Check out this one:
Amazing. While being utterly incapable of protecting the USA against *real* threats, this is the kind of silly nonsense which the FBI is engaged in. All this reminds me of the KGB during the late Brezhnev years: big, bloated, phenomenally incompetent and specializing in harassing perceived “enemies of the state” while utterly missing the *real* enemies.
As somebody who has carefully and personally observed the collapse of the Soviet Union I can assure you that the similarity of what happened then and what is going on in the USA today is really uncanny. Truly the post-Dubya USA has a “Brezhnevian feel” to it.
What an irony!

I thought so. I was suspicious when twitter fans were saying what a great boon it was for “democratic” movements in Iran – the color revolutions. Same goes for the whole topic of internet activism. It’s not a real alternative to the traditional methods, because it’s a tool entirely under the control of the imperial homeland- in the final analysis. It’s why any real effort to construct a network of protest with view sufficiently different from the mainstream can’t be constructed using the internet, twitter … If the government gets serious, and you achieve any sort of success, you will be rounded up. Usually the plan is to allow some minor successes, like a sting, to sucker people into using this method, and once you get their names etc, you choose an appropriate time to shut the whole thing down.

Why does the gov need to set up any surveillance when lameasses go on social networking pages and spill their life story and political views? All groups are always infiltrated it’s part of divide and conquer.
