Weapons incoming
Russia have struck a major artery for the shipment of NATO weapons from Europe via the Beskidy railway tunnel. The Beskidy Tunnel is a railway tunnel under the Volovets Pass in the Carpathian Mountains. Confirmed by Ukraine itself.
High-precision long-range air-based missiles of the Russian Aerospace Forces have destroyed industrial buildings of the smithy-mechanical plant on the outskirts of Lozovaya (Kharkov Region), where the AFU armoured vehicles were being rebuilt and repaired.
The consequences of the arrival at the Darnitsa car repair plant, which was converted for the repair of equipment and the preparation of Polish tanks for shipment to the front https://t.me/intelslava/30873
Russian Mod states that an An-26 military transport aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force carrying weapons and military equipment was shot down in the Odessa region.
The stream of weapons that are being sent into the Ukraine, is not even a replacement of what they had and it gets destroyed as fast as possible.
The signs are there: Ukraine is now an orphan. Nobody wants it any longer. Yet, nobody is calling a ceasefire or peace. The opportunity for the west to snatch victory on any axis at all, is fast disappearing.
Today, for the detail, we look at the Military Summary Channel, Readovka news as of the end of the 5th of June, and the Russian Mod Briefing of early morning on the 6th.
https://rumble.com/v162oko-ukraine.-military-summary-and-analysis-25.05.2022.html
https://readovka.news/
You may see how fast the information changed over the previous two days, how territories changed hands, and how mapmakers and reporters could not keep up.
Here is a short form video: https://t.me/militarysummary/552
And here is some additional description of what happened around the Severodonetsk / Lysychansk area but kindly check the detail thoroughly for over and under statements:
Readovka – evening of June 5 – frontlines
In the Kharkiv direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a counteroffensive on the positions of the Russian Armed Forces to the north. Fighting has been going on in Tsupovka since yesterday. On the eastern flank there are battles in the area of Ternovaya and near Stary Saltov;
Severodonetsk-Lisichansk-Zolotoe heavy fighting continues. Ukrainian units were forced to retreat immediately 20 kilometers to the rear, in the area of the village of Nagornoye.
There are fights for Vrubovka;
Kamyshevakha is under the control of the Russian and LPR troops. The fighting was heavy, but now the enemy has been driven out of the village;
Artemivsk (Bakhmut). The fight for the Artemivsk-Lisichansk highway is of key importance for all these battles. If the initiative is successfully seized on this transport artery, a huge group of Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries will actually be left without supplies in Lysychansk and Severodonetsk.;
The southern Front today was not marked by fierce battles and the advance of troops-there are sluggish positional battles.
Calibration. In the Kiev region, six strikes were carried out. Some of them are related to infrastructure facilities in Darnytskyi, Dnipro and Brovary districts of the capital. The leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine decided to place T-72 and other military equipment.
In the Mykolaiv region, the Russian Armed Forces inflicted at least five strikes. Strong explosions thundered about five in the morning in Nikolaev and Ochakov. One “calibration” was recorded in Kramatorsk and Slavyansk. In the Kharkiv region, strikes were carried out at the Korotich airfield, where MiG-29 aircraft were transferred according to intelligence data.
Ukrainian militants continue their massive shelling of Donetsk. As a result of a strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the Chelyuskintsev mine was destroyed. MLRS shells were observed arriving in the Vostochny microdistrict in Makeyevka. Kremennaya also suffered from the Ukrainian militants-about 30 mines of 120-mm caliber were fired.
The latest Russian Mod Briefing is here:
Human Interest
And a day ago, Russian General Kutuzov was killed in the battles. He personally led his unit into battle. During his service, Roman Vladimirovich was awarded the Orders of Kutuzov, Courage, “For Military Merit”, Honor, as well as the medal “For Courage”.
Today, in the area of Severodonetsk, Russians killed the battalion commander of the 24th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. (Clearly payback judging by the wide distribution of the news).
A Serviceman of the DPR army Viktor was seriously injured while in Ukrainian captivity. The APU literally slashed the head, neck and chest of the prisoner of war with a bayonet knife. He miraculously survived and now the marine from the 36th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Dmitry Evgan, is a captive of the Russian military.
A major fire broke out at an Orthodox monastery located near the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) town of Svyatogorsk on Saturday. The area is controlled by the Ukrainian military and intense fighting has been reported from the area over the past few days.
Footage from the scene circulating shows the Skete of All Saints engulfed in flames. The sprawling wooden structure was constructed in the late 2000s at the site of the former All Saints Church, which had been destroyed during the Soviet era. Who dun it? Both sides are blaming the other.

Erdogan states that EU members and other European countries are in a state of “panic” over the influx of refugees from Ukraine.

Russia Could Soon ‘Break’ Ukraine’s Defenses – Spiegel: Russian troops could soon wrest the remainder of the Donbass region from Ukraine’s forces, Germany’s foreign intelligence agency, the BND, has warned. (Spiegel)
An interesting report on why Germany will not supply tanks to the Ukraine. Generally someone has remembered some history and they say they cannot again have German tanks on Russian territory: https://www.rt.com/news/556670-germany-tank-ukraine-scholz/
Our general expectation and still forming at the Saker Blog, is that we are going to see very huge changes in Europe first. The expectation of Gonzalo Lira, that there already may be different blocs trying to negotiate with Russia, and seriously trying to get out of the tentacles of Uncle $cam, has relevance.
It is then also necessary to note the serious games of provocation being played in the South China and East China Seas. PLA aircraft deal with Canadian, Australian provocative close-in recon in East and South China Seas https://www.globaltimes.cn/page/202206/1267316.shtml

once November is reached and the NG prices escalate again in the EU, the politicians will be on their back foot looking for ways out.
By that time, Odessa will be firmly in RU control and the red line in place.
Zelinksy will be offed by then – making way for a bright new face who is a nationalist instead of a committed gangster running the show and we will move to the humiliation of NATO / EU / Washington DC.
Washington-WEF-NWO-Soros do not care if this war bankrupts Europe and the Europeans. The EU shooting itself to benefit the gangsters in Kiev even though Zelensky is not even in the Ukraine plus benefit the UK and USA.
What the hell are Canadian fighter jets doing in the S. China Sea?
The same as Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan were doing. In the service of Nazis and Zionists (AshkeNAZIs).
Defending the North Atlantic.
I agree with you except for this “Zelinksy…….running the show”.
He runs nothing, he is a captive puppet.
Elensky won’t last until November. If not his comrades kill him, the drugs will.
“Russia have struck a major artery for the shipment of NATO weapons from Europe via the Beskidy railway tunnel. The Beskidy Tunnel is a railway tunnel under the Volovets Pass in the Carpathian Mountains. Confirmed by Ukraine itself.”
Surprised to hear that weapons were being shipped to Ukraine via Hungary and/or Slovakia.
This tunnel would require a massive aerial assault. I think it is back in action. Caliber is not going to damage a tunnel under hundreds of feet of rock. Could bomb it every day, I suppose.
Obviously it takes a lot of ordinance to clobber a mountain. I suspect that to destroy a tunnel through a mountain you attack the entrance where it is most vulnerable. The blast wave would probably follow the tunnel, wreaking havoc with rails and power/signaling along the way. Doesn’t that seem more appropriate?
Anyone with experience in this sort of thing want to comment?
I don’t know what the effect of an explosion in a tunnel would be on the rails but the effect on wiring is devastating. It completely strips it off the walls. In the Maginot Line the very efficient engineers had all had experience of fortifications in WW1 and all the endless galleries were designed with special insets for the wiring so that any explosion shock wave would pass them by.
Again Maginot Line experience was that 20 metres was enough for protection from any likely explosion. The entrances were as with all ‘castles’ the weak points. Collapsing the entrances is an obvious move.
I wonder if there is any clever guided missile that could enter a railway tunnel these days. Why not? Ventilation shafts could be targetted.
Think you are on ‘the right track’ Stephen. The new tunnel was only completed 4 years ago and designed to accommodate twin tracks. Imagine there must have been some sort of Yanki and NATO oversight in such a project considering all the effort they put into overthrowing the Democratically elected government, 4 years earlier. Chief engineers would have been collecting CIA/MI5 pay cheques, Might even have been a CIA/MI5 Eng. Company that got the contract. If a British outfit it will have at least 3 or 4 Royal Engineers all of whom would have drawn down a second pay cheque.
“The cost of construction of the tunnel amounted to UAH 102.7 million, of which EUR 55 million of the loan was provided by the European Investment Bank, and USD 40 million by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.” The exchange rate in 2014 when the loan was secured was UAH 11 to 1 Euro. Which seems rather strange as the Euro loan of 55 million was more than 5 times the cost. Then there is the $40 million extra however, Poroshenko was and remains as corrupt as they come.
“The length of the tunnel is 1.8 km, width – 10.5 m, height – 8.5 m, depth – 180 m from the surface of the Beskidy range.” From what I have read so far it appears there were 2 or 3 strikes. If Kalibr cruise missiles were used they could have easily flown into the tunnel. How far in only RF Military Personnel on a need to know basis would know. My guess is that those who committed to this strike, would not have done so unless they were confident it would take a significant amount of time to make it operational again. Of course another Kalibr or two might just happen to cruise in now and again making it an area of significant danger. So, I will unlikely err when I say it will not open until this SMO is concluded or until Russia decides it is required. Normally I would put in links to support the inverted commas, however, if I did….
If you can create a landslide over the entrance, that creates a huge pile of difficult-to-remove rock and dirt. Also messes up the tracks in the process. They get bent, twisted, and have to be replaced and relaid.
Rumor is whatever went in there, went in by the tunnel entrance.
Sounds like a job for a cruise missile. Actually, send in several. First goes 3/4 way and blows up. Next goes 1/2. Next goes 1/4.
That should take a while to dig out.
Iskanders could greatly damage and close it for long stretches at a time, and force them to constantly work and spend on repairing it, and in constant danger from more missile attacks..i think since 60% of Ukraines total freight traffic to and from Europe goes through it, this attack may have been intended as a threat..If so, I suggest the time for threats is over.
Iskander is ballistic and not designed as a deep penetration missile. I think that kinzhals would be much more effective.
Missiles flew into the tunnel opening – then exploded inside
It was collapsed to some degree.
Missiles fly horizontally at a speeeed. String three in a row into a tunnels open mouth. Then try and fined yourself a clean up crew, not going to happen.
“Reminiscence of the future,” …..smoothiex12.blogsspot.com” Read what Andrei Martyanov the “Salty Bear,” has to say about the Russian War Plans. Many plans, big plans, small plans and moving swicharoo plans.
Whatever is going to happen to that tunnel has a plan or two. So does Ukraine, the Zeee on the other hand as no plan at all. If the Nazis don’t get him the Russian plan will.
Very surprising! Hey, a little eroding of trust towards Hungary can never go to waste, since their chairman of the Parliament so honestly criticized Ze and friends…
Hungary was till now adamant on refusing any transfer of weaponry through its territory.
I really do think it is the old throwing manure around technique from the Ukie side.
Taking the truth/the reality of the 5th train corridor, that undoubtedly traverses Hungary
and messing it up with their own wishful thinking that some batches of the so eagerly waited wunderwaffen might came that way.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pan-European_corridors
Hungary is a small country, with lots of train-spotters. Such trains have had cought the eyes of the proverbial beholders. The fifth columnist media-wannabees are wet in their dreams on such a possibility, being able to show the world how Hungary might have let such trains pass.
Such a foolish breaking of promise is IMHO far fetched, derivate it from Orbán’s psyche, judge it from his 12 years of reign, he never broke his word. Hungary has an ongoing(?) nuclear power plant building project with Rosatom, they are walking a thin line there, I really doubt they’d risk such transports pass through.
The trouble with NATO is that pressure comes on the PM or President to do what NATO wants without any cabinet consultation. The first thing that the Baltics were made to do was host black torture sites for George Bush Jr post Afghanistan.
Most likely from Poland via Slovakia. Russia has blown up the railway lines and key junctions going from west to east. So they try to sneak this junk in from the side.
Erdo, what’s his game? Rattling Sabres at Greece, big military op in N. Syria. Blocking NATO assention. Is he distracting resources from ZATO, creating some breathing room for the SMO. They do appear connected, and Rocket Man, I really like his ability to distract attention when ZATO gets uppity. Degrees of seperation?
Cheers M
My guess is that Erdogan wants more leverage in negotiation with Russia, so he will bargain keeping Sweden and Finland out of NATO, in return for.. I don’t know what, but he always wants something, and always something more than he can get.
This is real leverage on Russia, something the Russians surely want, and Erdogan will not let that go to waste. Complaints about Sweden and Finland being friendly to terrorists is just the cover story, and a good one.
There is a good article on this by rebel British diplomat Craig Murray saying what is really p*ssing off the Turks is the NATO/US support for Greek militarisation of islands just off the Turkish coast in breach of the 1947 Peace Treaty with Italy – https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2022/05/nato-expansion-and-turkey/ A look at the map shows how close they are. No wonder he went for Russian air defence equipment.
I Agree. When I first observed his Sweden\Finland obstruction I just assumed he is looking for a higher price to be paid for the Turkey vote. Later, when they receive their bounty he would just turn around and offer to spend the whole lot of Russian military orders in order to get reduced price American kit.
“Our general expectation and still forming at the Saker Blog, is that we are going to see very huge changes in Europe first.”
To my utmost annoyance I still can’t tell what angle Macron (our french president) is working on. On one hand he’s been constantly in contact with Putin, had pled against russophobia and discouraged our corporations from leaving Russia, on the other hand he’s constantly supporting van der Leyen nonsense and his ministers have been babbling anti-russian propaganda. Same for our medias, they’re getting more and more divided on the conflict. France is living in a state of schizophrenia.
RT has made mildly positive statements regarding Macron’s diplomacy recently, so I assume he discussed with Putin about backstabbing the anglosphere somehow (he gained a reputation has a banker to doublecross his partners), but all that scheming is nervewrecking to the casual observer.
Even so, if we can’t get ride of Borrell and van der Leyen, Europe will still be stuck with a basket of nutcases.
France is celebrating the EU at this moment, and all the propaganda plastered in public places induces severe teeth grinding.
France has already prepositioned white flags on the eastern front (this is tongue-in-cheek humour for any Francophiles)

:-)
Eh, whatever it takes to survive. Bravery is exemplary for the winning side, but for the losing side it’s suicide.
After thinking about it more in depths I’ve got a faint idea of what Macron could be doing. It’s probable he’s been pushing maximum pain on Europe by promoting sanctions to make negotiations with Russia inevitable. This way he makes breaking with the anglosphere influence an absolute necessity, and at the same time he’ll appear like the savior of Europe for leading diplomacy with Russia. He demonstrated multiple times during his presidency that while he’s incompetent at governing, his plotting abilities are absolutely remarkable.
… and at the same time he’ll appear like the savior of Europe for leading diplomacy with Russia.
Which leaves him in the enviable position of being a highly supported public figure, while promoting his nation as a euro-leader over Germany (with all the trappings of power that creates), and also heavily supported (and paid) by the Davos and WEF groups. No downside for Macromedia at all.
Macron not Macromedia… curse you autocorrect
Macromedia seems to do the job.
While I’m not exactly pro-WEF Germany leadership has been absolutely disastrous to the EU, so that would have at least some positive aspects. Especially van der Leyen odious lead in this crisis and the German greens ludicrous plan to plant windmills all over Europe instead of developping thorium power plants.
In fact I’m much more concerned by the WHO than the WEF at the moment, although it seems they encounter some resistance after their deplorable management of the covid crisis.
The house of Russia war crimes in Davos was an absolutely despicable invention though, it’s sort of hilarious that Pinchuk lost so much money with this conflict he was seething enough to come out with this shameless abomination.
‘He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day…. unless he leaves it too late and gets stuck in a cauldron.
I think he is totally concentrating on getting a working majority in the Natonal Assembly as of this minute so talk like de Gaulle and his opposite at the same time.
Confusing eh!
Well Macron doesn’t know the script either until it lands on his desk. 15 minutes in front of the mirror, both he and school mam wife go over his lines while trying to perfect his cheesy grin and then serious face, nothing’s left to chance. Rothschild & Co send him report cards on the 1st of every month.
Still when you have 3 or more bosses, Rothschild, EU Parliaments and the veto from America then it’s little wonder France/Others are living in a state of acute schizophrenia.
“Still when you have 3 or more bosses, Rothschild, EU Parliaments and the veto from America”
Yeah that sums it up, he was already juggling to mesmerize multiple conflicting parties and now Russia was added to the mix. Ultimately he’ll probably try to kick out America from the list and take control of the EU, but even for a talented snake like him it seems like an arduous task.
Macron is WEF snakerat.
He ignores the yellow vests like turdeau ignored trucks.
Are macron and turdeau blood Bros?
They drink blood of klaous.
They drink blood of young Russian children, sharing with Nazie Pelosie.
Cheers
America is also owned by Rothschild and the Davos Cabal owners.
Macron is not working on any angle whatsoever in my opinion. He pretends to listen to the Russians, but this is just insincerity. He has talked about being Jupiter, the chief deity in France, but in reality he is an errand boy who waits for instructions from the anglosphere. One must not be deceived.
Well it’s not like he’s the one taking the calls, Putin is. As I said Macron has an history with backstabbing people getting in his way, and the anglosphere isn’t only becoming more irrelevant by the day, it’s actively hurting the EU (and Macron is decisively in favor of the EU). You clearly underestimate him, the man has no ideological backbone. He’s only serving others interesst because it suits his own interests, until it doesn’t.
“France is living in a state of schizophrenia.”
We all are, just to different degrees of that.
Macron is a Rothschild tool and the Kremlin are just being polite.
The EU was sold a half-baked plan by globalists and the WEF. Half-baked because you expect the target to “react” in a behaveable, pre-determined manner – which Russia and China are neither, because their thought process is different and they are more experienced at the game.
So the half-baked game has back-fired and the blowback is wonderous to behold. Now the EU members are desperately back-peddaling and trying various back-room deals hoping that Russia gives them a benevolefood.nt nod.
The last thing Europe’s leaders want is an angry mob with pitchforks and torches (and mabe even guns ! Oh Noes) marching on the presidential estates and seats of governent when their is no electricity or heat or food.
I doubt there will be an EU mutual defense force (to replace NATO) since who will be the enemy ? Another possibility is that US military bases in Europe and worldwide may have to be closed once the US economy implodes and those forces will be needed to quell restlessness and alleged insurrection within the US.
“I doubt there will be an EU mutual defense force (to replace NATO) since who will be the enemy? Another possibility is that US military bases in Europe and worldwide may have to be closed once the US economy implodes and those forces will be needed to quell restlessness and alleged insurrection within the US.”
There will be insurrection in the U.S. It’s been obvious that the left has intended to completely undermine American society and the system of popular government since I was a child in 1971, and that it would come within my lifetime.
However, what the idiots in Washington DC don’t understand is that, because the American military is an all volunteer force, and overwhelmingly VERY patriotic, and that the insurrection will BE an patriotic insurrection, those returning forces will be PART OF the insurrection, not fighting against it.
he got a lot of credit for diplomacy before the operation started but it seems that didn’t quite work out. i’d say just analyze any action through the prism of his profession. once a banker, always a banker. a lot of those yuppies (the english word for “bourgeoisie”) value stability and globalist connections. it’s why a lot of the (non-defense industry) wall street types are resistant to screwing about with china; it’s bad for business and they have no ideals to adhere to other than profit. if some woke NPC starts whining about “the poor wiggers in jingjang” it isn’t going to affect them.
i think – despite his lack of character – he’s cunning enough to see where all this going. he just wants to be the first to kiss the ring and get that sweet natural gas.
Macron is a Rothschild bankster – they don’t get as far without getting “initiated”

Heavy rocket shelling incoming to Donetsk!
https://t.me/EurasianChoice/14763
Ukie positions between Marinka-Avdeevka are so annoying for Donetsk. I don’t get why the allied forces are trying to advance to Avdeevka only from east direction. As explained in the video, it is heavily fortified. Does anybody have a clue why the southern pincer of the Donbass cauldron (all the front north of Volnovakha to Guliapole) is not moving in the last two months?
The slow approach may be justified:
https://k-politika.ru/glavnaya-prichina-ne-speshit-s-osvobozhdeniem-ukrainy/?utm_source=politobzor.net
But, it is certainly hard on 5-year-old girls in Donetsk.
70 shells in one hour (same past few days).
https://t.me/sputnik/5788
This must be true hate and revenge from a bad suicidal loser. No other explanation.
Not really ! It’s an inherit weakness of the front’s setup. If they maintain the shelling intensity the russian side will eventually be forced to do something against it, and thus relocate assets to solve the problem which would be used otherwise.
Most likely those type of strikes are ordered by the top echelon, which will most likely never be held responsible for it unless they are being brought into russian custody, which is very unlikely to happen for now….
I can only believe that the Nazi’s here are determined to show ihre Nazi Kameraden aus Azovstal how to die in a hail of shrapnel. Those who fall unconscious from wounds or starvation will awaken in a military hospital in Donetsk and when recovered enough will be tried and convicted of multiple murders of the aged, women and children. I think a quick death is much too clean. They should be shackled until they repent for their crimes against humanity and then and only then should they be considered for execution. Or, to serve out the rest of their days with their shackles removed until death takes them to Hell or that other place between heaven and hell where eternity will not end, until the Almighty judges it so.
Hmm, you do wonder at the logic, that being shelling the families of the enemy that will in all likelihood overrun your position soon. How do they imagine they will be treated by said angry enemy seething for revenge?

The PLA knows how to send message ” Minister of Defense Richard Marles said the Chinese aircraft flew very close in front of the Australian jet and released a “bundle of chaff” containing small pieces of aluminum that were ingested into the Australian aircraft’s engine. “
That AN / TPQ-50 counter-battery radar looks a lot like the 5 sets the DNR/LNR forces captured at Debaltsevo in 2015. At least one radar set was undamaged, and the modular nature of the beast may have allowed one or two more to be salvaged. I guess Washington didn’t mind giving more of the same, 7 years later. Of course, the results are the same, too.
Germany refuse to jump around in mud and freeze to death inside Russia again. But that doesnt mean Germany cannot win the war.
With sanctions, statements, chatting and declarations, “Let there be darkness in the whole of Russia” Germany will be victorious. “I put a spell on you cause you’re mine” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RTJbhxpbg44 .
“The expectation of Gonzalo Lira, that there already may be different blocs trying to negotiate with Russia, and seriously trying to get out of the tentacles of Uncle $cam, has relevance.”
In that video, Gonzalo Lira presented zero evidence whatsoever, which could justify his supposition that these blocs exist, and obviously “negotiating with Russia” is even more of a stretch.
It’s important to distinguish between hope and reality.
Fortunately we have past history to draw from in regards to what gets talked about behind closed doors. Neither hope nor reality, common sense, it still exists.
Lira, a Chilean, knows about coups and such, he has personal history with it. Death squads and disappearances. Backroom dealings, first everyone jockies for position, once the important pigs get their place at the trough, all will be revealed.
There is no shortage of evidence that all throughout history and conflict back room jaw jaws take place. Why would this be different?
Cheers M
Sean, you are arguing about two different things. You are both likely right. If Russians talked to drugged up thuggish Zhe’s UkroNazi “mediators” in Belarus and Turkey, they will talk with anyone; and we know it is their long-standing practice to always talk anyway. But none of us can assert they are talking to any putative saner Faction, etc.; this is the where the narrative fully goes on an imaginary tangent. Cosimo emphasizes this same point I and Larch made in different ways – aside from his silky smooth delivery, GL merely posits a POV without any substance and with unfounded assumptions.

I actually watched this one, hoping for real nuggets. I was disappointed. And I remember he stated at least twice that he had doubts his POV was even valid and operative. We are getting tired of just another crafted narrative, no matter how sincere and pleasantly spun.
PS – I dont see he was attacking Saker team at all, just factually stating that GL had zero sources or proof. And Saker team said, “The expectation of Gonzalo.. has relevance,” making it clear they were indulging in forecast which by definition is unverifiable. And we all have right to indulge in little guilty pleasures, and they were honest in stating it was all conjecture.. it is all a storm in teapot.
i.e. Editorial: the sky will be blue tomorrow.
Professor Cosimo: currently, the sky is grey-black with heavy stormclouds.
Fyi, decades ago, I learned to my woe that professors who critiqued where I placed commas or quotations or allegations in a paper invariably prevailed (as more jaundiced sticklers for facts) and should not be crossed. My beloved Hyperbole was easy pickings for their Reality. Kinda reminds me of the current predicament of western MSM narrative!
Or another analogy is many of us in our eagerness for peace and the resolution of Operation Z are flamboyant and anticipatory like the Chechen Kadyrov, whereas the proper stance is the boring measured bulletins of the Russian MoD, which limits itself to verifiable and current facts. But such is life and human nature.
In addition, it is actually our job here to find those early eddies. I just found another :-)
Yes, we need to find those early eddies and to help them grow if we can. But just because something could be happening, and of course ought to be happening, does not make it so. It’s still very early days.
Perhaps it wold be useful to discuss how we could discern, in reality, any early eddy.
I don’t share the sanguine hopes that just because something ought to happen, it follows that it will happen. World-wide, 11 million people marched against the war on Iraq in March, 2003, and those marches had absolutely zero effect. It can be argued that many “Western democracies” more resemble police states if you strip away the velvet covering. The Yellow Vests in France can tell you that. Germany is the most heavily saturated with wiretaps, according to some American data from a few years back. Etc. So there are some extremely serious problems that need to be solved if we are to hold “our” governments accountable or to replace them.
The most important take from Gonzalo’s video for me was October. This is when things get real. Europe can have a nice summer where people have their 4 week vacations but we are already almost in the second week of June. July, August and September. Just over 3 months to go. No gas = no heat or electricity.
Then energy and food for Europe become a major issue. The idiots who say “Russia is just a gas station with nukes.” Russia is probably the biggest wheat producer in the world and well as other food items. Not to mention Russia’s fertilizer. I wonder what European farmers will be doing with no fertilizer? In Germany they used to use poop on the fields. Not sure if it was horse or cow or human. Not really the best thing.
That you would think otherwise shows you have very little experience in western politics. Baltic states tend to to be honest in their positions when they make public statement, it’s rarely the case for Western nations. They constantly flip-flop in their statements because communication is a political tool for them, nothing more. Western politicians know if they don’t deal with this crisis in an orderly fashion they will be ousted or worse, while Brussels doesn’t care since they’re unelected sycophants to the US. It shows how the EU is a degenerate institution.
The earliest recorded use of the phrase ‘the penny drops’, meaning a belated realization of something after a period of confusion or ignorance, dates back to England’s newspaper The Daily Mirror, in August 1939.
Interesting, language and enterprise…
Europe has some fifty countries of which Russia is one, and there are roughly thirty different currencies in daily use.t
Talking of small change : wars make big money. How many civilians, military personnel and bombs will continue to drop in this utterly tragic and senseless SMO in Ukraine before the world realizes what has and is happening, and why, and when, or if, and how, it will stop before a far wider carnage is seen…
Penny is also understood in America, they still use the word pennies, and also Ausies and Kiwis undestand it.
Zelensky looking worried about his chances of survival was asked, “A penny for your thoughts”.
“An interesting report on why Germany will not supply tanks to the Ukraine. Generally someone has remembered some history and they say they cannot again have German tanks on Russian territory: ”
Right. No German tanks on Russian territory. But that hasn’t stopped Germany from providing all manner of support otherwise to the Ukro-nazi’s. It doesn’t bother the German political establishment one bit that the German brand of fascism, along with its symbolism, has practically become institutionalized in Banderistan/404. And it didn’t stop German politicians, including government ministers, attending the Maidan so-called ‘protests’ & voicing open solidarity with them – protests led by Banderite Nazis. So Germany, as far as I am concerned, can go send itself off a cliff, it is a travesty that at the end of WW2, with tens of millions dead, that a German state was permitted to exist at all. Germany should have been dissolved then, the consequences of not doing so were seen in the destruction of Yugoslavia in 1991, an operation led by Germany. The good news is that Germany is in the process of destroying itself because of its servility to the US, which wishes to canabilize it economically. So good. Good riddance to a disgusting excuse for a state.
German Nazism was a convenient boogeyman for Zionism. Nazi’s had an agreed upon objective to scare Askenazi/non-semite Jews into their “homeland” of Palestine. They both practice genocide and eugenics. The often touted high IQ of Jews is a red flag that Jews culled their own herd. This is now the plan of the Neocons – cull your own herd and the world at large. Russians and this forum have only identified 1/2 of their enemy. ZIONISM created Nazism.
Germany & its predecessor states, has historically had an eastward expansionist ambition dating back to the Holy Roman Empire, in close league with the Vatican. This has nothing whatsoever to do with Zionism, & what is Zionism? A movement amongst some elements of Europe’s Jewish banking aristocracy to create a Jewish state in Palestine. Jewish emigration to Palestine was taking place under the British mandate & was picking up pace, there was no need for a Nazi move on eastern European Jewry to push large numbers of them there, they were going anyway. The Nazi project is something altogether different, with a history not directly tied in to whatever it is you think of as Zionism, or Jewish interests.
“The often touted high IQ of Jews is a red flag that Jews culled their own herd.
That’s not how the IQ’s got raised. I have never seen anything to imply that. If you have any evidence, let’s see it.
But there were other effects that raised IQ over a long period of time.
1. Gilad Atzmon says there was a common practice for a thousand years, wherein the son of the top rabbi married the daughter of the wealthiest businessman. This was an elitist eugenics project, and he says a lot of not-so-smart Jews ended up on the left side of the Bell curve. I don’t know what he thinks happened to those less-fortunate people.
2. At times, being a Jew was tough, and only the best survived. It’s like how the Balouchis in Pakistan are tough and smart, because Balouchistan has a hard arid climate and the weak don’t survive.
3. The Ashkenazi branch probably got a head start from being Khazars, who, I think, were about the only tribe to stop the Mongols in their tracks.
4. Modern genetics shows a relative lack of genetic diversity in European Jews, which points to a “bottleneck” circa 1650 C.E. or so, and it’s reasonable to assume only the more-fit survived that crisis.
I was entirely mistaken on point 3. The Khazars never fought the Mongols. “The Empire of the Steppes, a History of Central Asia” by René Grousset is widely published and widely translated because it is considered authoritative and has the requisite footnotes with an extensive bibliography. The Khazars are discussed on pp. 179-182 of my English translation. The only military action was in 626 C.E. when the Khazars lent 40,000 soldiers to the Byzantine emperor Heraclius, who used them to lay waste to the Sassanind [Persian] province of Azerbaijan. So no Mongols were fought, and he concludes in saying that by 1030 C.E., the Khazars had ceased to exist politically.
AFAIK after WWII Stalin wanted a united Germany that remained neutral – that is, no external subjugation from the same USA and Britain that supported Hitler from the start and got away with it. What we have today, as in 1991, is a Germany occupied by soldiers of the same USA in its soil. Can you blame Stalin for his decision?
Would the destruction of Yugoslavia have happened anyway even if NATO were dissolved?

Can somebody answer to this:
It is unclear why Russia doesn’t use areal bombing with heavy bombers to attack Ukr. forces on open terrain, like near Doglinka. Ukr. forces are in the trenches and in the forest and their positions are known.
This may be stating the obvious, but if RF forces have not destroyed Ukr/VSU forces that are easy game – then they have made a conscious decision to let them live. So the question is, why is the RF military allowing certain VSU regiments, squads, etc. to live when they could take them out? Well, that tunes in to the overall tactic of the RF since the beginning of the SMO, they have gone very slow, very careful, very surgical the entire way of the operation to date. There are a multitude of reasons for this that various writers have covered, I don’t need to repeat them, the main factor is that the RF is seeking to minimize death & destruction. The RF is not seeking to be destructive for the sake of it.
As Arestovich said, if Russia wins then 500,000 Ukrainian soldiers will join the Russian army, also Wagner PMC told to a journo that they won’t be surprised if Azov will eventually take arms against Kiev regime
I think we can’t see a lot of the Russian strategy without close observation and knowledge of Russian military doctrine. For example:
The Great Commanders – 106 – Georgy Zhukov
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RNmz8ARKc8&t=1265s
I think that “open fields” quote explains a lot of what we are seeing including the voluntary withdrawals from Kiev, Kharkov and why the Russians chose the “grind” in the Donbass.
One could make the argument that the Russians don’t want to fight in the cities and will fight anywhere the Ukrainians show up in open fields where the Russians can bring concentrated fire upon them. Hence the Russians withdrew from Kharkov and the Ukrainians followed them out of the city into the open fields (the so called Khakov counter offensive) and now those units are being engaged. And after the Ukrainians have been reduced in the open fields, as Zhukov says, the cities will be that much easier to take.
After thinking about it, I would posit that they don’t want to drive them into the cities prematurely, hence the selective targeting. As long as they have a steady supply of Ukrainian units / targets in the open fields, the strategy is going according to Zhukov’s plan. IMHO
I agree 100% with your post.
Doubtlessly, Russian Forces’ successes in all phases of the SMO are on a par with the General of the Army Sergei Shoigu’s comprehensive military education and vast experience.
Outrageous action by Bulgaria,North Macedonia, and Montenegro. But the answer is totally plain what needs to be done. Recall the Russian Ambassadors from those states and break diplomatic relations. Let’s be frank here, those three tiny mice are a drain on Russian foreign ministry expenses anyway. There isn’t any really good reason to have an Embassy in those states. They made their beds with NATO,so it’s time to make them lay in them. The Russian Embassy in Serbia could handle any matters that come up involving those states. So just save the expense and show them how unimportant they are to Russia. If their populations ever decide to stop their subversive to their US master. Then things could change. But until then dealing with them isn’t even worthwhile :
Russian FM reacts to being barred from foreign visit

I think that Serbian President A. Vucic secretly asked NATO to prevent Lavrov coming to Serbia.
That is in the best interest of Serbian ruling party as they are definitely pro NATO and against Russia, but they can conceal it more easy in this way.
moreso, former UK PM Tony Blair has been Vucic’s “handler” for many years. Vucic got busted on the head with a big rock in 2014 when he and Bill Clinton showed up at Srebrenica. So, yes, Vucic has long-been trolling with the NATO darkside…
Also for Avdievka.
Why is bomber aviation not used by Russia there?
There is something i read that advivka fortifications are sited in industrial area – coke plant? – which if assaulted by artilllery or bombing would risk chemical type leak. there were other problematic factors cited, possibly via military summary channel. I find uncle bob’s suggestions above enticing though i imagine russia would see attacking command centres at this point as using an ace too soon in the play.
How do you get the Ukie’s to stop shelling Donbass cities?
https://www.rt.com/russia/556689-donetsk-under-massive-rocket-fire/
1.The most obvious is for Russia to “whisper” in the ears of the Ukrainians. That they really will bomb their command centers in Kiev and Lvov if they shell one more time. And when they do shell again,as I’m sure they will. Then follow through and bomb one center into just rubble as a demonstration. And bomb another each time Donbass is shelled.
2. Since Russia has recognized the DNR and LNR as independent republics. They should officially declare war on Ukraine. That would mean under the laws of war they would also need to be represented in any peace talks. And they would be free to un-recognize the Kiev regime as the legitimate government of Ukraine. Freeing them to legally charge and put on trial the Kiev regime officials. And also to declare that the Ukrainian forces on their territory are to be considered terrorists. And would be accorded the same rights,or lack of them, that terrorists receive. As I recall the Kiev regime considers the LDNR governments as terrorist. So turn around is called for here. The LDNR should officially call on the people of Ukraine to rebel against their criminal regime. And start a military force made up of Ukrainian volunteers to form a new Ukrainian Army of Liberation. There is no reason to write a new playbook here. That is exactly what the Soviets did in WW2 in several countries they were liberating. Just dust of that playbook and get to work.
That’s what the Berlin newspaper TAGESSPIEGEL says
Have the Ukrainians lured the Russian troops into a trap?
Heavy fighting has been raging for weeks around the once 100,000-inhabitant town of Sjewjerodonezk in the Donbass. Ukraine succeeds in a surprising counter-offensive.
Militarily, the Ukrainians may have taken the Russian troops by surprise once again. They seem to have lured Moscow’s army into a trap in the heavily contested city of Sjewjerodonezk. Numerous recent reports on the social networks speak for this.
As is so often the case in this war, they cannot be independently verified.
What is certain as of Saturday afternoon is that the Ukrainian army is carrying out a very surprising and so far successful counter-offensive in the city in the Donbass. If one believes the numerous reports, which are said to be based on sources on the ground, the Ukrainians had previously feigned a retreat. Russian troops then advanced to the centre, occupying about two-thirds of the city’s territory. However, this probably happened without the appropriate cover and equipment, which made the troops vulnerable.
As could be seen on videos posted on social media on Saturday, fresh Ukrainian troops are now said to be in the city. Among them a brigade of foreign fighters and paramilitary units. This is surprising, as the supply routes into the city had been reduced to a highway heading west in the past week. And that too was under constant Russian artillery fire.
The battle for Sjewjerodonezk is considered to have been particularly bloody and full of casualties.
However, the Ukrainians have already proved in Mariupol that they can maintain supply routes even in almost hopeless situations. There, the fighters in the Asovstal steelworks were supplied by helicopter. Fresh troops were also brought in. Only when this supply line was discovered by pro-Russian fighters did the Ukrainians have to stop the flights.
In its daily briefing on the situation in Ukraine on Saturday, the British intelligence service assumes that mainly poorly equipped pro-Russian militias are in action in Sjewjerodonezk. They would be sent forward in order to spare the actual Russian troops in the fighting, which is causing many casualties.
Hardly any experts had recently considered it possible that Ukraine would be able to hold the city. British intelligence recently assumed that Russia would conquer the entire Luhansk region within the next two weeks. With the Ukrainians’ counter-offensive, however, that could take a little longer.

By contrast, the newspaper EFSYN, published by its own staff, is striving for a more realistic portrayal
Battle thriller in Severontonetsk
Paramilitaries of the fascist battalion “Right Sector”, reinforced by heavily armed foreign mercenaries, took the Russian forces by surprise, who went on the counterattack and eventually occupied the city. ● Heavy losses for the Ukrainians. ● The Russians are destroying warehouses with Western weapons.
… Let’s start with everyone’s greatest thriller, the Ukrainians’ hopeless “punitive operation” in the three-sided Severontonetsk encircled by three sides.
Seeing that they were losing forever their last stronghold in the province of Lugansk, the Ukrainian paramilitaries of the fascist “Right Sector” battalion, who had been stranded in the industrial zone of Severontonetsk and especially in the chemical factory Azot, proceeded on Friday night to a militarily inexplicable counterattack towards the already Russian-occupied center of the city, reinforced by a group of a few dozen heavily armed foreign mercenaries – consisting mainly of fanatical anti-Russian Georgians, but also French, British and Australian volunteers.
This motley “commando” did indeed temporarily surprise the Russian-speaking militiamen and Chechen fighters operating there, recovering and turning several inhabited districts into battlefields. Thus, in combination with the accurate – thanks to live satellite information from the US – artillery firings from the outskirts of the city, it caused significant losses not only to the fighters, but mainly to the Russian-speaking civilians of Severontonetsk, “punishing them” – according to posts in the Ukrainian social media – for the audacity they showed by welcoming the liberators warmly and publicly, for them, their compatriots.
However, after the first shock, Russians and Chechens counterattacked with cover of aircraft, helicopters and a fierce barrage of artillery, and on Sunday night the Russian Staff announced the final capture of Severontonetsk, as it appears that their last stronghold at Azot was abandoned, with the few Ukrainian survivors retreating aron to the also surrounded by three sides Lisitsansk, leaving behind dead, wounded and all their heavy weaponry.
In dire straits
The losses of the Ukrainian and foreign volunteers, however, seem to be very heavy, as the Russian ULA mentions hundreds of dead and destruction of up to 90% of the Ukrainian armed formations (parts of the elite 79th Airborne Brigade, two battalions of conscripts of the 111th Territorial Defence Brigade and of course the neo-Nazi paramilitaries mentioned above) that were still operating in the city.
And of course, the concentration of thousands of Ukrainians in Lisicsansk is far from protecting them, since even a simple glance at the map shows how dire their position is and how much more difficult it becomes from hour to hour for a possible retreat to the second heavily fortified line of defense, namely the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk axis.
Russian pyrotechnicians are said to have already entered the Azot factory, where Ukrainians have reportedly explosively trapped huge tanks containing nitrate and nitric acid, following the “scorched earth” policy they have already demonstrated by blowing up factories and dams and destroying entire towns and villages in other areas of donbass as well.
Perhaps the worst crime of the last 24 hours, at least from a historical and religious point of view, is the arson of the famous wooden Church of All Saints at the Monastery of Agia Lavra in Svyatogorsk, one of the holiest places for Russian Orthodoxy, west of the newly occupied by the Russian city of Liman: the two sides, as usual, are accused of each other, but it is certain that no Russian would ever set fire to his own church, nor would he murder (at least) four monks. Besides, the temple has been burned before, by the original Nazis, during the previous battle for the liberation of Donbass, after the battle of Kursk in 1943…
As in Lisitsansk, in Sviatogorsk things are not at all good for the Ukrainians, as the Russians have reached the outskirts and have already occupied the suburb of Yarovaya in the north, advancing from three directions.
The bridges on the river have already been blown up and the only way left to the defenders of Sviatogorsk is to escape by swimming (!) to Slavyansk, the headquarters of the Ukrainian army in Donbass, where everyone is preparing for the “mother of battles”, which will apparently begin within the next 24 hours.
All the more so since we have now entered June, temperatures are rising and with them the level of the hitherto impassable Severski Donets River is falling, allowing it to be much easier for the attackers to pass through without the heavy losses that have marked previous attempts.
On the brink of collapse seems to be yet another stronghold of the Ukrainians south of Lisicansk, in Zolote, but also one of the keys of the Ukrainian defense on the southern wall of the “cauldron”, in Avdiivka, where the bombing of the Russians is very intense, as it is the point from which the great Russian-speaking city of Donetsk has been systematically bombed – not only this year, but for eight years now –: In fact, the Ukrainians of Avdiivka again bombed the centre of Donetsk with Grad rockets on Saturday night, killing at least five civilians…

Some like it hot
The pro-Russian and neutral sources are disputing that. It’s true there was a Ukrainian counteroffensive. And they for a time made advances. But now after heavy fighting in Severodonetsk, the positions are back where they were to start with. And the Ukrainian manpower losses were extremely large. That was just one more Ukrainian attempt at a PR victory for the press to report on. They suffer severe losses each time they try that. And really don’t hold up the Russians for long.
What the Ukrainians should be more worried about in my opinion are those massive number of Russian tanks showing up in the Kherson area. There very well might be an offensive being prepared to liberate the Nikolaev area from that direction. And from there it would be a short distance to either Krivoy Rog to the northeast. Or even more important for the future,Odessa in the southwest.
I won’t trust too much on Readovka news. Too much not confirmed claims pushed and later not much RF/DPR/LPR advancing. This war will be long and Ukies are still dogged fighting.
As I’ve said many times, once the Ukrainians see that Russia is winning and they are safe from the Kiev regime. Their true feelings will start to come out. One good example of that is this one:
Ex-commander of the battalion of the defense forces of Kherson Dmitry Kuzmenko applied for a Russian passport
The Ukrainian military man, together with his wife, brought the necessary package of documents to the passport center. Dmitry Kuzmenko also said that he was ready, if necessary, to defend the city from the Ukrainian authorities together with the Russian army. https://t.me/readovkanews/35937
“Military Chronicle” reproduces a “curious analysis of the first 100 days of combat operations from Western military experts,” without saying who the “experts” are.
Nevertheless, it is an interesting take on the war, coinciding with some points I have made before, e.g., Russia’s pre-emptive attack that took Ukraine by surprise.

FIERCE BATTLES NEAR Bakhmut – MEAT GRINDER! A fresh batch of captured horsemen near the Estuary. Yuri Podolyaka and fight videos-morning of June 6 (20 videos)
“…A curious analysis of the first 100 days of combat operations from Western military experts:
The Ukrainian army was preparing for war, the necessary densities of troop groups, supplies were created, and the troops on the front line actively received Western military assistance sent since January. But from the very first days, Russian troops managed to impose the initiative on the Ukrainian Armed Forces, breaking the pre-war plans of the Ukrainian side and securing positions primarily for advancing in the south. This direction turned out to be the main one, which was the biggest strategic mistake of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and NATO, who assumed that the main attack would be delivered in the Kharkiv region and the DPR.
The Russian army has shown an unprecedented level of air mobility, which only the United States and possibly China can currently afford. A high level of coordination between various groups was demonstrated, which allowed for coordinated operations along the entire front line. There is a high level of operational and strategic intelligence from the Russian side, which allows the Russian command to calmly navigate the situation and choose priority targets without panic and fuss. At the same time time in a number of cases, there was an underestimation of the enemy, as well as an overestimation of their own forces.
The high level of the Russian defense industry in terms of mass production of modern equipment and ammunition, especially high-precision weapons, was demonstrated. It became clear that the so-called “Days of Military acceptance”, which the Russian Defense Ministry regularly held for several years, were a cover-up operation and had nothing to do with the real state of affairs.

Lone Wolf
You know what I like about the Ukie Nazis? Their communication style. I mean, they’ve really got the gift of subtlety. They generate amazingly believable propaganda.
Just consider today’s Western MSM headlines.
There are multiple stories about the Ukies’ gargantuan casualty levels. It’s acknowledged the Ukraine is losing more troops per day than America did at the height of the Vietnam War. These articles are now questioning whether the Ukraine will be able to continue the war for much longer. That’s on top of numerous reports about Ukie defeats in and around Severodonetsk.
Naturally, the Ukies need to issue propaganda to counteract the horrible impression made by all these reports of their defeats. That’s understandable.
So, what did the Ukie geniuses publish to control public perception of the situation of Donbass? Get a load of this.
The Ukies are reporting they “destroyed” an “entire Russian army at Izyum.” Seriously. That’s what they’re saying. The clever Ukie propagandists produced this news. They really did.
Yeah, that’s what I like about Ukie government officials. The fact that they don’t exaggerate. They are such believable people.
Amazing things happening – both from the Russian MoD:
The penny is dropping in many places. This Ukie soldier:
Surrendered AFU soldier urges his comrades-in-arms to lay down their arms
💬 “…Listen to me, comrades! This is not our war. If someone wanted to ally himself with NATO, look what happens. I don’t need NATO. I lived well without NATO, and I want to continue to live well. Just STOP fighting. I wish there wouldn’t be such things, neither fascism nor madhouse we live in…”
——-
And the Russian troops just let 80 or so of them swim away:
The Russian Armed Forces are completing the liberation of Svyatogorsk in Donetsk People’s Republic and its surrounding territory.
▫️In order to prevent Ukrainian troops from retreating from Svyatogorsk, Ukrainian nationalist formations acting as barrier troops today have blown up a bridge over the Seversky Donets River.
▫️Under the onslaught of Russian units, the remnants of the battalions of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade and the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade of the AFU, cut off from the main forces and supplies by blowing up the bridge, abandoned their military equipment along with their weapons and dispersed along the coast.
▫️Up to 80 Ukrainian soldiers swam across the river. They were not specifically targeted by Russian servicemen.
▫️We consider the refusal of Ukrainian soldiers to defend the useless Kiev regime led by nationalists to be the only right thing to do, not cowardice. In doing so, they all saved their lives.
❗️We urge all soldiers and members of Ukraine’s territorial defence units to follow this example and stop mindlessly resisting in order to save their lives.
▫️The Russian Armed Forces, in return, guarantee all Ukrainian servicemen and members of territorial defence units who have voluntarily laid down their arms to be treated with dignity and returned to their families.
Russian Defence Ministry spokesperson Major General Igor Konashenkov
…………
But then again: Russian Strategic Missile Force Commander Colonel General Sergey Karakayev announces that on June 5th, the 2nd regiment of intercontinental ballistic missiles integrating Avangard hypersonic glide vehicles was preparing to go on combat alert.
I am hoping all the Ukrainian military lays down their arms. The Avov Nazis, SBU and other criminals will not. In Ukie – if you have $4,000 you can buy your way out of the military. It was about $1200 before the start of the war. They conscript the poor and old men.
“If someone wanted to ally himself with NATO, look what happens.”
Deep point. “We want to join NATO.” Worse, “They have a right to join NATO. Russia will invade.”
The soldier is so obviously right. It makes no sense if then there’s a war and it becomes impossible to join NATO, and if what joining NATO was supposed to avoid actually happens!
Perhaps Russia could have been clearer to Ukraine, but it was clear for the United States which even gave an invasion date(s). Still, Russia was not just “training” at the border. Russia denied it was going to invade several times.
Russia had already announced that Ukraine planned to invade the Donbass weeks before the invasion (after the war started, it informed that this would have happened on March 8). Russia was coming then…
Zelensky told Biden on the phone that he did not think an invasion was imminent, and Biden yelled at him that the invasion was about to happen. The media reported this. So, Zelensky acted as if he believed the Russian answer that they were just practicing drills close to the border.
I think Russia decided to invade weeks earlier. The only possible way to avoid the SMO after that was to renounce joining NATO and renounce the Donbass…Ukraine could not even do the first thing, which it should have done. The soldier(s) is right.
Nothing made sense in 2014 either. The 2014 coup or expulsion of the president finally led to this. Was that its objective? No, it wasn’t, then why have the coup? There is a lack of intelligence there from A to Z.
https://t.me/stranaua/45742. They say here:
After Zaporozhye, Zelensky went to the Donbass and visited the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Soledar (Donetsk region) and Lysychansk (Luhansk).
Place of toughest battles! What, he is not a legitimate target?
When considering whether to get rid of some enemy leader, the first question must always be “Who will replace him ?” A brilliant and charismatic leader like Japanese Admiral Yamamoto was irreplaceable, so the Americans killed him at the first opportunity. But how could any replacement for Elensky be worse ?
I’m sure the Russian leaders know what they are doing.
NATO is noting more than a series of delivery outlets for America’s MIC. When you look at the staggering numbers of western weapons dumped in Ukraine, it’s clear that they are no match for an actual plan. Biden eventually will say he’s done everything he can, and that Ukraine failed him.

……On the ground in the center and east, block-to-block fighting in Severodonetsk continues. There were Ukrainian claims on Saturday and Sunday of having regained some earlier lost ground. However, on Monday morning the Ukrainian head of the Luhansk regional administration said the situation had “worsened a bit.”……
Asia Times is a noteworthy site only due to its’ being a mouthpiece for US NGO’s and think tanks. It used to, about 15 years ago, provide reasonably balanced articles but was either acquired by a different group or coerced into a more …. nuanced … approach.
I still parse it for data.
couple of minor points….UK Ben Wallace says gonna send some UK MRLS to the Ukraine.
Re photos of Darnitsa car plant…none showed ant tanks inside….so they must be somewhere else….ready to be targeted….and or as not being able to be finally kitted out they may still be sent to front line and eady targets???? Or not kitted out just held back in a museum?
BY doubling the gas and the petrol prices in EU and in UK and in US.
You don’t count winning or losing by petty-minded behavior. You don’t count winning or losing by how many conference group pictures.
You count winning or losing by land and by money.
Got it?
For one, I guess the Serbs became even more Anti-NATO.
Saker Staff, Did you guys intentionally link the Military Summary Channel video from May 25, 2022 instead of the most recent one?
When this was written and posted, the 25th was the most recent one. And the early morning Russian Mod report on the 26th was the most recent one.
When I watched a few Military Summary Channel videos, I was quite impressed. However, A couple of days ago they made a video in which they said that Ukraine said that their counter offensive retook 80% of Severodonetsk, and they (The Military Summary Channel) did not dismiss it as bullshit. Instead, they said that would tell us us if it was true or not the following day but in the following day’s video no mention was made of the accuracy of this claim by Ukraine.
Also, in their description of themselves they state “We condemn any aggression in Ukraine”.
Well, they did explain – the best explanation of what happened (and nobody knew at the time) came from Rybar and that was cross posted in the Military Summary channel. So, it was not that they did not explain, it was that you evidently did not see it. In this sitrep we included the explanation from Boris Rozin, which we very seldom use but it was thought that he brought in the connection to the Artemovsk-Seversk-Lysychansk highway.
I condemn any and all aggression in the Ukraine especially the aggression of the previous 8 years that necessitated the Russian decision of a SMO – which is self-defense for the two Republics and for Russia herself.
It seems as if you don’t understand that things at times go very fast, and by the time a report is made or a map is drawn, it is already out of date.

“…It seems as if you don’t understand that things at times go very fast, and by the time a report is made or a map is drawn, it is already out of date…”
———————————————-
True, but…the fact remains, regardless of how fast events move in a conflict zone, Ukraine never took back 80% of Severodonetsk, which is what Military Summary replicated. In fact, they didn’t even take 10%. Or 5%.
Their counterattack ended up with colossal loses and a retreat to their positions in the Azot plant, the industrial area, and Lysychans’k.
As for the not-so neutral blanket statement “We condemn any aggression on Ukraine,” it doesn’t look good if the pretension of “neutrality” cannot be seen without a contextual explanation, such as your channeling of whatever they meant by that.
On another note, I believe we are all responsible for our own analysis, and cannot blame anyone for the misinformation we don’t filter. I don’t watch Military Summary, don’t know them, it could have been an honest mistake. Or not.
Lone Wolf
Lone Wolf, don’t even try that channeling stuff and putting words in my mouth. Just don’t.
I’m glad your crystal ball is superior to all other crystal balls out there. But, I tell you, you forget the circumstances at the time.
Truly, I don’t care about those that wanna be right!
Amaranth, I like your statement “Truly, I don’t care about those that want to be right”. There are some commenters on this blog who always want to be right. Whose ego is prominent. Lone wolf is not one of them. I, personally, never let my get ego get bruised when someone disagrees with me (or responds to me with snide remarks).
Your interpretation of the remark “We condemn any aggression in Ukraine” may be correct. Or it may not be. I really don’t know what Military Summary Channel means when they say it.
In a recent post I said that Military Summary Channel was the best military analyst by far. Since then I have experienced some doubts. i have no emotional investment regarding them. In fact, the speaker (I think his name is Dima) lives in Belarus which is my ethnicity. So if anything, I am biased toward him.
Military Summary Channel, admittedly, uses Ukrainian AND Russian “sources”. Maybe their Ukrainian ‘sources” don’t always tell the truth.
And the fact that they look at the Ukie sources as well, is a good thing . that is exactly why it is valuable. And Dima is very close to the action of course. Usually, it turns out that the Ukies lie their heads off .. and it is a good thing to be able to point out those lies. He has managed to break through the bubble of pro-Russian listeners to a much wider base. That is a good thing.
On another note .. the early eddies …
Here is one .. : Milan’s worldwide famous La Scala opera theater will start its new season with the Boris Godunov opera of Russian composer Modest Mussorgsky.
“I’m not for witch hunts … I’m not in favour of the cancellation of Russian works, and when I read Pushkin, I don’t hide,” superintendent Dominique Meyer said, commenting on the decision, as quoted by the ANSA news agency.
Here is another .. in England with the festivities around the queen, one of the decorations was a black sun .. the people on the streets pointed it out – so people themselves are aware.
This is what India has to say: Indian foreign ministry tells the EU, very politely, to basically fvck off as Europe complains India is buying russian oil. India said they’ll always go for the best deal on the market and that Europe’s problems are not their problems.
Biden and whoever just declared a US Energy Emergency .. and are trying to convince Venezuela and Iran to send oil to Europe. Btw, they won’t pay for it – it will be to pay the debts, says the US admin.
Here is one more: Kadyrov: Russia is behind us, together we are strong! And we will defeat not only Ukraine as we are not even at war with Ukraine. We will defeat NATO, we will punish US allies. America, knowing that they are far away, wither and just use European states for its own objectives.
Here is another: Russia will redirect its Internet traffic through Asia in case of disconnection from European exchange points – Shadayev, head of the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation
Soon the kinetic part of this SMO will be over, and we will move to either the breakup of the Ukraine, or Russia will take it. We will await some serious reconfiguration in the whole of Europe.
You should all follow Medvedev’s telegram channel. Here are the last few from him, machine translated
Dmitry Medvedev, [6/6/22 2:46 AM]
The dreaded sixth package.
The European Commission adopted the sixth package of sanctions in order to tear Russia’s economy to shreds for sure now. But, apparently, the goal is not Russia, but the fire of a global revolution in the economy.
Only some have forgotten that revolution devours its children.
1. A phased oil embargo.
To refuse from our oil at once – is impossible. Our own citizens and businesses can be turned against the wall. So they decided to stretch out the project for several months to find alternative sources of supply. Now Europeans will have to scour the world in search of raw materials of the same quality. And they will face shortages of certain fuels, such as diesel, which is essential for trucks and agricultural machinery.
And they know that they will still have to find “gray” schemes to get our raw materials, to pay for them somehow, getting around their own idiotic sanctions.
And this despite the fact that truckers are already on strike in Italy, Poland and Hungary have blocked the entry of foreign cars, the bastard authorities in Warsaw have refused to supply raw materials to Ukraine at all and will now only sell them. It seems that the “people’s war cudgel”, which will properly hit the European officials, has already been swung.
They tried to bag another pig – a ban on the insurance of tankers with Russian oil to complicate supplies to third countries.
Europe is not at all interested in how this measure will affect our partners. This problem is solvable – the issue of supply insurance may be closed due to the government guarantees within the framework of intergovernmental agreements with third countries. Russia has always been a responsible and reliable partner, and will remain so in the future.
2. Sanctions against the National Settlement Depository of Russia.
All for the sake of shouting out loud: “The goal is achieved, Russia is in default.
Only this is just another lie. We have never refused to pay.
So what will happen? Russia will not pay, Russia will not pay back, although we have every opportunity to do so. And the investment sphere will be dealt a crushing blow. European imbeciles, in their zeal, have once again shown that they consider their own citizens and businesses to be enemies no less than the Russians.
As a result, no one will get anything – neither at home nor abroad. Investments have turned to dust.
3) Cutting off Sberbank, Moscow Credit Bank and Rosselkhozbank from SWIFT.
Another attempt to “seriously” sting. The banks continue to operate normally, while the internal Russian operations do not depend on SWIFT and are carried out in the standard mode.
The talented Europeans can continue in the same vein: introduce new, as they now like to say, 100500th package of sanctions. Judging by how the restrictions are working and where the economic situation in the EU is heading amid the ridiculous anti-Russian scaremongering, something went wrong.
————-
This one speaks volumes from Medvedev:
People often ask me why my Telegram posts are so harsh.
The answer is that I hate them. They are bastards and scum. They want us, Russia, dead. And as long as I am alive, I will do everything I can to make them disappear.
Those are very interesting eddies. Thank you for posting them.

https://t.me/stranaua/45742. They say here:
After Zaporozhye, Zelensky went to the Donbass and visited the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Soledar (Donetsk region) and Lysychansk (Luhansk).
Place of toughest battles! What, he is not a legitimate target?
———————————————————————————
How do we know he went there, for sure? Pics are not proof, he has been photoshopped before. I seriously doubt he went to either one. Which route did he follow to Lysychans’k? Did he go by plane? Chopper?
Soledar is on and to the west of the “Road of Death” between Bakhmut and Lysychans’k, and as the SitRep points out, quoting “Colonel Cassad,”
“…5. So far, the RF Armed Forces have ensured complete fire control over the route, which has already affected the supply of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk. But there is no complete block on the highway yet, so individual vehicles and groups are still passing; however full-fledged supply, which was possible back in the first half of May, can no longer be ensured, despite all efforts to push the RF Armed Forces away from the area of Belogorovka and Berestovoye. The current task of the RF Armed Forces in this direction is to grind the enemy’s reserves in the upcoming battles and cross the Artemovsk-Lysychansk highway…”
So, clown Zelensky went to Soledar to show his “courage and determination,” risking his life by putting himself within reach of Russian artillery. Or Airspace Forces. Or an ambush. Or a visit from Comrade Kalibr. Etc.
Yet another lie to stomach.
Zelensky is a coward, he is not even in Ukraine. He might travel to Kiev to meet foreign visitors, back to the US embassy in Warsaw.
Lone Wolf
“he is not even in Ukraine. He might travel to Kiev to meet foreign visitors…”
In war, I think no president gets to have that convenient, private little universe. Only if he is looking for a coup does he live in Warsaw, which could be true somehow, that he wishes to be deposed right around now. Otherwise, Zelensky is in Kiev because living and being commander in chief like that would give a perfect excuse (or accusation) for a coup. Presidents stay when there is war against Russia, and with it the chance of a coup against the “crazy man” who “dragged us into this war.” Flying back and forth like that would not be safe either, or less safe than staying in Kiev.
One of the most followed (800k+) Russian speaking vloggers is ‘Alexander from Florida’ https://www.youtube.com/c/%D0%A1%D0%B0%D0%BD%D1%8F%D0%92%D0%BE%D0%A4%D0%BB%D0%BE%D1%80%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5
He opens each (daily renewed) vlog with Pelosi’s ‘Slava Uchanie’ (therewith very cleverly befuddling the YT censors) and offers very detailed battlefront news with maps, videos & photos. From Florida he mocks the US Biden adminstration perspective on the SMO with a great sense of humour.
In his latest vlog he expounds in detail the story of how a very expensive Ukrainian fighter jet was being downed by nationalist UAF rockets, which was first hailed in the western media as a Russian fighter jet but is now proved to be Ukrainian. Seeing such spectres it becomes beyond doubt who was responsible for downing MH17.

Operation Z: Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring

‼️🇺🇦🏴☠️The Russian army has accumulated strength and went on the offensive immediately in 3 sectors of the front. The next week will be difficult for the Armed Forces of Ukraine – full summary from Arestovich
▪️A bunch of artillery was brought to Severodonetsk and the Armed Forces of Ukraine were forced to maneuver under attack. The RF Armed Forces have removed troops from the Bakhmutovsky direction and are cutting the Artemovsk-Lysichansk highway. They have promotions there. Maybe even cut.
▪️In the direction of Slavyansk, a super-powerful concentration of Russian forces. The siege of the city can go in a week. Our defense in the north of the city is very difficult and their prospects are very unclear.
▪️The Izyum-Slavic grouping of Russian troops is successfully advancing in the direction of Svyatogorsk, and also went to the highway to Barvenkovo.
▪️The situation in the Zaporozhye region may escalate – the Russians are concentrating troops in the Vasilyevka region, south of Zaporozhye.

Re Australian poodles provocations: I really do hope that the Chinese give the cowardly, treasonous Australian military and prostiticians a bloody nose and worse.
I count about 100 extra aircraft into Kaliningrad today. Is this an evacuation or? See Flightradar24 statistics.
If true, that would more likely be increasing forces there. Kaliningrad would for a short time be isolated. And would need to be able to hold out for the few days it would take for Russian (and maybe Belorussian as well ) troops to destroy Polish and Lithuanian forces attacking Kaliningrad and relieve the siege. Then the troops once united would cut a swathe through Poland and knocking them out of the war. For unlike in Ukraine there would be no brotherly feelings holding Russia back from unleashing their entire devastating firepower on that country.
With what forces? Putin has clearly stated, that even a partial mobilization is out of question.
You do remember that the Russians are only using less than 15% of their military forces in the SMO. That means at least 85% have been held back to deal with NATO if they get “frisky and want to dance”.But besides that, mobilizing reserves in case of a NATO attack would not take long. And as I also mentioned there are the Belorussian forces. Belarus, in case of an attack on Kaliningrad would be aware a major war was at hand and send forces to support the Russian forces as well.It would be a fatal mistake for Poland to attack Kaliningrad. It would be the end of the Polish regime in power there, and the devastation of Poland. There would be no “mr nice guy” when fighting a Russophobic enemy. The Ukraine “brother rules” would not apply with Poland. There would need to be an object lesson applied so that when the Russian forces reach the Oder the Germans (and others further west) will be scrambling to turn out their own regime and declare themselves neutral. Hoping to avoid Poland’s fate.I believe Germany and the others would be given the “Finland choice” (though whether Finland will get that choice today is debatable),and told to expel the NATO (US) forces from their territory and then they would not be invaded. If it comes to war NATO will have to be eliminated in entirety from Europe and those countries made neutral. Half measures would not apply any more.
Why do people still ask these inane questions? Are they children needing to be spoon fed?
It would seem it is expected that militias of Donetsk and Lugansk, who in fact are conscripted, will fight all the way to Lviv.
You couldn’t have said it any better!
the canadian media is saying “the chinese CLAIM canadian jets blah blah”. maybe they “claim it” because it happened. it’s always funny watching the MSM try to put lipstick and a pretty summer dress on violating sovereign airspace. they also said an aussie pilot pulling the same sh_t came back with a damaged plane because the chinese pilots “threw pieces of aluminum” at it. WT actual F?
the EU/NATO “states” are trying to figure out how many slices they each get while the russians keep eating the pizza. in a broad sense, i predict a LOT of “disaster capitalism” in what’s left of ukraine. those blowed up soviets weapons the west dumped there were never “gifts” and the IMF crowd are already picking out curtains for the 4th summer house they plan to buy privatizing the hell out what’s left after the bombing stops.
also following the taking of “several donuts”. this whole operation has been interesting, but i have a special interest in the merc (and merc LARPing) foreign trash that ends up caught or turned into a stain. not sure if azot will be a new azovstal but the chemicals there could be a factor…?
I have read that allied forces liberated the northern DPR town of Svyatogorsk and two small LPR villages.

And finally, Ukrainian POWs have condemned Zelensky in this new video:
https://southfront.org/in-video-ukrainian-servicemen-addressed-president-zelensky/
MSNBC reported today that in the areas Russia controls in the South and East, rubbles are the currency used, Russian TV channels are replacing Ukrainian TV channels, and people are being offered Russian passports, and some other things (bringing educational changes too). If so, that’s permanent. Who can change that? Where does the Gym-style free membership principle for military alliances surrounding Russia fit into this reality? It does not fit now, and it did not fit earlier this year either. The insistence on that free membership principle that now shall be forgotten was carried all the way to Geneva! We watched its advocates expound on it on television. I think quite a few aficionados watched their “free membership” advocacy with utmost interest, even fascination. The United States needs to replace a lot of high officials, both military and civilian, evidently, and that’s all (Britain too).
As usual I found the sitrep analysis very informative for tactical detail, but I am puzzled why no mention is made of air support for any of the Russian operations.
IIRC, it was Military Summary who said that Russian warplanes are now using stand-off weapons so they don’t have to fly over UAF-controlled areas. Presumably a lot more MANPADS from the West caused this change. Stand-off rockets are not as photogenic as jets and helicopters, but that doesn’t mean aircraft are not in the battles. This is a small “win” for the West, because cheap MANPADS cause Russia to not use gravity bombs which would be far cheaper, were it not for the loss of aircraft and crews. But inevitably those MANPADS will show up in coming years near Western airports and then we will see who pays the higher price. Right now, all the terrorists are owned by the West, so of course rogue weapons don’t worry the Empire, but if the West loses control over their proxies, well that’s a different story.
In terms of troop capacity, don’t forget RA is also training DPR and LPR forces constantly.
The troops are getting more and more integrated and better able to work together over time under leadership of the Russian generals on the ground.
So in terms of reinforcement, thre is local capacity provided the Russians can train new recruits to:-
– hold positions taken
– do minor or simpler work on front lines
This decreases the need to pull in more armed forces from Russia. The time frame of the operation is also good for training up the L and D troops.
What is needed is Russian technology, leadership, special forces and generals. That is essential.
Don’t forget the D and L are not too shabby. They held off Ukranians Armed Forces for a long time. They also have capacity to double recruitment.
I would be interested in knowing more about Russian plan for training in the republics and South. my guess is Russia has factored in specialised training units in its forward.
Also important to consider why UAF are not retreating on Donbass
Donbass is gone. They know it.
The reason in my view fir continuing to fight there is to degrade Russian capacity to take the South and to buy time and tie up Russian troops while they look to take the South.
I see the troops fighting in the East as holding forces. I believe the aim of the UkroNATO regime is to tie down Russia in East and strike very fast in South with large numbers to take ports.
” I believe the aim of the UkroNATO regime is to ……. strike very fast in South with large numbers to take ports”
And how would they be able to that in the real world that exists? No command and control, no air support, little to no armour, Russian dominance of air, sea, and land.
Polish troops and others have been steadily crossing over. Moldova is a second base.
UAF have significant troops there.
It’s close to borders with hostile countries.
I would not underestimate how difficult it could be to take the South as they will throw everything at it, mines, weapons, foreign battalions, plus the border risk.
These are obviously just risks. I don’t know what the state of play and preparation all round is but my guess is most weapons will go to South not East. They will work hard to entrench positions. And Poland or others will allow air base there probably. This is Ukr last life line to port access.
Don’t forget the top 3 positions on Ukraine president, VP, defence are held by Jews who are well briefed and active participants in Heavenly Jerusalem project.
That project which is over half billion funded intends to make Ossietra abd other cities in South 404 home to 5 million Jews.
They want the troublesome as they put it much wasting UkR Slavs to get out of UKR and for it to be divided to fulfill their plan.
So this suits them just fine.
What they did not expect is that Russia will take the South.
Their plan was Jewish de facto state in South UKR by 2045 to 2060.
Russia taking South messes that up.
So this idea Israel is neutral is nonsense. They want UKR land. Demographically they will be a minority in decade to come due to birthrate of Arab Israeli. So they seem to want the askenazi out and leave the darker Jews there.
Ashkenazi hate being told they are Asian as Israel is in Asia. They want to be European, la belle de la belle, la crème de la crème.
Slavs are like Palestinians to them.
So expect lots of Israeli special forces in the South.
The only other situation of confrontation similar to this by Australia was years ago in the late 1960s when Russian Badgers were about Darwin and jets scrambled to confront them. Apparently the Russian pilots just smiled and carried on. The Australian fighter pilot landed – basically freaked out – repented and became a member of the Worldwide Church of God.

Donbass offensive: situation in eastern Ukraine by the end of June 7, 2022
– Fighting continues in the north of Kharkiv region. Specifically in: Tsupovka, near Velyki Prokhody, in Rubizhne and Ternova.
Additionally, In Dementievka, a unit of the 92nd AFU brigade has been blocked.
The Russian Armed Forces attacked AFU positions in Odnorobivka, Korotych, Basovo, Ivashki, Cherkaskiye Tishki and Kharkiv itself.
– Svyatogorsk has been completely liberated. There have been no battles on the territory of Svyatogorsk Lavra between the Russian Armed Forces and the AFU, and there are no military units on the territory of the complex. It is most likely that an agreement was reached between the warring parties on the preservation of the shrine. This is indirectly evidenced by the Ukrainian accusations against the mayor of Svyatogorsk of “switching to the side of the occupants”
– Units of the 20th Army of the Russian Armed Forces advancing from Izyum have reached the outskirts of Bohorodychne: battles are currently ongoing for the settlement. — At the same time, the buffer zone on the M03 highway is expanding: there are battles for Dolina and Krasnopolye in the forested areas.
– Part of the Servicemen belonging to the 115th AFU brigade retreated from Severodonetsk to Lysychansk.
In the city, pockets of resistance remain in the industrial zone near the Azot plant: units of the 81 Airmobile Brigade together with mercenaries of the International Legion of Territorial Defense are holding their ground there. Russian Armed Forces units are successfully fighting north of Borovskoye, pushing back the AFU from the forested areas into the the airfield and the nearby village.
— Near Popasna, the enemy continues to redeploy mobilized servicemen to the frontline north of Kamyshevakha. Fierce battles continue on the lines of Yakovlevka – Bilohorivka – Berestove – Mykolaivka. To the south, fighting continues for Novoluganskoye and the Uglegorsk thermal power plant.
— Ukraine has moved reinforcements to Avdiivka.
– DNR units are fighting for the southern outskirts of Niu York.
– The Ukrainian armed forces are preparing for a counterattack in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
– Assault groups of the 81st Brigade of the AFU are concentrating in Huliaiypole and preparing to attack Marfopil from two directions to expand their security zone.
– The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched strikes on Russian Armed Forces positions near Piatykhatky. In response, the 128 AFU Brigade’s concentration areas in Kamyanske and Shcherbaki were hit by Russian Forces.
– Foreign mercenaries were spotted near Novoandriivka.

The Biden administration had no commemoration yesterday or even a mention of the D-Day Normandy invasion, nor did it remember this day last year. His staff forgot, rather. It’s okay for him to forget, I think. Blinken must have been too busy, or he does not speak much with France, maybe. Did president Macron not organize something special yesterday, the 78th anniversary of D-Day, to thank the country that saved France from Nazism? I remember the speech Ronald Reagan gave at Normandy on a June 6 commemoration speech. He looked toward the graves and cried when he said, “They were so young.”
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/biden-ripped-for-d-day-after-thought-hours-late-unconscionable/ar-AAYbikt?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=64ff728e80744758b3b9871600957dc1
If you are looking for Blinken he has been flying down to East Africa alot. Specifically Kenya to persuade Kenyans to get rid of mutual defence pact with Ethiopia. Also adding in Russia sanctions etc.
So far Kenya governent has told him to politely f off.
However as the Kenyans note they can’t fight a superpower and they are trying to get a handle on exactly what the US in planning as HUGE US troo build up in East Africa.alsk strong Russian and Chinese interests there.
So the neo cons are all in East Africa if you are looking for them.
