The statement that Bangkok is too far south to benefit from flying over Russia from e.g. Oslo is incorrect. Norwegian’s (the airline) non-stop route to Bangkok flies down to Turkey before turning east. It is a much longer route than flying non-stop from Oslo over Russia to Bangkok, as Thai International does it. Both airlines offer daily flights from Oslo, and flying with Thai is much preferred because of the shorter distance, I have tried both.
My nickname does not indicate any affiliation with the airline, if that wasn’t already obvious :-)
Russia should shut down all flights from UK. The Highly Likely need a kick in the ass.
Offset the lost income with new fees from competitive airlines.
A US-american voice telling us that Russia is not part of Europe. Right.
