Dear friends,

I suggest you should shut down the channel soon as possible because the individual or group who open it without your permission must have sinister intention.
How can the Saker shut it down if it is not his?????
Well, I don’t want to shut it down.
I want to know who runs it, that’s all.
So far, all that channel does it inform readers of new posts.
I have no objection to that.
Just want to know who does it :-)
Cheers
The Saker
Tried to open it with Firefox they said “Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address because one of the following protocols isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.
You may have to down load software in order to open it.!!!
Seems like someone is running a scam.!!!
It’s not a Scam, by the looks of it, the links to articles in the Saker site being posted on Telegram is being done by a robot/script.
Should I join that channel? I see 53 subscribers currently.
Think I will stay away and read them on the Saker.!!!
Why not just check in regularly with The Saker Blog (i.e., here)?
Katherine
Hmmm….wonder the 52 members are too.
You might find the FAQ for the site at https://telegram.org/faq helpful. Start at “Q: A bot or channel is infringing on my copyright. What do I do?”. The answer to the next question says “Whenever we receive a complaint at abuse@telegram.org or dmca@telegram.org regarding the legality of public content, we perform the necessary legal checks and take it down when deemed appropriate.”
I would think directing an inquiry to either/both of those email addresses could solve the mystery.

General FAQ.
Excerpts:
What is Telegram? What do I do here?
Telegram is a messaging app with a focus on speed and security, it’s super-fast, simple and free. You can use Telegram on all your devices at the same time — your messages sync seamlessly across any number of your phones, tablets or computers.
With Telegram, you can send messages, photos, videos and files of any type (doc, zip, mp3, etc), as well as create groups for up to 200,000 people or channels for broadcasting to unlimited audiences. You can write to your phone contacts and find people by their usernames. As a result, Telegram is like SMS and email combined — and can take care of all your personal or business messaging needs. In addition to this, we support end-to-end encrypted voice calls.
Who are the people behind Telegram?
Telegram is supported by Pavel Durov and his brother Nikolai. Pavel supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai’s input is technological. To make Telegram possible, Nikolai developed a unique custom data protocol, which is open, secure and optimized for work with multiple data-centers. As a result, Telegram combines security, reliability and speed on any network.
Where is Telegram based?
The Telegram development team is based in Dubai.
Most of the developers behind Telegram originally come from St. Petersburg, the city famous for its unprecedented number of highly skilled engineers. The Telegram team had to leave Russia due to local IT regulations and has tried a number of locations as its base, including Berlin, London and Singapore. We’re currently happy with Dubai, although are ready to relocate again if local regulations change.

As The Saker wrote below, this guy just posts articles from here… I can´t see nothing wrong with it, “at first glance”.
I will follow it, just “to give some life” to my Telegram´s account, LOL..! (…I opened it for Colonel Cassad´s info about the Iraki crisis…)
Kind regards..!
It seems quite inoffensive by now, but could turn into a nightmare sooner than later. Just imagine if in the incoming days some very ugly crap published there and attributed to the blog here? Even if a closer investigation would quickly show the case, the damage would be done already.
Discovering this new tool. Why would they use it? Beyond me
My advice is shut it down. Then, if you want to run it, do it yourself.
I suspect that the ‘The Saker Telegram’ must has some kind of agenda. However, I think you should try to contact the individual who own the telegram directly why they do it without telling you anything. If they don’t answer you, then I think you should contact telegram company to shut down it like Paul Craig Roberts had contacted Twitter to shut down the ‘Paul Craig Roberts twitter’ that post Roberts reports without his notice.
… I already suspected … ;)
Kind regards for both of you..!
