The pilgrimage or procession started from the two opposite geographic locations of Ukraine.
Donetsk, East Ukraine, Russian speaking. Ternopil west. Ukraine, Ukrainian speaking.
Through all the videos shown mainly on Ukrainian tv, the pilgrims, priests, and everyone involved spoke Ukrainian, the myth that East Ukrainians did not wan to integrate into a Unitary Ukraine is debunked. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate is seen as a great enemy of the Maidan government. The Maidanist mantra spewed during this procession was that a play by the evil Kremlin and the even more evil Moscow Patriarchate was marching towards Kiev, or Kyiv, or Kiyv, or whatever it is called these days, to fracture the “United Ukraina”.
Right, another trojan Horse of the evil Putin, who has weaponized even religion.
Religion is a large point of friction in Ukraine, with the Factions of the Galician represented by the Greek Catholic Uniates, then the schimatic Ukrainian Orthodox Patriarchate, and third the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.
There was harrassment on the pilgrims at every stop, from Kharkov to Poltava, the Donbass contingent faced the Right Sector. From Rivne, to Zhitomir to Borispol, the Ternopil contingent faced the Right Sector and the OUN/UPA. At the Borispol intersection the Uniate Catholics of the Right sector carried a telling black flag, it Read “Natzya”.
The MSM claimed that at the time of Maidan in 2014, thousands of Ukrainians gathered to bring about their “Revolution of Dignity”. Frankly, those Maidan crowds look puny compared to this Procession fo the faithful, who came together from the opposite sides of the divided Ukraine.
Divided by political pyromaniacs, and greedy Westerners.
Putin is a religious man, respectful of all people’s particular belief system. nevertheless a Russian Orthodox believer.
When we see the devastation in Donbass, and cry out for an effective and definitive end to this ethnic cleansing. The scenario that can be envisioned through these wishes, is of utter devastation of the Ukrainian cities and countryside, very likely.
A man of conscience and a man who delves deeply into the meanings of the scriptures is what we often see in Putin.
If there are thousands of right and good christians, thousands in Donbass, thousands in West Ukraine, Russian Christians, Polish Christians, Hungarian, Romanian Christians, if not millions, would not that factor in Russia’s leader heart and mind to stop him from unleashing the righteous end to the evil and heartless destruction of cities, villages, and of Christian Russians of Donbass?

Women, men, children, The Pilgrims who were from the Ukrainian occupied Donbass. and from Ternopil, met with threats of death, hanging, crucifixion, burning, by the derranged Nazis. They have fought a great battle, and have come victorious. The Procession was for Peace in Donbass, not just to celebrate St. Vladimir.
At every step they responded with pleas for Peace, and Love, to prevail in Ukraine.
Violence begets violence, and the Nazis enjoy that. Russia cares too miuch for its people, and its brothers to unleash the devastating blow. There are inocent lives lost, there are thousands of martyrs. There is also pain, even from strangers to the lands of Russ, at the extreme sorrow that has beholden those steppes. There is great anger, at the Punishers, the karately, the Pindos, the West. Anger and claim for blind justice.
But, what would be of Russia and its conscience, if in this scenario of absolute, blind justice, hundreds if not housands more of these women, children, men, who want to live in peace and with love, were to be murdered callously as the West does in a daily basis.
It would not be Russia anymore. They know it, and they also go and sacrifice themselves in order to protect Donbass and Russia.
The choices are too deep, unfathomable the discussions that have been held in every room of the Kremlin, without a doubt.

With this procession, of the deep courage that still exists in Ukraine, I have learned a bit more of the Russian spirit, and I have come to appreciate more the terrible choices, and the heavy burdens, that people with the highest responsibility and calling have to take, everyday.
The Russian Orthodox Church is the unifying force that brought the idea forward, but the people made it happen, great respect, and hope for them.
27 million soviet citizens died to rid humanity of the German Nazi evil.
Let’s hope, and may we be forgiven for it, that only Donbass will have to suffer to defeat the children and granchildren of the Western Nazi.
The conflict continues, because evil still reigns in the hearts of the Western leaders, no less.
