…Trade cooperation between countries should take place in the existing legal framework. For Ukraine and Russia this legal field are the rules of the WTO and the Agreement on the free trade area of the CIS,” says trade representative of Ukraine Natalia Nikolskaya.”
Really? Is that the same Ukraine that announced months ago they spit on the CIS and wanted nothing to do with them. They were withdrawing from them. And hated Russia “the enemy state”.Is there another country calling itself Ukraine? Because I surely remember a “Ukraine” saying that months ago.
Thanks, Raskolnikova,
Many interesting links.
About #17 on “Ukrainian trolls”
Most so called “Ukrainian” trolls are working at the US military bases around the world.
Ask any of them if they got texts for their posts at their navy morning roll call briefing, and they would disappear without a trace.
Interesting enough, not one of those presumably simple “Ukrainian” persons ever asked what a “navy morning roll call” means.
Thanks R.
Re # 13 (OSCE adopting Ukrainian Resolution)
Any pretence that this s****y little EU tax-payer funded org is strictly neutral has to be dropped. For good.
Apart from being currently led on the ground by a guy who looks – and sounds – like an alcoholic (Hug), it’s reports are worthless. Not only have they routinely failed to provide comprehensive data, they have developed a local reputation for living ‘la dolce vita’, preferring to stay in their hotels rather than get out and work.
This in a war-zone.
Coupled with the deliberate exclusion of representatives of one of the (indeed, *the*) architects of Minsk 11, the Russian observers, the OSCE munchkins have blown their cover, scanty as it was. They are now nakedly partisan and should be ejected from Donbass forthwith.
I would defy a Putin ‘nay’ on this one.
The NAF should kick there asses all the way to Kiev.
Let’s see how they like Right Sector ‘hospitality.’
(*mood* = furious )
BETTER NEWS ON CRIMEA
The Turks have decided to invest $12b in Crimea. Before, (the critics) were shouting that no one wants to invest in the sanctions region; now they are screaming that Turkey is buying up the Crimea. –col cassad
[But, as Niqnaq says, Turkish investment plans might be set aside by the US, like their plan to become a hub for Russian gas to Europe. (Or, as I think possible they cd be making such a massive investment on behalf of somebody else– like the Israelis)]
Farmers from Turkey already draw up a legal entity for the establishment of the Crimea livestock enterprises. European investors want to make in Crimea machinery and equipment, to develop hotel business in Yevpatoriya and Feodosiya. Businessmen from South Korea are interested in the construction of the automobile plant. Interest shows pharmaceutical company from India, which wants to manufacture generic drugs, syringes and consumables.
But the European plans will be delayed, since they’ve extended Crimean sanctions by a year. (LOL)
The Russian government,Russian investors, and BRICS and EEU companies should be the only ones allowed in Crimea to invest. And all those investments need to be made in projects for the Russian home market. That would prevent any sanctions from having an effect in Crimea.
You gotta see this.
http://m.strategic-culture.org/news/2014/04/01/the-charge-of-the-scientology-brigade.html
I for one would have been quite happy not to see this. An allegation that Yatsenuk and Slovak president Kiska are scientologists, mostly ‘proven” by the fact that they deny it. And scientologists are planning a “homeland” for themselves in the Balkans, for which police found evidence on floppy disks. Floppy disks. FLOPPY DISKS. That must be about 15 years old information and that’s all anyone’s heard of it?
Just another [piece of deliberate distraction by disinfo agent Wayne Madsen, aimed to stop you looking at what is REALLY going on. Safe to give this one a miss IMHO..
thanks Kat Kan for the floppy disk alarm…FLOPPY disks…what is that ?
Kat Kan
Scientology is very big in California. It seems to be a project of US Naval Intelligence. Joaquin Flores has spoken about this in his video interviews. He agrees that it controls various Hollywood figures, too. A quite sinister organization. Regarding the connection between Yats and Scientology & also the connection between Slovak president Kiska and Scientology there is certainly more than their having denied it.
Since you find the govt story on 9-11 to be plausible and all manner of doubts of it incredible it is not to be hoped that you could look objectively at Scientology’s existence or it’s manner of gaining influence. You’re just allergic to anything having to do w conspiracy or secrecy..
That’s OK. We can agree to disagree.
Scientology is very big in California.
In comparison to what? Human sacrifice? That’s just plain silly. I used to date a woman who had many scientologist friends. These were whitebread, white collar get rich quick types who scammed money off each other. A rather pathetic “community” of flim flam practitioners who host a major get together in a town and see a hundred or so people show up. In Cal, we’re talking about a number of people in the 4, perhaps low 5 figures, hardly “big” in a state of more than 30 million..

Peter Koenig:
“As it has been said before – financial assistance is waiting from the BRICS bank,a ssured by Russia and China – an instant line of credit for the necessary imports to make hospitals again operational, for the production apparatus to import what is waiting since days in Piraeus – but can’t be unloaded because of lack of liquidity – and nationalizing the Greek banks, infusing starting capital in the newly habilitated Greek Central Bank – and for taking back some of the key privatized public services into the public domain.
In the meantime, the ECB owes Greece 17 billion euros which they purposefully withhold. The BRICS bank could transfer these euros to Greece as a debit to the ECB. All this sounds like a radical financial move; though all is legal, or as legal as what the troika is doing to Greece.”

Penelope,
Legal, para, debatable or straight-up illegal, it has the merit of being at least rational.
The Greek Parliament has just approved the latest EU/Greece bail-out. (Contrary to rumour, Tspiras says terms are improved for the Greeks.)
Banks are due to run out of cash on Monday, so they really had their backs to the wall. (In the medium to long-term, still do. No control over currency issuance hobbles sovereign decision-making as you have often stated.)
Will we see another turn once the cash starts to flow?
If Koenig is right, we just might.
That was a very BIG OXI last week.
eimar, Yes it was a very big OXI, and the Greek people deserved that the govt take effective action to preserve liquidity. Obviously shouldn’t have waited til already in default before announcing the referendum. But even at that point there were several options and the govt exercised none of them.
http://www.voltairenet.org/article188066.html Requisitioning was apparently one option.
It just seems inexcusable for the Syriza govt to have permitted an entire nation to lose every bit of their bargaining power thru illiquidity. I don’t buy the excuse that he thought the vote wd be “yes” & was therefore unprepared. As the head of govt he didn’t find it his responsibility to BE prepared?! In fact his inner cabinet met a week before the referendum & considered the liquidity question & various solutions. Tsipras & Varoufakis chose to do absolutely nothing.
Sometimes it seems like Tsiparas doesn’t know what to do.
Now he’s caved in it seems. Too bad. But it sounds like Argentina’s solution was not possible…don’t know why….
@ Raskolnikova,
Thank you for the time and effort you’ve poured into presenting this sitrep. Very much appreciated.

When cities and civilians are shelled, MSM’s silence is deafening.
Rasolnikova, I think its a mistake on the part of Russia Insider, about that Cossack in the Ukraine parliament fussing about all the gays…RI is in the wrong boat on this one.
Perversion in governments all over the world is rampant right now. And homosexuality is it. This, I think is why we’re seeing it pushed to the degree it is in the western world now.
