The presenter says US Generals are perturbed by what Putin spoke. I think they are thrilled.

A terrorist enemy empowers the deep state which manufactures it, mercenary firms like Blackwater and most of all the Zionist s***hole Israel. Resurgent Russia empowers the Pentagon, military industrial complex. nation state and therefore to a certain extent, the people within it.

In such a world transnational ZIonists are traitors by definition. It’s hardly panacea but better the devil you know.

American military manages to combine the worst of being a peacetime military with the worst of being in wartime.

In peacetime, any military becomes very political. Its politics inside the military that determines advancement and promotion. Does a junior officer manage to suck-up to the right rising star thus gaining his own promotion? Officers become fixated on avoiding all blame and any black marks on their record, while trying to claim credit for any successes. The result is that the best politicians in the officer corps get the promotions and rise to the top.

Normally, this gets corrected in wartime. Both WW1 and WW2 have a record of a lot of incompentent generals who hold command at the beginning. Then they are weeded out and the generals who actually have success on the battlefield rise as the new commanders.

But, the 20 years of constant war that the US military has engaged in has not had this effect. Instead, the bad effects of politics on a peacetime military have if anything been furhter emphasized. The number of active fighting commands is limited, and only go to the political favorites. Then, we see the cases like Gen. Betrayus who spin a lot of BS about their supposed successes and thus gain promotion to even higher levels.

Then end result is that the political generals like Betrayus and Mad Dog end up rising to the highest levels of the military. They are skilled in politics and self-promotion and general BS. But none actually have the battlefield success that in the past have taken political outsiders like Grant or Patton and given them the opportunities to rise to the top.

As your argument is excellent, I am going to go out on the limb and say: it works like that in all businesses. More so in large corporations and the government. This is why nobody rocks the boat, everyone does nothing and lower ranks kiss A$$es of their higher-ups.

      • T1 on March 17, 2018  ·  at 6:38 pm EST/EDT

Patreus was a rising star until he quipped that Israel was the source of problems in ME. After that, he was history.

      • earl on March 22, 2018  ·  at 7:34 am EST/EDT

Ecxept for Eisenhower. That POS was reviled by others in his chain of command as an incompetant buffoon. Yet there he went, even his atrocious wartime record of massive unnecessary allied deaths was not enough to stop him. He then crowned it all with the war crime of murdering 1.7 million German POWs in open air concentration camps. This was something premeditated as he changed their designation in order to circumvent the Geneva Convention.

He along with the rest of the allied high command and politicians should have been the ones to swing on the end of a rope. The media chiefs should have joined them for inciting Americans to join an unholy genocide.

What you are referring to is what is known as the Morgenthau Plan.
This was implemented by the allied forces from 1945 tot 1948.
Essentially the dismantling of the German industry, economy and agriculture,
          resulting in starvation and sickness.
It has been estimated that this program has caused more german deaths than the war itself.

Wonderful history of the nuclear arms race and nuclear deterrence.

The ending words by Putin and his enactment to emphasize them is priceless.

Russia confidence and security is now in their own hands, not subject to a treaty, nor subject to hegemony, threats or Exceptionalism.

The rabid wardogs of the West, led by the US Military and Neocon psychosis is but a pack of dangerous scum, but not a decisive strategic matter. Even rabid dogs understand white heat and fire will consume them.

    • T1 on March 17, 2018  ·  at 6:45 pm EST/EDT

Sorry Larch. they dont. That’s why they are rabid.

I feel more empathy for rabid dogs than the parasite that infects them.

Excellent presentation by Russian TV. Very accurate. You don’t see such analysis on media outlets like CNN. The last few seconds, showing Putin blowing US taxpayers money into thin air, was priceless. I think the Pentagon has got the message on the efficiency of the latest Russian high tech. However, has the US elite ?

  4. Shyaku on March 16, 2018  ·  at 11:49 pm EST/EDT

I feel that, for 16 years VVP waited patiently for the reward of being able to make the gesture he made in the last few seconds of that video, and frankly, even just for surviving so long let alone the unprecedented stability and development opportunity Russia has been endowed with, he deserves the pleasure.

  5. RCD on March 17, 2018  ·  at 12:08 am EST/EDT

Did anyone notice in this video that MeGYN Kelly has a blank moronic look on her face as Putin discusses issues of such gravity? She keeps a dumb vacuous pose, trying hard as heck to mask the ravages that time and her personal debauchery has wreaked on her face, while Putin’s serious comments fly right over head and her comprehension. I doubt she understands the difference between a ballistic missile and a non-ballistic hypersonic vehicle.

The only thing more sickening than Megyn Kelly is Farid Zacharia. I really wonder whether Putin invites these lightweights over to laugh at them or to school them.

Regarding the Russian message that we can demolish the effectiveness of any ABM for pennies on the dollar for you to build one: I don’t think it’s going to penetrate thru the Western Political class. The corruption and incompetence has become so deep, stemming from the interests of the crony capitalist US military equipment contractors and their stable of owned Senators/Congressmen, that the US will keep blowing cash hand over fist because their bribery infested profit extracting system allows for no other possibility. It’s more than an even possibility that they’re just going to double-down and proceed with building their white-elephants because of all the Pork it brings and all the slobs than need to slobber it up.

The only thing Russia’s new military-technological lead will do is frustrate the hell out of the psychotic members of the Anglosphere elite because they can’t have their way anymore internationally. I really doubt that a crowd as incompetent you see ruling the US/UK/5-eyes will come to the negotiating table. They are too emotionally retarded to eat humble pie, accept that they were wrong and that they have failed – that requires maturity and self-confidence that coddled narcissistic entitled self-promoting supremacists (aka exceptionalists) lack.

The “Five Eyes” could always send Canadian Prime Minister “Turdeau” to visit Putin. Turdeau could take his whole family, like he did when he went to India recently. He could dress up like a Russian Cossack and take selfies of himself doing Cossack dancing in front of the Kremlin. He could even bring his own “Russian” chef along to prepare him authentic Russian meals. Putin could send a functionary from the bovine fertilizer ministry to greet Turdeau. Canadians are hoping whoever doesn’t win the Russian election will run in the Canadian election.

      • Earl on March 22, 2018  ·  at 7:40 am EST/EDT

Clive Edwards, Rather than dressing up as a Cossack, maybe Trudeau should dress up as a Russian Jew returned from the Upper East Side and re-enact the Bolshevik Coup.

His family can be the gunmen that slaughtered the Czar and his family.

    • Anonius on March 17, 2018  ·  at 1:33 pm EST/EDT

Excellent take on the situation. You can’t but laugh at the idiot with four stars who says “they do not know where our subs are”. Is he sure about it? Does he know where their subs are? Besides, even so, shortly after the missiles start leaving the subs, the subs will be toasted. The point is to never get to that point.

Thanks for sharing this video. The history of the arms race was very informative.

  7. +Mikie on March 20, 2018  ·  at 12:30 am EST/EDT

    Here’s another comparison:

Compare this guy with ANY mainstream US tv network: there is absolutely nothing ideological, propagandist or threatening in what he is saying. The entire program is actual historical FACTS, explained in a calm, plain language, as it is.

  8. pogohere on March 21, 2018  ·  at 6:04 pm EST/EDT

The title of this article should have been something like: “Russia Shifts the Nuclear Threat Such That Peace Is The Only Viable Option” instead of “What’s The Main Difference Between Russian and American Generals? – Top Russia’s Anchor Explains.”

I expected to hear a discussion that involved generals. I love what I heard, and the history reviewed and summarized is superb and genuinely necessary for us to understand, but the generals had only a walk-on role.

Thanks. I will be sharing this article with many people.
