Iraqis have rallied in Baghdad in massive numbers to call for an end to US military presence in the country following high-profile assassinations and airstrikes targeting anti-terror forces.
Sayed Sadiq al-Hashemi, the director of the Iraqi Center for Studies, said more than 2.5 million took part in the demonstrations on Friday.
Since the early hours on Friday, huge crowds of men, women and children of all ages converged on the Jadriyah neighborhood near Baghdad University.
The protesters were seen carrying banners and chanting slogans calling for the expulsion of US forces.
“Get out, get out, occupier!” some shouted, while others chanted, “Yes to sovereignty!”
The massive rally came after influential cleric Muqtada al-Sadr called on Iraqis to stage “a million-strong, peaceful, unified demonstration to condemn the American presence and its violations”.
Sadr issued a statement on Friday calling for US bases to be shut down and Iraqi airspace closed to US warplanes and surveillance aircraft.
SITREP: Iraq’s million-man march against US occupation, and Pentagon admits to 34 injuries from Iran strike
He warned that US presence in the country will be dealt with as an occupying force if Washington does not agree with Iraqi demands to withdraw for the country.
In a message delivered through a representative at Friday prayer in the holy city of Karbala, top cleric Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani also urged Iraqi political groups to do what is needed to the safeguard the country’s sovereignty.
He called on Iraqi groups to stand united, far from any foreign influence in countering the dangers which threaten the country.
On Thursday ahead of the planned rallies, Sadr called on Iraqis to mobilize and defend the country’s independence and sovereignty.
“Oh women, men and youth of the country, the time is now upon us to defend the country, its sovereignty and dependence,” Sadr said in a tweet.
“Spread the word of an independent future Iraq that will be ruled by the righteous; an Iraq which will not know of corruption nor aggression” he added, calling on Iraqis to expel the “tyrants”.
Various Iraqi resistance groups affiliated with the country’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) have also backed the anti-American rally. While no official number has been released, the march itself is likely one of the largest in the history of Iraq.

More ‘concussions’ are confirmed by the US
The Pentagon has said that dozens of US troops were wounded in an Iranian retaliatory missile attack earlier this month despite Washington’s initial claim denying casualties.
The Pentagon said on Friday 34 service members have been diagnosed with traumatic brain injury following the Iran strike on January 8. They suffered concussions.
“Thirty-four total members have been diagnosed with concussions and TBI (traumatic brain injury),” Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman told reporters a press conference at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.
Hoffman said that the eight injured troops who had been previously transported to Germany had been moved to the United States, but nine of them still remain there.
“They will continue to receive treatment in the United States, either at Walter Reed (a military hospital near Washington) or at their home bases,” he said.
The nine other victims “are still undergoing evaluation and treatment there (in Germany),” he added.

AP and the BBC lied about the numbers, saying only a few hundred showed up! No wonder people have stopped believing the so-called MSM.
Even zerohedge saying thousands… and lamenting about Poland not showing enough remorse and obedience over and to the Jewish people.
Besides, it seems Fars news agency thre IRGC affiliated agency has been shut off from the net.
War is brewing.
Let s see what Trump has to say tuesday about deal of the century. That might be a turning point.
”A few hundred” — sure. Why can’t they just admit the truly formidable turnout and then denigrate the manifestation similarly to Qassem Soleimani’s funeral in Iran where the latter’s turnout was dismissed as ”regime coercion” ?
Well, 1 million is just “a few hundred” – well, to be exact about 10,000 hundred. Language can be slippery in the hands of the elite.
Notice–a large part of the crowd was dressed or draped in white, which someone told me is a willingness of martyrdom.
Ok guys. Give the MSM a break. You know they can’t count.
” few hundred showed up… ” . What about killed who didn’t show up.
Few days after Iranian retaliatory bombings, Fars News said : ” About 2 dozens were killed… and … injured ” . Some media (sorry do not remember which one ) said : American bases of Iraq were full of israeli officers (obviously they are all “alive and in a good health” ).
Who should I believe ?- Sure not Pentagram.
A BBC report on Iraq’s million-man march is
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-51234205
Its headline is “Huge rally as Iraqis demand US troops pull out”.
A short paragraph of the report is, “Protesters started to gather in central Baghdad early on Friday, and several hours later, the area was packed with people.”
At least in this report BBC didn’t lied about the number of marchers.
AP did lie about the number in the following report, according to which “tens of thousands of Iraqis marched peacefully through Baghdad on Friday to demand the ouster of U.S. troops from their country”
https://apnews.com/c2934966e27d5188f2419054db438aac
The report contains another blatant lie:
“There were no official estimates of the turnout and organizers gave varying figures, but it clearly fell short of the ‘million-man’ march that had been called for by al-Sadr.”
So thats what an organic, real protest looks like.
(Only accustomed to seeing constructed color charades recently).
So who is going to shut down the airspace and by what agencies will the roads surrounding the foreign bases be blocked?
The whole world has mass demonstrations in many countries some of which continue for months but accomplish nothing?
The airport airspace can be severely limited with MANPADS.
The roads around the bases? IEDs, perfected in Iraqi if you recall.
Add the use of snipers, and the bases become a closet they are locked in.
But what is most likely is missiles. Works for the Houthis and it worked for Iran. Missiles are working to penetrate Israeli airspace.
And then there are the ubiquitous drones carrying munitions. The US has threatened China’s oil supply from Iraq and Iran. China makes the most diverse and inexpensive drones. I expect we will see thousands of them used to teach the Americans the hard lesson that they are hated by nearly all Iraqis.
The US is not only a slow learner, hard-headed, but delusional, and short of memory. Iraq is going to turn itself into a charnel house for Americans.
Also these drones 10-kg lift are cheap, if you get a kit, you talking about $200 for the kit for 850mm drone, and battery’s about $20, just carrying a payload of thermite, 10kg would destroy any steel building or tank, just land & ignite, it wouldn’t even take an explosion, just a small igniter to start the thermite.
A kit can be assembled by a savvy high school kid in 1/2 day, the software is self-training, just let it run in an open space 10 minutes and it will self-configure and thereafter run like a champ.
There is even free-software where the drone(s) can run in swarms all in the same mission, or configured like a matrix of separation say 10Meter’s, that way should a few get shot-down along the way, some if not most would still make the target, given a swarm if an early drone hit-target, it could report back to the swarm, which could reconfigure to a 2nd target, and a 3rd, …
…
Racing drones can be had for $50, have a lift of about 1/2 kg, which is plenty of thermite and can do +130mph
Sort of reminds me of the old ww2 japanese deal where the japs tied firebombs to bats that would ignite upon them finding a resting place, of course now are bat’s are re-configurable, smart, and adaptable
While racing-drone usually use a slower processor, and don’t require mission-plan software, the lean&mean & fast approach is often a different way to look at the problem.
…
Of course there are 2″ and smaller spy-drones that cost $10 or less, and carry a few ounces, but they typically have a battery life of 5min, or less and speeds of less than 20mph,
In the case of the small-cheap spy drones, the jap-bat incendiary makes perfect sense as a few ounces of thermite can destroy a car, or house, or bus; They’re often equipped with a camera, and can be pre-programmed to ID MIL vehicles or whatever where they would land and ignite.
…
Thermite – a mixture of aluminum powder and a metal oxide (common rust), burns at 2500C
Thermite burns when lit. Lighting it needs high current.
It’s hard to light homemade thermite, the particle size tends to be too large. And it’s hard to make it stay in one place long enough to do much damage — on top of a car, it tends to run off after merely scorching a small area. This I know from watching YouTubers try to make and use it.
But it’s worth noting, a lithium battery is essentially an incendiary device all by itself. Merely drawing too much current is enough to start a fire. Cheap Chinese drones could play a role. . some imagination required.
Its typically built with mixing a fuse like magnesium (that burns first) and a binder to solve the runaway problem. That’s the easy part. Lithium is unstable but battery is not. It’s almost impossible to lightup a well built one. How does one draw that much current? into a capacitor?
It’s all impractical anyways… It needs to generate a small explosion to light the fuse. that’s easily doable but needs control.
The battery in your laptop or cellphone has safeguards built in, to prevent too much current flowing. I have actually taken apart such batteries (by the way, it is still dangerous to drill or cut into them with a metal tool).
But the cheap Chinese drones use simple batteries, and the drone motors need a lot of juice, so they leave off the safeguards. Short one out and it will catch fire. The batteries are usually small, but of course if you are building your own, you can use whatever. The Chinese companies also sell parts, motors, blades, frames, controllers, batteries, and software is available for download.
Your suggestion of drones being used, and that they could be programmed to attack in packs reminds me of a futuristic video describing that very thing. Called “Slaughterbots”. A rather chilling look at where this tech. could potentially mature into; incorporating facial recognition to discriminate it’s target. God help us all if it comes to pass.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fa9lVwHHqg
I have seen another video, from someone in a lab/test environment with access to samples of high explosives.
The author of the video was trying to answer the question, “is 3 grams enough?” He made little charges with an indentation in one side to direct the blast. Then he aimed them at some ballistic gel models in hard shells, for a realistic simulation of the slaughterbots’ mission.
Conclusion: yes, 3 grams is more than enough.
only by direct violent actions will the US be forced to leave…..no talking ….no meetings…..the time for weak kneed bullshit is over…..run up the red flags….bring on the martyrs…..unleash the MANPADS…..
It should have happened before now, those bases should be under attack every day from rockets and snipers, every occupation patrol should come under attack, its the only language they understand.
I would think a couple of weeks of absolutely no action would have the yanks shitting themselves at the sound of crickets, they’d be so tense they’d start shooting each other.
The Iraqis have asked nicely–please leave.
The next communication with be with IEDs, rockets and RPGs, most likely.
The US Military is a very slow learner.
Generally, it takes a large death total at one time in one place to get them to go home or relocate to another country.
They want a year more in Afghanistan. They certainly want more than the year the Iraqi government is saying they have to leave. In reality, they won’t leave either nation unless they are evicted by way of explosive destruction of large numbers of US troops.
It is that way with all hegemonic, colonial or imperial powers.
Slow learners, all.
Lebanon 1983 produced certain outcomes:
“The Marines left Lebanese territory on September 10 but returned on September 29, following the massacre of Palestinian refugees by a Christian militia. The next day, the first U.S. Marine to die during the mission was killed while defusing a bomb, and on April 18, 1983, the U.S. embassy in Beirut was bombed. On October 23, Lebanese terrorists evaded security measures and drove a truck packed with explosives into the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, killing 241 U.S. military personnel. Fifty-eight French soldiers were killed almost simultaneously in a separate suicide terrorist attack. On February 7, 1984, U.S. President Ronald Reagan announced the end of U.S. participation in the peacekeeping force, and on February 26 the last U.S. Marines left Beirut.”

Those who do not learn from history are likely destined to repeat it.
What would happen if food and water were cut off?
I think that the Americans get next to no food from local sources. They aren’t trusting and have all of the money to burn and they do. I think that they even get bottled water shipped in.
perhaps someone will correct me.
Yes – but shipped in how? They must need a lot of supplies, which can arrive either by ship and then land, or by air.
The land routes could easily be made prohibitively expensive with enough IEDs, snipers, etc.
And supply by air would get tense if enough determined people with MANPADS set up shop in the neighbourhood.
Goering promised that the Luftwaffe could always supply the German army in Stalingrad, but it couldn’t.
@ Gorgeous George I don’t think it is about “not trusting or having too much money”. I’m a senior citizen living in a rural area in the mid-west state of Missouri, in the U.S., 18 miles from any of three small towns. Two of those towns have a very large grocery store/bakery and also an extremely large Wal-Mart big box store/grocery/bakery. The third town has one medium sized grocery/bakery. All three towns have a tiny “farmers market” in a parking lot one morning each week of the gardening season with maybe only six local gardeners participating and very few interested customers. Most of the agriculture here is raising cattle and chickens and corn for ethanol (fuel). Very few people here grow gardens. Shopping is so much easier. Most everyone, even farmers shop for their food rather than grow gardens. I’ve read that most of the food in the United States is transported about 1700 miles to market. All of the fresh produce in Wal-Mart comes from California, Florida, or South America. American’s are largely dependent on “JIT” (just in time) delivery trucks. If JIT delivery failed, it is estimated that food would be unavailable in stores within three days. Here in the mid-west, the percentage of obesity is very high. Junk food is a legal addiction much cheaper than other recreational drugs.
Seeing a protest this size just helps to pound in the message of what a huge strategic victory Iran just won. It’s an old principle of military scheming, going back at least to Sun Tzu, that to fracture the enemy’s alliances is better than a direct attack. And after what has happened in the Middle East over the past two weeks, America has very few allies left.
If the US were in fact quietly drawing down troop numbers from its Iraqi bases, yet claiming not to, what would be the tell-tale signs? I’m reminded of the sneaky withdrawal by Australians and New Zealanders from Gallipoli in WWI, the only successful aspect of Churchill’s debacle.

Of course, right now attention is focused on Iraq and Syria. But there are other countries in “the region”, especially the KSA, and what ultimately occurs there may be equally or more important. Perhaps Mr Saker could cast his gaze afar?
In a parallel end game in Syria, the army is poised to clean out the last remnants of NATZO terrorists holed up in their former stronghold on the border with wavering NATZO member Turkey. Report by reliable analyst Canthama BTL #307792 down to 307778:

Update by Canthama BTL 307837 SyrPer News. Clip:
“The city of Khan al Asal will be stormed soon, this is an important site were 123 SAA soldiers were murdered by Turkish backed [NATZO] terrorists with Sarin gas in March 2013.
….
One of the worst days in almost a decade for the Turkish backed [NATZO] terrorists, completely annihilated by air strikes, artillery, missiles and even ballistic missiles were used by the SAA. [NATZO] losses are mounting and ground advances [by the SAA and Allies] prove that. Moral is very high in the SAA and Allies.
Latest update by Canthama 35 minutes ago:
“‘very large cauldron is on the way between M5 and Abu Duhur, turkish backed [NATZO] al Qaeda/Muslin Brotherhood terrorists will have to choose, fight for this piece of Idlib or retreat toward the M4.
Tonight will be a hell of a ride, the collapse is huge and severe.”
Speculation BTL SyrPer #307953 on probable link between Taliban and Iran over downing of U$ spy plane in U$-occupied Afghanistan:
“There are reports (including in Canthama’s Twitter) that the US recon plane downed in Afghanistan was a top spec plane carrying high level CIA officers, including the CIA head of anti-Iran operations Michael (Dark Prince) d’Andrea …. it is more than possible that the downing was co-ordinated with the Taliban as another part of Iran’s revenge for the illegal US assassination of General Soleimani via Taliban …. ”
https://www.rt.com/news/479319-us-confirm-plane-crash-afghanistan/
This RT report of possible collusion between Iran and Afghanistan strengthens my speculation that the end-game by Allies in Syria is being coordinated with the Resistance in Iraq. “The natives are restless”, as British colonial heroes used to exclaim in GreenMantle and similar trashy Imperialist adventure stories of my boyhood.
Minor quibble: The number of Pindo mercenaries transported to Germany was eleven (not eight).
Traumatizing and stunting Iraqi children en masse for 30 long years might also involve concussions at the receiving end. To say that Iraq’s mammoth demonstrations are justified is an understatement. If Trump shows up, hopefully a shoe will hit the Baboon handsomely (failed attempt targeting George W. Bush in 2008).
Perhaps ordinary people of Iran should consider 10 million man protest march to Berlin and Paris. In protects against the illegal sanctions imposed on Iran by Western Governments. “Aluta continua” Viva to “Peaceful Resistance”
Remember how quickly the usa left Somalia?
Just drag 1 soldier through the streets.
Today, RT and Sputinik talk about over 4 million people in The March. It is a great accomplishment. I am proud of the Iraqi people!
Additionally, I would like to say that the organization is fantastic! A March like this is not an easy thing to accomplish without organization… I know as I participated in ‘Social Movements’ in Brazil in the 1980s…
Thank you, MOD!!!! I appreciate it.
The true casualties of the Iranian ballistic missile attack is beginning to surface. The US Military has had to hide them from Trump, not the public. Trump will support the Military only as long as they ‘win’.
This is why a huge Iraqi attack will finish the occupation. Trump will not abide a massive loss on his record.
And, who can he drone strike in retribution? The Iraqi PM?
Before the US brings in Patriot or Iron Dome defenses, the swarm of drones and missiles over US bases, the Green Zone, and convoys should be unleashed if the Iraqis want the US out.
The time to do it is now, the beginning of Trump’s campaign for re-election. He will then have time enough to rewrite the headlines from disaster to “the troops are coming home, just as I promised”.
He can fire a general or two, blaming CENTCOM for its failures, and he can demonize the Iraqis as “false friends”. Americans will love him for it.
… and he can get to keep their oil money hostage.
Make you wonder when Iran claimed 80 victims and that was rebuked by all sources, that they knew full well about the body’s ability to absorb such a shock and that such a shock was delivered. There could many moore who refuse to admit they were affected, but none the less will be as the clock ticks away and as does there fully functioning abilities, until one day they wonder where, why, and how it all went wrong.
So the next time the shocks are delivered the only question will be how long can the military take the hits and not be affected politically, for as we already know, the military can always willingly take the hits and then dive deeper into denial as the hole of hell grows each and everyday, ready to accept their new arrivals shot down in the heat of the ideological battle.
“And, who can he drone strike in retribution? The Iraqi PM?”
Harsh as it would be for the victims, this is definitely one of those situations in which, every time the Americans kill a leader, he is replaced by someone tougher, stronger and more hostile.
Although I rather doubt how many Iraqi politicians are as keen for martyrdom as General Soleimani was.
So, they’ve asked nicely, and put on a huge march, now how do they get the occupiers out? Because the stakes here are very, very high for the US. The dollar hegemony can’t afford yet another beat down.
You could go “a la IsIs” and tunnel under their base, pack with explosives, then blow the damn thing!!
Just saying.
Perhaps removing the U.S. military base in Al-Tanf, Syria might be collaborative effort between the SAA and the Iraqi Army. This would send a message to the U.S. hegemony the Arabs are serious about both their sovereignties.
The embassy in Iraq is 104 acres, Al-Tanf is much smaller and only military personnel are there, not diplomats that could be injured during skirmishes at the embassy. The 55 kilometer “deconfliction zone” at Al-Tanf would have to be breached but the U.S. will be kept busy responding to the Iraqi ground forces crossing into Syria while the SAA flanks the base on their side.
If the Iraqi and Syrian Arabs work together, they can expel the U.S. military from Al-Tanf, which is more manageable than first taking on the embassy, in my layperson’s opinion.
A few of those heavy ballistic missiles from Iran, transferred to Iraqi PMU would be payback for their dead leader, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and would devastate the al Tanf base.
Breeching the base otherwise has always failed. The US can easily apply cross-border drone and missile strikes and mop up with gunship helos and AC-130 gunships. It’s happened several times to Syrian and Iranian militias.
Best to use the ballistic missiles.
Yes…not much cover in that area and any ground force would be vulnerable from air attack. Now, if the SAA and or the PMU unit’s acquire SAM’s or even manpads, could make flying over them a risky affair. They would have to be positioned in depth, as they also will be vulnerable to air retaliation. Booting them out of Al Tanf is absolutely necessary as it allows ISIS and it’s affiliates to freely travel between Syria and Iraq unengaged.
My guess, the US will unleash IS again in Iraq to have an excuse to remain there and at the same time bomb “by misstake” iraqui forces. Iraqi government should invite Russia (like Assad) did should this happen.
How do the American supply their bases–by air, land?
Cut off their supply lines and see how well the Americans fare.
Given that some of the bases are quite elaborate and require significant amounts of resources to maintain, I’d say that are some juicy targets that are begging to be hit.
Over 4 Million People Join March Against US Presence in Iraq. 24 January 2020
By Telesur
https://www.globalresearch.ca/over-4-million-people-join-march-against-us-presence-in-iraq-24-january-2020/5701679
“At least four million people Thursday demanded the departure of U.S. troops from Iraq with a march in Baghdad, which was convened by cleric Muqtada Al-Sadr three weeks after the murder of Iran’s General Qasem Soleimani.
At the country’s capital, streets were filled with an endless column of people who paraded to express their repudiation of the U.S. military presence.
Banners showed slogans such as “No, No to the U.S. and Yes to Iraqi sovereignty,” “The willingness of free nations is stronger than the U.S. aggression,” and “Global terrorism is made in the U.S.”
While some protesters burned images of Donald Trump, others marched raising photos of the U.S. president’s face crossed out with a red “X”.
“We have not obtained anything from the U.S. except problems, wars, and sieges,” Ziyad Qasim Abdullah, a 39-year-old chauffeur, said.
The U.S. has “created sectarian conflicts in Iraq and divided people to plunder the wealth of our country,” he added and explained that he wants to “expel the occupation forces” from his country.”
I find the TBI “injuries” hilarious. A bunch of wimps that got scared at first altercation. Imagine what would happen in real war?

A world record rally. An achievement for mankind..
When if ever have photographs of a mass demonstration been seen, and such awe-inspiring beautiful, images. I have never seen one – and called for by a representative of Iraq !!!
“Oh women, men and youth of the country, the time is now upon us to defend the country, its sovereignty and dependence,” Sadr said in a tweet.

“Hundreds” of Iraqis Want US Troops to Leave their Country. —

The Iraqis send a message to the US Embassy:
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/fresh-rocket-attack-reportedly-scores-direct-hit-us-embassy-baghdad
Direct hit by rockets.
But which party or org has taken responsibility for it? Some speculate Mossad, MEK, ISIS, FF to give the US justification to do as so happens in Palestine, West Bank? Hamas either takes credit or not, but there is suspicion Hamas works with Mossad. Similar situation but for Iraqis, for the PMU, other militias (freedom fighters, fair is fair!)
Respectfully, If PMU or other Iraqi groups wanted to harm the US military, they have the means and you won’t mistake their work for the sloppy Captogen meth monsters on the other side. There would be no mistake on who, what, when where and why. They would get the message, like the world witnessed a couple weeks back. Humiliated in front of the world by Iran (are they considered a 2nd tier military peer?) Then out from nowhere this Corona flu is kicking ass and chewing gum, and is about out of gum. Has to be sourced or mutated from a bioweapons lab, from what you know so far, it is looking that way? I was reading some comments on Michael Snyder Hedge, I mean 0-Hedge, isn’t looking good at all. It seems to be contagious before symptoms even manifest. So for days someone seems healthy, and has spread the virus, perhaps one person is infected. Why is our government always trying to kill us? If it isn’t nature, life itself we have to pay for further misery at the hands of our government. Forced vaccinations? I don’t do flu Vax myself. When I was younger I had asthma, would get what I suspect was the flu or a bad cold and would become pneumonia. I’ve since grown out of the asthma. I worry for my parents my dad was deliberating on going through with back surgery but he wants to wait til later in the year. I feel better that he won’t have to be in the hospital at this time.
I don’t have any insurance, unemployed been looking for work since last month. I was sick last month, no cough just head cold but mostly feeling miserable, fatigued, fever. I sweat it out over a couple nights. Luckily it was just after leaving my last job (where 500 people move through every day and night).
Praying that we triumph over this. One person reassured me in a comment that in California you’ll have the nitwit, self entitled (Tesla fan Boys?) who will proudly disobey the quarantine, to show them! As they don’t feel they need to submit to authoritatians (themselves needing such a system to push through their agenda, get people to do stuff vs their wishes, hypocrisy) or other inane, reckless argument.
Going to stock up on some canned foods, soups, dried foods and water, tea, coffee. Doesn’t hurt. Be careful out there! Wear gloves in stores or to pump gas as well, or carry extra tissues. We can beat this thing! I don’t normally feed into the fear pr0n and the like. I have to admit bugs, germ warfare scares the living crap out of me.
Some are saying the PTB can conveniently use this crisis to initiate a controlled collapse, since the financial system has been on life support, buckling at the seams. The pressure, chaos, entropy building in the system. Another said they need to be careful they don’t tip the cart, somehow a pandemic is unleashed and people lose their stool, this is when revolutions are hatched and there’s no guarantee the present ruling cabal will be able to maintain control and may lose it altogether, if not also their heads! Possible can happen in China? Could this bring down their ruling class? So many questions. Just was sharing a few anecdotes I picked up earlier, got me on edge, I’ll be honest.
Rockets Strike US Embassy in Baghdad
https://www.globalresearch.ca/rockets-strike-us-embassy-baghdad/5701958
“Reportedly three rockets struck the US embassy directly, damaging the facility, injuring one or more staff members.
Citing unnamed sources, Reuters reported three injuries from direct strikes on the US embassy.
Iraqi Al Sumaria television issued a similar report, indicating that helicopters were evacuating some embassy personnel.
Iraqi MP Hoshyar Zebari said the embassy “restaurant or canteen was damaged and burned.”
As of Monday, the State Department’s website had no information on Sunday’s incident.
US personnel in the country are reviled and unwanted.
Their presence is all about colonizing Iraq, permanently occupying its territory, controlling its hydrocarbon and other resources, along with using Pentagon bases in the country as platforms for endless regional wars against invented enemies.
Polls on Trump’s job approval ask nothing about his endless wars on humanity at home and abroad.
Both right wings of the US war party share guilt.
Nearly all current and former US officials remain unaccountable for the highest of high impeachable offenses.”
Funny how those Iranian ballistic missiles seem to have been programmed to ONLY provoke head injuries in the Amerikans standing on ground zero. This may confirm what has been suggested, that the Iranians intentionally targeted spots (or even body body parts) where their rockets would do the least damage, by hitting the least valuable targets.
Here’s a photo with an especially helpful piece of advice for the American colonizers (and its Coalition crime partners) in Iraq:

” All US deliveries of weapons and ammunition to Iraqi security forces have been suspended, amid rising tensions over the US presence in Iraq following the drone assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani in Baghdad.
The halt includes the US Air Force’s program of supplying parts and missiles to Iraq’s fleet of F-16 fighter-bombers, the news portal Inside Defense reported on Monday. Deliveries will begin again “when the environment in Iraq is safe enough to resume,” USAF spokesman Brian Brackens told Inside Defense in an email.”
Sounds like israel’s pindo quislings are worried their Iraq colony may turn on them and use the weaponry they bought from the u.s. mic to expel israel’s pindo/nato rubbish.
