Finally, after a long series of humiliating defeats, the Ukrainian Nazis have succeed in scoring a major defeat against their Russian opponents. True, this did not happen Novorussia and their opponents were already dead. In fact, the Ukrainian “attack” happened on a cemetery in Australia in Sydney, the Russian and Serbian sections of the Rookwood Cemetery, the biggest in Australia. Apparently, the attackers did not realize that some of the tombs were Serbian. Either that, or they decided to make these allies of the accursed Moskal pay for their pro-Russian compatriots fighting against the Nazis in the Donbass. Whatever may be the case, this probably was a demonstration of Ukrainian martial might in preparation for the upcoming visit of Poroshenko to Australia.
You can see some footage of the defeated Russian and Serbian gravestones by clicking here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLs6fv_8yeQ
The Australian police after some superb detective work concluded with confidence that “there was no evidence to suggest the crime was motivated by racial or religious hatred“. Apparently, when Nazis desecrate Jewish graves this is a racist hate crime, but when the very same Nazis desecrate Russian and Serbian graves, this has nothing to do with racial or religious hatred. Okay, fair enough. If the cops said it, it must be true.
In contrast to the cops, the The Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organizations labeled the attack a hate crime, calling for an investigation “at the highest levels” showing that Ukrainian émigrés have far more honor and decency that the local politicians (I don’t blame the cops, really, they say what they are ordered to say).
Seriously now, the idiots who did that will probably be found. There must be physical evidence all over the place and they probably were caught on some camera. I doubt that these were Ukrainians from the Ukraine, but probably local glue-sniffing skinheads. There is, however, no doubt in my mind whatsoever what inspired these freaks to “attack” Russian gravestones: the unanimous anti-Russian hysteria in the Anglo media worldwide. So regardless of who actually did the deed, Poroshenko and his Nazi junta still “own” these “supporters”. As does the AngloZionist Empire.

“Ukraine underplays role of far right in conflict”
“And although Ukraine is emphatically not run by fascists, far-right extremists seem to be making inroads by other means, as in the country’s police department”
Is this an indication of cracks appearing or are they just deflecting and papering over the cracks that are now so visible?

Ukraine’s state aviation service bans flights to three major airports for [cough] security reasons
http://itar-tass.com/en/world/766770
“
KIEV, December 13. /TASS/. Ukraine’s state aviation service has suspended flights to and from three major airports – Kharkov, Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye – for security reasons, a local daily has said with reference to the service’s chief, Denis Antonyuk.
The measure is effective starting from 00:00 of Saturday, December 13.
Antonyuk said “security considerations” were the reason. He did not elaborate.
This is not the first time the Ukrainian state aviation service closes Ukrainian airports to flights. Air links with Donetsk have been disrupted since May. Flights between Kharkov and Moscow were banned last May, too, and between Dnepropetrovsk and Moscow, in December.”
Is this to free those airports up for increased air shipments of arms from the zio’s colonies?

Dear The Saker,
It is a sad refelection on Austrlia and the Govt. that now leads that country.
:(.
If more everyday people can’t stand up and say no to this behaviour then it will only encourage these kind of behaviours to continue.
It is a disgrace.

As an Australian I am ashamed when I read this.
Our government, under the truly scary, probably a bit insane Abbott, will do nothing about this.
And to invite that murderer Poroshenko here leaves me speechless. So disgusted.
Daphne
The attacks at Rookwood Cemetery happened to ‘coincide’ with the visit to Oz by Poroshenko – it was a planned attack.
BTW, Saker – ‘vandals and thugs’ in Oz are more likely to be off their heads on alcohol and ICE – not ‘petrol sniffing skinheads’ (that description is so last century.
Poroshenko also made a big media show of placing red poppies at the Australian War Memorial. Pity he didn’t place 4,000 + poppies for the Donbass innocent civilians his ‘ATO’ has killed. He also blamed Russia for the destruction of the Ukraine economy because the ‘separatist destroyed Donbass industry’.
Disgusted beyond words.
Nazis in Kiev? No, no, no..
Stopfake.org, launched in March 2014, sets out to unmask what it considers the lies of Russian propaganda
http://www.stopfake.org/en/news/
The tone of the web site can be got here:
http://www.stopfake.org/en/nato-battles-back-in-information-war-with-russia/
or here:
http://www.stopfake.org/en/tag/russian-propaganda/
Here is a list of what Stopfake.org reckons are the top 75 Russian media lies (as on 10 Dec 2014):
http://www.stopfake.org/en/stopfake-org-top-75-review/
The ad hominem argument, of course, is that the CVs of the people running the site must include individuals who have been funded by the likes of Fullbright, Soros and Mr and Mrs Gates. Surprise surprise! It does!
One dissenting reader comments: “This site is propaganda. Go though about and founders of this page and school (sic.). Ukrainian oligarchs, foreign (western) media organizations, and other “non-profit” CIA fronts.” ;
Interestingly, another reader in the comments section on Stopfake.org’s about-us page writes that they invent fake fakes – i.e. they fabricate stories and then falsely ascribe them to Russian media (inventing not only the lie but also the liar). The reader writes, “ (…) most of the “Russian” propraganda (sic.) they claim to debunk doesn’t come from Russia anyway (…)”
Just in case you were wondering how independent Stopfake.org really is, within days of the launch, the web site was publicised by the BBC (with link) in an article called “Ukraine hits back at Russian TV onslaught” by Stephen Ennis (http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-26546083). Wikipedia also cites Stopfake.org as completely objective (see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_portrayal_of_the_2014_pro-Russian_unrest_in_Ukraine and here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RT_(TV_network) ). It has been claimed (by a Harvard body) that “Barely 90 days after launch, StopFake is reaching 1.5 million unique visitors a month (…)” (http://www.niemanlab.org/tag/stopfake/); the figure may well have dropped off since then: to “alexa rank of #172,781 in the world, with roughly 5430 daily unique visitors” (netvaluator.com/www/stopfake.org). Google and Yandex searches yield, in English, only glowing reports in praise of the organisation’s work.
p1. It is also significant to recognise current Australian efforts to enhance military cooperation with Ukraine. By invitation from Tony Abbott (Australian PM), Petro Poroshenko has visited Australia relating to the enhancement of economic and military cooperation. Australia’s Chief of Defence Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin similarly announced that the ADF [Australian Defence Force] will be more active in joint military cooperation/operations.
“Australia is in the process of receiving an upgrade to enhanced Partnership status, giving greater diplomatic and military access to NATO operations. Australia is represented by Foreign Minister Julie Bishop and Defence Minister David Johnston, who have Russian president Vladimir Putin firmly in their sights…. the Defence Force is considering allowing some members of Ukraine’s military to attend an ADF training college in Canberra. The Government this week announced it was opening an embassy in Kiev and would provide supplies to Ukraine’s military as it battled separatists….. [Australia’s Chief of Defence, Air Chief Marshal Mark Binskin] said there was also a proposal for a small number of Ukrainians to attend the ADF’s Command and Staff College for professional training.” (NATO summit: Australia strengthens ties with Atlantic alliance, but strains of global policing starting to show, ABC News Australia, 05/09/2014)
“I want to say very clearly that we are working towards stronger sanctions [against Russia],” [Australian PM] Mr Abbott warned. (08/08/2014)
‘This means he [Putin] gets Crimea, but the slow strangling of the Bear continues. NATO still wins.’ [Australian ABC News, 03/03/2014]
p2. In addition to its participation in allied economic warfare operations against Russia, Australia is also actively seeking to increase its involvement and augment U.S./NATO proxy warfare operations in Ukraine. Concurrently, much of the Australian media is engaging in anti-Russian narratives/ information warfare/ propaganda (promotion of racial hatred).
Indeed war, albeit not a direct military conflict so far, is already being waged against Russia by the U.S./NATO/Israel bloc (involving partnership members such as Australia). Although this war is in preliminary stages, these operations include economic warfare, proxy warfare and destabilisation/partition/regime change operations within Russia. Many analysts agree that for this military bloc, cold war operations to destabilise/weaken Russia (while expanding the U.S./NATO military bloc) never ended. Military exercises, the build-up of military forces/assets and the staged deployment of missile architecture (the pursuit of nuclear primacy/first strike with interception capabilities), indicate that the U.S./NATO bloc is making preparations for more than a cold war. In the event of direct conflict between military blocs, the Australian military will be fully integrated with U.S./NATO military operations/architecture. It is respectfully advisable that Russia respond accordingly in its strategic planning.
Guess which lobby dominates Australian foreign policy ?
“Bob Carr, who served as Australia’s foreign minister in the administration of former Prime Minister Julia Gillard, recently published a memoir detailing his experiences on the job. In the book Carr hones in on the Israeli lobby, which he says has “extraordinary” and “unhealthy” influence in Australian politics and had a “direct line” into the decision-making processes of the Gillard administration. Not only is Organized Zionism’s grip on Australia unhealthy, it is dangerous and corrosive…”

Albanians in Kosovo regularly destroy serbian cemeteries, so it could be them, and Russians maybe collateral damage, because they support Serbia. Who knows.
I read comments on a Russian site saying if the dead were veterans they should return the bodies to Russia for reburial. If the families agreed that might be the best idea. With full press coverage. That might wake people in the West up to the Russophobia they have let come about. And the humiliation to Abbott would be enormous throughout the world. That his government doesn’t even have the decency to protect graves of the dead, disgraceful.
Uncle Bob
Sorry to see fellow Australians demonstrating this capacity for hatred – the guilty should be exported to Ukraine – we do not need them.
We do not need Poroshenko in Australia either – he and Abbott together simply show us that truth has been cast aside in pursuit of ideological madness.
Maybe Poroshenko can offer Abbott a Ministry position in his new government and relieve us of an embarrassment.
This is really sad. Nothing seems to be sacred to the skinheads, whether they are off their bald heads on meth or glue…
I know Rookwood, and there are security cameras on entrances and throughout the cemetery, but I doubt very much that any serious investigation will be conducted. They will probably quote some vague technical difficulties and the footage will “dissappear”.
I disagree with you, Saker, about the police. They are in a position of trust and they do have a responsibility to justice to do their very best and investigate this. “I was just following orders” doesn’t work since Nurnberg, doesn’t work in Ferguson or New York, and it doesn’t work here either. If the investigation silently dies, all of them who let it happen are nothing but accomplices.
And that idiot Abbott hugging Poroshenko here few days ago just made me sick. What is he going to say in a year or so, when the Dutch report finally comes out saying “most likely Ukraine shot down MH17”? We all know who has most to gain out of it, right? We all know the truth right now, but these so-called leaders are so busy licking America’s boots, it’s sickening.
Australia herself has become nothing more but an American colony, much like the EU. Few years ago, there was talk about some free trade agreement with the US, and the part I remember was that Australian markets will be open to American products such as steel immediately without tarrifs, while Australian sugar will be sold in US without tarrifs after the waiting period of FIFTEEN YEARS. Apparently, we are allies. That’s probably why all the media uses American way of writing dates, month first – day second. We are just a US colony, and nobody is even hiding it anymore. Sad.
P.S. You know why Tony Abbott Abbott repeats himself repeats himself all the time all the time? There’s no brain in that head of his, just echo echo…
@Daphne
Porky pig was also in Singapore, en route to Australia for 2 days, talking about adopting the Singapore system of anti-corruption etc.
I simply do not understand how can our president – Tony Tan bear with his shit and allow him here. Full of lies, it is obvious even to an idiot that Singapore anti-corruption system won’t work in Ukraine, and he is just lying! I couldn’t even sleep peacefully with the thought that that disgusting person is within 50km of me…
“Many of the desecrated graves were in the Russian Orthodox and Serbian Orthodox sections of the cemetery. But the vandals attacked roughly the same number of graves in two other non-denominational sections, moving through the grounds in a line.”
If this statement is true make it seem an act of random criminal vandalism. If their motive is anti-Russian/Orthodox then you wouldn’t expect them to also knock down Protestant, Catholic, Islamic or other headstones.
Australia…hahaaa, people look for justice and truth in one of five eyes.
Australia is a leader in battle against Russia.
Australia is just a branch of Britain.
When an Englishman goes to Australia it is the same as a German goes to Austria.
Nazi-Natoist
Dear Saker,
Interesting coincidence that the desecration of the graves happened when Poroshenko is in Sydney.
He must have brought along some Pravy Sektor thugs with him.
@Daphne, Babushka in Oz
Remember when the “kossovar refugees” (thugs) were given the red carpet treatment when they arrived in Australia? It was in Howard times.
Whodunnit? Most likely the skinheads (Aussies) on duty who picked up the “general mood” of righteous indignation at the “murder” of Australians in the MH17 shooting down by the bloody Russkis.
@ WizOz
“Remember when the “kossovar refugees” (thugs) were given t….”
women thugs? children thugs?
I do wish ALL of you stopped demonising people. That is exactly what starts wars. And concepts of collective guilt and collective punishment.
OR if you feel that is ok, then it should apply to everyone….and let them carpet bomb Donbass, they are sure to deserve it, there were definitely a few murders committed by some of them.
Either we have one law for everyone, or we have exceptionalism. And if exceptionalism is ok, why should it not be USA who has it? seriously, why should they give it up, if it’s okay to be like that.
Or is this whole debate just over who is going to be BIGGEST BULLY? and that you want that bully to be on YOUR SIDE? what does that make you?
p3. The greatest threat to many are the consequences of their own actions. Australia is an extension (partner) of the U.S./NATO bloc and is openly supportive (politically and operationally) in the successive offensive military operations of this military bloc. Australian ‘defence’ policy (and interoperable military architecture) is integrated with the U.S./NATO/Israel bloc. U.S., NATO and Israeli advisors work with the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, the Lowy Institute, etc. in the development of strategic policy. The Lowy Institute was established by Frank Lowy and Martin Indyk, both of whom also established the Israeli Institute for National Strategy and Policy.
For decades Australia has been involved in partition operations within Indonesia through the covert support of separatist movements.
“The Howard government decided in early 1999 to work for East Timor’s independence but concealed this from the Indonesian government, John Howard and Alexander Downer have revealed. [Senior Australian and US officials disclosed] the Clinton administration threatened Jakarta with US military retaliation if Indonesian forces contested the Australian-led UN intervention in East Timor.” (John Howard’s covert East Timor independence plan, 05/09/2009).
Australian partition operations in E Timor coincided with strategic Timor Sea resource projects. These operations related to the strategic objective of partitioning these resources/securing favourable concessions from E Timor) while also weakening Indonesia (a strategic rival).
“Australia’s role is indeed that of a sub-imperialist …its [actions] in East Timor [are] a matter of protecting preferential oil and natural gas concessions in the Timor Gap and defying its major regional rival Indonesia” (Australian Military Buildup And The Rise Of Asian NATO, 06/05/2009)
p4. “West Papua is an extremely rich country. It has vast reserves of Copper and gold, oil and gas, large areas of virgin hardwood forests” (Australia West Papua Association, South Australia)
“sponsoring West Papuan independence, will cause heartache in Jakarta but jubilation in Jayapura.” (West Papua Project, Sydney)
The ‘Free West Papua’ campaign included John Dowd (former NSW Liberal Attorney-General) and Lt-Col Lance Collins (rtd. former military intelligence officer).
In addition to ongoing partition operations (despite Australian denials and official claims of respecting Indonesia’s territorial integrity), Indonesian analysts are also aware of the implication of the U.S.-Australian military build-up. This military build-up (and the enhancement of offensive foreign military operation capabilities), is inconsistent with claims of pursuing a defensive posture. Indeed, Australia’s successive involvement in U.S./NATO offensive actions (and foreign military deployments) clearly establish its embrace of foreign military operations and the militarism of the U.S./NATO/Israel bloc.
‘The U.S. and Australian role in the mass killings in Indonesia in 1965-66.’
Declassified documents reveal that the U.S., Britain and Australia were involved in facilitating the mass murder of Indonesians who were identified as ‘communist sympathisers’. Communications also reveal they were pleased by these events.
“He would be a very cautious man who did not derive some encouragement from events in Indonesia over the past week.” [Australian Embassy communication]
“with 500,000 to a million [Indonesian] communist sympathisers knocked off…I think it’s safe to assume a reorientation has taken place.” [Australian PM Harold Holt]
p5. “[Declassified] documents [reveal] the precise role of the United States, Britain, Australia and other western governments in both attempting to provoke an armed takeover of Indonesia in 1965 and in supporting the mass killings by the army and civilian groups which followed the September 30 movement…… the National Security Council of the US approved a covert propaganda campaign inside Indonesia… The United States government was sympathetic with and admiring of what the army was doing [mass killings]…. The [U.S.] embassy could make covert payments to what was ostensibly a civilian group. Kap-Gestapu, the coalition of Muslim, Christian, Nationalist, and other civilian groups, which was carrying out the killings alongside the army….. Chances of detection or subsequent revelation of our [U.S.] support in this instance are as minimal as any black bag operation can be… It’s very clear that the US extended this active assistance to the Indonesian army precisely as they became aware of the scale of the killings – and in full expectation that their assistance would enable the army to carry out these killings and indeed to expand them…… [The Australian government was] delighted ….” (Accomplices in Atrocity. The Indonesian killings of 1965, ABC, 07/09/2008)
Over 500,000 Indonesians were slaughtered as a result of this event that was covertly engineered by Western powers (particularly the U.S. with support from Australia). Disclosed intelligence documents reveal that the Australians supported the mass killings of Indonesians as strategically beneficial. If I am correct, Indonesia will in time have the opportunity to impose its own ‘strategic reorientation’.
As the rise of China gets larger and larger it seems to me those countries of the region need to think about what is in their best interests. The Philippines by history is somewhat outside those nations. And its US ties probably make it doomed to be a US stooge.North Korea is firmly committed to friendship with China and also Russia.South Korea though very much under US control in some ways.Seems to want friendly relations with China and Russia.Japan is a sad case.Much like Germany,an Asian powerhouse with much to gain by friendship with China and Russia.Seems at least with China ,not to have realized how much friendship with China good gain them. And through their denial of war crimes in China during WW2 go against their best interests.Couple that with their military ties to the US.And it seems the future will see Japan frozen out of Asia’s economic rise more and more.Vietnam is another problem.Traditionally hostile to China over border issues. They have friendly relations with Russia.Who may be able to bridge those differences with China as a go between. And allow the two to obtain good relations.Cambodia,Laos,Myanmar,Malaysia,Brunei,Singapore, and Indonesia, all seem to have acceptable relations with Russia. And from good to acceptable, depending on the country, relations with China. If China’s economic plans are realized they all stand to benefit from those good or acceptable relations with China.Thailand is a riddle so far. They have acceptable relations with both China and Russia. But their ties with the US somewhat resemble the Philippines. And the unrest in politics there makes the future unclear for the foreseeable time. And that may leave them behind in the economic future with China.I have left the Indian subcontinent region and Oceanic countries out of this post as they are Worlds of their own.And would need a post by themselves. And I also didn’t mention Taiwan.Because its future for China is clear.Today, tomorrow,or 20 years or more down the road,Taiwan will in some way or the other reunite with China. Most likely following a path similar on a larger scale to Hong Kong or Macau.
Uncle Bob
Hey, Saker, this was to be no surprise…!
In fact, please see this memorable plenary session voting in the Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee (Third Committee) of the General Assembly of the United nations on “Combating glorification of Nazism, neo-nazism and other practices that contribute to fuelling contemporary forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance” during its 69th session:
http://www.un.org/en/ga/third/69/docs/voting_sheets/L56.Rev1.pdf
115 representatives voted for it,
3 representatives voted against it,
55 representatives abstained from voting.
Guess which representatives voted against it?
The representatives of (in alphabetical order):
Canada,
Ukraine,
United States.
Furthermore, I consider this voting to be the best test of the Western alignment of a country.
As you see, (perhaps) all Western countries either voted against it, or abstained from voting.
Whatever Russia does back them all the way always. Though their alliance with Turkey of late is best served when it is not that sadist Erdogen leading Turkeu
