The military operation of government forces in southern Syria was once again resumed after the Damascus government and local militants groups had failed to reach any kind of fully-fledged reconciliation agreement that would allow to settle the situation in the area via a peaceful way.
On July 5, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), the Tiger Forces and their allies liberated the town of Saida and the nearby abandoned air defense base in the province of Daraa. Additionally, the SAA advanced along the border with Jordan liberating over 10 villages between the border points of 71 and 79.
According to pro-government sources, the SAA faced a little resistance during their operation along the border. Russian troops were spotted there.
The operation is also supported by the Russian Aerospace Forces. Nonetheless, the number of airstrikes is limited. Currently, government forces are developing their operation in the direction of the Nassib border crossing.
Clashes between Turkish-backed militants, reportedly members of Ahrar al-Sharqiyah, and government troops have taken place in the village of Tadef in the province of Aleppo. Turkish-backed forces captured some positions, but were forced to withdraw from them later. According to pro-government sources, the withdrawal was ordered by the Turkish military to de-escalated the situation.
Such incidents show the real sentiments among the so-called moderate opposition groups backed by Turkey and limitations of Ankara’s control of these groups.
The ISIS-linked news agency Amaq claimed that on July 4 ISIS fighters had ambushed a convoy of the US-led coalition in the village of Namliyah in the eastern part of Deir Ezzor province. According to Amaq, ISIS employed 18 IEDs against the convoy killing four US troops. Other sources say that only two US servicemen were killed. The US-led coalition has not commented on these reports so far.
Meanwhile, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have captured the villages of Madinah and Qabr Taha from ISIS in the southern part of Hasakah province. The SDF is continuing it operation in the direction of the Tuwaymin area.

NASEEB CROSSING LIBERATED; THE WESTERN TUNE IS CHANGING;

The Naseeb Crossing between Jordan and Syria has been liberated although the Syrian government has not officially announced this yet. As we related to our readers two days ago, the refusal of the terrorists to accept all Russian conditions for surrender resulted in a devastating air and ground campaign aimed at breaking the morale of the Zionist-supported cockroaches. With no party prepared to assist these cowering slugs, the SAA and its allies are moving straight into the town of Naseeb and its extremely important border crossing; an event which will have very salubrious effects on both Jordan’s and Syria’s economies.
In the meantime, the SAA is moving against Nusra on the Golan Heights supported by HZB and other allies whom the Zionists prefer not to mention. I will have more on all that when I receive more reports from sources.

NEWS AND COMMENT:
Patrick Lawrence shows us how the Western Press is changing its tune on Syria. This is a must-read article with a spectacularly lucid analysis of what is happening:
https://www.salon.com/2018/07/06/is-the-u-s-about-to-give-up-on-its-lawless-and-catastrophic-adventure-in-syria_partner/
This statement by Z Fadel: “the SAA is moving against Nusra on the Golan Heights supported by HZB” is completed unfounded.
If the SAA was fighting Nusra (IDF proxies), on the Golan, the IDF would be decimating them with air strikes and long range artillery.
There are a lot of wishful reports and unsubstantiated activities. This is one of them.
Maybe the phrase “moving against” gives him wiggle room.
The SAA could be 50 miles away, sort of heading to this battle zone, maybe eventually, getting there some time in the future.
Like the 2000 Russians Magnier reported a week or so ago he “saw” getting ready to fight near Palmyra (al Tanf?). Totally pulled it out of thin air.
Careful about these reports from the ether. No sources, no photos, no video, no corroboration, and usually making no military sense.
As shown in this article, the United States has created a significant power shift in the Middle East over the past seven decades:

Total Collapse of Terrorists in East Daraa.
“The terrorists in east Daraa collapsed all together, as anticipated last night at Syrper, the control of many border posts by the Jordanian border would force the terrorists at few villages west of Bosra al Sham no alternative but to surrender, it happened, they all embraced the reconciliation and the towns are now fully liberated, they are Kharaba, Jbeib, Maaraba, Ghasm and Jarim.
http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=32.525974&lon=36.414871&z=11&m=b&gz=0;362929916;324266299;1239395;1699470;659179;1274180;0;382443;521850;0;1579284;1112112;2169799;1071590;1902008;1719717;1366424;2089864;1249694;2037821
Only a small area remains, partially, not liberated, I saying that because the Tiger Forces have advanced from several axis at this very moment and is now from the Daraa reservoir, just SE of the old city, toward the way to Nassib border crossing. This whole area will be liberated either by tonight or earliest tomorrow.

Latest news indicate the Nassib Border crossing is safe and secured. Southern and eastern Daraa is done for good. Great news.” (Canthama)
Heavy Shelling & Air Attacks Near Golan 1974 Demarcation Line.
“East Daraa is completely liberated as previously posted early today, the battle has been concentrated in the are NW of Nassib village to the south of Daraa city. The TFs are now close to the reservoir and has all the opportunity to encircle every single terrorists that remains inside the old Daraa city. The terrorists’ situation is completely hopeless.
First signs of a prepping for an offensive toward Quneytra has been seeing today, heavy shelling and air attacks by the 1974 line of occupied Golan.
The city of Tafas is also about to be encircled and most likely will surrender. ” (Canthama)
In pictures: Militant drones that attacked Hmeyemim Airbase wash up on Turkish shores

“Some of the militant drones that attempted to attack the Hmeymim Airbase in southwest Latakia have washed up on the Turkish shores.
As shown in the photos below, the militant drones were armed and GPS guided, which indicated that they most likely were provided by an external party.
The rebel forces have launched several attacks on the Hmeymim Airbase in the last few days, prompting the Russian Aerospace Forces to launch several airstrikes in the southwestern region of Idlib.
Earlier tonight, the militant forces once again attacked the Hmeymim Airbase; however, they were once again repelled by the Russian military’s air defense units.
These attacks have been reportedly carried out by the jihadist rebels in response to the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) ongoing offensive in the southern province of Daraa.”
Decent close up photos of the drones. One of them still with armament.

But the Southfront report does beg the obvious question – why, for the Israeli led strike, did the Russian military not provide the SADF with the access to operational data from its technical reconnaissance net ahead of the encounter?
Any idea who the ziogay protaganists were this time around?

Villages in West and NW Daraa Queue Up for Reconciliation.
“West and north Daraa villages understand it is over, they are all, basically, embracing the reconciliation. The whole area inside the red circle is requesting reconciliation, same offer done in the eastern Daraa. Russians and Syrian representatives will move in the key villages soon.
http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=32.962010&lon=36.161499&z=11&m=b&gz=0;359812545;328031475;1071166;2737233;0;2691202;260925;657708;514984;0;920104;92339;1599884;761512;1812744;1931350;1647949;2299845
Though the villages do want to embrace reconciliation to preserve the real state and businesses, the terrorists may try another betrayal, the same MO happened in the east quite a few times, but the SAA and allies are used to it, that is why the military option is always ready. Soon we will hear more from this new event.” (Canthama)
Readying the Idlib Offensive.
“The prepping for the Idlib offensive to kill wahhabeasts is already on the works, Russia has lost completely its patience after the 3rd attack to Khmeimim air base today.” (Canthama)
Over 50 tribes meet in Aleppo to reject US, Turkish, French presence in Syria
https://mobile.almasdarnews.com/article/over-50-tribes-meet-in-aleppo-to-reject-us-turkish-french-presence-in-syria/
“Over 50 tribes and clans in northern Syria met inside the Aleppo Governorate on Saturday, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
According to the SANA report, the meeting was called “In Retaliation for the US, French and Turkish Interference in Syria.”
During the meeting, the 55 tribes and clans reasserted their support for the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the federal government.
“Arab and Kurdish tribes in Aleppo stand in the same trench with the Syrian Arab Army and President Bashar al-Assad in facing the Turkish aggression and its backers, particularly the US and France,” the report stated.
A number of national Kurdish figures expressed their rejection of any attempt to divide Syria and of the foreign interference in its affairs.
For their parts, the elders and dignitaries of tribes rejected all types of aggression against Syria, affirming that the Syrians will stay united side-by-side with the Syrian Arab Army in defending the country and facing whoever tries to interfere in its affairs.
The Syrian tribes and clans also rejected the existence of any US, French or Turkish forces inside Syria.
This is the second major meeting that has been held between the tribes in northern Syria this year.”
In my opinion, it is probably through these sorts of means that the Syrians will force out israel’s colonials, along with turkey, rather than outright fighting them.

SAA Advancing Along Jordanian Border Westwards Towards IsraISIS Pocket.
“As mentioned yesterday, the advance by the SAA through the Jordanian border toward Kharab al Sham, was extended all the way to Zayaum, placing the SAA at the footsteps of the southern entrance of ISIS/Israel pocket. The SAA is now entering all the villages below:
Zayzun – border with ISIS/Israel
Tabriyat
Tel Shihab
Kharab Shahm – entered yesterday
http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=32.706422&lon=35.911903&z=12&m=b&gz=0;359187698;326476140;1114082;0;1289176;213893;307273;970778;0;772952;169944;751290;255775;485521;592231;167650;1017951;98281
High expectation that Tafas, MUzayrib, Yadudeh, Hayt, al Ajami and Jisr al Ash`ari will join the reconciliation either today or tomorrow.
The SAA High Command is already prepping the campaign against ISIS, in part IDF attempt to hit T4 yesterday s directly related to the SAA approach to ISIS/al Qaeda in the Golan Heights. Unless Israhell convince their partners, ISIS and al Qaeda terrorists, to relocate to Idlib, the upcoming battle will be to the last terrorist.
Western/NW Daraa towns continue to struggle in dealing with the terrorists they host. The whole area of the Horan plain is trying to reconcile, with direct talks to the Syrian Gov’t and Russians, but yet it could have troubles ahead.
http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=32.939539&lon=36.043396&z=10&m=b&gz=0;359397125;328097845;1441955;2742781;178527;2489604;0;576920;782775;715325;906372;0;1647949;219273;2018737;830646;2114868;2075156
Currently the pressure is for the many terrorists in Daraa al Balad to surrender, with that, phase 1 of the Operation Basalt would be totally complete in 2 weeks time, and forces could concentrate to the next phase which is to liberate West/NW Daraa and Quneytra.
Should there be a battle for Daraa al Balad then it will be time consuming and high casualties for the SAA, the attempt has been focused on transferring these terrorists to Idlib.” (Canthama)
Moral of Turkish Presence in North Syria Tanking Rapidly.
“Syria won’t fight a war with Turkey inside recognized Turkish border, but yes Syria would fight turkish regime army illegally inside Syria, no doubt about that. But lets be clear with one thing, turkish army has been at war against Syria for 7 years now, turkish soldiers were involved in most battles in the north of Syria against the SAA and civilians, one well reported event is the criminal attack toward northern Lattakia at Kessab through the official Turkish border crossing with turkish army artillery hitting the SAA positions around the border post and few other areas.
http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=35.914149&lon=36.011209&z=14&m=b
Having said that, the turkish regime troops inside Idlid, NE Lattakia and western Aleppo are small in nbrs and under powered and would never face any Syrian elite army direct strike, they would retreat on the double from their observation posts.
As of now, the turkish regime posts inside Syria are basically turning their eyes from any terrorist attacks, few kms away from their posts in areas as western Aleppo city (today one civilian died because of terrorist shelling Aleppo city from few kms away from the turkish observation posts), 3 weeks ago the SAA shelled an illegal turkish observation in NE Lattakia, not agreed with anyone, and most recently we all hear the skirmishes by the terrorists between many turkish observation posts in northern Hama, and southern Idlib, and the terrorists are prepping for an offensive, and everyone can see it and of course the turkish army personnel that is doing just that, observing while the terrorists they protect and support are prepping an offensive once more.
Recent constant attacks at the Khmeimim air base clearly shows that the turkish protected terrorists in Idlib are losing their only possible life line which is the turkish regime to protect them, Russia won’t forget not tolerate it, there will be payback and Idlib will be liberated, as it will be western Aleppo and NE Lattakia.
The only terrorist paradise for a bit longer will be the northern Syria for while, that will take a bit more time to be liberated, and some sort of diplomatic agreement may be used by Russia, but time is critical, turkish assimilation is on going, either through language, currency, trade, local institutions etc…
Lets remember that once the southern Syria is pacified, thousands of elite Syrian troops will be moved to the north, and we all know when a concentration of Syria’s elite forces are at battle, not terrorists nor any turkish small army will be able to hold them, besides, Syria still controls its airspace, meaning no turkish chopper or jets could enter Syria airspace without risking to be downed, they could only try to support their terrorists from turkish airspace, and we know it will be limited and with little effectiveness.
My take on, at the moment, is that Turkey will abandon their supported terrorists in Idlib, Lattakia and Aleppo (as Israel, US & Jordan did with their terrorists in southern Syria), but Turkey would put up some resistance to their terrorists in northern Syria.
Final thought, Idlib is full of recognized al Qaeda and ISIS terrorists among the other moderats, and Russia has been clear from day one that they must be eliminated, Turkey can not and will not stop that. Turkey has tried to separate the bad terrorists from the good (according to turkish regime view) terrorists in Idlib, so far it has failed because there is no good terrorists, they fight for local power and they unite against the Syrian Government and to attack Russia’s airbase, this si why Idlib will be freed for good in 2018 and possibly beginning of 2019, no one should doubt about that.” (Cantama)
