A salvo launch of four Bulava ballistic missiles as part of the planned combat training activities of the Pacific Fleet was fired from a submerged position by the strategic missile submarine Vladimir Monomakh in the Sea of Okhotsk. The target for defeat was at the Chizha training ground in the Arkhangelsk region.
The flight of the Bulava ballistic missiles took place in the normal mode. According to the confirmed objective control data, the missile warheads have successfully arrived in the target area. While preparing and conducting salvo rocket fire, the crew of the nuclear-powered submarine “Vladimir Monomakh” showed high professionalism and naval skills. The strategic missile submarine Vladimir Monomakh is a 4th generation nuclear submarine.
The Vladimir Monomakh is one of the new Borei-class nuclear submarines that carry 16 Bulava missiles each and are intended to serve as the core of the naval component of the nation’s nuclear forces for decades to come. Another submarine of the same type performed a similar launch of four Bulava missiles in 2018 — a costly demonstration of the efficiency of the country’s nuclear deterrent mimicking the conditions of a major nuclear conflict.

It is the second time a Borei class SSBN executes a four missiles launch. The missiles launched are Bulavas.
Nothing for nothing, but someone should say something about the designer of those clownish uniforms. they look like ol’ ladies pyjamas…
Something graceful despite the consequences they symbolize.
Four in Mandarin represents Death. Though I don’t think the 4-missile salvo is connected per se to that notion.
Each missile can have 6-10 warheads.
The subs carry 16 missiles.
Range of the missiles is 8,000-10,000 miles.
