They should have thought about sucking up to the West and deploy nuclear missiles on their border. They deserve the crap they are in. Their country was soled for penny’s on the Dollar by their thieving leaders, while the people left
holding the bag. All former Warsaw pact nations were sold to the imperialist thieves. Disgusting! talk about rigging elections?

They are being set up for a potential attack against Russia, just like Poland is. Then again, between 25 % and 30 % of the Baltic populations has fled to the West.
Instead of differentiating between the dis-empowered people of the Baltic countries, and their Jewish Mafia occupation force who runs all anti-Russian propaganda, Ruslan Ostashko goes for some cheap laughs.
As a west European, I know that almost all people from the Baltics, and many from Poland, only care for the EU because of the ability to work in the west. Not for dreams of ´democracy´. In Poland however, now quite a few Polish people are retiring there or starting their own business. The Polish are very hard working people and deserve their success.
The Baltic people might be at the same level in a few decades, or not. However, they do need to have their sense of reality checked, and kick their obsessive Russophobia. Just like their nazi sympathies, that should only be for (some) old people.
Russia world’s sixth largest economy, on par with Germany
Russia’s government and household debt lowest in the world
Central Bank reserves soar as Russia drops the U$D
State budget records solid surplus
Industrial production growing and churning out new innovative products
Massive investment in industry and infrastructure
Pivot to Asia gives Russia record trade balance as exports soar and imports shrink
Russia and China winning the new arms race
Russia undisputed leader in military technology
”Also keep dreaming about ’Russia, smaller poorer and weaker than the EU$A’ ”
Maroudas, what I find especially amusing about true-believers-in-the-great-and-glorious-West is their habit of seeing the West’s ruling plutocracy as the embodiment of intelligence, competence, compassion, and morality. Ditto its garbage media and politicians. Well, as the Baltic pseudo-states show, there doesn’t seem to be too much intelligence, competence, compassion, and morality involved; just the opposite.
The Brown And Little Tiny Insect CountrieS were so sure of the genuine benevolence of rapacious Swedish banksters and, of course, that awesome freedom fighter George Soros that they opted for total self-destruction with gusto. Russophobia obviously is a potent mind-altering substance indeed.
One point which I think could have been made by Ruslan Ostashko in his otherwise witty presentation is that Russia actually should settle these nonsense statelets by Russians. The population is leaving or dying off anyway, so it’s not a big deal. It’s either that, or they — Lithuania especially — is to become settled by Europe’s Greedy Hyena: Poland. That would be a sure recipe for disaster.
What we have in the Baltic states is what I call the post-communist syndrome. During Soviet times, the people in the Baltic states had free housing, free education, free medical care, etc. They were not satisfied, thinking they could have more, ie. they wanted a Western standard of living, as they understood it, where everyone could end up being a millionare.
Communism is now history. The countries introduced Western style democracies and free enterprise. And the result ? Societies were transformed into people who have and those who do not. Well, that is not what the bulk of the populations expected. They now need a victim, somebody on whom to blame things. That victim is of course Russia, who wants to “invade”them, as if the Baltic countries have anything of value. Worse, the leaderships of those countries have realized that without Russia, their economies cannot function properly, which is another source of frustration. They have now invented the Russian “threat”, hoping that Russia can somehow be transformed into a Western colony and exploited. Well, it cannot.
True about “post-communist syndrome”. Some of the Lithuanians I knew believed that money could just be plucked off the streets in the West. But not much later some realized that the new Lithuania was worse off than the old Soviet Union in terms of jobs and social benefits. And the Brave New World was not so brave, but rather more Hard and Difficult New World.
Maybe the EU plan is the same as Hitlers, to cause those areas to be depopulated so as to make Lebensraum for Germans.
Of the Soviet Republics, and former Warsaw Pact countries, few are doing so well. Poland perhaps, but the others, not so much. One guy I know from Romania talks about this. It’s been 25 years and many still blame the country’s underdevelopment on the Soviet times. After 25 years, you’d think that Ukrainians, Belarusans, Romanians, Moldovans, etc would take some responsibility.
”Maybe the EU plan is the same as Hitler’s, to cause those areas to be depopulated so as to make Lebensraum for Germans.”
Think not. Germany has little use for settling people in the Baltics today; that was the case 100 years ago. The danger lurking as we speak is Poland and its Russophobia-on-steroids and its deluded sense of entitlement to the territories of any sufficiently weakened neighbouring states — ”to protect Europe”, of course.
Actually, there seems to be four mutually exclusive prospects for the future of the Baltics:
1) Complete, utter depopulation with zero people left. This will make the land fair game for dumping of Western toxic waste, a special case of which would be testing of chemical and biological weapons.
2) ”Soros and associates” settle the land with Third World immigrants/refugees. This would serve the purpose of building up a massive invasion force to be directed at Russia.
3) Poland, uninvited as always, correctly sniffs out that there is land nearby to cannibalize — in proximity to Russia, mmm… While the previous two proposals look somber, this is the assured path to catastrophe. Gownopolska has an outstanding track record of stirring up horrors just for showing its importance.
The Baltics are a case of a forever self damnation.
And they are not a ‘Mexico’ who can establish a feasible modus vivendi with the US and simultaneasly play their cards with a certain degree of practical independence.
The baltics attitude against the neighbor is just like if Malta kept raging in perpetual anti Italy conflicts or Paraguay in an eternal anti brazilian hatred or Bangla desh one vis-a-vis India. Geography is destiny.
Namely, it fits for a while in maintaining a few elite groups in power but it´s a death sentence for all remainder citizens and this, if they are lucky, will last several decades.
Stupid.
”They / the Baltic states / started discussing predictions made by the Polish Antiradio. The Polish radio station cited a popular Russian health guru, yoga instructor, author of 20 books on esoteric philosophy, and poet Roman Dolya. He predicted that by the end of 2019 the Baltic states /…/ would be controlled by Russia.”
OK. This could well be a Polish ploy to scare away the remaining Baltic population — with ”Russian help” at that — so as to settle Poles on the abandoned territories. Must be quite comfortable and amusing to the average Pshek to see that a ’source’ such as this radio station seems to be taken seriously outside Gownopolska.
Ruslan Ostashko is decidedly the most acerbic of commentators.
His droll humor slices and dices like a Benihana chef, blades in both hands.
The Baltics, dying and poor, scream for Euro-oxygen, as they asphyxiate themselves on Russophobia.
Oh, the irony.
Oh, the comedy.
Made my afternoon . . .
The zionazi-gay baltic colonial regimes remind one of the zionazi-gay colonial trump regime in exceptionalland.
Except that the Baltic freaks soon have no subjects to tax, ha!

Czech Republic seems to be doing well.

4) Russia settles the land. Problem solved.
Finland’s population density is lower – I think Russia should settle that one first.
