First, two headlines:
- Apartment building hit during Ukrainian shelling of Russian city – mayor
- Council of Europe Assembly brands Russia ‘terrorist regime’
Logical, right?
That is also probably why EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell is now threatening the Russian military with annihilation (apparently, Borrell does not realize that the EU has no armed forces or that Russia can wipe out the entire EU in a few hours).
In the meanwhile, in the indispensable nation, land of the free home of the brave, city on the hill, leader of the “(non-)Free World” and of the Axis of Kindness, the official “inflation sits at 8.2% as core prices hit four-decade high“. Hmmmm… How can one deal with this?
Why! Send billions to a genocidal Nazi regime of course!
State Duma deputy, political scientist Oleg Matveichev cited statistics on the extent to which the West supplies Ukraine with armored vehicles, weapons, ammunition and ammunition. “As of today, Ukraine has received military aid worth 41.3 billion euros from various countries. The absolute majority – 27.7 billion – was given by the United States, and quite gratuitously. These are not loans, but direct support. Great Britain – by 3.7 billion euros, the European Commission – by 2.5 billion, Poland – by 1.8 billion, Germany – by 1.2 billion euros,” he listed. (source)
Logical, right?
In the meantime, the FSB has pretty much figured out how the explosives which were used by the Ukrainian GUR were brought into Russia: by using the Istanbul grain deal of course!
In the meantime, Russia has just released a new map of the country with her new borders and regions:
We can be pretty confident that this is a temporary map as Banderastan get’s further demilitarized and denazified.
Now the “world community” as “represented” in the UNGA does not like that map or what it stands for. Does not like it at all, in fact. So, predictably, “U.N. members vote overwhelmingly to condemn Russia’s annexation in Ukraine“.
This would all be truly hilarious if it was not so evil, hypocritical and dishonorable. This is also very dangerous as the countries which participate in this farce are all showing either 1) their true allegiance to the AngloZionist Empire or 2) their total lack of courage. Which means that they are not only removing themselves from any real negotiations, they are also painting themselves into a political corner from which they won’t be able to get out again.
To put it differently, the EU nations want to regime change Russia, which means that Russia will have to regime change them. That is also what “denazification” and “demilitarization” means!
Of course, the example of Serbia, which voted against Russia, shows that a comprador regime never represents the interests of the people it rules over. Besides, votes and declarations by non-sovereign states mean absolutely nothing. The only vote which counts is the vote of countries with actual agency and sovereignty.
In conclusion, I will just repeat here what I have been writing for years and which I still believe to be true: Russia should simply forget about the West (at least for a decade or so). I mean, of course, Russia needs to be fully cognisant that the West will continue its total war against Russia in every conceivable manner short of a direct and overt military attack (and some hyenas and former empires are even capable of that!). And if the West wants to buy something from Russia – by all means! Russia did not create these idiotic sanctions and she sure has no obligation or reason to enforce them against herself.
But the future of Russia is in the South (Mediterranean, Middle-East, Africa, Latin America, Central Asia, the Indian subcontinent, etc.) the East (China) and the North (the Arctic, the Northern Route, the Russian Northeast). Russia is also making major inroads with various Muslim countries who, each for their own reasons, are really getting fed up with the infinite arrogance and incompetence of Uncle Shmuel and seek to collaborate with Russia.
As for the West, it is turning itself into a pile of compost (“Non-binary students up 582% in Maryland school district“) without *any* need for Russian assistance.
Why interrupt it?

As always, I will leave you with some week-end music. Today the topic is “how to make something absolutely beautiful with something extremely simple?“. The following compositions are all based on extremely simple basic elements, yet the end result is amazing in its lyrical beauty and even complexity! I hope that you will enjoy this “simple” music.
First, Pat Metheny in a superb live version (old video, sorry!) of “Are you going with me“:
Next, John McLaughlin playing “Lotus Feet“.
And, finally Philip Catherine‘s superb “Homecomings” in two different versions:
Electric version:
Acoustic version:
after having every major invasion of Russia come from the West for the past 200 years and after recent events, I think it’s clear that Russia should probably write Europe off and fully reorient to Asia where all the growth is. It’s been clear that they aren’t wanted any more
It’ll be weird to be a modern state with the 12th century living across the border. The Powers That Were are engineering a refugee racket right now. Were the Berlin Wall still up Europeans would soon tear it down to get INTO Russia. It’s kind of funny and tragically sad too.
the West is built upon 1000 years plundering the rest of the world especially beginning in the 1500’s continuing to this very day … to their Doom/Judgement .
the industrial revolution created mass everything an abundance but could not change human nature , as the mass murders of the 20th century have intensified in the 21th century
Only God can save us now!!!
There is an ongoing investigation into admins of major military channels on Telegram.
Nine Russian war correspondents may fall under the article on denigration of Russian armed forces. The documents have already been sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the channel Readovka reports (https://t.me/readovkanews/44309).
The suspects of the crime are Kristina Potupchik, Igor Strelkov, Semyon Pegov of @wargonzo. And also the authors of @grey_zone and @rybar, Yuri Podolyaka, Vladlen Tatarsky, Sergey Mardan and Igor Dimitriev.
It is noteworthy that the channel of former DNR commander Igor Strelkov has been “silent” for already four days, without reporting on the latest episodes of the confrontation.
Not a second too soon imnsho
It is reported that Igor Strelkov went to the front as part of a volunteer unit. ( https://t.me/intelslava/39244 )
– So, predictably, “U.N. members vote overwhelmingly to condemn Russia’s annexation in Ukraine“.
100 of the 143 states voting for the non binding resolution are small states / miniature states (example Guyana population 789,683, English as language with 0.3% of English etnicity). While those 45 states not supporting the non binding resolution were mostly bigger states, like Vietnam.
Voting revealed a minority in the world support the NATO resolution.
How many in the world do not support NATO?
G20 = 4700 mill
Non-BRICS G20 = 1463 mill
BRICS = 3237 mill (69%)
If I’m not mistaken, in addition to the countries that abstained, 10 countries did not vote at all (like Iran).
Half of the 143 states who voted for US/NATO resolution were ‘colonies’ in the pockets of US – who had no choice. It takes Biden 2-3 days to collapse the banks in Jamaica if that was the problem
These numbers matters when we try to evaluate the effect of sanctions.
Europa believe BRICS will be the victim if hash sanctions are imposed upon them?
Putin is far too intelligent to fall for the globalists’ idiotic plans to trick Russian into using nukes. Russia does not need to use nukes to achieve its goals 100%, even if those goals evolve into annexing all of Ukraine. If there is any use of nukes, it will undoubtedly be a false flag by the globalists running NATO.
The Empire is projecting their plan on to Russia. Back in the cold war, Plan A for meeting an Soviet offensive was stopping it with nukes. I don’t think there was a Plan B. The plan(s) has probably been transfered to Russia as a successor state of the USSR.
I also seem to have picked up somewhere that the thinking in Pentagon is that a conventional war can be won using tactical nukes, as it is belived to be below the threshold for an all out nuclear response. To which Russia has responded that they will need to threat any rocket entering their territory as a nuclear one, triggering a full nuclear response.
The Pentagon brains are so cleaver they are a danger to the world, and themselves.
Back in the Cold War there was much talk about Cold War. US under Reagan had to stop Communism in Nicaragua. 1978-1985 US had to stop Communism everywhere in Central America .. as illiterate Indians were Soviet agents in Guatemala. And the same in Angola. There was no Soviet Communists in Central America. Cuba did not supply any AK-47 to the rebels next door to them, neither did Soviet.
As the US has given itself the right to launch preemptive nuclear strikes Russia (any country actually) must assume any missile (even artillery shells can be nuclear tipped) is nuclear.
This was pointed out as the danger at the time the US stated their odious and immoral nuclear weapon doctrine.
They really are a Rogue Nation.
Excellent points Andrei… Bravo… just a small typo correction though… didn’t you mean…
… “land of the FEE home of the SLAVE”
Too true re… “forget about the West”!
Dah West, AKA Natostan, has chosen economic death by self-mutilation.
Let them get on with it. Indeed this is why I never lost much sleep over lunatics like Bidet and Miss Trust gaining high office. Imbeciles like this expose the utter absurdity of Western Theatre. They hasten the disintegration of this stinking cesspool. The nett result for humanity will be far less ultimate pain and a much speedier establishment of the new security and financial paradigms.
To me, the progress is spectacular, especially since 2014. The seemingly slow start though allowed the orderly development of the organisations, military clout, and financial instruments that the huge BRIICS+++ movement currently offers humanity. All of this has developed into a viable escape route from the centuries of Western Hegemony.
So yes indeed… forget about the West… as they learn that they cannot prosper any longer with their casino FIRE economies and neo-colonialism [blatant pillaging] as foreign policy. They will one by one come back cap in hand to Russia and the massive new international economic powerhouse. The West will literally beg for late inclusion and acceptance.
Cheers and wishing all a nice weekend

I hope Iran will not sell oil to the US or the UK for at least 50 years.
The real war: People vs. the Banks.
Recessions, debt, energy crisis, inflation and wars… somehow it is all related, and it is related at a global level, impacting nearly all economies and markets. It all seems to be going rather badly for the “rules based global order,” or as some prefer to call it, “the empire of lies.”
We’re winning in Ukraine! Or maybe we’re not…
Part of the problem is the “senseless war” in Ukraine. For weeks now, as the groupthink went, the war has turned in the west’s favor and Ukraine has been winning. Nobody even bothers pretending any more that this war is between Russia and Ukraine: it is now overtly discussed as the war between Russia and the collective west. NATO’s Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg made this plain in yesterday’s press conference: “If Putin wins, that is not only a big defeat for the Ukrainians, but it will be the defeat, and dangerous, for all of us.” But not to worry, said Stoltenberg, “Ukraine has the momentum,” and “President Putin is failing in Ukraine.”

Unfortunately, I suspect Russia will never learn to dissociate itself from that which is so totally dissimilar to itself as long as they continue to believe that they are at one with these same nations which have never done anything other than invade, wage war, and disseminate hatred of Russia.
These are nations who have, over the past 4-5 hundred years, been part of the collective of nations which names themselves “Europe” – {and at the same time vehemently rejected inclusion of Russia with them–}.
Sadly it seems , there are too many in Russia or who claim to have sympathies with Russia, who seem to be suffering stockholm syndrome and vehemently declare that “Russia is European”, whilst never ever stating on what basis, for what reasons, they do so declare.
If Russians see themselves as European, then how can they dissociate from those whom it believes it belongs to as one big family.
If Russia sees Europe as it’s natural own self, how can it be ready to understand the hatred that other European nations have for it; realise it needs to leave all associations which are predominantly European; and be ready to stand up to the bullies and tyrants which have long long formed the ruling elite of these nations with even different to Russian haploid groups in their DNA.
In other words, if Russia wants to stand up shouting “Russia is european” how on earth can she ever see and then say “Europe is our enemy, all European organisations do nothing but try to harm us, therefor we will leave them all”.
Its the same emotional internal agony that needing to start to hit Ukraine brought = “how can we bomb them , they are our brothers”??.
And there are far too mayn populist writers accepted in the West who consistently push this “Russia is Europe, Russia is Eurasia” meme, who are no help to Russia in her long tortured road back to realising exactly who and what she is.
But I propose that ” being European or Eurasian” is not one of Russias’ characteristics. But they are going to have to realise and accept this, before they can realise they need to leave every single organisation of which the Europeans are a part, none of which have any love for Russia at all.
So now Europeans are racists who hate Russians and love Ukrainians.
There are no Europeans, like there are no Americans. It’s a dumb imported Anglo consept.
The people of USA describe themselves as Americans, just like some people of the EU describe themselves as “Europeans”. It’s self centered and megalomaniac.
A person from New York and some peasant in Peru are both “Americans”. Some one from London or a village in Albania, are both “Europeans”. It does not make sense to transfer the Geografy of continents, onto the culture of people. It’s meaningless.
What may confuse Russians, is what difference there is among people that look like themselves, but have a Protestant background. A field trip to the other side should be an eye opener.
Apologies if it’s OT or irrelevant, but what I find problematic is the mentality/idea that Russia is not European just because the European elites say/have said so.
Like, what do said elites know? Why do we give a crap about what they say? They could very well be wrong just like the neocons in the USA. We don’t even know if the same elites even speak for Europe to begin with.
I don’t really get the logic behind an entity hinging its identity on what detractors say about the entity. If anything, it will only make said detractors look sane, give them credibility, etc..
Well, we could simplify the complex and say that Russia has been ruled by a foreign or westernized elite since at Peter I. Conversely, Putin is the first Russian leader in centuries with real, spontaneous, popular support.
As for the Russian people, they are culturally much closer to the Caucasus, Central Asia or even the Mediterranean and the Middle-East than they are to the West. Remember, Russia is the heir to the Roman Empire, while the West is the heir to the Frankish Empire. One is the antithesis of the other.
I consider Russia has having her own “civilizational realm” but at the end of the day, the West was always Russia’s arch enemy and the peoples of Russia never wanted to become part of the West except for the absolutely horrible decade of the 90s.
My 2cts
I didn’t use the word ‘West’ or ‘Western’, but point taken.
You made some sleight of hand by insisting that Europeans hate Russians. Europeans suffer from the same Usurious parasite that is currently set on the destruction of Russia.
“All wars are Bankers’ wars,” General Smedley Butler, the most decorated Marine in US history.
What group has deindustrialized the UK & the US and financialized the US economy?
What group does own mass media?
What group has been lionizing the former homoerotic dancer in heels, who is currently a Jewish Fuehrer of Ukraine?
“The EU brought to its knees by the Straussians, by Thierry Meyssan:
“A US grouping, constituted around the thought of the philosopher Leo Strauss, controls from now on both the Secretariat of Defense and the Secretariat of State. After having organized many wars since those of Yugoslavia, they imagined the one in Ukraine. It is now manipulating the European Union and is preparing to deprive it of energy sources. If European leaders do not open their eyes, their alliance with Washington will lead to the collapse of the Union’s economy. There is no point in believing that Europeans will be spared because they are developed. The Straussians wrote, as early as 1992, that they would not hesitate to destroy Germany and the EU.”
Who has been supporting this “Straussian grouping” politically and financially? There is a Lobby and a trribe, which one cannot criticize, don’t you know?
By the way, Russians do maintain European civilization, and who knows, perhaps they will be able to save the European civilization from the supremacist Usurers.
My thoughts exactly, especially the last bit.
I think there’s a line to be drawn between ‘Western’ and ‘European’, and the latter term can have different definitions depending on context. If some here insist that Russia isn’t a European nation, then I’d like to ask Batiushka under what basis she (or he) considers Russia to be European as done in the column titled ““Lies, Lies, Lies”“.
If Russians see themselves as European, then how can they dissociate from those whom it believes it belongs to as one big family.
This was definitely the case in the 90s
Less so in the 00s
Not true at all since 2021 (opinion polls confirm that).
Also, did you listen to what Putin had to say these last days??
No, that’s over.
Russia wants NO part of “western civilization” (or lack thereof)
I agree, from all I see, especially interviews on the streets that Patrick Lancaster has been conducting, Russians have shed what might have been left of any old longing to be thought to be part of the West, and “European”.
It’s an anachronistic idea only those still stuck in their own past could still be clinging to.
I was delighted also, to hear Putin categorically declaim the role “Anglosaxons” have played.
There’s nothing like the joy of seeing things clearly I think. 😊
I just got word that Ukraine’s finance minister Sergii Marchenko has been appointed “Governor for 2023 at the Board of Governors of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF)” https://www.ukrinform.net/rubric-economy/3593471-minister-marchenko-elected-as-governor-for-2023-at-the-board-of-governors-of-world-bank-imf.html
The friend who sent this to me lives in Austria and would like as wide a range of opinions as she can get on what this portends. Specifically, she wonders if this means the banking crash is scheduled for 2023.
My impression right off is that the move is meant primarily to boost the narrative that Ukraine is goody-goody-good, and not a black hole for finances and armaments, oh, and absolutely not corrupt! How could anyone think such a thing!
@Patricia
If this report is true, then the western Zone A Hegemon’s tactics just went from the sublime to the completely ridiculous.
https://www.imf.org/en/About/executive-board/members-quotas
A cursory look at the IMF voting shares of countries and it is indeed plausible… the yes votes countries I quickly listed below would take them over the 50% mark.
USA/UK/Spain/Netherlands/Korea/Japan/Italy/Germany/France/Denmark/Canada/Belgium/Australia
These major countries would make up 2,511,000 votes without any minor Natostan yapping lapdog votes even being required.
So it looks like the self-mutilation of the West just reached a completely new level of absurdity.

What a strange site and unusual information in the link. I had problems getting away from it! Certainly I had heard nothing of this before now.
Thank you to both Col and Rosemerry, for their input on this. I’ll wait for confirmation to give it any more credibility.

Military Summary (and others) are saying that Ukraine has amassed 60,000 troop on the Kherson border and are about to attack Kherson City. There are reports that the head of the Kherson region has asked for help in evacuating citizens
RT reports that “Putin rules out further major strikes on Ukraine for now”.
If Russia were to continue major strikes on Ukraine maybe Ukraine wouldn’t be able to launch this offensive.
Russia has been far too soft so far.
The Kherson offensive began last night. Telegram reports the first Ukranazi attack was annihilated, the Russian Navy – finally back from its holiday post the Moskva sinking – is hitting Nikolayev, and I saw photos of Russian naval marine troops landing to reinforce Kherson.
Hopefully the demoralising and apparently endless withdrawals are finally over.
yes, Putin is a jerk for not asking you when and how to wage this war!
“Euroasia” does not mean European. It indicates the reality that Russia has one foot on the European peninsula while her body is in Asia. Why someone invented the sub-part “Europe” in the first place is simply historical concept manipulation and needs deprecation.
In 20/30 years, schoolchildren (well anyone still hanging around Europe) will be asking themselves how the whole continent of Europe could get it so wrong. The best and brightest will be working in Asia, Russia, Iran, where the bulk of engineering & science innovation is located.

I know a lot of people have a version of this signature guitar. I have heard somewhere that John Coltrane liked the chord progression as well.
Happy Friday to all!
THANKS!!! Finally somebody noticed my music videos :-)
Guitar wise, I was an Ovations user in the first part of my life, now I have 2 Godins which I love (one nylon acoustic and one fullbody electric).
The one Gibson which I will never afford but which I wish I had is the 6+12 doubleneck Gibson like the one which both Page and McLaughlin used…
Happy week end to you too!
Andrei
I really appreciate the music. There have been some outstanding recommendations and it is a privilege to learn about different artists that I haven’t encountered. I hope music Friday stays a regular thing.
I forgot to mention that we are a musical family. I have to buy all the instruments so mainly we play Yamaha. Not too fancy but you get a lot of instrument for the price.
Agreed! Also, for guitars, Ibanez has absolutely fantastic guitars for a very reasonable price, like the Ibanez Artcore AS93 which I got from Amazon years ago for 549 bucks. That guitar is worth at least double, in terms of what you get.
Well, since at least one readers appreciated the Friday music, I will keep it going for a while :-)
thank you!

The EU plans to step up its military support for Ukraine with an extra €500 million to reimburse members’ arms donations and a new initiative to train 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers on EU soil, according to several diplomats.
The move is expected to be finalized on Monday when EU foreign affairs ministers gather in Luxembourg.
The additional weapons funding would bring the EU’s total to €3.1 billion since the start of Russia’s war in Ukraine — all sourced from the “European Peace Facility,” a fund that operates outside the EU’s normal budget, which is prohibited from paying for such military endeavors. via politico
Serbia is a tight spot regarding recognising border changes due to its stance on Kosovo.
Also, the hypocracy of west knows no limits. They recognised the secession of former Yugoslavia and Soviet states, but dont recognise the decession of Ukrainian states. Also, they talk about Democracy but dont recognise the will of the people.
Seems the only official authority needed to pronounce others guilty of terrorism is centuries of performing terrorism.
Information from the supremely well-funded propaganda of the west only rings true when the names of the accused are exchanged with those held above any reproach or contempt.
The MSM has become like all other US product. It is judged domestically by how well it’s marketed. The amount of money spent to produce our military is seen as the end of the story. Its actual worth is on full display in Ukraine. Sadly, few report the facts to a wide audience.
The unthrottled use of sanctions by Empire have rendered a UN vote that is not secret irrelevant.
Thankfully alternate institutions are rising up to end the hegemony of the cabal. God grant that these new institutions may purge their members from the pernicious influence of evil.

But I still haven’t found what I am looking for. This remains a mighty fine place to look, thanks Saker
🇺🇲🇺🇦 Biden announced a new $725 million military aid package to be provided to Kiev.
The new package of US military assistance to Ukraine will include ammunition for HIMARS and artillery, the Pentagon said.
True, but to be honest, 725 millions is a drop in the ocean of modern warfare. Furthermore, US made toys are pricey, even if rather ineffective against a modern military. Finally, most of that money will go to US “contractors” and assorted Ukie crooks (who might even resell them to third parties).
But yes, this is just the latest iteration of Uncle Shmuel’s message to both the EU and Russia: f. you.
It will be received and understood as such.
💢 The EU is not able to cover all the costs of member countries providing military assistance to Ukraine, Politico reports, citing diplomats.
@NewResistance
soooo…as Z wanted….EU will become Ukraine ….bankrupt.
I believe you mean now threatening.
My friend who recently emigrated to Canada asked me about this. Apparently there are people in Canada who still wave the blueyellow nazi rag around and they believe anything that’s said.
I think we’re going to see Kiev Offensive II any day now, and this time done properly. Lukashenko might or might not want to get involved as well.
Yes, of course, thanks for the warning, I changed this typo to what is should have been “now” and not “not”.
I don’t believe that Kiev will be liberated by ground forces anytime soon, but strikes on Kiev are a quasi-certainty.
Cheers
other factors in the financial ? “equation”…Eu countries losses due to sanctions eg Germany 100b ..France 53b Italy 60b UK 100b etc (seems like under counted for me …excludes all the extra energy costs they must pay for replacement energy)???

USA seized assets 300b central bank plus 30b other assets.. EU recently says has frozen 30b and considers another 17.5b of Rus assets could be seized …Uk froze 500b …Canada has passed legislation to seize assets
military actions against Russia could cost more than 1 trillion someone said somewhere… ?
BTW.. any further news developments of various legal actions Russia could persue against eg USA for diplomatic seizures …via WTO for illegal sanctions to start with . ???
