Dear friends,
The Serbian Saker blog has had a difficult history. This is the only Saker blog which saw not one, but four complete team changes. It looks like after a few false starts and the loss of one excellent Team Leader (due to personal circumstances), the Serbian Saker blog is now bouncing back with a new, very dynamic, team.
If you have not seen it yet, check out this “new edition Serbian Saker Blog”: http://stepskisoko.com/
The Saker
I love the bird flying. A worthy compliment to the saker sitting on a mountain perch at the mother-nest.
Typical Serbs,
Four Serbs in a room and 5 different opinions…
Alternatively, 4 Serbs, all team leaders, no followers.

Don’t single out Serbs. This is pretty typical of all of Eastern Europe.
Yes but the Serbs are my people and I’ll paint them any color I want. In other words, their in-cohesiveness is felt all the more sharply by me.
Good luck to the new team. Serbia needs some victories.
May be a few days old; no date on it.

The ministry noted with regret that the report contains only a small part of the facts, what it calls “evidence on crimes of the Ukrainian leadership against its own people.”
Thus, according to the Defense Ministry, during the conflict in the Donbass, the APU lost the following in battle: killed – about 24 thousand people, wounded – almost 54 thousand. More than nine thousand military reported missing.
According to the report, non-combat losses amounted to 1 309 people dead. It is noted that 873 people have died as a result of suicide.
The Office emphasizes that the Ukrainian authorities glossed over the real losses, “because for many of them the operation in the Donbas became a major source of corruption.”
I don’t know what to think but we can use Yemen where there is no real direct contact with the warring parties, they all either run to one side or another when there is any contact so not much fighting takes place and the figure is like 8000 dead.. In Ukraine, many of the fighting units were involved in intense combat and we saw all those destroyed equipment and we are led to believe there was no one in them.. What about all the units which were cut off and surrounded as if they all surrendered and were allowed to go home. The figures of like 6000 dead just don’t make much sense, especially when you bomb civilian areas. In Syria the number of SAA killed in the first 2 years were in the 30,000 level before they learnt to protect themselves. I would think the losses would be far higher in Ukraine as both sides have much more powerful weapons and knows how to use them. So a figure of 50,000 would more accurately represent such use of weapons of much higher lethality. We know there was a lot of MLRS usage in Ukraine even in civilian areas which did not happen in Syria. And we are supposed to believe no one died.
Nice design. All text, no distracting (and bandwith consuming pictures). Wish all blogs could be like this and čestitam na novi blog.
Excellent news. Serbs are one of the bonebacks of the resistance.
Alexander Mercouris recently posted an article on Russia Insider,in which he suggests that Sergei Ivanov is the real #2 in Russia.

Tacked on the end is a very interesting interview showing the character of the man……..a real class act IMO.
Currently Chief-of-staff of the Presidential administration,he has served as defence minister and other key posts, like Security Council Secretary.
Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev,Sergei Ivanov and President Putin have pulled the country round.

How about this: gave refuge, brotherly comfort and support to hundreds of thousands of White Russian refugees after the end of the Soviet Civil War. Amongst them was my entire family. It was also there that the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad was founded. That kind of debt can never be repaid.
Then there is the fact that I am acutely aware of the horrendous injustice done to the Serbian people during the US attack on Yugoslavia.
And, finally, the Serbs have always been the only true friends of Russia in all of Europe. As for Russia, she still has unfinished business to take care in Serbia, beginning at the Pristina airport ;-)
Cheers,
The Saker
Conversely, my pride in them can also be felt all the more sharply when the good they are ultimately capable of ahines through.

Congratualtions, Saker and the new Serbian Team.
Good luck.
