“Moldova’s prime minister has resigned after state prosecutors, whom he has accused of moving slowly over the disappearance of some $1 billion (€887 million) from the country’s banks, questioned him over his school certificates.
“I am tendering my resignation because I don’t want to take part in political games,” Chiril Gaburici told journalists. ”
http://www.irishtimes.com/business/prime-minister-of-moldova-resigns-over-political-games-1.2247881
Is Moldovan “political games” the real reason for the resignation or is it more about outer political games connected to Transnistria?
Ben, I wonder if the Moldovan Prez was not as gung-ho for combat against Transnistria as Washington wd have wished..
Yes Penelope, there were signs recently that Russia is gradually relaxing the trade embargos against Moldova and somebody didn’t like it.
There are more fires around Kiev, this time it is peat bogs, grass and foam plastic at a foam plastic warehouse in Brovary, on the outskirts of Kiev.
The city administration has warned that there is an ‘extraordinary’ danger of fires breaking out around Kyiv between June 12-14.

Thugs attack Russian consulate in Ukraine
http://en.interfax.com.ua/news/general/271658.html
An egg for an egg, a tomato for a tomato, etc.
MSM comparison: there are about 4 stories on front Google page for Russian consulate attack in Kharkov, an entire page for Ukrainian one attacked in Rostov.
Kharkov one there is video of, showing about 50 of reported up to 100 people. Also shows about 30 – 50 police standing around not doing much. They threw eggs and blue and yellow paint (seen being poured into plastic bags, reported as green – must have mixed). This is Ukrainian colours. Guests (for Russia Day reception) were jostled and cars damaged.
Rostov: no video, just 4 uploaded stills not clearly identifying location. Building was empty at the time. Despite this , Consul states he knows 50-100 people marched up to the building. Damage variously done by bricks, stones or bats, all windows broken as well as eggs and tomatoes thrown. Paint again reported as green, what a coincidence.
http://tass.ru/en/russia/800504
This one brief report makes an attempt at being balanced. After quoting the Consul about the mess, they end up with the single line
“On Thursday, several activists threw toward the Russian Consulate General in Kharkiv few bottles of brilliant green. “.

FUEL TANK FIRE UPDATE
Working by the time-honoured method of waiting till the fire goes out, Kiev firefighters extinguished the fuel tank fire that burned for nearly 3 days. They deny Russia had offered to help
“…The state emergency service of Ukraine has not received from the Ministry of emergency situations of Russia offers to help in extinguishing oil depot in the Kiev region, said Last news the head of communications Department Emergency Services of Ukraine Oleksandr Makushenko….”
One of the 17 tanks was saved. Five firefighters died and up to 15 people were injured. n the absence of a storyline to blame Russia with, it has been decided to charge the owners with negligence, although they insist it was sabotage (to reduce the value of the company for easier overseas sale).
“..As the head of the MIA of Ukraine Arsen Avakov, the losses from the effects of a fire at the oil depot be more than one billion hryvnia (about $ 48 million). He also said that as part of an open criminal cases was arrested the actual head tank farm “BRSM-Nafta” Yuri Squire. Also to criminal prosecution will be brought by the chief engineer of limited liability company “Park-TRANS Yuri southerner who was responsible for the safety and operation of the tank farm…”

Looks like the IMF is still going to fund Ukraine:
http://rt.com/business/266920-ukraine-imf-debt-repayment/
Despite it not being able to repay private lenders. Will all the other countries agree to this?
Rgds,
Veritas
A Ukraine hanging precariously between life and death suits the Western oligarchs best.
So while the big sell-out happens – factory after factory, company after company, bank after bank – the IMF will make sure to keep the Ukraine a hair-width away from default. Very old trick. Works like a charm.
(What do you mean by other countries? France? Canada? Germany? There are no other countries, the US-Reich decides everything.)
I mean other members of the IMF who put up the money – all the BRICS countries being an example:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Monetary_Fund
Not that it really matters but the calculation is somehow wrong.
9)Media: Saakashvili works in Odessa for one and a half bottles of wine
5644 hryvnia (about $ 267) per month
wine worth of 3,250 USD.
If the numbers are right he couldn’t even afford a single one in a year.
Was meant to be 3,250 hryvnia, so $150 bottle of wine, clearly not some local house wine.
probably imported from distant Georgia :-)
