Wow! Now things look very serious indeed. RT reports that Russia is starting military maneuvers involving not one, but TWO military districts plus the Air Force:
Russia has begun extensive military exercises in Ukrainian border area following the escalation of violence in eastern Ukraine.
“The order to use force against civilians has already been given, and if this military machine is not stopped, the amount of casualties will only grow,” Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu said during an official meeting in Moscow.
“War games by NATO in Poland and the Baltic states are not helping the normalization of the situation. We are forced to react to the situation.”
Shoigu said that the drills involve march and deployment exercises by forces in the southern and western military districts, and separate Air Force maneuvers.
Shoigu said that 11,000 Ukrainian soldiers, 160 tanks, 230 armored carriers and at least 150 artillery pieces are involved in the operation against anti-Kiev activists.
“National guard units and Right Sector extremists are fighting against the peaceful population, as well as a volunteer Donbass ‘anti-terrorist’ unit. Also security and internal forces transferred to Lugansk and Donetsk from other areas of the country are suppressing dissent,” the minister said.
He added that Ukrainian sabotage units have been deployed near the Russian border.
In contrast, Shoigu said that the pro-Russian self-defense units number about 2,000 and have about 100 guns between them, which have mostly been taken from local police stations.
I did not expect such a dramatic and rapid escalation and if I was on the side of the forces currently attacking Slaviansk I would get really frightened. The size of the force Shoigu has just mobilized is huge, potentially enough to fight a major war on a full continental front. It also includes the best and most powerful and battle-hardened Russian units from the southern military district.
Now, this does not at all mean that the FULL forces of the military districts have been mobilized or are moving. But that the Russian high command can draw whatever units it deems necessary from these two districts (a misnomer, by the way, they are now called “strategic directions”). One thing is certain, not even during the Chechen wars or 08.08.08 did Russia assemble such a powerful military force. I am frankly astounded that they would make such a decision and announce it publicly even though the Ukrainian attack so far has been, frankly, minimal and lame.
Also, notice that unlike Putin, Shoigu is not talking about “consequences” for “individuals” but about stopping the Ukrainian military machine! He also presents this not a a choice for Russia, but as something Russia is forced to do. He clearly knows something we don’t. Maybe a NATO move in western Ukraine? It seems totally crazy to me that NATO would do that, but how can I otherwise explain the huge size of the force Russia has just put on alert?! You don’t need the resources of two of you most powerful strategic directions to deal with 5’000+ SBU/RS thugs? For that a single ODON division would be plenty.
I am getting very worried by this and I hope that this is a mistranslation or some kind of misunderstanding on RT’s part (stuff happens). But if not, then this is very, very serious.
I will try my best to figure out what is going on.
Stay tuned (and say prayer for peace), and let’s hope that things calm down.

Operation Unthinkable: Churchill’s plan to start World War III
June 13, 2013 Rakesh Krishnan Simha
“When told the Russians would bombard the UK on a massive scale, the British PM quietly backed off.”
(1) Increase the Russian military budget every year by $30 Billion Dollars (the real one now is about $100 Billion).
(2) Accelerate building new aircraft carriers to have 10 of them.
(3) Have 10 Borei subs (with 2000 nukes in them).
(4) Try to agree with Cuba & Venezuela to have Naval & Air bases.
(5) Deploy the Iskandar & S-400 & Air bases in Syria RIGHT AWAY.
(6) Locate the Islamic thugs in Syria and drop few of these conventional “Mother of all Bombs” on them.
(7) Develop more sophisticated IVBM.
(8) Make it clear that MDS in Europe is unacceptable and would constitute an act of war.
Read “1971 War” how US and UK carriers fled after Soviet vessels aimed missiles at USS ENTERPRISE.
Soviet Admiral Krugliakov commanded that Soviet fleet that made fools of the US Navy in Indian Ocean
300 Years of Anglo-Saxon Terror destroyed 200 Countries, Killed Billions, Looted 100s of Trillions.
Uk wants to look tough,it lives on its past,it relies and plots on USA,which is Englands grown up child
That’s the real problem. The anglo saxons.
@Saker said, ” I, for sure, do NOT want war, and I have the deepest admiration for the restraint Putin has shown.”
There is agreement at the end of CounterPunch article, Mike Whitney writes:
“This is Putin’s dilemma, to choose the path that is least likely to exacerbate the situation and plunge Ukraine deeper into the abyss. For now, the choice seems obvious, that is, he should simply sit-tight, resist the temptation to get involved, and avoid doing anything rash. Eventually, his restraint will be seen as strength not weakness and he’ll be able to play a more constructive role in guiding Ukraine back to peace and security. But, for now, he must be patient and wait.”
Libya and iran and later syria was where the anglo enemis of Russia were testing russian response=and russia let it go to wire rather than stopping at start.
All you need to know about Syria can be summarized in 2 words. Roland Dumas. France Former Foreign minister told the whole Syria conflict was 1)planned,2)organize d and 3)prepared in UK ,2 years before conflict began.
Pure evil: USUKIL. Who will hold them accountable?
Concluding that an invasion, or subversion, of Syria was predominantly a British plan, Dumas clearly stated it would be accomplished through “an invasion of rebels”.
“This was in Britain not in America.”, Dumas stated. “Britain was organizing an invasion of rebels into Syria.
This was in Britain not in America. Britain was organizing an invasion of rebels into Syria. They even asked me, although I was no longer minister for foreign affairs, if I would like to participate.
Naturally, I refused, I said I’m French, that doesn’t interest me.’’
Dumas went on give the audience a quick lesson on the real reason for the war that has now claimed the lives of tens of thousands of people.

“Russian writer and journalist sure the Americans provide a mechanism of permanent local conflicts on the Russian-Ukrainian border.
Prokhanov believes that the Ukrainian authorities are leading the country under the dictation of the White House:
– This is a civil war. You can entertain yourself with some false hopes, but, after having hosted the Geneva Convention, it became clear that it’s all fiction. No wonder after the arrival of Biden, troops moved to the east of Ukraine.
– At first I thought that America’s objective was to create a NATO base, but I was wrong. U.S. goal is to create in Ukraine utter hell. That lasted for years there chaos. Turbulence terrible war. Local skirmishes as prominences, will penetrate the Russian border. It is a source of continuous pain for Russia.”

Disturbs you that much, huh? You can try and pull that bull at MoA; but I’ll label whatever the hell I want in the best interest of the truth, thank you very much! And FYI – Zionists are the real evil.
Don’t bring this up with me again. Now trot on back to the Zioprotectorate you slithered away from.
They did not chose the regime they live under…Russians during the Soviet one.
I’m not so sure this is true. Yes, elections are no criteria for deciding. But what about those who don’t in their hearts oppose. Those who have public sector jobs or those that follow orders. Those who shrug aside the immorality of the empire and continue in their stupor. Can those who can’t point iraq, Vietnam, Ukraine, Afghanistan on a map, shrug off the deaths of the people there? And the Iraqi children born with deformities who do they blame? the Vietnamese children gassed with agent orange. Do all citizens of an empire get a Carte Blanche just because they are ignorant or helpless? I disagree here.
Can we agree that all spilled blood has the same value and is equally precious? That all innocent people deserve compassion and protection?
Agree with the latter question cause I know innocent here does not imply naive. Completely disagree with the first one. But I know the point you are trying to make and i agree with it completely.
Wars are about killing human beings, and I oppose killing human beings. I therefore oppose war on principle. Now, if it is in self-defense or to protect others, and if all other solutions have failed, then I will support military action. But only as a last resort.
Once again agree with you. But there are human beings that cross boundaries. Anyhow, that would be another discussion.

Russia must resist the temptation to strike back at this time. Restraint is of the essence, but that doesn’t mean Putin can’t assist ethnic Russians in other ways via intelligence and other means with covert operations.
After all, the Ukraine side has been getting all kinds of foreign covert operational and mercenary support. More must be done to infiltrate the Neonazi groups and chase down and capture operators. I dunno, maybe put a ransom on their heads, pay collaborators – money’s scare in Ukraine; and everyone and everything no doubt has a price; even treason.
The Ango/Zio empire can’t strike against a level playing field.
Disqus, fortunately (I guess) leaves a record of our posts. On March 4,I asked if “anyone with a lick of sense really supposed that Putin would adopt a fetal posture over the Crimea?..What I am afraid of now is that he will underplay his potential hand with respect to the 8 eastern oblasts and leave the people–who surely deserve a chance to decide for themselves via referendum whether to submit to the West–to their fates.”
That’s what I still am afraid of.It’s hard (for me) to imagine that a showdown with the Americans over the East can be avoided. If Putin had moved in early March, in the East at least, it would be over. Rage though they would, the West could not have reversed it. I still hope to read, come morning, that the generals have had their way and panicky retreats and a stupefied Washington are order of the day. But this hardly seems likely. And the longer this situation festers the more dangerous, and the more burdened with suffering, it becomes. Odessa, with NATO ships close ashore (with permission from Kiev, of course) and Moldova aswarm with NATO forces ‘on maneuver’ is where Russia can’t back down and the West won’t. How can Russia leave people there struggling in the claws of a plundering gangster regime, dominated by criminal oligarchs dependent on thugs, mercenaries and American advisers to stay in power?
A spreading military coup could change the game. But to achieve this Moscow must demonstrate that it is deadly serious, not just talking and posturing; that it is ready, at last,to unleash Russia’s superb army. That means an operation, limited perhaps, but real.
The Iron Chancellor said that “History is not made without blood being shed.” There is no escaping the virtual certainty that some, in these circumstances, will be.
Everything I’ve learned and experienced and observed over the years says that way to limit bleeding is outrun deteriorating events by moving rapidly and decisively. Russia has the military means, a social landscape that welcomes it and a real, and hugely important, moral advantage. It must seize the moment or see it dwindle away.
I should have italicized treason, because the real traitors to Ukraine are those who are selling off Ukraine to the Anglo/Zio Empire. So anyone who collaborates with Russia to rescue Ukraine from these usurpers will be a hero not a traitor in the big picture and in the long run.
Saker 20:05: THANK YOU!!! How can anybody *want* to cause suffering? That’s just so totally unhinged.
uh-huh: It’s not.
вот так: Turning Ukraine into Iraq or Afghanistan has been my greatest fear all along. It was hideous watching that happen; I cannot even imagine living through it. I guess Cargill, Monsanto and Chevron will take tax write-offs, and China will have to look elsewhere to feed its people. (One of the reasons beef is so expensive right now is that China pays ranchers a whole lot more than anyone here; we’ll totally deserve higher grain prices as a result of this abomination and, in case anyone doesn’t know, Corn. Is. In. Everything.)

Saker, I think you are drunk on Putin, combined with disillusionment with the last two administrations’ meddling in foreign policy, and I think you are way over the top with your devotion to every single word that drips from the man’s and his puppet’s lips. Don’t defend yourself on this, I have read your teary eyed analysis of his speeches, and they are quite lacking of any type of skepticism. I almost wonder if you are a KGB plant :)
The man is a dictator, renamed President. Currently, no worse or better than our current dictator, Obama. Not sure why you like Putin and not like Obama. They both have legislatures and court systems that give him free reign. Ours gets it because of the race card, Putin gets it because you don’t mess with the man himself, he has power, money and mafia friends with guns.
Myself? I trust not my own government when it comes to the Ukraine, and not Putin either. Hence, I think my government should just pull back and leave well enough alone. Let the newly minted Crimean Russians enjoy a few decades behind Putin’s iron fist (iron fists can swing both ways, you know?) and/or curtain. Heck, let him take the Eastern Ukraine as well. I actually hope they also take Chernobyl with them, so it won’t be our financial responsibility any longer.
We can satisfy our treaty by sending in NATO to Western Ukraine to protect what is left, therefore saving face. I don’t see it as a big deal. But my own untrustworthy panty wasted President has chosen, for whatever reason, to make it his “Custard’s Last Stand” on his way to lame duck-ness. I guess Obamacare is such an embarrassment that he has to try to appear strong and successful on something. What with 91 million people unemployed and not seeking work, his employment programs didn’t do too much.

“The Saker shared many times in recent days his view that the highest echelon of US military have more common sense than Western politicians, who de facto went amok.
We know as well, both military commands are in constant contact.”
I believe I had read that gang of top military brass in daily contact also includes China. Possibly other nuclear-armed nations. I wish I could remember where I read that but we can only hope that there are people with the will and the means to prevent a nuclear WWIII. Also it was reported that it was the military who stopped the cruise missiles of freedom from being launched on Syria. I’m sure there are elements of the US military- especially Air Force- who are desperately trying to bring about the end of days, and are in league with the Zionists I reckon. Think Minot incident, and what very well could have been a nuclear false flag during the Cheney presidency. Snark. I think a bloodless military coup that arrested the neocons and assorted warmongering crazies and the banksters who love them for treason might be the best thing that could happen to America. Pure wishful thinking, but hey, ya never know.
Glad to see Kalithea here, I enjoyed her posts at MoA. But she beat me to the punch on the Putin trap aspect. To expand on that, perhaps the show of force is exactly what it is- a SHOW of force, to dissuade West Banderistan from attacking the East (further? details are fuzzy). This solves the dilemma if it works- he won’t be accused of doing nothing at home, and he won’t have done ‘enough’ to give NATO their pretext to launch an attack.
Saker, thank you for posting that screed against those seemingly all-for a war, one in which Russia defeats the A/Z empire. I was shocked on a few of those comments. Aloha nui loa.

I have a suggestion to make. The nearby Russian army by the border with the Donbas could drop leaflets on the pathetic, hungry, tired, demoralized Kiev soldiers and offer them promotion, good food, medical attention, and dignity if they will join the Russian army a few miles away. Many might take up the offer since they feel guilty of fighting fellow Slavs, brother and other family members. After all many feel that it is inevitable that Russia will win anyway…and it might save their lives. What do they have to lose?”
Hi Shia Muslim,
Yes to 16, and maybe it’s because they kicked out the Muslim Brotherhood? I’m not sure what to make of this apparent chilling of our “special” relationship with Israel: don’t forget, they’re still trying to expand their borders (waay past the Occupied Territories and Gaza) so they really wouldn’t want to go on record opposing an annexation. My real sense of their rapprochement w/Russia is that they see we’re on the downhill slide and there just isn’t that much more for them to extract from us, or at least won’t be much longer. And again, bad blood between Netanyahu and Obama. I’d like it to be more than that but then, I’d like to see a viable Palestine before that land is just totally paved over and destroyed and its people a sad remnant of their former vibrant society.
Now, as to Sunni and Shi’a, most of the Sunni I have known have been Palestinian so yes, Arabs; I’m guessing the non-Arabs are East Asians, right? Lots of people there, for sure. And yes, I’ve read the history of the “house” of Saud and its ugly deal with the Wahabbis. I’ve read a fair number of Shi’a writings and know enough of your faith and your history to be deeply impressed by both, but I was led to believe that Lebanon (Arab) and Iran were pretty much the center of your faith. Am I wrong on that?
As regards the Muslim Brotherhood, didn’t it start in Egypt as a resistance to Farouk? My memory is a bit fuzzy but I think that was it, and of course it was a very anti-colonialist movement and therefore we were 100% against it. But now it’s been co-opted by the US and Israel, which is why Morsi was kicked out in Egypt? What I’m truly uncertain about (not that I might not be totally wrong in everything else I wrote above!) is the role it is now playing in Qatar (we’ve got a base there, and control Al Jazeera so I’m assuming it’s basically “on our side”), Libya, Syria and Jordan (which, sadly, has become like Poland in being basically our lackey). So that’s my real source of confusion, unless I’ve managed to get everything totally confused. I do know that before we destroyed Iraq, despite the vast difference in population and status (Shi’a majority, Sunni still ran things), not only did people co-exist but various clans and tribes had members of each faith. We, of course, ruined that along with everything else in the country. About which I will never not feel guilty, even though there was nothing anyone could do to stop our onslaught.
If the NATO involvement is confirmed, the Chinese and the Russian must immediately break the US dollar.
This needs to be put to a stop before it spirals out of control.
The consequences otherwise are catastrophic for all humanity and the US secret cabal will not go down without bringing the rest of the world with it.
It’s time to put a stop to the US nonsense.
Well now, Amnesty International, of all faux-concerned groups, has actually said something appropriate about Ukraine:
“Ukrainian forces must respect international standards on use of force, Amnesty International said on its website responding to reports of fatal shootings of anti-government activists at several checkpoints in Slavyansk.
“International standards on the use of force and firearms are clear – law enforcement officials should resort to the use of firearms only in defence against an imminent threat of death or serious injury. They should apply other non-violent means before resorting to the use of force, and the use of firearms must always be the last resort. When the use of force and firearms is unavoidable they must exercise restraint and take steps to minimize damage and injury and preserve life,” Heather McGill, Ukraine Researcher at Amnesty International, has said.
Amnesty stressed that “an independent, impartial investigation should be launched into the events leading up to today’s reported loss of life at checkpoints around Slavyansk,” adding that “if it is found the Ukrainian forces violated international standards and resorted to arbitrary or abusive use of force, they must be brought to justice.”
http://rt.com/news/eastern-ukraine-army-operation-680/
I wonder if we’ll be hearing from Ms. McGill again…

Besides read about the Committee of 300, who are most like the masters running the western genocidal run towards total world domination of that elite.

In Poland it’s quite calm now on private and state TV/media comparing to total hysteria, anti-Russian frenzy, rabid attacks on Putin, war and fear-mongering 2 months ago. Actually the worst are usual rusophobic and pro-West commenters on the major Internet portals, many of them paid trolls of course. Also the subversive 5th column, in form of the biggest opposition party Law&Justice, is loud and busy but that is expected. Certainly there is something behind the scenes going on. Either it’s a calm before the tempest or EU has finally struck some reasonable deal with Russia sidelining the US bully.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12 KJV)
Russia watches the Anglo-America-Zionist-Empire in the Ukraine, trying to drive a virtual wedge between Germany and Russia. When I see these events in the larger context of geographic space and historical time, Russia waits patiently for the emergence of a new axis of world power from Berlin to Shanghai. Russia is astride the geographic and historical axis of this emerging reality, a reality challenging the virtual reality of imperial mythology. The Ukraine is the stage on which the Empire makes a desperate effort to maintain the fiction of omnipotence, but here the corruption, lying and stealing at the heart of the Empire is revealed.
When I have traveled in these parts, I see late at night the Russians and Germans are natural allies, but time is required to discredit and dissolve the Empire’s ad hoc control of Germany. Every day fifteen sealed trains leave Munich for China and two pipes of Nord Stream pour Russian natural gas into Germany. The rail lines are being upgraded and two more pipes lines are on the drawing board to facilitate trade and development in honest partnership, rather than imperial predation illustrated and proposed through space and time by the Empire of Finance and War. Vladimir Putin was stationed in Dresden, and no doubt knows a deep German mind which stills remembers that the aspirations of the German Nation were thwarted twice in the last century by the Anglo-America-Zionist-Empire. There are Germans who have not forgotten and they too wait to shake off the chains of the Anglo-America-Zionist-Empire.
Poland, Western Ukraine, Baltic States, NATO, UN, IMF, USD etc. are the past. The Empire of Finance and War is an ad hoc, virtual reality of the present, but real power of is just beyond the present in the near future. The principled, educated human mind of Russia emerges from terrible suffering of the last century. Virtual reality is impotent before the hard reality of power on the ground married to the principled human mind. This requires competence, patience, suffering, and work of principled human beings. I wait for the collapse of the myth of the Empire’s omnipotent military and its almighty USD.
When the myths collapse geographic space and historic time will move instantly into the void. I pray this change in the direction of life on earth will be without bloodshed. There will be the suffering and the stench of collapse in the Empire, but there may be an awakening of the human spirit in the West which will sweep the money changers from the temples of power, so mankind can get back to honest labor and honest life; rather than a world of lying and stealing for our daily bread. The corruption of Empire is not a worthy life for a man or woman who claims to be a human being!
Thank you for your role in the struggle for decency in human affairs, Mr. Saker!

Saker –
After observing the Graham Phillips footage of the Ukrainian Army ‘attack’ on a rebel checkpoint, I can see why his BBC ‘colleague’ for whom he has so much respect claims it’s staged. But here’s the problem — the rebels don’t have such armored vehicles of BTR type, they captured a different type and at any rate seem unlikely to have had the fuel to drive them over to that checkpoint. In other words, yes the event was staged but not by Graham or the rebels, but by the Ukrainian forces present. That was the Ukrainian army pretending to fight.
In reality the colonel probably told his men just give them a good scare to scatter them with a few shots in the air or vicinity, then pull back. How else to explain the ‘pro-Kiev’ forces pulling back so that the masked rebels returned with their AKs? It seems at least part of the forces sent in for the latest ‘counter-terrorist operation’ on the Ukrainian side are just playing at war. The bearded ‘GRU spetsnaz’ Cossack guy who was interviewed by Time Magazine’s Simon Schustry seems to have caught on. His guys said, ‘hey media is trying to show big war here but there is no war’. Either Kiev is so weak that it doesn’t have the forces to even push into Slaviasnk much less take Donetsk and Lugansk against even more heavily armed opposition (quite likely) or the Ukrainian colonels down to the starshini sergeant level are just pretending to fight but have in fact made some tacit deals, not directly with the rebels because that could lead to court martial or being assassinated by the putsch but more likely agreeing behind the scenes with the Russians calling them up not to kill civilians or engage in actual fighting unless fired upon. In other words a Donbass version of the Crimea truce that prevailed until Ukrainian units were finally expelled from the isthmus without anything more than passive resistance.
What I’m trying to say is perhaps the fears of many here that Putin will take the bait and step into the trap of a Ukrainian guerilla war or just Russia as the new Evil Empire again won’t quite work the way the globalists planned. Putin may be outsmarting them again by convincing/threatening/bribing enough Ukrainian military and even SBU units to basically pretend to fight the rebels while secretly doing as little as possible. Sooner or later given the pathetic attack on the Slaviasnk checkpoint Thursday the Western MSM presstitutes especially the fanatics over the Interpreter Mag might catch on, they certainly weren’t impressed with the checkpoint ‘shootout’ today.
Saker — what I’m trying to say is:
even the Russian buildup on the Ukrainian border which now includes artillery according to YouTube images published at the pro-Kiev, ‘Khodorkovsky-funded’ Interpreter Mag site may be a feint on Putin’s part to get as much Ukrainian Army equipment deployed to the border as possible. This way if the generals and colonels drag their feet when given orders from Kiev to attack the rebels in Donetsk and Lugansk, they can make the excuse that they cannot spare the forces much less hand them over to untrained (but loyal and bloodthirsty) Right Sector goons and loyalist SBU units with manpower inadequate for the task. In this way:
1) Putin defeats both the junta’s plan to bait him into invading SE Ukraine
2) the Russian buildup on the border gives the Ukie generals and colonels who’ve received those late night phone calls from ‘brother officers in Russia’ warning them not to kill civilians an excuse NOT to attack the rebels and give Putin the ‘pretext to invade’.
At least for the sake of peace and preserving human lives on ALL SIDES this is what I hope is happening. This way D.C. and the Junta don’t get their war, the referendum electing representatives of Donetsk and Lugansk regions who can negotiate with the Junta happens in mid-May, and the Kiev Junta loses its pretext to cancel the elections of May 25 that will it can be hoped bring into office new Ukrainian parliamentarians who are willing to negotiate with the Southeast and give them autonomy.
The only way Washington can foil such a seemingly foolproof plan is to start killing the Ukrainian army commanders who are holding up the show and put some SBU asset in charge who will offer higher bribes to the Right Sector thugs presently unwilling to risk their own skins in true urban combat. But I don’t think the globalists will be able to get away with that!
From Zero Hedge:
Ukraine’s foreign ministry has given Russia a 48-hour ultimatum to explain its military exercises near the nation’s border; or, as foreign minister Andriy Deshschytisa warns “we will now fight with Russia troops.”

This was stated by Chief of the Regional Department of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Petro Lutsyuk.

We must at his own expense to ensure they form a technique to complete the construction of the premises and to pay salaries. Во Владикавказе открылся музей жертв агрессии стран НАТО и США (Vladikavkaz has opened a museum of the victims of aggression, NATO and the United States)
http://lifenews.ru/news/131654
(auto trans) “Gathered in the city library exhibits show the mass extermination of civilians in a military alliance.
Unusual museum exhibition opened in the city library of Vladikavkaz. Exhibits show the mass extermination of the inhabitants in different parts of the world in different years from the military forces of NATO and the U.S. From the Vietnam war in the 60s to prepare Georgia for an armed attack on South Ossetia in 2008.
On this day in the city of Vladikavkaz library especially crowded. Here and political analysts and officials, and members of national communities. But the most welcome guests – local schoolchildren. So North Ossetia opens museum of the victims of aggression, NATO and the United States. Endorsed the idea of its appearance head of the republic.
– Our children need to know with whom we are dealing. We never went beyond its borders, but to pursue the criminals who attacked us. We must say to our children: the last years of any presidency – the bloody events unleashed by the Americans – said the head of North Ossetia Teimuraz Mamsurov.
The exhibition throughout the warnings: “Children under 16 are not admitted.” Highlights of this exhibition – many photos of dead and wounded, posters with the image of American politicians, and more – with bloody soldiers dollars in hands.
The new museum of his rangers collected almost the entire history of violence on the part of the international military bloc and the U.S.. Here and extermination of the Indians, and the deportation of the Japanese, and nuclear weapons, and Vietnam. And loud events in Ukraine.
– The United States and NATO have imagined yourself to be those who can dictate to the world that you can do, and what not, – says the chairman of the public movement “Our Ossetia” Vyacheslav Lagkuev.
After a short hike through the halls silently Ossetian schoolchildren sit at the computer. Long and intently write something. Teachers do not interfere, they know that this idea has long nurtured children. Vladikavkaz English high school students wrote to U.S. President. Message sent to the address of the website of the White House in Washington. Barack Obama disciples 5th school requested that Ukraine finally at peace.
After viewing the exhibition, there were several entries in the guestbook. Ossetian school students write differently, but – as one. “We want peace in the world”, “America and NATO should respect other countries.” A loud, not saying a word, teens added: “We want our museum to work around the clock and never had a war.”
There needs to be many more of these museums around the world.
The best thing that Putin can do is not to invade Ukraine because that is exactly what the psychopaths of the anglo-zionist empire want. He should send instead small arms and guns to all eastern Ukrainians who will deal with the nazis thugs and the US mercenaries killers themselves.
It is obvious that the US dollar is on the verge of collapse and the anglo-zionist scums want a world war so they can blame Russia and China and deflect the rage of the ignorant peoples in the West against their massive frauds and crimes.

The “Shia crescent” as described by king Abdullah of Jordan extends from eastern Saudi Arabia to Lebanon. If you were to take the region of just the Middle East from the Suez till Iran, then the shi’a population is pretty high.
Majority in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Bahrain
Sizeable minority in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Syria and Yemen.
Oman is ibadhi Muslim. An offshoot of the Kharajis that has morphed into something else. But in some ways a precursor to wahabbi thought. (What is very strange about history is how it applies or mirrors itself today. Though Oman is a part of the GCC it is still pragmatically closest to Iran. In Islamic history the Kharajis were allies of Ali ibn Abu Talib (a.s) till they went heretical and were killed by hm. an entire people persued for their thinking, because it would be so poisonous later. Their spiritual descendants tend to be close to Iran)
Allied minorities in Syria, Yemen, UAE, and Oman I.e., the seveners, the fivers, the allawites or nusaris, the Druze.
The countries that have a shia majority have bigger numbers such as 70 million, 60 million, etc. where they are a minority the total population is 16 million, 11 million etc.
There is another twist to the tale. In the Great War for civilisation by Robert Fisk, he states what others will not. That the oil is only under the Shia areas even in the Sunni lands. Sunni wealth has throughout history depended on keeping the Shia poor. I can point you the page number if you want.
This is a good video by an Indian academic journalist, Saeed Naqvi (the naqvi denotes his ancestry, you can 10 to 1 identify shias and sunnis by their names), about the Arab spring.
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RkKnxe_HPpM
You can also search it on YouTube as Saeed Naqvi Arab spring.
“but I was led to believe that Lebanon (Arab) and Iran were pretty much the center of your faith. Am I wrong on that?”
In the Middle East there have been two traditional centres of Shia theology. Najaf in Iraq and Qom in Iran. Qom thrived only when Najaf was under duress. Even today the centre remains Najaf in Iraq. More Shias are in the “taqlid” of Sistani than any other Marja. Even most Iranians.
I had a Christian friend who shifted to the USA. She told me that the Muslims are to blame for their mess. They keep blaming the imperial powers for their ills but their house is not in order. “You allowed all this to happen”. Which is in many ways true.
Look at Iraq now. It’s a shame that after coming to power the Shia politicians are only enriching themselves. It’s the same in Iran too. Inevitable.

One last thing on the simplicity of the Muslims and their gullibility and the shia love for the Ahlulbayt. There was a video I saw on BBC after the invasion of Iraq. American GIs wanted to talk to Sistani and were walking towards his house which is in the vicinity of the imam Ali (as) mosque. Sistani refused to meet them. When they kept approaching the Shia formed a human chain. The Americans realising that they could not proceed and turned back, but the situation was tense. Before turning their commander bent his head to Ali’s mosque, this immediately pacified the Shia. Show a bit of comapassion and they love you.
I was told by someone of an incident that occurred in Karbala a 100 years ago when the British had occupied Iraq. There were riots in Karbala against the British. To quell the unrest the British organised a march past. When they were passing the shrine of Shahid as Shohada (the only man referred to by the name of his youngest martyred son and in whose shrine a travellers prayers are prayed as full and whose importance to Islam many Sunnis, but not all, miss to their own detriment, whose love is obligatory on Mulsims and who was killed thirsty and hungry by the followers of his grandfather, whose status is very high, who is one of the five from under the cloak, whose enemies are referred to as “laeen” or cursed, and for him when one cries in prayer Allah permits it, whose rememberence brings reformation, and the last for now, a rider whose mount as a child was the prophet in prostration, a prophet who lengthened his sujood so that his grandson could finish playing on his back) imam Hussain ibn Ali (as), the English commander asked his company to salute the shrine.
There was no more trouble in Karbala after that.

As far as any escalation on to a full blown Russian invasion into Ukraine, this is really problematic for the European continent. It has everything to do with the nucolar power stations. They are mostly to the west. That said, if they are anything like the US versions, powered by the grid for their safety systems, there is no way to “safely” execute a war without one or more of them potentially melting. Not saying that that would happen by default. The problem is, it CAN happen, for ANY of a number of reasons. War is grease for all kinds of mishaps and idiot provocations.
This would be a bad outcome for Europe.

hey, i just don`t get it why Putin does not pay UA military to do a coup in Kiev? or is it his last move before war?
I just had to pick this up over at MoA:
Call me naive, but Jews have lived with Russians for hundreds of years. I think Jews have more culturally in common with Russians than they do with Protestant Americans. – Demian
Naive, not so much; deceptive, yes! First, I’m sure CUFI begs to differ with this point.- lol!
When the Soviet Union fell apart, a group of vultures, who just happened to be culturally well-aligned Jews swooped in exploiting this unguarded moment in time and tried to sack everything in sight belonging to all Russians. (Sorry if I offended vultures with my analogy.)
And this comment by someone else speaks volumes about…:
Apparently Anti-Zionism is frowned on, while Russophobia is accepted, so no boot for Cold.
…b’s integrity and that of a lot of others over there.
A breath of fresh air will quickly dissipate in a den filled with duplicity. They should know over there: You can’t have two masters: Zionism and the Truth.
Shia are a majority in the Gulf region and sit on almost all of the oil.
Rouhani is a internationalist globalist, backed by oligarchs like Rafsanjani (who has publically stated he cares little about Syria and was intially critical of Putin on Ukraine).
Iran is being aggressively courted by Obama because an alliance between Iran, Russia and China would be an economic and energy behemoth and likely cut America out of the European energy market altogether. If other nations in the region overturn their Sunni Arab leaders the US could find itself zero allies in the region.
It is almost impossible to overstate the stupidity and destructiveness of US foreign policy since the Arab Spring revolutions were first instigated. America stands to lose everything. Even Israel seems to be angling towards Russia (voting with Russia at the UN over Crimea) in anticipation of the possible catastrophic collapse of American political power in the region.
Iran may well be the hail Mary option for the US government to rescue its fortunes as a superpower.
Rouhani is opposed by a partially discredited religious establishment but the current Ayatollah is still in a strong position to block any deals with the West. US actions in Ukraine have strengthened his hand.
The problem for Shia, like everyone else, is a rotten and corrupt ruling class.

According Sivkova not matter much, in what form, participants were equipped with attacks on checkpoints Sloviansk as any ammunition readily available on the market.
– Speaking of the form, then it should not be tied. It can be purchased, and, given the plight of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Natsgvardii, this form could buy in the shop, – said Konstantin Sivkov. – Where more critical method of warfare.
– First, it is a way to combat instructions cottages. They are not carried out on the radio or in some other way, and with the help of messengers, as in 1812. This means that even the SBU officers do not trust – said Sivkov. – Secondly, the small groups. If the goal is to take the city, then 8-10 APCs, 3 helicopters and 100-120 personnel is not enough to occupy the whole city.
Another proof of the actions of armed mercenary group – is, according to experts, the lack of an attack on a checkpoint armored vehicles.
– Just one shot to destroy the outpost, but they attack with automatic weapons, are suffering losses and retreat. Incidentally, the fact of the divergence at losses of 5 to 10% also said that it mercenaries – Sivkov assured.

In conclusion Sivkov said that binds frequent provocations in various cities of the south-east and the Donetsk region in particular to the fact that the referendum, scheduled for May 11 , Kiev doing its utmost to frustrate.
– As soon as the referendum will be held, the authorities southeast immediately become legal. Attacks will become more problematic, and the troops stationed in the south-east, will automatically switch over to the new independent region.”
I was relieved to see this item when I went on RT this morning under the headline, “Russia to call up UNSC meeting if Kiev continues military crackdown.” Time is on Russia’s side if they can put a brake on escalation from their side.
http://rt.com/news/154716-churkin-ukraine-russia-usa/
If Kiev does not immediately stop military operations against popular protest, Russia will call for an urgent UNSC meeting and in the worst case scenario reserves the right to deploy armed forces to stop bloodshed, UN envoy Vitaly Churkin said.
“If we will continue to see what we witnessed today, if the use of force against the protest movement in the east and south-east of Ukraine will continue, we will convene an emergency meeting of the Security Council,” he said, adding though that historically the UNSC was unable to reach a consensus on a number of issues.

A few things about the merc article.
It’s interesting that the banderivtsy are using couriers for communications. Fear of Russian interception of messages is one obvious reason. I think that is what Sivkov meant, but the translation isn’t very clear. Another reason is language differences between the various units.
The part about the referendum date being a deadline for banderivtsy conquest of the regions I had not heard before. If they can hold out till then, vote indy, they’ll be home free. If the reasoning is accurate?
In the ‘Free Press’ in Australia, the Russian self-defence forces in eastern Ukraine are now referred to as ‘militants’ and ‘terrorists’, preparing the brain-dead majority, who couldn’t locate Ukraine on a map, with the excuse to go into full ‘enthusiastic loyalist’ mode. It comes as today, 25th April, ‘celebrates’ ANZAC Day the national day of remembrance of those who fought in all our wars as eager stooges of the Anglosphere Empire. And I see the filthy The Guardian, has a well-groomed young ‘pillow-biter’ name of Steve Bloomfield, urging that the evil RT be banned in the UK, in the name of the Free Press and ‘Western moral values’. Giving the game away young Stevie recounts various abominable acts of Thought Crime by RT operatives, most of which -mirabile dictu- consisted of saying unallowable (if accurate) things about Jews and their power in the West. I believe that ‘Bloomfield’ is, itself, a well-known old Palestinian family name.

@Nora on 24 April, 2014 23:09,
I see Mindfrido has answered some of your question, though on couple of points, I disagree with him.
The capital is always been Iraq, where out of the 12 imams, most are buried there and have shrine there. Najaf, Iraq is the capital of Shia, where imam Ali (as) the first Shia imam is buried. Thirty years, after the death of Prophet Mohammad (saws), Imam Ali (as) moved the Muslim Capital from Mecca, Saudi Arabia to Najaf, Iraq. The rest is history how the Muslim prospered from there on in all areas of knowledge. Including, Islamic Philosophy called, “Kalam”.
Yes, Mindfrido is correct most Shia now follow Sistani in Iraq.
The Muslim downfall came when they started debating Imam Ali (as) sermons about God. If one doesn’t understand the Shia religion, then they believe Shia believe and pray to a ROBOT GOD.
Before, the Sunni were called Sunni, they were into two groups. Muʿtazilah who preserved and highly debated the Greek Philosophy and Ashʿari. The Muʿtazilah in 8th century came to the conclusion based on Imam Ali (as) sermons on God, that God doesn’t exist. The Ashʿari started persecuting the Muʿtazilah, and the few remaining Muʿtazilah become Shia. From then on the Ashʿari closed the doors on knowledge. NO MORE DISCUSSIONS.
If you are interested, I will post the sermons?
Mindfrido is wrong when he says that Imam Ali (as) killed all the Kharijites (meaning, went out). No! Imam Ali (as) forgave them and spared them. For this reason, Imam Ali (as) was and still is highly criticized by Muslims. But look today, these people are the majority in Oman as Mindfrido pointed out. Mindfrido, also pointed out that they are the friends of Iran. Today, the Omani Muslims are the best of the Muslims and anyone use the derogatory term like Kharijites against them, it boils my blood and my BP overshoots.
Yes, Prophet Mohammad (saws) has said that they will be Kharijites in all times. Today, most Muslims consider Wahhabi as Kharijites.
On other point, yes the Muslim Brotherhood is your friend, meaning friend of USA. But recently, Saudi Arabia like Egypt, has designated the Muslim Brotherhood as terrorist group.
Best regards,
A Shia Muslim.
Kalithea, you have the US political system in a nutshell. You had a choice in 2012 between Romney, a Mormon fascist who apparently believed in the White Horse prophecy, that a Moron,,oops…’Mormon’ President would save the USA in its hour of need, and so figured that he was the ‘Chosen One’, and Obama, Zionist property since college, and a florid psychopath. Lucky country! I reckon Romney would certainly have been more ‘his own man’, but whether things would have turned out different-God knows.
I share your feeling. I was raging yesterday on Reddit at people who praise the war and were justifying the killing of 5 “Russian agents”. They make me sick. Tired of anti-Russian propaganda, tired of hearing my country called fascist. Are there any news of who the 5 victims were? All I know is the last one died in the hospital and their cars were burned to the ground. Were they identified?

Dear Saker,
Just a curiosity a bit off topic:
Yesterday zerohedge had the headline “US/European Equity Indices Are Tumbling”. Later on, in the German television during the “Börse vor acht”, a three minutes stock information platform just before the “Tagesschau” (German channel 1 news), the guy reporting that the Dax had slumped told the audience twice with an earnest face that the tumble was all Putin fault. No kidding. It sure looks that they are afraid.

The majority of people listed with this surname is described as being Jewish, just like the few Blooms I have encountered in my life.

Be careful, the owner of this website is an eccentric, if Nazi, Briton who has been jailed many times because of his Thought Crimes. The smart Nazis are jailed, the dumb ones paraded in the media.
John Kerry lashing out at RT, calling it propaganda bullhorn, and Russian news crew ‘attacked and abducted’ by 30 masked men in Donetsk.
I wonder if this is coordinated. In any event, these are the right thing to do if you want to wage brutal way. The Kiev junta certainly has received US suggestions on how to do it.
Since Brennan and Biden, it looks like the US is determined to do force the Kiev junta – which without the political, moral, media, intelligence and financial support of the US, would be finished in a blink – to start a civil war. Probably to drag in Russia, and make Europe cut her ties to Russia. The former is likely, the latter: we’ll see.
Honk
Mindfriedo,
“but I was led to believe that Lebanon (Arab) and Iran were pretty much the center of your faith.” Wow, did I state that poorly! Dear Heavens, I was *thinking* population/power, not faith, but you’d sure never know it! Whew. And yes, every time I think of Najaf, I shudder first at that bombing. I disagree with your Christian friend though — that’s just blaming the victim when part of the victimization is precisely the strategy of driving a wedge between two groups of people, and there are certainly plenty example of that among Christians. N. Ireland comes to mind for sure but it’s really only been the past 40 years or so that Catholics and Protestants in the US have, for the most part, had a bit of a truce. Now I know the Ottomans were Sunni so that’s how Sunni got their power in Iraq, etc., but I really don’t know much about the Gulf States: how did their leaders happen to be Sunni? It sounds like something the British would have done? Also, names revealing Sunni vs. Shi’a — like what? That’s wild! And now I will Google ibadhi and Kharajis, since I’m not familiar with either, and check out your other URLs later today when I have a chance. Thank you.
A Shia Muslim,
I would be very interested in the sermons, and more history rescources likewise. I thought I knew at least a little bit about the break but obviously not enough! And, coming up to the present time, I’m wondering how we managed to turn the Muslim Brotherhood from an enemy into an asset.
