Here in Australia in the lead-up to Christmas I struggled with the relentless heat, drought, bushfires; in Qld’s extreme humidity I poured buckets of sweat while shopping centres jangled endlessly crass songs about bells,snow and frosty snowmen.
In other regions, hundreds of homes lost or damaged and saddest of all, lives lost. We grieve with two young families who lost their husbands and Dads, whilst fighting fires. As a nation we grieve.
Today it rains.
I’m so glad Tulsi mentioned the ‘suffering’, which is all around us, and is the Essential Message of the Coming of the Christ: to ‘be a light to guide the nations unto me. You will open the eyes of the blind and release those who sit in prison darkness and despair.’ Prophesied in Isaiah 42:
