First check this out:
I would just add that to think that the Russian winter can prevent the Russian military from fighting is simply breathtakingly stupid. However, since The Telegraph can post such nonsense, this goes to show that the general public in the West has also been stupidified beyond rescue and can be fed any bullcrap without batting an eye.
While the leaders of the (already dead) Empire are consulting meteorologists (or even astrologists?), they are completely missing the basic reality of modern warfare. These seem to be especially unaware of three basic facts:
- Modern warfare is primarily conducted with long range, standoff, weapons and this makes maneuver by fire far more important than maneuver by forces.
- Modern warfare places a huge importance on integrated air defenses working together under automated battle management systems. Modern air defense missiles can shoot down targets several hundred of kilometers away. No western air defense system can stop hypersonic weapons.
- Modern warfare is primarily non-linear, that is to say that it is more like soccer than like US football: each player (say a battalion tactical group) “follows/opposes” another player rather than trying to hold a line and defend territory.
Those who think that Putin is preparing a WWII style attack simply don’t understand modern warfare at all.
I want to conclude with two small notes:
Strategic vs operational/tactical mobility
The US can very quickly deploy a military force pretty much anywhere on the planet where modern air defenses are absent. This means that in terms of strategic mobility, the USA remains the leader in the deployment of a light force very far away from home.
Russian mobile forces are much much heavier than their US counterparts. A Russian Airborne Division is fully mechanized, and comes with its own artillery, armor, EW, etc.. This weight makes it impossible for the Russians to use, say, IL-76s or An-124s to deploy such an Airborne Division (or brigade or even battalion) somewhere in faraway Africa or Latin America. However, by this sacrifice of strategy mobility Russia achieves a operational/tactical mobility which US/NATO countries can only dream of. Simply put, Russia does not have the means to deploy a full infantry battalion somewhere in distant Paraguay, but she does have the means to transport a major Airborne Force (up to several divisions) anywhere inside Russia (this especially applies to forces designated as the “reserve of the commander in chief”) or, very roughly, within about 1000km from the Russian border. Once landed, that force will not only have a firepower mobile western forces can’t even begin to hope to acquire one day, they can also quickly relocate being, as I mentioned, totally mechanized (the move of the Rusbat from Bosnia to Pristina is a good illustration of this type of capability).
All of the above is to show how utterly stupid all the discussions about Russian forces being 100, 200 or even 400km away from the Ukie border. If needed, Russia could easily move a very large force (again, fully mechanized) to the Ukie border or even into the Nazi-controlled Ukraine. I do NOT believe that they have such plans (as Russia has much better options) but Russia definitely has the possibility to very quickly augment the 100k soldiers allegedly currently within 400km of the Ukie border.
Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, etc.
I hear a lot of speculations about Russian missiles (or forces) being deployed “Cuban Missile Crisis” -style to either Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua or other friendly nations in Latin America. I would never say never (Putin loves to surprise), but in my opinion other than a reopening of the Russian intel basis in Lourdes, Russia will not actually deploy missiles in any of those countries. There are a couple of reasons for that:
- Russia has no need to move her missiles anywhere because she now has the means to strike at the entire continental United States with a wide array of long range standoff weapons.
- These countries are all unstable to some degree, and the issue of protecting advanced Russian weapons systems (or forces) from possible political turmoil is a headache nobody in Russia needs.
- Deploying weapon systems of forces in a sovereign country require close consultations and negotiations with the host country (including a so-called SOFA). Why go through these headaches when Russians can act unilaterally without consulting with anybody?
Finally, not only can Russia threaten the continental United States without involving any third country, Russia can threaten US interests where they are the most vulnerable: abroad (especially in CENTCOM and in Far East Asia and Pacific region). Personally, I very much hope to see some truly major Russian weapon systems deliveries to both Iran and China. That being said, assisting Latin American countries like Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Chile or any other country struggling for its sovereignty would be a very good idea. Cuba would especially benefit from modern Russian air defenses and EW capabilities.
For the time being, let’s hear more about “sanctions from hell” and even “personal sanctions against Putin” or how the Russian tanks cannot deal with snow (or mud) in the exact same location where the USSR defeated the united Europe under Hitler in WWII or, before that, the united Europe under Napoleon.
Frankly, it appears to me that the 3B+PU crazies have totally taken over the Empire, and history shows how well that ends every time these “geniuses” and “hyenas” get involved in international politics.
And, finally, I really hope that Russia manages to finally protect the LDNR from the Ukronazis but WITHOUT any direct military intervention in the Ukraine (I have no problems with deniable, indirect, efforts to assist the LDNR). Such a non-invasion would be the ultimate AngloZionist nightmare and I sure hope they get it!
Andrei
One way you know that the West is stupid is how easily they fell into the trap in Kazakhstan.
I know that Ukraine is closer to Moscow than Latvia, and Latvia is a Nato member, but the difference is not alot.
I think it is a big mistake if Russia invaded Ukraine, I do prefer diplomacy, sanctions is a much better option.
If Ukraine wont stop condeming its own people and prostitute itself to nato, then I would suggest putting sanctions on them.
Cut of the gas already, make Germany, France, UK pay Russia with rubles for the gas, instead of dollars.
Russia can do so much.
Alot of support for LDNR, truly federalise that area.
Stupid….or Evil?
Perhaps Psychopathic Serial Killers run US Foreign Policy?
John Bolton certainly fits this description….Bill and Hillary Clinton, two psychopathic rapists who raped teenage Slavic girls on Jeffrey Epstien’s rape dungeon in the Caribbean…
I hope I don’t get banned from Saker – but I would like to add another dimension to this excellent and wonderful site and its contributors. I’m talking about Psychological warfare. There is a reason to know and understand our enemy. In my view and the view of some like Brandon Smith we are dealing with a bunch of not only stupids by a well organised narcissists, psychopaths, sociopaths (narcissism and sociopathy are not traditional “mental illnesses,” but ingrained character traits) that has to be eradicated from this world. They use a False Sense Of Superiority – Self-Aggrandizement, they use manipulation and coercion, they Lack Of Empathy For Others (and speak beautifully about how they care for us – common citizens – and protect us), they are Psychologically Broken Non-Humans (in psychologically terms), they don’t have conscience as we know it (the ability to differentiate good from evil). They are behind numerous wars, economic collapses and tyrannies over the years. And they are our true enemy. When I look and hear Biden, Blinken, Stoltenberg etc. all these in position of power, they fit exactly this description.
We have to know this evil before defeat them, for ever. And this will happen soon or later. I think their demise has begun, they are self -destructive and just this trait will be theirs end.
Perhaps it sounds conspiracy theory, but what this can help us/you/or the saker in the analysis of the current situation is something you would understand by reading the following two articles..
I hope it helps

Satan is the type of man of consummate dissimulation, unimaginable meanness, confined reality, sneering nature, and stupefied shamelessness. He depends on anonymity, that is, on not being recognised! It is difficult to recognise him because he is an individual figure only in religion, whereas in reality he is a member of a group. The unrecognised Satan is a frightening, terrible, all-crushing power; the unmasked Satan, on the other hand, is a figure of fun that arouses pity or disgust.
The characteristics of Satan:
– Intervening in other people’s lives and falseness.
– he appears in the name of good
– he is always with other people, but not by recognising and respecting their being, but as an object of his will
– the principle of his activity is division, arbitrariness, contradictions, lies, and destruction.
Brilliant. (I’m not Christian, Muslim or Jew.) The devil or Satan, since both mean “adversary”, “enemy”, “accuser” in a Bible dictionary, took perfect pictures of himself on 911, and is now forever exposed. Yes, sir. For example, “Women at Ground Zero” is a 2002 well-published book. The authors-editors placed the most shocking testimony as the first story, made by a New York City police officer who said she saw half of the plane sticking out of the building. Let’s blame Satan because the plane comes at more than 400 miles per hour and it can’t happen so otherwise. I quote this part of it from page 4 and invite the judgment of the reader:
“…We ran up the road, and as I looked up, I saw the first plane half in, half out of the North Tower. I only saw the back end of the plane, the tail end of it. The nose was buried in the building. I thought I was in a dream. There was debris everywhere. I grabbed my radio and confirmed, ‘A plane has hit the world trade center.'”
It’s called “Political Ponerology.” Ponerology being the study of evil, PP is an interdisciplinary study of social issues primarily associated with Polish psychiatrist Andrzej Łobaczewski.
Amazing book but hard for me to read. Too little research on this topic. As more and more psychopaths fill positions of power fewer papers produced on this vital topic. If the tide were to turn how to deal with their absolute need to lead and our naivete mistake of allowing it? My take incurable, reliably detain or off em’.
Read Jefferey Epstein financed much research into children, seriously. Whether is was guilty conscious or gain of function, never read far enough to know.
Don’t underestimate your enemy! I doubt that they are stupid (I am not talking about politicians, they are only talking heads with no clues, but the guys who tell them what to do). They did a good job to transform the Western societies into masses that can easily be manipulated (PC, Wokeness, Russiaphobia…), there is some clear cut intention behind it, even if it is evil.
They don’t plan to attack Russia (its suicide!) but they will continue to paint it as a modern day “Emanuel Goldstein” and keep their populations in a constant state of panic and hysteria.
USA/ The West are clever but not intelligent. Big difference.
also, the West is always thinking short-term, immediate expediency, tactics.
also, they don’t know history, nevermind learning from it.
but yes, they have the “qualities” of all narcissists: cunning, arrogance, self-worship, charisma, etc.
this does not allow to get anything serious done, but it allows you to con those inclined to be conned in the first place.

What percentage of the plethora of mediocre US Generals have read Sun Tzu – Know Thine Enemy?
Invading countries with thousands of years of customs, hundreds of sects/tribes, to instil your version of Democracy shows a level of naivety beyond belief and doing so with an open ended budget of a $750 Billion, frightening.
US announces that it definitely will admit ukraine and georgia into NATO
Plus, when Robert MacNamara was moved from Ford to the DoD to lead the US preparations in WW2, it was relatively easy to convert assembly lines from cars and tractors to fighter planes and tanks.
Now most of the work is done by single purpose robots.
I am not looking forward to they day when they decide to live test whose missile tech is better. But living in a city with a large ex-pat Chinese and Russian population might help ;-)
There was no DOD in WWII (more like a Department of War) and McNamara was too young to have led any agency in WWII. The first sentence makes little sense. Vietnam, maybe? But by then, US was not converting tractors to tanks.
On one side of the Atlantic in 1939, Robert McNamara was celebrating his Harvard MBA graduation by backpacking around Europe when Hitler invaded Poland. He stopped at a train station in Berlin and asked for a ticket to Italy. “Don’t you know there’s a war on?” he was asked. He didn’t. He would later joke that a future Secretary of Defense was in the middle of the enemy’s capitol at the start of the greatest war of the 20th century without even knowing it!
He was one of the whiz kids who worked at Ford in 1946. Then Viet Name where they tried to apply whiz kids ‘metrics’ by allocating resources, like bombing a clearing for weeks after the “enemy” had left. There is a great book McNamara’s Folly that highlights how they specifically targeted low IQ Americans (no shortage of those, I think there were a half million troops deployed at one point … my father, case in point, was there on RnR, Saigon, when TET happened. He sent home great photos of sitting around in skivvies on a balcony with a bottle of bourbon and the sky full of tracer rounds and rocket trails …) to serve in combat. People that had room temperature IQs and didn’t know which boot to put on which foot (mis)handling weapons. The US still uses the unsuccessful metrics, i.e. cash money now, method of losing hearts and minds. Not that it does anyone any good, but Big Mac was sorry about Viet Nam later.
Not all of the “low IQ” troops that served in Vietnam had to be bullshitted into to serving, though many bought the story hook, line, and sinker. Most were drafted into service. Those trying to avoid that fate joined the National Guard or reserves (which became near impossible by the mid-60’s) or joined another branch such as the Air Force or Navy as I did.
I had no desire to be in the military and smelled the BS behind the war it early on, in part from stories told to me by my father and uncles of WWII. Plus, at a tender age I had several friends die there.
For what its worth.
F*** war.
Yet neither British nor US could produce a tank as effective as the T-34.
I asked a team of about fifty software developers, who is right? Russia or the Americans. Came in 49:1 . Considering we’re in England it would appear my world is firmly with VVP
Wait, are you saying that 49 out of 50 software developers in a company located in the UK side with Russia?!
Did I misunderstand you?
If not
Can you offer an explanation?
Thanks
Yes, I asked myself the same question.
My – somewhat optimistic – guess:
People do have a more or less well functioning “inner compass” for “right and justice”.
But they don’t like to “lose” and they don’t like to be ” not right” either.
It is therefore difficult to admit that one is on the wrong side of the front, especially since there is nothing one can do about it except emigrate, which is not possible for everyone.
Therefore, to avoid mental dissonance, one swallows official “truths” and makes them one’s own, which only exacerbates the problem.
In short – the official “opinion picture”, as it is determined by more or less independent opinion research, does not have to represent the unofficial – “true inner” – accurately …
Nationalism, for example, with regard to the “immutability of history” is, in my opinion, often the avoidance of the admission, earlier wrong decisions….or own unsuccessfulness…
For example:
https://www.fondsk.ru/news/2022/01/14/polovina-zhitelej-ukrainy-schitaet-sebja-russkimi-s-kem-voevat-55314.html
“Половина жителей Украины считает себя русскими, с кем воевать?”
(Half of the inhabitants of Ukraine consider themselves Russians, with whom to fight?)
I am not surprised. That’s 2% support among extremely well informed niche. Empire’s shenanigans has (estimated) 5% supporters from that we PERCEIVE. Just count number of participants of recent color revolutions attempts.
West firmly controls narrative via modern PR tools. Compare it to old-school marketing methods (print, TV, speeches), that yields in single digit percents of targeted groups. Social Network influence is reaching over 90% on certain targets. No one, ever, expected such almost hypnotic effects. (I am talking about techniques deployed in first Obama campaign, improved during Brexit, and anti Trump campaign. Also used in every Color Revolution.) Properly instigated, target- group response and motivation are 100%. By the time that unsuspecting majority wakes up, all is finished. Or worse, damaged beyond repair.
Communists took power with the same rush tactic, compensating lack of modern means of communication by enormous amount of agitators, and extremely heavy hand approach. In Russian Empire, Communists, Marxists, was also foreign injected ideologies. Leaders was inserted too. Supporters was mainly young people who worked for meager daily wage and disillusioned intellectuals without perspective in existing system. The only difference is that Communists betrayed their creators, while today’s western stooges didn’t. (Likely, West learned from mistakes of the past, and improved it’s con-game.)
Still, over-zealotism in dealing with those who do not 101% share their beliefs is strikingly similar.
Color revolutions worked like charm, until someone reinvented brute force as counter strategy. By severing internet communication and mass arrests of first demonstrators on streets. Not allowing instigators to gain momentum. Surprisingly meager resistance is met, as Color revolutions rely on internet based Social Amplifier that has 10-20X gain. Compare it with ferociousness and casualties of revolutions in the past.
Damage for the system is contained, swept under the rug, alas, brute force doesn’t solve main problem, which is underlying rage against truly corrupt system. If nothing else is done afterwards, trouble will return, with the vengeance.
Hmm, but wouldnt deployment of Russian assets to places like Nicaragua at least be a statement of ”how do you buggers like it?” intent?
The RF is inevitably going to get accused of Hiterite aggression regardless of what it does or doesn’t do.
I’m too young to have seen Cold War propaganda in a contemporary context. Still even as a child during the late Yeltsin/early Putin days I kinda recall everything from pop culture to ”serious” think-pieces vis-a-vis Russia.
Was geared towards inculcateing the Western audience, with the notion that Russians (mafia, commies, commie-nazis, nazi-nazis, whatever) were malevolent evil-,the-sake-of-it villains and the country itself was an evil empire on temporary hitus.
The uniformly of it all was/is downright creepy, and completely detached from any context let alone a reality.
Russian can help Nicaragua and other Latin American allies, but I don’t think that she should deploy her missiles there.
But then, I don’t have a vote, so who knows what will happen next?
:-)
Would it not be a suitable strategy for infowar purposes?
The missiles don’t need to be of any actual strategic value.
But by putting them in say, Cuba, it will ensure that:
– The hysterical US media report about it.
– The American public hears about it.
– This reignites the ‘Cuban Missile Crisis’ memories in the US public and they panic.
– This applies internal pressure on the US government organs.
– This public pressure forces the US government to reevaluate their stance and possibly move towards deescalation.
So if that helps, in negotiations , then it may be worth the cost and effort to Russia. This nostalgic reminder may help steer things towards a more positive outcome.
Unnecessarily puts cuban people at risk of death. Does Russia need to hide behind cubans? Remember we are dealing with psychopaths. Why put innocents at risk.
Good point. There are ways to jolt US media into frenzy much closer to borders of Russia. Every weapons system across the ocean is one less for Russian security.
Good point, but while the Cubans would be weary, and I doubt Russia would force them, I think Russia is more concerned about nuclear annihilation that it is worth it to try. It basically spells it out.
Please sign document that says
– No NATO and no missiles in Ukraine by USA
– No missiles or Russian forces in Cuba by Russia
The American public will understand that.
Nicaragua, Risk and Expense without sufficient reward. Similar to the situation in Ukraine. The people in LDR are the concern. The UkroNAZIs can die in a fire of their own making.
Daniel Ortega comes from a line of ultra wealthy Latin American rulers. “Sandinista” is just a mask he wears to fool the People.
Ortega’s family was middle class at best and were politically involved as long time opponents of the Somoza regime. He himself was arrested at age 15 and tortured while in jail. After further arrests and jail sentences he ended up in exile in Cuba where he underwent guerrilla training with the Cubans. He returned to Nicaragua in the late 70s and joined the armed resistance to the Somoza regime before aligning with the Sandinista movement.
Ortega may have evolved into a self-serving politician in his later years (it happens to many leaders, left & right) and he may very well deserve criticism but your blatant falsehoods about his background need to be called out.
You are wrong, Ortega is from lower middle class, and he joined the Sandinistas early. He was captured by Somoza’s National Guard around 1970, spent years in prison, but he together with other Sandinistas was liberated in one of their successful actions. Nicaragua is a very poor country, it cannot have any ultra wealthy people, and at t he same time achieve reducing illiteracy from more than 50% to less than 10%, which implies building schools, training teachers and providing electricity (at least half renewable) and many more benefits for the poorest people. Just read this from Strategic Culture:
https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2021/07/25/nicaraguas-sandinistas-battle-diabolical-u-s-empire-and-poverty-on-42-anniversary-of-revolution/

Soveiranty in Nicaragua was written in bold letters not with ink but with blood, throughout history
If China is going to build a replacement for the Panama Canal through Nicaragua, then it would logically fall to China to provide security for it, don’t you think?
When I first heard about the incessant US warnings to Russia not to invade Ukraine, I was very optimistic that this was feigned horror to prepare a concession to Russia. (We stopped the Russian elephants from invading Ukraine. And all we had to give up to save that poor country was …”)
But now that the meetings are over, it looks like the US army really was projecting its own military strategy and really did worry that Russia would invade — because that’s something that the US thought it could easily country (bomb the tanks, treat Russia like the Gulf War against Saddam under Bush Sr.)
I don’t think the US is going to respond enough to Russia within ten days of the end of this week’s conference to deter Russia from settling matters itself.
I’m waiting for the headline. “Nobody could have predicted …” It’s much like the junk-mortgage crisis of 2008. Maybe the Queen will ask, “Did no military intelligence department see this coming?”
It will be: ”The Ukraine was too big NOT to fail!”
The US cannot bomb Russian tanks because the latter are working under the umbrella of Russian air defenses.
Check out this article about this topic: https://smoothiex12.blogspot.com/2021/12/big-big-difference.html
Russia can turn most of the Ukraine into a anti-access and area denial (A2/AD) in which NATO aircraft cannot operate and western cruise missiles easily shot down.
Kind regards
I jut read that Russia has deployed fighter jets & bombers to Kaliningrad (Europe) , article shows pictures, Do you think this is true? here is link: https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/russia-deploys-fighter-jets-bombers-to-kaliningrad-europe
Do you think the trees are green in Kaliningrad in January?
It is doubly amusing that Hal did not even consider the context of winter when choosing the picture for his BS article. I had called him out in the comment section a couple years ago when he claimed Russia was moving 12,000 T-62 tanks to the Ukraine border region. It was not long after that comments were disabled on his website.
Apparently, not.
https://balticlivecam.com/cameras/russia/kaliningrad/cathedral/
It’s Hal Turner, of course it’s not true! He’s come out with enough wacko ideas in the past that I find it hard to believe anything he says. I treat it like a comedy show.
For example he said that Russia named the SS-18 missile “Satan”, which just shows how evil they are, etc. In fact, it was NATO’s designation for the missile, but that wouldn’t rile up his listeners. Riled up listeners = lots of donations.
Barents Observer reports that two NATO carrier groups are currently en route to waters off northern Norway, not far from Russia’s border, for the “the largest NATO exercise inside the Arctic Circle since the 1980s.”
Not yet , no carriers as yet going as this regular NATO exercise is scheduled for March /April. The Russian Navy knows https://tass.com/defense/1387843
Cold Response will be the biggest since the Cold War.
The only comment to make is that NATO /US is becoming more and more active in the Arctic since several years ago. The U.S had already sent a carrier into the High latitudes, probing, testing out their equipment farther and further, closer to Russia. This includes B1 flights. This was the overview in 2020 https://natsouth.livejournal.com/16160.html
So imagine now the numbers, locations of U.S flights, if it was already 200 flights since 2018. What it does show how restrained Russian response was, if you look at the infographic. It was very tame.
Nat South
Maritime commentator
Besides, US (not NATO) carrier groups have been rendered obsolete by Russian hypersonic missiles.
let them get as close as they want (they don’t even have modern icebreakers!).
Well, hopefully everything will still work … at minus 20 degrees (and less) …
The US interest for the arctic is not focused on Russia alone.
The arctic has been found rich in natural resources and rare earth minerals.
The slight change of the actual North Pole has made exploitation possible as the ice core receded in some areas. https://www.economist.com/international/2014/12/17/frozen-conflict
This has released a race to claim the resourced near the North Pole.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arctic_resources_race
However in 2016, both the US and Canada instituted a permanent ban against exploiting their part of the Arctic region, and the US is now on the lookout for another foothold into this basin.
Thus Trumps suggestion to buy Greenland.
US problem is not scarcity of oil, but their own exorbitant consumption. There is plenty of oil in the World, just no more cheap one. Cheap oil is depleted. No more. What’s left is deep under the sea, or in inaccessible regions, or requires convoluted tech to extract.
US got used to consume cheap oil like it’s ocean water. Huge military consumes energy. No energy – no military. Simple as that. And military was the main reason why US was able to get oil for free.
When someone raised grandchildren who never worked and payed anything in their life, it is quite impossible that those grandchildren adapt to new situation. So they gave orders to military to get free energy at any cost.
Well…involving huge military requires huge amount of energy, that you do not have in a first place.
You got it? They, obviously, didn’t.
If Russia destroys Western military, that would be, in fact, good for them. If NATO was able to carve out Siberia it wouldn’t be the biggest liability. Alas, Russians are not bunch of SandNiggaz. Getting Siberian riches could be messy.
So lets go North! Bring democracy to Polar Bears.
I recollect Nancy Reagan consulting astrologists on behalf of her husband? And that President had dementia too. If this is correct, perhaps Russians are doubly mocking the current Regime, which has far less panache than the 1980s..
When the media began its nonsense about Russia putting nukes in Cuba or Venezuela, I wish the Russians had replied:
It’s 2022, not 1962. We have hypersonics now. We can hit anywhere we want from anywhere we want whenever we want.
Let the media mull that, and let those who want have a querulous quibble about the various capabilities of which weapons placed where can actually do what.
Exactly!
Spot on.
Sure they have hypersonics today, but Russia also needs a demonstration of her strenght and committment. Like May 9 military parade, just invivo. Parade for foreign (US and Europe elite and people) public. So, they have to DO something, simple knowing that hypersonics sit in a silos ready to strike is not enough for required effect.
Governments no longer care what the various polities think. 11 million people worldwide marched in 2003 to protest against the US aggression against Iraq, and it didn’t stop anything. There were absolutely no adverse consequences for the warmongers and the criminals all got re-elected. I hope Democracy is not dead, but it’s nearly dead for the large issues of war and peace.
“Russia also needs a demonstration of her strenght and committment”
Actually, it does not. None of US vassals has dilemma “should we attack Russia or not.” Not really.
No discouragement is needed.
As for Anglos… they know first hand it is all over. They are spiraling into abyss of history, pulling everyone close enough.
Music is still playing, makeup is still pristine, and designer clothes is still dry. Nevertheless, their Titanic is doomed.
Russia can help their demise by making moves like abandoning US$, or sanctioning export of diesel fuel and rocket engines. That is equivalent of pouring buckets of water on already sinking ship. It is insignificant.
One of these days, when reality bites, and primal fear kicks in, western elites will order full out attack and go for a break. Some will follow order, some won’t. All Russia has to do is to reppel attack and burn incoming fools to a crisp. No one else will try. Ever.
That’s what I call demonstration of strength.
On twitter account GEROMAN is reporting that the US and NATO are accusing Russia of preparing false flag operations to justify an attack or invasion of Ukraine. It was last week or the week before reports were coming out that bolshevik nazi’s were setting up groups with bio/chem weapons. If Russia does attack the psychopaths will turn those weapons loose on the civilians. This just adds another threat to Russia’s front door. Either the crazies are becoming frightened or is this a western diplomatic maneuver to force Russia to back off?
I think that all the US and NATO leaders are currently on their knees praying to Satan to somehow make Russia invade the Ukraine.
Russia neither wants nor needs to do that.
God willing, Putin can defang NATO (politically and militarily) without a single Russian solider crossing the border.
That, at least, is my fervent hope.
The West’s failure to engage in reasonable diplomacy, the more general constant reliance in the ‘West’ on repudiating realism and disregarding facts in favor of falsehood in regard to many important aspects of recent history, and the derisive treatment of Russia as subject to the will of the Empire, are among many signs that do indeed provide a sound basis for the word stupid in relation to the Empire’s leadership, as in the Saker’s headline.
An alternative explanation is that the Empire has been taken over by what amounts to a death cult. And that war and destruction is what is desired, yearned for, believed in. That too qualifies as stupid, but more than that.
During the last two years much of the West – not alone by any means, but more egregiously than most other countries – has been transmuted into overt tyranny,
The West previously used to direct most of its brutality outwards, towards the designated ‘other’.
But the last two years have seen across the West the sudden internal repudiation of Constitutions, international covenants, basic elements of human rights, and common sense and common decency and normal medical practise. The people of the West have ‘out of the blue’ been subjected to a tyrannical and destructive form of medical martial law directed at their own citizens.
Removed – please stay on topic and don’t discuss banned topics – please check site rules. Mod.
A death cult has taken over running the Western Empire? I don’t think so. The empire is run by oligarchs whose top priority is always to be accumulating more wealth and power. Dying in a suicidal conflagration is not consistent with that priority. So, regardless how this crisis plays out, the oligarchs will still have their wealth and power.
The oligarchs are not a homogeneous group. In the past, you would be correct because times were good. The slaves were happy. They are in control. However, today is much bleaker which directly threatens their grip on power. We all know that sustained economic chaos brings about political and social upheaval. The chaos provides an opportunity to many fringe groups (not necessarily oligarchs themselves) to infiltrate the Halls of Power. Why? Because the ruling oligarchs are too busy trying to stabilize the situation; to maintain their grip on power. The ruling oligarchs would be open to reaching out to anyone that can help them; confident in their ability to infiltrate and control them in the end.
I would not be surprised to see part of the ruling oligarchs accepting the inevitable end and are willing to undertake any actions to salt the earth. They should not be confused with the Death Cult, they just want to salt the earth, subscribing to the “If I can’t have it, then no one will” mentality. While they do not want to end all life, they are willing to work with or use anyone, like the Death Cult, with the intention to betray them immediately after achieving their goals. They might even place the blame on the Death Cult after all is said and done. It’s one hell of a gambit.
And then there’s the part of the ruling oligarchs that have taken to the “If you can’t beat them, join them” mentality. They’re similar to the previous group (accepting defeat) but are looking for ways to save what’s left of their wealth and power. They know continuing the course or salting the earth mentality would result in a significant or complete loss of wealth and power. Cooperation, or merging, with another group of elites gives them an opportunity to retain what’s left of their wealth and power. Who knows, they might even find an opportunity to take over.
You are correct that we will continue to have oligarchs IF we come out of this crisis alive.
Some hierarchy will always emerge. It’s the basic law of nature. But from point of view of existing oligarchy, that is irrelevant. There is no such thing as everlasting oligarchy.
Reason is simple, but not obvious. Today’s oligarchy time is up because they are not worthy to be on the top.
In nature, best of the bests are on the top and take lions share of resources. Today’s oligarchy inherited resources, not earned them. In nature off-springs must fight to stay on the top. Fallacy that “money attracts more money” is not natural. Like money itself isn’t. That is why revolutions happened. It is a fail safe mechanism that protects humankind from descending into degeneracy and inevitable extinction.
Freak-show that we enjoy in recent years is sure sign that circuit breaker is about to blow.
Western oligarchy payed enough wise-men who came up with multiple preferable scenarios. Key word is “preferable”. I doubt anyone presented not-so-preferable scenario. Like being rounded up by revolutionary mob.
Happened before. Didn’t end up well for oligarchy.
Full spectrum surveillance wouldn’t look like smart idea then. When all those Yota-byte databases fall into hands of people, ALL will be revealed. Quantum computing is especially good at pattern recognition. None of oligarch will be able to hide, anywhere. Sorry, Elon, Mars is not far enough.
My guess is that their genotype will be officially banned. Treated like genetic disorders, or inherited diseases. Population of the Earth will be mandatory mRNA vaccinated against it. Sterilizing those who have offensive genes in the process.
New oligarchy will eventually emerge. To present one will be given Darwin Award.
On the death cult suggestion, I am reminded of the human death chrome skeletal sculpture seen outside a Bilderberg meeting. It looks like a human struggling in the water after being nuked, with their flesh falling off.

I found art is a good indicator of mindset.
I think Russia may deploy weapons and military facilities in Cuba or Venezuela. Not for operational capabilities but to make the US administration pay politically. Such a move would trigger complete hysteria and all western medias would be talking about that 24/7. At this point concealing the fact that what the US administrations have been doing for years doesn’t make the US safer would become impossible. Even the most ignorant americans will become aware of the danger. People will start to ask questions and the war party in the US will have huge difficulty to justify what it is doing if the result is the Russian military deploying assets and weapons close to the US. To be understood by western imbeciles Russia may be forced to speak in the language the western imbeciles understand.
…..Such a move would trigger complete hysteria and all western medias would be talking about that 24/7…..
But the Russian leadership does not want that panic. They are “partners”, pardon, Elvira-Sreder business oligarchy partners. That is why russian leadership decided to become bigger democrats than Americans and also bigger Christians then the former ones :)). Turn the other cheek, remember. Eusebius knew what he was putting into the canon :)) and why.
It would be nice for the Russian side to give “big” weapons f.e, to the Serbs. Depth between Kalingrad and Belgrade, the whole of Europe would be trapped. First they have to demand the demolition of Vucic regime for such a thing, by and for “people”. However, they are doing quite opposite, helping him every time before the election (Russian ambassador takes pictures with him every other day).
Why do you think American soldiers do not allow the Turks to control their “big” weapons :))? Maybe Turks or crazy Serbs or Bolivians or Cubans are not controlled enough by a globalist hand (aka they are not accountable :)) as they controll Russians and Americans. The two largest military forces on earth, and to belive that bosses do not control things, huh :))? To allow something what does endanger their power? Hard to belive.
They are “partners”, pardon, Elvira-Sreder business oligarchy partners. That is why russian leadership decided to become bigger democrats than Americans and also bigger Christians then the former ones :)). Turn the other cheek, remember. Eusebius knew what he was putting into the canon
Keep posting this kind of nonsense and I will ban you.
You have been warned.

Djole, as you know, Serbian leaders are western puppets.
The msm will only portray this as “we told you so…the russ are blood thirsty!”.
Removed. Mod. It is suggested any Russian moves in response to the recent meetings between Russia and the U.S., Russia and NATO and Russia and OSCE, which resulted in a refusal by all three agencies to even consider Russia’s concerns, would probably wait until after the Olympics due to start in February.
Why wait? Russia’s move, as considered in the above article, could be a done deal by early February.
Not a prediction – just thinking out loud…
Please respect site policy – make your own comment and if it requires then add a link – do not promote other sites as per site rules. Mod.
I apologise for over-stepping the rules. It was no my intention to do so.
Without giving my source, suffice to say that there is a post on the Internet that postulates that Russia should act now to defuse the situation facing the Donbass before the forces arrayed against it infiltrate the civilian population of the cities in the Donbass, utilise the civilian population there as human shields, and thereby make any move against them extremely bloody and prolonged. In my opinion, this makes sense.
Ukraine has to be defused. A Russian move now would push Kiev’s forces back to the Dnieper River, remove at least some of the more extreme forces (such as the Azov Battalion?), incorporate Mariupol into an enlarged Donbass, make the Sea of Azov a non-threatening zone and create some breathing space for all those living east of the Dnieper River.
Yes, Russia would be “invading”, but they would not have to remain. They could recognise the liberated area as whatever that liberated area chose to declare itself, declare a no-fly zone over it and return to their side of the current Ukraine/Russia border.
The U.S., NATO and Europe were asked, politely in my opinion, to get off Russia’s doorstep. They refused. The ball is now in Russia’s court.
I think Russia may deploy weapons and military facilities in Cuba or Venezuela. Not for operational capabilities but to make the US administration pay politically. Such a move would trigger complete hysteria and all western medias would be talking about that 24/7. With such a move Russia would indeed increase the pressure and create counter threats impossible to conceal to the public. To be understood by western imbeciles Russia may be forced to speak in the language the western imbeciles understand.
“Stupid is as stupid does.”
That is the problem. Stupidity is a very dangerous state of mind. It leads to disasters.
Russia has the dual problem of doing what it must and care-taking of the invalid, handicapped, ignoramuses of the US and West.
It’s not enough to ‘win’. They have to cajole the stupid into quiescence. (sit down, behave, you lost).
So the strategic and tactical moves are not unilateral. Russia has to watch out that the hegemon does nothing rash or stupid that might erupt into a kinetic disaster.
We saw this week the US has no idea of its own condition, nor will the US accept a lesser role in the global scheme other than #1, Hegemon.
Though the USA is disintegrating, it is not limited in its chaos-making capabilities. Especially, regarding the Russophobia that drives US policies, doctrines and actions, this is at a boiling point of irrationality.
Expect really stupid events soon. Biden, the State Dept., the CIA, the Pentagon all are reinforcing stupidity with pathological hatred of Russia.
I think the trick for Russia is not defeating the Empire (Odds are the Empire will do much of the heavy lifting for that all by itself), but letting it down *gradually*. That’s certainly too difficult for my tiny pea brain.
The EU may safely be ignored, as how and when, exactly, it falls apart is no big deal (at least not for the RF), but the US falling apart with thousands of nukes maybe coming loose – that’s no good for anyone.
That is the problem. Stupidity is a very dangerous state of mind. It leads to disasters.
Yes, exactly. The metaphor often used in Russia is the “monkey with a hand grenade”.
How do you disarm that monkey without having it blow up the entire room?
That is Russia’s dilemma.
I am confident that Putin will solve it.
A monkey with a hand grenade. That’s the empire of chaos.
Or, get that bull out of my china shop, and that fish out of my boat.
Agreed, I am also confident that Putin will solve the problem and we will all be stunned at the ingenuous nature of the solution.
“How do you disarm that monkey without having it blow up the entire room?”
We have seen winning strategy. Russian military first cut of enemy logistics and sources of income.
Worked before, why to change.
(First) response will probably be something along those lines.
“We saw this week the US has no idea of its own condition, nor will the US accept a lesser role in the global scheme other than #1, Hegemon.”
Perfect. I agree. The USA has spent the last century taking steroids and building artificial shiny muscles, robust, spacious cities filled with concrete and megalomania, which fill the eyes of the world and some Slavs (lovers of form), with their large buildings, large spaces and immense highways. in cities, people talking and walking hurriedly (see how the spokesperson and aides to the Secretary of State rush into the media and interview room). With his overbearing American accent forced, artificial, disgusting and at the speed of light. They walk and talk like that because they “want to lead the world”, and they don’t want to learn from Putin the maxim that the greatest in the cosmos is the one who serves, that to lead is to serve. And like narcissists, they compare themselves to the world, they look in the mirror, but they don’t realize that underneath their robust form is cancer, illness, family social dysfunction, priceless debt, etc. Which Western leader has Putin’s morality? Putin was also a great father, and he has a daughter who is a scientist doctor who participated at some level in the vaccine task. Biden’s son, the drug addict Hunter Biden, is in Ukraine to make money in his name and harm beautiful Slavs. Every narcissist is suicidal and murderous. Unfortunately for all of us, the US believes its own lies.
Thanks for your sincere words of wisdom!
When a fight is inevitable, strike first.
I believe a wise man once said this.
ABC: … are you referring to VVP or the fiction character Jack Reacher ?
VVP certainly did say exactly that
Strike first, strike fast and (more controversially) strike to kill. Will Putin order the latter? Or will he settle for just disabling his opponents?
Nobody should want to fight against a nation that just demonstrated it is superior in producing the most sophisticated weapons while spending 18 times less than the highest spender on weapons. Is there someone other than the “devil” who says we should? Just because the most sophisticated weapons are shown to the world does not mean that they show all that they have. Peacemakers in the West – let’s respect the peacemaker claim of all – are wasting the opportunity to make peace with someone like Putin, who invites peace, who even puts in his proposal to NATO a clause not to be “adversaries” anymore. That guy is not going to be there forever. Who comes next, and how does that future someone evolve in time? I don’t know if anyone or how many think about this, but there’s reason to think none/few if Pres. Putin is said to be a murderer and the most corrupt leader in the world. Careful with those wishes.
I agree that Russia would not be doing it… My bets are on disrupting /destroying communications and logistics…
I was wondering whether Russia could increase military assistance to the Donbass citizens. To a point that the Donest and Lugansk Republics were to fight a civil war against Kyiv, win it and declare independence, soon recognized by Moscow. Seen the current mess in the Ukraine government and military, why not?
@edFerreira
The Donbass military is too small, too immobile without Russian add-on via North Wind volunteers and a logistical and tactical supply (Voentorg). It has no air force, just drones. It can be trapped in cauldrons if it moves to the southwest to seize Mariupol. It can be trapped along long lines to capture Kiev. It is heavily outnumbered, by factors of 4-5 or more. It would face NATO and US advisers, and a much higher technical level of opposition than in 2014-2015. It would not have popular support as it moves from its present area.
It would be do or die and it would lose.
They don’t even have their trio of charismatic leaders, Zach, Givi and Motorola, all assassinated.
Only Russia can win that fight, and then it would be a long gruesome counter-insurgency against hundreds of thousands of Nazis from all over Ukraine, and East Europe.
If you want to see the good guys win in Ukraine, hope the Ukies start things so Russia can finish them. Otherwise, it is frozen combat, until Kiev is abandoned by the West or some larger geopolitical remedy is structured.
Minsk 2 is the solution. The US refuses to make it happen.
If the massive deaths in Libya and Syria don’t tell you that the comparatively paltry number of deaths per year in Donbass don’t get any UN or EU attention, then you should know that life means nothing in the power game played against Russia over the bodies of children and old ladies in Donbass.
Thanks a lot, Larchmonter445, crystal clear clarification!
It is somewhat reassuring that the “trigger-happy experts” on Russian policy (“what Russia should do, what it should have done, and all the things it did wrong”) are not the opinion leaders here …
“and then it would be a long gruesome counter-insurgency against hundreds of thousands of Nazis from all over Ukraine, and East Europe.”
I don’t think so (my feeling). I watched Zelensky’s new year’s address. I do not speak Ukranian/Russian but his face was so expressive I felt like I understood and kept listening, and it was kind of scary – the out of place face expression, a strange soothing tone throughout, and yesterday his spokesman was talking about a “life or death” situation. I don’t advocate troops invading but they could even be welcomed by the Ukranians, not surprisingly. I don’t really believe the way the media portrays Ukranians. I think most must have found that new year’s address odd too – more so!
Brilliant analysis.
Only this is questionable:
“They don’t even have their trio of charismatic leaders, Zach, Givi and Motorola, all assassinated.”
That martyred trio was unknown before war. When occasion arises again, their legacy will bring out new leaders in greater number.
Slava im!
That is absolutely a possibility, especially if the Russian lock the airspace of eastern Ukraine.
Definitely a possibility.
CIA-trained Ukrainian paramilitaries may take central role if Russia invades

Ah-la Bay of Pigs CIA trained.
Why would Russia invade Ukraine when all the usual voices in the west are saying it will?
I could almost picture blinkden and stoltenberg standing on the russian border with Ukraine holding signs saying invade now and this way to Kiev
It is too obvious
I think Russia wants to force nato to react, beyond sanctions
So.they might do something where sanctions are not enough and a military option considered
This would force nato to decide if the response is worth the risk or whether realistic negotianion is a better route
So perhaps a low level military intervention in a neighboring nato country by Russia?
Something that leaves an out for both sides
The real question is this: why would Russia need/want that shithole country 404 and its Ukronazi losers???
There is nothing at all in the Ukraine which Russia would want or need. Absolutely nothing.
But there ARE things Russia cannot allow to happen there.
So yes, if the West is dead set on provoking Russia, she will have little choice but to do an 08.08.08 again
02.02.22?
The fundamental question is: why West wants/needs for Russia to invade Ukraine/? What bonuses would bring it to them? Or is it only a Western PR used to blackmail Russia in the behind the scenes bargaining?
“What bonuses would bring it to them?”
It’s not about bonuses, its about cost. As a contributor to NATO Ukraine is useless and will remain useless in foreseeable future. West could not afdord yet another liability.
Western goal is to maximize cost for Russia during (imaginary) ocupation. To eventualy crush Russian economy by any means available.
Russia didn’t and will not be baited. West is out of other options, hence mindless double-downs and triple-downs.
I wonder if normalization of ties with North Korea is one of the options?
Yes, but only with the help of China which is the biggest player in the DPRK.
But,
What about strengthening the Russian-Chinese alliance?
Now that would truly freak out the US+NATO+EU
What is there left to strengthen?
China and Russia have their own alternative to SWIFT, compatible with each other systems, trade between themselves using their own currencies, technological cooperation in telecommunications, aerospace and likely more, and have a quasi-military alliance via the SCO.
Why not a naval base à la Latakia in Cuba/Venezuela? Missiles on board of ships and you have none of the mentioned headaches and can still act unilaterally at any moment.
Exactly! That’s what I was thinking too. Lets face it, a hyper-sonic missile launched from Cuba would only have a 20 second flight time to a juicy US target. That would get their attention lol
Russia will not strike the US mainland unless the US attacks Russia proper first.
A direct Russian attack on the USA would force the US to go to full war, which in the USA means nuclear war.
Not a good idea.
My rationale for this was to give the boys in Washington second thoughts about launching a first strike against Russia. As you are well aware, there are many crazies in DC that think they can launch a 1st strike against Russia and only suffer acceptable losses.
Seems Russia hasn’t learned anything since June 1941. All those NATO bases boarding the RF aren’t there for fun & games. Soon, the US ballistic missile launchers will be operational in Poland, ect. The end game for the crazies is a redo of June 1941, but will nuclear tipped cruise missiles. They are crazy and have war gamed this out and believe they can pull it off.
Because that is very far away from Russia, thus it would be both very hard and very expensive to maintain.
However, Russian ships (surface and, even more so, subs) in the mid-Atlantic would be an option.
But the occasional visit by a Russian naval ship to Cuba (or Venezuela or Nicaragua) would be a nice way of pissing off the USA. And give the sailors a little R&R at the same time.
I think the Russian talk of missiles in Cuba or Venezuela is a masterful troll by Putin. The USA fell for it hook, line and sinker.
“However, Russian ships (surface and, even more so, subs) in the mid-Atlantic would be an option.”
That’s would require passing through the Bear Gap and the GIUK Gap right under the nose of the Brits and US occupied Iceland and Norway.

They’re insane not stupid. Stupid can be excused for lack of education or poor childhood upbringing. Insane is acting contra to well established facts and principles and still thinking it can end well for you. There is no hope with these racists/Russophobes. I wash my hands of them, I have no interest in anything they say, they lie, they cheat they backstab. They can go to hell for that is the only place this nation of warmongering, fearful paranoics belong, boiling in Satans p**s
They do what they can get away with, what they can do with little consequence to their own positions
If Russia invade Ukraine, there is no consequence for nato, it would embolden the concept of nato expansion
Somehow Russia has to illustrate the folly of nato expansion
That it doesn’t make Europe safer and hence what is it purpose
And do this without damaging its removal reputation, a difficult task indeed
I would hazard a guess that Russia’s response will likely be in the form of an announcement of a formal defense alliance with Iran and China, providing the latter with air defense and submarine technology. Secondly, once the Ukies realize there is no invasion forthcoming and decide to attack themselves, the Russians will decimate their frontline/advisors with stand off weapons and declare Donbass a no fly zone. Of course this will trigger sanctions from hell and then it will be time to send some body bags from different parts of the world back to the US
You and I are having very similar thoughts.
I think that your scenario has a very good chance of actually happening.
I concur with this analysis. Can see and read in the info that is out there that preparations for this taking place is occuring.
If the US and its Ukie puppets decide to go to war, then a few days prior, I would expect the less-essential NATO advisers to leave the area so they don’t get hurt or captured. There’s a historical precedent: For Georgia’s 08.08.08 war, all the Israeli trainers left the country a week or two earlier. That was a big “tell” to everyone who knew about it. I’m pretty sure the Kremlin knows about everything it needs to know in the Ukraine, and especially about any plans to attack the Donbass.
Fair warning, was given, on that day.
I have as well. Especially given Putin’s statement to consult with Xi about the talks after an answer is received from the west. And given all the intersecting interests Russia and Iran have; Syria, gas contracts, a shared border in the caspian, security in Central Asia, the sco, BRI, etc.
But, and it’s a big but, I keep coming back to the statement “move, or we will move you.” I think it was Ryabkov who said it, or something very much like that depending on the translation. So the Russians said it, and the west pretty much said “make us.” As we all knew they would but hoped they wouldn’t. And there was the speech to the Russian military that Putin gave saying that Russia has nowhere to retreat. Pretty much making sure that they were all onboard with what comes next. I don’t mean to suggest that he was asking them, just informing them to make sure beyond any doubt that realize the gravity of the situation; st. Crispin’s Day speech and all that.
Sorry for the long preface, I’m getting to my point. So the west has created this condition of an imminent Russian invasion pretty much out of thin air because they know that’s what Russia needs to do,so they get ahead of the event to interpret the coming event to their advantage. And it does put Russia in a bit of a bind, given Putin’s preference for legality and desire to uphold the UN system (I’m not sure we’re at the point of force majeure yet). Then last Saturday I woke up, sat up, and thought “holy crap, the west just gave Putin his casus belli.” Kazakhstan. CSTO. Real quick: they keep mentioning outside enabler to overthrow the government, Ukraine keeps getting mentioned as a coordinator or enabler of the billionaire cum presidential wannabe. Yes Turkey too, but nothings going to happen there. But Ukraine. Committing an act of war against a CSTO member. Time to put that dog down? A destabilizing and terror sponsoring state? That would get NATO to move off no? ‘Move or we will move you.” I left out all the counter thoughts and questions as to bringing that about because this post is already long, like would the other members of the CSTO support such an interpretation and consequent action. But I just keep coming back to this idea.
Russia had put her red lines via the ultimatum requirements. If ultimatum fails, Russia will achieve these requirements by means of military-technical measures.
1. To push back NATO infrastructure,
2. To prevent any new NATO expansion in the future.
First one has to be done by missile strikes to NATO installations in Poland/Romaina/Ukraine. Ideally with minimal human casualties.
Later one is the most elegant to be done by forcing Europeans to dismantle NATO themselves by effectivelly demonstrating them that NATO cannot protect them, but on the contrary, it is just putting them into the risk of Russian devastating attacks. What exactly action will be done to achieve this we will still see, but range is very wide – from installing nukes in Belarus and Kalingrad, hitting NATO satelites, destroying submarine internet optical links… you name it.
Any other geopolitical and economical moves will sure follow-up, like Iran/|China aliance, presence in Latin Amerika, petrodollar removal from Asia etc.
It would be interesting to organize a bet about anticipating next Russia moves. :-)
Anyway, it is really exciting time ahead us. I have to also say that I am really happy to have found websites like this where clever and honest people discuss and try to make world better place to live.
Good read. But the counter sanctions by Russia will be the mother of all sanctions. What if, Russia completely turns off the energy spigot to the West. From what I know, Russia can feed its population in a time of austerity. The West cannot. Russia can fuel its own energy needs. The West cannot. Russia under Putin can survive bad times. The West under corporate corruption and greedy elites cannot.
Asia already has cars with the quality of the Germans, cheaper than them. The German industry cannot live without energy, gas from Russia. It would stop being competitive and die. Putin has the West in his hands. Only he is being patient and humanitarian.
The Russia/Iran relationship has been patchy, following this theme of alliances, a more geostrategic middle finger to the AZ’s would be Russia/China/India defense alliance, VVP did recently visit India and is due to visit China, these visits stradle the recent “educating the imbeciles” meetings and this hypothetical alliance fits the surprise/fundamental moves VVP is known for!
Around here they say there is very low moral in the military right now, you can lead a soldier to the front lines, but you cant make him fight.
@Alabama
This is really funny, if not so tragic for the empire. However, they continue recruiting — perhaps just to keep unemployment less visible.
An alliance Russia-China-Iran would rule out many wars. I doubt that Russia and China trust Iran enough. China and Iran are probably not interested, but later could be. Such an alliance could allay the preoccupation that Israel manifests about being attacked by Iran because it would be an alliance of non-aggressor nations, where Iran could be restricted by the alliance’s nature and terms, and Israel could not attack Iran no matter what, avoiding a war between those two. It would be surprising if such an alliance happens at this time.
Sometimes I wonder why this kind of alliance has not yet happened.
It occurred maybe rather obvious to many but to me that that Russia can destroy the West without any military intervention. If the US/UK/NATO_puppets impose those withering sanctions on Russia, then all Russia has to is completely turn off the energy spigot. All of it. Russia not only provides a massive percentage of natural gas but also other forms of energy fuels to the West. Sure a complete economic collapse will hurt Russia, but Russia unlike the West can survive it. Russia can sell to China/Asia bolstering their economies while the West lives in a permanent state of rolling black outs and food insecurity for entire populations. There all other wicked measures Russia could do like smuggling in AKs and ammo in the various no-go zones of Nordic and Western countries. The arrogant leaders of the West are clueless.
It is difficult to convey the disgust I am feeling for the EU Reich. One of Russia’s priority must be to undermine, sabotage and ultimately dismantle this evil construct.
This from the shrivelled old Jesuit Borrell:
►The EU will not allow the Russian Federation to attempt to create spheres of influence in Europe;
►The EU reaffirmed the validity of all the principles of European security and which are embedded in the Helsinki Final Act;
►The EU reaffirmed its solidarity with Ukraine and other countries of Eastern Europe, which today are threatened by aggression from Russia;
►EU calls on Russia to de-escalate;
►the EU will definitely respond to an attempted aggression by Russia;
►The EU will work with the US and NATO in coordinating efforts to support security;
►The EU will work with the US to end the military conflict;
►The EU is ready to join in strengthening the mechanisms for ensuring transparency and predictability of military activities, as well as confidence-building measures;
►The EU will support restarting work on arms control;
►The EU continues to work on sanctions, on which Europe will work together with partners

The ultimate key that Russia should keep in mind at all times in all the happenings is to permanently dismantle American Imperial Colonial military Occupation of Germany. Germany, is the key to a successful socio-economic Europe the envy of the West.
That is the mantra we hear from everybody – from Vladimir Putin to most pro-Russian commentators. Just one question: What was Germany (and its Euro Reich) like before being captured and coddled by the evil Americans? Where does this optimism stem from? The German war on the Slavs began in the 8th Century.
That is my impression when I see that all the US responses are always about Russia threatening Ukraine. It is as if they are trying to wish a Russian intervention into reality. The US must really need it to happen for them to harp on about it relentlessly.
They promised never to move East, but here they are wanting Ukraine in NATO and to put hardware on Russia’s doorstep. Why?
Justification of NATO advances or existence? Or trying to drop off their created disaster back onto Russia and damage the economy?
I heard with my own ears the Russian government pleading for cooperation and an equitable partnership with the US since the 90s. For the life of me, I can’t understand how increasing trade, partnerships, and good relationships would have hindered the United States. The US was in a position to kill the world with kindness and had much more influence than it does today if they didn’t take the road they took with endless interventions. It disgusts me. Such corruption. This missed opportunity will be a disaster for the US in the long term. I just hope Russia doesn’t have to pay with blood for stupidity of Western leaders. Enough is enough.
Sorry for digressing and ranting….
“The general public in the West has also been stupidified beyond rescue.” – Some would prefer the term “beyond redemption.” Anyway, a very good and short introduction about Modern Warfare. Things are shot down from hundreds of Kilometers away….? I doubt stupid understands that…. nor “maneuver by fire.”
Russia is powerful and strong, and also capable of moving on the edge of escalation, win wars, destroy her enemies. However, we that desire daily peace and normalcy are on the last leg. It’s not normal or healthy to read an be exposed to such things and complete insanities, which even worse are presented as “true” and “correct”. That’s why simple regular people are acting insane these days. We can only hope in God to help us with this.
A Blessed and very Happy New Year to All
Before I offer a couple minor comments, I want to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to Andrei and all the erudite commenters here in The Vineyard.
I am but an eager seeker here and I am in all your debt.i have learned so much and I am truly grateful.
So, I popped over to English Pravda and saw a couple a three interesting recent developments…….
A Borel Class submarine surfaced off the U.S. coast
The RF is redeploying troops (500k) and equipment to the entire Western border areas.
RF has deployed heavy flame thrower units to said same. I watched the video of these fearsome hyperbaric weapons as I had no idea of what they were…..
God help who they land on because nothing else can…
And over in Kalinggrad, an E/W unit happened to be training right when 6 Japanese fighters and 2 U.S. bombers were practicing an attack on Russia.
Seems they spoiled their fun.

A real conundrum this
I thank God for the Russian people and Mr.Putin and if all this ends in fire, so be it.
I’m ready either way.
Mr. Lavrov’s recent statement about who a real optimist is resonated perfectly, with me, anyways.
Blessings upon us All

Are you sure the Telegraph didnt mean Biden hired an astrologer. Those guys helped Hitler out, i think.
@ Saker
“…Russia has hit out at the plan, suggesting that US officials would do better to hire astrologists instead.”

Paraphrasing “Che” Guevara, who said “The speed of the guerrilla is the speed of its slowest man,” we could say “the brains of the US army, is the brains of its slowest thinker.”

“…Those who think that Putin is preparing a WWII style attack simply don’t understand modern warfare at all.”
——————
Biden has watched too many WWII movies, with “Ike” Eisenhower consulting several teams of meteorologists in preparation for D-Day. However, we can be sure this was not his idea, he’s being advised to do so by his military counselors. The news reveals how stuck the US army is in the WWII mindset, it continues to dominate planning at the highest levels. The fact the news was leaked was to reiterate how important Ukraine is for US foreign policy, and to show how much attention and focus the US has on Ukraine-Russia developments.
On the other hand, it shows their utter stupidity Russians are laughing at. They know the Reagans used to hire astrologers, it wouldn’t be the first time. What can you expect from a country where someone makes a living selling bottled farts? Disgusting, but true.

PS: Thanks for your insights, and for the coverage of the not-so negotiations. I drove two hours or so home listening to Lavrov “divine skein,” as the Taoist Art of War calls political diplomacy. Lavrov is looping a rope around the “Western partners” with a long term vision and lasting effects. In short, he’s subverting the NWO.
Dear Saker:
I see eye to eye with you about the low possibility of Russia establishing military bases in Latin America (nobody has even considered the opinion of Venezuelan, Cuban or Nicaraguans, Why would they want to paint a nuclear target on their own backs?).
However, I believe that Russia selling high end militay equipment (especially Antiaircraft) to Iran, LDNR is quite possible.
Andrei Martianov even hinted in one of his videos about the possibility of mr. Putin announcing a military alliance between Russia and China during Mr. Putin visit to inaugurate the chinese olimpics in a few weeks.
What do you think about this possibility? Could the Shanghai organization even accept Iran as a full member?
Mr. putin is a judo expert, and it shows in his political responses to the (so called) west’s agressions. He always counters with a very surplrising and unexpected move using the momentum of Russia’s rivals.
I would love to hear your oppinions on these subjects.
Warm greetings.
In modern warfare, observe–orient–decide–act is the ultimate loop. In combat terms, it is getting-inside the response-time of your opponent. If your combined “identify-confirm-aim-deliver” loop is shorter than your opponent’s, you win.
The above is also true for conferencing among allies. If one is acting alone (as Russia mostly is), there are no drawn-out, back-and-forth discussions – which eat-up time. This puts you at a disadvantage in acting. (“When you have to shoot, Shoot. Don’t Talk.” – Tuco in The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly movie.)
Also, Russia acting alone (as Russia effectively does) prevents the ‘boundary’ vulnerability. I remember a few WWII battles where the attacking force specifically struck at the boundary between different countries’ troops (German-to-Italian in Egypt, German-to-(say)Romanian in western Russia). NATO forces have this inherent ‘vulnerability’, and Russian ops-types have no doubt examined this area extensively.
So, there are a lot of variables beyond simple weapons-counts…
And, finally, I really hope that Russia manages to finally protect the LDNR from the Ukronazis but WITHOUT any direct military intervention in the Ukraine (I have no problems with deniable, indirect, efforts to assist the LDNR).
I think there’s a possibility:
It’s been more than seven years since the conflict erupted in the Donbass and the signing of the Minsk Agreements. A significant number of Ukrainians (>100,000, from my reading) hold RF passports and quite possibly many are serving in RF military.
Seven years is more than ample time to train a brigade (or more) of LDNR soldiers — let’s name them ‘Free Ukrainian Army’ — able to conduct armoured/mechanised/MOUT warfare and to train local militia in the territory of LDNR but presently dispersed (perhaps in RF military units) and based outside the Ukraine on RF territory.
What’s to stop RF then from taking ‘reciprocal action’ in a ‘technical-military’ form by supplying them with equipment such as artillery, armoured vehicles, AA, electronic, and recon, as soon as they are (re)formed up?
As is, in the above scenario, RF has not violated any of the provisions of the Minsk Agreements. But if the Ukraine attacks the Donbass, then Minsk is off the table and the FUA — fully trained and ably-led Ukrainians — can return to defend its homeland, literally out of the fog.
In the case of hostilities RF — which has no troops on the ground — doesn’t even have to deny its support for LDNR forces; in fact RF can turn the tables on the West by pleading R2P, and even then only by giving technical assistance: the West will then get a clear idea of what exactly is meant by RF when it said it would resort to ‘military-technical’ options should there be no movement on its ultimatum.
Putin-Raisi-Xi
Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi is set to visit Russia on Jan. 19, Putin is going to China on Feb. 4 to the opening of the Olympics, Lavrov said today, highlighting the importance of both encounters. Master Putin is working on a triangulation of sorts, a consolidation of strategic alliances and mutual defense could be in the works with both countries. S-400s to Iran are already being negotiated, and who knows what else would Putin offer to Iran as a defense package. Iran will become untouchable, either by Israel, the US, or the Gulf zombies.
We can be sure that Putin won’t make a move before the Olympics, or before his visit to China, not to steal the light from the games, out of respect for Xi. Nonetheless, 2022 promises to be a redefining year, strategic initiative will finish its motion to the east. Lavrov is definitely carving a much better New World Order out of the old, oppressive NWO, projecting Russia’s new power everywhere, ASEAN, African Union, Latin America, Indian sub-continent, you name it.
Talk-talk, fight-fight, will get us there.

Re stationing strategic weapons in the Southern hemisphere. My guess is that all Russia needs is an agreement for its warships and perhaps subs to have temporary stopover permits from the relevant countries. Just the knowledge that at any given time 36 or whatever hypersonic missiles are nearby would be enough to make the US nervous. Of course, any sub offshore of the US would do the same, but whether those subs are actually there or not might be difficult to assess by the US (other than assuming they are there, which is also useful to Russia.) But knowing they are there in a near-by country is another matter. That adds aggravation to the US over whatever complaint it has about the near-by country.
Here’s a post I’ve made at Moon of Alabama (Removed. No need to make this point if you are making the comment here – stick to site rules please. Mod). in response to a post by Gilbert Doctorow.
Russian Roulette: As Croupier at This Particular Casino Table, I Invite You To Place Your Bets
This is my bet.
Gilbert’s post is considerably more pessimistic than some of his previous posts. And I pretty much agree with all of it.
Except the part about February and frozen ground. I read an article yesterday that said it’s been a mild winter in Ukraine and much of the ground is still muddy. OTOH, a military expert quoted said that while that might complicate things, Russian forces are trained and used to such conditions. Mud is a nuisance, not a show-stopper.
Gilbert is also right about the morale of the Ukrainian troops. They’ve been sitting in those trenches for a year now. Perhaps some of them have been rotated out back to permanent bases and replaced – exactly like the so-called “Russian invasion” troops have been from those training bases that gave rise to the fake “Russian invasion” stories we’ve all read. But there’s a difference between being in a barracks and being in a field somewhere. Having been in the US military back in the 60s I’m aware.
One thing Gilbert and every other commentator misses about the “Russian invasion” is that it’s quite probable that it’s being *invited* by the Biden administration. The CIA and the neocons *want* Russia to invade so they can further their geopolitical agenda – regardless of what happens to Ukraine. They want to sacrifice Ukraine on the alter of their agendas, just like the US has done to countless “allies” over the years, such as the Shia of southern Iraq after the 1991 Iraq war.
As for the loss of credibility that the US would suffer when Russia destroys Ukraine, the CIA and the neocons probably figure that would be offset by dumping all the blame on Russia. They also assume such a war would force the wavering EU back into the NATO fold.
None of these outcomes need to be true. They just need to be believed in by the CIA and the neocons, just like they believed (or at least told everyone) that “the Iraq war would pay for itself” and that the US would go on to overthrow Iran.
It’s even possible the CIA and the neocons have planned an every worse outcome than just a war between Ukraine and Russia. I previously assumed that, given the military balance reality between Russia and NATO, that the US and NATO would stay out of any conflict in Ukraine. Supposedly Biden has assured everyone that the US will *not* fight Russia over Ukraine. But it’s not that simple.
I wasn’t aware of the number and extent of NATO military exercises scheduled for Ukraine in 2022. According to Global Research, nine manoeuvres will be carried out in 2022 and the number of military personnel participating in them will almost double compared to 2021 – to 64,000. The number of aircraft and helicopters will more than triple – to 361, and warships almost 4 times – to 256. Many of them begin in February – precisely when the prediction of a Russian invasion is being touted.

Maple Arch multinational exercise 2022. Duration: up to 45 days, March – December 2022.
Viking 2022 multinational exercise. Duration: up to 45 days, February-December 2022.
Now imagine that during one of these exercises, Ukraine launches a new offensive against the Donbass, under cover or even with the assistance of the foreign forces taking part in the exercises. Let’s say that some of those foreign NATO forces get caught up in the Russian response. Russia would undoubtedly be aware of those forces and their location, but as they say, “things happen.” This could result in NATO invoking Chapter 5 of the NATO Charter. This would literally force Biden to commit a US response.
And then we’re off to the races. There is a possibility that this is exactly the situation the CIA and the neocons have engineered. And this is what everyone commenting on the situation has missed. Yes, it’s a “conspiracy theory.” But it’s a plausible one.
Addendum: Don Bacon at Moon of Alabama quotes the relevant NATO Charter passages:
Article 5
“… if such an armed attack occurs, each of them, in exercise of the right of individual or collective self-defence recognized by Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations, will assist the Party or Parties so attacked by taking forthwith, individually and in concert with the other Parties, such action as it deems necessary, including the use of armed force, to restore and maintain the security of the North Atlantic area.”
Article 6
“For the purpose of Article 5, an armed attack on one or more of the Parties is deemed to include an armed attack:
— on the territory of any of the Parties in Europe or North America, on the Algerian Departments of France 2, on the territory of Turkey or on the Islands under the jurisdiction of any of the Parties in the North Atlantic area north of the Tropic of Cancer;
— on the forces, vessels, or aircraft of any of the Parties, when in or over these territories or any other area in Europe in which occupation forces of any of the Parties were stationed on the date when the Treaty entered into force or the Mediterranean Sea or the North Atlantic area north of the Tropic of Cancer.” . .here
Technically that would not include Ukraine because presumably the Parties were not stationed there at the time the Treaty entered into force. But I suspect that point would be considered moot if a significant number of NATO military assets got trashed in Ukraine.
Brilliant research and work! And that gives thorough context to the immediacy of the Russian reaction. I think we’re in for a rough ride.
What you’re missing is that the NATO can’t invoke the Article 5 unless a member state is directly attacked. Remember that Turks didn’t get any support from NATO when they were pounded by Russian planes in Syria. The same would happen here.
Even if some warmongers in the NATO would want to invoke the Article 5, there will be debates and many members would back away from the fight.
I agree that some NATO members would not be willing to respond. And if any did, they’d get trashed.
The question is would Biden be forced to respond, either from his own belief or because the US Congress pressured him to.
I don’t think Turkey is the same scenario. Turkey was inside another country when they were hit. And I suspect most of the original NATO members weren’t entirely happy with Erdogan over the immigration problem as well. Also the number of forces involved was minimal, according to Wikipedia:
2020 Balyun airstrikes
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Balyun_airstrikes
In the event of a major conflict in Ukraine which resulted in say, 500-1,000 NATO military casualties, and given the fact that the propaganda would be of a “Russian invasion”, I think NATO invoking Chapter 5 is quite possible, despite the technical point that Ukraine is not part of the definition of Chapter 5.
As I say, it’s a conspiracy theory, but a plausible one. I also say that just because the neocons plan it doesn’t mean their plan is going to work. But it’s possible that it could and that would be very dangerous.
Putin did not invade Ukraine, but as a genius invasion against the U.S. Dollar. Russia was the first country to start banning Dollar since 2014 and several among them China is following the trend.. Almost all media have missed the high-level geopolitical chess at play and focused so narrowly on the individual moves, that they’re completely missing the big picture. There’s currently a war about what reserve currency the world should use – and the U.S. is poised to lose. We can see this in how biased the reporting is toward Western political actions being favorable and working. The sanctions are not only not working, they were a trap for the U.S. Dollar in the first place. Putin has been the one in control of the situation for the past decade and more, and he’s playing a long-term game.
Finally, there is an impression in Western media that Putin would be “incapable” of sophisticated schemes like this – that Vladimir Putin would be an unsophisticated simpleton. That image doesn’t pass the simplest of smell tests. Putin is the president of Russia. Russian power is cutthroat to unimaginable levels. To not just reach the top, but also stay at the top, you need to be long-term, cynical, and results-oriented to levels not even understood in the West. Long-term as in taking 20 years to set the bait by making Europe dependent on Russian energy. That’s why Putin comes across as “mad and irrational” to Western policymakers; the Russian thought processes are more ruthless than anything relatable in the West.
But “mad and irrational” doesn’t make somebody a Russian president. “Mad and irrational” makes somebody a Russian drunk homeless. Therefore, Western media are either painting a propagandistic picture of Putin on purpose, or not understanding the utterly pragmatic way of thinking. Therefore, claims that Putin is unpredictable and irrational don’t pass the simplest of smell tests. To the contrary, he’s genius and he’s a very very skilled power player.
You raise some excellent points here. But its not just Putin on his own. It is like China, a Meritocracy. Putin has a first-class team supporting and advising him and the key issue is that they all look in the same direction.
@ Anton Gorbatow on January 14, 2022 · at 2:21 pm EST/EDT
“One way you know that the West is stupid is how easily they fell into the trap in Kazakhstan.”
They didn’t fall into it, they created it. It was a F.U.B.A.R. as big as Kazakhstan. CIA/MI6/Mossad/Turks have grown arrogant and careless, planned for a walk in the park, had already penetrated high levels of the Kazakh government/security forces/military, Security Council included, assumed they had it all under control, command and control network centers parallel to the Kazakh government, they almost took control of the country.
However, they didn’t count with the Russians rapid reaction forces, who blocked their C&C networks with EW, leaving them headless and directionless, isolated them, and neutralized them piecemeal. It was a trap of their own making, an underestimation of cataclysmic proportions. That might have the last of the “color revolutions,” the West will need to reinvent something new, their tricks are already well know, easy to tackle.
Lone Wolf
Lone Wolf, I totally agree with your description of what happened in Kazakhstan. However, I think that Russia allowed the color revolution attempt to happen. Thus I think It’s accurate to say that Russia set a trap for the West. . But you’re right, the West didn’t FALL into the trap; they walked into the trap of their own volition.
“That might have the last of the “color revolutions,” ”
In central Asia maybe the last, but what about Balkans – Serbia and Serbian Republic (Република Српска) in Bosnia?
If you want to have a look at what the US is up to you can aleays count on swedish media.
Lately they have run op-eds on the topic “why Putin won’t invade Ukraine”. They of course pin it down to NATO forcing him not to, not that Russia don’t want Ukraine as it is as useful for swimming as concrete shoes. This in combination with this russian winter story give me a bit of hope.
They are finding ways out of this mess trying to save their faces (mainly in front of other elite faces, not the population). In this case, any reason for not war is a good reason
A welcome analysis of the military situation. Uncle $cam has not yet realized that, if real war with Russia were to come (Heaven forbid!) it will come to a Walmart near him. It will no longer be just “Over there”.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=921z4LAHvak
It looks to me like Washington is presently dispensing a narrative to serve as a pretext for a pre-emptive strike against Russia. That harpie Psaki has laid out an entire scenario purportedly learned by American “intelligence” of a false flag attack that Russia is to make against its own forces which will then counter strike and invade Ukraine. Of course, Washington will have to either blunt that attack or deliver what it considers punishment.
Looks like WWIII may commence before the Olympics get under way. I tell you Washington is so hyped up with war fever it may well open multiple fronts against Russia thinking it can actually gain a quick “victory.” Hell, Washington may simply blow off any “defense” of Ukraine and simply attack Russia proper. They seem so cocky watch out for a surprise EMP blast to wipe out Russia’s power grid. You may recall that Obama and Biden actually threatened something like that during their previous administration when they accused Russia of cyberwarfare against Vermont’s grid. This may well be the “time and place of their choosing” that they threatened. Psaki and her bosses are acting too manic right now to be trusted not to try for a first strike win. It’s like something they’ve been itching to do and the time is now come. Don’t let them get away with it.
You’ve raised a good point. Just yesterday the Ukraine administration was allegedly hit by a massive cyber attack – very convenient. Followed up by the US being “concerned” :
https://tass.com/world/1388547
and NATO getting involved:
“NATO, Kiev to sign agreement on enhanced cyber cooperation within days — NATO chief
The agreement will also include Ukrainian access to NATO’s malware information sharing platform…..”
https://tass.com/world/1388351
All very convenient timing and remember – Ukraine isn’t a NATO member but is now being integrated into its cyber platform.
Another angle being prepared to start a war with Ukraine.
Just as the Russian led initiative at the UN on cyber crime is postponed with no new dates:
https://tass.com/politics/1388545
“The start of negotiations about a convention on combating cybercrime, scheduled for January in New York, had been postponed indefinitely, according to Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna Mikhail Ulyanov said…..”
The Ukrainian government is more stupid than the West. If they knew from politicians they would know that …
The US is a teacher in how to abandon its “allies”.
It has been shown many times and in many countries.
If Russia wants to fight multiple wars along its borders including in the Ukraine – the Caucasus – Kazakhstan or the far eastern regions, it’s her choice. The money-controller empire of the West will be more than happy to make the Russians busy for long time, until she becomes too weak and vulnerable . The best course of action which also represents a long-term solution would be the recreation of a new OPEC organization that functions under financial and security cooperation of Russia- Iran and China with all the other oil-exporting countries participating. If the West wants to buy oil/gas he or she must purchase it through this independent financial network of the Neo-OPEC led by China-Iran and Russia. This creative solution surely will tame the lunatic Western Money Empire on long-term basis.
I am not sure this isn’t all theatre. I mean what true contest is there in a world where 193 nations sign up for a treaty called The International Health Guidelines which is currently empowered to rule our entire lives? Where is the contest when they all agree to strip us of our rights in sync?
I call bullshit on international affairs commentary absent reckoning of the above fact.
You are commenting on a heavy censored gatekeeper/disinfo outlet of the beast system. What do you expect?
I’m 99% convinced the best bet would be US bases in the Middle East. You can do that in the Middle East solely concentrated on US interests without the small riff raff Nato interests getting in the way (I mean it’s harder to use for propaganda purposes).
Train up and arm Iranian militias. There seems to be the urge to kick the US out but maybe not means. Iran also just published a video of a new solid fuel rocket with thrust vectoring, which inevitably means more efficiency to satellite launches and ballistic missiles (video). Maybe (or maybe not) there’s some joint-development going on?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t27-sVHWp0s
I also saw literal pictures taken by a Russian drone in Eastern Syria – some US APCs were protecting oil smuggling trucks from Syria to Iraq. They do not legally exist there, they are free game to take out! At least closest to “free game” you can get these days.
Here is my take on possible actions of Russia after receiving that written rejection next week:
1) Putin announces that risks for Russia from USA/NATO exceeded a threshold, so he allows Russia millitarry to utilize strategical and tactical nuclear weapons.
2) Then Putin announces that several 300 mt thermonuclear charges are placed near east and west coast of the USA and ready to be detonated any moment – per estimates, it would bring the end to the country.
3) As a demonstation that this is serious, a small charge of 5 kt is exploded in Atlantic ocean neutral waters with effects observable on the east coast.
4) Russia agrees to remove the thermonuclear charges if NATO pulls form its borders.
5) Wait for this all to sink in…
So, this would be a lawful act (maybe some treaty should be pulled from before..), but it would create an existential risk to the USA… with some proof of it fully available to the public…
Russia should be more proactive in the information space, she always appears to be reactionary and letting the 4th Reich dictate the propaganda war. I would second the breaking of diplomatic ties with all Russophobic countries and when the U.S./E.U. starts with the next round of sanctions, Russia can place penalties of her own aside from the obvious oil & gas. Restrictions on titanium would have the added bonus of hobbling U.S. defense contractors.
As an aside, perhaps Russia could leak that it is considering placing Club K (shipping container edition) cruise missiles in Cuba or even in the U.S. itself for deployment if NATO is so stupid to launch a preemptive strike. The War Party might just take it as credible, unmarked shipping containers used as launch platforms ….the evil genius!
Removed. Stop promotion of other sites as per Saker site rules. Just attach the link to the original news article. Mod. A piece quoting Tass, where Ukraine announced it was going to have to siphon (steal) gas this winter due to the low gas reserves in Ukraine. Russia could simply announce that should Ukraine steal ( siphon) gas meant for Europe that action would require Russia to shut off the gas supply. That sounds like a legal remedy to theft of a product. That would show Europe that with friends like Ukraine who needs enemies. Let Europe freeze and gauge the reaction of the population.
It’s not their stupidity, it’s their mentality.
You see, the americans are brainwashed from the kindergarden in such ways, that they literally can’t imagine losing a war. And this affects their way of thinking in a ways that are hard for the rest of the world to imagine, simply because the americans aren’t psychologically equipped to deal with a defeat.
Indeed, there were a lot of disasters, that plagued the americans in the middle east recently, but the population and elites in the U.S. proper were well shielded from the reality by their presstitutes. As for Vietnam and Korea, well, those are considered by everyone there as ancient history, if it’s considered at all.
This mentality is a tremendous disadvantage in three ways.
First, when their political leaders decide to use military force, they never think to ask themselves what the consequences might be, if they’re defeated. At worst, they think that they may not get the kind of victory they desire. It quite literally never occurs to them that their actions may risk America’s standing with the rest of the world, or even America’s very survival as a country.
Second, once they’re on the warpath, their political leaders don’t have the option of backing out, if they fail to achieve their objectives quickly. To even mention the possibility of backing out is a guaranteed end of a political career, or worse, because the american’s mentality is such that they can’t tolerate even the semblance of defeat. So, once committed, they’ll keep trying to achieve victory even when the only rational decision is to withdraw. Escalation has always worked for the americans in the past, or, to be more precise, escalation has never caused them to lose, and, as result, it’s the only thing they know how to do.
Third, since the american miltary officers are trained to expect victory, they have no idea how to use a losing situation to their own benefit. The kind of leadership that plays for time, frustrates the opposing/occupying forces, postpones an inevitable defeat until the enemy is ready to grant generous terms in order to limit his own ongoing losses – the americans know nothing of this, because all their training blinds them to it.
So I consider it highly probable that the U.S. will try to engage Russia and escalate, but unless the escalation reaches “После нами, только тишина” level, U.S. will end up either defeated, or suing for peace (much less likely, since there aren’t any rational people left in the U.S. government circles).
Right, there is a factor of American superiority as cultural phenomen impacting politics quite a lot.
The mass media is intentionally hiding that fact that Russia is threatening the USA and presenting it as if Russia is a danger to Ukraine only… And the reason is that this is _unimaginable_ to a common american that the USA could be threatened…
The serious issue is that those “common americans” now in the positions where real analytical skills and realism is needed. Like all financial markets are asleep with all their analysts who supposed to read and watch the sources..
I think it will be very harsh awekening very soon.. some sort of mental breakdown of a “common american”:
* Shock and denial.
* Anger and bargaining. …
* Depression. …
* Acceptance and hope – > this is where Putin will get what he wants..
Does the submission of the ukrops war crimes to ICJ give any moral or practical leverage to Russia that would enable maybe at a further tipping point some kind of RTP action? Could say a weekly military report published by eg Gerasomiv Shoigu exactly detailing the supply lines…chains of commands….movements…capabilities..satellite
Info…locations of yraining camps and instructors etc…..kinda show the west we are keeping a very very beady.eye on you( and imply of course what is targeted)……??
Would Russia withdraw or suspend membership from PACE OSCE….(would love some assessment of OSCE of their viability and internal power struggles checks and balances…their mantra…capabilities or lack of etc etc Rusdia hoping but not believing they will come to their collective senses….)…Pres Putin still seems to be desiring if not pushing for big 5 UNSC meetings big thrash out….would UN become more of a concentric focus by Russia in the event of non commital by USA EU Nato OSCE- despite not being able to proceed and succeed with no more Nazi type resolutions and endless HRights committees etc continually denigrating Russia?
Dear Saker,
Why do you say “elites”?
“Élites” don’t mean the reachest or the most powerfull, or ruling or leader.
Elite mean: the best.
Thanks God, they’re not the best at all.
In France, thirty years ago, noboby would dare to use the word “élite” to speak of richest ou ruling people. Elite was reserved for sport champions, great scientists, artistes or intellectuals. That was all.
It’s near 20 years ago that ruling classes, politics, economics and mediatics(specialy mediatics) began ro speak about themselves as “élites”.
It’s an incredible semantic fraud.
And that work.
Now, even an opponent like Andreï use this word “élite” to speak about rabid, coward, stupid and non-educate politiciens, advisers and journalists.
Platon said : ” corruption of city begin by the fraud on words”
To the commentators discussing various options that Russia has:
– Please explain how any of those would make NATO and US pull back and agree to non-expansion (briefly).
– Second, please – for every Russian move you propose, list one retaliatory move by the West. This will give a clearer picture of what is realistic and probable.
Thanks!
I think that any formal alliance between Russia, China (and India) would be more than enough. It would automatically change the calculus of power for good and compel the West to balance between two extremely powerful fronts. Second, it would be hard for them to reciprocate because they are already tied in all kinds of NATO-like gangs.
Formal alliance including India is not yet possible.
By feigning a tilt to the west, India made much progress in both its security and economic situation.
Kashmir was solved on a strategic level without CNN instigating the arabs who supply india’s oil.
The border issue with China is real but not important at all. I think it is exaggerated just to hoodwink the USA.
India will make an obvious move to side with Russia when Russia sees such a need.
Losing Pakistan in the hope of gaining India was a big mistake US made.
Jacob’s Ladder,
For careful observer of what is going on and which words are used where, it could be clear about the path ahead.
Putin in conversation with Biden several time emphasized that NATO is closing and threatening the motherland. If you know Putin, it has very importnant personal meaning to him. So, from the conversation from Biden, one can derive that the threat will be directed at the USA territory directly and it will be a threat with which the USA cannot just live… Putin would make the threat public as the whole process was… so this threat will be unberable to the public of the USA and the goverment will need to act. But it will have 2 options : surrended and pull NATO off or start a nuclear attack. The latter case is what Russia is prepared as its defence weapons was rolled out at the end of 2021 to address this option. So this would be suicide for the USA…
Thanks, but I don’t think that a nuclear threat is a serious option – what would stop the USA from making a counter-threat? We shall destroy Moscow, St. Petersburg etc. The two countries have a parity and Russia would never threaten the first strike (at least publicly).
I also don’t believe an alliance with China is a possibility at the moment – but would be nice.
Jacob’s Ladder,
That is the issue with your assumptions. You assume that the nuclear weapons are in the balance or parity as before, but this is not the case anymore – it could be a surpise for many, yes. For the last several years, Russia made significant advances in defensive and offensive weapons which are not well publicised in western media as it would mean creating a weaker view of the USA. Only side effects like pull out of Afganistan, etc. provide some hints… Also, if you hear what and HOW Russia is saying – Russia is ready to risk a nuclear war now.
Basically, Trident nuclear missiles in the USA are balistic and outdated, like 30-40 year old. The modern Russian defense system can intercept those – S-500, S-550, the question would more about the density of the missiles coming… as you would need many S-400/S-500/S-550 deployed…
The USA has zero defense though, one 1-2 explosions will destroy infratsructure and the folks are back to real antiutopian movie set…
Perhaps you’re right – it could be that they are trying to stop Russia because she’s so far ahead. I doubt that President Putin would countenance a nuclear strike if he’s reluctant to liberate East Ukraine. Let’s wait and see.
First: nobody, absolutly nobody planned that Russia will take Crimea back. It was a total(and very Bad for West) surprise.
There was no effiscient Replay from west.
Second: in septembre 2014, nobody planned neither that ventorg came from Russia could totaly destroy the victorious ukies army. I remender the suffocating rage and surprise of west “experts”. There was no effiscient reply from west
Third: nobody expected turkish stream instead of southstream. There was no effiscient reply from west.
Forth: nobody could think that Russia, just month After Turks shot one of their plane, killing pilot, could give a hand to Erdogan and prevent an US driven coup.
Fifth: nobody though it was possible that Russia and China become allies
There was no effiscient reply from west.
Six: nobody expected russians in Syria.
There was no effiscient reply from west.
Then I think that Russia will surprise everybody in its next moves.
Do you think that west will have an effiscient reply?
Let me question that.
Russia took the Crimea – but the West took the heart of the Russian world, Ukraine.
Voentorg was too little too late – over 15000 Russians plus all military commanders of Novorossia have been killed and the people of Donbas are suffering terribly while Russia is helpless to save them.
Turkish stream – what about South Stream II?
Turkey shot down planes, killed the Russian ambassador, worked against Russia at every step – Russia stopped importing their tomatoes. The rumours about the coup have not been confirmed.
Russia and China – US, Germany and Japan have been enemies and are now the best of pals. Russia and China are great friends by comparison.
I think you are ignoring 30 years of ceaseless push on Russia which has completely destroyed any buffers, treaties and squeezed Russia’s manoeuvring space to a minimum. If I started listing what the West has achieved… It has become united for the first time in its long history – and fully and completely against Russia – what more do I need to add? Let’s hope Russia proves worthy of its greatness.
Thank you
Are you serious? If yes, it’s Time to see a doctor.
15000 Russians killed?
People who suffer in Donbass and Russians Can Do nothing for them? They just pay energy, health and pensions.
But in the rest ok Ukrain, neither USA or UE seem to can or want help the poor Ukrainian people. Weapons, yes, Monney, no.
It’s all the argument you have for trolling this place?
About US that came in “Heart” of Russia, thank you for recognizing that USA was behind the coup in 2014. And you Can see that Ukrainians are very much happier that then. So much that 8 millions of them have emigrate. 5 millions in the very bad Russia.
You Can notice it was the last succes of USA: Syria, faibles, Irak, failed, Afghanistan, failed, Armenia, failed, Bielarus, failed, Kazakhstan, failed, Kirghizistan, failed,Venezuela, failed, but also, Hong Kong, failed, No succes since 2015
But I don’t know why I feed the troll
Sorry, should have said 15000 Russian speakers. You are not thinking clearly. If things were as you say, Russia wouldn’t be compelled to issue ultimatums.
Both of you are somewhat correct. Russia lost Ukraine but this triggered huge changes and consolidation which made Russia much stronger and prepared. So after the first shock, it was ready for Belarus and Kazahstan and rumped up millitary readiness..
The only thing I am suprised in this event is that it happened in 2021… My estimates were that Russia would need at least a few more year to make such a move to complete rollout of weapons manifacturing, but aparently something triggered Putin to move forward now… some non-public factors.. this year would go into history books… but afraid not from very positive side…
Russia never “had” Ukraine. The East of Ukraine, yes. But most of the rest of Ukraine has always been Ukraine, not Russia.
Check history and check demographics (Russian-speakers vs Ukraine loyalists). Except for the two oblasts, the Russian speakers are in the minority, some places the vast minority. Thus, no uprisings when Donbass rose up against the Maidan.
Crimea was on loan to Ukraine and always was Russian and Russia. 95% Russian.
Moscow lost influence in Ukraine, but, in actuality, Ukraine was separated from RF in 1991. The Maidan was 2014. Quarter century of work to boil up hatred and direct the military and Intel services to wage an ethnic cleansing war.
Russia halted the carnage and froze the conflict.
The RF economy could not take on Ukraine, so conquering it was out of the question. The military was planning to go to Syria if necessary and it became necessary.
So, in reality, like with Serbia in 1999, the Russians could not be heroes. They were not strong enough in 1999 nor in 2014. They did what they could.
Meanwhile, Ukraine is a monster of a problem for the stability of Europe. It either will pass tens of millions of refugees into Europe or it will bring a war to Europe which quite likely will cost the Baltics, huge chunks of Poland and Romania, finish off Moldova and Georgia and mess up Scandinavia if they get stupid and partake.
The Russians will fight the war with missiles, air dominance and drones. It won’t be a wide ground war.
If navies get involved, the losses to NATO will be catastrophic and that will change the balance of world power.
Picture the US without its alliances. That’s the end product of a war in Ukraine.
The US is playing arsonist not with matches but with a lit fuse on a bundle of dynamite.
Asymmetric response / Enforcement for peace, truth and justice
Russia/New Russian Empire (the United States is also an empire, like the PRC – despite all sorts of isms) will first show the insignificance of the United States in the military-technical sphere.
Then he will move on to his project, supported by China, the construction of “Greater Eurasia”
by actively exporting peace, security, sovereignty throughout the planet,
including and on a commercial basis.
It seems to me that in the near future, Small Britain, Schlucht (Poland) and the pro-Balts (Pibaltic ex-republics of the USSR) will be included in the list of hostile countries …. possibly the United States, it now depends on their behavior.
“The Russians are a victorious and liberating people who defeated all the great conquerors (Genghisides, the Swedish Charles, who conquered half of Europe, the Ottoman Turks, the French Napoleon, and the German Hitler, and ..) and liberated Europe.
And now frees the world from the Western hegemony of the United States.
Russians are a super-ethnos of traditional values, outstanding cultural openness, and racism is absolutely alien to them.
We will always fight to keep people human.
PS
Americans are not people! and not even a nation, which today’s events clearly confirm. Therefore, they cannot exist without wars and a world external enemy. Here, to fight, or rather to engage in genocide, Russia will no longer allow the United States.
National Idea of the New Russian Empire” “Russia is the main supplier of the world’s main supplier of peace and freedom of peoples”.

“…However, I think that Russia allowed the color revolution attempt to happen…”
Yes, I agree. I posted before on that very issue, Russian troops were ready to go, planes were loaded, engines on warming up, just waiting for the orders. Russian intel knew what was coming, allowed it to unfold, once the orcs were all out and CSTO got the call from the Kazakh government (it was expected), they pounced. It’s an old Russian strategy, allow the enemy to penetrate, show its strength, expand, then hit it.

I think Russia wants to have the world looking at Ukraine when at last the defense speaks in the MH17 trial in the Netherlands. I read in my Dutch newspaper a snippet from the case of the prosecution that PROVES the accused are innocent. One of them called in an intercepted telephone call to Crimea demanding a BUK missile launcher the next day because otherwise the rebellion would be defeated, at a time the ground attack capability of the Ukie air force was being defeated by the use of shoulder launched weapons. BUK launchers could easily have been targeted by Ukie artillery. They couldn’t have been used by the “rebels”.
Three days after the Joint Investigation Team was set up it was given blinkers – Kiev was included because it would be able to collect and translate Ukrainian and Russian spoken and written texts and translate them without the need for the other members to check on it, according to my newspaper at the time.
Who suggested to The Hague to include Kiev? What did Biden know and when did he know it?
Perhaps not completely stupid. Much of the potential area of conflict is marsh, and the air temperature can go to -30 or -40C when the frozen layer of marsh is still only a few cm thick, and certainly not capable of supporting the weight of tanks, artillery etc. Failure of the Red Army to appreciate this led to, arguably, to its most humiliating defeat before the 1980’s, the battle of Suomussalmi in 1939-1940. The Finns destroyed the lead vehicles of a huge armoured column with up-to-the-minute equipment, and when the Soviet tanks tried to go off the two-lane blacktop road, they sank into the marsh. Destruction of the rear vehicles meant that the column was immobilised, and could be destroyed at leisure. So detailed meteorological data is needed to know when the marshes are solid enough to support tanks etc..
True, but…we are not in 1939-1940, and Saker clarified those issues in his above article.
Here they are again.
“…While the leaders of the (already dead) Empire are consulting meteorologists (or even astrologists?), they are completely missing the basic reality of modern warfare. These seem to be especially unaware of three basic facts:
– Modern warfare is primarily conducted with long range, standoff, weapons and this makes maneuver by fire far more important than maneuver by forces.
– Modern warfare places a huge importance on integrated air defenses working together under automated battle management systems. Modern air defense missiles can shoot down targets several hundred of kilometers away. No western air defense system can stop hypersonic weapons.
– Modern warfare is primarily non-linear, that is to say that it is more like soccer than like US football: each player (say a battalion tactical group) “follows/opposes” another player rather than trying to hold a line and defend territory.
Those who think that Putin is preparing a WWII style attack simply don’t understand modern warfare at all.”
——————————————-
If the Russian tanks and artillery cannot move, neither can NATO/Ukronazis. Full stop.
However, Zircon, Kalibr, missiles, UAVs and Poseidon UUVs can move at will. I would suggest you take another look at the article above. WWII mindset cannot comprehend the dimensions of modern war.

“That might have the last of the “color revolutions,” ” (Sorry, I meant “That might have been…”)
In central Asia maybe the last, but what about Balkans – Serbia and Serbian Republic (Република Српска) in Bosnia?
—————————————–
The signs are there for everyone to see.
1) Are those countries with multi-vector policies?
2) Does the NED, read CIA, works with NGOs in the country?
3) Are those countries sitting on the fence between Russia/China/other countries with independent foreign policy, and the West?
4) Do they have political parties advocating a Western alignment?
5) Are those countries social/economic weaknesses easy to exploit?
There are many more signs on the road to “color revolutions,” they are more visible now than at the time of, let’s say, “the Velvet Revolution” or others that follow. Other factors have been added, for example, the use of taqfiris in Muslim countries, now that they are in abundance and unemployed, getting kicked out of Syria and Iraq, having no jobs in Afghanistan. They were the core of the offensive in Kazakhstan, however, they were easily tackled at the onset. Their MO needs some new tricks, they seem to be running out of them.

Convenient vulcano eruption today.

Or is it just a “natural” event? :)
The wave height on the islands is 1m, 1000mm. )))
I think it’s a natural event. A loving God would not harm His own children on purpose.

In Iran maybe otherwwise in Latin America as Saker says it will not happen, not necessary as Russia can target if necessary the US from home, no US def system can stop Hypersonic missiles.
Look at this Finnish article from an atlanticist paper
https://www.helsinkitimes.fi/columns/columns/viewpoint/20791-vladimir-putin-is-not-the-neville-chamberlain-the-us-nato-is-looking-for.html
”Some US hawks liken the situation to Munich in 1938, and they’re not wrong — but they’ve reversed the roles. It’s NATO that’s gobbled up Czechoslovakia after Czechoslovakia, and Vladimir Putin whom they’re trying to cast as Neville Chamberlain. He seems disinclined to accept the role.
We may be closer to large-scale war between “great powers” now than at any time since 1945, this time with nuclear weapons ready at hand. Expecting Putin to bail the US and NATO out of a bad situation of their own making with abject submission isn’t a strategy for peace, it’s a recipe for disaster.”
LMAO its seems the western ”powers” are trying save their pathetic faces
I’ve been mulling the following for some time, since the ultimatim came out. If you’re fighting the AngloZionist Empire, attack the weakest part: the Zionist part. I can see at least three levels of the pain dial:
Level one. Give Kornets (anti-tank weapons) to Hezbollah, who will station them at the Lebanon/Israel border. If the US can send Javelins to the Ukraine, then Russia can send Kornets to an anti-Israel organization. A Javelin costs $175,000, according to Wikipedia, while a Kornet costs $6200. Can you guess which side can do more damage?
Level two. Station nuclear missiles at the Russian naval base in Syria (Tartus). The Iskanders should work well.
Level three. Place Poseidons off the shores of New York City and Los Angeles (Hollywood); both places are infested with Zionists. And announce that the torpedos are there.
More intense pain is possible. I’m sure I can’t think of everything; any ideas?
@ Cyril on January 15, 2022
“Level one. Give Kornets (anti-tank weapons) to Hezbollah…”
They already have them, transferred by Syria, used them with proficient effectiveness during the “2006 Summer War” against Merkava tanks.
What Hezbollah needs is Verba 9K333 Man-Portable Air Defence System (MANPADS), ten of those would be a good beginning.
https://www.army-technology.com/projects/verba-9k333-man-portable-air-defence-system-manpads/
They wouldn’t mind a couple of TOS-1 Buratino MLRS, always counting on Russian generosity. If that’s not possible for logistic reasons, then a few RPO-A Shmel’ man-portable rocket launchers would fit the bill.

Two days after the “negotiations” he chose to show the Russians the middle finger plus a loud FY for everyone to hear. Haven’t seen or heard anything from the Russian side, besides the Avia-net.pro report.

Like in #Iraq before 2003, the #US filled up the world with lies about Weapons of Mass Destruction. The same scenario is repeated with #Ukraine, mountain the media campaign against #Russia.
However, there is one difference here: you are dealing with Vladimir Putin.
The #US is mounting the pressure, pushing Europe to confront #Russia.
First #Ukraine, then #Georgia:
On Monday 17 January 2022, the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, will meet with the Deputy Prime Minister and MF of Georgia, Mr. David Zalkaliani, at NATO Headquarters
There is no war party in the US. There is a huge “We need more defense spending” party. Wars are ancillary to this goal. Policy in the US is made by politicians (of both parties) who serve donors. The donors want profits. Profits come from defense spending. A high degree of fear and tension is necessary to justify defense spending. War with a major power is not necessary and is economically counterproductive for the profiteers. Russia will not attack Ukraine unless Ukraine attacks the Donbass. The US will not give the green light to such an attack. However tension, wild charges, statements, and gestures will continue indefinitely. But the chances of a major war are very low.
Hiring astrologists instead of meterologists might have been an more practical option :-)
Common sense and self-preservation go mainstream in Washington, D.C.: capitulation to Russian demands becomes discussable.
…It is astounding that none of the major Western media picked up the fact in front of their noses: that on the pretext of an invasion they had no intention of staging, the Russians had succeeded in lining up high level meetings with the United States and its NATO allies to discuss total revisions to the security architecture in Europe, something which was the laugh of the town when first proposed by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in 2008-2009 and led to nothing back then….
I would call this the first Psy-ops success scored by Moscow. The second success was the admission by the United States, the United Kingdom and France in the run-up to the meetings in Geneva and Brussels that they would not send a single soldier to help defend the Ukrainians if they were invaded! This was the loudest possible signal to Kiev to sober up its rabid nationalist militias and forget entirely using their shiny new U.S. military gear to stage the genocide and ethnic cleansing of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions that remain in open rebellion against the central authorities. Was this foreseeable on the part of Joe Biden, who had been inciting the Georgian president Saakashvili to similar folly of recovering rebel provinces by force of arms in the face of Russian opposition? No, it resulted directly from some folks on Capitol Hill knowing what’s what with respect to comparative U.S. and Russian military strength, capabilities and will in Russia’s Near Abroad today. Victory two for Psy-ops!
Now today I am delighted to share with readers an article just published by The National Interest in Washington urging what would be, in effect, total capitulation to Russian demands for NATO’s downsizing. I am especially delighted that the author’s lever for his argumentation is precisely the definition of “military technical means” that I have provided to an otherwise clueless community of Russia experts in the U.S. and Western Europe. It is all set out on page one of his essay.
https://nationalinterest.org/feature/biden%E2%80%99s-opportunity-peace-eurasia-199344
That this was dynamite is confirmed by its immediately being reposted by a news portal in Latvia, which would be one of the countries whose anti-Russian, pro-American government would be finished, kaput should the recommendations in this article be implemented.

Well, it doesn’t look like war is coming! :-)
Thanks, that was a scoop. I was hoping for some sensible heads inside the Beltway, and there are some. This article has been seen by many at different levels of the political/military establishment before publication, even though Mr. Pyne appears as the sole author. Now we wait for the reception, then the reaction, maybe it makes its way to the people in charge of issuing a response to Russia’s proposals.
Doctorow is feeling vindicated.

That National Interest article is almost as demented as Joe Biden himself, as it proposes that Biden could not only create a new era of détente with both Russia and China, but Biden could even win a Nobel Peace Prize as a result (much like his former boss, Barack Obama).
This is either wishful (self-)delusion or–worse still–a calculated psyops to disarm any political questioning of America’s motives.
It’s Barack Obama-style “Hope and Change that You (Can’t) Believe In” propaganda, now recycled for Obama’s former flunky/VP, Joe Biden.
Essentially, that article advocates America start respecting Russian and Chinese “spheres of influence” as part of a grand bargain–even though Biden himself explicitly stated recently that the USA does not acknowledge spheres of influence in general.
Except of course for America’s sphere of influence, which is the entire planet. See the Pentagon Doctrine of Full Spectrum Dominance…..
The Biden Administration remind me of Rome under Nero.
Total madness.
A one point he was going to take a group of actors and sing to an advancing enemy force.
Or Roman Emperor Caligula who made his horse a Senator.
When will the US Praetorian Guard put an end to this madness ?

2-consulting the USGS website (iris. edu.seismon), there is nothing recorded above 4.2. On the European page for the same purpose (earthquakes – EMSC), same thing.
3-the monitoring link of the Tsunami warning buoys of the Nooa indicate great fluctuation throughout the Pacific Ocean, the buoys ” jumping” up and down at a worthy amplitude.
4-I watched at least five times on several sites the satellite images (frame by frame photomontages) of the volcanic explosion, if it seemed to me in some that there are four sides of expansion, which is not normal in this type of event.
5 – there have been no deaths recorded so far, only material damage.
Therefore, it is at least strange this event, I would say, perhaps, a Posseidon test, there are many events occurring in Cascade to not take this possibility into account.

USA has been infiltrated at the highest level. Not everyone is awake here, but many many are and they just don’t know what to do about the situation. The elections are highjacked, local governments are not as strong as they could be or should be. If the USA isn’t careful, it will end up like Australia which is close to falling.
“USA has been infiltrated at the highest level.”
This is a theme that is prevalent right around the world right now, and IMO it transcends the (very ill-advised) sabre-rattling around the peripheries of both Russia and China. Which is more of a threat, the manufactured enemy without, or the entrenched enemy within?
The world is already at war – the big unanswered question in my mind is how does the new “Cold War” (which might easily become hot) mesh in with the simultaneous and increasingly overt war on liberty being waged by the likes of Klaus Schwab and his Globalist brethren entrenched in governments, media and industry across the entire planet?
Wheels within wheels – but who is being played by who, and who is controlling the game?
“If the USA isn’t careful, it will end up like Australia which is close to falling.”
You got that right. We are already at war, and – despite their righteous capacity to wipe us all out in a matter of hours if they felt so compelled – it’s not Russia or China that have us worried.
