Why SAA and Russia allowed YPG heading to Deyrezor? Please stick to the facts – there is plenty of news from the Russian MOD that this isn’t their will but the US is allowing this drive by the Kurds. Mod It is gonna be very difficult for Syria and Iraq defending themselves against Kurdish expansion.
My wish is that this man’s speech had been given at least equal coverage with the speech by the American president. Please pray for the brave people of Syria! “The US has killed more civilians than the terrorists”–yes, this horrifies me. No I do NOT support “our” troops, because they are not “our” troops to begin with. Do not pretend otherwise. If anyone wants to be horrified at that honest statement, well then, so be it. My father was in the Army, and throughout that time he had eyes and ears, and a good memory. Please find and read General Butler’s classic essay “War Is A Racket”. When Mr. al-Moualem also talks about the silence of the international community regarding war crimes against civilians in Syria, I realized yet again that the regular people are going to have to become the biggest advocates for peace, because the “diplomats” are some of the worst warmongers out there. They are not diplomats. Where is the balance? –Do you ever see any magnet-ribbons on cars that say “We support our diplomats”? “Our” diplomats. Ha! Pushing whose agendas? So many times they do not speak for us, and we are going to have to figure out effective ways to do end- runs around them. We cannot remain silent in the face of great evil. We must speak difficult–and at times harsh–words of truth to those in power, especially those who have utterly betrayed the public trust. We are not going to be able to fight this great evil with merely our own human power (as important as our will to do good is). We will have to fight it with the strength of the Holy Archangels.
