That was a very hostile interviewer. I don’t follow Al Jazeera but I’ve heard – in this forum perhaps – that it’s more of a western tool nowadays. Soraya held her own extremely well – great analysis from her.
It is Quatari state sponsored media. Therefore it should come as no surprise that its content and agenda mimics those of the other totalitarian monarchies ruling the gulf states. All completely dependent upon the empires’ weaponry and military support. As long as the petro-dollar system of exchange exists, the accepting of us dollars in exchange for gulf state crude oil, they are bound by the empire as vassals. Consider what they can do with those dollars and the entire situation becomes quite clear. They can purchase us weaponry, us treasury bonds, us assets and us security contractors. This is not only true for the criminal gulf monarchies. It is true for empire’s puppet regimes worldwide. Essentially the empire allows these stooges the privilage of being the supporters of their military, militarism, never-ending wars, private banks, financial speculators, and weapons industry. It lets the fed’s printing presses to work non-stop. It allows the west’s private banks to prosper while enslaving not only governments but individuals with debt of many types.
It seems to me the news on Al Jazeera weren’t quite as bad and hostile to common sense a few years ago? Soraya Sepahpour does a great job of disentagling the mess she’s presented with, but this hardly makes for coherent reporting.
The reason Al-Jazeera is hostile is that it is owned by the sunni extremist government of the emirate of Qatar, which is one of the countries funding wahabi mercenaries trying, and failing, to take over Syria, an important ally of Iran and Hezbollah.
It’s sad that such a sh*tty little country – if it can even be called a country – can cause so much sorrow. It can bc it is a US client.
Of the 2 million people living in Qatar, only 12% are qatari nationals!
The statement by war criminal and former intel chief of Zaudi Arabia, Bandar bin Sultan, that Qatar is 200 families and a tv station ain’t far from the mark.
Sepahpour did an excellent job; the questioning was aggressive but she unbundled the clearly deliberate confusion offered to viewers such as references to the so-called international community and its view on these various issues. While no expert on the diplomacy involved, certain points were confirmed which I learned some time ago, such as Iran’s never ever having violated her nuclear obligations. Never. If anyone can tell me otherwise I’d love to hear them, Excellent.
Saker, you are getting lost in the belief that people visit your website for content only
THEY VISIT FOR YOU
These endless post are of interest but where have YOU gone to? I visit this site for your views, not these endless “xyztubes”
Greetings, true about coming to this site for Saker, but I personally appreciate that he add more relevant content.
