgarians were left in Yugoslavia and when Yugoslavia broke up only 30 000 were left – eradicated by structural genocide, also we all remeber the Balkan Wars and the ethnic cleansing purported y the Serbian Army – look no further than the Carnegie Paper). Given all the history (and don’t even start me with the Macedonia issue) and the realpolitik situation of the time (US was all over the country) it was only logical for Bulgaria to grant access to the NATO air force (they give only 1 transit sky corridor and no bases).
I think all eastern European countries jumped on NATO/EU train just because they were sick after ~45 years of Bolshevik total rule. And the ZioNazi empire was very clear during the negotiations – either join us or join the 3rd world. That’s all. Even that Bulgaria is NATO member I am dead sure that if a time for war with Russia comes none in the Bulgarian Army will take weapon and start shooting. Here in Bulgaria Russia (more like the Russian people) is still sacred and although the animated animosity and hard words every one knows that Bulgarians loves Russians and vise versa and that everything else is Political Theater out of necessity.
The whole of the Eastern European Block (almost the whole) was dragged into NATO. This was part of the Cold War end – US took all toys which belonged to the USSR, spoils of war so to say. We both know well that this was the normal and logical conclusion of the whole Cold War era. All conflicts end in the same manner – the winner takes all and the looser bites dust. Let’s keep the fact straight and the analysis to the point. IMO this Polish guy was so full of vitriol not due to NATO/US/EU conditioning and propaganda but due to the very real and very nationalistic Polish propaganda and some history episodes. All Poles I know really don’t like (some even hate) Russia and all things Russian. This didn’t happen in the ’90s but was always part of the Polish national psychology.
Also I don’t think it’s quite clever to try to justify click-bait titles with history episodes (especially recent history) which still need to be validated by the time and the future generation.
I like your analysis, your strategic and critical thinking. Keep up the good work.
Hi G,
Please give us more of your ‘historical’ account of Milosevic and his generals. And also about backstabbing, did this happened when WW1 started and you joined Austro – Hungarian Empire in attacking Serbia from the back or was it when WW2 started and you joined Nazis in the attack on Kingdom of Yugoslavia from the back or was it in 1913 when you attacked Serbia that just got out of the war with Ottoman Empire? And please give us more of that ethnic cleansing story especially of Bulgarians.
Саше please see below my response to Mарко.
The reference is of 1885 when the Bulgaria declared unification with Eastern Roumelia (part returned as vassal to the Sultan thanks to the then world powers at the Berlin Congress). The Bulgarian armed forces expected war with Turkey…but were stabbed by the Serbs…by Austro Hungarian instigation. The unification of Bulgaria was paid by the casualties of the War with Serbia.
More of the hatred between Bulgaria and Serbia resulted from the Balkan wars and especially the inter allies war at the end of it (1912). Bulgaria, Greece and Serbia had preliminary agreements of spheres of influence and theaters of military action prior to the beginning of the Balkan War. So happened that while the Bulgarians fought the Turks, the Serbians occupied not only their “sphere of influence” but a substantial part of the Bulgarian one. This resulted in the inter allies war, where Bulgarians learned the hard way that the Greeks and Serbians have concluded a secret deal behind Bulgarians back to annex the area considered Bulgarian (at the agreement prior to the Balkan war). The result was ethnic cleansing and displacement of tens of thousand of people from what is today Greece and Macedonia.
I recommend a book by Anri Pozi, written I believe in 1936 titled “The War returns”. (I have it in Bulgarian, if interested ask plamen_petkov5@hotmail.com)
I would not claim this story made the Bulgarians like the bombing of Yugoslavia.
Lets us face it – the IS is extremely skillful at manipulating public opinion and especially at installing in power “their son of a bitches”. Bulgaria was no exemption. They have been doing it over and over for decades (starting in 1954 in Iran). This makes it ironic for them to complain that Russians are interfering in their elections…having bragged about spending 5 billion on the taking over the Ukraine.
By the way, When India has a military exercise with anyone, they specific point out that exercise was pointed at China, if they are buying a new kind of weapon, that is also for China:
India conducts major exercise in strategically-located Andaman & Nicobar Islands
https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/india-conducts-major-exercise-at-the-strategically-located-andaman-nicobar-islands/articleshow/61784692.cms
“NEW DELHI: India has conducted a major military exercise in the strategically-located Andaman and Nicobar Island archipelago, which with requisite force-levels and infrastructure, can effectively act as a pivot to counter China’s strategic moves in the Indian Ocean Region + (IOR) as well as ensure security of sea lanes converging towards the Malacca Strait”
Here is what Chinese has to say:
Indian Ocean military drill irresponsible: experts

“Indian military drills in the Indian Ocean targeting China were irresponsible and a violation of International Law, Chinese experts said. ”
Mega India-Russia military drill keeps China on tenterhooks
http://zeenews.india.com/india/mega-india-russia-military-drill-keeps-china-on-tenterhooks-2051080.html
They may not be Russophobic yet, but they are phobic at neighbors doing better then them, and want to drag them down to their level. Be grateful, Russia is no an Indian neighbor.
And what about when Russia holds joint military drills with Pakistan? Last time the Indian MSM was crazy with Rusophobia during the drills. Aren’t we discussing facts here anymore?! Is the blog now an echo chamber of doctored and ideology driven click-baits? There aren’t completely bad and good actors, situations etc. In the real world everything is grey – people’s motivation, actions and so on. Let’s stick to the known facts and analyze the situation as it should be analyzed without painting it with -philias or -phobias colors. In the provided video I see crazed Pole who try to harass two Russians. Bulgarian policemen came and deescalated the situation very politely. The title suggests that actual bulgarians were harassing the two russians. I only pointed out that and agreed with the opinion of BG. I only comment that the title was click bait and that the title was suggesting unreal things. Period. I know that everyone here dreams of becoming the Guardian and Defender of the two headed eagle but lets keep to the facts ant the quality of the analysis. That’s all.
maybe because now their is also Polophobia around….
“Polophobia”? I think it is called polish jokes. These have been around for 100s of years. Whether these represent an accurate assessment of polish behaviour patterns or are simply prejudice has been debated almost as long. The current crop of poles seems hell bent on proving the the former, though.
My personal opinion is that the Poles should thank to the Vatican and the Catholic indoctrination for those ‘polish behavior patterns’. I even entertain myself with the idea if there are similarities between Poland and Philippines due to the century long Catholitisation so to say :D
Slavic unity and brotherhood.
Most of those West of Russia want war with Russia. Unfortunately, due to the formidability of the Red Army, war with Russia is not actually seen as a good idea, hence the reluctance of the EU to engage in such an endeavor, without seeing the US engage properly first that is. And the US for its part just wants to lend moral and material support towards such an undertaking. So its a bit of a dilemma, no-one wants to be first in tackling the Russian bear militarily.
This impotence in those West of Russia just builds up and builds up, and the resultant sexual frustration causes rage against Russian civilians / tourists in the regions West of Russia.
Bulgaria is famous for inviting Erdogan to their recent independence celebrations instead of Putin when it was Russia who liberated Bulgaria from the Ottoman yoke.
All is known of unreasonable and crazy hatred felt by Pols for Russia but what to say of majority of Bulgarians? Bulgaria was created, liberated and lovingly treated since the 1870s by Russia yet Bulgarians never fail to stab Russia in the back. They always side with crazy Germans and/or the English but always somehow getting away with murder.
Russians have to start thinking along the lines their enemies do: you stop blindly obeying or you cross me or backstab me, you and everyone yours die. This is the way of the Wild Wild West. Anyone notice how the western Cabala not only killed Saddam and colonel Gaddafi but they killed their families too?
IMHO, next time Russia should turn a blind eye when Turkey decides to pay Bulgarians, Greeks, Macedonians, Montenigers et al a visit. Let the almighty EU and NATO reason with mister Erdo. Russia should cut a deal and stay back with popcorn in their hands.
“All is known of unreasonable and crazy hatred felt by Poles for Russia”
Felt by Poles, really? All of them? 90%? 50%? 10%? Not knowing for sure, maybe one should avoid such generalizations?
Could I ask just one polite question: how do you all know and accept at once, without proof, that this very unfriendly attendant was Polish?! Eyewitnesses said so? Why? Does he look Polish? What is so typically Polish about him? He does not say even one Polish word…
Hi, the text mentions that the attendant was a Polak. As for the hatred toward Russia, only the insanely crazy, blinded by hatred government/nation would allow a hostile third party to install their offensive armament on their home territory. That is exactly what the Polish government have done practically painting a target sign across their country. The same applies to Romanians. Bulgarians are not far behind.
Just for your information – Bulgaria do no host any military installations – be they defensive or offensive. Bulgaria hosts only personal in 2 land bases. Bulgarians doesn’t even provide regular port berths for the US/NATO navy. Bulgaria hosts some personnel and 1 center for communication. That’s all and nothing more. Even during 2015 Bulgaria was the actor that shattered the NATO dreams for Black Sea flotilla – the bulgarian PM even pressured his romanian counterpart to step back. The small countries caught between the big players in the game of keeps are not dumb (most of them), the small countries do not want war – they have a lot of it during the past centuries. The small countries pretend to play the game but always look for better opportunities and pay mostly lip service to the empire. The Saker has said it so many times – before you start analyzing and giving conclusion you need to gather the facts – the real facts. So I suggest Marko for you to start from the facts first and after that to do the analysis.
Hugs :)
Hey брато Марко – https://ecommons.cornell.edu/handle/1813/1456
Here you can familiarize yourself with the atrocities of the Serbian Army during the II Balkan War. I don’t want to go in details as they were very unpleasant and mostly horrible. The serbian army was in tandem with the greek, they put Macedonia on fire, killed most of the church clergy (the church clergy in Macedonia were bulgarians).
And now to the other issue here. With the Paris Accords the so called ‘western outskirts’ were transferred to Serbia. At the time of transfer there were 200 000 ethnic bulgarians (I know you serbs are very keen on insisting that bulgarians are in no way ethically related to serbs and other slavs). At the time of the last calculus the number of the ethnic bulgarians in those regions is below 30 000. How that happened? By structural genocide – the serb gov never made an effort to build adequate infrastructure like roads, hospitals, schools etc. And they always block the humanitarian efforts of the bulgarian authorities. This is death by negligence. I see you брате are high on serbian glory and other pseudo nationalistic ideas but you can’tt bring paradise on earth by preaching death! I am sick of such brainvoids as you. Are you dreaming of peace and glory across the balkans in the expense of the life of bulgarians, albans, greeks etc.? The times have changed, people were killing whole people in the time of the old testament, now the only way forward is by assessing the lessons of history, being good with your neighbors and fighting TOGETHER against the Empire.
P.S. And my favorite theme – Macedonia. Macedonia was given to TITO by STALIN. In macedonia 85%+ of the pop were bulgarians, real bulgarians. They were yougoslaved and prosecuted if stating their bulgarian roots (Half of my family perished in the hands of the serbian police during the yougoslavization but luckily the other half managed to escape to Kuystendil). Fortunately the macedonians are starting to see through the fog and by talks and discussions they are moving forward. All balkan nations should do the same – talk to each other instead of pointing fingers (Removed language.MOD)
I am sorry G but this is absolute nonsense. Up to first Balkan war the Bulgarian irregulars (komite) were forcefully converting the Serbian population in this region. They were allowed to that by Ottomans Empire as they never fought against Turks. There are many original documents, one written by Russian ambassador Yastrebov, in regards to the population of Serbs, Arbanas (Albanians) and Bulgarians.
Please note that during the Ottoman empire all of the orthodox churches were closed excluding Greek orthodox church. Greek orthodox church required that all the services must be done in Greek language. At one stage Bulgarians rebelled and started converting to uniat church (which is the outpost of catholic church). At the intervention from Russia the Bulgarian church was given the Independence at which stage they got the taste for expansions and started sending there own emissaries in to the Old Serbia what you refer as Macedonia. There are many records of Bulgarian priests and monks burning the manuscripts and books written in old Serbian they found in monasteries and churches. And again not to mention Bulgarian komite which were well remembers by Serbian population for the merciless behavior.
And yes this is Serbian land. There is Car Dusan law (zakonik) from 11 century a.d. that indicates the nationalities that he was ruling over and the regions that these nationalities have lived. Bulgarians never lived in the regions that you are referring to as Macedonia.
I see you are serbian. Nonsense upon nonsense. Do you know what was there before 11 c. Have you heard about the Magnaur and Ochrid schools? have you heard about tsar Samuil? You haven’t because real facts are not welcome in the serbian propaganda.
I want you to cite documents and historical references regarding your statements above. everything I stated is well known and acknowledged in various treaties, documents etc.
I don’t hate/dislike serbians. I am ok with you. I have a lot of friends who are serbians. Half of my wife’s family lives in serbia because they were left in macedonia after the end of WW II. Most of them were killed but the ones who survived moved to Belgrade. I enjoy very much my serbian friends. We spoke a lot and regarding history and balkan stereotypes. We all agree on one thing – all balkan nations are far too busy speaking bulshits for their neighbors. And this is all too god for both West and East super powers because as the saying goes – Divide and Conquer. in the balakans there won’t be aanymore great serbia, great bulgaira, great vlachia, great greece etc. The only entity that could tresspass the centuries to come is unified balakan political entit. All other permutations will lead to war, bloodshed and further ‘balkanizing’ of the penisnsula.
Bulgaria was created in the 7th century.
This was a pa1-beach-buggy-tire false flag operation.
Just an anal victim. I’d simply laugh at the loser. Point a finger and laugh uproariously .
One has gotta be some dumb moron to go for work at a gas station in Bulgaria…from arguably wealthier Poland. This clown may be a crypto-ukr . Pardon for the obvious not occurring to me in time for the first comment.
For anyone who knows Russian, this is a very good article on the Russophobia origins and development in Bulgaria: https://www.vedomosti.ru/opinion/articles/2017/10/20/738689-bratushki-bratoubiitsami
The author is a military historian. Below is a translation from google, which is not very good, but still you will get the idea:
“If someone told me that the day would come when it would be necessary to sign the declaration of the Bulgarian war, I would have mistaken him, but nevertheless this day has come, “Nicholas II said October 18, 1915. Russian society was not affected less than the sovereign: we freed them from the Turks, and they …

Why is this Pole working in a gas station in Bulgaria? Kick the bum out. Plenty of hungry and jobless Bulgarians who can do his job and would gladly do his job if given the chance.
Bulgaria has historically been a country that has been extremely tolerant of outsiders. All the russophobes and whatever-phobes are not wanted in my country and can sod off to wherever they came from. American tourists, russian tourists and any other open-minded, law-abiding tourists are welcome to Bulgaria. I see no russophobia here, only one dumb Pole. (mod-to note: deleted line)
I‘m Bulgarian and be sure, despite (((their))) hysterical propaganda (narrative: Communism = Russians), Bulgarians love an honor the great Russian people. Most of us, especially the older ones, speak and read Russian – a great source of information. Unfortunately there are very many non Bulgarians in our country, like everywhere in Europe (not in Hungary), and this could have been one of them. Its a pity, so many Poles have become this brainwashed.
