As I have previously announced, we are now “freezing” the blog. We are also making archives of the blog available for free download in various formats (see below). The Creative Commons CC-BY-SA 4.0 International license (creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0) under which this archive is released allows you to:
- Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
- Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
You do NOT need to ask for permission or even inform anybody.
I would be deeply grateful if as many of you as possible made it possible for this archive to be hosted on as many locations as possible.

How to access/download frozen “thesaker.is”
1, Frozen site … current site your on with commenting disabled and no new posts added
click on where you want to go … however this site is frozen
2. static site #1 type… current site converted to html only .. requires a server using apache2 .. however no php, no mysql and no wordpress are needed

3. static site #2 type … again current site converted to html only but NO server required … can be downloaded to your PC and access the static html using only a browser

4. full backup of site with all users/admin accounts removed .. requires server with full LAMP stack
