I hope that they do not make use of these adverstisements, then the message here is pretty clear. It is a mixture of hedonism with a lifestyle that is not sustainable. Single does as single want to do, yes. I find this to be nonsense. Single parties (celebrates) throughout the night in a shopping cart. Naturally this ad is portrayed as a mixture of colorful and and is an irresponsible lifestyle. Therefore we should orient ourselves this. One has to ask who has actually discovered where this originates. Who is hiding behind ‘Single Not Sorry.’ You could find out. According to my tastes, all of that belongs down there (in the trash can).

I was in the process of writing you about the Homo Lobby video and adding some comments to this conversation. I do agree there is a Homo Lobby but I wanted to point out that the methods they’ve used to further their agenda were used by many other groups before them. They didn’t invent the propaganda/marketing techniques they use; they just saw how effective they were for other groups and decided to use them as well (if you haven’t already, read up on Edward Bernays). Having said that, my personal view is that anyone who uses propaganda is scum and that includes the people who made the Homo Lobby video as they used some of the same techniques they criticized the Homo Lobby for using (tweaking peoples human nature or emotions or pushing their buttons to further an agenda is simply wrong and extremely corrosive to society).
There are a lot of homos in the world and we’re definitely not all the same (runs the full political/moral/ideological spectrum). I’m a lot of things, one small part of which is my sexuality. I think it’s private and nobody’s business. I understand that the whole homo thing seems really in your face these days, especially if you’re not sympathetic to their cause. But remember gay people didn’t want to be in your face. They tried to be discrete and not ruffle feathers by gathering in homes and private clubs.
