Syrian government forces, supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces, reportedly eliminated the most battle-tested and well-armed unit of ISIS in the Euphrates River valley last weekend.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, over 800 ISIS members, 13 battle tanks, 39 pickup trucks armed with large-caliber machine guns and 9 mortars and artillery guns were destroyed during the clashes near Ghanem al-Ali village. The ministry added that government forces are now advancing against ISIS along the Euphrates River.
The Syrian Arab Army and its allies took back Sabkha and Ghanem al-Ali villages and continued developing momentum in order to retake the rest of the areas near Maadan seized by ISIS during its large attack last week, according to pro-government sources.
The ISIS-linked news agency Amaq claimed that the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out over 100 airstrikes on ISIS positions in the southern Raqqah countryside over the weekend and claimed that about 50 SAA servicemen were killed in a SVBIED attack.
Reports have been circulating that at least 60 SAA service members have been killed and about 300 others have been missing since the start of the ISIS counter-attack in southern Raqqah.
In central Syria, the SAA and its allies recaptured from ISIS the entire area north of Palmyra liberating about 2,000 km2 from the terrorist group.
The SAA also seized the Syriatel hill 30km east of al-Sukhnah town on the al-Sukhnah-Deir Ezzor highway deplyoing in less than 75 km away from Deir Ezzor city besieged by ISIS.
Meanwhile, clashes continued in the Uqayribat area where another group of ISIS units had been encircled by the SAA.
The SAA, Hezbollah and the Lebanese Armed Forces got a full control over the Qalamoun area at the Syrian-Lebanese border after ISIS had agreed to withdraw from it under a ceasefire deal. About 350 ISIS fighters and their families were set to be evacuated to Deir Ezzor.
On Sunday, the Iraqi Army and the Popular Mobilization Units liberated the entire city of Tal Afar from ISIS in northern Iraq. Government forces also advanced in the Tal Afar countryside liberating the villages of Al-Alwliah, Kuitlah, Kaser, al-Haruniah, al-Fough, Qabaq and Alwa’ailiah as well as the Al-Kisk camp, the Tal Afar gas station and other nearby areas.
The Joint Operations Command released a statement on Sunday claiming that government forces killed over 200 ISIS members as well as defused 105 IEDs and 15 booby-trapped houses.
Meanwhile, Iraqi warplanes reportedly destroyed about 60 ISIS vehicles withdrawing from Tal Afar in the direction of al-Ayadiah.
The army and the PMU will likely secure the entire Tal Afar pocket will likely be secured in the near future.

“According to the Libyan authorities, preacher Abu Hafs’ real name is Benjamin Efraim, an Israeli national operating in one of Mossad’s special units which conduct espionage operations in Arab and Islamic countries.
The Libyan authorities said the Mossad spy has started his career in Libya by leading a 200-member ISIL-affiliated group and moved to Benghazi in disguise as a preacher.”

“… This week, Netanyahu personally traveled to Sochi, Russia, to confront Putin with the same blunt warning about Israel’s intention to attack targets inside Syria if Iran does not remove its forces.
A source familiar with the meeting told me that Putin responded with a sarcastic “good luck!” “

I believe what is actually occurring is Western sponsered proxy forces are being expanded and rejigged, invloving a large number of Kurds within Syria and northern Iraq, who are encouraged to abandon ISIS and move to less politicized groups.
Die hard units of ISIS are undoubtedly dying hard, but the various zionist proxies are encouraging the SAA to overextend itself while preparing for the next phase of this war, which invloves carefully planned actions solidifying the basis of a Kurdish state, and most likely a revamped Sunnistan in western Iraq up to the edge of the Euphrates river.
Reports of the inevitable betrayal of Kurds by world powers are propagandistic and premature, as everywhere in the region large and now relatively capable zionist proxy forces are available to carve up Syria and Iraq. There will be further large escalations by these mostly Kurd proxies just as it seems peace is close at hand, hence the reason for US self-exclusion from the Russian guided peace process, to which they are uncommitted, and altogether demonstrating the Russo-Syrian manpower conundrum has not yet been resolved.
As ever the situation for Russia involves understanding the double game being played by both Iran and Turkey, now partnered with the zionist Muslim Brotherhood in a British broked deal meant to transport Iranian-Qatari gas from Pars across Turkey and into Europe, to displace the Russians as main suppliers of gas to the E.U.
At all costs the zionists want to break economic and social ties between Russia and Europe, and with almost nothing but weapons and security ‘services’ to sell, they will not allow peace to take hold. The long war against Russia has always been their long term strategy, and they are suceeding in isolating the Eurasian Behemoth to a certain extent, lest the Russians decide to massively escalate their efforts, keeping in mind the Anglo-Zionists may not mind seeing Russia strengthen it’s position in Syria, since even a force of over 50 000 could be easily disrupted by zionist naval power, possibly forcing the Russians to come over land via Turkey in response to defend themselves, a dream scenario for the Occidental Dogs of War. One can even imagine a scenario where they might be invited to take this action by a wily Erdogan.
Will Putin do as he did in Ukraine and let the conflict in Syria simmer? Truthfully he does not have a choice since it is Anglo-Zionists who are driving all action. It seems his best strategy would be to solidify the Syrian position and perhaps grow the Russian contingent to a size which makes it impossible for zionists to attack Syria lest they wish to trigger a full blown nuclear war, but not so big as to represent too large or irreplacable a target if zionist military forces decide to outright attack or blockade the Russians. As with the recent Russian integration of theirs and Syria’s air defense systems, it appears that very carefully this is exactly what they are doing.
The Anglo-Zionists have likely calculated that Russia will not make a first use of nuclear weapons without a massive provocation, something Putin has previously stated he would do to defend the Russians in Syria, but which he would prefer to avoid, yet, he is being maneuvered into a position where he could be forced to make this terrible choice.
Thereafter zionists would have the situation they desire most — a possible first use of nuclear weapons by Russia, to create conditions enabling absolute repression at home while still remaing more or less on the sidelines of world war 3. This could be accomplished by various means which would make it difficult for Russia to respond directly to the primary aggressor.
The war in Syria and World War more generally are from over, in fact we are just getting started. The zionists think in terms of Hundred Years-type wars, they have said so, and will need an extended period of time to engineer the type of New World Order they are after. A 30 year period of mobilization may represent too short a time period to allow for a complete re-engineering of their domains and to sufficiently dehumanize, microchip and/or cull subject populations.
