The documentary maker almost got shot by one recruit during a move and shoot exercise (at around 29:29) O_O.
You can readily tell Motorola doesn’t have time to whip his militia into shape going by the book. But those recruits that survive the training and early weeks/months of fighting will certainly make for a tough outfit with the other veterans in the unit.
Contrast this video with the one with Georgian/Israeli instructors teaching some Ukrainian Special Forces shooting techniques.
It looks like an interesting docu. I started it, but don’t have time to watch it now, maybe later today or tomorrow. Interesting that they had the music of “Louna” playing after that first training exercise shown. :)
Finished watching. Decent documentary. One complaint, the strobe light subtitles – leave them on the screen a little longer. One interesting part was the guy talking about at least one person from every Russian town should go to Donbas to get experience to bring back, since a much worse war is expected soon and that experience will be needed.
I thought that the live ammo training exercises were amazing. It just goes on to show you how tough the reality is for the people of the Donbass and the heroes of the Novorussia armed forces!
I agree with some other posters that the subtitles should move a bit slower.
you gotta laugh at some of those subtitles, but thank you Kazzura
