While we wait for a video and transcript to be available, I’ve gathered these quotes from Mr Lavrov’s interview with Rossiya 24 –
Amarynth
“Our special military operation is designed to put an end to the reckless expansion and reckless course towards complete domination by the United States and, under them, the remainder of Western countries on the world stage.
“This domination is built on gross violations of international law and under some rules, which they are now hyping so much and which they make up on a case-by-case basis,”
“Kosovo can be recognized as independent without a referendum. Crimea cannot, despite holding a referendum observed by [many international monitors],”
“In Iraq, 10,000 kilometers away from the US, they imagined some threat to their national security. They bombed it, found no threat. And didn’t even say they were sorry,” “But when right at our border they grow neo-Nazi ultra-radicals, create dozens of biolabs … working on bioweapons, as documents prove, we are told we are not allowed to react to those threats,” he added.
The EU’s role has shifted during the Ukraine security crisis. Previously it didn’t act as a military organization “fighting collectively against an invented threat.” Lavrov said the change was the result of pressure put on the bloc’s members by Washington, which has pushed it closer to NATO.
“This is an utterly serious change, even in the policy that the EU and the West under US leadership – there is no doubt about it – began to pursue after the start of our special military operation. A policy that reflects anger, in some ways even frenzy, and which, of course, is determined not only by [the situation in] Ukraine, but by Ukraine being transformed into a foothold for the final suppression of Russia”,
Regarding Josep Borrell
“When a diplomatic chief … says a certain conflict can only be resolved through military action… Well, it must be something personal. He either misspoke or spoke without thinking, making a statement that nobody asked him to make. But it’s an outrageous remark,”
“Western propaganda shifted gear into depicting Russia as pure evil and [Ukraine] as pure good. The current Ukrainian regime is presumably a beacon of democracy, justice, freedom that is drawn to everything European, to the values that Europe claims it always adhered to,” the minister said.
It’s obvious that Russia needs to double down on it’s “pivot to the east”,and also diversify/reindustrialize it’s economy, in order to reduce/remove any dependency she still may have on the west, put effort into becoming high-tech independent, and make good use of the puppet/corpse called ukraine, by annexing the farming lands and the ones rich in natural resources.
Let’s talk about Pakistan then, how possible for Putin to help Imran Khan before he gets kicked out by the soon to be Pak West-backed government if they won…? Is Kazakh and Belarus scenario possible? He met Putin some times ago…
Was he ousted already…? Come on, Surely Russia and China would prefer non Pro-West government in Pakistan, it would create turbulent in Silk Road Project, and China-India-Pakistan relationship…. I don’t quite get what is the real issue here, but it seems going to be bad… Another US’ Regime Change.
https://www.rt.com/news/553633-ousted-pakistani-pm-struggle-foreign-conspiracy/
Pakistan is of course ruled by the Military
and Owned by China in Investment far surpassing all others
Just as in USA politics change in president doesn’t change overall trajectory
when SA asked Pak to assist in war in Yemen Pak risking SA investment said No
the money China is pouring in Pakistan dominates all else as it rightfully should
ITS Helping Pakistan grow out of poverty
I think you have the right of it. The measured, calm remarks displayed on the subject in Global Times would tend to confirm.
“Russia seeks to end US-dominated world order – Lavrov” (RT)
“Our special military operation is meant to put an end to the unabashed expansion and the unabashed drive towards full domination by the US and its Western subjects on the world stage,” Lavrov.
Does it mean that Russia (and China) are now also standing up for the sovereignty of other countries in Zone B where the agressor is changing regimes and sowing proxy wars?
Accordingly to Lavrovs statement, …is the next proxy war in Parkistan?
Depende on the country. Say Latin american nations. Pakistan is already atender of conflict, as is India (a media psyop already underway, led by Arnad and Republictv)
After seeing thousands congregate in his favor massively, the Supreme Court, Parliament and military eho sold out to uncle schmuel and do its bidding, they will have to seriously reflect on going through with it. Stop or be enemy of the people and repress them
What they need to do is build as many S500’s and S550’s as they can, as quickly as possible, then be prepared to strike first. This is all escalating out of hand now – I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a direct NATO attack on Russia within a year.
@irf520
So Lavrov slams Borell for saying that this is only settled on the battlefield, and you say ‘more arms’. Go stand with Borell.
Ritter, in another article/video, here makes an analysis that thinks that the objectives of Russia end when the NAzis are gone and Zelenski concedes, also thinking this is all about the battle. He is right in the little detail, wrong on the big picture.
Look folks, Russia entered Ukraine OSTENSIBLY to clear the Nazis and to defend the Donbass, because that is a legally defensible premise.
But Lavrov speaks the actual objective loud and clear: “to put an end to the reckless expansion and reckless course towards complete domination by the United States and, under them, the remainder of Western countries on the world stage.” No battle in history has been to do with this or that district. Likewise, this special operation has little to do with Ukraine.
So stop talking about the war, blow by blow, and start thinking about how the hell a bunfight in Ukraine can end America’s global dominance. How?
This is a perfected asymmetric battle which Russia is waging specifically against the financial architecture of western banking and corporate hegemony. Don’t see that? Perhaps look at the war in its totality. If the US is waging financial and corporate total war on Russia, understand that is the battle.
Why? Because western finance – the G6 – is on the cusp of implementing a perfected financial tyranny on the world, like the petrodollar on steroids.
We all know Central Bank Digital Currencies CBDC’s are coming, in the next 2-5 years. A single central bank-coordinated currency uniting all the G6 reserve currencies.
This is not a monetary addition but a major default and reset of western finance, transferring money creation and control from private banks to Central Banks. This is a default, like the default in 1972 when the US robbed the world of dollar convertibility to gold by which and through its military the US and partners, as referenced by Lavrov, have managed to plunder the world. In this default, the fiat currencies of the west are replaced in every account, every pay cheque, every valuation by programmable, totally transparent government digital currencies. We all know this has the potential for specific person-by-person restrictions as per the social credit system in China, and that it ends privacy.
This also applies to nation states. This coming event is what Russia is stopping in advance. This is what Lavrov is referring to.
When all sovereign foreign reserves of dollars, sterling, Euro, Yen, AUS and CAN are converted 1:1 for digital dollars it implies total surveilance and control of all nations plugged into western dominated finance. The theft of Russia’s dollar and Euro reserves, the freezing of its business, the savage personal, specific and national sanctions that we have all seen also in Venezuela, Syria, Libya will become total, easy, immediate and entirely unavoidable when converted by dictat to a western CBDC. If any country does not sign a contract with a huge lobbying US corporation, or political dissents, of does not implement LGBT agenda, or ESG’s, or does not provide access to resources on favourable terms, or trades with an unapproved partner, a global digital CBDC literally, without guns or effort, can be used to bring any nation to its knees at the flick of a switch.
Russia’s business in Ukraine has been to trigger a financial battle against the abusive system of weaponised western finance as it has been constructed and run since the last default in the 1970’s. That is what Lavrov is saying. The US military is irrelevant – just an enforcer of this system.
So Russia’s primary objective in Ukraine has been to rid itself of western contracts without breaking the law by deliberately attracting western sanctions. It worked like a charm. We in the west have withdrawn and broken our contracts. Objective 1 has been achieved, so that objective two can be implemented.
Objective two is to enforce bilateral trade between nations in local currencies or direct exchange or for gold via an alternative to Swift as a matter of urgency so that, when the dollar / digital dollar currency reserve bait and switch is pulled off vassal nations will have an alternative bi-lateral local currency trade system in place and can shrug off the losses. Russia is in a unique position to do this because it has vast amounts of materials that literally every nation is dependent on.
This second objective is unfolding fast and it is dawning on people in power over here that they have played directly into a masterful check mate. We have orchestrated, in our responses to Russia’s minor incursion, our own end of our own financial imperialism. It is absolutely horrifying in the corridors of western power. It marks, as Larry Fink said, the end of globalism. Russia is forcing the start of multipolarity.
Russia and Lavrov have made this clear from the outset. Sod the grubby little Nazis in Ukraine. This is about the real deal in the upper echelons of western power being stopped when they are on the brink or realising total and enduring vassalage of the world via a default to a new surveillance/sanctioning currency.
Russia is going to take as long as needs be in Ukraine until bilateral trade is rock solid, until domestic strife in the west puts violent pressure on the incumbent banking cronies, until the corporations of the west are begging for a whole basket of raw materials and food.
That is what Lavrov is talking about.
What you say is all well and good, but it assumes at least some semblance of order for a period of time. From what I see the West just keeps doubling down – not surprising when no doubt they realise their time of pillaging the rest of the world could be coming to an end. I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point they decide it’s worth “going for broke” and launching a direct attack, possibly when the Russian army is most heavily engaged in Ukraine. If, at some point, you realise a fight is inevitable … well, you know the rest.
@irf
Yes, its delicate. You are right, there will not be a period of stability while this goes on. But as long as this war persists there will be persistent conditions that are conducive to the creation of and formalisation of bi-lateral alternatives to hegemony. And that’s the objective, as Lavrov points out. He keeps saying it, in fact, in opening remarks in India and China, that they are working towards ending unipolarity, instituting justice, law, mutual win-win cooperation, partnership and peace. So this is a financial war with little to do with Ukrainian Nazis, any more than Syria was about Assad or Nord Stream was about climate change.
I think they’ll succeed. The west is convinced that every countermeasure Russia makes is an emergency reaction to western effectiveness. It isn’t. Russia is in charge of this situation, not the west. So while the west believes it is drawing Russia into a prolonged war by supplying weapons which in turn keep Russia under sanction for years, Russia sees this as the golden opportunity. While under sanction, Russia has years to fully establish bilateral trade at the end of which there will be de-facto multipolarity. That’s the game. And to do it without it escalating into a major war.
Over and out.
Awesome comment, hope everyone here who blathers “why does Russia not turn gas off” reads this and understands…
To add, just like NATO, EU and USA are using Ukraine to achieve its ends, Russia is also using Ukraine to achieve its ends
A chess player knows a good opening move and keeping pressure without showing it off assures you to go for the jugular whenever you want
What this has done is exposed the nefarious intent of the West. Nowhere else someone can blatantly get away with dumping arms openly into another country to fight someone else
Imagine if Russia had the means to do it any combat between 1990-2010 that the west started!
@ Proper Gander
You are making clear to everyone here, expanding on Lavrov’s admission that this is “it’ (and as I have also suspected from the very beginning of SMO and said so on many occasions, although my deep wish was that I was wrong) that we are on that irrevocably slide towards the destruction of the Hegemon, although my original suspicions were solely of a first salvo for the elimination of NATO in a gradual process to cripple the Hegemon and keep it restrained its own backyard. That gradualist approach would have saved Europe from the impending danger of becoming the sacrificial lamb for the Hegemon but the EU’s leaders recalcitrant behaviour will doom its people to utter misery just in time for the people to see, too late, their betrayal, that they were the servants of the Hegemon all along.
I still hope they’ll see the light on the 11th hour before the impending disaster and renounce allegiance to the Hegemon or that the people will rise to stop this madness. However, the propaganda tsunami unleashed by the Hegemon’s foghorns has desensitized them to see the danger.
The financial aspect of the Hegemon’s plans were outside my radar antennas but it must also had figured in it as the ultimate and comprehensive tool for domination. Under such regime it would have been the real “end of history”, Orwell on steroids.
The central banks of most countries are also privately owned by individuals, who are not necessarily citizens of the countries in question. Most likely they are offshore, somewhere like Zurich.
The exception is China, whose central bank is government owned to creates their domestic currency the yuan free of debt to private banks.
Of course all the central banks could in fact create their national currencies free of debt merely by making a data entry on their computers. The usual argument against this concept is inflation of the currency. However, it would be a simple matter to deal with this by having the taxing authority delete a fraction back out of existence every year, that would also reduce inequality. This is essentially the position of the Globalists, who wish to create a universal currency, so that you will own nothing and be “happy” about it according to Klaus Schwab.
Then there are the Nationalists, who wish to have their state currencies created by their government owned
Treasury Department that also acts as a central bank.
NATO can’t risk a conventional war with Russia as it would almost certainly lose. Nuclear war is not winnable by either party, but could still happen. At present NATO can only to stand on the sidelines and cheer on their Ukrainian proxies, who are facing the prospect of a massive defeat.
As for the S500s and S55Os they will likely not be needed in Ukraine, unless NATO does something totally out of character and is bold enough to fight a very well prepared peer rival. In any event I think we can be fairly sure that production of these advanced systems is proceeding at the most practicable rate.
hear ye hear ye!
stand up or be kneeled down
I’m just hoping that when Evgeny Podkletnov showed the Russians in the early 2000’s how to deliver a bending force at a distance, they made an incoming missile defence out of it.
I suspect our side will throw the first salvo of ICBM’s, and under such a condition, it would be nice to see the whole lot get disabled…
A western direct attack on Russia will eventually come.
But very unlikely to happend within next 3 years.
First they will TRY to pull the afghan-tactic (arm ukrainians, train ukranians, and fund that proxy war. And eventually try to get some of them to do terrorist attacks on russian soil… so can drag the russians even further into moneyusage).
And at same time they will trippledown on trying to change governments all over the world into anti-russian settlements. (Especially on border of russia and any possible allies that russia have).
They allready tried in Belarus, Kazakhstan this year/last year.
And they will try to escelate the Azerbadjan-Armenia conflict.
And Georgia, Kyrgistan, Turknenistan, Uzbek, etc.
When they feel they have either successfully couped most of russias neighbours, or destabilized them enough… and have armed ukranian wests with enormous amount of weapons etc…. then is the time usa will get nato to first go into westukraine…. then eventually try to attack russia.
Make no mistake… nato WILL eventually attack Russia.
The question is WHEN.
I doubt they will invade russia in the next 3 years.
But i do think they will invade westukraine during end of this year.
When a bully gets away with his bullying (he sees he is not being held accountable. Like usa), they will always themself escelate situations one step at a time.
Thats how bullies work. And this is how usa have behaved since WW2.
When they get some retaliations, like vietnam war, they regroup and find new ways to be able to keep bullying.
Same with when Trump won the election… that was a big upset to the elites that controlled usa. They had full controll of the traditional media narratives, but they overlooked the social media platforms and internet media platforms. Like old guys.
That mistake they definitly wanted to fix, so in the next 4 years we all saw unprecedented censirship and crackdowns on thiusands and thousabds of both left and rightcentered media outlets which did not follow the elites decided narratives.
Regardless the task was to big for trump. He never knew how powerfull the swamp was. How deep and high up the control goes. He tried to much to change by softpower, by having some of the stooges around. But just got sabotaged at every corner and dragged out energyprocesses.
Anyway, i am not a trump fan.
But it is just to give a clear vusual about how much control they have. And how they cement their controls.
Believing that the nato will not attack russia (eventually) is foolish. All history of a bully tells us that a bully will do exactly that (after all his other routes are exchausted).
So either the bully dies out,, etc. Or he will almost guaranteed to eventually increase the step to such actions.
The west has attacked Russia on several occasions through history.
But this time they will probably start with:
1. Arm and train ukraine to the teeth.
2. Massive false flags in ukraine.
3. Destabilize and coups in most of Russias neighbour countries.
4. Nato will invade westukraine.
5. Fund groups from destabilized neighbour countries, to attack proxywar into russia (like the trigger that got russia to invade afghanistan).
6. Nato full-on attack on Russia.
I think these steps is more or less how they will escelate step by step. Without details.
At same time they will continue with the sanctions etc.
Russia already has a diversified industrial economy, as well as being an agricultural super power. It will of course continue to diversify but it already has a lot of high tech industry, and the investment funds to continue to develop new technologies. It may now feel it necessary to rebuild Ukraine, but that will slow down its own increasing prosperity.
I cannot understand why Russia doesn’t just turn off the gas to so-called “unfriendly” countries that are unwilling to pay for gas in rubles and are supply weapons to Ukraine to kill Russian soldiers. Why supply them with the energy necessary to sustain their economies, standard of living, and produce more weapons for Ukraine??????
Because Russian energy exports to Europe pull in a billion euros each day for Russia.
1,000,000,000 euro at the current exchange rate ~ 92,170,000,000 rubles *each day*. This allows them to drain the economic resources out of Europe and *into Russia*. This latter point is pertinent.
Not to be the guy who posts Art of War excerpts out of context, but I’ve posted a pertinent meditation from Book 2 at the end of this comment.
It’s a very smart move by Russia: they drain economic resources out of Europe and into their own coffers, while simultaneously getting the West to deplete their military stockpiles into Ukraine, where they can be legally targeted.
Art of War:
9. Bring war material with you from home, but forage on the enemy. Thus the army will have food enough for its needs.
10. Poverty of the State causes an army to be maintained by contributions from a distance. Contributing to maintain an army at a distance causes the people to be impoverished.
11. On the other hand, the proximity of an army causes prices to go up; and high prices cause the people’s substance to be drained away.
12. When their substance is drained away, the peasantry will be afflicted by heavy exactions.
13,14. With this loss of substance and exhaustion of strength, the homes of the people will be stripped bare, and three-tenths of their income will be dissipated; while government expenses for [military equipment], will amount to four-tenths of its total revenue.
15. Hence a wise general makes a point of foraging on the enemy. One cartload of the enemy’s provisions is equivalent to twenty of one’s own, and likewise a single [pound] of his [soldier’s rations] is equivalent to twenty from one’s own store.
Because then the economic calamity is Russia’s fault. Everybody knows Putin holds that ace of spades as a trump card. Never interrupt your opponent shooting himself in the foot. Also, the real information war is in the global south where they see Russia continuing to fulfill contracts even now. It’s obvious to compare that behavior to the US seizing reserves. Ukraine is tactical. The operational context is much larger and the strategic context has little to do with europe.
Or maybe it’s just that Putin is a humanist and knows that turning off the gas is equivalent to carpet bombing cities and civilians. And the “best case” result of that is Europe descending into anarchy on Russia’s doorstep.
The EU have said they will no longer require Russian energy imports by 2024.
Therefore, Russia could react, not act, by reducing energy supplies to the EU by 4pc per month from now, equating to zero in 2: years time.
Always a pleasure to listen to Lavrov’s comments.
“It doesn’t have to be solid intelligence when we talk about it,” a U.S. official said. “It’s more important to get out ahead of them — Putin specifically — before they do something.

Any comments on this joke?
This is the problem outside of the conflict in Ukraine. How does Russia plan go about restoring sensibility into these imbeciles masquerading as leaders of the EU/UK/USA?
Russia’s old diplomacy and partners speak dors not work with the real Nazis of the world. Does Russia plan to cut off its exports completely without having to fire any shots… and let Europe freeze and see its economy tank? Will this be its biggest weapon, is this essentially what Lavrov is hinting?
I think for Russia is better not to cut export immediately, and that is the reason that they don’t cut.
The Russian economy needs time to adapt to the new situation, and continue selling energy during some months help.
For the west is different, they shout and pretend,
but the reality is that the energy they will buy to EEUU will be more expensive and their industry will suffer. It is not a question of adaptation, it is what it is.
European Union will decide by themselves to cut energy, or maybe not, and then Russia will be better prepared than now.
Both the US and Russia have interest in collapsing the EU economy and Eurolemmings’ comfort :
– US : collapse the EU oil consumption (maintaining world oil prices affordable for another decade)
– Russia : destroy EU attractiveness for Ukrainians, Hungarians, Serbs, etc. Become an immigration country for EU skilled youngs
Price of such a deal? NATO back to 1997. Oil and gas in USD.
Well I wonder how Putin meetiing Austrian Chancellor today willl go…he wants to advise him of the reality outside his little word of Moscow apparently….ye gods the utter hubris from an ex nazi country apparently neutral advising Pres Putin about the Ukraine that will not accept neutrality as an option so thst his country suffers….and everyone else beibg suckered into the situation.I know what I would say.
He’s probably there, to beg for a deal concerning “6 foreign languages” in Mariupol. lol.
Maybe even some yodel talents from Austria in there, too?
Wouldn’t be the first time, the “neutral” nation has some boots in NATO-matters, i. e. special forces in Afghanistan.
Regarding Josep Borrell
“When a diplomatic chief … says a certain conflict can only be resolved through military action…
So he agrees with the Russians to have intervened in Ukraine !
@ jean passant
Very perceptive mot d’esprit, merci!
@ Amarynth
Thanks, Amarynth.
Look forward to the video. Now is open war, and we know where we stand vis-a-vis the rotten West. Russia will now “own” Ukraine, get it back into the fold, for the next thousand years. The corrupt West is now getting rid of their obsolete junk, throwing it into 404, MIC laughing all the way to the bank, while Ukrainians will be dying by self-exploding Javelin.
We are living in interesting times.
Long live Mother Russia!
Lone Wolf
Thank you Saker.
Reading Lavrov full and complete statements are illuminating and signal the Russian leadership won’t-get-fooled-again.
The Lavrov interview with Belgrade that was published last week on Saker is a must read for anyone wanting to understand why
Insanity – utter insanity – the collective West like junior high bullies gathering up to administer a beatdown on a single nation. Do they have any idea what they are asking for? Hopefully Russia and NATO will not come to blows, but Russia will need to secure the Ukranian-Polish/Hungarian/Romanian/Slovakian border, and that means a march to the West right up to it. There is no way Russia should permit a Bandasteran on its West flank.
I saw this article in the China Global Times: https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202204/1258955.shtml
Highly recommend a full read. From link:
“The US prides itself on being the “city upon the hill” and a “beacon of democracy.” However, the history of the US was full of wars and killing. During its over 240 years of history, there were only 16 years when the US was not at war.
After the end of WWII, the US became the most powerful country in the world, however, war became an important tool for the US to maintain its own hegemony.
Data shows that from the end of WWII to 2001, the US initiated 201 of the 248 armed conflicts worldwide in 153 locations, accounting for over 80 percent of total conflicts.
The Korean War (1950-53), for example, resulted in the deaths of more than 3 million civilians and created approximately 3 million refugees, and almost all major cities in the Korean Peninsula were left in ruins.
However, the US evidently lacked self-reflection after the Korean War. Immediately after the end of the Korean War, the US intervened in Vietnam in the 1950s under the pretext of preventing the expansion of Communism in Southeast Asia. During the Vietnam War, the brutality of the US army made the war the longest and most brutal war since WWII.
The Vietnamese government estimates that as many as 2 million civilians died in the war, many of whom were slaughtered by US forces in the name of fighting Viet Cong communists.
In March 1999, under the banner of “avoiding humanitarian disaster,” NATO forces led by the US openly bypassed the UN Security Council and carried out the bombing of Yugoslavia for 78 days, causing death of many innocent civilians.
After the September 11 attacks in 2001, the US first invaded Afghanistan in the name of fighting Al Qaeda and the Taliban and then launched a war in Iraq under trumped-up charges.
Over the years, the US instigated the “Arab Spring,” igniting civil wars in Libya and Syria.
Since 2001, wars and military operations by the US have claimed more than 800,000 lives and displaced tens of millions of people.
“We inflated the stature of our enemies to match our need for retribution. We launched hubristic wars to remake the world and let ourselves be remade instead…We midwifed worse terrorists than those we set out to fight,” New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg wrote in September 2021, on the eve of the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Exporting ‘democracy’
Former US president Jimmy Carter once said that the US is “the most warlike nation in the history of the world” due to a desire to impose American values on other countries.
The Cold War was, to some extent, a global confrontation born of ideological opposition. In this process, the US established its own discourse system and promoted a so-called “liberal democracy,” which was the foundation of its cultural hegemony.
In his book, America’s Deadliest Export: Democracy, the Truth About US Foreign Policy, and Everything Else, American diplomat William Blumm reveals the close connection between America’s foreign expansion and its “democracy export.”
Between 1947 and 1989, the US carried out 64 covert operations of subversion and six overt ones, wrote Lindsey O’Rourke, a political scientist at Boston College, in her book Covert Regime Change: America’s Secret Cold War. Costa Rica, Guatemala, Ecuador, Bolivia, El Salvador, Grenada, Honduras, Panama, Haiti, Venezuela…Of all America’s Latin American neighbors, there were few who have not faced meddling from the US.
After the end of the Cold War, the US became more unscrupulous in promoting interventionism and frequently exported “color revolutions.”
A US Congressional investigation in 1976 revealed that nearly 50 percent of the 700 grants in the field of international activities by the principal foundations were funded by the CIA, Frances Stonor Saunders wrote in the book Who Paid the Piper? The CIA and the Cultural Cold War.
These foundations support elites and students from other countries to study in the US and select and support “opinion leaders” who serve the interests of the US.
The US has also long linked economic aid to the “democratic revolution” and put pressure on some developing countries through its leading international financial institutions.”
Special Financial Operation
Definalization and deoligarchization.
( If wrong, correct me here and below. )
The task which Lavrov mentions is not possible to achieve without SFO and total reorientation of Russia to new economic system similar to China or USSR. Perhaps some brains in Russian government are not ready for this.
a. Definalization means restructuring to forbid any way for speculation and forbidding making profit on money operations.
b. Deoligarization means removing oligarchs from control of finances and economy. a implies b.
Additionally, b needs “police” control of financial operations.
1) We don’t see any signs of SFO. Selling gas for rubles? It can be only a start. And this start stops short: there is no need for dollars, so Russia must sale everything for rubles now. But government does not do this and paves the road for bank speculators and continued money outflow abroad.
In short: Sergey Yurievich Glazyev: [3] “…fix the foreign exchange share of banks and introduce the sale of foreign currency for non-trading operations, freely convertible foreign exchange market only for trading operations. That’s all. This can be written in 15 minutes and announced within a day, introduced within three days – and the ruble will stabilize…”
But Russian finance oligarch will never allow doing this.
Glaziev: [3] “… in our country, the weakest point of the entire national security system in general is the Central Bank. His leadership is hit by the enemy’s cognitoweapon, in other words, zombified by it. In fact, our monetary authorities are doing what the enemy needs…”
Some details of situation and solution are in this Glazyev interview: [2].
2) Today’s banks behavior indicates the failure (or illiteracy) of Russian government. Indeed, dollar is broke, but banks buy dollars. Look at the picture. Are they mad?
https://www.banki.ru/products/currency/usd/
Why the offer 4,5,7% interest?
https://www.sravni.ru/vklady/v-dollarakh-ssha/moskva/
Who will buy dollars later on and pay interest? Apparently, there are some offshore or hidden channels for doing this. Or banks know that they will influence Central Bank to manipulate currency in their favor? Or perhaps they count on never paying this interest? Or there are hedge funds short-term market-back-door speculations as a tool of the West to suck the money as Glazyev said?
Or, most likely, they, Sberbank for example, are sure that in any outcome they will have a profit on 4% or 7% lending after a half or two years. This means they are confident to keep control on financial system to force the dollar “to exist” for 2 years to be able to extract profit from it.
3) Look at these poor people at ATMs buying dollars in video [2]. They are not stupid. They were ripped off from their wealth and savings innumerable times in the recent 30 years. They simply don’t know what to do. “Dollar is dead. God save the Dollar.” They don’t trust bunks, don’t trust government, don’t trust ruble. But they have no choice and clue. How people can believe to have 7% interest?
4) It is both government’s cognitive dependence on IMF and comprador financial lobby.
On top of this, there are no scientists in government. The scientists are mortal enemies of bureaucrats.
5) and all of above fits a broader Rus. gov. problem pointed by Ramin Mazaheri:
/the-russian-denazification-pr-disaster-how-why-and-what-to-do/
“…Putin is essentially saying that he wants Russia to take the Iranian road of taking total sanctions war head-on, but … without the influence of 1917? It won’t work. …
What Russia is proposing in response to the Western counter-attack is truly radical for them in the sense that it is a total overturning of the economic and political choices of Western Liberal Democracy, and thus of many Russian choices post-1991. I don’t think Russia realizes how radical what they are proposing to do in response to sanctions really is, and how much it requires a complete rethink in political terms and interpretations of history – is Putin willing to embrace the USSR’s political and economic past? …”
6) and finally details:
a. stopping DPR and LPR advance in 2014 was a Russian gov. error. The counter arguments are:
A) possible attack from NATO is illogical. NATO does not attack by the reason. NATO attacks whenever it feels possible and without the reason. Dismissing this argument, as often heard in this BLOG, as “amateur laptop warrior opinion” does not have relation to logic, this is just an emotion.
A’) Russia was not ready and was not able to fight an entire NATO. This is the same fallacy as A). NATO did not plan to fight. If it would do, it began to fight even before Maidan disregarding Russian actions.
B) An argument as they don’t have proper ethnic ratio should prevent also a military help which was not stopped. Why not to stop covert military aid, but prevent an advancing and fixing rep. boundaries?
C) The argument of lack of “legal base” is shaky: the republics had referendums.
D) The situation was more complex and gov. knew more than we, ordinary people. This is why advance was stopped. So what they knew? Is it permissible to know now, 8 years after?
b. even now when this error (a) became even more clear, people still cannot admit this error.
c. perhaps, the cause of error was still some delusion in minds of the R. gov.,
d. so the point is as of today: Rus. gov repeats the same errors, but now in financial area,
coming months will show.
f. and other big error of R. gov. that negotiations US/Russia, US/Ukraine go on closed doors. What do they have to hide from Russian or American people? From the people who support government.
Does the gov. need their support at all?
I missed references. Here they are.

Thanks Bitlab. Your wide ranging observations are very valuable to see and understand the big picture and your remarks about 2014 also very pertinent. The Pentagon has game-played in many simulations that NATO would lose in a confrontation with Russia, hence the expansion to Russian borders and dual-function missile sites for the kill, i. e. a first and decisive strike to prostrate Russia. It was inevitable had the Kremlin persisted in its “accommodation” with the Hegemon (unwittingly, I had written “Hedgemen”, the financial vultures!).
Lavrov is opening the path for a direct military conflict between Russia and the collective west.
Sweden and Finland’s flirtations with joining Nato are insane. This is beginning to have an eerie feel of the days leading up to WWI–egregious miscalculations by the big powers, entangling alliances, bravado and hubris, absent negotiations, populations sitting at home egging on war yet convinced nothing will touch them personally.
What is wrong with people? Ukraine is going to become the reason the world explodes?
Who was it who said history repeats itself, the second time as farce?
I agree – Sweden and Finland logically should stay out of it. Like Hungary, they should adopt the statement “this is not our fight.” But instead, their ruling elites seem to want to jump on the “bully Russia” bandwagon, as though that is enough to deter Russia from continuing to establish its security parameter as it sees fit. Very sad and troubling….
Over on Moon of Alabama (https://www.moonofalabama.org/2022/04/sane-voices-explaining-the-reasons-for-and-dangers-behind-the-war-in-ukraine.html#more), there was a statement by Scott Ritter that gives one hope.
From link:
“Towards the end of a talk with Gonzalo Lira former Marine officer and UN Inspector Scott Ritter disputes the potential for escalation. The Pentagon, he says, knows the real situation on the ground and that the Ukrainian army will lose the war. Neither NATO, nor the U.S. nor single countries like Poland have their forces configured in a way that would allow them to successfully wage war against Russia. They would need more time to get ready than Russia will need to win the war in Ukraine.
Ritter predicts that the Pentagon will overrule any escalation the Ukraine warmongers in the State Department and National Security Council may plan and that those responsible for the current mess, Victoria Nuland, Anthony Blinken and Jake Sullivan, will get silenced or removed after the midterms.”
I believe Saker posted this entire discussion on the website.

It’s down to Russia to hold as the last bastion of the sensible west, the rest has completely lost their minds and sovereignty
Sergey Lavrov is the last outpost on the border. If you pass him by, you are left in the desert, the wilderness of the Empire’s Lies.
Lavrov’s words are the hardened steel of historic truth. They cut through the leathery shields the West constructs to deflect the reality of the situation.
When he is silent, the void is filled with Shoigu’s and Gerasimov’s missile messaging.
Big change in Russia’s policy goals as announced by Lavrov:
“Our special military operation is designed to put an end to the reckless expansion and course towards the complete domination of the United States and the rest of NATO countries in the international arena. It is being built with a gross violation of international law according to certain “rules”, which they are only now talking about.”
Welcome to the Second Great Patriotic War. And yes, China is onside as this goal was vowed by both nations in their February 4th Joint Declaration.
Just from those few quotes I can feel the deep frustration of Lavrov, a man of diplomacy, as he deals with countries that won’t compromise at all. The Western elites are now thugs of some sort who normally use intimidation to reach theit goals. Sanctions is what they call diplomacy. Many people here have concluded that the time of negotiations is over, but Lavrov still has hopes for a miracle.
Using a historical reference to Genghi Khan, Genghis Khan suffered from the rejection of the leaders of the neighboring tribes and he had to fight them all since all showed such duplicity against him. The NATO coutries, Europe and their leader the US show a similfar level of duplicity as the tribes Genghis Khan finally had to face. Putin is a bit old now to be a new Ghengis Khan but maybe someone will raise to the task in Russia.
“Western propaganda shifted gear into depicting Russia as pure evil and [Ukraine] as pure good. …”–Lavrov
This is exactly what I have been thinking. And it’s all propaganda/PsyOps. I ponder why people don’t see through it all–it takes more intellectual energy than most people have, I guess. And once an opinion is formed, it’s very hard for a person to change that opinion. Best not to form an opinion until all the evidence is heard.
It seems Russia caught a big fish recently, no wonder the Americans were trying to reach Putin by phone.
NOW CONFIRMED: U.S Major General Roger L. Cloutier was captured by Russia while trying to flee Mariupol after giving military
direction to Ukrainian and mercenary forces.
It is not rumor anymore. It is bad. An overt act of war the United States expected to get
away with. Here is how he got caught, based on a summary of previous reports posted here.
Russian forces cut off all ground escape routes which “trapped the high command of Ukranian forces”, which ended up not being
Ukranian at all. The West was commanding the Ukraine war for most likely most of it. To avoid being caught, Western forces then attempted to clear their people via helicopter. Russia did a good job of shooting down helicopters. As the Russians advanced, military leaders from several countries, fed
by American intelligence, sought refuge in a steel mill that American intelligence knew
Russia wanted to avoid destroying at all cost. The steel mill was an excellent place to fight from which was a bonus, it was very easy to
defend.
The American and Western forces kept sending helicopters only to have them shot down before reaching the steel mill. Then the
Russians changed tactics. The tactical change was to allow the helicopters to reach the steel mill and land in open areas on the steel mill grounds, and then shoot them
down when they tried to leave. They allowed, over time, 8 to land and pick up people from inside the steel mill. 2 of them got away, but
in one of the six they shot down they found General Cloutier.
THAT IS BAD NEWS, because it proved beyond a doubt that the U.S. really was fighting the Ukraine war, on Ukranian soil. Russia can rightfully do whatever it wants to
retaliate now.

If its true we need to see that rat on TV in Russian custody, otherwise they will just deny it,they need exposing to daylight like the roaches they are.
@ Sajjid
I’d need more than a small town newspaper to verify the news.
So far, we have rumors, nothing confirmed with certainty.
Let’s just wait until solid news on the issue come out.

I posted that link coz it came directly from the horse’s mouth, I don’t trust the western media but maybe they’re preparing the world for the inevitable. Like confirming his arrest by Russian troops
Not to doubt your source (as the news is expected), but I’ll await confirmation from RT/Sputnik/Tass/Pravda.
If true, this certainly should be publicly waved in front of the world media as proof that the USA truly is an Empire of Lies.
@ The Kansan
Even those sources you mentioned are unreliable, with the exception of TASS.
To be sure with certainty, I’d wait for a report from the RF Ministry of Defense.
Konashenkov has been silent abouth this event.

I am recalling the radio confessions and broadcasts that the most brave and loyal McCain (aka songbird) made from Hanoi…when I hear the esteemed General spouting his confessions on the radio we’ll know.
Russia was given a wonderful gift of propaganda with the frail elderly pro-Russian Ukrainian grandmother waving the Red Victory Banner flag. The image is all over the Russian channels and media. This latest post is condemning a 5th column Russian musician and comparing him to the grandmother:
On one pan of the scales, the frightened patriot Vanya Urgant, Andryusha Makarevich, who declared that it was “Russia left you assholes”, Roizman with his zigging friend from Ukraine Reznichenko, Renata Litvinova, who is in Paris, but “dreams of a home” and many, many other. Frightened, crap, just openly betrayed. Many of which, a little more than a month ago, were running on TV and Instagram, on the air of fashionable “elite” radio stations and taught us how to live in their personal blogs.
And on the other – a grandmother, from somewhere in Ukraine with the Red Banner of Victory. Having lived a hard life, probably working hard all the time to feed her family and raise her children, a slightly hunched, little grandmother. Who kept the sacred Red Banner at home all her life, under which her parents defeated the greatest evil in the history of mankind. A grandmother who did not take food from the hands of a healthy young bastard who trampled with his feet what twenty-seven million Soviet people gave their lives for. Grandmother, who was not afraid of this bastard.
And it seems to me that any healthy person understands which scales outweigh. This grandmother with the Red Flag is all of us. Our history, our memory, millions of our ancestors, our blood and truth.
And against it – a weightless, but very beautiful and bright lie. Empty and rotten.
We must win. In the name of this grandmother, who holds the Red Banner in her hands. Holds proudly and bravely, not afraid of the filth equipped and armed to the teeth.
Sergei Lavrov is a person to be proud of in every way. Speaking out so forcefully and truthfully is essential for the blowing away of so much invented accusations accepted at once by the “West” if they are against Russia (or Serbia, or “shaky allies ” like Biden’s India) but never investigated or even allowed to be rebutted by the accused. “Rule of law”!!!!!Washington rules, accepted by its lackeys, regardlaess of the harm they cause even to “friends” like the EU. I can hardly believe as I live in a quiet area of SW France, every person is “standing with Ukraine”, collecting food and money, offering housing to the “refugees”, while Boris Johnson walks calmly along in downtown Kiev with the star of the whole production, with no sign of the alleged destruction, dead bodies, lack of food, electricity etc which we are told are the fate of every possible target of the evil Russian invasion.
The photo of the President of a Great Power, posed on the steps with sandbags (of sugar) as the setting of his dangerous excursion into the capital of the world, with adoring professional team from his entourage ensuring the stern face to the world, as he prepares to ensure the death of large numbers of “his people” by following the order of UK PM Boris , never to give in to the Russian demands. The end is near.
The more this war/Special Military Operation goes on, the more I realise the EU projects its own problems onto the rest of the world by calling them “global crises.”
*Europeans claim the world is over-populated, but how many European countries are self-sufficient in food? If anything, it is the UK, Spain, France, and Germany that are over-populated!
*Europeans continue to whine about lack of resources, yet it is European industries that are proving they cannot survive without cheap raw materials. While Europeans often take credit for the first industrial revolution, that was only made possible by plundering natural resources from their colonies in Africa and the Americas.
*Europeans complain about human rights violations, yet they forget what they have been doing to the rest of the world for 400+ years; only now they are learning from the migrants they themselves used against “Untermenchen.”
Of course Europeans are acting hysterically, because they have run out of tricks to sustain their standard of living on the cheap. But Russia must still act with some caution, as 450+ million empty stomachs can push people to do crazy things.
As for England’s industrial revolution, an Indian man has posted talks on YouTube about India’s past. He says that India was a very rich (very poor now) country when England conquered it. India had advanced textile and metal-working skills then. The English learned those skills and took them to England. Then they forbade Indians to use them, but only to produce raw materials for the British and buy finished goods made in England.

This EU has also its own imperial agenda.
It is simply not right, to hold Washington’s guiding hand exclusively responsible here …
If zelstein does not agree to Russia’s terms, and soon, we are definitely looking at ukraine being either chopped into two, or a significant part of it will be annexed back to Russia.
What is playing out in Ukraine is a monumental struggle between the Western-led “rules-based order” and its alternative, the Russia/China-led “Multipolar law-based order”. The problem is, they are are two sides of the same coin. Both are leading the world into an age of technocracy. The whole Covid scamdemic revealed a strikingly uniform response worldwide – governments, whether in the west or in Russia and China, assuming even more power and control over the lives of individuals, under the guise (of course) of “keeping us safe” – from a man-made virus that was designed and released in a collaborative effort between America and China. Note the worldwide attempts to make the “vaccinations” with Big Pharma’s experimental gene therapy concoctions mandatory, the push for “vaccine passports”, digital IDs, the desire to move to digital currencies so that if you step out of line and your “social credit score” drops, the government cuts your access to the banking system – which we saw in a sort of trial run with Trudeau using emergency powers to freeze the trucker’s out of the banking system (see footnote).
The war in Ukraine is over a lot more than the fate of Ukraine, which the west could not care less about. Indeed, the sanctions being levied against Russia aren’t really hurting Russia, but the resultant rise in the cost of food and fuel and the loss of Russian/Ukrainian wheat and fertilizer exports will result in the death by starvation of untold millions in the third world. The war in Ukraine is about which flavor of technocracy and effective global governance will dominate. It is all about thinning the herd of those people that the Transnational Capitalist Class considers dead weight and controlling/exploiting the remaining serfs with a technological overlay on all societies that will turn nation-states into effective population containment zones. Unless we wake up and fight back, we will all become just like the Palestinians in Gaza, living in what Noam Chomsky calls “the world’s largest open-air prison”.
Footnote: This had an interesting and unforeseen effect: People who were not involved in the protests began to withdraw their money form the banking system out of fear that they might be next, for whatever arbitrary reason the government might give. The banks noticed this and rather than have a full-blown run on the banking system the experiment was halted. We are seeing a similar effect with Washington’s attempt to freeze Russia out of the banking system: Other countries are taking note and deciding that maybe holding dollars isn’t a good idea. This will lead to the collapse of the dollar as the world’s reserve currency – thus, the massive anti-Russian propaganda campaign in the west that attempts to blame inflation and food shortages on Russia, rather than it being the inevitable consequence of decades of systematic looting of the west by the psychopathic monumental thieves who run the banks and multinational corporations that already constitute a global government.
Mr Lavrov is basically saying: Russia’s special operation is designed to liberate the whole Third World from imperialist exploitation.
This is a historic time! Let’s hope that the peoples of the Third World understand this astonishing declaration and start to take position to defend their interests. Imperialist covert infiltration and control by corrupting politicians and military has already resulted in millions of deaths from internal conflicts, violence, unemployment, poverty, famine, disease, etc..
Thank you again Amarynth! Many thanks to all of you here as well! Mr Lavrov is indeed the one true statesman of our century…
Five EU revised stages of grief are now:
denial
anger
bargaining
depression

I really do think that the USA Empire is close to collapse therefore I don’t understand how it was able to easily orchestrate a “regime change” in Pakistan.
There are enough people falling over each other to show their servitude to USA
What makes you think Khan being thrown out is handiwork of the Empire? Nothing says so, other than Khan himself
For all it could be the Saudi’s expressing their displeasure with him, from his OIS summit to other things trying to usurp the moral authority over SA. SA cannot touch Turkey but sure can Pakistan
Watch where Bajwa travels next. Watch if Nawaz Sherif is back in Pakistan. This will show it’s handiwork of Saudis not USA
Please someone replace Peskov with Lavrov. This is the guy we need representing Russia
Oh please.
Everyone seems to have joined the ‘dump Peskov’ bandwagon. Peskov is just Vladimir Putin’s spokesman. He’s not as combative as Maria Zakharova, but like her he’s just a civil servant. He’s not a member of Mikhail Mishustin’s cabinet. He doesn’t make policy.
As spokesman, he was merely echoing Vladimir Putin’s stance; and rightly so, since we can’t have an official spokesman confusing matters by talking from the top of his head. Every point he makes has been cleared with his boss, Putin.
In the Sky interview he expressed regret at the losses suffered by RF military. He based his reply on RF MoD figures — perhaps the 1,351 Russian servicemen killed and 3,825 wounded in the MoD public statement in late March, perhaps the latest figures (which would certainly be higher) — and described them as significant and a tragedy. That’s probably how Putin sees the losses even if it was ‘only’ 5,000 killed and wounded; or even a just a hundred. It is subtle but revealing — it just goes to show that the Kremlin is reluctant to start wars and does not take military actions lightly; and the accompanying loss of lives callously.
If the AngloZionists play with psychological warfare.

Hit it hard and shake the foundations
Lavrov is in a class of his own. Aloof from his peers.
A country on Russia’s border that joins NATO is de facto declaring war on Russia. NATO is weaponized for the destruction of any sovereign power that threatens zioanglo global fascist hegemony. Any national leader that says they are joining NATO to be safe from Russia is either disingenuous or a fool. This is all made worse by these nations supporting Ukraine with weapons and severe propaganda lies. Ukraine has been groomed as a platform from which to disassemble Russia and these nations are now complicit in that. There will be consequences and I cannot see how these consequences will not eventuate in all out thermonuclear war. The West, captured by Zionist banksters, has embarked on the slippery slope of a game of double down chicken from which I don’t see a way back, and Russia doesn’t play around, they are already on nuclear alert. WWIII is already here, this is not a cold war, it’s a very warm war that is steadily and rapidly evolving towards a white hot war.
With most of the Russian forces in Ukraine, this is a perfect time for Finland to liberate their old lands in Karelia
Lavrov never makes mistakes in words. But I would caution any who thinks he means that Russia will fight the US everywhere or push into NATO nations. It’s part of the Sino-Russian program to offer an alternative to the US. Russia wins by NATO not inserting forces into Ukraine because it shows that the US won’t put it’s people on the line in numbers. It is not a call to war against the empire everywhere, rather setting an example that nobody has to bow down as well as showing that the us will abandon you.
I’ve long noticed that when Russia speaks of the fatherland it is usually a rational statement. If Russians start appealing to Mother Russia you had better get out of the way. The great monuments to mother Russia are stylized. Better to think of her as a babushka, like babushka Z. The fatherland speaks of the depths of the Russian mind. Mother Russia speaks to the depth of the Russian soul.
I ve said it before, but i will say it again!

but good luck mentioning it to the millions europeans beeing feed propaganda 24 7.
We are supposed to be perfidious Albion. I keep hoping for an abrupt pivot towards being friendly towards Russia…
Thanks for this Amarynth.
…put an end to the reckless expansion and reckless course towards complete domination by the United States and, under them, the remainder of Western countries on the world stage.…
Sergei Lavrov can’t put it any clearer than this to the hegemon — ‘your days of being the unipolar pole of world order are over. We are moving to a multipolar world order.’ Full stop.
Syria was just the initial move, a sizing-up moment, but Russia has really thrown the gauntlet in the Ukraine.
Right now the hegemon is attacking Russia’s instruments of national power — economic (ubiquitous sanctions), diplomatic, psychological, social, military (via proxy). Thus far Russia has withstood the initial contest and seems to be just fine. Just as Russia sees the SMO and events on its west as being parts of an existential battle, the US sees this as being existential too — to its hegemony.
The operation in the Ukraine is only the first duel. There are many more duels to come. The US is going to fight harder and dirtier in order to preserve its position as the hegemon, and things are going to get a lot uglier.
“Our special military operation is designed to put an end to the reckless expansion and reckless course towards complete domination by the United States and, under them, the remainder of Western countries on the world stage.
“This domination is built on gross violations of international law and under some rules, which they are now hyping so much and which they make up on a case-by-case basis,..”
By doing what! Some weeks ago, he said that the SMO had nothing to do with Ukraine alone, and that he had said this more than once before. Today he is consistent with that – but he ought to know that it contradicts “demilitarization” and “denazification” as mentioned by Putin and military spokesmen. Unless it’s a studied, approved way of messaging to just create uncertainty, I am disappointed by such open-ended statements that nobody knows what they mean exactly. Let’s see what it could mean based on what he says and doesn’t say, the latter being most conspicuous: These are the words of someone who already left Ukraine and went into NATO territory, but this has not happened, so is that what will happen? No worries, when someone speaks like that, you just don’t know. He contradicts what the others say and that’s all. It’s unfortunate that nobody presses him with the question – “what do you mean?”
It’s more than two times now that he speaks like this without going anywhere with his words, correct? Russia is in Ukraine, period. That’s all we still know after listening to his categorical statements that beg for more definitions. Somebody should also ask him, “Why does your explanation contradict the other explanations repeatedly?” (As a newspaper reader, I don’t like it.)
Arnab (Arnab Goswami) is a dimwit. He thinks he is intelligent, but sadly, he is not. He is watched by people as a ‘time-pass.’
”Burrell, something personal” Yes I am surprised by the stupidity and incompetence of a number of ’diplomats’ like Ursula van det L, Analena B, Liss Truss, Burrell,Blinken, to name a few. My conclusion is that they are chosen based on their russophobia not competence.
Give the devil its due, Victoria Nuland told everyone what the US is going to do: “fuck the EU”. And that’s precisly what Washington has done. The EU is fucked.
The Special Communications of the Special Military Operation:
Putin today:
“President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia said on Tuesday that the “main goal” of the war in Ukraine was “to help people” in the country’s east…” – NYT. Putin has said it more than once.
Lavrov:
“Our special military operation is designed to put an end to the reckless expansion and reckless course towards complete domination by the United States and, under them, the remainder of Western countries on the world stage.” He too more than once, his line always.
It may be like someone dropping all the pieces of the puzzle on the board to put them together, and so the first piece we see in place is the Putin piece. The Lavrov piece would be the last one. Putin likes what Lavrov says and Lavrov likes what Putin says too, right? I think so. Lavrov had to hear his text from Putin himself. Both disparate messages are meaningful. The meaning is to be figured out. Is it as above, or is Lavrov pushing another agenda on his own? It’s more likely that it’s all the pieces being dropped on the board at the same time. I think the only way that the West has available to, you know, throw this puzzle out the window, is “negotiations” right away, where an outcome that is more beneficial for both is achieved. I wrote one comment about this under Mr. Pepe Escobar’s latest article.
