For starters, a quick reminder here is what the Anglo propaganda machine claims:
Okay, then one of two things will happen tomorrow:
- Option 1: nothing happens
- Option 2: something happens
Option 1: If nothing happens, then, as Lavrov has spelled out recently, the Biden Administration will have to declare that “led by the glorious and invincible USA, and fully united against the Russian aggression, the West has deterred Putin from his bloodthirsty plans“. The problem with this version is that considering the abject and cowardly flight from all the western embassies and organizations to Lvov or even the EU, it will be hard to explain how such a panicked flight has “deterred Putin”. Only ignorant and terminally stupid people could take that kind of self-evident nonsense seriously.
The most hilarious part of this option will be that the Ukronazis will ALSO want the title of “defender of the Western White Civilization” and they will claim that it was *their* glorious and invincible military which deterred Putin and saved the western civilization from the looting Asiatic hordes.
As for (the always constipated and terrified looking) Jens Stoltenberg, he has already declared that the end of the Russian military exercises proves nothing: they, the Russians could have pre-positioned equipment near the Ukie border and that they can come back in a blink of an eye. Yes, that imbecile still thinks that he will see thousands Russian tanks stream across the border like some historical recreation of a famous 20th century tank battle…
As for the geniuses at the CIA, they are probably still modeling whether the weather tomorrow will freeze or not (apparently, they think that Ukie weather conditions can limit Russian tank operations).
So if nothing happens, the end result will be victory for Russia
Option 2: If something happens, the West will blame it on Russia, irrespective of whatever actually happened. Then the verbiage will change to “lead by the glorious USA, and fully united against the Russian aggression, the West will impose sanctions from hell on Russia and stand by the heroic people of the Ukraine“. The minor problem here is that the West has already imposed pretty much all the sanctions it could and they only made the Russian economy prosper. The much bigger problem with that option will be that this will ruin the EU’s economy, something which the US leaders of the Empire not only want, but desperately need. But that is also something that will have a truly devastating impact on the EU’s economy and political atmosphere.
Here again, one of two things can happen:
- Option 3: the LDNR holds the line with minimal Russian support (C4ISTAR) and maybe a no-fly zone (which Russia can impose without moving gear into the LDNR or without even leaving Russian airspace).
- Option 4: the Anglo provocation leaves Russia no option but to openly intervene.
If option 3 happens, this will be a true triumph for Russia and a nightmare come true for the West.
Is it possible? I think that yes, it is (I discuss that here).
However, we cannot make that assumption, and we need to look at the consequences of option 4.
Option 4: if Russia is forced to intervene, then two things will happen simultaneously:
- The US and NATO will have succeeded in their goals to force Russia to intervene and
- The West will recoil in terror once it sees what the Russian military actually can do
So if something forces Russia to intervene tomorrow (or in the future), this will be a triumph for the Anglos, a disaster for the EU, and a political defeat for Russia.
For Russia this will be an easy military victory, but which will come at a cost, including:
- Military and civilian losses
- Russia will have to pay for the rebuilding of any part of the Ukraine she liberates
- Russia will have to maintain law and order in any part of the Ukraine she liberates.
- Russia will have to feed, treat and otherwise sustain all the Ukie civilians she liberates.
- The Nazis in Kiev and the Neocons in DC will have a great opportunity to blame all their crises (plural) on Russia.
- By liberating x% of the Ukraine, Russia will “place across the Russian border” many anti-Nazi Ukrainians who will become less of the problem and potential threat to the Nazis in Kiev. The Banderista ideology will reach a new level in the parts of the Ukraine that Russia won’t liberate (for whatever reason).
And, of course, the EU will also pay very real costs, economically of course (how do you think the markets will react to a real war in the Ukraine?), but also socially and politically. But there is absolutely nothing the EU’s “great supine protoplasmic invertebrate jellies” (to use BoJo’s very apt expression) will be able to do about it. They will know that they have been screwed, but they won’t be able to do anything about it. The words which Putin recently addressed to the Ukrainians (“You don’t like it? You really don’t like it? Well, endure my darling, just endure it!“) might as well be addressed to the EU too!
After all, if the Europeans have no self-respect, why should anybody in Russia show them any respect?
Here is something absolutely crucial which we have to keep in mind regardless of what happens tomorrow or not:
The West has *ALREADY* FLED THE UKRAINE!
That “Kabul moment” has already happened.
And that shameful flight has already proven beyond any reasonable doubts that:
- Russia is militarily stronger than the US+NATO and all the western threats are just that, empty threats. The “real truth” is that the US and NATO fear the Russian military.
- That nobody will fight for the Ukraine and that all the promises made to the Ukraine in the past three decades by the West were every bit as false as all the promises made to Russia in the same past three decades. The AngloZionist Empire will go down in history as the “Empire of hypocrisy and lies”.
- NATO is a paper tiger whose sole purpose is to “keep the Germans down and the Yanks in” but it simply does not have the means to “keep the Russians out”. Good thing that Russia wants nothing to do with the EU. Let the EU “have fun” with immigration, trannies, poverty, COVID-repressions, civil protests, etc. etc. etc.
- The US wants to further impose its domination of Europe, including by selling the EU energy at vastly inflated prices. They are willing to set the Ukraine ablaze and let the EU spiral down into an unrecoverable spin.
The US IT giants are already imposing an informational blockade on the Donbass, and we can be assured that the western free media will print exactly what it will be told to print. So initially, those who still pay attention to the western propaganda outlets will get a totally false image of what is really happening.
But this is the age of the smartphone and there is only so long that the rulers of Zone A can maintain their informational great wall before the truth beings seeping in.
It was easy to lie about MH-17, the Skripals, Navalnyi or Ghouta. But in Kabul there were too many people out there, and too many of them had cellphones with cameras (even primitive cheap cameras were good enough for the job). And so the massive US faceplant in Kabul became famous worldwide.
There are even many more cellphones in Banderastan and the LDNR, so Uncle Shmuel won’t be able to shove it all down under the carpet and pretend like “all is well, we control the situation”.
If/when the provocation/attack happens in the LDNR, it will be impossible to stop the steady trickle of info coming from the LDNR and cracks will start to appear in the West’s propaganda. That, in turn, will result in even more finger pointing, threats, accusations, lies and all the rest of the verbal vomit the western propaganda outlets have been churning out for years, centuries and even millennia.
Finally, we have to assume that all the EU/NATO governments, including the US one, will crackdown on dissent and will engage in a systematic campaign to repress and silence anybody daring to disobey their orders. Things will get uglier and uglier, especially with hyperinflation and stagflation kicking in. Putin even warned about food riots but, of course, nobody in the West heeded his warning (not listening to anything Putin says is considered the height of political acumen in the West).
A final warning: we can’t let the tree hide the forest!
The Ukraine is not, repeat, NOT, what Russia is concerned about. Russia wants a new, multi-polar, international order which would include a new collective security architecture in Europe.
So whatever happens, or does not happen, tomorrow, this will be just one date after which none of the key issues will be resolved (no, Russia has no intention of “solving” the Ukrainian problem by invasion, that is total nonsense).
So while the deadline for a provocation is somewhere between “any second now, tomorrow or maybe in a few days”, the process of reforming the security architecture of Europe will be much longer, several months at the least, and it will be peppered with more flareups and crises (real or imagined).
In conclusion, I ask you all, the readers and commentators, NOT to come to some conclusions, any conclusions really, tomorrow or in the next couple of days. First, you won’t have access even to the minimal info needed to reach any conclusions, second, you will be proactively targeted by western PSYOPs to prevent your mind from making it into Zone A and, third, even if tomorrow will be a battle of some sorts, informational and/or kinetic, but the game is far, very far, from over.
We will only be able to accurately access what will happen weeks, if not months, down the road, once we actually see outcomes, not just processes!
I will end this post with a new Russian joke. Two quick notes to clarify the context:
Note 1: the Ukies like to call Russian “Asians” and in the Ukronazi lexicon “Buriat” stands for “Asiatic snow nigger” or something similar.
Note 2: February 23rd is the Russian “Defender of the Fatherland Day”.
“The officers of the 810th Separate Naval Infantry of the Black Sea fleet called a restaurant in downtown Kiev and ordered a table for the February 23rd evening, but they were told that all the tables were already reserved by the officers of the 5th Separate Tank Brigade from Buryatia! The Russians are now vehemently protesting at how the devious Ukrainians are trying to drive a wedge between the brotherhood of Russian and Buriat comrades-in-arms! As for all the other restaurants in Kiev, they have already been booked by the soldiers and officers of the Pskov Airborne Division!“
Okay, this is just that, a *joke*. My fervent hope is that Russia will not be compelled to intervene. Let the Ukrainians solve their own problems by themselves. We owe them exactly and absolutely *nothing* (other, of course, than the commitment we took not to allow a genocide in the LDNR).
Lastly, again, I urge you to check out the latest from Andrei Martyanov: Russia has deployed both Tu-22M3 and MiG-31K with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles in Syria, see for yourself here:
https://smoothiex12.blogspot.com/2022/02/messaging.html
Andrei
If Russia intervenes it needs to destroy the Banderites, what’s the point otherwise? If forced to act they must get the best possible result under the circumstances, make it worth the political pain. Yes the West shall watch what awaits them should they decide to play war.
If there is no false flag, Russia will have more flexibility in their military technical response to the West’s/ USA’s refusal to agree to Russia’s security demands.
@Andrei
There is one more option.
In power vacuum created by hastly retreated rulling structure (oligarchs, key diplomatic personel, advisors) it is possible that some kind of Anti-Maidan riot could happen. Getting traction among exhausted population, fed up with years of neglect and broken promisses. It doesn’t have to be pro or anti Russian. They all are uniformly screwed-up. Noone realy knows what is baseline in Ukraine except themselves, individually. If they go out, they could find surprisingly many with the same problems and interests.
Tight control prevented such scenario. Power vacuum could burst the bubble with unforseen consequences.
Agree. I was thinking along that line too today.
Earlier today I read (forgot where though) that Kharkov elites fled and that the banderists in the East and South were fleeing to the Lvov area. If that is true the question is whether the Ukranians have the wherewithall and guts to stand for themselves.
The problem here is that there is no alternative to Ze or, more accurately, all the alternatives would be worse.
As for the people, they have been terminally brainwashed.
Finally, the Nazis hold all the guns, literally. The Minister of the Interior of Banderastan has literally declared today that “if anybody attempts to seize an official building or special forces will shoot them on sight”.
And they will.
Nope, don’t hold your breath for any anti-Maidan.
You can make fish soup from an aquarium, but you can make an aquarium out of fish soup.
The Ukraine has died, killed by Banderastan.
I believe that all that’s left for the final act is a formal breakup into smaller successor states, some with a possible future, and at least one with a unique type of “rural Banderism”.
That’s what I meant. That the classical Novorossiya will rebel. Not the rest. That the Ukraine will break apart in 3 pieces I already understand some 5-6 years. (Spoke to Ukrainians where I live in Siberia). Novorossiya; Galicia; central part. galicia will become Europe’s headache. Novorossiya will have a long struggle, but will survive. Central part will whither into insignificance.
What about the monasteries in Kiev and elsewhere and the communities around them? I worry about the parishes under Onuphrie and the people who inhabit them.
“I believe that all that’s left for the final act is a formal breakup into smaller successor states,”
Thank you for bringing that up, I forgot to point that possible riot(s) will be dispersed in more local environments. Like cities. One big revolution, all over Ukraine, is highly unlikely.
Unless organized from outside. Which is even more unlikely, for the reasons you pointed out as “cost of easy military victory”.
Andrei, problem with you Russian guys is that you are too scared of appearing aggressive, even though you are, and sometimes you need to be. I seriously hope that the ambassador to Sweden was right in saying that Russia ‘seret na sakncii’ and fixes her western problem in a way that she doesn’t have deal with it two years from now with even worse hand. Had Putin dealt with the Maidan coup on May 2, 2014 (and you know why on that day) none of this diplomatic rigmarole would have been necessary, and Russia could have reestablished her influence in Kiev for free, with hardly any casualties. But Putin wanted to play the lawyer even though he knew he was playing with people who are basically lawless. Why? I tell you a joke that I heard from an Ukrainian lieutenant when the Soviets came to “liberate us from a counterrevolution” in Prague in 1968. It came after another officer lectured to us (a group of university students) that the USSR was only responding to western imperialists’ aggression. After the first officer left, the other one told us a gem of a shutka about this feature of Russian character (for which all other Slavic nations, except may be the Serbs, are leery of their big brother).
Here it is: “Moscow sends a KGB instructor to help in a newly liberated African country to organize its security. He is asked to interrogate a prisoner whom the new authorities suspect of being an American spy. The officer then duly interrogates the man and a group of native security men watch them through half-open door. They see the men interacting but don’t hear them. An hour passes, then two, and three. Then suddenly the prisoner slaps the instructor’s face and the Russian responds by pulling out his hand gun and shooting the man dead.” Afterwards, the trainees are debriefing the officer. “How did you find out he was a spy”. He answers: “Unfortunately, I was not able to determine that”. “And why then did the man slap you?”. The officer shrugs: “Obviously, I asked him to”. “And why did you do that, comrade?” And he goes: “Товарищи, однако безопасность нам нужна прежде всего, мы тоже никогда не будем агрессорами.” (Comrades, even if we need security above all else, we will also never be the agressors.)
Tells you all you need to know about Russia scaring of taking back what was stolen from her.
Nuž, to bolo výstižné. A keď tak nad tým rozmýšľam, tak v ruských dejinách sa tento motív so zauchom a zastrelením objavuje so železnou pravidelnosťou.

Yandex tranlation from mod:-
Well, that was apt. And if I think about it, then in Russian history this motif with sound and shooting appears with great regularity.
I wouldn’t put it passed the ‘west’ to just abandon Ukraine on Russia’s doorstep after some false flag event, like an illegitimate bastard child, and add sanctions from hell to make Ukraine an orphaned mill stone around Russia’s neck for them to take care of for decades. The old ‘walk away’ trick. Russia left holding the ‘bag’, and sanctioned too. A win-win for the psychopathic ‘west’? Kind of like ‘dining and dashing’ without paying the bill, they do here in the ‘west’.
Biden: Nord Stream 2 will never be filled with gas if Russia attacks Ukraine.
– Why didn’t they write to him that Gazprom completed filling the second string of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline with gas at 12.58 Moscow time on December 29, 2021. The first and second strings of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline are in operation. . pressure, but are they fully operational?
Biden: Possible new Western sanctions against Russia will hit the US and lead to higher fuel prices.
Biden: The US does not intend to send troops to Ukraine in the event of hostilities there, but will be committed to NATO’s collective defense.
Biden: World War II was a war we fought out of necessity. (!!!))))
But if Russia attacks Ukraine, it will be a war in which we will participate of our own choice!
Everything! The news from the USA killed me again.
“Biden: World War II was a war we fought out of necessity. (!!!))))”
Surely he means they stayed out of the war making $$$$ until the tipping point and the British empire was kaput.
Wherein, the second half of free-lunch eating 20th century party began. Yes, out of necessity to become the global hegemon, drop gold, and capture the Saudi regime’s Arabia for petro-dollar business systems.
The only reason they were rushing to Berlin in the 1940’s was to stop the Russians.
Go ask Banker-Bush & IBM (and the rest).
This 33 sec video of Shoigu being greeted by Syria’s President Assad showed up in the Home section of my YouTube app. Tells quite the story. Posted to YouTube 4 hours ago, I think.
https://youtu.be/NDIUJAPCVMM
Great! Indeed, it says a lot. Thank you for the limk.
Also, be aware of other places that the USA could stage some provocation.
Syria is but one region–though certainly not the only one.
Will the US re-ignite a ‘Syrian revolution’ to punish Russia in Ukraine?
https://thecradle.co/Article/columns/6835
Russian intelligence says US sleeper cells preparing to incite chaos in Syria
https://thecradle.co/Article/news/6771
IMO I suspect that the reverse is about to happen and that these reports may have been seeded by the Russians to prep the background for impending and very serious military operations in Syria:
– Shoigu visits Assad in Syria;
– at the same time major Russian naval exercises in the Eastern Mediterranean plus the arrival of Khinzal capable MIG-31s and TU-22M3s in Syria;
– and most intriguing of all, the passage of the 6 Russian naval assault vessels on their way to Syria but stopping over at Tartus naval base a few days ago to unload some ordnance but what exactly? Nobody knows outside the Kremlin.
Anglo propaganda machine? Who are these Anglos? The US Media is doing the propaganda for the Democratic Party.
Who owns the US Media? These days, this a question that answers itself.
Oh just stop it! Yes, there are Zionists in the western power structure, and yes, they are nasty.
But if you think all it takes is to constantly repeat “the Jews! the Jews! the Jews!” to whitewash both the history of the British Empire and then its continuation by the US AngloZionist one then you are plain wrong.
So, to answer your question: Who are these Anglos?
The same Anglos who ran the Empire since the 17th century.
Those who committed more genocides than any other Empire in history.
And those who now refuse to give up their narcissistic sense of superiority or their contempt for everybody else.
The exact same ones.
The only difference with the latest (US) ones is that they managed to let themselves be colonized by Israel and Zionists.
And, unlike the Brits, lose every war they ever fought :-)
Though they, of course, had utter contempt for the Jews, they ended needing them to stay in power, what a sweet irony that is!
And that is why in terms of Israel, there is ZERO difference between the Dems and the GOP, Trump or Biden.
Oh the mighty Anglos who have become a doormat for the Israelis – what a pathetic fall and end.
But being Israel’s poodle does not in any way whitewash the Anglos.
It excuses nothing.
And if in Zone A that is all crimethink, then I can tell you that in Zone B this is a no-brainer.
All empires were evil. But this one will surely be missed the least of them all.
@Saker
You’re wrong about the brits’ military capabilities. They never won a war with their own forces. There were local collaborators to do their bidding always. That’s how they won in India and in S. Africa. All the other wars were won with a coalition.
The brits have never been good soldiers even during their imperial period.
Nashe delo pravoe! Pobeda budet za nami!
(Our cause is just! Victory will be ours! (WWII) )
Saigon ’75, Kabul ’21, Kyev ’22. Does anyone also see the shorter frequency of Kenneth?
A couple of things:
1. The West has already started with the “we forced Putin to back down” nonsense. Millions of people will buy that stupidity, because the MSN will push it 24/7.
2.The weather at least today in Donbass seems to be pretty. I saw a reporter walking around with only a jacket on.And there seems to be no snow around where he was and it was sunny. What that means for military actions I’m not sure.
3.I hope NATO is right and Russia is leaving equipment behind and prepositioned for future use. Because you can bet that all that equipment the US is moving to Eastern Europe won’t be removed, and maybe the troops as well.Another form of creeping military movement to the Russian border. Hitler had to move all his forces at one short period to the Soviet border for Barbarossa. While NATO is slowly, in spurts moving their forces and equipment forward. Which is why any Russian backdown is a horrible idea.
4.While the Duma did overwhelmingly vote to recognize the Donbass republics. It seems Putin (so far) is not supporting it. He still seems to think he can get Ukraine to implement the Minsk Accords. I think he needs to read-up on the Einstein quote about doing the same thing over and over again.
5.Now the Ukie’s are saying that they have no intention of not joining NATO.I guess they think they are safe now and can revert to smart-mouthing Russia again.
6.I hope the Russians make their restaurant reservations on time, lol.
The Duma vote would not have happened if the Kremlin did not want it.
Why did the Kremlin want it?
Honestly, I can’t believe I’m saying this but it really looks like nothing will happen tomorrow.
Both Ukraine and Russia are openly mocking Biden at this point.
I think we’re underestimating the serious ineptitude of Biden’s administration. I mean for God’s sake, Biden’s dementia is getting worse and the people he has surrounded himself with aren’t exactly the brightest bulbs of the bunch. They are also a bunch of Neocons that might even believe their own propaganda about the so-called Russian invasion. Their failure in Afghanistan was also massive, and one must ask themselves – how did that come about? It wasn’t in their best interests to fail so wildly in Afghanistan, so why did it happen? Because these idiots are clueless.
I think they are all seriously delusional and nothing serious will happen tomorrow. Maybe there is a minor provocation somewhere? Possible, but not enough to achieve their goals.
It’s almost as if the Democrats have forgotten how to run the executive branch after 4 years of Trump. They took power but now have no clue what they are doing. Like they have been neutered and are incapable of conducting even basic false flag operations. The fact they had to run a sub-par puppet to their preferred choice, Hillary Clinton, is not helping them either. Biden is rotting mentally, and their rule is reflecting that deterioration.
The carnival circus we’re watching play out is pretty hilarious, though it’s still dangerous.
I hope I’m right and don’t end up eating my words.
“Quos Deus vult perdere prius dementat.”
Those whom the gods want to destroy, they first make mad.
Russia has several options open to it. Just a few it might consider….
1) Supply the Donbass with sophisticated lethal weaponry
2) Declare the Donbass an independent state
3) Sponsor a coup (Maidan moment) in Kiev and retake control of the government USA-style (would not involve troops or bombs) – in essence, instigate a civil war in the Ukraine and supply weapons to the pro-Russian side.
4) Plan joint naval exercises with China and Iran in the Mediterranean
5) Bolster its Navy by arranging a swap of energy for ships with China. China is a master builder of military ships. The ships could be outfitted with the latest missile technology.
6) Work with China to build nuclear-powered aircraft carriers. Two Russian “Gerald Ford class” carriers would be very interesting – one operating in the Mediterranean and the other in the Arctic.
7) Work with China to establish a joint naval base in Nicaragua and Venezuela (NATO style – LOL)
8) Turn up the heat in Syria by establishing bases in the northeast part of the country (this has been done on a limited scale but could be made more substantial).
It’s important to note that Russia’s main objective is to secure its Eastern border. As such, Ukraine is only a part of the problem. But if Ukraine were to fall under pro-Russian leadership, that leadership might provide Russia with military bases within the country proper – not just the Crimea – thus making Russia’s eastern border quite secure.
Time will tell…. As Saker says, we all must wait and see….
If The USA does not do a false flag, it will mean that they are only capable of information warfare toward Russia and nothing else.
Information warfare only works when the public is stupid. As George Carlin said “F#ck the public”. (Particularly the American public)
I was aware of the activity of the Russians in Syria, which appears to be in direct response to the US and UK actions and build up in the Med – please take a look at what the US has already deployed and what the UK is sending.
Currently the USS Harry Trumen has positioned itself near to Croatia to have its air wing in range of the Black Sea and / or give fighter escort / support to critical weapons deliveries or deployments to Romania.
Also, a statement has been made (apprently – as I cant confirm it yet) by a politician in Turkey that the access to and from the Black Sea would be closed to Russian warships in the event of a Russian “invasion” of Ukraine (apparently Turkey has the Legal power and authority to do this in event of war).
The movement of serious US and UK naval assets in the Med would strongly “suggest” that any closure of the Bosphorus would be enforced by the US 6th Fleet and British forces based in Cyprus and Gibralter (which have been recently reinforced).
Interestingly, and apparently in responce to the Russian aircraft deployment to Syria, the British are sending their new state-of-the-art “Sky Sabre” air defence system (a 200km range system with intercept speeds of close to 4000km/h) to Cyprus. It should be noted that “Sky Sabre” is a joint project involving Israeli and US arms makers and could – in one form or another – end up in Ukraine at some point too (a massive escalation from simple mapads if it happens, although not as “dangerous” to Russia as US systems which can be retubed as the British system is purely defensive).
I would recommend people take a look at what is going on in the Med and consider these developments alongside the threats of “sanctions from hell” by the US, UK, and EU against Russia (and any nation who trades with Russia dont forget) and consider that NATO does indeed dominate the Med Sea – from Brtiish Gibralter to British and Turkish Cyprus, and from the Dardenelles to the Turkish Bosphorus.
If the the US 6th fleet and Royal Navy appear to planning some sort of blockade, it would be wise for the Russians to flex some anti-shipping muscle as a deterent.
I feel that the US and UK are preparing something in the Med Sea, but I will be happy to be told I am wrong.
Look no farther than the price of gas to see who is winning the war.
“The movement of serious US and UK naval assets in the Med would strongly “suggest” that any closure of the Bosphorus would be enforced by the US 6th Fleet and British forces based in Cyprus and Gibralter (which have been recently reinforced).”
The Turk economy is on its knees. Grandmothers have to turn in their gold bangles for the state treasury.
Russian control of gas inflow, the price of export tomatoes, Russian tourism and a hot Jihadi border between Syria & Turkey. I doubt Erdogan would make such a stupid move. If he does then the Orthodox world can look forward to future Christian prayers in a liberated Hagia Sophia and the Ottomans back in central Asia where they came from.
Regarding the Bosphorus …
Interestingly, this was closed just 3 days ago, due to a ‘Malfunctioning cargo ship’.
https://sputniknews.com/20220212/turkey-closes-bosphorus-strait-over-malfunctioning-cargo-ship-1092969272.html
Has this been resolved? I cannot find any updates.
This appears to have been resolved:

(my apologies for cluttering the board)
I think you are completely wrong.
Please go over to Andrei Martyanov’s site and read the recent posting “Messaging”. There’s an excellent map and diagram showing the immense ranges of Russian ground, air, sea and submersible missile ranges, speeds and warheads. Your British Sabre is completely outclassed and outranged by the massive ranges & variety of RF weaponry stationed in the Eastern Mediterranean, on the Syrian mainland and in the Black Sea itself.
The recent arrival of the MIG31s plus the TU22M3 with their Khinzal Mach 10 (12000 kmh) and 1000 to 2000 km range hypersonic missiles would be a very blunt warning to those US, French and Italian carriers and escorts to tiptoe very carefully in the region. If hostilities do break out those vessels would form the backbone of a series of new reefs at the bottom of the Med called eg the USS Harry Truman reef, the FS Charles de Gaulle reef, and the ITS Cavour reef.
What if the Russian military were to respond to a Ukrainian-NATO false flag attack by…showering the US base at al-Tanf, Syria with 200+ missiles? Could the deployment of MiG-31s and latest Tu-22s, in addition to ships from the northern and Baltic fleets, be a preparation for such a scenario?
I thought the west did pretty well in getting that many out unscathed, dogs as well, considering the fiasco in Afghanistan. Should they run away from Iraq and Syria in a similar manner I’ll be really chuffed.
I do not agree with the following. Quote: Russia is military stronger than the US+NATO and all the western threats are just that, empty threats. The “real truth” is that the US and NATO fear the Russian military. UNQUOTE
I understand why you wrote it down. But think about it. I agree Russia can cause devastating harm but as putin said himself there will be no winners.
Regarding europe: I think their so called leaders will say sorry we had to burn down Europa to save it. NB: The northern part of Europa is already doing this by giving hug amounts of money to the south. They will not have any problem as long as it save Europa
Very realistic and sane post amid the hysterics on both sides (I don’t mean the Russian government which has indeed acted in an adult fashion throughout. I mean those who tell us over and over how amazing the Russian military is, how stupid the US is, and seem to be salivating for some kind of dramatic Russian military triumph. These people do not understand US media manipulation and propaganda, do not understand global economics, and do not understand how the Empire operates). Nothing will happen. The Russians have won by speaking rationally and exercising restraint. The US’s fear-mongering attempt to peal Western Europe away from Russia has backfired. All in all, a happy ending.
If nothing else comes out of this mess for the US, I would imagine NS2 will be fully sanctioned, and it will make a ton of cash out of selling its expensive gas to the desperate Europeans. That’s probably enough of a win for them, as it hurts Russia significantly at the same time.
It seems the fallback position is to wait until the Russians draw down from their exercises and Biden give an,”I stared down Putin.” speech.
Though given the American embassy has already cut and run, what’s to say Zelensky flies to Russia the day after Biden’s speech, just to clear up a few details. Then we get pictures of him sitting across a small table from Putin, talking about the economic and security agreements they just signed. To let bygones be bygones and help Ukraine back on its feet.
Feb 23 is the day of the defender of the motherland. This makes the joke even funnier.
how will the US punish Russia for failing to Invade?
The US might consider unleashing a few intelligent people such as BHL, Jens S, and Liz Trash on the Russians to lecture them on ”European values”. That should have a most significant effect on the Russian psyche.

Does all the hype embolden those running defacto Russian territory. Looks like those running that territory are making moves to be recognized by the Russian government. Propaganda works on both sides at the same time.
Nothing will happen post Scholtz meeting. Things are sorted out. Russia and Germany will continue as economic partners Russia selling its gas to Europe for 1/5 spot. Zel has stated a new independent nationalist line apart from US domination, the US and Britain and their advisors out. Peace will be restored to Europe by Europeans, and Kiev will implement Minsk. The military seems to have been successfully cut out by the politicians. We lost the military strength to scare Russia. Too much money spent on aircraft carriers, and electronics now vulnerable to hypersonic missiles and Electric Warfare technology. We have lost Brzezinski’s Eurasia to the New Silk Road. Problem for us is, this will continue the decline of the dollar and we will pay much more for everything even as the Fed cracks down. I fully expect a wild summer and fall going into the elections, but Europe relatively calm. I could be wrong, but so far it looks like a good, diplomatic outcome.
The only thing I saw of this February 16th, 3 am invasion debacle – apparently Nato warships in the Mediterranean tried to use electronic warfare on Russian warships, but it’s still unclear what happened after that.
I think it’s possible Nato intelligence CIA/Mi6 got some kind of intercept of this date and time, if so, it’s pretty obvious they started believing their own bs propaganda or they actually thought, whatever they might’ve intercepted was true. Maskirovka? Another possibility they have explored these possibilities for provocation but just can’t figure out how to make them work. No one wants to commit suicide.

I loved reading the first part – almost like the popular “Choose Your own Adventure” series popular in the U.S. and Canada. I choose the adventure where nothing happens.
The Saker:
May I suggest another translation of this old Russian saying, which Putin inadvertently has recently made so famous that even Psaki was asked to comment on it?
“Нравится, не нравится – терпи, моя красавица” – “If you don’t like it, it’s a pity, just put up with it, my pretty”.
Interestingly, the saying is close in meaning to another saying: “Стерпится – слюбится”. It is believed that both of them date back to the times when young women in Russia didn’t have a say in who they were to be betrothed to. Even if the presumptive grooms were old men. (A famous painting “Неравный брак” by Василий Пукирев is an excellent illustration of it).
Thanks, Oregonian, for background as well as for translation with a pretty rhyme:
“If you don’t like it, that’s a pity / Just put up with it, my pretty”.
“The much bigger problem with that option will be that this will ruin the EU’s economy, something which the US leaders of the Empire not only want, but desperately need”.
I am not so sure about that. The US, of course, wants to terminate trade between EU countries and Russia, especially when it comes to energy. The aim is to place Europe under total US control, or better said, under total Anglo-American control. I don’t think the US wants to destroy the EU’s economy, as this would diminish trade between the EU and the US.

I think Russia did everything by the book and by the international law. While USA has right to invade any country they feel thretens them and/or where their national interest is, and it is everywhere, Russia, nor any other country has that rigth. Those who want to understand will understand the absurdity of Western position. Unfortunately only a few, as the rest will take whatever opinion media serves them. However, the point is made.
It may look like Russia backed down, or tried to bluff unsucessfully, but they had to do what they did. (Mind this is the first time they are talking about their own security and national interest)
After they did what they did, all the cards they want to play are legitimate. They can choose their time and place.
I do not think West will try to provoke Russia, i.e. “false flag”. Time will tell, supposed to be today at 1am as they are telling us. I think the risk is too big that the consequences Europe will suffer may turn them against their owner, USA. Besides, if Russia gets in, they cannot control how far it will go as sanctions, gass pipeline and all othre thigs West/USA can do will already be done, so no reason to stop.
CNN was reporting from Kiev, they interviewed two well dressed young man and they both stated that “they are ready and willing to give their life for Ukraine”. I noticed they are not in uniforms, no arms, and enjoying in the city. I am very much afraid, Putin has already invaded and they missed their chance to give their lives and become new “young heroes of Ukraine”. What a pitty!
I would go along with everything you say except that i wonder if “The Nazis in Kiev” would still exist after any ‘intervention’ by Russia (be it ballistic missiles or manpower)….I think Putin did state something along the lines that the sovereignty of the Ukraine State would then be called into question, which implies a full-house-cleaning?
But true enough, those that have fled, can create more mischief again tomorrow…perhaps they are all already in Canada…
The Saker wrote: “…you will be proactively targeted by western PSYOPs to prevent your mind from making it into Zone A”.
Could somebody please explain? I know what Zone A refers to. But English is not my mother language, and I have not been able to clarify the meaning of the whole sentence using the Internet search engine, only. Thanks.
Andrei Andrei
I fear you overestimate the intelligence of the Western public.
There is an inescapable translation process which transforms all the terms:
European Security Architecture = Russian invasion of Ukraine
Russia has an army in European Russia = Russia masses troops on Ukrainian border
Russian troops garrison after exercises = Putin is pulling back from the border
Cancel the economy and shoot yourself in the foot = Hurt Putin where it counts
Russia does not invade Ukraine = Diplomacy, deterrence, and NATO single-mindedness forced Putin to retreat
Russian constitutionalists in DonBas = (pro)Russian forces invading Ukrainian territory
Crimean secession = Russian invasion
Russian existence = Russian aggression
etc
Why did the thousands of Western advisors in Ukraine leave? They must have come to the conclusion that they would be massively attacked by the Russians if war broke out. If they come back their credibility will fall to nothing. If they don’t come back the Ukrainian army and the Ukrainian state itself will accelerate its disintegration.
The incredible hysterical pressure from the West for war, once it subsides, will have a devastating effect on the cohesion of Ukraine. Ukraine is coming out of this crisis of hysteria very weakened.
So, after an invasion that was all on the internet they will now pin a ‘cyberattack’ on Russia?
Hello Andrei
Ukraine has 200k active troops, 900k reserves, 12k armored vehicles, etc…
Where are these troops deployed ? Everyone is focusing on the Russians, but no infos on the Ukrainian deployments
If you have informations and the time, a short briefing would be interesting
If possible with some maps, numbers, what units, satellite pictures, etc…
Just woke up and wiped the sleep from my eyes. Did Russia invade Ukraine? (Today’s the day they said it would happen) Who won?
Bloody typical!
You go to all that trouble & effort to promote & organise an invasion for someone; delivering all the carry out’s from the street corner weapons store to make sure everyone has plenty of ammo; sending out cover page splash invitations & wall to wall coverage across the entire media spectrum with time and date of the special event.
And no bugger turns up!
I bet there were not even any WMD’s in the vicinity.
In other news I hear the BBC has acquired sponsorship from the CIA and US State Departments to revive the popular children’s program ‘Jackanory’.
I’m curious about something maybe someone can answer.
Does the division in the orthodox church have any effects on current events? Forget me if this has already been addressed and I missed it.
Monty Python, Brave brave Sir Robin
Brave Sir Robin ran away.
(“No!”)
Bravely ran away away.
(“I didn’t!”)
When danger reared it’s ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
(“I never!”)
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
And gallantly he chickened out.
(“You’re lying!”)
Swiftly taking to his feet,
He beat a very brave retreat.
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin!
