Russian Defence Ministry comments on artillery shelling of admission department of the Russian hospital in #Aleppo:
“Since the start of the operation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, representatives of the United States, Great Britain and France have been telling us about tribulations of under-controlled ‘moderate opposition’.
This applies particularly to reporting on the situation in Aleppo. According to the western officials, the number of terrorists among insurgents active in the city has been decreasing but the number of so-called opposition has been increasing each and every week.
The opposition, as they say, urgently requires humanitarian aid.
Here come the facts.
Today, from 12:21 a.m. to 12.30 a.m., mobile hospital of the Russian Defence Ministry has suffered artillery shelling by insurgents.
Direct hit of the mortar shell against the admission department of the hospital caused death of the Russian military female medic. Two medical workers have been heavily wounded. Civilians, who had arrived at the hospital, have been wounded as well.
Now, all al-Nusra terrorists, as the western counterparts say, have been encircled by the Syrian army in the southern area of the Eastern Aleppo.
They are unable to carry out such precision strikes.
There is no doubt that the attack was conducted by insurgents of the ‘opposition’. We consider from whom the terrorists have received the information and coordinates of the admission department of the Russian hospital at the start of its operation.
Therefore, the direct perpetrators are not the only who is responsible for the killing and injuring of our medical workers, who had been providing assistance to the children of Aleppo. Namely, insurgents of the ‘opposition’.
The blood of our soldiers is on the hands of the hirer of the murder.
These people, who created, supported and armed these beasts in human form, called them ‘opposition’ to justify themselves towards their own conscience and voters.
Yes, the blood of our soldiers is on your, ladies and gentlemen, the patrons of terrorists from the United States, Britain, France and other countries and sympathizers formations, hands.”
Thank you for your time,
Baaz

American acceptance of torture only matched by Nigeria & Israel – Red Cross poll
https://www.rt.com/news/369356-americans-torture-acceptance-poll/
“A Red Cross poll has found that about half of American respondents believe that torture is a solution for extracting information. The US was matched only by Nigeria, Israel and Palestine.”
I listened to this alot of words with little point.
Why are Russia involved with this organisation? Another organisation that is set up to criticise and undermine them
Jagland who gave the peace prize to Obama has no shame!
I do not understand why Lavrov talk to that subhuman?
The first journalist asking questions is Morten Jentoft – Moskow-korresondent from the norwegian version of BBC (NRK).
I actually belived that things would improve when the previous Moskow-korresondent, and russia-hater (((Hans-Wilhelm Steinfeld))), was repalced.
Steinfeld was a witness to the sniperkillings on the maidan, and was on TV telling norwegians that it was Yanukovych that was murdereing people…
Nobody belived him and he was replaced, but only with a new russia-hater…
Sorry for my bad English.
korresondent? x2 ?
Korrespondent !
“Nobody belived him ”
On the contrary, most people in Norway believes everything he says about Russia and Russian politics.
He is (in most peoples minds) THE expert on Russian affairs. Have written several books on the subject, is often invited in any media in Norway to give his expert opinions on Russia. He is a Jew.
His ego is as big as anybodys (bigger than most).
For me he is a pompous prick of the first order.
I do remember his very emotional reports from Maidan. At the time I had four live channels running, and saw with my own eyes how the snipers operated (as they did in Egypt and elsewhere).
Mr. Steinfeld always try to dominate any individual that have the slightest difference of opinion to his and often uses humiliating tactics and outright “bottom of the pit” (in a civilized world that is) arguments to “win” any discussion/debate.
I remember now especially one interview where he “anecdotally” emphasized his own importance.
He was in a meeting/interview with the mayor I believe of Sct Petersburg. They were served Tea.
The “servant” bringing the Tea was Mr. Putin.
It never occurred to him apparently the reasons why Mr. Putin was present.

Today the US “withdrew” their own proposals for a solution to the Aleppo situation. Once again after Russia accepted US proposals and tried to get started on those ideas the US “backtracked”. This should hopefully be the end of diplomatic dealings with the US over Syria. I said many months ago that the only “real” solution to the war on Syria,is to fight it and win it.The impossibility of trying to get the US to see reason, won’t work. And it needs to just be accepted, that it won’t. And the war won on the battlefield,as it was always meant to be in the first place.

The I agree with your post – this has been obvious for a long time. The Iranians held this view.
The Russians have prolonged this war unnecessarily giving the west the chance to launch the propaganda against them
What was there to gain from an alliance with the USA no one had adequately explained this.
russia is always giving a chance for the west to do the right thing. of course the west doesnt and carries on with their crimes. little do they know, one day, just for a small infraction they will be obliterated. enough will be enough.
“The Russians have prolonged this war unnecessarily”
On the contrary, out of necessity would be more appropriate. Russia needs time to build up it’s strength. (Haven’t you read The Sakers military analysis on this site?. Not to speak of the copious amounts of posters and links on the subject.
In the meantime, Russia is slowly but surely winning the diplomatic/politician war, by adhering to decency and diplomatic skills.
The american politics as “successfully?” implemented for decades as much so, that it has become a habit/obsession, can best be described as a Hammer that see nothing but nails.
Whereas the Russians, not only has a large variety of tools at their disposal, but also know’s how and when to use them.
Sun Tzu “The art of war” might be of interest for you to study.
If you are on smart-phone or tablet (Ipad), I’m afraid you won’t be able to study this publication.
I originally made this in flash, and even though this and other of my publications can be re-published in HTML5, I hesitate to do so at the moment due to time.

“…Rumors about air strikes targeted the #Turkish army and their dogs northern #AlBab…”
Very interesting…I found that report in ANHA (Hawar News Agency)…which appears to be a Kurdish outlet…
http://en.hawarnews.com/warplanes-strike-turkish-army-gangs-north-of-al-bab/
Placelined Al-Bab…the report says…”Unidentified warplanes are striking the town Akhtarin, located north of the Shahba region, it was reported on Tuesday…”
I have no idea on the credibility of these reports…but interesting also in the same piece is a report that Turkey is moving a lot of hardware into Syria…including 15 Leopard tanks…
I found a video on a youtube outlet called “Israeli News Live” that shows pictures of what appear to be a long column of trucks towing large armored vehicles across a border crossing…
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r4ejvSxVMfE
Ignore first minute of clip as it is just intro fluff…I have no idea who this guy is…but he seems to think these reports are real and that the Syrian or Russian jets bombing the Turks in Al-Bab is the excuse Nato is looking for to go in for a full-out war…
He does make a good point that Al-bab is close to Aleppo…only about 30 km…
Someone on the thread made the observation of the date…Dec 7…which was the date of Pearl Harbor…just yesterday we heard that US carrier Eisenhower entered the med…through Suez…last week it was the USS Wasp a big amphib assault ship that entered the med the same way…
So clearly the US is sending in some big guns to the area…
Now we have no idea what the diplomats are actually saying to one another behind closed doors…but we do know the situation on the ground in Aleppo is pretty much over but the crying…here is a good map from Southfront…
https://southfront.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/7dec17-05-aleppo-city1.jpg?x77965
The pocket controlled is now maybe 10 square km…hundreds have already surrendered and bused out on green buses reports RT…
Now the really interesting info comes from none other than WaPo…
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/syrian-army-retakes-aleppos-old-city-as-rebels-discuss-exit/2016/12/07/6ad0bd42-bc52-11e6-91ee-1adddfe36cbe_story.html?utm_term=.69be59bb2110
In a story flied just hours ago…it confirms of course the collapse of the Aleppo pocket…but mopre interestingly it had this to say about the “secret” discussions in Turkey between RF military and FSA …
I think this gives a good insight into the strength of the Russian hand…for everyone here who has been yelping about the Russians’ “counterproductive” diplomacy…I think this illustrates just how clever the Russians have been all along…
As for this talk about Syrian and even Russian jets hitting Erdo’s troops…and even Erdo moving in more hardware…it all amounts to a hill of beans…
There is not going to be any sudden Nato intervention in Syria…the RF air defenses on the ground and off-shore…as I have said many times before…are THE law on the ground…
No one can enter this airspace with hostile intention except on a suicide mission…even the latest Israeli strike was ground-launched…that says to me they don’t even want to fly their jets on a combat mission even inside Israeli airspace (air-launched munitions can easily hit Damascus even from Israel) for fear of being hit…and well-founded fear at that…
What we are seeing is a huge victory…Aleppo is all but done…If the regime change war is not over yet…we have certainly reached a Stalingrad moment in history…
