On Monday, Sep 19, there was an attack on a joint convoy of the UN and the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) near the area of Urum al-Kubra. As a result, 18 trucks were destroyed, killing more than 10 employees who are trying to help the Syrian people. The incident occurred after US-led opposition fighters had resumed military operations, which essentially put on the brink of failure-week truce.
Nowadays it is uncertain who carried out the attack. However, it is worth to to get it all sorted out whom it may be beneficial for. In this context, it should be getting a view of the US factor.
First, supporting ISIS terrorists attacked on the humanitarian convoy, U.S. is trying to distract the world’s attention from the anti-terrorist coalition air strikes on the positions of the Syrian army near Deir ez-Zor.
It also should be mentioned that quoting the Pentagon’s statements the US publishing house “The Los Angeles Times” named the actions of Washington-led coalition as “unfortunate mistake” because the original purpose of the coalition fighters was to apply airstrikes on the positions of militants ISIS.
Second, speaking by the actions of US-backed opposition units Washington has never wanted to fulfill the terms of the agreement. That is why the truth was used by the US-backed terrorist groups only to regroup and restore fighting.
The US side actively accuses the Syrian government and its allies of the attack on the humanitarian convoy, suppressing the criminal actions of militants. However, the exact location of the convoy was known only to the armed opposition militants, who controlled the area.
Syrian Defense Minister Gen. Fahd Jassem al-Freij said that neither Syria nor its allies had not been involved in the attack on the humanitarian convoy.
Based on the video submissions from the Russian side, it becomes clear that the attack was not from the air (as the US side is trying to persuade). There haven’t been found any craters from explosions, car body and buildings haven’t been destroyed by the shock wave.
In addition, analyzing the video from drones if was noticed that a pickup hitched militants with mortar went next the humanitarian convoy. Then it disappeared. He was likely ready for the attack on the convoy.
The result of the attack on the convoy was not only the failure of cease-fire regime. Dozens of thousands of people have lost hope for the beginning of a quiet life. Civilians are banking on support of the Syrian government army, which is able to destroy militants and restore order in their native country.
The cease-fire regime was supposed to be a real chance to end the massive bloodshed, but US-led terrorist groups are deliberately violated the terms of the agreement for the development of new phase of the war, that killed hundreds of thousands of lives. The Syrian army has no choice but to take tough measures to suppress terrorist aggression to defend their country and the civilian population.
“Based on the video submissions from the Russian side, it becomes clear that the attack was not from the air (as the US side is trying to persuade). ”
Not true, the attack is very likely from the air with a HellFire missile fired from a US Predator drone.
Agreed; the video footage of the fireball indicates the signature of an incendiary or even more likely hyperbaric weapon. The weapon suggested is the AGM-114 ‘N’ version Hellfire II as carried by Predator drones. Not being a munitions expert I have wondered whether the blast wave from an AGM-114N would have flattened those trucks?
Maybe there is a dial-a-yield ‘lite’ version or alternatively ground launched hyperbaric weapons were also involved?
No, the design is intended to concentrate the explosive force within a smaller effective volume than equivalent conventional explosive. This increases the lethality within that volume and reduces damage outside.
Another hoax coming up this week:the conclusions of the Dutch ‘investigation’ team about the MH17.
A good diversion to once again attack Russia. And I’m sure they have more in store(new sanctions?)
Putin must visit France the first week of oct…if I was him I would cancel this visit as a retaliation.
Elections campaign time now in France it will be a good opportunity for the ‘right(sarkozy and co)to support Putin and even more ridiculize Hollande(now in full anti Russia mode).
Putin should not go to France in October. France at UN was blaming Russia for the convoy attack with no real facts. France is not an independent nation, it is a US vassal and nothing more. It is a waste of time visiting any US vassal. Vassals can’t say or do anything without looking across to sea to what their masters want.
Putin should not travel to any western countries period. They are trying to kill him.
I have already seen two articles in anticipation. All mention the Russian BUK missile, by which they mean Russian-made, but it sounds like it was a Russian weapon. Normally, one would simply call it a BUK missile (by this time everybody knows they’re Russian made), since the question revolves around which party fired it (Ukraine, Russia, or pro-Russian separatists). [The pro-Russian separatists is another continually repeated rhetorical device: Of course they’re pro-Russian … they speak Russian and are ethnic Russian; do you ever hear about pro-Canadian Canadians or pro-Spanish Spaniards?] Ukraine has been given a pass by the western media, but they are the party that has benefited, and so, should be on the top of the list of suspects.
Were there evey any incidents in which a BUK was used successfully in the theatre? No. We do know the Ukrainians had BUK systems driving around. Why would they? Against whom would they have been useful? The accidental targeting theory makes no sense. It was a deliberate action, probably by the party who gained from it. It is like the attack on Deir ez-Zor. How could anyone possibly think that it could be anything but a premeditated deliberate action? And who is the first party to offer an explanation? Almost always it is the guilty party!
It was Uks responsibility to assure safe air traffic. So when finally there will be monetary claims UKs will have to pay.
Yes, it did ( remove the truce). The question now becomes: Has the US leadership decided to implement “Plan B”? Disturbingly enough, Lavrov made a rather sour reference to “Plan B” in his recent statements. ( Plan B is the unspoken US project to fragment Syria)
If so, it is clear that the Turks will be on board, but not so clear if the Israelis will, especially if they decide it is time to move on the Golan which may keep them out of the main action for now but it is my cynical assessment that 38$ billion was given to them to perform a dastardly deed sooner or later.
More will be revealed.
“The cease-fire regime was supposed to be a real chance to end the massive bloodshed,”
I think that idea of a cease fire to “save bloodshed” was flawed at its very core since it depends on the actual existence of armed but “moderate” opposition. “Moderate opposition” is a purely American propaganda construct. There are no “moderate,” terrorists any more than there are moderately pregnant women. I completely agree with James Jatras, here interviewed at RT: https://www.rt.com/news/360571-unsc-syria-meeting-russia/
Finian Cunningham has also said the same thing: moderates don’t exist. They exist as a construct enabling the US-Turkey to insert itself and begin the fragmentation of Syria, in accordance with their usual MO, also advocated from the very beginning by the Zionists (see Oded Yinon, along with the PNAC spinoff docs).
As the Syrians have often insisted, there does exist a moderate and therefore unarmed opposition in Syria; they are not terrorists.
Sputnik News just came out with the latest in jaw-dropping American arrogance and hypocrisy:

When will Americans–and perhaps the Russians too–ever get it through their heads that behind it all is an Anglo-Zionist conspiracy to remove all national boundaries; fragment the MIddle East; globalize finance and money; bring about the Pax Judaica of 666–after initiating the Great War that destroys the US and also Russia.
STOP playing around with diplomacy and baseless trust. To hell with the dying American Empire. Lets get this over with! Syria, Russia, China, Iran, Hisbollah – go at the US proxy-killers and destroy them all. The world is on your side.
You are being foolish. For an agressor nation, such as the US, once a war is started against a nation it is quite easy to re-direct, morph or expand it towards any goal you wish. The problem is getting a war started without taking the blame for starting it. The US desperately wants to go head to head with Russia because this is a fight to the death – if the US looses the ability to skim global dollar trade and to issue unlimited debt, it will quickly loose it ability to pay its existing debts and interest and therefore must hand over its assets and sovereignty to its creditors (China and the banks, as Greece had to). If Russia looses, their country will be devoured. Russia has been extraordinarily brilliant in destroying the US in Ukraine and Syria without giving America the justification it so desperately seeks to claim a direct attack on its sovereignty and declare all out war.
No one has so far commented on the heroism of the Syrian army while being bombarded by the US war planes for over an hour a couple of weeks ago. Two A10’s and two helicopters – the four slowest, easiest targets in modern arial combat. I have no doubt at all that someone was screaming down the telephone to the Syrian troops to not retaliate. I am absolutely certain that had one of those planes been brought down the US would have declared it an act of war and invaded. It is by such acts of non-retaliation that the US is being frustrated and defeated by Russia.
So,can we expect to see you as a volunteer in the SAA.I imagine it will be pretty easy to find a Syrian soldier that will let you take his place under a bombing raid by the US. Since you belief those men should not defend themselves, but just stand there and let the US kill them defenseless. There is little doubt you will be welcome as a stand in for a least one of the young soldiers.Anyone else here thinking the same, can be assured they too are free to stand in for another soldier as well.Rest assured you can find a soldier willing to trade off that position with you.Maybe in that case, you might rethink that idea.
USA wants a war in Syria it can win, as per Iraq. A direct all-out assault on a sovereign government and its leader.
It can’t win by being fronted up by a mercenary army composed of chaotic Saudi and N African crazies.
So it tries repeatedly to procure a direct attack on a recognised US asset that will justify direct involvement of the US military. Let’s not discuss that the asset is illegally operating in a sovereign state – the media can be relied on to gloss over that one.
I am certain that Syrian and Russian troops are under strict orders not to give the US this opening, whatever the price.
The fact that no plane was shot down over a military facility under attack for an hour or more is bizzare if it were not deliberate. If the Syrian army are not simply under-equipped and incompetent, I can only assume it was heroic restraint.
What I mean by ‘war they can win’ is ‘a war that gives them the result they want’, which is country bombed into the stone age with at least two generations of patsy leadership who owe their existence and wealth to the US. ie. a vassal state that won’t sell their mineral riches in anything other than dollars.
Aside from F16 is not a helicopter, I agree with “proper gander”. If the Syrians would that responded and shot down the planes, the west would attack full scale and the situation for Syria would have been very bad. I guess that the reason why US sent Danish and Australian pilots was not only to save their own pilots, but also hoping that if the Syrians shot down a plane, more people around the world would be more upset that if it was “only” US pilots. They know that they are not so popular, so better to let the Danes and Australia have some casualties.
Trying to give an accurate account of the hostilities half a world away, is like trying to paint, in oils with a blindfold on, David’s ‘Consecration of Napoleon’ or Gericault’s ‘Raft of the Medusa’. A French pictorial summary of A to Z.
There’s so much we don’t know and much that we do know isn’t accurate.
We can only rely on the proven instinct and intuition of our fellows.
Your points are valid, proper gander; thank you. It is as it was in Ukraine, and I remember the thanks expressed by Putin to Ukraine then that a military confrontation was avoided when Crimea asked for annexation, although the hotheads are still wreaking havoc in the east. For the sake of the world’s survival, not only for Syria itself, this is the only policy that will work.
Brave men indeed to have endured this.
Watching on Cassad.net, the military activity map of Aleppo, no matter how much Fire and Iron is used buy Russian, the situation remained unchanged. There is a stalemate.
The Russians should never have gone along with the “moderate” but terrorist opposition to begin with. By now, if they had never agreed to the “cease fire” ploys the terrorists would by now be destroyed or all but destroyed and the war in Syria would be coming to an end, and the political settlement process would be underway. It has been a grave error to trust in the US, which history shows has never kept its agreements, and as PC Roberts has shown has never kept its agreements since Clinton. Like its parent England, “perfidious Albion,” the US is also an exemplar of perfidy. Now the US and the Trojan Horse Turks are in Syria, and Russia now cannot win unless it drives them out, which as PCR probably correctly observes, it will not do. The war was always in any case inevitable. This is what hasn’t been grasped. Russia will have to fight, but now the price it will have to pay will be far greater.Or it will have to submit.
Some time ago someone wrote that Putin was “too humanitarian” to fight a nuclear war, and would prefer to submit to the globalists rather than that so people die. I doubt that Putin is so ignoble. A truly religious person does not fear death to the point of losing all dignity and self-worth. Christ warned about those who fear death but not the loss of one’s soul.
typo: and would prefer to submit to the globalists rather than that so people die
should read “rather than that so many people should have to die.”
Tony Cartalucci:
“Syria’s conflict cannot be resolved through disingenuous political deals brokered by a party who seeks only to finish its stated objective of “regime change” and the “partitioning” of a sovereign nation. Thus, Syria’s fate will be determined on the battlefield amid a struggle between America’s faltering political capital and the reality of Syrian, Russian, and Iranian military and logistical limitations when faced with the US and its multinational military, economic, and political coalition arrayed to dismember and destroy Syria.”
http://journal-neo.org/2016/09/25/as-the-syrian-ceasefire-collapses/
Lavrov said that there is no military solution Syria, but I agree with Cartalucci, there is only a military solution. Destroy the Takfiris. Only then will there be the possibility of a political solution. A political solution demands good faith all around. This is something the Anglo-Zionists are not able to bring to the table. They shouldn’t even be in Syria at all–their presence is illegal. The Russians never should have allowed it. It was totally illogical, incoherent.
It wasn’t a question of Russia ‘allowing’ them to be there – the proxies are already being used, and directed in Syria.
US and the rest would have simply overridden Russian/Syrian objections.
So it becomes a battlefield.
It’s true there is no military solution to the .destabilization of the Middle East, nor can it exclusively decide the outcome in Syria: the Kurdish problem is one main aspect, not just as opposition to Assad, but because of internecine strife. So ultimately will the conflict with Turkey need a political solution.
The Israeli and US proxies can only be dealt with militarily however. The only real possibility of peace will come from the populations of the home countries demanding it, not from the corrupt current leadership who have too much money involved.
Nevertheless, they are all Lavrov, Churkin etc have to deal with.
For now.
It will be down to how much ‘pain’ Russia inflicts on the takfiris, and indifference to US/Israel ‘collateral damage’: if their personnel are aiding and abetting terror, they are fair game as criminals.
Churkin has announced there will be no more ‘unilateral’ decisions (ie obeisance by Syria/Russia to US demands) which pretty much is dip-talk for ‘gloves off.’
The reported killings of seven Russian soldiers in the Deir el Zor attack is the red line.
I think Powers realized that, that’s why all the bluster – she was actually pretty agitated.
Russian diplomacy has been very adroit and nimble so far, but in my view is making far too many concessions – concessions which are one-sided, with the US and its vassals acting in bad faith, and which emboldens them to go even further. If the adversary is intent on a war (or at least is giving the impression of being intent) then Putin must eventually call a halt. The neo-con war party in DC will push and push until the final stand-off arrives. They hope that Russia will surrender, in fact, they are banking on it. Their military advisers must be aware of what Russia can do and the damage it can inflict, so they must know too. This moment could come in the Ukraine, Syria or in Russia’s north-west where the Poles, Swedes, and Balts have been baying for war for some time. I think that the stand-off will eventually reach this point, and it has to since the alternative is abject surrender and the creation of a world slave empire dominated by the US.
It was Winston Churchill who in 1938 castigated the British Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, in the House of Commons for his capitulation to Hitler’s phoney peace offerings in Munich. “You were given the choice between war and dishonour. You chose dishonour, and you will have war.”
Which pretty much sums up Putin’s dilemma – and humanity’s
Like Stalin’s temporizing with the Third Reich, each day the “Third Reich Empire” grows weaker, and each day Ivan grows stronger. Comrade Stalin had to split Poland…so we see Syria being divided. But each day the scale tilts further. Each outrage coalesces Ivan’s resolve even as it undermines the Empire’s “authority”. Concessions are necessary to the strategy, and the strategy necessary to survival. If strategy works Syria will survive. So will Russia. Concessions skate the edge of the abyss of nuclear obliteration…how had a bargain ought Comrade Putin drive, when he is winning?
The Swedes are definitely not ‘baying for war.
In fact, only a couple of weeks ago they announced they saw little need for further integration with NATO. They also said they saw no threat from Russia.
So what the Bonnier-controlled Swedish media and fifth columnists say is not the reality.
And there is definite opposition in Poland to being the ‘sacrificial goat’ in the NATO scheme: it is being quashed, but definitely there.
Plus, polish intelligence had issued warnings prior to the Warsaw summit – a noisy goon show if ever there was one – that there was little to justify perceptions of a Russian ‘threat.’
So any attempts by Polish politicians to escalate tensions is faced with internal opposition – and sabotage. For all their enthusiasm for US, the Poles are not going to die for it.
Which leaves the Baltics. Even Estonia is showing signs of wariness of being used as a pawn.
Lithuania is ridiculous – it has no serious army since it embraced US neoliberalism, and caused hundreds of thousands to emigrate. I can’t see them returning to become cannon-fodder for their corrupt elites.
The smartest option for them all is to prevent NATO starting anything – and start making pacific noises on the direction of Russia.
It is amazing 20-30 % Baltic states population emigrate to GOLDEN WEST since 1992 !!!!!
The only choice Putin made was NOT to make Russia’s attitude at the peace talks too bellicose. To make even more concessions. Bewildering though they may seem to us.
Why?
In less than 2 months, Russia’s ‘archenemy’ elects a CiC and Putin did not want Russia’s intransigence at the peace table to be the main topic of the campaign.
Besides widening the war with more Russian military, risking a major flareup with no known ending, how would all you armchair experts proceed.
Russia is using diplomacy to end the civil war. They have taken thousands of fighters against Assad off the battlefield. The US will have no one to call moderate soon. No one to mix with their terrorist armies, al Nusra/al Sham and ISIS.
Russia is very smart about what the goal is, how to achieve it.
The US is a mastermind of chaos and death.
Do you really want a wider war?
In a forty-four days, Trump will be elected and this will wind down.
Tony Cartalucci:
“Syria’s conflict cannot be resolved through disingenuous political deals brokered by a party who seeks only to finish its stated objective of “regime change” and the “partitioning” of a sovereign nation. They shouldn’t even be in Syria at all–their presence is illegal. The Russians never should have allowed it. It was totally illogical, incoherent.
I should add: the war in Syria is not a civil war. That is the root cause of misapprensions. Syria has been invaded, just as Kosovo, Iraq, and Libya were invaded.
As Assad says, the war could be wound down in months but for the external parties. Now the Turks have established a bridgehead in northern Syrian, precisely the corridor through which weapons have flowed (Jarablus). And the Americans have directly engaged the SAA. Any gains by the Syrian state can be stymied by moves from other parties. This is what the Russians also mean when they say there is no military solution: It is not about the Syrians but about external parties.
Well yes, decisive action implies risks. Being in Syria at all implies risks.
You are assuming that diplomacy can end the war. How would that proceed? The Takfiris are not just going to vanish. They are completely capable of turning on their masters, moreover. Russia was right at the outset: they must be destroyed.
You also assume Trump will be elected. That is a very bold assumption. Moreover, Trump is absolutely pro-Israel. No less so than Clinton.
So, I agree with Cartalucci. The terrorist opposition must be destroyed, and it cannot be destroyed by diplomacy. There can be no peace while Takfiris are allowed to exist and act. The Russians were hoping the US would stop using them. That was wishful thinking. They are necessary elements in the greater Zionist plan to fragment the Middle East for the sake of Greater Israel, and they are necessary elements for the Corporatist interests to ensure hegemony over energy and pipelines, as Escobar has explained.
Agreed, mostly, but give over on all this trump wishful thinking.
In the same way that Obama rode into the white house on the back of blacks and hispanics, Trump is riding in on his own demographic support. He has espoused increased surveillance, increased military, a continuing support of apartheid Israel; he has not spoken out about any US autrocities, arms deals etc. He will say whatever it takes to get himself and his family at the top table of oligarchs. Doesn’t the ‘Make America Great again’ slogan mean anything to you? America is pre-eminent because it forces tribute in the form of dollar hegemony out of the world at the point of a gun. If he even begins to dismantle that structure, he will make America an irreversible banana republic. For crying out loud, he is a billionaire with all his assets denominated in dollars. You actually believe he will compromise that? Gee whizz, you don’t understand power or wealth or the pushing and shovings of aristocrats like we English do. They will put any threat, from a bastard child to a nation, to the sword to raise or cement their position and influence among their peer group.
On a more positive note, let’s hope that since the US admits it cannot impose a no-fly zone without going to war, and since its duplicity has now been unmasked by the bombing of Deir Ez-Zor, then for all intents and purposes it may bow out eventually and gradually, since it looks as though Aleppo can be won by the Syrians. If it bows out, the treacherous Turks will have to make a similar decision. However, the Anglo-Zionists may come up with another provocative scheme, esp. if Clinton is elected. At any rate, they can keep supplying arms and “advice” either directly or through Turkish and Saudi proxies, not to mention Israeli help.
I also think that it was very wise of Assad to tell the Kurds that a Kurdish “canton'(?) within Syria is conceivable. At last. They deserve it. They hate the Takfiris, and have stoutly fought them, and certainly some political arrangement can be made for relative Kurdish autonomy within a united Syria.

He Who Hesitates Is Lost And Russia Hesitated
Paul Craig Roberts
The Russian government deceived itself with its fantasy belief that Russia and Washington had a common cause in fighting ISIS. The Russian government even went along with the pretense that the various ISIS groups operating under various pen names were “moderate rebels” who could be separated from the extremists, all the while agreeing to cease fighting on successive verges of victory so that Washington could resupply ISIS and prepare to introduce US and NATO forces into the conflict. The Russian government apparently also thought that as a result of the coup against Erdogan, which was said to implicate Washington, Turkey was going to cease supporting ISIS and cooperate with Russia.
Alas, the Russians so fervently, or perhaps I should say feverishly, desired an agreement with Washington that they deceived themselves. If Finian Cunningham’s report is correct, Washington has taken advantage of Russia’s urging that Washington and Turkey join in the attack on ISIS by invading northern Syria under the guise of “fighting ISIS.”
Syria has now been partitioned, and the pretend or fake “moderate rebels” can be built up inside the US/Turkish occupied areas of Syria and the war against Syria kept going for as long as Washington wants. The western presstitutes will report that the Turkish/American forces occupying areas of Syria are not invaders but are attacking ISIS.
With US, Turkish, and, little doubt, soon other NATO troops operating inside Syria, the neoconservatives will have many opportunities to provoke a conflict with Russia from which Russia will have to stand down or reply with force. In the event of a Trump presidential victory, the neocons want to make certain Trump is embroiled in a war that will prevent an accommodation with Russia.
It is unclear whether US Secretary of State Kerry’s effort to arrange a Syrian ceasefire was sincere and he was sandbagged by the Pentagon and CIA. Regardless, if Kerry was sincere, he is obviously unable to stand up to the neocons, blessed as the State Department is with Victoria Nuland and a number of other warmongers.
Obama is equally weak, which is why he was chosen by the oligarchy as president. A person without experience and knowledge is an excellent tool for the oligarchy. American blacks and white liberals actually believed that an inexperienced candidate from nowhere without an organization of his own could make a difference. Apparently, the gullibility of a majority of Americans is endless. This American hallmark of gullibility is why a handful of neoconservatives can so easily lead the sheeple into endless wars.
The idiot Americans have been at war for 15 years and the morons have no idea what has been achieved. The fools are unaware that the US in its decades long accumulation of weakness now confronts two major nuclear powers: Russia and China.
Americans have been taught by the presstitutes serving the military/security complex that nuclear war is not all that different from ordinary war. Look at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, two targets of American atomic bombs. Today, seven decades later, the cities are flourishing, so what’s the problem with nuclear weapons?
The atomic bombs that Washington dropped on these helpless civilian centers while the Japanese government was trying to surrender, were mere popguns compared to today’s thermo-nuclear weapons. One Russian SS-18 wipes out three-fourths of New York state for thousands of years. Five or six of these “Satans” as they are known by the US military, and the East Coast of the United States disappears.
Russia had a victory for Syria and democracy in its hands, but Putin lacked the decisiveness of a Napoleon or a Stalin and let his victory slip away as a result of false hopes that Washington could be trusted. Now a Russian/Syrian victory would require driving the Turks and Americans out of Syria.
If Russia struck hard and fast, Russia could succeed by using Washington’s lie and claiming that Russia thought the US and Turkish forces were ISIS, just as Washington claimed when Washington intentionally struck a known Syrian Army position.
If Russia actually annihilated the Turkish and US force, which Russia could easily do, NATO would collapse, because no European country wants to be destroyed in World War 3. But Russia won’t collapse NATO by decisive action. The Russians won’t fight until war is absolutely and totally forced upon them. Then they will pay a huge price for their indecisiveness rooted in their foolish belief that Russia has common grounds with Washington. The only common grounds Russia has with Washington requires Russia’s surrender. If Russia will surrender, Russia can achieve Western acceptance, and Washington’s agents, the Russian Atlanticist Integrationists, can rule Russia for Washington.

” One Russian SS-18 wipes out three-fourths of New York state for thousands of years. Five or six of these “Satans” as they are known by the US military, and the East Coast of the United States disappears.”
PCR is off the rockers. Is this guy really publicly calling for genocide??
Just the opposite. He is trying to wake people up to the horrors of nuclear weapons today. He thinks the US leaders should not “fool themselves” and “us”,that nuclear war is survivable with no long lasting affects. And the only way to get it into “their heads” is to portray the stark reality in all its horror.
It is not Craig-Roberts who is ‘off his rocker’ it is the semi-demented neo-cons and their fellow travellers who need to be informed on what a nuclear exchange would be like. Americans seem to imagine that they are somehow invulnerable, they are not, and this fact needs to be brought home to them.
The obvious conclusion is that Russia is prepared for war and working towards it. Washington is being lead step by step, only when its to late will Washington realise that they have been played. Moscow at every step is offering Washington a peaceful alternative. It is Washington throwing tantrums not Moscow.
Moscow is piece by piece destroying the EU and NATO, you think i am wrong, let history be the judge.
There is one thing that is missing from Robert’s analysis. The Russians are not being played by the Americans. The Russians are forcing the real game that the Americans are playing out into the open. Each step the Russians take it becomes more and more obvious what the role of the Americans is and has been. It is a process of ongoing revelation.
The so-called coalition has been bombing the Syrian state’s infrastructure, they have been co-ordinating and helping IS, and now they are acting as their air force. The first day of the air campaign the Americans dropped more ordinance than they had the previous month and a half fighting ISIS in Iraq. The Turks also launched air raids against the Kurds, but 30 of 31 targets were outside of Kurdish territory. Does anybody believe that the whole world could be concertedly bombing ISIS without degrading their ability to fight? You would have to believe they are supermen favoured by Allah to believe this.
The Russians are slowly getting into the open the role of the US and Turkey in creating and supporting ISIS and this whole war. America can get away with a lot, but the perception that the US is the primary sponsor of terrorism and IS is not something the CIA/Pentagon can simply sweep under the carpet. Even the illiterates in the American homeland are questioning more and more on whose side their government is on.
While Western governments call for the removal of Assad the facts on the ground tell a tale of total Hypocrisy. The truth is that the ceasefire negotiated with Assad was broken by the US/Britain and Australia when they illegally entered Syria and murdered over 60 troops in Deir Ezzor which was a planned attack in conjunction with ISIL to end the ceasefire.
The Western governments part in this entire regime change operation is disgraceful and they all must be put before war crimes tribunals for their part in supporting these atrocities. Any government who is not invited by the Syrian government is in breach of international law, the fact that the Western government support the overthrow of the legally elected government in total breach of international law speaks volumes.
The fact that these same government sends weapons, money and training to UN mandated terrorists as a means of removing Assad just shows how despicable they are.
Is there anything more evil than this? I DONT THINK SO.
Is there anything more evil than this? I DONT THINK SO.
Perhaps, the only thing more evil is how the mainstream corporate media have stood reality on its head and portray the American Axis nations as the “good guys” who are noblely trying to save the Syrian people no less!
This American-led media machine needs to be put on trial for war crimes as well.

Anyway what a busy day at the UN with the U.S. and her puppets France and the UK trying to influence the news cycle by calling the Russia guilty of war crimes and them the UK ambassador staging a walkout.
War crimes – US, France and UK have the nerve to accuse Russia!
What can we take from this – it’s an attempt to create pressure in Russua to stop the war in Aleppo.
The media like the tame puppets are reporting that evil witch Samantha power calling Russia “Barbarians” which is a typical anti Slavic insult.
The only thing that Russia needs to do is to repeat loudly they are fighting terrorism – and keep doing the job
Perhaps a bit more than just insulting Russia. Seems like a media build up for a bit of perception management to get the people in the mood for another coalition of the killing.
When acts of this nature take place -bombings and killings etc. – the question to always ask is cui bono?
Who the hell benefits?
Who are the ones, who, before the dust literally settles, are on all the TV shows pointing fingers, making accusations and assigning blame.
February 14, 2005 when that massive bomb killed Rafik Hariri in Lebanon, the voices went up in carefully coordinated unison: “Assad did it, the Syrians are to blame. The Syrian army must leave Lebanon now!”
Poor Assad was just as surprised as everyone else.
I knew immediately, that neither Syria nor Hezbollah had anything to do with Hariri’s killing.
They had absolutely nothing to gain from killing Hariri, and in so dramatic a fashion.
The crime was perpetrated by those who wanted the Syrian Army out of Lebanon and Hezbollah disarmed.
A UN Tribunal was even convened.
As soon as explosive evidence started to emerge that pointed elsewhere however, we started hearing less and less about it from the MSM.
They also opted for war against Hezbollah the following year, 2006.
Condeleeza Rice called it “birth pangs of a new Middle East”. But others have referred to it as the biggest military defeat ever delivered by a non-state actor to one of biggest, most equipped armies that you”ll find.
It was deja vu all over again in Ukraine on 17th of July 2014 when Flight MH17 was brought down. Before the debris from the wreckage hit the ground multiple heads on multiple shows were telling us multiple times how it was Putin that had done it. In the next couple of days there were multiple magazine covers like the Economist etc. that had Putin on the front photo shopped to look sinister.
What did Putin and the fighting men in Donbass have to gain by downing a civilian aircraft?
Aside from infamy, absolutely nothing?
Flash forward to Syria and ask yourself the question, each time you hear them yap about Assad and “barrel bombs” etc.
Who benefits ?
For sure, it’s not Assad. So why – like he pointed out in the interview- would he opt for a course of action that would in no way benefit him and his allies?
Each time you are tempted to believe the lies coming from the MSM, just remember that you are dealing with some of the same folks who masterminded the biggest false flag in history – to date.
“By deception they continue to do War”!!!!
” By deception they continue to do War!!!! ”
…they have to. They have no other choice. The have burned all bridges behind them for centuries.
Jewish Central banking only works as a monopoly. If other players can set up a niche for a parallel system of finance the whole fraudulent house of cards collapses overnight.
Equally important as the banking monopoly is the media monopoly. Only when you control the whole information-sphere from entertainment to current news to science, philosophy and ‘religion’, are you then in a position to falsify reality to your heart’s content. And that is exactly what they have been doing – you guessed it – for centuries.
” the biggest false flag in history ”
That actually would make a great competition. “What was the the biggest false flag in history?”. The list would be miles long.
It probably would be much easier to ask: “Find a well-known historical event that didn’t involve false flags as a major ingredient, that wasn’t carefully scripted and orchestrated from beginning to end.”
And you know what? You won’t find a single one (in the Zionist hemisphere).
“By deception they continue to do War”
Exactly. I also agree there should be public war crimes trials for the zio-gay media and the zionazis, regime and private sector, involved in these wars, with very public mass hangings of the freaks right afterwards.
Russia and the Syrian Government are looking suddenly intensely and increasingly like the Evil Bad Guys according to news reports being broadcast to us in the west. Very little from the Russian or Assad view of life gets thru here.
THE MSM has lost all credibility with a large part of the population, which now no longer watches their propaganda.
Has Lavrov gone home yet??????
Time to break off diplomatic relations France , uk and the other usual suspects, denounce UN..clearly the Syrian Ambassador feels they are useless..?

report for Sept 25th
“Syria’s return to the world has become an almost impossible task, said Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Vitaly Churkin, speaking at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on Syria.
He said that the West continues to supply weapons fighters, but for some reason, everyone is waiting for excuses from Russia. According to Vitaly Churkin, on the territory of Syria, there are hundreds of armed groups to bomb all and sundry. In these circumstances a return to peaceful life becomes virtually impossible task.
The diplomat stressed that Russia is not going to someone to prove something unilaterally, it expects serious steps to separate from the Syrian opposition fighters. . The truce, in his opinion, is possible only on a collective basis
This West continues to supply the terrorists in Aleppo heavy weapons – tanks, armored vehicles, field artillery guns, multiple launch rocket systems. Vitaly Churkin directly and openly accused the “Western sponsors terrorists” with the connivance of the United States, which led the coalition.
The number of settlements that have joined the reconciliation process has increased to 665. The number of armed groups that have declared their commitment to the terms of a cessation of hostilities, remained unchanged – 69.
Over the 21 days recorded violation of the cessation of hostilities by illegal armed groups in provinces of Aleppo (9), Damascus (7), Hama (3), Latakia (1) and Daraa (1).
The Russian VKS and Air Force Syria opposition armed groups, have declared a cessation of hostilities and to report to the Russian or American information reconciliation centers its location, the blows are not applied.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon appealed to all those who have influence in Syria, “put an end to a nightmare” in the country , “Novosti” RIA.

All they include dozens of women and children “, – he said. De Mistura said that the UN “is not possible to independently verify” this information.
De Mistura said that 275 thousand. Residents of eastern Aleppo are in actual blockade for several weeks. “They can not all be terrorists,” – said the emissary.
He called on the Security Council to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure, ensure the introduction of a weekly 48-hour humanitarian pause in the fighting, and the operations to evacuate the sick and wounded.

On the other hand continue to hamper militants Aleppo residents to leave the city, using them as human shields. We condemn the statements of some representatives of the UN, we are using prohibited weapons or to aim strikes against civilians. Ignore the facts, including the use of prohibited weapons by militants “- Jaafari said. According to him, the militants used phosphorous shells and blame the Syrian army.
Action groups “Ahrar al-Sham” preparing attacks with the use of toxic substances, and then want to charge them the Syrian army. The statement was made at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council’s permanent representative to the country, Bashar Jaafari. “I have information that terrorist groups” Ahrar al-Sham “intend to carry out attacks against the civilian population with the use of white phosphorus in order to fabricate charges against the Syrian government and its army,” – said the diplomat. To this end, he added, for the extremists to plan, they will change clothes in the form of armed Syrian forces and document everything on video.
In addition, as stated by Jaafari, US experts visited the store terrorists with toxic substances, located near Sarakib Idlib province, then left Syrian territory via Turkey.

The United States will by all means to achieve the restoration of the cease-fire in Syria, but they believe that the main role in this is to play Russia, said US Ambassador to the UN Samantha Power.
According to her, the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Syria is impossible, “if Russia is committed to the continuation of war. ” She claimed that in the last week the United States participated in two ministerial meetings on Syria, although the Russian side, “say one thing and do another”, reports TASS. “Even now we will look for any possible way to ensure that the ceasefire”, – said Power.
Moscow and Tehran are at risk of being complicit in war crimes in Aleppo, if they do not change their strategy on Syria, said French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault.
“The regime of Bashar al-Assad clearly opted for military escalation, despite the fact that everyone knows that in Syria can only be a political solution to the conflict “, – said in the French Foreign Ministry statement, Minister.
” I therefore call on his supporters, Russia and Iran, pull yourself together and show responsibility to put an end to this strategy, which is a dead end Otherwise Russia. and Iran will be involved in war crimes committed in Aleppo “, – stated in the document, released on the eve of the UN Security Council meeting on the situation in the Syrian Aleppo.
US Permanent Representative to the UN Samantha Power accused Moscow and Damascus in a “full-scale offensive operation” in the east of Aleppo. “Russia and Assad launched more than 150 bombs from the air over the past 72 hours killed at least 139 people, injured hundreds.” – Said it during a UN Security Council meeting on the situation in Aleppo. According to her, “what makes Russia – this barbaric action, it is not a fight with the terrorists.”
The Russian Foreign Ministry commented on the call number of Western countries to the Russian Federation to show commitment to the peaceful settlement of the situation in Syria.
“I remember the beginning of the 2000s, then from Russia was required to prove that it is on the right side of history and join the anti-Iraq campaign.” – Said to “Interfax” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova. “Those of us require some evidence, must first prove that they are not the aggressors against the region because while history proves the opposite.” – She said, commenting on the appeal of some Western countries to the Russian Federation to show commitment to a peaceful solution to the Syria.

The statement published on the website of the Turkish Ministry. “We strongly condemn the increased air attacks in the past few days by the regime in Syria and its supporters in and around Aleppo, which killed more than 300 people and injured thousands of civilians”, – said in a statement.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said that Assad regime, “ruthlessly destroying” their own people, its goals are including hospitals, water pumping stations and centers to respond to emergencies that perform only humanitarian functions. Office emphasized that such actions demonstrate that the Syrian authorities and their supporters do not have any intention to carry out a political transition in Syria, necessary to resolve the conflict in the country.
“These actions are not only war crimes, but they also constitute a serious crime against humanity and a gross violation of international humanitarian law “, – said the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
More than 30 opposition groups, led by the Free Syrian Army announced its withdrawal from the peace talks, BBC reports with reference to the corresponding statement of the Syrian opposition.

Turkey is clearly being directed by NATO – at least as far as it’s public statements go.
It has a dillemna on its hands though – US is keen – and Israel – on a Kurdish ‘canton.’
Which will lie on Turkey’s South and continually pose a threat of ‘union’ with Turkish Kurds.
And though Barzani is a corrupt and controllable crook, he is far from being in control of Kurdish aspirations.
Erdogan woujd be wise to work with the Syrian gov who can draw a lot of the Syrian Kurds to the ‘national’ tent – Kurds disenchanted with ethnofascist policies and who identify as Syrian, as well as Kurdish.
Their numbers appear to be growing, as they recognize the duplicity and illegitimacy of the ‘divide znd conquer’ tactics of erstwhile ‘allies’ like the US and Israel.
Remember the time when the Syrian Ambassador in the UNSC meeting directly accused the US,UK,France,Saudi Arabia,Qatar, and Turkey of committing war crimes.By sponsoring and arming terrorists to attack his country. And accused them of breaking the UN charter by aggression against Syria. While demanding they cease at once their illegal actions. And remember the time the Russian Ambassador in the UNSC called on those same countries by name to cease sponsoring terrorism. And end their aggression and war crimes against Syria. Wait, you don’t remember that? No,neither do I. I see them setting on their backsides while the criminal, war crime abetting ,terrorist sponsoring, aggression committing countries, stand up and accuse them of those same crimes. And that is the bottom line as to why nothing positive comes out of the UN.You do not, meekly listen to criminal regimes push the blame for “their” crimes on to you. And expect anything good to come from that. They need to change that ,and do it today.Saying things like “some UN member states, blah, blah, blah,do this or do that, isn’t good enough. The criminal regimes have no problem whatsoever with directly naming Syria and Russia as criminals. While the Syrians and Russians seem to have forgotten the “actual” names of the criminal states committing those crimes. If they need to email “me”.I’d be more than happy to give them the names so they can “finally” utter them to the World.
@ Uncle Bob
Well put UB. In a court of law if you don’t defend yourself with all available means and show the guilt is elsewhere, there is a presumption that you are guilty. Not that you are guilty beyond reasonable doubt, but you have the onus of proof against that presumption.
In the court of public perceptions (UN) Russia has been pilloried beyond belief and projects the image of an accused who has not discharged the onus against the presumption of guilt.
I totally agree, it is really hard to understand why Russia and Syria sit in the UN with their heads bowed while the shrill Samantha Power spouts her shameful verbal diarrhea. The Russia rebuttal needs to be clear and leave no misunderstanding of the very bloody experiment the western alliance has inflected upon the Syrian people. Preferably they should speak in English so that the western public get to hear them directly.
Perhaps Putin needs to send Maria Zakharova to the UN. She seems to be the only one that can say more than a squeak.
China has a plan B?
Beijing is concerned over the escalation of tensions in Syria and urges all parties to the conflict to relaunch peace talks, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said Monday.
BEIJING (Sputnik) — All sides should comply with the previously adopted UN Security Council resolutions on Syria, including resolution 2254 which provided a roadmap for the Syrian peace process, he added. “China is concerned about the escalation of the conflict…The cessation of hostilities is a key point for a political solution in Syria and also an important guarantee for improving the humanitarian situation and efficient fight against terrorism. We urge all sides to establish favorable conditions for ceasefire, relaunch peace talks and deliver humanitarian assistance,” he said at a briefing.

I’m sure China is very concerned about the fighting in Syria. And very concerned about the demonization of their closest ally, Russia, by the US.
For those reasons and many others China launched its second space station on Sept 15. They had told the space community that Tiangong 1 was falling out of orbit and would crash into the earth some time in 2017. But that begs the question: why wouldn’t the Chinese just nudge it into a higher orbit?
If they can do that then they will have Tiangong1 and Tiangong2 circling the earth, full of fruit fly and bean sprout experiments. Or full of hypersonic missiles.
When you own the space station outright. When it’s not a time share. You get to pick the cargo to twirl around with.

Syria and Ukraine are the most significant areas where the AngloZionist Fascists are hell bent on creating maximum chaos and destruction.
I could find outpouring of frustration bordering on ridicule with so many posts from of our blogger friends in this website as well as other renowned websites. Many of them questioned the wisdom of Putin-Lavrov duo in trying to seek diplomatic means to resolve the essentially ‘manufactured’ chaos in the society and land of Syria and Ukraine.
Yes, it is painful to see how the AZ fascist criminal thugs are using UN platform to identify countries like Russia and Iran as criminal countries. But, the peoples across world should whole-heartedly support the approach taken by Putin-Lavrov duo – parallel tracks of diplomatic engagement and military muscle flexing. How come Eurasian Resistance group members not explore the peaceful diplomatic means and only speak the language of war?
If the Hegemon is shameless satan who mobilize the hyper-active MSM armies globally and Wahabi terrorist army locally (it is beyond any doubt that, army of Salafist rats created-funded-owned-armed by USA+Rest of 5 Eyes+Israel+France+Saudi+Turkey will continue to destabilize the Russian and Chinese borders for next 10 years), should Russia, China, and Iran also behave in that fashion to speak only the language of force ? …. No.
What we see today is the warming-up session of WW III. The leadership of Russia, China, and Iran should coordinate every step (diplomatic-economic-political-military), explore every option (even remote possibility), pool their resources and put their acts together. It may be a disaster for the humanity to either take quick bold decisions impatiently (sometime based on inputs from so-called ‘6th column’) or become too cautious to take any action.
In all probability, Russia-China-Iran will have to fight continuously for another 10 years or so across multiple theatres in west Asia, north Africa, east Europe, south-east Asia, east Asia. It is time for all-round preparation for ‘hot’ war (in which, controlling orbit / space will be crucial), and be prepared for, God forbid nuclear and biological warfare.
The US is worried about ISIS jihadis, doesn’t want them investugated or punished:

Anon on Sep 26 1:52 pm UTC,
US is worried, if ISIS guys are to stand for trial on the grounds of war crimes, US leaders and bureaucrats will get dragged in the trial – USA, Israel, Saudi, Turkey are the actual terrorists.
Well, I have to disagree with this: But, the peoples across world should whole-heartedly support the approach taken by Putin-Lavrov duo – parallel tracks of diplomatic engagement and military muscle flexing.
I for one wholehearted support the Russian-Syrian effort. But it it possible to voice constructive critique. I agree with Paul Craig Roberts’ assessment. The cease fires were a misjudgement of the West and not favorable in any sense. The worst tactical error was when the Russians withdrew and even sent planes back home last spring. It just gave the enemy all the time and breathing space it needed and accomplished absolutely nothing in relation to the US “partners.” Russia’s hesitations and repeated attempts to create trust will cost her dearly.
Anon on September 2 at 9:20 pm UTC,
I don’t agree with PCR’s views.
Whatever Syrian military, Hezbollah, IRGC, Russian military may do, the ground reality of Syrian (and Iraqi) quagmire is not going to change – the northern region of Syria and Iraq has Kurdish majority. Similarly, adjacent regions of east Syria and west Iraq are almost completely Sunni populated space. Without a political solution (through diplomacy and limited war), even if Syrian government thinks and Russia-Iran agree to ‘settle the issue through war’ the issue will continue because there are so many neighbouring countries (Israel, Turkey, Saudi) who are playing geopolitical game on behalf of Uncle Sam…
Syria-Iran-Russia leadership should put to practice what Russia has been doing for last one decade (for the erstwhile USSR regions) – ‘frozen conflict’.
(a) Syrian government should pull out from northern region of Kurdish majority (let Kurds and Turkish army fight)
(b) Syrian government should not move into eastern region adjacent to west Iraq (let ISIS and other Salafists fight with Kurds)
(c) Syrian government should not move into Golan region adjacent to Israel (and restrict Hezbollah from fighting with Zionist army)
(d) Syria-Iran-Russia forces should target Aleppo and adjacent area to be completely under control of government forces as soon as possible.
(e) Syrian government should re-establish governance and set the ball rolling for economic resurgence in all other areas as well as re-equip and re-train its forces.
Many commenters will view this as my support for de-facto partitioning of Syria – not really. At no point of time Syrian government will sign any agreement like that. The war will enter next stage in may be, another 2 years time – that will provide opportunity for Syrian government to re-establish rule of law over entire territory.
Damascus Has Audio of Daesh Talks With US Military Before Strike on Syrian Army
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20160926/1045706456/us-airstrike-daesh-army.html

What did those officers do?
Experts! Experts for the use of satellites, missiles, reconnaissance work, thermal surveillance cameras …

NATO Ammunition and ‘Guns of Hell’: Rare Glimpse of Handarat Camp in Aleppo
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20160926/1045710077/handarat-camp-aleppo.html
“The camp has been under the control of armed groups supported by the United States and Turkey, as well as the terrorists of al-Nusra Front, for more than two years.
The camp gained its notoriety in late July when three Nureddin al-Zenki militants executed an 11-year-old boy. He was accused of reporting terrorist locations in Handarat to government troops. The boy, Abdullah Issa, was the son of an al-Quds militia fighters. US officials said that the execution was an isolated event and that it should not be used to characterize this group as terrorists.
Some of the more interesting things which were found were guns the locals called “guns of hell,” 3-5 meter artillery tubes each weighing over 40 kilograms and all labeled in Turkish.
“You have correctly noticed these cylinders are of Turkish production. We do not make these here and yes, these are the exact ones that fall on the residential neighborhoods in Aleppo,” Hamada told the RIA correspondent.
Additionally, other weapons were found, such as 81-mm mortar shells used by NATO, and judging by the markings, made in the US.
he US government, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and a number of other Western countries continue to call the armed groups of Ahrar ash-Sham, Nureddin al-Zenki, Jaish al-Fatah as moderate opposition, despite the fact, that they and dozens of other smaller groups are now fighting under the command of al-Nusra Front.
However, the Syrian Army’s success did not last long. In the morning, the commander of the Liwa al-Quds brigade reported that the Palestinian militia fighters had to leave most of the camp after radical forces launched a counterattack. The rebels had subsequently regained control.
“At night, terrorists attacked simultaneously from three sides after preliminary heavy mortar fire. We had to retreat from most areas of the camp,” the representative told RIA Novosti.”
And no doubt the terrorist counterattack was under direction of pindo special forces.
Israel Searching for New Allies Despite Record Military Aid Package From US

The parasite is seeking to expand and deepen the extent of its infection. With the usa losing its clout as the planet becomes multipolar, this is to be expected if zionazi, inc. is to maintain its stranglehold on humankind.
RE: the article in 2:20
The article is zionist american sourced and is the sort of mindless obfuscatory toss such sources mass produce. I did not want people to think I endorsed the piece, I posted it to highlight the fact israel is expanding its influence army. My original disclaimer either got accidentally edited out when I wrote the comment or some overzealous mod censored it for some reason.
Your comment stood on its own; the disclaimer was not necessary and detracted from it. You do not need to tell us that something is useless because of source, why not let the others determine that for themselves without you telling us what to think? Sometimes in controlled media output there are “nuggets of truth.”
Americans Are on Our Side’: Al-Nusra Front Allegedly Receiving Weapons From US
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20160926/1045713159/us-nusra-tow-missiles.html
“The missiles were handed over directly to us. Americans are on our side,” the media outlet quoted the militant commander as saying. The remarks came in response to Jürgen Todenhöfer’s question whether any intermediaries, including the US-backed Free Syrian Army, were involved in the weapons transfers.
Al-Nusra Front was founded as al-Qaeda’s offshoot in Syria, but has recently cut ties with the global terrorist network, changing its name to Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (the Front for the Conquest of the Levant). Experts have said that the rebranding has not affected the group’s goals or the means of achieving them.
Interestingly, the al-Nusra Front commander also mentioned the UN aid convoy. Keep in mind that Todenhöfer, the first Western journalist to be granted access to Daesh’s caliphate, conducted the interview ten day ago, before the attack.
The commander said that the militants would not allow UN trucks carrying aid to enter Aleppo if the Syrian Arab Army does not withdraw “as required.”
“The regime must withdraw from all areas in order for us to let the trucks in. If a truck drives in anyway, we will arrest the driver,” he detailed.”
Good eye! I invite the readers to consider the cited article in terms of the video, posted here: /foreign-minister-lavrov-at-the-unsc-the-unga-and-subsequent-press-conference/, This information tends to confirm that SoS Kerry was lying.
“The Kremlin has criticised ‘unacceptable rhetoric’ from Britain and the United States after they accused Russia of being responsible for ‘war crimes’ in Syria.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today: ‘We note the overall unacceptable tone and rhetoric of the representatives of the United Kingdom and the United States, which can damage and harm our relations.’
Yesterday Britain’s ambassador at the UN, Matthew Rycroft, accused Russia and Syria of war crimes during a special meeting of the UN Security Council in New York to discuss the crisis in Aleppo. ”

So for that to be “fully” understood by all,Moscow would need to call the Ambassadors of those countries to the Foreign Ministry for a formal complaint.Saying this by just having the Press Secretary say it, “isn’t” good enough.I don’t think I can count the number of times EU countries have the Russian Ambassador “summoned” to whine over “nothing at all”.Which makes news headlines Worldwide. For something as serious as this, the summoning of Ambassadors is called for as a first, not last, step.
It’s hard to believe that the envoys from the UK and the US accused Russia and Syria of barbarism, when together over 70 years ago
“On the evening of February 13, 1945, a series of Allied firebombing raids begins against the German city of Dresden, reducing the “Florence of the Elbe” to rubble and flames, and killing as many as 135,000 people.”
So Ambassadors Powers and Rycroft demonstrate the high level of hypocrisy that is required to be a diplomat of those two nations.
Of course the US dropped atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, but Powers doesn’t see the number of women and children who got fried as barbaric.
And in the 19th century the English Army in India, to punish Indian mutineers, would tie them to the mouths of cannon and fire a 10 pound ball through their spine which would send the mutineers’ heads flying up in the air. A jolly good time was had by all, except for the Indian rebels.

And Ambassador Rycroft of England has the chutzpah to accuse anybody of Barbrism.
“On the evening of February 13, 1945, a series of Allied firebombing raids begins against the German city of Dresden, reducing the “Florence of the Elbe” to rubble and flames, and killing as many as 135,000 people.”
Indeed, and not forgetting the fire bombing of Hamburg and Tokyo as well as the two atomic bombs used against Japan. Area bombing – that is the deliberate bombing of civilians – was a strategy formulated by Sir Arthur (Bomber) Harris of RAF Bomber Command 1942-45. Thousands of RAF Lancaster Bombers raided Germany – up to 1000 at a time – on a nightly basis, and the USAF B17 and B29s commanded by Curtis Le May bombed Germany by day. It was a round-the-clock operation.
MOSCOW, September 26. /TASS/. A peace settlement in the current conditions is impossible and none of the achieved agreements works, experts said at a round-table discussion entitled Syria: For Restoring Truce and Resuming Talks.
“In Syria, an active phase of military operations is underway. None of the previously achieved agreements works,” said the representative of the Syrian movement For Peace Change, Salim Ali. “It is our hope Russia will not conclude more agreements with the United States, because they merely worsen the Syrian crisis. The current US Administration has discredited itself by the latest actions in Syria. Terrorists continue to receive armaments and attack more cities with renewed force.”
The president of the center for strategic studies Russia – the Islamic World Shamil Sultanov, said that the situation in Syria “is getting catastrophic and the conflict around Aleppo is going out of control.”
“Great powers are unable to influence that conflict any more, while the importance of regional countries is growing,” he said with certainty. “The military conflict is turning to a zero sum game. The current situation is a clear indication the estrangement is becoming confrontational.”

“The bombardment near Deir ez-Zor looks pretty much like a pre-planned operation by US armed forces,” said senior research fellow Konstantin Truyevtsev, of the Center for Arab and Islamic Research at the Russian Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Islamic Studies. “It looks like the US armed forces are not subordinate to President Barack Obama.” At the same time he drew attention to the fact that the bombardment was “a reaction to a certain success of the Syrian army in Aleppo, as well as an attempt to change the balance of force in the region.
“The United States has resorted to this tactic to make the allies, including Turkey, be more disciplined,” he added.

The mistrust between Washington and Moscow portends a long war.
Keep in mind that the #USA is not just watching in #Syria: somewhere an attack is under preparation to make sure war will continue.(false flag in sight)

a major concern of Putins when going to ssist Syria was the 5000 or so russian members of ISIS-Daesh getting military experience, building upon this, recruiting more, then being used by their masters against russia……….Norway is a bit perplexed about only 150 Norwegian ISIS fighters realising life is not the western way in Syria and perhaps wishing, or willing to return home radicalised.
What you did in Iraq & Libya is the real barbarism – Russian FM spox rebukes US envoy to UN
https://www.rt.com/news/360662-zakharova-power-barbarism-spat/
“The use of the term ‘barbarism’ by the American envoy drew sarcastic remarks from Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.
“Historically speaking… a barbarian is someone not belonging to an empire, and we have only one of those today,” she noted on her Facebook page.
“As for the imagery… the world has seen nothing more barbaric in modern history than Iraq and Libya done the Washington way.”
Zakharova believes that Power’s remarks were meant to draw attention from the American attack on Syrian troops near Deir ez-Zor, which happened amid the ceasefire and almost resulted in the Syrian Army’s positions being overrun by the terrorist group Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL), which the US is supposedly seeking to eradicate.”
Trump Becoming New US President Is ‘the Only Way to End War in Syria’
https://sputniknews.com/politics/20160926/1045721328/trump-end-wa-syria.html
“I believe that the US know exactly what they were doing when they hit the Syrian troops,” Madsen said. “When they talk about moderate Syrian rebels, that’s a joke. There are no moderate Syrian rebels, There may be a few leaders who profess moderation but they are sitting safely in five-star hotels in Istanbul and Ankara,” he added.
“I think if Ms. Clinton is elected, she is going to increase pressure on the Assad government, and Russia. We are going to see an increase in violence in Syria. If Trump wins, he, obviously, said that he is not interested in getting involved in this nation-building, these activities. And I think he would withdraw the US troops and also put pressure on the Turks and other parties, including NATO countries and Israel, to stay out of Syria. And I think this is the only way we are going to see the end to the Syrian civil war.”
I’m generally not a fan of Madsen, but agree with him the american attack on the SAA was planned and not rogue, and the pindo dip is schoolyard dramatics and unbelievably unprofessional. I hope his take on trump about Syria is correct, since I think barring some zionazi stunt or massive electorial fraud, trump should win.
Meanwhile, from the sound of this, Israel’s pindo pets are now openly threatening war.
Obama Reviewing ‘All Available Options’ on Aleppo Situation – White House
https://sputniknews.com/politics/20160926/1045722869/obama-aleppo-options-earnest.html
“US President Barack Obama is reviewing all available options for the US response to the situation in the Syrian city of Aleppo, White House spokesperson Josh Earnest said at a press briefing on Monday.
“The President is continuing to get advice from his national security team, including the military leaders at the Department of Defense, reviewing all of the available options,” Earnest told reporters.”
The zionazis continue to ramp up the pressure before the american election.
The Russian strategy, from what I am able to discern is very wide, and encompasses diverse fronts. Though our Western GovCorps whine incessantly, this embarrasses us, as it is well known that NATO prefers its victims effectively, with their hands tied behind their backs, and if it is okay to attack Russia and its interests in every conceivable way then surely it is to be expected that Russia will reciprocate, minus the abominations of Gas and Chemical/Bio attacks and the genocide of civilians. And this while Russia struggles under sanctions as well as rebuilding following the mass theft and looting following the era of Boris Yeltsin. So then Russia must be formidably competent and attend properly to details. I have watched the explosion on the convoy many times and am unable to recognise the source. It does look like an air attack, but the single explosion vid released is most odd.
My own view is that Syria should declare a no fly zone except for planes authorised by the Syrian government, Backed up by Russian S400 air defences. That this should be declared to the despicable UN in order to reduce both civilian casualties as well as terrorist resupply.
Agreed, Harry! That is exactly what the Syrians should do and should have done the minute the Russians came in to help them.
“No fly zone”
Last week the US Senate asked their top General the same thing, “Can we implement a no fly against the Syrians and Russians” The answer by the general was, “that would mean war with Russia”. John McCain knowing everything argued the point but it was left there.
So if either side implements a no fly zone it means war and no one knows where that will end.
What I think is the likely next step for the US is to send in cruise missiles and take out only the Syrian airforce. The rhetoric from the UN is such that I think they could get away with that. Public opinion is swinging back in the Western Alliance favor. It is why I am so disappointed at the soft display by the Russians at the UN.
