Following the attack on the Crimea bridge, the entire Ukronazi Internet plus assorted supporters exploded in a supernova of joy and Schadenfreude: the much hated “Putin bridge” was finally down! Hurray!!!
It was also funny to see that once the Ukronazis realized how stupid (and dangerous!) their proud claims that they were the ones who blew up the truck on the bridge, they decided to blame Putin. So, as per our Ukronazi pals, Putin blew up the “Putin bridge” for some as of yet unnamed purpose, but most definitely an evil one.
Even more hilarious were the hardcore Banderistas à la Aristovich who were celebrating each Russian strike because “now the Russians have one less missile to use”. Clearly, a war-winning mindset :-)
In fact, the Russians are so evil that the Europeans have decided to exclude Russia from the investigation about what really happened with NS1 and NS2. Which makes sense: the EU cannot let Putin know that he blew up his own pipelines. right? And the fact that Russia is one of the main proprietors of NS1/NS2 does not matter one bit: as always (MH17, Skripal, Navalnyi, etc.) the Russian Snow Niggers need to be treated with the utmost contempt by the European Master Race. That will convince the Russians to take the Eurolemmings seriously.
“Eurologic” at its best…
But, seriously, away from the la-la land of various Nazi supporters and Russian 6th columnists, most of the traffic on the Crimean bridge was restored in less than 24 hours. Then came the Russian response: in a quick series of strikes, Russia switched off the electricity over the entire Ukraine, Lvov (the real capital of Banderastan) included.
Compare the two actions and tell me who is winning and who is losing this war :-)
Of course, the usual gang of “alternatively gifted” Putin critics will scream that this is all too little too late. As for the Ukronazis, they are already chanting their favorite mantra about “Russia is running out of missiles! Russia is running out of missiles!“. A brilliant war-winning strategy for sure!
Those still capable of critical/rational thought will realize that the sheer magnitude and devastating consequences of the Russian strikes is just a signal that Putin is doing what he has been doing since February:
- Acting unilaterally without any efforts to negotiate (but without rejecting any negotiations should somebody in the West come to his/her senses).
- Slowly and gradually increase the pain dial not only for the rump Ukraine but also for the entire EU
One more thing: assuming that Russia fired somewhere in the range of 200 missiles (out of stocks having many thousands more) against power stations, communications nodes, railway infrastructure, command posts, field headquarters, transformers, etc. and that this was more than enough to “pull the plug” on a huge country like the Ukraine tells you all you need to know about both the Russian capabilities and the lack of capabilities of Ukronazi air defenses (including old Soviet-era S-300 slamming into the ground the same way US Patriot missiles did during the Gulf War).
By the way – where was the “winning” Ukrainian Air Force? I am sure that they shot down no less than several hundred missiles and aircraft, right?
Lastly, the Russian strikes have continued for a second day, but the SBU has now banned filming any outcomes from Russian strikes, so there is a lot less footage today. Still, a lot at the latest map of strikes, it is clear that the entire country was hit hard for a second time.
So will those poor souls who accuse Putin of “indecision” or “weakness” ever learn their lesson and understand WHY and HOW Putin is dialing up the pain dial?
No, of course not.
They are now so personally involved in trashing Putin at all costs that they simply cannot look at reality without losing face. So they too will double down on their own certitudes even if that means deliberately and systematically ignoring the facts on the ground. As I have said many times, these folks would rather see Russia and Putin lose than Russia and Putin win. You could say that they hate Putin more than they love Russia.
Some of these putatively “pro-Russian” folks are sincere, especially in the West, but utterly incompetent and mislead by Russian 6th columnists: what Lenin would have called useful idiots.
Others are clearly plants of the western letter soup. And, of course, the former have no idea that they are working hand in hand with the latter.
So what comes next? More of the same, of course: unilateral initiatives on the international scene combined with a further, but gradual, increase of the pain dial.
Which leaves one more actor I want to comment upon: the brainwashed people of the Ukraine who think that celebrating terrorist attacks and constantly threatening and even attacking Russia will bring them a happy future in an ethnically pure Nazi homeland of milk and honey.
I am very sad and sorry to have to say that, but the brains of these people also need to be demilitarized and denazified. By acting this way they make themselves into legitimate targets.
In many ways, these strikes also serve an educational purpose: to convince the Ukrainian people that the war is not something which will only happen in the faraway Donbass.
This is what this winter will be all about: bringing the reality of war to the rump-Banderastan and to the EU.
Andrei
I agree 100%, sad but true
Ukrainian officials said today that if Russia continues bombing for another 5-6 days, Ukraine will not be able to repair the energy facilities ever.
The fact that Western MSM is saying that Russia killed many civilians in Zaporozhye City means that Russia is achieving great success there. Reportedly, they have killed many foreign mercenaries who were hiding in an apartment building (mostly Poles).
Bakhmut may soon be liberated.
There are reports that there have been explosions in Kramatorsk and Slavyansk.
I heard both 12 KIA or 20 KIA. Not sure if civilians or not, but either way, for such a powerful attack these are amazingly low numbers. Somebody in the RGS deserves a medal for this operation imho
I just want to clarify my above statement: I’m saying that Western MSM is lying when they say that Russia killed many civilians in Zaporozhye.
The Poles must be one of the most intelligent “races” in the EU, after all, 3 million of them came to the UK to work in low paid jobs and live in sub-standard housing, of which Britain has an abundant supply, having achieved the status of a failed state.
Don’t forget it was the Poles that provoked the beginning of WW2, having allowed themselves, in their intelligance and aided and abetted by Britain, to provoke Hitler into invading in order to put an end to the sort of genocide of ethnic Germans that Mr P is now performing in “Ukraine”. Stalin’s forces then invaded Poland to set up a buffer zone in preparation for the planned destruction of Russia. By-the-way, much of the stuff written about Stalin is absolute crap. He was an avid reader and had a very dry sence of humour if you read his comments.
i haven’t read “much” of the stuff about Stalin, but he presided over wrecking of all soviet nations.
i have no sympathy for communism. where jacobins fails bolsheviks succeeded. they were the same as present day leftists in the west. in fact they are the same exact people. the family-destroyers, human-haters.
Stalin expelled the Eskimos, transforming the U.S.S.R. from a playground for the vengeful, into a Russian great power.
Whenever they talk about “idealists” axed by Stalin, they mean Eskimos.
Particularly stupid people can only learn from first hand experience. They cannot be taught or consider the point of view of the other party. It’s a shame that these idiots have been held hostage by evil, money grubbing bastards. Those in the Ukraine that think they are winning are in for a freezing winter and a trip to either Russia or the EU as their rump country becomes uninhabitable. The rump Ukraine will be neutral and desolate if they cannot figure out who has their best interests at heart.
Particularly stupid people are unable to learn from experience.
Correct. Look at all the stupid sheep taking experimental injections, suffering serious near fatal events and going back for more!
An old saying that a ‘fool learns from their own mistakes and a wise man from others’. Seems to fit the picture.
” The rump Ukraine will be neutral and desolate if they cannot figure out who has their best interests at heart.”
It has long seemed that the only country that really gave a s— about Ukraine and the Ukes was Russia.
The Ukes seem like a Slavic version of Far from the Madding Crowd. A nation of Bathsheba Everdenes who reject the loyal, decent suitor in favor of a flashy ne’er-do’well who will end up destroying her. Then maybe the good guy, Gabriel Oak, is still around to pick her up off the ground set her back on her feet, or her horse.
That horse has sailed away. The only purpose of that rogue state, is to bleed Russia.
Little did they know, Russians can bleed for thousand of years, and still come on top.
Will they ever learn, indeed?
What is encouraging is, that Russians slowly but steadily are coming out of century long coma.
No more ideologies, no more bend overs, no more foreign agents running the state. Firepower talks, finally.
VV can leave today, there’s a mile long of quality people to take over. Simply awaken nation.
VV can leave today, there’s a mile long of quality people to take over. Simply awaken nation.
Unfortunately incorrect. Just look at Gilbert Doctorow’s latest articel on Partial Mobilisation and Democracy. It appears that most people still have no more than 10% understanding of the SMO and completely fail to understand Russia’s brilliant startegy. They still think Ukraine ‘won’ territory and Russia ‘lost’ it, that the recent events (Ukrainian ‘offensives’ etc) were disasters for Russia, that the war up until now was badly mismanaged, that they should have started off with ‘shock and awe’, and that the war is all about Ukraine. The Russian people are still massively influenced by the western narrative even now. If we lost Putin and Lavrov now, we would have a disaster. (Of course there are bound to be many many people including potential leaders in Russia who really do understand, but would they be accepted by the masses if Putin stepped down today? – very unlikely.
– They still think Ukraine ‘won’ territory and Russia ‘lost’ it, that the recent events (Ukrainian ‘offensives’ etc) were disasters for Russia, that the war up until now was badly mismanaged,
That is not from Gilbert Doctorow
Correct to the extent that the likes of yeltsin and gorbachev POS will never appear in Kremlin, ever again.
That’s what hurts the cabal the most.
If there is a lesson from the past, that’s the top one. When VV took over, he inherited a wreckage of a country, infested with foreign agents.
Mikheev is right, or I agree.
However, the dynamics of the region and the stakes are so complicated, it is impossible to get the right approach, but it seems to me the initial plan was so wrong. As I said before, time works for all sides.
NATO is creeping in by day. They will enter conflict, it is inevitable now.
Massive Russian mistake to allow that.
See what happened in Syria, now that NATO established a foothold on the ground any attack on them will turn into WW. Same will happen in former ukraine.
Russians just can’t/or don’t want to solve the ever present anglosaxon puzzle.
It’s actually pathetic, that such large and rich country was/is bossed by western parasites.
These days I am reminded of one of Buddha’s parables, the one of the four horses.
The first horse senses his rider’s intention and leaps.
The second horse feels the rider’s spurs and runs.
The third horse feels the rider’s whip and walks.
The fourth horse has to be beaten to death and never moves.
Too many in the West are four-level horses.
How stupid are those people in the picture with the stamp of the Crimea bridge on fire? I wonder if they still think an inept attempt at terrorism was worth the return Russia is giving them right now. I hope these foolish people have plenty of batteries for their flashlights and lots of blankets to keep them warm.
The restraint Russia has shown over these past few months has been mistaken for weakness. This is just a little wake up call. Russia controls the escalation ladder. Russia also has the ability to dial up the pain past 11 (my apologies to Spinal Tap). Ukraine’s amp only goes to 5 or 6.
The conclusion of this conflict only has a few possible outcomes and none of them involve Ukraine winning a war against Russia. The best possible outcome for Ukraine is a negotiated solution anyone who says otherwise is delusional or profoundly stupid. I hope Russia hasn’t closed the door on a negotiated agreement as the other possible outcomes are nasty and destructive.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4xgx4k83zzc
Considering who we are dealing with and their past behaviour, can a negotiated settlement be reached?
Nasty and destructive will be the only way to settle matters me thinks. These people are beyond redemption.
” away from the la-la land of various Nazi supporters and Russian 6th columnists, most of the traffic on the Crimean bridge was restored in less than 24 hours”
This is exactly why one should hesitate. Is the enemy supposed to be this stupid and incapable, not knowing how to target a large bridge (at the load bearing parts, not the surface deck)? That’s hard to imagine. If the enemy is that incapable, why is the war still going on? Who where these planners? Children of 5 years old?
Simple. The SBU is very good at terrorist attacks, but the Crimean bridge is built too strongly for them to destroy with anything short of a tactical nuke (or maybe a barrage of big FAE).
I posted my theory of how the operation was planned, ut according to that theory the plan was far too fragile and too many things went wrong, resulting in only limited destruction. If everything had gone right according to plan, I think the main span would probably have been totally destroyed. Briefly, apart from stopping the train in the wrong position, the plan – according to my hypothesis – was for three leveraged explosions: first the conventional explosives blasted the film into the air forming an explosive air-combustible mixture; secondly that air-combustible mixture exploded and was supposed (and this was the only part of the hypothesis with no evidence) to blast the tanker fuel into the air to form a third and far bigger air-fuel explosion like a gigantic thermobaric bomb. The truck was too far away and the car absorbed some of its energy.
Typical MI6 plan.
Who appear now to have head hunted Baldrick away from Blackadder, for his plethora of “cunning plans”.
Simple… it was a terrorist act. An act of desperation for propaganda.
Not an Act of War by a strong Nation State. Such act would have destroyed the bridge, without incurring a kamikaze loss of life ( the unlucky driver of the truck was killed – likely unbeknownst to him ).
The fools should have known that punching the bear on the nose is never a good idea. But reality is not strong on these people.
In modern warfare, it seems to me, you are always shaping the battlefield but never altering your goals and purposes. But in modern warfare to be effective, it has to be fought simultaneously on three levels: economically, militarilly and spiritually ( or philosophically). It’s the difference between fighting a progressive war (humanistic) and total war (corporate).
Although it may seem that Russia has been fighting a ‘slow war’, its intent, I believe, has been to use the economic, philosophical, and military functions as a strategic, long-view handling of the Ukraine/NATO/West threat to its survival.
One aspect which stands out now, is how it is using the change of weather in its favor, as a way to augment its effectiveness in the battlefield. As winter comes to Ukraine, Russia’s firepower will be more effective and less wasteful because the targets will not have any cover, environmentally speaking. In other words, the enemy will always be exposed in the clearing. This is when the Air Force will be most effective, while using less soldiers on the ground. Artillery will also be able to move more swiftly and cover more ground, while being protected by the Air Force. In the meantime, Europe and the West will continue to deteriorate economically, while causing population uprisings and even change of governments.
Pack your bags, Mr. Zelensky. No more Christmas in Kiev for you!
While some people fret over the ‘weakness’ of Russia when it comes to the so-called PR War, it now seems clear, that while the West fights a short-term, corporate, propaganda war; Russia, on the other hand, is fighting a long-view, spiritual. philosophical war: it is laying the groundwork for the future in the way it is conducting itself now. In other words, there is an integrity of purpose and means. PR is short-term, very apt for a corporate West. Spirituality and philosophy is long-term: very apt for a humanistic Russia.
Yes, and the current ‘shock and awe’ was clearly anticipated by the earlier stage in the war and an integral part of it – it is a highly planned step-by-step development, in which not only is the war developing in Ukraine, it is developing on every relavant stage in parallel, including in Russia the mental and social preparedness for what has to come next. The current change in operating mode is not something that can be detached from what went before – everything was leading up to this with a certain ‘inevitability’ (but always subject to the response of the other side, so that if the other sides had reacted differently they could have got a less painful result).
I meant “humanist” not humanistic,
While everyone to focused on the predictable escalation in Ukraine, let’s look at the big picture. US planners are not children throwing a tantrum. They are not stupid. They are not panicked. It’s a plan. The object is to block Europe’s swing to the East. Given the trajectory of the last decade, a further swing to the East—Russia’s energy and China’s market—was inevitable. Better to act now than later. Given US actions nothing has happened that is terribly surprising or unpredictable. The plan has unfolded pretty much as might be expected, both on the battlefield and economically. Now one would think that the victims of this plan—that is ordinary people in the West—will rebel and replace their political leadership. They will. And that’s certainly in the plan too. The Left has been thoroughly co-opted, fractured and demoralized. There is no Left. So the result will be the rise of the Right–fascism across Europe and likely America. Perfect. Fascism is Corporate Capitalism wedded to the State. The big boys in America—the banks and major corporations–will remain in charge. There is only one wild card–the Global South. They are the other victims. They will be crushed with food, energy and debt priced in dollars. Which way they jump is determined by whether or not they have an alternative. This hinges on whether Russia/China can institute an alternative international financial and banking structure fast enough to give the South the loans and capital they need to survive–that is, if they can provide the loans the South needs to abandon the dollar, the World Bank and the IMF. It is not simply a technical problem of an alternative to SWIFT or a new settlement currency. It is also providing the credit necessary to buy necessities. If Russia/China can provide the system and the loans to access essential food and energy, then the South will likely swing to the Russia/China bloc. If not, we’ll see the apotheosis of Disaster Capitalism. And that’s in the plan too.
One comment though.
Fascism is a Leftist movemement.
You are describing what I think of as Fascism v2.0. Where the global corporations, banks and oligarch use totalitarian Leftist politicians to control the population.
It’s a flip over the old Fascism v1.0, where nationalistic socialists controlled the corporations.
As usual, follow the money.
What in the world could lead you to make such an absurd assertion as “Fascism is a Leftist movement”??
Neither Biden nor any of his overtly NeoCoNazi minions are remotely “Leftist”. Neither are the so-called neo-liberals, who are seemingly cut from the same “National Socialist” cloth. (And “National Socialism” had little in common with any legitimate Socialism.)
Are they “Fascist”? Yes. “Totalitarian”? Certainly getting there. “Imperialists”? Long established! But “Leftist”?? I don’t think so. Being nominal “Democrats” hardly grants them any such distinction.
US has become a totalitarian state with surveillance and GESTAPO
“Full Biden: I Would Be ‘Most Progressive’ President In History | Meet The Press”
– (And “National Socialism” had little in common with any legitimate Socialism.)
Totalitarianism = a state controlled society (A “teutonic state” using Zig)
The typical totalitarian candidates are USSR and China
Nonsense. China is called the People’s Republic of China, PRC, for a reason. Although the Party, the CPC is in the lead, just as Lenin called the Communist Party the Vanguard of the People. Totalitarianism is a system belonging solely to capitalism and perhaps to past regimes, not to countries ruled by the people.
Totalitarianism straight from the mouth of the horse
Mao Zedong
“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party.”
Democracy is all citizens have a vote, that is not something The communist party can commands.
I have known many communists, and being called “agent for USSR” (they retorting to lies as arguments)
“Social Credit Score” is latest innovation from the totalitarians. We will find them in all European countries.
“Control oil and you control nations; control food and you control the people.”
— Henry Kissinger (marxist-leninist)
Nice scenario, I tend to agree when I look at what is happening here in Europe.
Still, for this plan to work, it will not be such an easy road.
You must understand that in western Europe, we already are under totalitarian rule, namely EU rule. It is less the case in Eastern Europe, as those countries joined later the Union and haven’t been as much infested yet.
The challenge for the banksters will be to keep political control while we go through an economical collapse due to high inflation + debt + lack of energy. The famous Reset of the monetary and banking (and property) system will then be expected.
Here in France, the many people do not trust anymore media+politicians, and it gets worse by the day as more and more people realize they have been lied to about the Covid “vaccines” and as the economy goes in free fall. What can be expected is that the banksters will trigger the economical collapse while we are at war, so that they can impose a kind of martial law in most of the western european countries.
The tricky part will be to make sure that the EU doesn’t implode during this economic reset, as various countries in Eastern Europe (Hungaria, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Romania etc..) might secede and prefer under popular pression join the winner’s side (namely the Russian side) in order to get cheap energy. If the EU implodes, then the Euro will, and all political bets would then be off.
The economic war is far more significant than the Ukraine SMO. Russia recently reversed course and acknowledged that they MUST USE CRYPTOCURRENCY to avoid sanctions. That’s the big game-changer.
In prior decades, countries had to have a supply of dollars on hand to buy oil and other commodities. Now countries are going to want/need crypto to buy discounted Russian oil, wheat, gold, etc. Look for the dollar to collapse right around the time Russia starts selling commodities for crypto. there’s gonna be a trillion dollars worth of treasuries for sale and hyperinflation. If the Pharisees- I mean zionists – decide to flip the board, that’s when “Ukraine” will target the nuclear plant in earnest. Hope I’m wrong.
Russia’s real war is with the secret societies running mammon’s empire. This is manifesting as a war against the Federal Reserve. The rebellion against empire is a rebellion against the stranglehold of the international banking cartel
– So the result will be the rise of the Right–fascism across Europe and likely America.
You are repeating BBC (“Giorgia Meloni: Italy’s far-right wins election and vows to govern for all”)
The attacks on family is coming from progressive Biden.
If you have heard of some Big Tech / Big Pharma that is not leftist / Biden / Soros tell us. I can only think of Elon Musk.
Biden secretly signed new nazi laws with zero Congressional debate.
You are in denial, Rodrigo. To watch the collective west’s actions and say they are not in extreme panic is pure fantasy.
The west (even the puppet masters) is clearly not in command of their own actions.
“So the result will be the rise of the Right–fascism across Europe and likely America. Perfect. Fascism is Corporate Capitalism wedded to the State. The big boys in America—the banks and major corporations–will remain in charge.”
This is by design. These Right Wingers are waiting in the wings, ready to be deployed to implement even more authoritarian and fascistic politics at the behest of the Capitalist class who bankrolls and directs them.
In contrast to Progressives, however, these Right Wingers will implement these policies–only justify it with propaganda about “defending the family, conservative values, law and order” and other lies.
Giorgia Meloni in Italy is a perfect example. She is newest political darling of all these Conservative conmen, as these Right Wingers are promoting her as an “alternative” or even “anti-Establishment” leader.
But Meloni supports NATO, supports Ukraine, and supports Israel.
The Right Wing “populists” like Meloni in Italy, or most of all Donald Trump and MAGA cult in America are a classic fake political opposition–the only type of opposition that is allowed in these fake European and American democracies.

The new law in US signed by Biden (E.O.) is a nazi law about increased surveillance of citizens.
That is how Leninists behaves: media become a weapon, tax collection become a weapon, child care become a weapon, gender pronouns become a weapon, medicine become a weapon. No Christian values here, just Leninism and Sun Tzu. It is so bad in current US doctors who cure patients are stripped of their licence.
How many Americans are willing to defend mafia scumbags?
@xvfsb It is too early to determine what her program is, and there are almost another 2 weeks before she can become the “de facto” prime Minister of Italy. Her alignment with EU/US/Israel was useful to come to power, any thing different could have costed her the position. But Italians happen “to have a mind of their own”, and nor EU, nor US were pleased by her election. Ursula from EU threatened the Italians during the election campaign, US did not express much enthusiasm, but said that the two nations can work together “in climate change”, while Canada has not yet sent its congratulations for the election. She likes Orban, and already Switzerland and Austria are joining ranks with her in asking EU “for compensations” for the high energy prices…..
“…..not a step back” Russia. Let this one be our generation´s “Putingrad”. As long as the ” Chosen” Masters of the City of London & the Zionist-guided Neo-Con Wall Street brotherhood are live & “printing”, the war against Mother Russia will continue. It is their only option to keep the exchange value for their immense counterfeit fiat reserves, their “western way of life”, aka, plundering, stealing, and destroying a large part of our world.
The result of sanctions, NATO expansion, and war in Ukraine will be a Russian divorce from Europe and the West. Probably, the Global South and China will join Mother Russia in this leap to become free from burgeoning fascism. The irony is that without the Global South to do their work for them, Westerners will have to start working for themselves again.
Saker,
The reaction of the average Ukrainian(if indeed what we are shown in the media about Ukrainian reaction)about to the Kerch bridge bombing reveals how utterly manipulated that populace is a honestly how far collapse the Ukrainian people are in terms of any decency as a society and culture. There were innocent people who died on the bridge and honestly to celebrate in such a public manner the death of innocent people in what is purely a terrorist act is honestly the lowest of the low for a society/culture at large. I’m not sure who Russia keeps insisting that they want to negotiate with in Ukraine, it’s clear that a large portion of the Ukrainian leadership as well as not insignificant portions of the Ukrainian population with the exception of the East want Russian destruction.
To the larger point, if indeed one of Putin’s primary strategies is to increase the pain dial for the West via Ukraine, then he is making the same primary bet that the West is making with respect to him. To increase the pain on Russia so much that eventually Putin is ousted in a coup. It is looking increasingly likely that the home populations(Russia/West) will then make the decision as to who will outlast who. If this is in fact Putin’s strategy and he does not want to solve the Ukraine conflict militarily but via home population/pressure in the western countries via Russia induced pressure then he must believe that these Western countries are still democratic and will respond to the their home populations or risk a coup(US/Britain/West).
I honestly hope that is not his primary strategy because if both sides are running the same primary bet via pressure/pain on each others populations. I believe the United States/West is willing to get much more repressive with their own home populations if needed but I don’t believe they will because the US has full spectrum dominance within the media/social media/finance control within their home populations that Russia could only dream of with respect to the Russian population.
In such a scenario the Russian public would crack first in my opinion, the Russians simply do not have full spectrum dominance in terms of finance/media/everyday lives as the United States. The main Russian advantage here is militarily and the fact that they have started the use of the force, and the West is extremely leery of sending uniformed soldiers to die as they fear that could possibly spark coups/uprisings in the Western countries.
It is my belief that Putin and others who believe in this “increase the pain” strategy are vastly underestimating the pain Western governments are willing to put their people through and it also places a great deal of faith on Western countries actually following their legal frameworks which they have shown they will throw out if needed in this Ukraine conflict. Also if this conflict is not going to be solved primarily militarily why even go to war at all, why couldn’t Russia have just cut off the gas/oil/fertilizers/etc and played the economic warfare card.
A very risky strategy, that perhaps vastly underestimates the pain the US/West is willing to put its citizens through to maintain hegemony if needed. I’m not sure who Putin thinks will negotiate with him in the United States, so far the US has felt almost zero impact that could be reliably attributed to this war by the average US citizen and get them out on the streets protesting against their government, the US government has full spectrum dominance of the US population, flawed strategy to rely on the average US citizen to get out on the streets and get their government out.
DC has been WAITING for a pain event at home to solidify its control and eliminate opposition. Obama started to stoke it by throwing gasoline onto the race issue, then the elites used lock-down to make it worse, and now “Biden” will use Ukraine and manufactured inflation to make it even worse. The elites WANT this war, they WANT WWIII.
Putin, one would hope, knows this.
The central banks are in a position of being able to drop the west into depression , the west US/EU just happen to be China’s biggest customers , what happens to China then ? what happens to Russia when oil is at $10, a barrel ? the theory that by crashing the worlds ecconomy will result in CBDC’S the only answer to save the world ecconomy while enslaving humanity at same time ……
@UnchartedWaters
The Federal Reserve already recently created $2 trillion of debt free money for its own account to buy US Treasury Bills from China. China’s ownership of US Treasury Bills is now down to $1 trillion from its high of $2.3 trillion. This flood of new money is causing a reduction in US dollar buying power thus increasing prices to US consumers. There is no mechanism in place to remove this extra money from circulation.
In the past private banks like Citicorp, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, et cetera created the US money supply as debt, such that no debts = no money. Inflation was controlled to a large extent by requiring the banks to delete the principal of loans back out of existence as it was repaid. The only problem then was that bad debts could not be recovered by the banks, and the money would remain in circulation causing inflation. The remedy is quite simple really, and that is to have the IRS delete a fraction of money back out of existence every year as necessary, but so far this has never been done. The Fed’s usual reaction is to increase interest rates causing even more bad debts, and a contracting economy i.e recession. This enables financial vultures to swoop in and buy assets such as real estate and company shares at cents on the dollar.
Trans-Pacific shipping rates plunge 75% As US Retail Demand Falters”: from Zerohedge today
but LNG Tanker rates are through the Roof now Go EU
The US is somewhat different though.
it is still a working “federation” of states… so if the Federal Gov. pushes too hard, you run into the very real risk of Civil War 2.0.
Besides, we are the best armed populace in the world.
You vastly overestimate how much the European peoples (not leadership) care about Ukraine. When oush comes to shove, Euro-nations in NATO don’t care enough to launch a tactical nuclear war nor a land war against Russia to ‘save’ Ukraine.
With WWII & its devastation in property & lives (55million – 70million people killed) still within living memory, do you really think Europeans would chose that for themselves again???
– I honestly hope that is not his primary strategy because if both sides are running the same primary bet via pressure/pain on each others populations.
There has been no bombing of electricity and communication systems in Ukraina by Russia before Kersch attack.
Andrei My Brother,
What gets me is that there is such a deep prejudice if not blind hatred of Russia and Russians not only in Ukraine but in Poland, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia too that these people truly cannot see that it’s in their best interest to be on peaceful terms with the Russians and work together with them. Instead of peace and partnership they are so hostile to Russia and Russians that they are willing to bring destruction to their own nations and people’s. It’s kind of like the novel Moby Dick about the Captain who is so obsessed with getting vengeance on the whale that he brings death and destruction to his own ship and crew and eventually himself. This self destructive hatred of Russia is amazing to witness.
I expect as soon as the first cold snap arrives, huge numbers of ukrainians will migrate westwards, mostly to the very congested promised land, Germany. They will be left without electricity and heating after Russia has promptly knocked down most of their energy systems. Those who still remain in the Ukraine are the hard core idiots (neonazis) turn into prime targets for the Russian troops.
I wish the German people lots of fun with their “hero freedom fighters”!
And the Ukronazi migrants a lot of fun in their chosen new home with rolling blackouts in Germany, skyrocketing unemployment, skyrocketting anti-Ukraine sentiment and exploding protests from the angry German masses as they get cold and hungry.
Some time before the beginning of the SMO, I read that 23% of Ukrainians were pensioners. This wattributed to the emigration of many of working age. What’s it going to be like after the exodus this winter?
What makes them so sure that there will be electricity and heating in Germany?
We could be waiting for the first ‘thinker’ who poses that Putin, in his devilish clearvoyant mind, foresaw the migrations of Uki’s to Germany and as a precaution bombed the NS lines. The German ‘vending machines’ in the government, and the EU apparatschiks are looking in amazement at such strategic thought.
[/s]
I wonder how far the Russian forces will go in tearing down infrastructure. After all, in all the ‘maps’ showing how much area of Ukraine they are going to ‘take’, the RF has to repair their damage in the taken areas as well to make life somewhat agreeable, isn’t it?
Cheers and stay safe, Rob
I don’t believe the brainwashed people should be targeted (as in Mr. Khinzal), but they certainly should feel the pain for their extremely selfish choices. Yet, their actions should not come as a surprise because that is exactly the type of individual the West (Deep State) has worked very hard to nurture and create (petri dish) for the past seventy years. Dumb enough to believe anything and lazy enough to never look for answer or the truth that is right in front of them. There is a reason and purpose as to why American public schools and universities are a joke. These clowns must be manufactured in great numbers in order for the Deep State to accelerate its control, domination and organized plunder of the West. Whether talking Russiagate, Wokeism, 9/11, these people are always available to support an position. But what makes the methodology truly amazing and effective is that these clown never pay for their actions. They can support the carnage and destruction of war but never get close enough to undertake the actions themselves. They can call for sanctions but are never impacted by the economic consequence of their support
Until now.
Braveman, As an American I will agree with you in regard to most of your points. It is sad that until Americans actually feel the pain, most will not even know that anything at all is going on in Ukraine, or where Ukraine even is on a map. Even fewer will know of their government’s involvement in the state of affairs and even fewer of them will care! The average American is oblivious. It is very sad and only getting worse. That is why we are a Satanic country now. “Do as thy wilt” has infected every institution of consequence. Very scary times.
The politicians and media have done such a fantastic job dividing the citizens of the country against each other with increasingly scorched-earth politics, brutal censorship, overwhelming propaganda, and financial stress (not to mention dumbed-down education) that most can’t see straight let alone think straight.
Ukraine was the very last thing on any ‘Merican’s mind until the politicos started posturing about nuclear war. But no worries, Trump will be back in the headlines soon, along with more pictures of Kim Kardashian’s ass.
Hey Saker, When you caption “NOT A FAKE, 100% real”, do you mean it is a real scene? I find it hard to believe.
Use google image search. It will tell you where this photo (staged of course!) was made and why.
As an American who has sat watching this for 8 years now; I feel compelled to post something as rye groups that have seized power here in the US are the most unhinged in American history. I pray that Mr. Putin quickly and decisively moves to finish this. While admirable, his slow progress in concern for civilian lives and infrastructure is only seen as weakness here in the West. With the mid terms less than a month away, the danger of a false flag only grows. There are active duty American troops on the ground now in Ukraine. Not mercenaries. Regulars. Putin needs to move quickly to avoid a swift and brutal attack by the combined West. They fear losing power more than they fear Putin here.
A dozen well placed missiles would have sufficed to retaliate for the damaged bridge.
Two days of aerial bombardment and heightened activity at the front suggest that something more is in the offing.
I could be totally mistaken, but I think that Russia is about to launch the biggest Russian military offensive since 1945.
The “pain dial” is real, but the victim/target of this is not the US. It’s Europe. I think it was the Danish Interior Minister who recently noted that Danish households are now receiving energy bills that the households simply have no way of paying.
The powers that be in the US may come out of this in an even stronger position than when they went in. The same cannot be said for Europe. Nor, I think and hope, are Europeans dumbed down to the extent that Americans are. If, again as I think and hope, the Europeans are still capable of rational thought, when the coming winter hits, they will come to the conclusion that their plight has been manufactured by the US, not Russia.
Support for Ukraine was easy during the summer. It had a virtue-signaling element of the touchy-feely to it. But reality has a way of popping up at sometimes inconvenient moments. This coming winter may easily prove to be one such moment. Then the street protests will begin in earnest. It could be that the entire European Union experiment is reaching its use-by date.
– The powers that be in the US may come out of this in an even stronger position than when they went in.
This is not supported by economic data. The simple answer to what US stock are good investment objects is NOTHING.
Two words: “Air superiority”
I keep harping on Z folding and suing for peace by Thanksgiving. A number of factors point toward that time frame.
G-20 is coming. The association declined to expel or disinvite Russia. The November summit is Putin’s moment in the sun. Now consider what the “Western” contingent of the G-20 is going to say after 3 or 7 or 14 or 30 days of continuous or even sporadic bombardment. I recommend you stock up on popcorn.
Just for fun, if I were a Russian strategist, I would ram two columns through the middle of Ukraine from the north and south. The classic line from A Bronx Tale is “Now youse guys can’t leave”.
I’m sure you’ll post Maria’s briefing soon, but I want to provide this one Q&A:
“Question: The SBU has put you on the wanted list. Could you share your impressions?
“Answer: I can tell you where I am. In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, in the hall of the Press Center. I didn’t hide it. There was an announcement.
“Q: Are you not afraid that this will affect your movements around the world? In general, for life?
“Maria Zakharova: Are you not afraid that in the center of the European continent there is a regime that professes extremism and terrorism as a state ideology? Do you think they’ll stop someday? People who do not deny, but implement and “glorify” such a method of doing business, never refuse it. They themselves have shrugged off all the ways to conduct negotiations, a political, diplomatic, international legal method of resolving the situation. We signed some papers, came up with some decrees. We chose only this method.
“Aren’t you afraid? It is the center of Europe. Everyone believes that this is far away, it will not affect anyone. Better study history. Look at what happened to other areas of American “experiments.” They first created monsters, and then they got out of Washington’s control. Remind? Al-Qaeda, W. bin Laden, ISIS, which appeared on the ruins of the Iraqi state. Nothing new. The world went through it all. At first, everyone believed that they would not be affected, but only those whom extremists and terrorists threatened. And then they didn’t know where to hide or what to do. When the ideology of misanthropy, terror and extremism appears somewhere in the world, the world must unite, close ranks and say a resolute “no” to such manifestations. Otherwise, it will be a universal problem. At the instigation of the West, it is.”
There are some other excellent statements as usual. Maria really schooled the Yahoo! News presstitute, which was the exchange prior to the one above.
Only a US defeat by the united multipolar world can remedy the current hegemonic world.
US is against Russia, US is against China, US is against Iran, US is against Saudi Arabia, etc. Russia has been innocent but pushed to the limit by US and its lapdog EU. China takes care of its own citizens in its own way which makes US neurotic. Iran has been US/Israel punch bag almost fifty years. The latest US fury is against Saudi Arabis, simply because Saudi Arabia wouldn’t increase its oil production to hurt OPEC+.
Any other country behaving, real or imaginary, like US, would have been branded aggressive and sanctioned to death. But not the US.
Obviously, US thinks it can get away with anything, and there are plenty of lemmings (gang bullies) to cheer US up by the sideline.
This situation has to be rectified.
A significant number of folks who demanded more Andrei, are also totally invested in a Putin-Russia-Allied Victory.
You must see that there’s a direct correlation between a Russian victory (or measure/degree of) with former vassals, colonies shaking off the chains, demanding to be cut loose, and pure not perceived freedom.
As Russia concedes ground (tactical or otherwise), as Donbass/other residents remain shelled and as direct attacks on Russia prevail, no matter for NATO graphics, then, the Western mafia and their in-house global cockroaches still exert influence.
Only by crushing Ukraine/NATO will we see Euro-Asia’s vision of the world implemented.
Bombing transit routes in western Ukraine 3 months ago might have cut off the supply of armaments shipped to UAF in Kharkov for their counteroffensive, for example. Not to forget the pro-Russian civilians who faced the Nazi firing squad.
“Bombing transit routes in western Ukraine 3 months ago might have cut off the supply of armaments…”
Yep it would have mate, but in the grand scheme of things allowing that war materiel and personnel freedom of movement allowed RF to destroy them. Thus saving more Russian lives in the medium to long term?
Kindred spirits and fellow world citizens;
I’d prepared a long statement, carefully written, which showed how my nearly 80 years here has taught me a great deal about human nature, and how it’s playing out today in Ukraine.
I also believe I understand the majority of Vladimir Putin’s ends and means, and I certainly agree with them, except that I’d like to see an end to the very real Satanic evil that Zelinsky and his kind represent. Because he is a very active agent in this moral nightmare, my own impulse is to “cut the head off the snake” and have done with it.
He must NOT be allowed to leave the country to spend his days as most US sponsored tyrants do, in a mansion with endless financing from his generous sponsors, the world capitalist centers in London, New York, IsraHell, etc.
As the first US-born son of immigrants from Italy who fled the Black Shirts, I feel Zelinsky at the least deserves the same treatment as Mussolini. And to show that we’ve matured somewhat since then, he should first be tried by a panel of jurists as a war criminal for his misuse of political ends and means. The next Fool seeking to be Lord of War may reconsider his/her ways in the world community of humankind.
Russia wants Zelensky alive. Ukraine can not fake its way out of its obligation to deliver Z to Russia. Failure to do so will be costly. If his death is faked or he is spirited out of Ukraine it will cost 100,000 lives. At what point does a neutral country stop being neutral? At the latest right around the time it decides to host a or recognize government in exile. NATO’s game is to execute as many warlike actions as it can without actually declaring war. Children should be very careful when playing with fire
‘Will they ever learn?’ you ask, Andrei?
Well, they certainly haven’t learned that Russia doesn’t bluff, the result of which the Ukraine is now paying for its insolence.
You can smell the panic in Euro-Nato capitals. They know perfectly well that the same damage could be visited upon their own satrapies with about the same ease as the one in the Ukraine. And the Master is far away, across the Atlantic ocean, making hay while the sun shines — Ya’acov Sullivan’s ‘opportunity moment’ post-Nordstream I & II attacks, remember?
At the back of their mind — those still lucid, mainly in uniform (the likes of sacked Admiral Schoenbach, former chief of the German navy, I would suggest) — they must be thinking, ‘now that in this nuclear age a war can easily be brought to the shores of America, will the Yanks really come to our aid? 100%? Sure? Or will they make a deal behind our backs, throw us to the wolves, or rather, bears, and save themselves?’
Client states in the ME are showing the US/West the finger through OPEC, with the Sheikh running the UAE rubbing the salt in by visiting…gasp!…VV Putin in St Petersburg and then sitting down for a, four-eyes conversation. From the looks of it, these people in the ME learn fast. And on top of this Russian MFA through its embassy in Tel Aviv has just delivered a slap in the face to that criminal apartheid entity posing as a country in Occupied Palestine. Lines are being redrawn in the ME as we speak, it seems to me.
And all the while that slow-learner, the dolt Stoltenberg — who has all the political acumen of St Greta the Green — has just made a tacit admission that Nato is in fact fighting Russia in the (non-Nato) Ukraine.
No doubt about it. We’re living in interesting times indeed.
“And on top of this Russian MFA through its embassy in Tel Aviv has just delivered a slap in the face to that criminal apartheid entity posing as a country in Occupied Palestine.”
What has occurred in Tel Aviv? What “slap in the face”?

Good videos. I have heard there have been strange columns of light being seen and some have speculated that this is related to SKYLINK going down over Ukraine. I would really like to see some videos of the Peresvet and Zadira EW systems in operation. This might explain the columns of light. These systems along with Tirada-2 and the Palantin are very interesting to me. Anyone have any videos or stills? I wonder how disruptive this was for Ukraine command and control.
Reporting on this side of the pond says Elon deliberately cut SL service to the Ukraine(sure he did)…….external signal interruption is not good for future sales me thinks…..
Cheers M
has anyone heard about Gonzalo Lira ? He is in Kharkov and I think he’s under some sort of arrest and probably can’t get out of there….
I’m worried too. His last roundtable was on September 29, nearly two weeks ago.
Ladies, he is fine, short on ac power, but he is active on the net. He put up a post 2/3 days ago, a, hmmm…..a friend, female, had stopped by….guess he’s pre occupied.
Cheers M
thanks Sean – great to hear –
It’s easy to ladle the ink of bigotry onto the minds of people. It’s tenacious stuff, and once dispensed, it’s hard to remove. It will be a long hard job to scrub it out, of Banderistan, and out of the so called civilized Europeans. Part of the challenge of the Russian leaders is to win the conflict while avoiding setting the stain more deeply and widely than necessary.
Separately, recall the remarks of Ursula von der Leyen, that Russia is forced to scavenge chips from washers and dryers to make advanced military hardware. With all these missile strikes, the madcap scrapping of appliances can only worsen. My sympathy goes out to all of those washer folk in Russia who now must scrub their clothing at a river, in the dead of winter. It’s all the worse since they’ve grown accustomed to hypersonic washers.
I register that the photo is staged like a propaganda shoot.
It’s not like 6 random people gathering randomly of the street to pose in front of it.
Looks like a group from some organization (Echo ?) have been instructed to line up infront of the picture.
T-shirt colors are spaced out evenly between black and purple. Two men on the side, and 4 women in center.
Ukraine looks like a basket case, indoctrinated for 30+ years. Will take 2 generations to restore sanity.
Thank you for this clarification.
I think people in the West, who claim to love Russia, are looking at this war as a game and they want their favorite to be the most wicked as possible. They understand nothing of the spirit of Russia and тоска.
The “spirit of Russia” is even more than “тоска” because this word (which is untranslatable into most Western languages) has necessarily quite strong sad, painful feeling but the “spirit of Russia” express a lot of Love and warmth too.
Putin fights this war of good against evil with weapons, yes of course, how else !? but he fights for the peace and for the humanity.
It may seem paradoxical “War and Love” yet we must not confuse Passivity and Pacifism. It seems as contradictory as the Noise of Silence, a deafening silence because of the sound of weapons.
The era (post Vietnam war) of “Peace and Love” did not change the world !?
Russia will change the world for the good of all humanity. Then the weapons will shut up, definitively, until the Day of Silence, when the flowers will grow at the end of the cannons.
On that day the New Man will rise and live.

About the тоска :
This song is very popular in Russia, all children study it in music lessons. This is the story of a young girl who was forced to marry! It also happened to his mother. This was the life of Russian women in time past, everything was decided by the father, the mother could only comfort her child. In the song, she tells him “I won’t betray you”, promising to do everything so that she doesn’t marry this man she doesn’t love, but in the end she leaves it up to God and blesses her for this marriage.
This song is very touching, full of Love, it is beautiful and sad at the same time. Perhaps this video and the illustration proposed by its author open a window on the magic of the Russian world.

You formulate a Polish view of history
– Moreover, for those who classify Poland in the group of Western Nazis, I just want to remind that 6 million Poles (including 3 million Jews) were exterminated by the SS and not only by Germans but also by the Ukrainians (SS Waffen), the famous banderists.
“3 mill Polish Jews died” …
God help me
– Russia will change the world for the good of all humanity.
Here you imply this war started Feb 24, 2022, and it is just about Russian interests vs Western interests.
The Russian view is this war started 2014.
The Stoltenberg view is a defeat in Ukraine will end NATO.
The alt medias view is more in line with Giorgia Meloni, this is about family values / Christian values … and also about Revelation [transhumanism and history as we know it]
Colonel Cassad’s live journal has presented us with the complete logistics of the bomb which was used on the Crimean Bridge..
The bomb was included in a shipment from the port of Odessa to Ruse Bulgaria.. It was then shipped to Poti Georgia with new bills of lading, then shipped to Armenia where new shipping documents were provided.. It travelled back through Georgia to the Krasnodar area of Russia, where its final paperwork was issued for the trip across the bridge to Crimea..
This was an SBU operation, which included 5 Russians and one Armenian shipping agent.. All nine are in Russian custody; no doubt giving singing lessons in a sub-basement of the Lubyanka..
Here in Germany we now had several instances of extreme bewilderment at local food banks. Behaviour so over the top bizarre that people were just shocked. For example a woman driving to the food bank in a massive SUV, handing a shopping list to the employee of the food bank with items like black and red caviar as well as shrimp on it and then paying the 2 € symbolic obolus out of a bushel of 100 € notes with a 100 € note. This is just one example of many instances of the crassest sense of entitlement. The employees at the food banks noted that they never experienced anything like this with the Syrians. Or in the public transport on the train, a young Ukrainian man on his phone when asked by an elderly man to give up his seat since a) he had a reservation and b) the train was packed and he simply had to sit in his age, the young man just said he was Ukrainian. Then there is this Melnyk character “diplomat” to Germany that continues to stun with ever new records of tone deafness. “Shaka laka boom boom” he tweeted after the bombing of the Crimean bridge.
I don’t know what happened here, how typical the cultural depravity is but it is becoming quite in your face and it is even beginning to be reported in the news like the food bank incidents. A Ukrainian acquaintance of mine explained to me that there is this mentality that in Europe everything is free for Ukrainians right now. These people do not realize that they are being offered humanitarian aid not just free stuff.
Zelensky demanding stuff has also become a meme. The only thing that the PR machine manages to keep in place still is this Putin, the bully thing: subjectively Russia is the big bad strong guy beating up the little guy and taking his stuff. And Russia IS substantially stronger than the Ukraine. This is then upsetting the normal working class woman in her mainstream bubble who projects the sort of ego on Putin she is familiar with from some male minityrant from work. Also affected are all “tyranny-sensitive” youngsters who think it is “just wrong” to invade and think German national interest is so irrelevant it is just a cop-out from moral duty to, you know, “values”. Or AfD think. (our right wing party)
However Ukrainian behaviour to my estimation is beginning to chip away from this empathy with the underdog thing in the general public also people just simply cannot see the point of the sanctions other than ruining the country. All of the ordinary tradesmen I have met so far personally like Putin. It is them who started the first pro Nordstream 2 demonstrations. They understand Putin and think he is a normal man protecting his people also that we should simply take the gas we are paying anyway. Same goes for many of the Turks and every single taxi driver I have talked to so far. Taxi drivers generally tend to get it.
We shall see about the winter. It really helps when the Russian Federation can do what she needs to do politely and without too much vitriol, so the focus will go more and more on Ukrainian bad behaviour. The smart have to think for the dumb, as the saying goes.
