Ukraine unofficially has 272 percent inflation. And is not a Kremlin-sponsored propaganda outlet which says so, or some rabidly nationalistic Russian blogger, but the very AngloZionist Washington Post. In the same article, the WAPO also states that the Hrivna is in free fall:
Whether this admission is made in the hopes of getting more funding to the Kiev regime or whether its intention is to signal that it is time for everybody to get the hell out of Dodge is anybody’s guess, but I personally am much more inclined to believe the latter version. The WAPO actually says that “it’s hard to overstate how challenged Ukraine is” and “Ukraine’s annual inflation is already 272 percent, and, even worse, is picking up speed. Indeed, its monthly inflation rate is 64.5 percent—which translates to 39,000 percent inflation over a year—more than enough to qualify it for “hyperinflation” status” (read the full article, it is very interesting).
Does anybody still believe that this regime of Nazi freaks is viable?
The Saker
What if pro-USA Ukraine gets 50 billion, wont that fix their economy?
No. They have no economy. Their industrial and mining sectors produced for Russia. They have a war in their economic heartland and they are conscripting their workers. $50 Bil just keeps the war going and the corpse warm.
In a word, NO! It would allow the plutocrats to buff up their piracy skills.
Exactly. “Ukraine” wouldn’t get jack. No matter how much money, it will be split between international bankers (nominally “creditors”, except Russian ones of course) and regime oligarchs with fast fingers. The Ukrainian economy gets nothing and so isn’t fixed.
It’s all okay. Kiev is having a yard sale. Everything has to go. Cash only.
It’s OK, the Empire already has their gold “in safe keeping”, everything else is fungible
I am surprised by how long the Kiev regime manages to hang on to power despite all its problems.
Need rioters ( an the UKR military disaffected by the new economic collapse ) in the streets to knock off the US Yats Regime pollution and then take down the more insane Nazis in the parliament. Tall order for the 1/2 brainwashed young.

[edit] Angered UAF soldiers appeal to Poroshenko. About economical situation in the country
Greece can’t have a currency hyperinflation unless/until they revert to their local drachma currency after exiting the euro.
banksters are even now setting their banquet tables readying for a feast on one of their top huge ceremonial number dates–friday march the 13th!
The problem is that this will come far too late to satisfy not only the upcoming IMF payments (as a reminder these are due as follows: €350 million on March 13, €580 million on March 16 and another €350 million on March 20), but now that Greece no longer has access to the various pension and social security funding “swaps” it may even be unable to rollover its next T-Bill maturity. Recall Greece has a total of €2 billion in debt-servicing payments, including T-bill redemptions and IMF obligations coming due on Friday.

Anonymous, what about the 4-month “bridge loan”; doesn’t that cover servicing the pre-existing loans? I thought that was its primary function.
as mentioned a few days ago, if russia ever was to strike a deal with greece for that turkstream pipeline transit/fees, this key time here is where it would happen.
I try not to get bogged down in the blizzard of number details in any story, plus i don’t have the time, so i follow key indicators & possible black swans at a superficial level.
interesting these past 2 years +, the key story not ever ever mentioned by any so called financial analyst i’ve seen involves the absolute biggest pool of money by far, the bond markets, which btw have issued worldwide a few tens of trillions in new debt since 2008!
how is it that the us gov 10-year “note” (shorter than a bond, which is 20+) has never seen a recovery to the old highs of 2012, despite the 30-yr doing so–the 10-yr is a punier market, & as such inflows net of a few tens of billions at most would have boosted its value, no, like the 30-year has?
and why in that same timeframe have german bonds (issued in the euro, tho) given a lower= perceived lower overall risk yield than the us 30-year bond?
iow, the yield on euro debt has not blown skyward, completely contrary to what all the “end of the euro nigh” hysteria claims these past months, including the notorious zh site which many have noted are always at the exact opposite end of what actually unfolds!
this despite the nonstop propaganda from the very fed-financed clique of media monkeys blaring about how the “reserve currency” is always the safest!–it’s not what the yield comparison says.

finally, the supposed safe swissie is nearly back to where it was (strong) before the snb put the 1.20 hard peg on in sept/2011! that lasted almost 3.5 years.
but this time, after un-pegging that on jan 14, they announced a “soft” peg only, at 1.05.
and the xsf has just blown right through that in 7 weeks, now 1.0143:
finviz.com/futures_charts.ashx?t=6S&p=w1
so let’s see here: 3.5 years/7 weeks= this bankster bag of trix hasn’t lasted 1/25 as long!
time for something else any day here.
What happens when Greeks are short of money to buy goods?
That’s what is going to happen and not hyper inflation. With derivatives, the cost of borrowing for Greeks will shoot sky high. CDO’s use a little known trick to insure something that is not directly connectable, so you can insure the life of say a President and then collect the payout. It seems it is legal except for a few select people. They don’t need your signature or consent. But the effects of such a thing is it does affect your value because someone far away with no connection to you is betting on you. A strange way that would only work when the US is involved.
So we are going to see a massive shortage of money in Greece and the government lacking funding because the interest rates for them to borrow money is so high. Without the ECB giving them money Greece would be in the same boat as a worthless currency. So in essence the people having every worthless money or lack of money becomes the very same thing. It all is controlled by the US. You can break the link if the Chinese or Russians want to help out the Greeks. And since it is not an actual link but only a gimmick, it can be easily broken. When India stopped allowing foreigners to own Indian stocks, they started trading CDO’s in Singapore which traded on par.. But soon, Singapore was pulling the strings even though no stocks or indexes were directly tied to it. This is what globalization does. Hearsay and speculation seems to be worth a lot more than the actual asset. Paper and electronic numbers seem to set the rules for real world assets. Those who control the paper seem to be able to control demand and supply and also price. What a weird world we live in. Where some far oily snake in NY controls what we pay to breath and eat.

I get cognitive dissonance when things change too fast & I’m having trouble taking all this in. Strelkov and an entire faction is trying to overthrow Putin? But I thought it was a stable govt. No, I can’t believe this isn’t a bit overstated.
@ Penelope,
Q: Strelkov and an entire faction is trying to overthrow Putin?
R: Look at where we are today. The west has been trying for over a year so very hard to drag Russia [Putin] knee-deep into this [Ukrainian] morass, but Putin’s feet are dry. Despite all he Machiavellian scheming around him [5th column elements at home, seething US at the borders], Putin has shown himself to be both a rock and water. Solid when he needs to be [Crimea], soft when things change for the worse [sanctions].
Putin took a 10% cut on his monthly paycheck… Imagine, how that’s spun in Wall Street Circles. “He’s a billionaire anyway, barf, barf, barf…”
He leads by example [and that’s the only way I appreciate it]. Obombi could learn a thing or two, if he wasn’t so ff-ing arrogant. Putin will go down in the history books as the only. early 21st, statesman, even without a Nobel Peace Prize, and he deserves it.
the salary cut declaration was the truth…he posted it for Russians. Should he keep silent about it ?
@ Ann,
The following question is to understand where you’re coming from [because I don’t understand why you ask your question]; are you a native English speaker?
Ann, your posts here and elsewhere don’t really make a point or ask a relevant question. They go off on bizarre tangents.
It doesn’t appear that English is a difficult language for you and I have to wonder then if you might perhaps be a pixel persona and your posts generated by software?
Ann never writes books like some of us do. She reads and listens, then adds a sentence or two as she would speak in a normal conversation. Her words are part of the context, not stand-alone articles. Perhaps her typing is too slow to put more.
She’s a fierce defender of Saker and regulars if they’re attacked. Please don’t attack her.
If you are on good speaking terms with her then perhaps you could tell her to desist from accusing me of being a ‘liberal’. I take umbrage at gratuitous pigeon-holing ad hominem remarks.
There’s nothing bizarre about Ann’s comment. She is challenging the implied criticism of Putin’s having announced his paycut. And she’s correct. Certainly there is nothing in general wrong w her comments either. I don’t understand the point of your vague criticism, which seems to go off on an unwanted tangent.
@ Penelope,
Q: There’s nothing bizarre about Ann’s comment. She is challenging the implied criticism of Putin’s having announced his paycut.
R: ‘paycut’ [sic]. Implied by whom?
Daniel Rich: Did you read the article. The first part is nothing. You have to go down to the Strelkov part.
@ Penelope,
I speed read it. Suddenly Russians have died by their thousands in the Donbass [a cover story to distract from the huge Ukrainian losses]. Now we have infighting in the Donbass. Cui bono?
I don’t think both republics are joined at the hip and with several ‘independent’ commanders out there an element of chaos can easily be triggered and/or exploited.
It’s therefore recommendable to leave one’s emotion on the other side of the door [and out of sight] and tackle the tidewater of information in a calm but dedicated manner.
Rome wasn’t built overnight and neither will Donetsk be resurrected.
Personally I’m glad I’m not in Mr. Putin’s shoes at the moment, because all this must be extremely stressful [remember Mr. Putin tearing up in Mongolia?].
Daniel Rich: Obviously ou didn’t read it.
fortruss posts weird stuff ,,, some of those photos of Nemyov were fake

Ouch – that piece goes on and on… Internal Russian politics is Greek to me. Not being there, not being a native speaker, there is really no way I can understand the details in any meaningful way. But something did trigger a “red flag”:
Thus, a relatively peaceful street is a thing of the past. But the street factor is not removed from the agenda, this is what Nemtsov said about it on January 25, 2015 on “Hromadske.TV”:
“I think the problem, including of peace with Ukraine, is decided by the street. If out on the street, to the anti-war march came out a million people… I think it would solve the problem…”.
The Americans need the street, but it must be a new street a la Grushevsky in Moscow.
To ensure that the street is not peaceful, a radicalization of the protest is required. Please note that all the talking heads at Nemtsov’s march talked about the “terrible atmosphere in the society, that Putin, even if not involved in the murder of Boris Nemtsov, is still to blame, since he contributed to the creation of the atmosphere of intolerance and violence in society”, etc. Here is an example from Maksim Katz:
Use of the term street, the street or similar involving the word street in such a manner is USA east coast yuppy speak, especially used in the north (Wash. DC region and to the north). It means something like “what the people on the street think”. But those who use this terminology are the sort who lived privileged yuppy east coast lives whose knowledge of things outside gated communities, secure Manhattan strongboxes and what they see in the zionazi media is zero. From what I’ve seen written on the web by these “experts” at Jewish dominated sites (a per-requisite, BTW), such as Mondoweiss & Firedoglake, for example, is content free verbosity – to put it politely. I have never seen Russians use this terminology at all. It appears to be limited to pindo sheltered privileged class web intercourse, and is absent from Brit (Anglo ex-empire) and Euro sites. This leads me to think the material originates from the sort of east coast “educated” America that populates the think tanks, the regime policy planners and bureaucracy and the zionazi disinfo establishment that greases the exploitation machinery of all of the above.
Due to that, my gut feeling says it’s disinfo.
BOT TAK; I know the piece is long, but the interesting part is AFTER the part that you noted– where it deals w Strelkov and Bordai and how they came to be chosen for defense and PM of Novorossiya, why they left, etc. It’s mostly quotes and COULD be disinfo, but does fit w some other things. I’m sorry; I can’t summarize it, but it’s shocking & I think you should read it.
As for “the street” being used; it could be the particular person being quoted was Western educated or just reads Engish, was attracted to the colorful phraseology and appropriated it. I can always tell when a Spanish speaker has been educated in English due to the direct translation of certain phrases, parallel analogy, etc.
@Penelope
I read the whole article yesterday and agree the stuff it says about Strelkov and Bordai I was a bit : 0 taken aback to say the least. It insinuates that Strelkov basically could have defended Slavyansk and basically left and relinquished nearly half of DPR incld. Kramatorsk etc. to the Junta forces. It also implies that he is in cahoots with the liberals to bring down Putin too. That is a liberal/conservative nexsus.
That section of the article I have been mulling over – it possibly could be true based on liberals and conservatives (who are Atlantacist Intergationists) coming together against Putin, but, I don’t think Col Cassad is the way he is presented. So really Cui Bono? What is truth and fiction? Who wants to break them all apart – divide and conquer? Who wrote this?
Many questions are raised. Maybe when the Saker has a moment they could give a view or they may think its utter tosh and not worth the time/effort.
Rgds,
Veritas
I read the article, after two previous attempts in which fell asleep, with difficulty, I had to translate it into Spanish with translator and the result was even worse.
As I understand, is now Borodai which aims to oust his former partner Strelkov. And well? Is Borodai The Oracle of Delphi or is his word law?
I only know Borodai from the first press conferences in Novorussia and, whenever, I liked Strelkov, Borodai seemed sharper and less diplomatic. Then I have not seen him commanding any battallion, better or worse.
What I got clear from the article in question is where they come from all these slanders about Strelkov: Kurgynian.
And who is this man?
Well, no idea, I asked long time ago in this blog and no one could answer, I researched what I could out there, but not sure how lame foot he has ( apart from that pseudoleft movement called “Essence of time” ).
In any case he is not the Oracle of Delphi nor his word is law.
I trust Strelkov because I know something of his career and I do not think even remotely that he has presidential aspirations ( these are delusions of Kurgynian, who, yes, I think he has / had these aspirations, why is now so bitter, or at least I think so, for his verbal and facial expression ).
Normally, people who spread rumors about others is the intended benefit from the outcome of this.
Veritas, thank you so much for reading it. I was struck by the fact that we are told for the first time how Strelkov & Borodai got their positions in Donbas. Also I remember Strelkov saying that he was ordered NOT to abandon Slavyansk, the fact that the man responsible for supplying ammo & other supplies says Strelkov was amply supplied and used depletion of supplies as a pretext for abandonment. The fact that other cities were given up was explained away as their being unsustainable, and I personally have no way of evaluating this.
What Strelkov is being accused of is having Presidential ambitions which he hoped to advance by blaming Putin for failures in prosecuting the war. Hence, altho he abandoned half the territory won against orders, he blames Putin: “Putin didn’t allow us to continue our offensive.”
There are three earlier happenings which are consistent w the possibility of Strelkov’s attacking Putin:
1. At Strelkov’s first press conference he said at once that he wouldn’t be a party to any action against Putin, but he said it in such a manner that it seemed to me that the subtext was “Because I am an honorable man I will not attack Putin, but it is almost my patriotic duty to do so.”
2. Starikov’s obvious belief that Strelkv is a threat.
3. A part of the the Strelkov-Starikov debate was devoted to the question of the correct response to be taken towards a coup! If memory serves, they were to comment on the correct attitude both before & after the coup! Sorry, don’t remember very well. I commented on the absurdity of this, but could get no one to answer me.
Everyone commented on the first part of the debate, but were entirely silent about the later parts.
Strelkov appears to have a full-time PR person.
Well, I just think that people should read the 2d part of the article & file it away as a precautionary measure.
Anyway, thank you again, Veritas, for reading the article.

@ BOT TAK,
Q: Due to that, my gut feeling says it’s disinfo.
R: Given the timing, my gut has the same feeling.
I also think this is because the Kiev Killer Kommandos are convinced the battle for Mariupol will erupt any day soon now, and a a little chaos amongst the file and rank of the ‘enemy’ perhaps is seen as lessen the blow a bit.
http://south-insight.com/node/1306 reports: “China ranks first in ‘exporting millionaires’ abroad”, with over 76 thousand from 2003 to 2013.
What is really interesting here is that Russia occupies – only the fifth place, with a mere 14 thousand fat cats skipping родину :-!
One would have expected Ukraine first, Russia second…
What that shows clearer than if we just ranted about it over and over ,is that in the NWO the wealthy class have no loyalty to their own countries. They are a world of their own.Their countries and their own people are merely there to serve them. But on the brighter side for China, the 30% moving to Hong Kong aren’t really leaving China. No matter all the talk,Hong Kong is still China. It’s only,in reality a autonomous region of China.
but it must have something to do with tax evasion. The number one thing after changing the justice system and taking it away from governments and then re-structuring it…the first thing to do after that is to catch those bloody elites and make them pay their taxes…worldwide…
Being neither “chosen” no “exceptional” I believe in collective wisdom. Intelligent people understand that the US will cease pushing the world towards WWIII only if it will become too expensive/painful to continue.
We should collectively come up with some ideas of how to make the US to “feel the pain.” What could people do on personal, nonprofit, corporate, governmental levels to slow down the American war efforts?
More on the same: Ukraine is occupied by NATO-Israel coalition. http://www.veteranstoday.com/2015/03/07/neo-ukraine-fighting-the-spin/

Dump US dollars Treasuries, stocks. Buy silver from a gov’t mint or bars, gold- if you can afford it- ammunition, firearms, storable food. Support local economies’ products not imported US goods if you are overseas. There are always substitutes even though the Wall Street Cabalists have rigged the world market. My opinion.
I do NOT buy any product from US-UK -EU, ONLY home made products!
So the very fact that this “hyperinflation in Ukraine” story appears in US MSM means US WANTS the destruction of Ukraine, which we already knew.
Perhaps it also wants Pravi Sector type coup– possibly as a pretext for US/UK/Zio to go in in defense of “democratic values”.
This is not good news. A slower disintegration afforded more possibility of an orderly transition to something better than chaos. More possibility for things to be managed by Russia, Novorossiya and the will of the nonviolent citizenry.
No. They have no economy. Their industrial and mining sectors produced for Russia. They have a war in their economic heartland and they are conscripting their workers. $50 Bil just keeps the war going and the corpse warm.
There are some important distinctions though:
– The US wants the “destruction” of Russia (and China). It doesn’t care about Ukraine, its a disposable tool.
– The US does’nt need nor want a Right Sector coup. It needs the Nazi’s in control behind the scenes.
– I think a quick disintegration is best. It would mean Ukraine splintering roughly into east and west. The east would quickly establish itself as independent and with Russian help become peaceful and begin to rebuild. The west would be NATO’s problem.
A slow disintegration means a slow grinding war with the total impoverishment and destruction of the east.
On the other hand a quick collapse stresses Russia-EU relations to the fullest and provides the best scenario for direct NATO entry.
Sorry for the heartless seeming comment – but I see a fully and blatant bankruptcy as a strongly needed prerequisite for the necessary secession of the Ukraine.
This is what happens when you make a deal with the devil. In this case the devil is the imperial-fascist empire of the United States of Insanity and all its affiliated components, i.e. the IMF, Zionist Israel, etc.
Just like a modern day Goethe’s Dr. Faustus story, the Ukraine sold out with everything she has including her soul as a nation. The Empire will not stop until it has sucked that country dry of everything of value.

“the very AngloZionist Washington Post”
Here we go again. More classic Saker misdirection about fake ‘Anglo-Zionists’.
‘Anglo is a prefix indicating a relation to the Angles, England, the English people, or the English language, such as in the term Anglo-Saxon language. It is often used alone, somewhat loosely, to refer to people of British Isles descent in The Americas, New Zealand and Australia.’
The Washington Post is just like the vast majority of the US media, i.e., the US media is owned by Jews descended from the Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Belorussia, and Germany. They are not ‘Anglo’ in any sense, unless you want to stretch the word to breaking point by saying that you refer to the fact they speak English. (As do 1.5 billion other people.)
The Washington Post itself is owned by the Jewish billionaire and CIA business partner, Jeff Bezos. (Bezos’ Amazon has a USD $600 million IT contract with the CIA.) Bezos was born in New Mexico to parents Ted Jorgensen and Jacklyn Gise, neither of whom carry ‘Anglo’ British or English family names. Neither of whom were descended from Anglo-American families.
Let’s look at some more famous ‘Anglo-Zionists’ in the USA (to use Saker’s appallingly misdirecting term). These are the first 16 famous American Jews, listed by Wikipedia: Leonard Bernstein, Louis Brandeis, Albert Einstein, Betty Friedan, Milton Friedman, Emma Goldman, Hank Greenberg, Rashida Jones, Henry Kissinger, Menachem Mendel Schneerson, Steven Spielberg, Gertrude Stein, Barbra Streisand, Stephen Samuel Wise, Rosalyn Sussman Yalow, Mark Zuckerberg. Why, would you believe it – apart from one ‘Jones’, they all have names from Central and Eastern Europe! They’d be right at home in Germany or Russia, but not in England. What a surprise!
Now let’s look at the most powerful Jewish politicians (all of them AIPAC members) in America. Here’s the list of Senators: Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Barbara Boxer (D-CA), Ron Wyden (D-OR), Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Ben Cardin (D-MD), Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Al Franken (D-MN), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Brian Schatz (D-HI). Well, colour me shocked! Only two have English family names. B-but Saker s-said they’re ANGLO-Zionists! H-he’s never w-wrong, is he guys?
I know, let’s look at AIPAC! Saker’s bound to be right about them! Lessee…
Founder: Isaiah L. Kenen. (OK, ignore that one.)
Executive Director: Howard Kohr. (Darn it!)
Managing Direcrtor: Richard Fishman. (Double-Darn! Fishman is a German name, I checked. Let’s say that I get a do-over on Fishy-boy.)
Well, there’s bound to be ONE Anglo name on AIPAC’s list of prominent board members, right?
Let’s see:
Mickey Kantor (Dang!)
Rudy Boschwitz (Gah!)
S. Daniel Abraham (Darn!)
Steven Grossman (Oh come on!)
Norman Brownstein (Nyargh!)
Larry A. Mizel (&%@!$!)
Drop the ‘Anglo’ prefix, Saker. It’s more than inaccurate. It’s dishonest and deceptive. You’d be much more accurate calling them ‘Easter European-Zionists’ or ‘Slavic-Zionists’ or ‘Russo-Zionists’, given that is their genetic, historical, and entho-cultural background. But maybe that would embarrass you, huh?
Plus: there’s nothing quite like blaming an innocent ethnic group for something they haven’t done, is there? Makes one feel better about one’s self. (Hey, that’s quite a Zionist trait, when you think about it.)
In the sidebar at the right,m you will find an item called Terminology. Read it. That is Saker’s definition of why he uses “Anglo-Zionist”. He’s not going to change it, so it’s better for you to understand it.
We don’t need lists of Jewish politicians or anything else here. It is not relevant.
Thank you, Kat Kan. This does get tedious.
@ Kat Kan,
Q: We don’t need lists of Jewish politicians or anything else here. It is not relevant.
R: Indeed, we don’t need a ‘witch hunt.’
However, when Mrs Victoria ‘F*** the EU’ Nuland [married to Mr. Kagan, a Jew] is able to predict who will be the Ukraine’s new leaders [in 2014] on November, 2013 and both men turn out to be Jewish, isn’t there some sort of zionist connection [even back to the Apartheid State]?
50% of the NBA teams are owned by Jews. 80% of the commissioners are Jews [see Commissioners, managers/coaches and owners]
The Media
That’s why it does matter who runs what, because it taints the flow of truthful information. The NYT, LAT and WaPo are frontrunners in disinfo, half truths, misdirections and pure lies and they should be called out for what they do [and that has nothing to do with a religion].
I agree that the zionists need to be named…its getting worse than it was I think…it was more anglo but now its more zionist. I appreciate that the guy went to the trouble of finding and typing their names….
Is there a nexus between the disproportionate Jewish Zionist (total population less than 20 million out of the approx. 3500 million total global population), control of western and international institutions AND the unprecedented violence and chaos; enviornmental calamity; and the greatest disparity of wealth and income in history.
Historical suffering. Addicted to war. Souless leaders.
Coincidence? or extreme Zionist plans realized.
The Anglo’s are from innocent – The genocide of Aborigines, Mauri’s, Inuits, Native Americans etc and the line is not as clear as you make out but Jewish Zionists do have complete economic and political control of Anglo sphere.
ph, I don’t think it’s true that Zionists have complete control of Anglo sphere, but certainly a great many people would agree w you and say so w great conviction. You wouldn’t care to give us a few links, would you?
Thank you.
We all know the past…its past…I’m worried about the future…they need to pay taxes….
The names and functions behind them which you provide are quite accurate.
At the same time, an “Anglo” prefix definitely does belong in “Zionist” context. This is so not only on the obvious basis of “which dog is wagged by which tail” (or vice-versa) today – but rests on the most important history behind it.
History since the mid XVII century, when Oliver Cromwell solemnly proclaimed that England was committed to the creation of the State of Israel in Palestine!
Check the remarkable concise historical article “Who is the Enemy” by Thierry Meyssan of the Voltaire network, http://www.voltairenet.org/article184973.html : it provides a unique perspective on our topic, throwing light precisely on much of the present behavior of the Empire and its satellites.
JOHAN, thank you . That was extremely interesting. I have often said that I think Israel is an employee of the US, since it can’t survive w/o massive US cash infusions & since it does the dirty work to spare US reputation.
However, the article does leave out the importance of whether the Bank of England was/is Jewish-controlled, which seems at the heart of the banking cabal to control the world– altho I’m not able to discern whether the US Federal Reserve has become independent of those interests.
Further, it’s interesting that Thierry, in the article, casually mentions that Israel controls the Federal Reserve!
You might be interested in what Lars Schall has to say about control of the Federal Reserve. Sorry no link.

A story w important implications regarding the stability of Russia and her ability to prosecute the Novorossiyan war has appeared on Fort Russ Blog. I have been trying all day to get someone to comment on it. Please take a look: http://fortruss.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-two-pillars-of-russian-maidan-or.html
Penelope, you aren’t getting any comments, because there is nothing to comment. This article is just a collection of irrelevant rubbish and nitpicking.
You obviously got justifiably bored w the first part & didn’t read the rest.
A good indicator whether a story is worthwhile or not is the ratio of theory to events.
This seems to be a long-winded warning of ‘fifth-columnism’. Col Cassad is dismissed as PR for Strelkov, when ‘he’ has been demonstrably a good source for the course of actual events. So scratch that.
Strelkov is not going to replace Putin – his limitations are obvious. Nor does he have 80+% approval ratings. So scratch that.
The militias are too busy with repair and consolidation for ‘nit-picking’. So scratch that.
No doubt there are Kremlin dissenters on the Putin line re Novorossiya. Cost, mainly. This looks like it could intended as a ‘caution’: this isn’t Georgia.
Just my 2 cents worth.
The article is very poorly written–its premises are very unclear and no conclusion summarizes what might be the main points made. Half-way through, it became clear that I need more context and knowledge of Russia’s politics, need better understanding of Russian, and must read a host of Russian language journals to augment my understanding. Info provided by the author did clear up some problems I had.
It’s very clear in Russia that the Outlaw Empire wants its demise yet again, and is more overt and determined to get that result than at any previous time. That makes it very difficult to be an opposing political party because opposing Putin at this time means explicitly working for the Outlaw Empire; part of that dilemma’s revealed by the author.
I hope someone else replied as I don’t think my words are of much help.
Your math is incorrect. 64.5 % per month is 392.6 % per year, not 39,000 %.
Sorry Lumi. Here is an easy way to think about inflations rates – monthly and annual.
A 64.5% monthly inflation rate means that a commodity costing $1 on 1 January this year, will on 1 February cost $1+$(64.5/100) = $1*(1+64.5/100) = $1.645.
This on 1 March will cost $1.645*(1+64.5/100) = $1.645^2 = $2.706,
on 1 April $1.645^3 = $4.451, etc…,
so, after 12 months (i.e., on 1 January the next year) it will cost $1.645^12 = $392.637.
Hence: in one year, our $1 commodity will cost $392.637 ≈ $392.64!
What is then the annual inflation rate X ?
Let us calculate: $392.64 = $1*(1+X/100), meaning 392.64 = 1+X/100, and so X = 100*(392.64-1) = 100*391.64 = 39164.
Therefore the annual inflation rate in our case is 39,164%, as claimed.
This is correct, and I’ll try to explain it with words.
If we double a number, that is 100% increase. If we triple it, it is a 200% increase Each “times” = 100%. Tripled means it grew from one to three. One of those three is the original, and the other two are the increase, so that is 200% increase.
In Accountant’s example, it grows from ONE to 392 (rounded). One is the original dollar we started with, 391 is the INCREASE (growth or inflation). To turn it into percentage we multiply by 100 (add two zeroes ) so 391 becomes 39100 which is 39,100%
You don’t need to know the percentages though, to understand that if it costs $1 for a loaf of bread, and this time next year that costs $392, you are going to be VERY hungry if your monthly wage is only $300.

China asserts its clout as diplomatic heavyweight
Excerpt: “China asserted its place on the global diplomatic stage Sunday, pledging to steadfastly support Russia in the face of Western sanctions, scolding regional rival Japan, and making clear it sees the US as an equal.”
It seems Obombi’s ‘pivot into Asia’ is not going according to plan. Fortunately a lot of $$ are to be made off of weapon sales into ‘frightened’ neighbors’ countries. A win-win for the MIC.
This is what Israel’s queens at AFP (Arsehats, Freaks & Pervs) are saying:
Putin describes secret operation to seize Crimea
President Vladimir Putin has revealed the moment he says he gave the secret order for Russia’s annexation of Crimea and described how Russian troops were ready to fight to rescue Ukraine’s deposed, pro-Moscow president
One wonders whether the gay soap opera aspect, the fascist/nazi aspect or the Jewish zionist aspect is speaking there. Then again, does it matter? Are they really any different from each other in the fundamentals that are holding the world down now?
What these guys do is take a little bit of truth and add their own disinformation. Putin did say it was spur of the moment and he used plans drawn up years ago for many different contingencies. Russia could not allow Crimea to become a NATO base as that would have negated any Russian advantage to oppose the empire. I think it can be considered as an existential threat to Russia.
I think even a hot war would not have been out of the question unless Russia had decided to acquiescence to the empires wishes. That is why NATO wants regime change. because they want someone who wont oppose what the empire is doing worldwide in creating chaos on multiple continents and dozens of countries, Loss of Crimea would have neutered Russian ability in power projection in the Mediterranean and defend Syria as well.
Re “The Washington Post itself is owned by the Jewish billionaire and CIA business partner, Jeff Bezos. (Bezos’ Amazon has a USD $600 million IT contract with the CIA.) Bezos was born in New Mexico to parents Ted Jorgensen and Jacklyn Gise, neither of whom carry ‘Anglo’ British or English family names. Neither of whom were descended from Anglo-American families.”
[from Drop the Anglo.]
You may be right about Bezos’s antecedents, but there is no indication from his parents names. Jorgensen is obviously Scandinavian, likely Danish from the “sen’. Gise is spelled like a French name. Nothing in Wikipedia or Google to indicate Bezos is Jewish. Rich, despicable (in his labor policies) certainly, as is his newspaper (my local rag). Wikipedia says his parents were divorced after a year, and his mother married a rich Cuban, not obviously Jewish. Not all rich, despicable businessmen are Jewish. Maybe Bezos is an exception that tests the rule.
I can’t read this but it looks interesting.

Putin Vs Putin: Vladimir Putin Viewed from the Right
According to Dugin, this balancing act cannot go on if Putin wishes to enjoy continuing popular support among the Russian people. Putin must act to preserve Russia’s unique identity and sovereignty in the face of increasing challenges, both from Russian liberals at home and from foreign powers. Russia is no longer strong enough to stand on her own, he writes. In order to do this, Russia must cooperate with other dissenting powers who oppose the new globalist order of liberalism to bring about a multipolar world, in which no single nation wields supreme power, but rather several major powers keep each other in balance. Russia is crucial to this effort, in Dugin’s view, and indeed, its own survival as a unique and independent civilisation is dependent on a geopolitical shift away from the unipolar world represented by America’s unchecked supremacy. This fascinating book, written by an informal advisor to Putin and a Kremlin insider, is the first of its kind in English.

Who here believes war between the USA and Russia (and China) is inevitable? I think it an alarming possibility but stop short of absolute certainty. Are there no adults left in the Western room?
@ SanctuaryOne,
Q: Who here believes war between the USA and Russia (and China) is inevitable?
R: There will be no war/s between China, Russia and the US.
The US wants to remain a dominatrix, but the slaves are bitching and not having any of it any longer and now the Lady in Leather has set the garden gnomes free, in the hope that their tiny pitchforks will impress the Dragon and the Bear.
Not.

How to get away with murder. Get a lawyer to phrase it right;
“When an allegation of civilian casualties caused by U.S. or coalition forces is determined to be credible, a thorough investigation would be launched to determine the accuracy of the claim and any circumstances surrounding it.” – Link to Yahoo news.
The US just killed an unknown number of Syrian refinery workers, “Coz we gotta get ‘m turrerrrusts!”
Extra judicial terror from the skies, “Coz ’em ragheads really do hate our freedumb, don’t they?!”
At least they are doing better than Zimbabwe. Oh wait – at least Zimbabwe is not fighting a civil war and doesn’t has Russia as angry neighbour.
The lesson to governments here is not, don’t go into debt, or even don’t go deeply into debt. It’s, never owe significant debt in a currency you don’t control. If you owe your own currency that you print and you devalue and so on, then you got no problem. On any given day if you’re willing to accept some short term inflation, you can pay all your debts off that day if you really want to. Given which, creditors who want smooth earnings in non-inflated currency better not try to push the interest rates or terms too hard.
But if you owe in $US, or Euros (even if you’re in the Eurozone you got no control over that one), or anything else foreign, then you can be buggered with a pinecone fairly easily and be left with little you can do about it.
appetite discussion needed.

Interview shown on Ukranian tv of a victim from the bus shelling on august 18th at Wolnowacha. To win the propaganda war over this attack, Kiev made a movie where a wounded woman says the separatists were to blame.
But now there is a complete version of the original take of this interview. Surprise, all fake, the victim is an actress.

Some 50,000 people showed up on Saturday at a rally demanding change: a change in government, a change in attitude toward the Palestinian issue, a change in the state’s approach to social issues.
The main theme in most of the speeches at Saturday night’s rally in Rabin Square was Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s lack of strategic vision on the Palestinian issue, and the need to reach an agreement to end the occupation and the conflict. Two former senior security officials, ex-Mossad chief Meir Dagan and Maj.-Gen. (ret.) Amiram Levine, both warned that Israel is heading toward a reality of apartheid if it continues its 47-year-old regime of military rule over 4 million Palestinians.
Imagine if 50,000 Israelis marched on Qalandia to demand an end to Israel’s undemocratic military rule over Palestinians, an end to the checkpoints that restrict Palestinian freedom of movement while allowing Israelis to drive through unhindered, an end to separate laws and permit regimes that do indeed bring up images of South African apartheid.

Russia Warns NATO: Any Threat In Ukraine Will See Military Response
ollowing British plans to send military ‘advisers’ into Ukraine (which NATO has stated are not confirmed), TASS reports, Russia’s NATO envoy, Alexander Grushko, warns Russia will take all measures against possible NATO threat in Ukraine, adding that Russia’s response may include military measures.
NATO has taken no decisions on sending British or any other instructors to Ukraine, Russia’s Ambassador to the North Atlantic Alliance Alexander Grushko said on Monday.
“NATO has taken no decisions on sending instructors,” he told the Rossiya 24 television channel. “NATO is implementing the decisions that were taken at the political level at the Wales summit in September 2014.”
Moscow will take all measures, including military-technical, to neutralize possible threat from NATO presence in Ukraine, he added.
The Russian navy will receive 50 vessels of various sizes and classes this year, navy Chief Admiral Viktor Chirkov was quoted as saying by the Interfax news agency on Monday.
The new boats are part of a rearmament program begun under President Vladimir Putin that aims to provide Russia with a navy capable of operating far away from home — a capability lost after the collapse of the Soviet Union — by 2050. Russia’s navy today is largely relegated to a coastal defense role.
“The period of stagnation in the development of our potential has long since passed,” Chirkov said.

Well, well, well…it always was about money and loans and bailouts and rescue by banker. What better way for bankers to get their sucking parts into their victims but by starting a war. The spectacle of a gang of supposedly fanatical nationalists rioting so they can get “rescued” by the bankers that run the EU would make a great farce…but it’s real!
É chegado a hora do povo do leste Ucraniano se separar do resto do país, senão terão de assumir a divida com os banqueiros, sem ter se beneficiado dele. Deixem Kiev para a gula de europeus e americanos.
