Trump disgraces our military by using our men & women in uniform as mercenaries serving the interests of multinational corps (e.g. Exxon) & foreign countries (e.g. Saudis). We must stand side by side—no matter our political party—to end this travesty.
Ahem. Our military disgraces our military including by not refusing to obey illegal orders. Those with rank go along to get along hoping for a nice sinecure; many of those in the lower echelons join to gratify their desire to blow sh*t up., the rest join for a pay check. What a mess.
The less I hear about this candidate, the better I like it. Obama disappointed, Trump disappointed and so will Ms. Gabbard. Bet on it.
No she has real integrity. Yes I understand you were burnt by Obama who turned out to be a fraud, but Tulsi is the real deal. This is her main issue and she’s doing it for the right reason – she believes in this issue with every fiber of her being.
Tulsi has this one issue and is riding it well.
Pour it on Ms. Gabbard. The Nation is sound asleep and are being sleep-walked into another decade of wars.
Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen, and they are trying hard in Libya and against Iran for the Middle East and North Africa. They also have many special forces and PMC operations going on in a score of African countries.
War is the business of the MIC. Hegemony is the policy of the Deep State.
Bang the drums louder, Tulsi. Wake the People.
“Bang the drums louder, Tulsi. Wake the People.”
This is THE reason why I support and campaign for Gabbard 2020
To wake the people up!
Arent the democrats looking for a strong( check) woman (check), of colour (check ) who can beat Donald Trump

These things need to be said.
They have needed to be said for a long, long time.
Nonetheless. I am amazed that a politician is actually saying these things out loud.
Keep it up.
She forgot Israel.
By the way, Usa has been taking whatever they wanted since 1776. Trump Is not an exception, stealing has been the rule for the usa.
Escucharon hablar del ladrón
James Polk ?
It is ambiguous but when she says “… serving the interests of multinational corps & foreign countries ,” she is not limiting herself to one country. This is the most you can be clear about these things and still be politically viable in a country with a staunchly Zionist media and with Zionists firmly in control of both political parties, all the major think-tanks involved in policy formation, and much of the government bureacracy as well.
She forgot the “Hidden Tyranny” too

What ever personal ” Agenda ” that Tulsi Gabbard is pursuing ; she does “absolutely ” speak the truth in this particular matter. Chesty Puller even wrote a book about the situation Ms. Gabbard is addressing. This distressing situation will continue until the United States ” Bankrupts ” itself ; just like the Former Soviet Union. The ludicrous Irony of our times is in having our { very militant and aggressive } Commander in Chief in the corpus of a ” bona fide ” Draft Dodger.
Not Puller, Maj. Gen. Smedly Butler.
Andrew is right about Smedly Butler being the author of the book; “War is a Racket”. I stand corrected. Mixed up the names of two great Marine officers.
Sure, Tulsi packages her message in ways not to offend certain parties (she names Saudi Arabia but remains silent on Israel). She also could have pointed out the ongoing Venezuelan coup attempt which has the same motives, but she won’t go there because our troops aren’t in danger and the public opinion believes Madero is Stalin. Like all politicians other than perhaps Ron Paul and Dennis Kacinich, Gabbard is going to compromise some truths in exchange for political expediency. Even so, she is the lone Presidential candidate that is advocating disengagement from imperial policy. Whileshe won’t come out and acknowledge that there is a deep state or that the political system is systemically broken, at least she is moving against he tide. She does have “guts” and is infinitely preferable than anyone else. And she is sane.
“Politics is the art of the possible”.
The only bang to awaken the American people is a bang on their home soil and experience the casualties of North Korey, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya….the American people just don’t care.
Tulsi Gabbard -whom I support, and for the sake of whose candidacy I have switched party affiliation- has walked up to the Rubicon but did not cross it.
To cite Saudi Arabia by name but to fail to name Israel, is a calculation that may have been made to shield her from being called an anti-Semite. If so, then her discretion may indicate that she will not to take on the Zionist Globalist Deep State, should she become President.
Arthur, she’s quite powerless to take on the Zionists right now. If she makes it to the Big Show and uses tactics like Putin’s, she’ll do ok. The hard part after you get elected is when the CIA walks into your office with a gun in one hand and a briefcase full of money in the other and tells you, you have a choice to make.
I think it’s more like a photo album featuring JFK in Dallas and a tele-photo shot of her child getting off the school bus.
Agreed!
But instead of a briefcase full of money, I expand on Larry’s comment below:
It will be a photo album of others. JFK would be prominent among them.
As the current pace of the US rushing towards Marshall Law to contain the US citizens anger, frustrations and despair in throwing the bums out (election of Trump who was not represented by either major party of bums). He campaigned on no more wars and resurrection of the working class of which he has no intention of doing as he elevates the elitist class in their greed and power. Tulsi can vet and lead those in the Military to reestablish the Treasure, Commons and Unalienable Rights to the Republic in forming a more perfect union. She has shown truth to power and that included the DNC corruption in her own party and resigned from its leadership in protest of stiffing the US citizens from a fair election/s. The first step would be to prosecute (through military tribunals) MSM for continuing to yell fire in the theater as the law enforcement starts the prosecution of enemies inside the Gates for treason and crimes against humanity.
I wonder if Tulsi has ever heard of General Smedley Butler, has ever read his book, or even knows he was recruited by fascist US businessmen to overthrow FDR in 1933? Her repeating the broken record of the Outlaw US Empire’s military being the enforcement arm of US Big Business and the Current Oligarchy says she’s ignorant of him, his book and the unprosecuted crime that is now our bane. IMO, it’s a legitimate question to ask if her ignorance makes her only suitable to perform the duties of VEEP instead of POTUS.
I dont see the point of a guy who failed at what he tried to do as having leverage to make people ignorant in not knowing of him, I never heard of the guy but I do know how he failed.
Of course she has read the book, and has commented on it. For crying out loud, do some research!
For example, on Twitter, 11 months ago (Feb 7th) in reply to an NPR shill. She posted her photo of her actual copy, with the comment, “Currently on my nightstand”.
Not to mention, he not only resisted being conscripted to the conspiracy, he helped expose it.
Gabbard has some courage to say what she does, but of course she ignores the 800 lb Israeli gorilla in the room. She is as Zionist as any other candidate and is a typical Dem when it comes to domestic policy: ignore the 2A, open the borders, abort as many babies as possible, and make sure “climate change” is a policy priority. IOW, there’s no problem so big that more rules and more tax money can’t fix it.
No thanks. We won’t stop warring with other nations until the dual passport-holders are ejected from DC and we abolish the Fed. Since Tulsi is CFR and a die-hard shabbos shiksa, you can forget about any real change coming from her.
“Bang the drums louder, Tulsi. Wake the People.”
This is THE reason why I support and campaign for Gabbard 2020
To wake the people up!
Arent the democrats looking for a strong( check) woman (check), of colour (check ) who can beat Donald Trump
(check)?
No, IMHO. They (that is, DNC et al.) are looking for someone who will lose gracefully to Trump. That way, they can keep their cushy sinecures, still raise lots of money for their re–election campaigns, still make lots of money in political consulting for campaigns, but not actually have to take the responsibility of governing. Win–win!
That is why they will try to throw Bernie Sanders under the bus. He might actually win!
PeterP, absolutely exactly. You said what I have been saying for years. They won’t awaken until it’s far to late. Most don’t care.
It has to be brought here.
LOL – yo, Tulsi, from a fellow vet – drafted ’67, ‘Nam ’69 – thx for ur service/glad ya made it back, but . . . “our” military? Ya got a turd in ur pocket? Furthermore, been a long time since anybody of consequence has given vets the respect/help like the Trumpster. I know ur a “politicing” but give the man some credit. I suspect you just may be forced to make “difficult compromises” also, given the opportunity to be in the same position.
This is what needs to be said. Trump bankrupts the company while personally benefiting from campaign contributions. She is getting the truth out, hence her campaign is succeeding on some levels. between daring candidates like her and the internet we must outflank the MSM and get the truth out to American people, note Ingraham tried to cover for Trump and get him to claim it is “protecting the oil from Isis” yet he blurted out the truth. I support Tulsi.
This was a much more focused message than one she delivered recently where she made silly statements about constant wars nobody knows why we are fighting. Tulsi, we know why. It’s the oil, primarily.
She did a much better job this time.
I totally agree with her that Trump is not fit for high office but as long as he keeps doing the bidding of his masters I don’t think he is going anywhere.
*polite golf clap*
Sure.
Wake the people up…stop the endless wars.
Let me guess,. Drain the Swamp.
Gee that sounds familiar.
Americans have short memories.
All very well Ms Gabbard, but that is ‘business as usual’ for the United States? They invaded a sovereign nation on the back of a concocted, preconceived lie, in an illegal war, mass-murdering ~1,000,000 innocent Iraqi men, women and CHILDREN, to facilitate the control, and looting, of a poor nations natural resources. A Military that you served in for 15+ years, no less, with two, that’s 2, tours of duty in Iraq. Shouldn’t you be ashamed of being part of that ‘mercenary’ machine that does the bidding of a mafiosi-corporation in the first place? I would have thought you would have had a little ‘humility’ and just kept your head down, but then ‘humility’ is not a quality fostered, or particularly valued, in the United States of Hypocrisy, is it?
Proves convincingly that Trump is fit as Pindo President (or King). His Majesty’s soldiers are mercenaries who gladly partake in mayhem, theft, and murder worldwide for money. While Trump is the scum politically responsible at the moment, the problem runs much deeper. To wit: The US is a nation of militant parasites. The memes of ”Exceptional” and ”Indispensable” are buzzwords for ”Entitled to other peoples’ natural resources and labour output”. If Tulsi Gabbard were to try out the slogan ”Victory to Venezuela, Syria, and Iran” on her proud US compatriots, then God have the mercy.
I’m surprised there are so many negative comments about Gabbard here. It seems very obvious that she is walking the tightrope of pulling the curtain aside without just doing it in one great tug that would scare away masses of brainwashed voters who still get their news from the corporate media.
If she somehow got voted in as president she would likely find it very difficult to do anything, however, she is quite sincere. Folks need to take the time to learn how to read people.
I suspect she will be the VP pick if Bernie manages to get past the Democratic cabal of undead liches, vampires and pedophiles. She is a fantastic VP pick as the deepstate would be less likely to give Bernine a heart attack if Tulsi Gabbard was next in line for the presidency.
“I’m surprised there are so many negative comments about Gabbard here.”
Actually, I understand you. It was exactly the same thing with the blog post Putin Steps on the Polish Elite’s Toes the other day. Lots of inanities and sour grapes in response. But the key difference here is that Tulsi Gabbard is (at least) the third US Presidential candidate making noises about the plague of never-ending wars waged by US imperialism. The previous ones threw off the mask immediately once in office, Personally, I cannot envisage Tulsi Gabbard behaving any differently. By contrast, Vladimir Putin’s 20 year track record speaks for itself. The ‘superior intellects’ pouring scorn here on his very apt statesmanship are just — plain inferior.
No one knows exactly how someone will operate when sitting in the POTUS chair, but to dismiss Tulsi as not being sincere would be a disservice to humanity/peace.
For those on the fence as to her sincerity it might be worthwhile to catch this event:
Tulsi talks IRAN with Guests Steven Kinzer & Dennis Kucinich – Intro by Kim Iversen – Concord, NH
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-W9b-_K_Xo
Not exactly hanging out with a bunch of pro-status-quo folks here!
Unlike others, Gabbard has seen war up-front.
War Is A Racket on her nightstand:

Then simply she won’t be v.p. as this is ((their)) assurance, having a v.p. that they don’t mind taking the p. out if necessary.
Titled ‘All in the Family: The American Sangh’s Affair With #TulsiGabbard,’ the story documented how Gabbard’s early congressional career was heavily financed by leaders & members in US affiliates of the RSS.
https://www.albiladdailyeng.com/all-in-the-family/
Tulsi Gabbard is talking about an issue that needs talking about. She is attempting to wake people up to the fact that the US is incessantly in warfare against the rest of this planet. I have never seen that coming from an American politician excepting maybe Ron Paul, and to a much smaller extent, Rand Paul – there is one other, but I forget his name now.
If anyone read The Saker’s interview with Michael Hudson just recently, one has to change your view about Israel (the country) somewhat. Michael Hudson made a nuanced comment in his description about Israel. Zionism now lives in the the White House and in the lawmaking US governing bodies. There is no difference between Zionism in the US, and Zionism in Israel. There is no wall between the two entities – they are one.
The balance of power and locus of control has changed however, with the decisions now being made in the US, and Israel, the country in the ME, now just being a kind of lily pad for power projection. The US Zionist cadre is now the dog, and Israel the country in the ME is the tail. It is simple to see in financials ..
Israel gets money from the US – they are a cost center. They pay some back to buy influence in the US.
The US gets paid money for their soldiers specifically from Saudi Arabia – the US defense forces are now a profit center. The House of Saud pays for US military protection. (And has anyone ever seen dirty or clean money that Trump does not like?)
That is what Tulsi’s point is here – that the US soldiers are being used as mercenaries and the US taxpayer pays for this. And she is absolutely right – it is a deep disgrace. They are not defense forces any longer, but a pure mercenary army that is being rented out for warmaking and defending with arms the indefensible. In Trump’s head, a businessman’s head, he has this free resource, the military, that the taxpayers have already paid for – it is a profit making dream in business terms – so, he might as well use this free resource to make money. So, war for the US is now clearly a business and their wars are Zionist Banker’s wars and this mercenary army steals and plunders for the US. There is no morality in this. We can be thankful to Trump that his use of the US military as mercenaries is at least out in the open now and thankful to Tulsi Gabbard that she is exposing this.
Does Tulsi Gabbard regret that she participated in an American war of aggression against Iraq based on lies about Iraqi WMDs and indeed joined up for not 1 but 2 tours of duty in this criminal war?
Also, would she agree to the United States of America being put on trial in a Nuremberg-style Tribunal for this criminal war (and others)?
And would she agree that the United States of America should pay War Reparations to Iraq (and other nations) that is has committed the Supreme International Crime against?
On all three questions, I think we know how Tulsi “Peace Candidate” Gabbard would answer…..
Here’s the thing people. If you want Tulsi’s message to be heard louder, then you need to get out and help her pound the drum. She has been steadfast in her non intervention opinion, but she is only one person. And no woman can be an island. We can’t sit back and cheer her on with just our keyboards, it is going to take real door knocking and volunteering. Get out and spread the word. Get away from the keyboard.
