The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and its allies have liberated Abu Dali, Masud, Abu Rimal, Hamadat al Amr, and Al Marami from ISIS in the eastern Hama countryside. Now, clashes are ongoing in the vicinity of Suhah.
The Russian Aerospace Forces have conducted 329 strikes, destroying 27 armored vehicles, 48 pickups mounted with heavy weapons, and over 1,000 militants during the operation in the area of Uqayribat, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
In Deir Ezzor province, the SAA has repelled all ISIS counter-attacks and secured a corridor to the provincial capital. Government forces have also continued their efforts to secure the Sukhna-Deir Ezzor highway and the western part of Deir Ezzor.
Separately, a humanitarian operation has been launched in order to deliver all needed aid to civilians in the city.
On September 5th, representatives of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) groups in Eastern Qalamoun signed an agreement with Syrian and Russian officials to establish a de-escalation zone in the Rif Dimashq Governorate. The de-escalation zone includes al-Dumayr, al-Ruhaybah, Jayrud, al- Mansoura, and al- Nasiriyah, as well as the Mansoura and al-Mughr mountain areas. The Russian Military Police will be deployed around the zone and a mechanism for humanitarian aid deliveries will be established in the area.
On September 6th, another de-escalation zone was established around Tell Rifaat town east of Afrin city in the northern Aleppo countryside. This de-escalation zone will include Tell Rifaat town and other Arabian villages under the control of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) east of Afrin.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the goal of the zone is to prevent provocations and clashes between the FSA and the SDF. Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff, Colonel General Sergey Rudskoy said that the SAA deployed in the area and that the SDF left it.
However, the FSA operation room “Ahl Adar” operating in northern Aleppo announced that it is not going to follow the agreement and will continue military operations in the area. The FSA activity will depend on Turkey’s ability and will to push its proxies to follow the agreement.
The SDF, backed up by the US-led coalition, continued clashing with ISIS in Moroor and Nahdah districts in the southern part of Raqqah city. Some 47 ISIS members were reportedly killed in the recent clashes.
If you check the map where the air raid took place earlier today (02:42 am, GMT+3), you will notice that the target (near the town of Masyaf) was located almost equidistant from Khmeimim Air Base (NW) and Tartus Naval Facility (SW) fairly 30 miles only…and both installations controlled and operated by the Russian military.
See the map:

And yes, the so-called “state-of-the art” Russian S-400 air defense systems are effectively networked with Syria’s S-300 systems (and the IDF warplanes were well in reach of those radars and missiles)…at this stage it is fair to assert that the Israeli Air Force knows already the weaknesses and limitations of those Russian-made air defense systems.
Waiting for the Russian Ministry of Defense explanations (better say excuses) of why the Russian military did not intervene
The military facility is located 47 km. from the possible positions of the s-300V in the port of Tartus, 50-51 km. from the positions of s-400 in Hanime

To the border with Lebanon, where apparently dealt a blow, about 47 km away.
In the end, the blow could be launched from planes in the space of Lebanon without entering Syrian airspace
evidence of their deviousness and skulduggery…..betcha bottom dollar if it had been russian planes over Lebanon , positioned reversd , attacking Israeli items , Israel would have shot them down?
I don’t know!
http://sana.sy/en/?p=113403
The Syrians have no power to knock them down. And the Russian base was not bombed.
SA-22 Greyhound will take them by distance, and C300 C400 too big for firecrackers. Usually in such cases, neutralize the weapon emplacements of the opponent.
You propose that Russia smashed all object representing the threat in Lebanon?
And I remind you That Israel attacked a military installation in Syria from Lebanon. Where’s the Russian?
S-400 remain in Syria for the defense and support of the Russian military base and aircraft RuAF.
Israel from Lebanese territory by the firecracker burned down the shed in the Syrian desert. Because of this, you shouldn’t attack object on the territory of Lebanon and declare war on them.
The Golan heights still be returned to Syria, as if trying not to napakastit strategists in Israel.
This shot does not pose any threat to the territorial integrity of Syria and the bases of the Russian Federation. Rest in peace dear friend, everything is under control.

And you say a shed in the desert and a firecracker of Israel. And more important things to do at the moment.
In the eyes of some foreign countries Russian portrait themselves as incapable of defending ally. By doing so only a few will join them. This is the one of the reasons that so many countries are happy to join USA alliance, even if it means vassal status.
Regardless if IDF warplanes operated from Lebanese airspace for this particular mission, Russian & Syrian S-400/S-300 air defense systems could easily have spotted those fighters while flying over Lebanon and immediately alert all military units in the area (and strategic installations too) about the likelihood of an impending attack (remember, those systems are now networked and interconnected).
Assuming that the Israeli Air Force opted for such procedure (operating from Lebanese airspace), it is clear now the S-400 & S-300 are totally useless while dealing with smart ammunition like the Spice bomb family designed and built by Rafael – gliding ordnance (assuming that this was the weapon of choice as well). And shouldn’t be a surprise to learn that IDF F-35s were also involved in this mission, as part of their real-scenario tests for the upcoming air war against Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Your right to think so. To convince you, I will not.
Henry Kissinger said Israel will not be in 10-15 years. Maybe it’s time for this plan to come true. Israel’s largest exercise in 20 years is on the border with Syria and there is now a very large number of military focused. http://www.haaretz.com/israel-news/1.810559
And then draw your own conclusions.
According to your Ha’Aretz link, Israel is planning to “vanquish Hezb’Allah”. Every decade that I have lived in Israel the IDF has grown stronger and its strategy cleverer. So naturally, they move faster. Way back under Ariel Sharon it took years for the IDF to be kicked out of Lebanon by Hezb. By 2006 the IDF had progressed to the point it only took one month for them to be kicked out of Lebanon by Hezb. And now, in the greatest war game ever, the IDF is planning to do it in 10 days. Like Putin said to NetanYahooh, “Good luck on that one”.
This is the official legend of doctrines.
– And in fact: Israel has collected 20 brigades on the border with Syria.
– Israeli warplanes targeted a Syrian military position near Masyaf in Hama province.

I think the reality is not quite as you think. And USA is conventionally the quotes “US”, because it is a world mafia, the octopus who has shrouded the whole world and robs it. In the top of the pyramid is one of “God’s chosen people”.
The most dangerous weapon in the world is information. With the right information people can be forced to do anything.
The child can be said that in the basement lived a terrible monster and he is afraid to go there.
The child can be said that in the basement lived a terrible monster and he is afraid to go there. In fact in the basement there’s no monster, but the child will not go there. With the help of this simple information, you can control the child. Is human psychology, how the brain works.
Another example: If a guy and a girl love each other, but the guy was drafted into the army to serve far from home. Third person will write a letter to the guy that she dumped him and married another, and the guy will commit suicide. In fact the guy killed himself, but in reality the girl didn’t dump him. It is also an example of the management of the person using the information. Also control and the suicide bombers. They just inspire the right information and they do what you need.
You can also control entire Nations through information. A vivid example of Hitler and his Reichstag fire. With this he got rid of all of its competitors.
The same and your “Russian portrait” is just information, which rule the countries and peoples.
Listen Sheikh. And all the information that you get in TVs, and so on, think with the perspective control you or peoples.

Russia has agreements with Israel as it pertains to these areas. This has NOTHING to do with the capabilities of S400 or not.
Syria didnt even shoot down jets that bombed them in 2007.
According to SAA Army Command, the Israeli rockets were launched from Lebanese airspace.
http://sana.sy/en/?p=113322
“Excuses”? How about: “We didn’t feel like violating international law and maybe starting World War 3 by shooting down an Israeli jet in Lebanese airspace.” Russia keeps the moral high ground, while Israel proves to the whole world its de facto alliance with ISIS/al-Nusra/whatever they’re called this week. And the US Zionist Lobby is denied an excuse to push Trump into some irreversible military folly.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah gains more support at home and sympathy abroad, both because of the legitimacy of its own position and actions, and because the “mighty” IDF is obviously frightened half to death of fighting it again.
I too would love to see the criminal Tel Aviv regime get its comeuppance, but the kind of reaction you demand from Russia would play straight into the enemy’s hands. Have patience, and remember Frederick the Great’s maxim: “He who defends everything, defends nothing.”

Tedious in my opinion. I suppose the author’s smug attitude is a manipulation technique to obfuscate that his analysis is rather general stuff, just well padded to make it seem “in depth”.

Israeli-syllabus School Set Up in Syrian Area Controlled by Terrorist Armed Groups
http://www.globalresearch.ca/israeli-syllabus-school-set-up-in-syrian-area-controlled-by-terrorist-armed-groups/5607594
“An Israeli-US organisation has set up a school in the northern Syria governorate of Idlib, which is under the control of armed groups [terrorists], Russia Today reported on Monday. The Israeli syllabus is being taught in the school, with textbooks intended to provide Syrian pupils with a different perspective about Israel.
An Israeli news website reported that the school has 90 Syrian pupils and 15 teachers. It is an addition to two similar schools which have been established in areas controlled by the armed groups near the borders of the occupied Golan Heights.
Businessman Moti Kahana, a former Israeli air force soldier who holds dual Israeli-US citizenships, is the head of the organisation behind the schools. He hopes that the syllabus will entrench a different perspective about Israel and that pupils will go on to study in Israeli universities.
“In this way,” Kahana explained, “we hope to change the popular Syrian position towards Israel.”
Yeah, the hasbara cure all. The subhuman goatsods send in their proxy terrorists, murder hundreds of thousands and destroy much of the country, but hey, there’s no reason Syrians should feel angry at this.
Wow. Ye gods. “Presumably” the parents and children have a free choice of school to attend, or this an Israeli “caliphate” system now?
U.S. Rescues ISIS Field Commanders in Syria. “The Terrorists R Us”
http://www.globalresearch.ca/u-s-rescues-isis-field-commanders-in-syria-the-terrorists-r-us/5607626
“Against the background of the successful steps of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) towards Deir Ezzor and the defeat of ISIS, Washington has started to evacuate its agents for further use in other areas.
On August 26, the United States Air Force helicopters evacuated two European ISIS commanders along with their families from the settlement of Al-Treif, which is located to the north-west of Deir Ezzor.
In addition, on August 28, the international coalition aviation relocated more than 20 ISIS commanders from Albu Leil village to a military airbase in northern Syria.
It’s not the first when the U.S. intelligence agencies ‘rescue’ field commanders in Syria. In May 2017, the U.S. helicopters picked up dozens of ISIS leaders and foreign mercenaries from the settlement of Al-Kasrah. Let us remind you, that the similar operations were carried out near Raqqa in June/July 2017.”

US Aircraft Evacuates Over 20 Daesh Commanders From Deir ez-Zor – Source
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201709071057182244-daesh-deir-ez-zor-us-evacuation/
“Militants who lost their commanders due to the Americans, usually tend to cease organized actions, leave their positions, join other [Daesh terrorist] units or one by one flee. This eventually contributes to the success of the offensive by the Syrian government troops in eastern Syria,” the source said.”
Basically, there is an up side letting the zionazis extract their vomit. The leaderless terrorists fall apart with much less of a fight. But why not attempt to down the aircraft pulling the leaders out? It would lead to expansion of the war, as the zionazis would claim unprovoked attack and use it as a pretext. Better to report the missions publicly and let the non zionazi media dominated world see zionazi/western fascist support of these supposed anti western terrorists.
“BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:15 A.M.) – Russia, the United States and Jordan have reached an agreement which will allow the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) to take over control of virtually all of militant-held southern Syria with the exception of a Coalition-occupied base near the Iraqi border.
The agreement will see pro-government forces assume control over nine hundred (900) key points – which until now were held by US-backed mercenaries – throughout Syria’s great southern desert region.
The agreement excludes surrendering a key Coalition base at the town of al-Tanf near the Syrian-Iraqi border where US troops are still reportedly present.
One US-backed Free Syrian Army faction in the region, the Ahmad Abdo Martyrs Brigade, has reportedly abandoned its positions already and is withdrawing towards Jordanian territory.
When exactly the agreement goes into full effect is still not entirely clear yet.”

southfront reporting usa backed SDF forces are capturing territory from isis, moving to Deir ez zor but maybe acting to block further SAA advances, and claim territory eg to capture a strategic oilfield.T he SDF does not have local Syrians amongst them apparently, announcement tomorrow.
This is an act of desperation that might backfire badly.
– the SDF lacks manpower, will and weapons.
– the huge Arab faction within the Kurdish territory doesn’t support this move.
– the SAA and allies are well aware of this last ditch effort and have prepared accordingly.
Interesting to see what will happen.

Current situation around Deir Ezzor
https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DJW0whZW0AE-Y2k.jpg
From a good source I hear that ISIS has retreated from the cauldron-in-the-making seen clearly in above picture. Except for a ‘suicide commando’ in air-raid-proof underground installations whose job it is the to hold up SAA’s advance for as long as possible.
Said source speculates that the ISIS commander airlifted out of precarious positions around DZ a couple of days ago by the USAF could very well be the same commander who are now leading the SDF’s rapid advance – without facing a single bullet by ISIS (!) – towards DZ.
SAA and allies have to cross the Euphrates and reach the crucial oilfields as soon as possible. Tricky situation…

The leader of ISIS is planning a fresh wave of terror attacks against Britain and other European countries in revenge for the crushing defeats that terror group has suffered in Iraq and Syria, a leading Iraqi intelligence official has warned.
Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of Isil’s self-proclaimed Caliphate in Iraq and Syria, is said to be organising a number of “sophisticated attacks” against Western targets to boost the morale of terror fighters after the series of defeats the movement has suffered in places like Mosul and Raqqa.

The Syrian victory over terrorists in Deir ez-Zor is horrifying Israel.
http://theduran.com/syrian-victory-terrorists-deir-al-zour-horrifying-israel-israeli-tv-reported-israeli-concerns-advances-syiran-army-east-syria-deir-al-zour-one/
“Syrian political commentator Afraa Dagher offers her first reaction to Israel’s illegal strike on Syria.
Israeli TV recently reported concerns about the advances of the Syrian Army in the east of Syria, particularly in relation to the breaking of the ISIS sign on Deir ez-Zor ,an ISIS stronghold for around four years. Israeli analysts were shown watching reports on the victory of President Assad and the Syrian Army in Deir ez-Zor as they broke the siege and starting liberating more territory from ISIS.
The Syrian Army and their allies finally met with the 17th Republic Guard Brigade and the Airport Defenders in Deir ez-Zor who spent three years under terrorists siege. The US led coalition bombed Al-Thardeh mountain in Deir ez-Zor to keep the siege on the military airport and this airstrikes killed one tenth of the Syrian soldiers which in turn paved the way to the terrorists to advance into the city.Simultaneously Israeli targeted military positions on the southern front of Syria, all in September of 2016.
Over the last two years, Israel’s geo-strategic goal has shifted from seeking the destruction of the Syrian government to the goal of partitioning Syria in order to drive a geographical wedge between the growing alliance between Iran, Iraq, Syria, Southern Lebanon and parts of Palestine.
Deir ez-Zor was the last stand for Israel and its ally the United States, to break the resistance line from Teheran to Damascus and beyond this, Hezbollah Their dream of making Deir ez-Zor another Berlin and separate Syria into east and west and break the connection between the resistance axis turned into a nightmare after the great advance of the Syrian Army in Deir ez-Zor. Since then, the Army has regained most of the city and has been welcomed by the besieged Syrian civilians of the city..
The Israelis openly admit this strategy on their local television programs.”

Alleged US Evacuation of Daesh Field Commanders: ‘We Are Rescuing Our Allies’
https://sputniknews.com/military/201709091057248342-us-daesh-commanders-rescue/
“Asked to comment, Karen Kwiatkowski, a retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel turned anti-neoconservative activist, told Sputnik that these evacuees were likely people that the US military and intelligence establishment wanted to protect, “particularly people with evidence that could be used against the US [during] negotiations.”
“It makes a lot of sense that we would either want to kill those people, or extract them before the Syrians could interrogate them,” Kwiatkowski said.
“That’s inconsistent with the top level message from President Trump for sure,” the retired officer added. “This set of relationships that the CIA, parts of the military and the State Department have with Daesh goes [back to before] Trump’s administration. It seems like they’re not following his orders here, but I’m sure there’s a larger agenda at stake.”
The activist explained that CIA black programs don’t require day-to-day approval from the president. If that’s what this evacuation was, “this is standard operating procedure, and they don’t really care what the president says in a speech designed for the consumption of the American people.”
“That’s populating our media – that the Americans are killing Daesh, not that the Americans are rescuing Daesh,” the Kwiatkowski said.
“Certainly, we are rescuing our allies. But to some extent, we are preserving people who have worked with us, people that are dealing with the financial aspects of our aid to Daesh, because that’s what’s going to be looked at in the autopsy of this operation. People are going to be saying: where did the money flow? Who knew about it? What was the American role? Americans will be asking that question too, not just the world.”
Ultimately, asked what would impact this news would have on public support for the president, Kwiatkowski said that for those who have an understanding of the neoconservative trajectory which has dominated US policy for many years, “we don’t expect as much of Trump. [But] for Trump voters, there is a problem. [They] bought into his less interventionist type of policy. He ran on that, he was elected on that. He gave some early speeches relating to this concept. That was pleasing to his supporters; it angered the neoconservatives.”
Today, the observer said, it’s clear that either the neocons are wearing Trump down, “or have somehow otherwise convinced him to allow them to do what they want to do.”
The report on the alleged US operation to rescue Daesh in Deir ez-Zor commanders has led Russian experts to call on President Trump to comment directly on the claims, and to ignore any CIA or Pentagon commentary. Speaking to Sputnik, Russian defense analyst Igor Korotchenko said that Trump “must comment on this and declare clearly: either the evacuation of the Daesh field commanders was authorized by him personally and he assumes all political responsibility for this step, or the [US] special services acted without his approval.”
Clumsily Fabricated Fake’: Russian Envoy Slams UN’s Latest Syria Report
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201709091057248892-russia-syria-un-report/
“The commission accused the Syrian government on Wednesday of using chemical weapons in Khan Sheikhoun in April in a report. It also accused Damascus and the Russian military of targeting hospitals and medical personnel in the war-torn country. Responding to the report, the Syrian Foreign Ministry said that Damascus did not have chemical weapons, had never used them and would never do it.
“The part of the report concerning Russia and the use of the chemical weapons by the Syrian armed forces is an example of a politically biased fake, which is in addition clumsily fabricated,” Borodavkin told reporters.
“Some time ago, it became fashionable in political and diplomatic circles to spread Russophobic lies. But the situation has been gradually changing. Even in places where such fabrications are still in demand, their political price is rapidly falling,” Borodavkin added.”

Never say die: Syria’s heroic footballers are an inspiration to us all
https://www.rt.com/op-edge/402590-syria-football-russia-victory/
“The Syrian football team has helped to reunite a country that’s been to hell and back. Its captain, Firas Al Khatib, initially supported the anti-government ‘rebels’ but he agreed to return to the national team earlier this year. Omar Al Somah also ended a four-year exile.
The way that pro-government and anti-government sides have come together to help the national team is indicative of the reconciliation process that’s been going on in Syria for quite some time now and about which we hear little in the mainstream Western media.
The team’s stoicism in adversity doesn’t come from nowhere but reflects the steadfastness of the wider Syrian society from which it is drawn. “Each and everyone one of us kept fighting until the end….despite all the circumstances the team was facing,” said Al Somah after this week‘s ’Miracle in Tehran.’
The gallant people of Syria, like its footballers, have shown to the world that they don’t know the meaning of the word ‘defeat.’ Even in the metaphorical 93rd minute, when it looked like the game was all over, they refused to throw in the towel. The most powerful forces in the world set out to destroy their country, and its independence, while falsely claiming to be its ‘friends,’ but the Syrian people held firm.
In September 2017, against all the odds, the secular Syrian state survives, as a symbol of never, ever say-die resistance to the rapacious global hegemon. How appropriate it was that the Syrian football team’s great result in Iran came in the same week as the Syrian Arab Army, along with its loyal allies, ended the ISIS siege of Deir ez-Zor.
“The unvarnished courage and heroism of the defenders of Deir ez-Zor is matched by the estimated 70-100,000 civilians who remained steadfast in the face of the unyielding hardship involved in spending three years living a hand to mouth existence,”writes John Wight.
Even if the national team doesn’t make it into the record books by reaching the World Cup finals for the first time, the country they represent has already guaranteed its place in history by becoming the first to thwart a Western-sponsored ‘Divide and Destroy’ operation.
The Endless War lobby got their way in Yugoslavia, Iraq, and Libya, but it was Syria, and Aleppo in particular, that proved to be the serial aggressors’ Stalingrad.
Everyone with a heart loves an underdog that refuses to give up, and there’s been no greater, or more spirited underdogs than the Syrian people these last few years. Both on and off the football pitch.”

Inside the Surreal Western-Created Daesh Propaganda Machine
https://sarahabed.com/2017/09/09/inside-the-surreal-western-created-daesh-propaganda-machine/
“In order to understand how effective Daesh’s propaganda campaign has been, it’s important to analyze the plethora of information included in this compilation article. This extensive article discusses many different aspects of the Daesh propaganda machine. It also discusses the US/NATO narrative which they use in hopes of convincing indoctrinated members of society to support their “fight” against Daesh. Of course, this article wouldn’t be complete without explaining how Daesh is actually a US/NATO invention used to further foreign intervention under the pretentious guise of “protecting itself” in its supposed “fight against terrorism”.
Describes how daesh manage propaganda much like the propaganda ministry of national states. A wealth of detail of the lower levels how they do it. It’s clear daesh propaganda is organised very tightly and sophistically, by professionals experienced in creating psychologically advanced psywar.
BEIRUT, September 11. /TASS/. The US military presence is “illegal and unacceptable,” as it has not been authorized by the Syrian government, Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad told the Al-Mayadeen TV channel on Sunday.
