Dear friends!
Today is mid-November and we desperately need your support.
Since the beginning of November, our expenses have run away due to we started to produce more videos (X1.5), moved southfront.org to a new powerful, but expensive server, released a free digital book and a number of graphics.
Thanks to your constant support about 10 000 unique users visit southfront.org every day. The SF’s content reaches more then 100 000 people per day through the wide network of our partners and supporters. All this have been achieved with a small even amusing budget – about $3000 per month.
SouthFront works without holidays and weekends, often at night, but its impossible to keep the project alive without your direct support.
Please help SouthFront: Analysis & Intelligence to survive by donating via http://southfront.org/donate/
We thank everyone kindly who has already supported us!

Hi. This is addressed to SF. I view you at the Saker Vineyard and have been sending $100 every month or so via the Saker snail mail.
I’d send more but to tell the truth, I have reservations about the kind of “analysis and intelligence” you offer as it pertains to my own needs. Please don’t misunderstand. You are doing what you do and very well. I appreciate that on that level.
But for me that level of analysis and intelligence is limited and circumscribed by its very excellence. In the long run I’ve got to get out of too narrow a strategy. This is not your problem but mine so I’m not expecting any response.
I’m just expressing how I feel in this vineyard for what it’s worth. It may have no other worth than my own needs. I need to do something useful on my own level which is also relevant to what you’re doing. I’m not sure what that is although I have my own ideas like everyone else. I need to express it in a community that is real. And the war you cover is the most real thing happening now relative to our common future.
In conclusion, I look to others such as yourself and saker for ideas that ring true for me. Here’s a quote in the category of creating solutions to end the horrors of war:
“To create, one must first question everything.” -Eileen Gray
Hi Dennis – try Jung mate everything has made sense since I stated reading some of his books. Even Jung for Dummies. Geo-politics from a Jungian perspective is so much better than the anti-Semitic conspiracy theories etc that are being pushed on us.
Jon
Thanks for your suggestion which sounds like a good one. When I next get to the library I will look up Jung. In fact now that I think of it I can search shortly on this computer. Right now I’m into reading Tolstoy, and Jung may be a good balance.
Some basic Jung reading … might help :-)
Tertullian was born in Carthage somewhere about 160 A.D. He was a pagan, and he abandoned himself to the lascivious life of his city until about his 35th year, when he became a Christian. To him is ascribed the sublime confession: Credo quia absurdum est (I believe because it is absurd).
This does not altogether accord with historical fact, for he merely said: “And the Son of God died, which is immediately credible because it is absurd. And buried he rose again, which is certain because it is impossible.”
Thanks to the acuteness of his mind, he saw through the poverty of philosophical and Gnostic knowledge, and contemptuously rejected it.

Dear Mr. X,
Thank you very much for your attention, support and constructive comments. For our part, we want to assure you that our team clearly understands about what you write: deeper level of analysis of the existent processes, the identification of hidden tendencies, motives and actors. Moreover, if you look at our content up to the beginning of the Syrian crisis, you will find a few of materials on this subject. However, in the current situation, when the world is facing the threat of global war, we see the need to focus on coverage of specific “everyday” facts and highlight the main political issues. In our team there are some people who are engaged in the development of deeper, underlying problems, and we think to start soon the covering their activities.
We kindly ask you to take into account that the project began to work in this format only 3 months earlier and its a volunteer one. As you know, it operates on a minimal budget (50 times less than, for example, Rush Insider), but tries to cover all the most important political issues and the global crisis.
However, we have already heard your point of view and let us assure you that it is not at odds with our own.
In any case, we will do our best to ensure that all the materials are of interest to you.
Yours sincerely,
SouthFront: Analysis & Intelligence Team
Thank you for your kind and open explanation of your situation. I agree with you and am touched that you took the time to provide me with insight into your role in this explosive global crisis. My intention is to continue to support your work although war reports do hurt me when I reflect on the hurts so many suffer, so much greater than my own.
Dear Dennis James Leary, our long comment above is for you.
Yours sincerely,
SouthFront: Analysis & Intelligence Team
