Within the last few days two commentators I respect—The Saker and Dmitry Orlov—have written that the United States is now undergoing systemic collapse.
My view, reflected in my articles published over the years, is that the United States ceased to exist decades ago. It is only the foundational strength of the country put in place by great men, such as Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, and James Madison, that has kept the image alive of a functioning country. The house that sat on the foundation long ago washed away in the flood of anti-American propaganda from the self-hating white liberal elites who dominate education, media, and government. Today the statues of our great founders are themselves pulled down and desecrated by the ignorant products of American education.
Fifteen months ago, I posted a column, “Western Culture Has Died a Politially Correct Death” — https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2019/03/30/western-culture-has-died-a-politically-correct-death/ . Nothing could be more obvious today. George Floyd, a felon, misogynist woman abuser who killed himself with an overdose of Fentanyl, has been elevated into a national hero. The police officer restraining him when he self-desructed is charged with murder. Americans are so poorly educated that they do not know that a knee on the side of the neck does not obstruct breathing. Floyd couldn’t breathe because the fatal dose of Fentanyl was killing him. You can get the facts of the effects of Fentanyl from this official source: https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/drugfacts/fentanyl
Here is the medical examiner’s report: https://www.scribd.com/document/464269559/George-Floyd-Autopsy-FULL-REPORT#from_embed?campaign=VigLink&ad_group=xxc1xx&source=hp_affiliate&medium=affiliate
Unless the false murder charge against the police officer is withdrawn, do not expect police protection from black and Antifa violence.
The fact of the matter is that the United States, its history, and all of its meritorious values have been denounced by white liberal elites as racist and evil. The charge is no longer limited to the South. It goes far beyond to the Founding Fathers, to the United States Constitution, to the national anthem, to mathematics, to science and the Englsh language, all of which, along with the concept of truth itself, has been defined as racist America.
The United States has lost its youth. Indoctrinated by their education to see white people as the source of abuse and oppression of other races, young whites have been deracinated. They view their history and culture as shameful. The Pew Research Center found that only 17% of the Black Lives Matter protesters were black, whereas 46% of the protesters were white, largely Democrats under 30 years of age. https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/06/24/recent-protest-attendees-are-more-racially-and-ethnically-diverse-younger-than-americans-overall/
Once the bedrock of a country is discredited among the young generation, the country collapses. It is too late to do anything about it. The question is: who will survive it?
Not white people:
Europe is in the throes of the same indulgent self loathing madness.
Russia,China and India.
What must they be thinking?
The us society is based on the dream of money. There is no money left for everybody because of the political choices made by the highly corrupted ruling elite.
No money=no american dream=no usa.
There are oceans of people living inside camping tends or inside their cars. How the fact that many people under 30 years of age have lost faith in their country can be a surprise?
I would like to say that many points of this article sound like propaganda to me.
I don t see any goodness in the founders of the us. I don t see any greatness in the 9/11 false flag. I don t see any greatness in the endless foreign wars and sanctions.
Finally how keeping your knee on someone s neck for 8 minutes, which prevent the blood from going to the brain by pressuring the common carotid arteries doesn t kill? Besides, if someone says several times that he cannot breath, you try to understand what is wrong you try to help him you don t keep his face down with your knee on his neck. Saying that George Floyd was a felon a misogynist etc doesn t justify anything. Arresting people is the job of the police it s not judging them. Trying to justify the death of George Floyd is nothing less that a disgrace. Killing people like that is not something you see in a country ruled by law, it s something you see in a jungle.
I would like to complete my comment by making one last point that came to my mind. Even if George Floyd died because of the injection he took, when he said he couldn t breath the police officer should have tried to save him by calling 911. Refusing to help people in danger is a crime. What the us officer did shows that the level of violence inside the us society has become insane. Refusing to see that will just make things worse. It is impossible to fix problems you brefuse to see. Legitimising what the police did will create other unjustified deaths which will create more civil unrest which will lead to more disunion and more problems. I am sorry to say that, but from my perspective, this article is contributing to the collapse of the us, the country the author loves and wants to save. The fact that the author can not see this is a mistery to me.
How do you know what transpired between Floyd and the police between the time that he was apprehended and the time that the policeman put his foot on his neck? Everyone is basing their entire interpretation on videos which don’t tell the whole story. No one really knows what happened except for the policeman and of course Floyd. And the other policeman who are in close proximity.
Seems like he overdosed. Don’t think we got the whole picture.

Laurent, I agree there is a whiff of propaganda about this article. Already in the previous article by Craig Roberts I seemed to detect a whiff of hysteria and I thought, happens occasionally to a man under pressure. Thank you for correcting his present gaffe about the Israeli Kneechoke. Because I trust Craig Roberts on the whole, I was inclined to believe his statement, “Americans (ie, Yanks) are so poorly educated that they do not know that a knee on the side of the neck does not obstruct breathing.”
After your salutary call to reason I checked; the two Carotid Arteries are definitely on either side of the neck.

So long as human beings live in America, the great continent will produce both good and evil, because that is the human destiny; whether or not an area of North America continues to be known as the U$A.
Your screen name says you are a Dr. As in PhD? I find it hard to believe that any MD (or any person who has a 9th grade “health” course in the USA school system) would have to google to find where carotid arteries are in the body. Fyi, the carotid arteries are on either side of the throat but they are at the front of the neck not its sides.
As Mr Roberts observed in an unrelated article, George Floyd’s autopsy shows that he did not die from strangulation which resulted from the cop kneeling on him. The fact is that Floyd died from an overdose of fentanyl while resisting arrest.
I can tell you that the Modi regime controlled media in India are now very quiet about the mass protests that continue in America. Not only is Modi selling the fable that America is going to come to India’s aid in his manufactured confrontation with China, but Modi doesn’t want Indians to see what’s going on there and get inspiration.

All three have history and tradition behind them. Also, all three have remarkable patience. What this means is that all three understand what is going on in the United States. For example, in 1998 Igor Panarin, Dean of the Russian Diplomatic Academy, published his well known map on the break up of the United States into six parts. I don’t think the map is 100 % accurate, as Panarin left a few of the southern states outside Dixie Land. However, the map is close to 100 % as far as accuracy goes.
I lived in the US on two occasions. During my first stay, the country left, more or less, a normal impression. However, during my second stay, I was astonished by the transformation. The infrastructure was falling apart, broken highways, rusty bridges, bridges showing signs of cracking, etc. What struck me the most was the psychological state of the population. The people were demoralized and despondent, while the situation was not improving. As I have written before, I am not an optimist that the US will survive in it’s present political and geographic form, almost certainly breaking up.
Well – this is a one-sided view of the US. The brainwashing of the “goodness” of the early founders runs deep, it seems.
It is a fact that this country was founded on genocide which continued into slavery and then internationally , i.e. regime changes, military bases, etc.
The great heroes portrayed by the author, that is, Washington, a slave owner, and Jefferson, who furthered the collapse of the traditional native culture are heroes only from a one sided perspective.
Even Lincoln authorised the hanging of dozens of native elders because of trumped up criminal charges, although the number of hangings was reduced from an initial proposed 300 or so.
Benjamin Franklin was one of a very few founding pioneers who had a whole conscience, for it was he who pushed for the adoption of the native Iriquois agreements as the basis for the US Constitution.
Most others promoted the agenda of enslavement and exploitation – there is absolutely no way to refute this fact – only denial, and that is what the US is so good at doing.

I’ve been thinking along those lines since the 1970s. Franklin was head and shoulders above the rest, really the only one who’s life and views matched the mythical history americans are indoctrinated incessantly from birth. The rest of the crew struck me as the usual lot seeking power, fortune and fame on the backs of others.
Yes, the founding fathers were far from perfect. But when things were going well, few cared. It’s only related to the current rapid decline that people notice. Jaime L. said it best: “…after we’ve won, and there’s no one left to oppose us, when people are living peacefully in the world she built, do you really think they’ll wring their hands over the way she built it?”
Which reminds me of the famous line: “Wer redet denn heute noch von der Vernichtung der Armenier?”

The brainwashing of the “goodness” of the early founders runs deep.
It is a fact that this country was founded on genocide which continued into slavery and then internationally , i.e. regime changes, military bases, etc.
The “United States of America”‘s dreaming was not restricted to money.
From inception “United States of America” was facilitated by dreaming to such an extent that “The American Dream” became/is “the perception of American reality” predicated upon complicity of almost all in dreaming facilitated by “We the people hold these truths to be self-evident” – belief by dreaming, dreaming that belief is reality.
Mr. Trump is merely the latest in a parade of snake oil salesmen from the “founding fathers” to date, facilitated by the dreams of others.
This dreaming was facilitated and continues to be facilitated by the nightmares of others, who are increasingly limiting their resort to dreaming including belief by dreaming, dreaming that belief is reality, being guided by Mr. W.C. Field’s observation that “There comes a time in the affairs of men dear friends when we must grab the bull by the tail and face the situation”. .
Hundred years ago it was already clear that West is declining :The Decline of the West (German: Der Untergang des Abendlandes), or The Downfall of the Occident two-volume work by Oswald Spengler . Collapse is probably strong word. Going down with illusion that we are doing our best is reality of today . American Poet T.S Eliot was probably right ( The Hollow Man ) :
“This is the way the worlds ends
this is the way the wordls ends
Not with the bang but a whimper “
So , no panic ! Slow ( less painful) disintegration is taking place , not the Collapse ..
Decline is dramatize for the sake of entertainment ,
Rising to full height, which wasn’t much more that a tall midget and facing the august panel Chuck Schumer read from his brief. “I should like to first point out to the panel that Cycel , born male, overcame great setbacks in life. Cycel being a transgendered individual and taking into account our Democratic Party’s comprehensive intersectional study of bias towards black and transgender proclivities, critical race theory and grievance studies demonstrates the great setbacks Cycel needed to overcome,” Schumer paused for effect, “and all this just for her to be a feminist poet and accepted member of our society!”
Schumer stood aside and Schiff waved to the crowd and took the mike. “Yes, we have plans to make changes that we refer to as ‘equality of outcome’. As you know, painting, like literature and music sets out to manufacture trash in the hope that skills will be devalued and that anyone will be able to write a play, paint a picture or compose a musical masterpiece. Should they be sufferers of ‘grievance,’ such as Cycel, then their works should be very highly prized indeed. Not only that, universities will henceforth pass anyone who can demonstrate they have a grievance.”
There were large shouts and cries of approval from the section of the court that contained mainly students of Post-modern Thought (PMT) taught in Professor Marxie’s grievance studies classes. Marxie stood to the applause, fingered his gold earring turned, smiled and sat back down even though he knew that Shiffy was all about power and authority, and yes, he was a member of the powerful 1 per cent
Our story switches to a small studio in Hollywood where an ex Russian GRU operative called Sergi is playing Albinoni’s adagio in G minor on his base violin. Vladhere offers him a glass of pale coloured liquid, ‘Have a vodka. ‘No thanks… like all politicians I’m trying to give up Russian drinks.”
“Find anything?”
“Yes,” said a somewhat disappointed Sergi. “A 1970’s photograph of Shippy with long hair in a commune just outside LA, a press cutting from the NYT, a birth certificate from an orphanage, a CD of his wife mowing the lawn and a torn photograph of Donald Trump.”
“Good, now tell me about this exotic virus you have discovered,” enquired Vladhere.
Sergi put down the violin and looked upwards, “well now, it was me in my kitchen with WD40, a white turnip maliu float and a pair of black-market red pliers that done it. What a triumph! I have more details … but I can fix it in an instant if that is what you want. All I need is one of Hillary’s fingernails.”
“No, no! We don’t want the antidote we want to use the virus. Our plan is to give it to Doctor Fauchi, our Chinese Agent, for distribution. The virus will only strike those whose wealth is excessive and thus we will bring down the real power of the West, the neo-liberals, the billionaire 1 percenters.”
So the Russians made their plans in conjunction with the Chinese. The virus would only strike down those whose wealth was excessive. Doctor Fauchi agreed but we were not to know Fauchi was a little dyslexic, as the Chinese often are, and he confused ‘wealth’ with ‘health’. This can easily happen also with the medical profession. Ah … well maybe next time.
However … there were consequences in which would cause cities to be shut down, people to stay apart or even home and make them all wear masks, and mail in voting to be used for elections. Even the church became involved where it learns a new and therapeutically correct language. Sins become diseases and infections, the Eucharist becomes the equivalent of rescuing antibodies, and Jesus Christ becomes the great vaccine.
Would all this spell the final nail in the coffin for the ‘West’?
(to be continued)
Dear Dr Roberts,
As someone who respects your stance vis-a-vis Russia, I am wondering if what is needed now is not blind despair but a bit of reflection. From one Dr to another:
– Do you really believe the mother and apple pie story of American greatness? According to respectable sources, the USA has been responsible for killing something like 30 million people since 1945. Even if this were an exaggeration, does killing 20 million people without a declaration of war seem compatible with your narrative?
– Do you not see that we are simply observing the motion of a historical pendulum–decades of brainwashing about “rugged individualism”, “evil communism”, forced nation building, foreign policy based on foreign interests, “thank you for your service in…er… Grenada”, “you are a loser” etc. have simply pushed the pendulum in the opposite direction. The younger generations do not buy fake patriotism built on other people’s suffering (ask the Soviets how to develop a true one). More important, greed is no longer good.
The pendulum reached its rightmost point with Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and Karol Wojtyla. It was RR who destroyed the bargaining power of the American worker and started turning the country into a de-industrialised service economy. He got away with it because… “Evil empire!” All we’ve been seeing is a natural rebound. If you ever get to defend your Shangri-La against an evil aggressor, and stop destroying other countries at a rate of one every couple of years, you might have World’s sympathy. As things stand, you might have to wait awhile.
– I assure you that the good things that have come out of America (music, film, some literature, landscape and muscle cars (?)) will stay with me forever.
With respect
I agree with you although most of their movies are mostly manic propaganda.
Lot’s of special effects, loud shouting and shooting, fake manic laughs and a few cultivated ‘celebrities’ thrown in is their formula – they very rarely have anything worth sharing to express.
I’ve lived in LA and know a few of most famous producers and actors. They would tell you the same thing.
It’s Hollywood predatory propaganda that allowed this travesty of exploitative, psychopathic exploitation to continue far longer than it should have.
There is nothing great about a predatory country ruled by psychopathic traitors, where most people fear everyone and they don’t have any real friends (i.e. they get jealous of their ‘best’ friends – in their eternal high school mentality most Americans seem to keep forever due to I think trauma they experience there – everyone bullies everyone and everyone hates their high school ).
Dear Tomo,
Yes, I agree with you completely. I was referring to a different age – many decades ago. I am a pseudo-expert on Hollywood propaganda – and although they’ve always been an instrument of the Empire, they did produce some wonderful films.
tomo,
about the fact that high school never ends in the U.S., Bowling for Soup actually made a song about it. Great depiction of Americans in their video you can find on Jewtube. Actually, even people who act like that are still too nice to be Americans, relatively speaking.
Thanks – I noticed over years, only one American I have met had some nice things to say about her high school experience. The rest of them hated it, which always seemed very strange to me (being from Serbia – where most people have great memories of their time spent there). Nobody I knew in my high school in Serbia made fun of fat etc kids – any coward can do that. Every time we mention high school among old Serbian high school friends (even though we live all around the world and are still in touch 40 years later) – we laugh and get happy just from remembering what we used to do.
Compare this to the modern day Mordor- USSA gulag.
We used to make fun of teachers and do other funny things you need both balls and intelligence for. All we did was try to have as much fun together as possible.
From what I see American kids are lonely, lost, disoriented, like their country – in an accelerating downward spiral. Because they never had a normal biological social context to develop any confidence, they live in permanent state of scarcity and jealousy. One of my biggest surprises while living there was to see how even ‘best’ friends get very jealous of each others – like a bunch of stupid, fearful, lost slaves always fighting for master’s attention.
It was only when I used to spend a lot of time with some of the most senior people from HBO – that I realized even they are stuck in a permanent state of bullied-high school mentality – not just that they are extremely insecure and kind of stunted, all they seek is to be associated with someone ‘popular’. ‘good-looking’ and that’s all they ever care about. Even if these ‘heroes’ they constantly seek are known psychopaths, being associated with someone officially ‘popular’ is ALL that matters, no matter what.
Then I realized that was probably one of the very few things Americans have in common – being mentally stunted due to bullying in a depraved high school mentality where they painfully remain forever.
If I could upvote you +100 I would. As an English as a 2nd language (but born in US), you’ve pretty much hit the nail on the head with the high school experience. It’s a boiling pot of social (mostly) rejection or acceptance, trying to keep on top of being one of the “Cool kids”. Being interested in subjects gets you labeled as a nerd (except for the persistent 10-20% who went ahead regardless of branding, and it worked out in the end). It seems as though there’s an attempt for life imitating art in kids acting like what they see on TV, which is god-awful and one-dimensional, the only result is fake valences, jealousy and anxiety. No foundation for a continued sane society, hence at least some of the reason for what we see today.
As for PCR’s assertion that the neck pinning wasn’t fatal, I wish the cops had simply put him in the back of the police car sitting upright. There were enough of them around to chuck him in there. We didn’t see the entirety of the incident, so there will be missing data. But I also wonder whether the riots would’ve happened anyway, regardless of this particular outcome. My personal view is that the justice system is incentivized for “found guilty” to be a measure of efficacy for prosecutors (federal and local), which is a flawed logic.
As for the American Dream, I think it was about getting a shot to be/do/have what you could in a large, fairly open, fertile land, regardless of prior or current social class. Getting a change didn’t mean total success always– far from it– but at least a continues increase in standards of living for successive generations. This has basically stopped, as those < 30 realize that they will not be able to get the equivalent stuff or status that their parents were able to within similar time/effort. This is several books' worth of discussion on its own.
For myself, I wonder if it isn't better to just farm a plot of land and get by with only some of my high-tech skills in part time for extra money for the things I can't make myself. Should I continue to try and push toward a more hi-tech society (a la Blade Runner or Star Trek), or simply write it off as more depraved and not worth it? Living in high density cities with people who are functionally illiterate, uncultured and non-productive but with the ability to continue to vote for more "free stuff" has proven to be a recipe for disaster. More and more people are divorced from the reality of what it takes to make/cultivate those things that make survival and cultures endure and grow.

“Is there a possibility that the USA can pull back from collapse? I think so, but it will take men and women of courage, principal, and leadership. The task will be dangerous as the parasites that have infected the body politic will organize to defend their interests, probably leading to violence.
For certain, to survive intact, the USA will have to lose the overseas empire and become, for the first time, a true democracy.
Of greater concern than the parasitic politician/financier class is the current social drift that is happening in the USA. The ideals of courage, honor, duty, and social cohesion that drive societies to adapt and survive have been replaced with hedonism, greed, and self interest. No society composed of these disruptive virtues has ever managed to reconstitute itself.” 6 October 2011 JackJC
“..The ideals of courage, honor, duty, and social cohesion that drive societies to adapt and survive have been replaced with hedonism, greed, and self interest.”
I think this is exactly the root of what we have.
Unfortunately social cohesion etc took many centuries to evolve -once the essential skills to perpetuate it are lost – they are probably impossible to re-create. Not everything can be fixed
I’ve spent 14 years there and it seems to me that certain things cannot be fixed – America is like a family based on very ugly things like incest, pedophilia etc…things that are so ugly – it’s impossible to recover from.
Another problem is I think Americans have been brainwashed to basically fear reality.
They think it’s all about narrative – and they don’t expect it or want it to be true.
Very much disconnected not just from human biology and instincts, but also from reality. They expect and seek lies and are ready to kiss ass to any psychopathic ‘leader’ hoping to get some loot from countries USSA bombs and destroys.
I have never heard anyone in 14 years I spent there complain about what their country does to others, all the people they killed, being slaves of Israel/jews etc…
They still have faith that their psychopathic master will pay them – if only they pretend to believe all the lies their master wants them to believe.
It’s a nation of mental slaves
I have a similar observation. However much I love my relatives in the US, if I try to draw their attention to what America does overseas, they ignore me entirely except for one immigrant from Belgium who says that’s what America has to do to protect everyone from Russia. Some credit must go to the current so-called right, who demanded and got a plank in Trump’s platform to bring the troops home. Yet when I talk to these people, they really don’t care what our troops did there. I wonder how they can avoid completely the basic realization that America will be looked upon in history much the way Nazi Germany is with its “good Germans.” That I could not break through to them is not for lack of trying.
I have similar experiences with my friends here in Australia. Reality is too much for some people. They prefer an anxiety ridden self delusion combined with heavy doses of alcohol.
Bone and especially Patricia:
You have my sympathy for trying, but Western individualism is total fakery. As your failed attempts to convince your friends and relatives show convincingly:
Scratch a Western ’individualist’ and marvel at the little invertebrate that peeps out benesth
@Nussiminen
You crack me up. How many did you scratch to reach your aha moment? please do tell. I am still laughing.
@Ponder
Haha, yes I do enjoy being nasty whenever there is a good deal of substance to the passed verdict.
I made my top-notch ”case studies” during the years 2010 – 2016 at the on-line asylum ”La Russophobe”, where I posted under the nick ”Manfred Steifschwanz”. Reading and posting there was one of the most entertaining pastimes I have ever enjoyed. Given the high presence of Poles, Ukrainians, and Pindos it was really easy to drive them bonkers while not being inarticulate like themselves. Much of it is still available, and the ”articles” they published are, as you can imagine, extremely hilarious.
you are very right – Americans are mentally too weak (and socially not at all meaningfully connected) to be able to stand strong as individuals in any meaningful sense.
They confuse individuality with being painfully and confusingly turned against everyone else.
They think individuality means being selfish, focused on scarcity, back-stabbing and preventing others from succeeding. While buying expensive things they don’t need.
True strength and being able to survive and prosper (even when alone) comes form a life filled with meaningful and rich social interaction. That, I think is the main ingredient in developing confidence (Americans so painfully lack and try to cover that up with mania and loud greed).
It’s like those criminal wars they give Orwellian names to: Operation ‘freedom’ or when they bombed Serbia I think they called it Operation Merciful Angel … – like with their zio-masters – everything they say or think is a LIE. And they have lived that way for so long they now fear everything which is not a LIE
you are right – I have never seen so many drug addicts and alcoholics as I have seen in USA, UK and Canada – it’s the anglo-saxon tool to try to forget their ugly, genocidal history/present and their hopeless reality run by ruthless, lying (great actors) psychopaths.
The ultimate problem is that they are probably the biggest cowards I have ever seen, It took me a decade at least to see that. And jewish Hollywood helped turn them into cowards as per that saying: all cons work by praising the conned. As if they just assumed as long as H-wood propaganda represents USA as a brave, democratic country – that’s all we need…no matching reality necessary
It was only when Snowdon exposed the NSA spying etc (I lived in DC at the time and naively expected a revolution). TO my huge surprise – nobody said anything! When I reminded them that their country was becoming like East Germany in 70s – they told me they were scared. Too scared to talk about it even. And these are all senior people with great careers, some working for Pentagon etc..
I emailed a friend whose father wrote the Civil Rights Act to express my shock. Even he was scared and he told me to watch what I was saying, since we were all monitored etc…
I thought his father was spinning in his grave…
God forbid that the USA “pull back from collapse”. Frankly I hope it collapses as long and as hard as all those poor nations it has ass raped into oblivion over the years of it’s malignant existence.
Anything less and the risk is that it will emerge from it’s purgatory without having learned those lessons it needs to learn to become a useful member of the family of nations, rather than the psychotic, posychopathic, murderous, greedy lying sack of crap it has been allowed to be for far too long.
I would say what I really think, but I am trying to be nice…..

From back when I thought writing might make a difference.
There’s some of us still living hear who actually get it; but I hear you, you’re either labeled a heretic and socially ostracized for pointing out the empire’s many sins, or more often, met with a blank stare from those who are so completely disconnected that they have no idea what you’re even talking about. I credit that to the abysmal education system (which goes far beyond the system itself, and directly toward the things (propaganda) they deem to be worthy of teaching), rampant substance abuse, the mass/social media entertainment simulacrum, and the fact that most people are preoccupied 24/7 with making enough money to keep the shell came going. Life in America has successfully been reduced to a mere consumerist existence for most, who could never conceive of it ever being any better. And it almost certainly never will be.
I think most empires have a ‘use by’ date. The Romans had ‘civi Romanus sum’ which they sold to their people. It was the greatest thing in the world – Roman citizenship – proven to stop mobs in their tracks because an assault on a Roman citizen brought Roman legions shortly thereafter. The stirrup, immigration, and economic collapse destroyed this commodity.
The British Empire sold ‘rule of law’, technology, and trade. Many native peoples threw their support for the Empire as they would otherwise lose lucrative trade practices without it. A good example of how this was used to effect is the ordered settling of the Canadian prairies compared to the chaotic and often deadly US version. The ‘rule of law’ lost its glamour in the late 1800’s with the Boer war but it took until the 1950’s to finally decay to irrelevancy with the loss of India. The other factor affecting this loss of glamour was the rise of technology in inimical and administered colonial territory.
The US built its’ empire on ‘democracy and freedom’ with a heavy dose of capitalism and one way trade. A lot of foreign nations supported the US as they would otherwise lose lucrative trade practices. At some point however, people understood that democracy is a sham as currently practiced, and freedom is an illusion.
There are many reasons why an empire may fall, but at the end of the day I think one of the main ones is that people see that the commodity they bought into was an illusion and so it loses its’ meaning. Once that social contract breaks it is not possible to restore it. In the US the curtain has been pulled back and many people see the US for what it really is – fake democracy, fake freedom, broken systems.
There will be new empires, they will also have a commodity, people will buy into it, they will rise and they will fall.
The chickens have come home to roost…
It was only a matter of time that the USA would be confronting the results of their economic, cultural and political system and ideology.
An extremely capitalistic, unregulated, individualistic, materialistic, arrogant (exceptionalism) country. Inequality, poverty, debt and lack of culture and education have produced a huge number of lost and clueless young adults (generations).
A few observations…
– I agree, the collapse of the U.S. is now irreversable. It would take the immediate emergence of an FDR leader to take charge with drastic measures. Our failed American culture is incapable of producing the next FDR or JFK, or Eisenhower, etc.
– White people have self-selected their own demise.
– White Americans gave us Wall Street and free market capitalism which in tandem destroyed industrial productivity. (No, it wasn’t China.).
– White Americans have even rejected to exist by rejecting pro-creation.
Yes, White peoples will likely not survive, but only because they have chosen death.

– White Americans, over the course of a few decades, rejected Christianity in favor of evangelical, fundamentalist nutter-ism. This did more to destroy Christianity than anything else.
– White Americans gave us decades of imperial warfare and military expansionism instead of investing in modern infrastructure.
who financed Protestantism since Cromwell & the English Revolution that ensued. all those crackpot “evangelicos” corrupting the US polity made Trump & Bolsonaro president. wherever they thrive, under Kasher watering & the most humble peoples’ contributions, the whole social fabric gets worm-eaten, regression in all aspects.
“Once the bedrock of a country is discredited among the young generation, the country collapses. It is too late to do anything about it. The question is: who will survive it?
Not white people”
It’s even worse, the liberal/bolshevik/anti-white alliance has forced mississippi to deface their sacred flag:
US Governor Signs Bill Removing Confederate Emblem From Mississippi Flag
https://sputniknews.com/us/202006301079761873-us-governor-signs-bill-removing-confederate-emblem-from-mississippi-flag/
Mississippi Governor Tate Reeves on Tuesday signed a bill removing the Confederate emblem from the Mississippi flag.
“A flag is a symbol of our present, of our people and of our future. For those reasons, we need a new symbol,” Reeves said.
The measure to change the flag was fast-tracked over the weekend and passed Sunday with a 91-23 House of Representatives vote followed by a 37-14 Senate vote, NBC News reported.
The bill also states that a commission will decide on a new flag design that removes the Confederates symbol but still incorporates the “In God We Trust” slogan. A redesign approved by the committee will be included on the November ballot. If the new design is rejected, the commission will design a new flag that will then be presented to the legislature.”
The pc cancel culture cultural marxists have even gotten to the mississippi state legislature. I’m afraid the white man is doomed in america….
An American and a Russian go into a bar. The American is going on about how he lost everything when the economy collapsed, his house, his job, his wife. It seemed like the end of the world to him. The Russian replied, “You poor man, is this your first time?’
My take on this is that it will take a few more decades before the US is ready for collapse. The OP is right about how the culture is totally falling apart and the people in charge are tolerating a more rioting than they should, but America got through similar stuff in the 1960s. If you want a total collapse, it isn’t enough for the state to just be weak, there has to be someone strong enough to take over and seize territory/authority from the failing state.
Mexico already has rival authority in the form of the drug cartels, which are now governing territory, collecting taxes, defeating federal forces in pitched battles, and so forth. In America, I think it’s still going to take quite a while to get to that point, as I’ve explained here: https://www.twilightpatriot.com/2020/06/uncomfortable-lessons-from-george-floyd.html
whenever i see the “it takes some moar time” my human intelligence human learned triggers – omama : gimme some moar tame. & btw this is mic fail lol
The demographics of the us point in one direction. Lation is the future of America, not black. If you think that there is a great love between latins and blacks, I do not know where you get your info from. There are huge parts of the population that are not in support of the blacks. Their voices will be heard and they have not been heard yet. If you don’t believe that a huge backlash is come to the black community from many directions, pull your head out of the hole ostrich.
I feel bad for the black community. Their leaders always get co-opted by the corporate state. I have known several, and like all other groups are generally nice and have much to offer.
Dear Marcus,
The inherent danger of the racial/ethnic ticking bomb that is the modern US is in the ultimate lack of compatibility among various claims. Latinos (who are currently playing the victim card – like the Irish and the Jews before them) will soon realise (if they haven’t already) that they have the numbers and wherewithal to challenge for power. If history is a guide, they will bring with them their flavour of reactionary Catholicism and racist oppression and will aim to recover their lost northern provinces. WASPs used to be the glue of the American ethnos. This started to dissipate in the 19th Century (various nativist initiatives). The whites will fare as badly as the blacks.
I agree with Laurent’s comments below. You’ve just lost credibility Paul Craig Roberts.
Bear in mind Dr. Roberts was President Reagan’s economics advisor.
Being wrong from time to time happens to everybody even the best.
Absolutely Laurent…PCR is an immensely brave and honest warrior who fights Neoconservatism…he got it wrong this time…we all make mistakes.

Thank you. This article shocked me. I am glad (I really mean it) to see I am not the only one.
What will V. V. Putin and Xi Jinping do during Western implosion? Right now, they both
appear to have mostly passive, certainly alert defensive, posture, in spite of many
provocations, and will keep it this way in the near future. Seems highly coordinated.
Both appear ready to help Western people, under certain fair conditions (unacceptable by
Western deep state, so far). Is their intention to ensure Western peaceful collapse , (as happened
to USSR) or do they want to extend BRI initiative (again under fair conditions) offering salvation
not just to West but to its deep state as well? Both strategies have +/- , and I am sure that there
are others.

“George Floyd, a felon, misogynist woman abuser who killed himself with an overdose of Fentanyl, has been elevated into a national hero. The police officer restraining him when he self-desructed is charged with murder. Americans are so poorly educated that they do not know that a knee on the side of the neck does not obstruct breathing. Floyd couldn’t breathe because the fatal dose of Fentanyl was killing him. You can get the facts of the effects of Fentanyl from this official source: https://www.drugabuse.gov/publications/drugfacts/fentanyl
Here is the medical examiner’s report: https://www.scribd.com/document/464269559/George-Floyd-Autopsy-FULL-REPORT#from_embed?campaign=VigLink&ad_group=xxc1xx&source=hp_affiliate&medium=affiliate
Unless the false murder charge against the police officer is withdrawn, do not expect police protection from black and Antifa violence.”

“The weaponization of medical language emboldened white supremacy with the authority of the white coat. How will we stop it from happening again?
By Ann Crawford-Roberts, Sonya Shadravan, Jennifer Tsai, Nicolás E. Barceló, Allie Gips, Michael Mensah, Nichole Roxas, Alina Kung, Anna Darby, Naya Misa, Isabella Morton, Alice Shen on June 6, 2020
As per standardized medical examination, Floyd’s underlying health conditions and toxicology screen were documented. These are ordinary findings that do not suggest causation of death, yet headlines and the May 29 charging document falsely overstated the role of Floyd’s coronary artery disease and hypertension, which increase the risk of stroke and heart attack over years, not minutes. Asphyxia—suffocation—does not always demonstrate physical signs, as other physician groups have noted.
Without this important medical context, however, the public was left to reconcile manipulated medical language with the evidence they had personally witnessed. Ultimately, the initial report overstated and misrepresented the role of chronic medical conditions, inappropriately alluded to intoxicants, and failed to acknowledge the stark reality that but for the defendant’s knee on George Floyd’s neck, he would not be dead today.
By Monday, June 1, in the context of widespread political pressure, the public received two reports: the preliminary autopsy report commissioned by Floyd’s family by private doctors, and—shortly thereafter—a summary of the preliminary autopsy from the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office. Both reports stated that the cause of Floyd’s death was homicide: death at the hands of another.
By inaccurately portraying the medical findings from the autopsy of George Floyd, the legal system and media emboldened white supremacy, all under the cloak of authoritative scientific rhetoric. They took standard components of a preliminary autopsy report to cast doubt, to sow uncertainty; to gaslight America into thinking we didn’t see what we know we saw. In doing so, they perpetuated stereotypes about disease, risky behavior and intoxication in Black bodies to discredit a victim of murder. This state of affairs is not an outlier—it is part of a patterned and tactical distortion of facts wherein autopsy reports are manipulated to bury police violence and uphold white supremacy.”
“and failed to acknowledge the stark reality that but for the defendant’s knee on George Floyd’s neck, he would not be dead today”
What is your evidence for this statement?
The source of the problem arose from the 1960s when LBJ took the Democratic Party to the right and began the Viet Nam War via the support of mainly the Southern Democrats in Congress. The war caused a lot of leftist activity. Over time those LBJ Democrats switched to the Republicans, leaving the Democratic Party open to takeover via the 60s war protestor people and their followers (aka Clintons Feinstein Pelsoi Sanders Obama etc…) and big money foreign interests via Soros and corporations making big $ out of importing have funded them for other agendas.
Those leftist Democrats believe they should have won the 2016 election and wont accept the result and their assembled teams of rioters are disrupting the country.
Things will only return to a better state of affairs after that 60s era lot are dead & buried and or other more stable elements of the Democratic Party move to remove them, or form a new party. Neither is not far off.
But deeper problems have arisen from globalized trade policies, too much immigration and automation not resulting in enough jobs / $ for average Americans. That has to be addressed too. The US population is too large and should have been capped at 250 million. Also giving too much tax breaks to the rich etc.. has also caused the wealth-income divide.
Unless action is taken on all these fronts the US will be in a downhill spiral.
A lot of the problems also go back to the false illusion that high levels of immigration create growth.
It creates limited short term growth which then peters out within a decade leaving a medium to longer term problem as those people need to find jobs and income streams.
The US economy did its best between 1930 – 1965 when immigration was low or next to nothing. And its social strength was also at it best at that time.
There has not been a proper public or Congressional debate on population policy and capping it at a sustainable level.
Most past politicians have peddled to the notion if you have high immigration it is a panacea for most economic ills. But the past few decades now show that is untrue.
Same for EU.
Imagine the state the US or EU would be in if it had 500 million to a billion people.
No, limits have to be imposed.

In Switzerland (30% of the population have not the swiss passport) the second generation of Italian and Spanish immigrant of the eighties are now well integrated even as lawyers, doctors, intermediary manager in the administration, insurance, bank etc…
To do that you must have a real system of public school and free university. American dream is just the rule of violence to increase profits. Of course this system failed to obtain such a result.

PCR’s point of view is that the existence of the USA is suspended from the exceptional/racist vision of its white population. And as this vision has now disappeared, then the US will collapse. It’s not a stupid to say that.
The US needs to replace the failing identity with a new one capable of maintaining the cohesion of the federal state. A period of crisis in which many will lack the necessary is not conducive to a new social contract. The selfishness inherent in the values of the founding fathers will push some still prosperous areas to secession. Who will then bring them into line? Too many parameters to outline scenarios. But the problem is there and it is without solution for the moment.
The $ is at the end of its life and its disappearance will deprive the army of its power, opening the door to disintegration. The army can no longer be the last resort. It is scattered over the entire planet and to avoid disintegration it must withdraw. Is this mercenary-spirited force capable of maintaining cohesion? This is what I see in the fog of war that blinds us. It’s seems to me that a lot hangs on whether the dollar falls or not?
yes the reserve currency status is the linchpin in the house of cards slipping away sooner than we all think – maybe right around the corner – coupled with the citizens divided and fleeing from the chaos is a double house of cards falling away.
no funding for the MIC multiple excursions and no welfare, to include make work government jobs and assorted Affirmative Action Agenda Jobs. all over ! Blue States are bankrupt!
no sane person is catching the falling knife in countless cities and sticking around – the blacks can have the Blue Property and with it the political management which ends up as some version of Haiti – as the NYPD sits on the sidelines until they go away as well as the city disintegrates.
Secession is the result – The “United” States doesnt exist
long live: The Blue States of America & The Red States of America
PCR,
It is an anachronism to judge the past by today. It should be judged by its past instead.
When America was founded this was how things were done. Barbary pirates from Africa enslaving European women from Mediterranian beaches and sellings them as sex slaves in the middle east.
Eskimo’s from North American attacked Iceland and depopulated a huge part of it it.
European descent Irish slaves were sent to the US and added to the existing slave population.
The slave owner class from this period was paid handsomely by the British people when slavery was abolished using the might of the British empire to unilaterally enforce it world wide.
That slave owner class controls the mass media, the Judiciary, and many parts of the current system that is in an advanced state of rot. They want to jump like an agile ninja out of the way of all of their combined cluster of mistakes and let the working class (if you do not a means of income separate from a job you are working class) take the rap.
If that means one group in the working class fight another they are all for it. Their own children will be at every advertised rally trying to subvert and control everything to their liking.
American’s must fight back:
Do not use caffeine. Do not ingest Aspartame. (added to every kind of drink for example)
Have your own water source (as tap water at least has lots of sex hormones and neurotropics added to it) like rain water and grow your own food wherever possible. As few inputs from the system as possible as they will be corrupted and adulterated.
Save for a rainy day things cannot be sequestered like precious metals.
That Khazarian gang are intensely and slyly ethnocentric and they project that onto everyone else. They are training in multitudes as psychology and tricks like strawman (proving something slightly unrelated to the question asked) and non sequitar and adhominem and making a headline bold and making the content an exact refutation of the headline and all of those propagandistic things the western media does and you may feel down at the moment but this cannot hold.
psychopaths and psychopathic ‘cultures’ find it very hard to not lie. When caught – they double up.
I think they get a sense of a reward – when they fool their victims, especially in very un-intuitive, devious ways – like when Israelis used photos of some rocket launchers in Ukraine as a proof that Palestinians bombed Israel. When exposed, they doubled up – they used a photo from a different angel (again of the same thing in Ukraine) – to try to ‘prove’ their original claim was true.
Also when they kill children in Gaza – they then try to frame it on Palestinians.
Psychopaths have very different games/needs than normal people but it’s very useful to discredit them and never trust anything they say ever again. They lose all their power that way.
This is our main problem as species – we have predatory psychopaths in positions of power – and they cannot care about others even if they wanted to due to their mental sickness.
Read that book Jewish History Jewish Religion by Israel Shahek (there is a free version on pdfdrive.com) for a good explanation how their whole predatory religion is structured basically like a psychopath support group. I was really shocked when I read it (as much as I was shocked when I read books on psychopaths for the first time like Without Conscience by Robert Hare etc).
”The fact of the matter is that the United States, its history, and all of its meritorious values have been denounced by white liberal elites as racist and evil.”
Well, these US ”meritorious values” are quite evident from spending 93% of its recorded history in a state of war, and always as the instigator. The White Liberal Elites are somewhat, ahem, late to call a spade a spade. As an additional bonus, PCR goes bonkers. Just has to concoct a ridiculous diatribe about this # $ % * George Floyd and his £ ^ • * undeserved victim status. Think that helps?
Lets look what those elites are doing in the middle east – simultaneously annexing parts of two countries – Syria and Palestine. (Remember the white house lawn agreement? Scrap that.) Having attacked a third in the last 15 years – Lebannon and killed over 1000 palestinian civilians and still attacking Syria now almost every day.
This racist active colony with its giant Berlin wall should be wound down. Would you personally agree to that Nussiminen?

‘George Floyd, a felon, misogynist woman abuser who killed himself with an overdose of Fentanyl’ – Dr Roberts, this is very unworthy of you, and false.
Over 20 years ago, I took down a (white) man who was trying to rob a bus. He was high on drugs, so much so, that even after the cash box from the bus landed in the gutter, with him facing it, he made no attempt to take the box/money and run, he just stood there. That’s when I took him down.
He was lying on his right side, head on the cold pavement (sidewalk) – it was December in London, with me kneeling on the left side of his head with my right knee, my left knee was digging into the area just below his left ribcage, with his left arm up in the air in my arm lock of it. I told the bus driver to sit on his lower legs, while we waited for the police to arrive.
Every now and again, maybe every 2 mins or so, he managed to say: ‘Arrgh, I can’t breathe.” We laughed at that; he was still alive.
It took me 3 times to ask a woman to phone the police before they finally arrived, no rush by them, and he was eventually led away in handcuffs.
I am not saying this to brag in any way, it could so easily have gone very wrong. In fact, I regret doing it (and haven’t done anything like it since, even when some other petty thief ran into a shop in front of me and stole stuff last year, I didn’t try stopping him).
Regardless of Floyd’s criminal record, which, as far as I know, ended in 2009 (?), and even his alleged taking of fentanyl, that is no reason to kill him – the drug didn’t, especially after he said he couldn’t breathe, AND putting body weight on the very vulnerable neck area.
Even if, even if the dirty ‘nigger’ Floyd had died in consequence of the fentanyl or so, the police brutal violence is not defensable, in any way.
It existed. ´Publicly.
Yes, and when-where was the dose taken? right in the ground or?
It was against a black, and its extent and degree was b.e.c.a.u.s.e he was black.
If the person had the legal sins of his own is absolutely irrelevant to purposes of the legal, moral and political reactions it stirred up all over the US. And flooded over abroad.
The racism you defend here is one of things killing the US.
I think that the empire whilst seemingly imploding will not self-destruct, what we are witnessing is a transformation.
Internal dissent is incapable of dismantling the real power, especially when it is influenced by it.
Let’s say hypothetically that some real hard proof surfaced (eg declassified documents) that the CIA offed the Kennedys. Then what? Anyone involved is now long gone and unlike the presidency, the CIA is a nebulous entity. Where to direct the outrage?
It will probably just result in the pull down &/or renaming of a few more edifices.
A year ago, Michael Hudson predicted that the USA will become more like Argentina:
“Bonnie Faulkner: What would the United States look like if the dollar is no longer the world’s reserve currency?
Michael Hudson: If it continues to let Wall Street do the economic planning, the economy will look like that of Argentina.
Bonnie Faulkner: And what does Argentina look like?
Michael Hudson: A narrow oligarchy at the top, keeping labor at the bottom, taking away labor’s rights to unionize – an economy whose financial and military sectors have won the class war.”
https://michael-hudson.com/2019/07/de-dollarizing-the-american-financial-empire/
(about 4/5 the way down)
I thought at the time that we were still a long way from there, but looks like it’s progressing that way now. The middle class is being squeezed, mostly down.
We are yet to enter the military intervention phase, wait a bit till things get more desperate.
Some observations on the US by Rabindranath Tagore (1913 Noble Prize in literature)
From an essay by Stephen N. Hay entitled “Rabindranath Tagore in America – American Quarterly, Vol. 14, No. 3 (Autumn 1962), pp. 439-463 (see http://www.jstor.org/pss/2710456 for the first page).
Tagore visited the US five times between 1912 and 1930, met a wide variety of people, gave lectures from coast to coast, and offered penetrating and illuminating comments, some of which did not please his hosts. While deploring the commercialism, materialism, fanatical nationalism and the deceptions of the mass media, he also felt that perhaps the US was a new type of country which held the beacon to the future of humanity. Here are some of his observations (please see the original article for detailed citations):
“Though it is too early for me to pronounce any opinion on this country, I must say I do not like it. America, like an unripe fruit, has not got its proper flavour yet. It has a sharp and acid taste.” (Tagore to William Rothenstein, October 31, 1912)
“American people have an unhealthy appetite for sugar candy and for lectures on any subject and from anybody…. I am afraid they have spotted me, – I am being stalked….I have not come to discover America or be discovered by Americans.” ((Tagore to Rothenstein, December 2, 1912, Dec 30, 1912)
“The people in this country are hearty in their kindness but there is a rudeness in their touch, it is vigorous but not careful…Somehow, I have an impression that America has a great mission in the history of Western Civilization, for it is rich enough not to concern itself in the greedy exploitation of weaker nations. Its hands are free and perhaps it will hold up the torch of freedom before the world.” (Tagore to Rothenstein, Feb 14, 1913)
“But still I must bear it (Nobel Prize for Literature in November 1913) proudly, rejoicing in the fact that the East and the West ever touch each other like twin gems in the circlet of humanity, that they had met long before Kipling was born and will meet long after his name is forgotten.” (Tagore to Harriet Monroe, December 31, 1913)
“When this engine of organization (i.e. nationalism) begins to attain a vast size, and those who are mechanics are made into parts of the machine, then the personal man is eliminated to a phantom…..Not merely subject races, but you who live under the delusion that you are free, are everyday sacrificing your freedom and humanity to the fetish of nationalism, living in the dense poisonous atmosphere of world-wide suspicion and greed and panic.” (Tagore in “Nationalism in the West,” Atlantic Monthly CXIX, March 1917)
“This is a beautiful country, I believe it has a great future…. America is unhampered and free to experiment for the progress of humanity. Of course she will make mistakes, but out of these series of mistakes she will come to some higher synthesis of truth and be able to hold up the banner of Civilization. She is the best exponent of Western ideals of humanity.” (Los Angeles Examiner, October 7, 9, 11, 1916; Portland Telegram, September 26, 1916)
“These houses are not for human habitation…. There is no grace, no beauty, just bulk).”(On his dislike for Manhattan’s skyscrapers – to various reporters, 1916)
“I find in America a wonderful hunger and aspiration. The hunger is genuine and is, I believe, a reaction to the pursuit of wealth that has characterized your industrial life.” (Philadelphia Public Ledger, November 7, 1920)
“The idea of freedom, which the people in this country have, is the imaginary freedom of a fly shut up in a glass case whose walls are invisible. They are surrounded by an impregnable globe of unreality to which they cling and believe that they are in solid possession of the sky… This deludes them with a freedom that is of the eye, while immuring them in a confinement that is of the spirit…. Our real freedom is in the world of our own creation, where our mind can work unhindered and our soul finds its throne from which to govern its own dominion.” (Tagore to C. F. Andrews, cited in Tagore, “East to West,” Atlantic Monthly)
“The men and women are feeding themselves with extra dishes and laughing extra loud. But there is not the least touch of the eternal in the heart of their merriment, no luminous serenity of joy, no depth of devotion. How immensely different from the religious festivals of our country! These Western people have made their money but killed their poetry of life…. How to convince them of the utter vanity of their pursuits! They do not have the time to realize that they are not happy.” ((Describing a Christmas party near New York – Tagore, Letters to a Friend, pp. 112-13)
One can only wonder about what he would have thought and said if he returned to the world of today.
thanks for posting – I have his book on my bed stand (I had to read while in high school in Yugoslavia – the Gardener I think is the name of the title in English)
“George Floyd, a felon, misogynist woman abuser who killed himself with an overdose of Fentanyl” ??? We all saw the police officer killing him. 8min long breaking his neck!!! It does not matter what “George Floyd” was, what matter is that: LIVE, in front of all running camera streaming directly to online platforms, a police officer was murdering him.
What someone writes down also say much about a person and I think that “Paul Craig Roberts” is also revealing his true sorry nature, what is behind the mask.

“After the Vietnam War when American civil society took to the streets to protest against such infamy against a people that was not attacking or threatening the gringo peace, the media and the elites of the western world silenced those voices and suddenly nobody but he remembered or found out about the new abuses that his soldiers have continued to commit worldwide and they don’t even know that their society was subjected to drug addiction and they don’t even worry about it; they sat down to live off their exceptional nature and their reputation as superpowers. Their empire falls apart and those of the super army do not know it, they only think about living off the check they are given for their “exploits”.”
From The Mod.
What is being pulled down is a huge symbolic neon-sign flashing out “American Exceptionalism” — the tin soldiers on their horses are merely photo-ops for a distracting media.
The whole lot (330-million) are living off reserve currency privilege and cunning 20th century strategy that saw it cynically manipulate global affairs (of Europeans mostly) to engineer reserve fiat currency dominance and exceptional negotiation power via war-craft and dollar-oil dynamics.
The main crisis is the accelerating discounted relevance to future global affairs. A large far-beyond-affordable military overhead, mostly in catch-up mode at critical technology sectors, with its autopoiesis fingering down like webs of cancer cells into the national/state/county economy, will do anything (review 9/10 audit review response and 9/11 Building 7) to avoid fundamental systemic change.
Nothing much else matters, except the Wall Street Gang and their (note printing) Federal Reserve and the ‘donations’ that boomerang out round another cancerous organ in Occupied Palestine and back into the pockets of the various donating parties etc.
As with all this emerging political agenda focused around power — and mostly codified as white and male etc: there is deep fundamental confusion in many places between the nature of power; its generation; and its distribution. The ‘1%’ have largely lifted off like the proverbial pyramid apex (Eye of Providence) on the back-side of the dollar note fueled by QE-forever Fed-fuel. The 72-genders are left to ‘two-party’ the slaves into the next dream-state of perfect equality (of distribution) of a fast diminishing generation system that was indeed largely the artifact of white male culture.
One suspects the Russians and Chinese are not preparing for war against a known threat (the passing white male culture); but rather the unknown threat of a nuclear-powered nut-house of postmodern ‘all equalized’ starving, raving, non-male, non-white, multi-culture global rampage looking for the ‘lost value’ reality in their post-exceptional, post-reserve currency, non-white (but fair) nightmare.
The USSR had their dissolving moments (and the Western world laughed). The Soviet youth had been seduced by the Beatles music and Western illusions. Now the US youth have lost their way in a similar pining for the Utopian dream that only authentic self-hate and MMT (magical monetary theory) reparations of a fast depreciating fiat confetti can buy. Now Metanoia wrings out her haggish hair (at least until November 2020) — she was depicted as a shadowy goddess, cloaked and sorrowful, who accompanied [followed] Kairos, the god of Opportunity, sowing regret and inspiring repentance for the “missed moment” (Wikipedia). A little research into archetypes will show a strange semblance between the forelock image of Donald Trump and the personified spirit (daimon) of opportunity depicted with a long lock of hair hanging down from his forehead which suggested that Opportunity could only be grasped as he approached (Wikipedia).
Whether USA-Kairos-2020 has passed yet (or lingers for four more strange years) will only be known in late-November 2020. However, the shadow of Metanoia creeps closer to the rising pitch of mass-multi-colored-madness; USA style. Either way, the rest of the world moves quietly on down various Belts and Roads on offer (mostly non-black, btw).
@Zero Relevance
Don’t deflect. Russia and China are preparing for known white threat that has been imperialistic from the very start. That instigated WW1 & 2 and nearly proceeded with operation unthinkable but bombed the civilians of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
They know the evil they face and the threat from this entity which is hellbent on never relinquishing its exceptionalism and might decided to burn the whole world than loose its exploitative position and became a normal entity that lives by the rule of law and fairness.
Don’t project its diabolical menace to others. Is reality getting too close to handle?
Normally I would agree with PCR, but his attempt to shamelessly blame Floyd’s death on Fentantyl and whitewash the actions of the officer who murdered him and the officers who stood by saying and doing nothing basically destroys the entire premise of this article and casts PCR himself in an extremely negative light. PCR has clearly gotten this one wrong and is now just engaging in divisive rhetoric which will only further divide people even more.
It’s a real shame because normally I would agree with the things PCR writes but this is a bridge too far, and indicates vast ignorance on his part about what happened during the event George Floyd was murdered. George Floyd would not be dead today if he had never encountered the police that day. Period. Furthermore, things he did decades in the past, and for which he has already paid for, do not make him deserving of a literal execution in the streets today. PCR engages in blatant logical fallacies in order to justify outrageous brutality on the behalf of the police.
What does he have to say to the thousands more with clean criminal records who were either murdered by police or have the living daylights kicked out of them by the police, some even to the point they have permanent injuries? I have met many of these people in person. Strangely, PCR does not mention any of these people or indicate that this is even a problem.
PCR would love to pretend police brutality is not a problem in this country while continuing to blame the victims of said violence. At the same time, defunding the police is not the answer either – clearly we need some kind of police force in this country. However, for the police to be a force for good in our country and not be used by the Elite as violent oppressors, then the laws need to change, the drug war needs to end, American cops need to stop being trained in Israel by IDF thugs and killers, for-profit prisons need to be abolished, and police need to be trained to de-escalate more often instead of using overly violent force in almost all situations, when most of the time it is uncalled for. These are the demands which people should be making and which should be met so that the situation can stabilize in this country and reach an acceptable state of affairs.
As for the Saker, I hope that his personal viewpoints are a little bit more nuanced than what PCR has written out in this article. Obviously we aren’t all going to agree on everything, but if this is the official position he is adopting as well, then even he will only contribute to causing more division between people on this topic, even in his own community that he has created, due to the lack of ability to see things from the perspective of both sides of the aisle.
Anonymous, totally agree with you.
His views are through the lens of privilege, I bet he has never gone hungry or want of anything he desired. Mr Roberts needs a few years inside a penitentiary and see how the system he loves so much treats humans.
After reading all of these comments from obvious non-American posters, I felt compelled to respond and express my viewpoints. It’s obvious that Americans are viewed as selfish, and as many posters mentioned, mentally unstable, too materialistic or what have you. I will admit that many Americans focus way too much on material things and live beyond their means.
However, one fact remains clear; there still are an incredibly high number of immigrants, legal and illegal who are trying to gain access to the United States. Why do you suppose that is? I’m sure many of you will argue that they have been falsely informed that it’s a great place to live. I’ll tell you why. Because it is the best country in the world. Every country has its problems. But the United States is still the best country to offer the common person a way to improve their lifestyle and standard of living.
In regards to the negative comments pointed at the founding fathers, that is absolutely pure rubbish! To note that Washington was a slave owner is a irrelevant because slavery was common place at the time and if you did not have slaves you were ridiculed. I’m not justifying it and saying its proper. I’m arguing that you have to take it in context based on the times. The founding fathers main goal was to create a society that offered and allowed freedoms and liberties to every race and creed, which was not the case in England where most of them or they’re lineage originated. Ever hear of something called the Bill of Rights? It’s freely available to those who are able to read!

Dear Uncle Sam,
Please understand that those of us who are not American do not give three monkeys about how great you are (there are a few zombies who still worship Murica). All we are asking you is to stop oppressing the world and start paying attention to your own problems. Do you thing you would be so great (pure codswallop) if you weren’t sucking out the wealth and lifeblood of poor countries? You were lucky twice (after WWI and II). There will be no third time lucky for you. The world has woken up. This is friendly advice from someone who has experienced your genocidal tender mercies.
Cher Uncle Sam,

“This time I express myself in my native language I am more at ease. I would be very curious to know what factual arguments you base yourself on when you claim that the United States is the ” best country in the world “. I can prove to you the opposite by factual arguments. However, I must point out to you that I very much dislike prioritising countries, for reasons that I could possibly explain to you if you were interested.
I studied the United States a lot when I was in college. Let me ask you a few questions. Tell me, why does the United States have the lowest life expectancy at birth of the G7 countries ? Ten years less than that of Japan or Norway ? Why is the consumption of hard drugs per million inhabitants hundreds of times higher than in France ? Why do you have three times more poor people compared to France (in proportion to the number of inhabitants)? Why is the United States the country with the highest number of patients and deaths due to coronavirus.
You see France has a virtually free health system. Here you can study up to the doctorate for free. Yet, showing humility, I never say that France is the best country in the world(the yellow vests show this very well).
Do you really think that the average standard of living in the United States is higher than in Switzerland, France or Germany ?
I probably do not live in the best country in the world, but at least, in France, unlike the United States, the average citizen is able to differentiate the African continent from Latin America and in Paris, Lyon or Marseille, I do not see hundreds of people sleeping in their cars on a parking lot.”
@Uncle Sam
They come to the US and the west seeking normalcy and unemployment support after the US destroyed their countries and way of life —-a simple way to bankrupt the west wouldn’t you agree? How many seem willing to be productive members of society do you see?. Some seek to infiltrate and destroy it from within just as it destroyed them. Some are brainwashed to begin with and then reality catches up real quick. Do you know how many having reached there and proceeded to red-pill their folks back from where they came? Many may still want to get to any western country just because said countries have never let go of their choke holds on 3rd world countries? More people are more awake than you think. Wonder why said immigrants set up their own no go areas for “natives”? Wonder why they are never interested in integrating with said adopted country? Enough said
” Americans are so poorly educated that they do not know that a knee on the side of the neck does not obstruct breathing. Floyd couldn’t breathe because the fatal dose of Fentanyl was killing him. ”
Dr. PCR, Please educate us and prove your point your self , by allowing someone to push his knee on the side of your neck and allowing other 2 people to press their knees on your chest and stamach that you can still breath. Be my hero.
“Indoctrinated by their education to see white people as the source of abuse and oppression of other races, young whites have been deracinated.”…Well, it was white people from USA who started dozens of wars(exception 2008-2016 period, if you wanna argue BHO was a free president), it was white people from USA who enslaved for centuries black people, it was white people from USA who invaded, stole and looted other countries all around the World. All these abuse and oppression were/are real. You can argue if youth should be ashamed from their ancestors abuse and oppression, but don’t try to hide them or deny them
I think we, in the USA, are undergoing a very deep transformation that may be positive or negative and much depends on each of us. The forces of history as described by PCR, who has seen this crisis coming for decades, are toward destruction of the old America but it did not start by those who are now in the streets–it started when the degree of corruption went beyond a tipping point somewhere in the 90s. Everything has been gamed, the elites are immune from the law unless they piss of other members of the ruling-class. We have four classes–the elites, the upper-middle-class professionals, the rest of the middle and working class and the poor. There is a separate and unequal justice system for each of those classes. When the financial crisis hit in 2007-9 the criminals who deliberately caused and profited from the crisis became immune to prosecution by order of the POTUS, Obama, and that closed the door on the old USA–it was ailing and Obama put the bullet to the back of the head and ended its misery. What we have now is a rapidly building era of disunity and chaos which will be resolved through some level of civil war–a “war” which will have more than two sides even within the ruling-class.
Biden, already experiencing dementia, will lead us into further chaos by putting in power perhaps the most corrupt and reckless elements of the ruling elites. I believe, as many now believe, that this will bring violence at home and war abroad and the break-up of the USA into regions of some kind. We will see. Out of this I think sanity and a new realism will emerge because ALL our institutions from education to the military to the police are SYSTEMICALLY corrupt and destruction could be a tonic as some communities seek to rebuild along the lines of honesty and virtue.
I generally agree with most of PCR’s op-eds, but not in this case; the country was going to implode regardless, and the Conservatives are every bit as much to blame as anyone else one might care to point their fingers at, and away from themselves.
Strictly self-referencing/satisfied ideologues like Carlson only add insult to injury on the point of shared responsibility; Carlson is simply indignant that the ‘dirty, unwashed’, as a direct result of the political looting of govt. coffers and hyper-militarization of the police supported by BOTH sides, have no practical use for retrograde Conservative ‘values’ and is all too quick (as always) to blame the public (“mob”) as he ALWAYS DOES when the masses aren’t moving in the direction or manner he thinks they should.
That the police are in desperate need of reform (to simply constrain their mandate is all that’s required) is self-evident, but it’s likely too late as we’re too far into the increasingly reactive implosion for it to matter much, especially when one considers that before too much longer, we’ll have the broader problem of accelerated massive unemployment and people being tossed unceremoniously out of their businesses and residences for lack of payment and no meaningful prospects going forward.
The threatened and previously understood/accepted social ‘ground rules’ simply won’t be tolerated any longer, whether the Propaganda media and political class like it or not.
For my part, I saw this coming years ago, and given the general circumstances and worst practices of open and unapologetic Fascism as the ‘real politique’ of our shared civilian experience over the last 30-40 years, regardless of political party, I just hope the justifiably ape-shit masses get it over with as quickly as possible so we can then begin the process of rebuilding our society in such a way as to be a bit more fit for purpose.
Did anyone REALLY think that when the inevitable and in every way predictable civil unrest broke out HERE that it would be anything BUT the American general equivalent of China’s Cultural Revolution?!
If anything, it’s amazing that it’s taken as long as it has to play out, and it’s only just beginning.
I won’t miss any of it as none of it was particularly well conceived or to do with ‘we, the people’ to begin with; good riddance to empty values that never much served the general public, anyway.
Conservatives are just miffed because their ‘populist’ expectations have effectively back-fired directly into their culturally regressive faces.
“pull yourself up by the boot-straps” indeed.
If it makes anybody feel better, the ‘cultural Marxists’ won’t prevail either; reality itself is now (and maybe always was) strictly contingent and quite literally up-for-grabs for anyone and everyone who might care to engage it and make of it what they will.
I wouldn’t bet on the outcome one way or another, but it’ll be interesting to watch as our so-called ‘elites’ and public figures (who hate our stinking guts, by the way) rip each other to pieces vying for what little, if anything is left that’s even worth taking or fighting for.
You don’t have to like or believe it, but you’d do well to at least understand it and conduct yourself accordingly; get used to it and please to stop crying about ‘the injustice of it’ as NONE of us are really ‘all that’, anyway.
