Dear friends
It’s day 10 of the Russian special operation and in this commentary I will try to sum up some of the most critical developments. So here we go:
First, the now obligatory map of the situation as of yesterday evening:
I won’t comment much because either it is self-evident to you and my commentary is not needed, or this looks like an imminent Ukrainian victory over a “miscalculating Putin” to you, in which case no comments of mine are going to help either. So no more comments about the map for right now :-)
Next,
- According to am internal Ukrainian document which has been circulating on the Runet, apparently a leak from the Ukie security council, which admits 40% of the Ukrainian territory is under Russian control and over 75% of the Ukie military was destroyed. Considering the amount of fakes out there, I cannot vouch for the authenticity of this document, but I will notice that those two figures (40% territory and 75% of the military) are exactly what I have been estimating myself, especially the size of the remaining military (which is much more important than holding territory).
- Why are the Russians calling this a “special operation”? I would argue that this is a type of operation which has never been seen before. Ever. My friend Andrei Martyanov coined a very good term, he called it a “combined arms police operation”. Let me explain “combined arms” is, in the Russian military terminology, the “the main form of combat of modern armies, in which the efforts of formations, units and units of various types of ground forces are combined and coordinated with the actions of other types of armed forces“. This type of warfare can only be conducted by combined arms units and implies an operational-level dimension. In other words, a combined arms operation has nothing in common with a police operation, yet in this case Andrei Martyanov is right – what we are seeing here is a police operation whose aim is to disarm and apprehend/neutralize a criminal force which itself is so big that it is capable of operational-level warfare. Normally, police operations are always on the low end of tactical level sectrum (division, brigade, regiment, battalion, company, platoon) and rarely involve more than maybe a few APCs. This is clearly not the case today in the Ukraine where combat operations are clearly reaching operational and even strategic levels.
- What does that mean in practice? First and foremost, that the goal of the operation is to deny the enemy the use of all the technologies and infrastructure needed to operational level combat: communications, ammunition, petroleum, oil, lubricants, air support, reconnaissance and targeting, etc. etc. etc. Once that goal has been achieved, you cannot speak of a “Ukrainian armed forces” anymore, but only of specific subunits fighting at a tactical level. Again, the goal is not to kill a maximal number of Ukies or to flatten cities. The goal is to lower the level or combat operations the Ukies are capable of. This objective is been almost completely achieved. The key indicator of this success is that the Ukies are not capable of coordinated maneuver anymore. Even better (or worse, depending on whom you support), the Russians have total air superiority, which makes any movements very very dangerous (Russian fixed and rotary wing CAS operations include “free hunts” in free fire zones).
- What about the cities then? Cities provide a very desirable environment for defensive operations, especially if you are willing to have a lot of civilian casualties. In our case, not only are the Ukronazis willing, they have established an entire system to maximize causalities. In several cities the Ukies are holding the locals has human shields (remember that under the Bandera ideology, the eastern Ukrainians are “separs” which only deserve death anyway, so murdering them is a no-brainer). In some cases, the sides did agree to humanitarian corridors, but every city in which there is a hardcore Nazi deathsquad the civilians are banned from leaving and even ordered in specific dorms, schools, buildings which are then used by the Ukronazis.
- Coming back to Martyanov’s “combined arms police operation“, please understand that this is not a “police operation” in the US sense of the word during the war against Korea where the USAF ran out of targets to bomb since they totally destroyed all of north Korea. In this case, the Russians are REALLY going out of their way to not only spare lives, but also spare the civilians infrastructure, and not only because the Russians do see the Ukrainians as their own people, but also because each building destroyed by Russia is one that Russia will have to pay for its reconstruction. So this is truly a very special operation in the sense that it is conducted on a scale and with methods previously unseen in human history.
- Now we need to look at PSYOPs again. I would argue that Western PSYOPs were absolutely superb in their coordination and effectiveness. Oh sure, the Russians did expect some of it, but the scale I think must have stunned the Kremlin. And now, a week into this, the Russians are clearly fed up. The Russian just passed a law foreseeing criminal charges against deliberately spreading fake news about the military. As a result, all these Western PSYOP agencies are leaving Russia: ABC News, BBC, Bloomberg, CBC, CBS News, CNN and there will be more. Furthermore, both Twitter and Facebook are now blocked in Russia. As for the worst 5th column outlets inside Russia (Dozhd, Meduza) they are now also being shut down. Frankly, and considering how the West is blocking not only RT and Sputnik, but even entire domain names like .ru or .su, I think that it was high time to retaliate against Western PSYOP outlets. Ditto for the way the US and other governments have taken action to silence even individual blogs and websites, I would say that better late then never.
- The current US PSYOP narrative about the Russians begin defeated and on full retreat will not survive this week-end, so it will now shift to “the Putin’s Mordor Gulag is being extended over the suffering Ukraine”. Furthermore, remember all the accusations of genocide against the Serbs in Bosnia, Croatia and Kosovo? This is what will happen to Russia next – a massive wave of accusations of atrocities and genocide. As somebody who had access to classified info during the war against the Serbian nation, I can attest that even if the facts on the ground unambiguously prove the opposite, the Western PSYOPs and their presstitutes don’t care one bit and, frankly, neither do those who voluntarily listen to, or read, the constant stream of vomit spewed by the so called “free and democratic press”
This is crucial: the Empire of Lies is lying, of course, but it also knows the true score. Which means that now that the West has lost the war in the Ukraine it needs two things: as many dead (on all sides) as possible and to make the most political capital possible from this war, which means that not only must it last as long as possible, but it has to “deliver” the biggest number of deaths, maimed and injured. Besides, that kind of stuff pushes all the correct “emotional buttons” and prevents the audience from using its analytical capabilities, however tiny these might be.
Any halfway competent military commander who would look at the map above would immediately see that the only rational decision at this point is for the Ukrainians to surrender: that map is really a no brainer. But since orders come from Uncle Shmuel and since Uncle Shmuel hates Steppe Niggers no less than Snow Niggers, Uncle Shmuel will now aim its immense resources at prolonging that war as long as possible and with as many casualties as possible.
On a more personal note, I have to say that being a Russian in the West is outright painful. I can only imagine what Jews must have felt in the 30s in Germany. The worst part is not to see the herds of passive infantile TV watching idiots being idiots, the worst and most heartbreaking is to see people you love and respect being totally conned and fully accepting the Western PSYOPs narrative. In my case, it happened with close friends and even clergymen which really ought to know better (if you are Orthodox, then you are the spiritual heir to the Roman Empire, which means that you ought to know not only what Franks and Crusaders did in the past, but also realize the full continuity between them, the Franks and Crusaders of the past, and the modern Franks and Crusaders; apparently not all Orthodox Christians can connect these dots, what a shame, really!). Anyway, these are lonely days for me and my family. Then, in quick succession, I saw Roger Water’s interview for RT yesterday, following by the following Israeli headlines:
- Roger Waters Latest Disgraceful Shilling for Russia
- Roger Waters Heaps Love on Russia and Assad In Latest Disgraceful Remarks
- Roger Waters’ Hypocrisy on Full Display
In this interview with RT, Roger remembered the day he asked his friend Etienne what gave him courage and Etienne replied “Roger, maybe I am not alone?”.
Well, Roger, if you read these lines, know that thanks to you, I feel that I am maybe not alone either. You gave me courage all my life, and your voice consoled me in my darkest times, and here, again, you are with me. Thank you Roger, I cannot put in words what that means to me!
Frankly, I was sure that the sheer size of the US PSYOP would affect Roger just as it affected even some of my Russian and Orthodox friends. And Roger is an artist, a composer, a poet and a musician, but he sure ain’t not political science geek. And he might not get every detail of what is happening (he is way too busy, for one thing), but his heart guided him and that goes to show that what the West lacks today is not brains, though these are totally missing too, but simply a kind heart?
The French author Rablais (15th century) once wrote “science sans conscience n’est que ruine de l’âme” which means “science without conscience is but the ruin of the soul“.
A fitting epitaph on the West’s grave if you ask me.
And also a warning to Russia not to follow the West’s shameful path into self-destruction: what would be the point of a military victory if Russia becomes just the latest iteration of a terminally Westernized nation? How could Russia save the Ukraine if she can’t even save herself spiritually? Even the best military on the planet won’t save Russia if the souls and brains of young, and not so young, Russians are constantly polluted with materialism, lies, compromises with one’s honor and, above all, crass, ugly and vulgar materialism?
The conscience of Russia used to be the Russian Orthodox Church. What we see today in Russia is the Moscow Patriarchate being a faithful and obedient mouthpiece for the Kremlin, which is all fine and dandy when a man like Putin sits in power, but the Moscow Patriarchate served Eltsin just as faithfully and if tomorrow, Putin is gone and some Eltsinoid manages to seize power, the Moscow Patriarchate will serve him.
The Church of Christ cannot be a sycophantic servant of the secular state AND the conscience of a nation. It is either one or the other. God willing, the events in the Ukraine will affect Russia in a profound spiritual way, just the way the LDNR serves to remind Russia what she is called to be. As a good priest friend told me yesterday, “Andrei, God can act even through the Sergianists“. He is right, and that gave me courage at a time when I was feeling frankly desperate by the blindness of my fellow Orthodox Christians.
So yes, things in Russia are bad, especially spiritually, but I will not give up hope. Maybe a new Patriarch like Saint Germogen or a new Metropolitan of Moscow like Saint Philip II, will be granted to the Russian nation if we all repent for our sins, compromises, cowardice, and lack of faith (see page 105 here)? Yes, it does sound impossible today, especially when I look at “Patriarch Kirill” and his gang, but I chose to place my trust in the words of Christ Himself: “with men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible” (Matt 19:23-26).
My next update, unless something major happens, should be tomorrow. First, I need to spend some time with my family and, second, by tomorrow late evening (Moscow time) things should be much clearer (not that the outcome is in any doubt, really).
Kind regards
Andrei
An Open Letter To President Putin
To: H. E. President Vladimir Putin,
President, The Russian
Federation, & Commander-In-
Chief, The Russian Aerospace
Forces
From: James Gathungu,
Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya
Date: 4th March, 2022
Dear Your Excellency Distinguished Sir,
Ref: Africa Stands With Russia- Why Russian Must Crash & Decapitate The Head Of This Snake Of Neo-Colonialism Once And For All.
I hope this letter finds you well. And please receive my warmest greetings from the Westlands suburb of Nairobi, Kenya. I know that the probability of this letter ever reaching you is almost negligible but I’ll write it nevertheless.
Well, Your Excellency Sir, to paraphrase my favorite words of James Albert Michenener (in his massive book, Space), space is limitless. It stretches on forever. You, Your Excellency Sir, and I, reside on a minute speck of dust- revolving around a minor star- on the far edge of a minor galaxy. And when we die, we are forgotten. And some day, the galaxies themselves’ll be gone, too. The only morality that makes sense in this world therefore is to at least say a little “thank you” to the change makers daring to confront with boldness, the trajectory of history by facing pure evil head on- and at any and all costs- in the course of their lives… just like you have done with the mess in Ukraina. Quite clearly, Your Excellency President Putin, sir, you have put on the armor of God, and the purpose of this letter is thank you as you move fast to get what needs to be done, well, done.
I’m sure you’ll be very pleasantly surprised to learn that the majority in Africa, just as is the case around many other parts of the world, are exceedingly impressed by the huge amount of courage, bravery and unrelenting decisiveness that you continue to display on the international stage by forcefully confronting imperialists that thought they could trifle with Russia. It is indeed possible that you will never know just how truly proud we all are of you, down here in good old Africa. In a world that has completely gone mad, it is very, very easy indeed for us here in Africa to figure out who the real adult in the room is. In the eyes of lots of Africans, the massive country that is the Russian motherland is considered a giant military, technological, geopolitical and diplomatic superpower, and many of us here on this continent could have found it almost impossible to forgive you if you had not acted on the atrocities visited upon the long suffering Donbas by the shameful geopolitical cesspool festering in Ukraina since Nuland’s Maidan putsch of 2014.
Many attentive observers deem the killing of all of 14, 000 souls in Novorrosiya in the impunity of the last 8 years as geopolitically unpalatable. We expect that when Russia’s military operation there is concluded, all the perpetrators- especially the neo-nazis that burnt people alive in Mariopul, will, as promised, be speedily brought to account for their actions in a precedent-setting full public trial, no matter whom they think they are.
Also, Your Excellency Sir, please also kindly allow me to- on behalf of all Africans- express the stupendous gratitude that many of us here forever feel for your game-changing intervention in Syria years ago that finally brought calm and sanity there. Even today, it is still utterly shocking that people calling themselves leaders reportedly encouraged Syrian civilians to kill each other to the tune of a whopping 500, 000 souls lost in the name of “promoting democracy”. Only the Almighty God knows by just how many orders of magnitude this utter mayhem would have escalated had the Russian armed forces merely only stood by and watched without acting to halt the rabid madness. That both President Biden of the United States and President Erdogan of Turkey are still openly blocking Russia from unifying and pacifying that much abused country as Syrian children freeze to death in the refugee tents of Idlib is very, very sad indeed. For which culture, may I ask… which world religion, finds any honor in old men of the ages of both Joe Biden and Recep Erdogan eating dinner at all, ever going to bed, or finding any sleep whatsoever, while infants, toddlers and mere babes suckle the milkless breasts of raped young mothers who froze to death in the frigid nights of the howling tents in Idlib. Does anyone at all seem to have any idea that there is a God in Heaven? And if it is indeed true that modern communications have effectively reduced our world into a global village (in Kenya for instance, 100% of all adults aged above 18 years own a cellphone), then western leaders appear to have no inkling whatsoever that the destruction of Libya, the devastation of Iraq, the dismembering of Afghanistan, Syria, Zimbabwe, the Congo, Mozambique, et al, is being correctly and widely judged as the open greed of imperialism that it is.
As a matter of fact, no less a person than Liz Truss, the actual sitting foreign secretary of the United Kingdom, is recently on record saying that Britons should be encouraged to volunteer to fight for Ukraine’s so-labeled “international legions”, euphemism for a “mercenary corps”, to help her country colonize this vast nation located right at the doorstep of Russia. Is Lizz Truss ready to volunteer her two children for the Ukrainian Army’s Donbas frontline to face the Russian military? Or she is, perhaps- putting into account her job description and pay grade- currently having a good go at convincing the two grandsons of the Queen of England- Prince William and his little brother, Prince Harry to travel and help hold fort in the encircled city of Mariopul and face down the prospect of Russia’s hypersonic missiles? Or is Lizz Truss hoping to achieve her objectives of fighting wars in Eastern Europe by using other people’s children? Viewed from down here in Africa, and coming from Queen Elizabeth’s Britain that we all used to respect so much, this is such an unbelievably irresponsible provocation, making us to ask this question: is Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth still in charge at Buckingham Palace as her top government bureaucrats openly plan senseless bloodbaths in full glare for all to see. Is there a grown up still left anywhere in the U.K.? Has everybody gone mad in Britain? Even worse, every media house, country, person, corporate, and organization in the EU and NATO nakedly seems to have been drugged into one of history’s most shamefully cringeworthy web of lies, propaganda and daily nonsense in their foolish discussions of the war in Ukraine. Yet even a man with one eye can see for himself the suicidal shenanigans that these discredited and ill mannered leaders are rendering near Russia’s very borders. How do the likes of Stoltenberg, Truss, Sholz, Borrel, et al ever hope to clean up their now tattered images in the global public opinion? What a misconducting, delusional collection of utterly irresponsible leadership now running the once much admired Europe!!! When the dust eventually settles, and the correct history is written about today’s crisis in Ukraine, I have little doubt that these so called European leaders will emerge as the scourge of our generation.
For us here in Africa however, the very worst we have witnessed so far in this rapidly deteriorating farce are the now very viral videos online, of African refugees, especially university students, being unbelievably so disgustingly racially discriminated against as they flee Ukraine into the EU. Apparently, the skins of Africans fleeing into Poland are too black to deserve the clothes, shoes, and billions of dollar donations being collected throughout Europe by all manner of self-serving organizations by the shipload for war refugees. A good example is that all Kenyans students escaping to Poland have been given just 15 days to get out of that EU territory; proving that the EU is the most racist collective anywhere in the world today. Incidentally, the baking cake in the oven that is the EU’s now full blown, open racism against ethnic Russia wouldn’t be complete without the beautiful topping of the black cherries of racism against Africans fleeing EU’s war. So much for “our Western values”!
In this regard, distinguished President Putin, I’d very kindly like to bring to your personal attention the fate of a young lady by the name of Chonga- I believe she could be from Zambia- who is a university student at the military university in Sumy, Ukraine. Her mother was pleading on international TV that she may be desperate and in despair. Please honorable sir, kindly allow me to request you to get Miss Chonga out to safety. There were 75, 000 foreign students in Ukraine as of last week, with a quarter of them being from Africa. 10, 000 of them are said to have escaped and are now facing open, official EU racial abuse, with one viral video showing Somali students having no choice but to burn their clothes and bag in order try to keep warm in the harsh European winter after the Polish refugee service ignored them. Very many are trapped in Sumy, Ukraine, where reportedly there are no buses in or out. Africa will forever be exceedingly grateful to you should the Almighty God put you in a position to mobilize the Russian Red Cross, UNICEF Russia (UNICEF is the UN agency with the mandate over higher education), etc, to organize an air bridge from Ukraine to Nairobi, Kenya of all African university student war victims for onward forwarding to their mother countries. I believe this is possible since you have already accomplished the same arrangement for Tanzanian students with the Tanzanian government.
Meanwhile, as Africans confront the reality of a viral neo-apartheid these past few days on EU territory, European companies are making a killing in here Kenya. A good example is Unilever. This company has been selling the Omo and Sunlight detergents, Blue Band Margarine, among other bar soaps, personal care products, and so on for years, to millions of families in Africa. In the same breath, Vodafone’s payment systems and mobile wallets whose revenues is in the annual trillions of shillings continue to vacuum off African income to its foreign shareholders at rates that were unprecedented even at the height of colonialism. As European media goes overdrive with their shameful hysterics in fomenting the war in Ukraine, in the past one week alone, the prices of these products in Kenya have rapidly sky-rocketed, revealing the real motives of this shameful insanity of ongoing European media blitzkrieg busy inciting the Ukrainians into armed conflict against their Russian Slavic brothers. In 2022, Unilever and other European companies such as oil marketers (In Kenya, European oil companies, having achieved absolute monopoly here are now the importers, the wholesalers, the transporters and retailers of fuel and cooking gas, having largely edged out locals from this value chain through well orchestrated media campaigns of “adulterated fuels” accusations against petrol stations owned by indigenous locals. In fact, there is nary a viable street in Nairobi without a petrol station owned by Europeans with some being separated by mere meters on some streets. Besides their overpriced fuels, the Kenyan government has for years now routinely been setting aside even more additional billions for these European oil marketers to “subsidize poor Kenyans against the escalating price of fuels”. It’s total racketeering). As such, in 2022, European companies are truly set to make record-making killings in profits as the world burns. The cold, neo-colonial European financial calculation in this whole conflict is therefore to wreck the Russian economy, kill Russians with poverty, as well as, ultimately, overflowing the coffers of European companies through the raping of African customers of European goods and services in the fog of war. The real irony in all this though is that although the skins of Nigerians, Kenyans, Zambians, Somalis and other ethnic Africans fleeing into EU territory is too black and therefore racially undeserving of shoes, clothes and foodstuffs donated elsewhere in the EU, these Africans are nonetheless also just good enough and therefore need to be urgently repatriated in order to be raped economically on their continent through inflated consumer goods prices.
Even worse, Your Excellency sir, this neo-colonialism is being ratcheted up at the worst possible time, when drought is vastly devastating the Horn of Africa. Just late last year, thousands of pastoralist livestock in Kenya starved to death for lack of pasture and water, rendering entire swathes destitute. And as you can see in the latest edition of Kenya’s “The East African” newspaper, US$ 87 million dollars worth of Kenyan imports to Russia have been abruptly stopped due to sanctions on your distinguished country. I have little doubt that these commodities will eventually reach Russia, but at much higher prices, and with new European brokers. What this means is that poor Kenyan coffee, tea and flower farmers and workers that used to handle these products are on their way to untold poverty. And because their tax contributions will evaporate, the Western owned multilateral lenders will be lining up to loan the Kenyan government millions of dollars in the near term. As of yesterday, the Kenyan parliament was busy raising our debt ceiling to legally allow it absorb more foreign debt. This is why the Kenyan government is now already well set to borrow massively from European and other banks based locally at interest rates that are currently likely criminal on EU territory. But as I usually say with these things, Your Excellency Sir, one needs to replicate this Kenyan scenario across all 54 African countries to get an idea of the sheer extent of this neo-colonialism to the tune of annual trillions shylocked and shaken down from the already impoverished African. That’s why Africa supports Russia as your highly distinguished military fights to break the neck of this apartheid.
Hopefully, in the face of the terrible racism recently meted to African refugees in Poland, Africa is set to demonstrate to Europeans what real sanctions look like when all our 54 countries eventually boycott products of every European country until they fully restore our crucial African earnings and trade with Russia.
And as you may very well remember, President Putin, the late Muammar Ghadafi, the former Libyan president, was invaded, killed, and his country utterly destroyed because of his two great ambitions and overarching continental visions that were way ahead of his time, namely: i.) The creation of a United States Of Africa, and ii.) A single African continental currency, the “African Dinar”, backed by the gold standard.
Considering that culture does not make people but that it’s people who actually make culture, the current global structures were made by people, and some of them may have run their course… In light of the afore going, and specifically in regard to mitigating the economic risks on African economies posed by Western sanctions that lack the basic manners of consulting the African Union before arbitrarily imposing them, I hereby propose the three parties constituting (a.) The Russian Central Bank, (.b) the Chinese Central Bank as well as (.c) the consortium of African Central Bankers under the chairmanship of the BRICS Bank to immediately convene a thorough technical study of the short term, medium term, and long term effects that the current Western sanctions on Russia will have on African economies such as increases of prices of basic goods, inflation, unemployment, trade losses, loss of export markets, capital flight, currency devaluations, degradation of foreign reserves, export substitutions and so on- with the overriding objectives being to (1.) Immediately actualize Muammar Ghadafi’s vision of the above mentioned single continental currency, the African Dinar, anchored on the gold standard (2.) The creation of the African version of SWIFT to be eventually interlinked with both the Chinese and Russian iterations of the same.
Sir, we are praying for your quick success in thoroughly cleaning up the entire Ukraine of its geopolitical cesspool. Also, I personally take this opportunity to invite you to, when all this is finally over, consider paying a state visit to Kenya. Hopefully, you will be accompanied by the entire spectrum of Russian business: manufacturing, services, commodities, et al.
Thanks and kind regards,

Asante sana, James. I have many good memories in Nairobi. Your letter is spot on, my brother.
Hi there David Sant… thanks for compliment. Don’t know which year you visited… you should come again and see how the Chinese Road Silk Road Project has renovated the city… karibu sana tena ndugu!!
Heartfelt and true! Thank you brother.

I am an American living in the US. Your site is pivotal in my understanding of what is going on and in my ability to assess the outlines of corruption and darkness that are operating at the behest of empire and that have captured NATO and the EU. Often I daily benefit from your work to communicate as I communicate with others in the public setting of a local coffeehouse or with a friend who grew up in East Germany. The value of your work extends far beyond the readership.
My perspective is that Russia is one of the few powers able to stand up the the forces of empire and to break its back. It is my hope that the destruction being wrought by the hysterical response to needed change in the world will are an opportunity for many to wake up and free themselves from within so they let go of their participation and unknowing support of the exploitation, imprisonment, and subjugation of the creative light and love and will of humanity.
Russia is breaking the grip of darkness and lies and is realeasing the illusion for many to see behind the curtain of illusion. If these events are viewed through the lens of suffering and compassion and as opening a healing path for the world to renew itself in accord with light then it does give me hope.
I do see the ignorance and passivity and complicit distraction of many who don’t care enough to know. Perhaps the scope of the darkness is too great to contemplate for many who are not working to found themselves in their heart. And, perhaps the suffering which may come is an opportunity for them to arrive at some opportunity to observe the incredible betrayal of humanity and light and to find a way to locate that in themselves rather than to depend on their ration of materialism and distraction to keep them from the abyss of fear they carry and are responsible for cleansing in themselves.
Thank you for your work! Don’t loose hope even if the trajectory of return to the light is not able to be measured and observed. The world is changing and old shackles are being thrown off.
“As a matter of fact, no less a person than Liz Truss, the actual sitting foreign secretary of the United Kingdom,” indeed Sir, it would be a difficult task to find less of a person than the idiotic, robotic, arrogant and ignorant Lis Truss (interesting fact: in England a truss is a medical device used to support a hernia)
Hi Cliff… Truss’s misconduct is truly unbecoming. How does a country keep such a miscreant in such an important posting? The U.K. has truly degraded…
I guess it speaks volumes when it comes to what makes up BoJo’s backbench.
Hello there walker… I sure do agree with you. Once upon a time, Kenyans used to defer to every Briton due to their well calculated behaviors when on foreign land. The downward spiral as regards morality is truly sad. No Jonsohns parties during Covid are particularly shameful when viewed from down here. But it’s not just these British leaders. The entire EU leadership is irredeemably rotten, which I guess explains the sharp deterioration of relations with Russia a lot better than anything else.
Yes, what a shame that Paul Kruger’s men didn’t manage to finish the job of eliminating all of them. The Brits screwed up all of southern Africa after the Boer’s war.
Hello Cas, certainly… isn’t it interesting just how a tiny country like Britain and with such rude leaders is always trying to step on everybody’s shoes. For starters, Britain is not a super power. It was given a thorough walloping by Kenya’s Mau Mau during Kenya’s fight for independence. It’s just that here in our country, the U.K. has managed to completely outmaneuver the USA. While British banks and financial companies continue to make all the money, US NGOs have on their part been left arranging all the conferences. Britain was only saved by the fact that Donald Trump did not find this out.
..For starters, Britain is not a super power. It was given a thorough walloping by Kenya’s Mau Mau during Kenya’s fight for independence. ” Not so.. stay with facts. Mau Mau murdered many more of their own Kikuyu for being loyal to the Govt of that time, than they did us Mzungus.. and they did got whopped.
Was it not the Brits who carved up much off the White Highlands to hand over to the indigenous even before independence?
I know, as a young charter pilot I often flew Tom Mboya (Justice Min), and the late Bruce Mackenzie, Agric. Min. (later murdered by Idi Amin with a bomb on his small plane). We flew over the whire owned farmlands, as the 2 studied their maps and decided what to ‘give away’.
Keeping in mind that when our family went to Kenya in 1939, our farmland was roamed by ostrich, deer, and zebra.. with an occasional Masai or Kikuyu raiding party crossing on the way to steal cattle or wives.
It is a disease across the entire West.
God bless Africa, God bless you, brother! I’m sure Putin will read your letter.
a romanian living in Italy
Hi Adrian… thanks for speaking a blessing to Africa. God bless you too. I’d be rather delighted if the distinguished H.E. President Putin can read especially my last few paragraphs. This is one joint work between the Russians and the Africans that I’d love to see done in my lifetime; Asante sana bro
As an American born but a couple hundred miles from D.C. in 1986 and formerly a staunch patriot (until friends a little older returned from Iraq and Afghanistan and relayed their experiences to keep me from making the mistake of joining to go fight, coupled with my instinct that 9/11 was definitely not what was being sold to us by our “benevolent leaders” these two impetuses pushed me headlong into obtaining the least biased, most accurate information available {thus my frequency here, thank you ever so much Saker} about not only the current news but the past as well.) I know you refer to Putin as His Excellancy to show your respect and the high regard you hold him in. I’d say my own admiration and respect for the man cant but equal or exceed your own. He is only a man however. I wish you wouldn’t speak as though you are “less than” or “more than” anyone else. He is a man and as comes with being human, flawed.. All titles and positions can be stripped away. Even our histories altered or erased altogether. Sure, his reach may be greater, but all of us deserve respect if we behave ourselves honorably regardless of continent, nation, tribe, or family tree. Just by what you have written I’d say James Gathungu of Kenya is a great man as well and has my respect and admiration just as the distinguished Russian leader does. I make this comment only out of love and my desire for anyone that has been maligned or told they weren’t as worthy because of their origin, skin color, nationality, etc. to realize that it’s bullsh*t and however great someone else may be, they too have that within themselves. Acquit yourself as such, and so shall it be. Let the titles that despots cling to die with the position.
God bless you and may the safe return of the students you write of (and all others fleeing) to already have come to pass as I write this. May the decent amongst the rotten rise up to help those trapped far from home as honored guests and extend every courtesy that the title requires. It is incumbent upon those of us that have benefitted in some way (if only not having to reside in a “targeted” nation) from the horrors our “leaders” have caused to show that they do not speak, act, and certainly do not represent us. Not one U.S. president in my lifetime has. My reach and impact may be almost imperceptible but I will do my part to mitigate the damage my nation has visited upon the world. Perhaps, if others do the same, our humanity can best the atrocities carried out in our name.
Hi Casey,
Thanks for compliments. What a decent man! God will bless you.
Now, here in Africa, we are taught to revere our leaders, especially if they are above a certain age. From premodial times, the African culture was designed to have people divided into different age sets and age groups, meaning that there were clearly distinct layers of respect at every twist and turn. Beginning with people that were born at the same time as you, that was your age set. And you found yourself beginning to have much greater layers of respect for folks of ages just slightly above you. The respect for a leader was an entirely different ball game all together. Then there were rights of passage… circumcision, adolescence, marriage, parenthood, junior eldership, senior elderships and so on until the most senior was a man or woman who had had his children married off and already with teenage children of their own. These are the people that formed the much, truly revered Council of Elders, and they had the life and death job of guiding society. These elaborate norms were to prevent- for instance, the disaster of an old man getting drunk and urinating in front of his own grand children- which is the equivalent of what the likes of Liz Truss have been doing in the full glare of the media, to the utter shock of many who know better. Such misconduct was sure to end very very badly. Make no mistake about it, there were rituals and actual costs to graduate to the next layer of respect; in most cases, it cost you a goat which was eaten by elders to acknowledge your worth. But you could lose all your respect and have all your goats retuned to you. This is still being very widely practiced in various forms especially in rural Kenyan societies. In other words, learning to respect people, and using the appropriate language to express various nuances as per the disparate levels of respect was one of the few things that followed the African from birth all the way to the grave. That’s why to a person like me, I can so very easily discern your good upbringing shinining so brilliantly off of your text. For what you seem to be struggling with here is: What is acceptable as decent and what is not.
When recently the Tanzanian president, the late His Excellency President Maghufuli died, and was replaced by the current president, Her Excellency President Suluhu Hassan, one of the senior most Kenyan newspaper editors found it very necessary to write an entire newspaper article to educate the Kenyan nation about how to address Her Excellency Madam Suluhu Hassan. And this elaborate newspaper article included the extensive issue of addressing the entire business of diplomatic protocol when speaking to the distinguished Madam President at the political podium: from the beginning of the speech, the subsequent references, and everything in between. In other, how to address a sitting president. At another level, this is necessary even for academic purposes.
I guess this sort of lets the cat out of the bag the fact that even well before I got to sit down and type out my above letter to His Excellency president Vladimir Putin, the leader of the Russian Federation, I was already by accident very thoroughly schooled on how to appropriately go about this task by one of my elders (by dint of his age) who works as an editor in Kenya’s Daily Nation Newspaper. I’ll be forever grateful for that newspaper article. Now, I have no illusions: I’m very alive to the fact that there’s no chance that His Excellency President Putin will ever get to read the above letter. But I had to do it properly just in case he, or any of my Kenyan elders, one day does. On these online streets, one never knows.
The current crisis in Europe is also largely due to utter lack of manners towards Russia by NATO diplomats. Since 2014, NATO leaders have consistently used very insulting language, insolent body language and abusive posture to address the leader of this super power. The African therefore cannot but be aghast at the obvious fear, jealousy and helplessness displayed by western leaders in the face of the galloping success of the Russian nation under their current president in all known spheres and by all known calibrations, indicators, metrics and bench marks. What they seem to so conveniently forget is that success comes directly from God Himself. I think the term “we are going to deter Russia” is one of the most insulting terms in modern diplomacy and politics and I’m truly shocked that no one in the EU seems to acknowledge the fact that an inevitable nuclear missile is certainly going to be surely lobbed if this does not stop.
I suggest to the Europeans to re-find basic decency and de-escalate from their dangerous open insolence as they continue to issue all sorts of “important” public announcements about all the “lethal weapons” they are sending, from all sorts of tiny little countries (it is also quite clear to even cursory observers that the only reason why NATO exists is so that America can sell weapons and jet planes, and for France and Britain to continue holding onto their colonies. The fact that Barbados recently peeled off without a single shot being fired lucidly demonstrates that even this is a tenuous illusion at best) to kill real ethnic Russians in Ukraine, for the information reaching Africa so far is that real pure Russians constitute a whopping 12% of Ukraine’s population of 44 million souls.
I’ve seen videos of how black people were treated in Ukraine and at the Polish border.
It is a complete and total disgrace! Europe? What Europe?
Hi Andrei B… the outrage from these shocking videos on unbridled EU racism have been spread like a real wildfire in Kenyan society these past week. These videos have been virally shared across all of social media throughout the country. Kenya, a country where almost everyone owns a smart phone happens to be one of the planet’s most wired societies thats most active across the disparate social media. So, the Europeans most likely have no clue about the gathering storm of the backlash awaiting them here. I never imagined that I’d live to see the day that the scales would fall off of the eyes of Kenyans about the endemic racism inherent in the EU. How does a polity like the EU manage to lose so much respect in just such few days? We live in exceedingly exciting days of the global village, no doubt about that. Initially, many Kenyans were uninterested in the war in Ukraine, but these few viral videos have suddenly convinced the majority here that this war is just nothing but merely racism against ethnic Russiia. These videos are also the one single reason why Vladimir Putin has become such a hot topic on in Nairobi.
My prayers are with you Russia!!!
James – I think the reality is that Eastern European states are further back on the removal of racism from their societies than the Western Europeans. This is nothing to do with superior people, merely that the Western European states had colonial empires and allowed immigration to occur from the 1950s onwards. That means that we have had large communities of African and Indian Subontinental descent who were born into this country, were educated in this country and grew up alongside white children. As a result, the vast majority of people brought up in UK cities since 1980 will have known nothing but growing up with those of coloured skin around them.
This was not so with the countries of the Warsaw Pact (of which Ukraine and Poland are two). There is still considerably more endemic racism there, simply because it takes a couple of generations to filter it out through familiarity.
Of course, we in Britain still have some racism, but far far less than the BBC et al would have you believe. It is now being used as a political weapon, nothing to do with serious racism whatsoever. The same as gender and sexual orientation have now been weaponised.
Economic sanctions as a tool against racism has not yet been tried on Europe, I do not think.
It will be interesting to see how that pans out.

Statement of the Joint Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine
(March 6, 2022) https://eng.mil.ru/en/news_page/country/more.htm?id=12411952@egNews
Today, as part of the humanitarian operation, the Russian Federation once again attempted to evacuate civilians from Mariupol, while the routes, time and place of meeting of the humanitarian convoy were worked out in detail and agreed with the Ukrainian side. Russia has fulfilled all the conditions for the creation of a humanitarian corridor.
We are forced to state that the Ukrainian side has not fulfilled its obligations.
According to the results of objective control, including the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, we found that no humanitarian convoys were formed in Mariupol.
Moreover, the Ukrainian authorities, using Internet resources and television, are actively misinforming the residents of Mariupol about the postponement of the evacuation, due to the alleged non-compliance by the Russian side with the promised silence regimes. This is a total deception and betrayal of their people. At the same time, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine fire at the positions of the Russian Armed Forces at the time specified for the humanitarian corridor.
All these provocations make it clear that the Kiev authorities deliberately evade the implementation of the agreements reached and continue their criminal actions to use the civilian population as a human shield.
In addition, to date, the Ukrainian side categorically rejects any interaction on the evacuation of a large number of people from Kharkiv and Sumy, where thousands of civilians, including foreign states, are being held.
It is reliably known that since the beginning of the special military operation, thousands of people, including foreigners, are ready to leave the territory of Ukraine and go to the Russian Federation, but the Kiev authorities flatly refuse to release them, fearing that the whole truth about the atrocities against civilians by neo-Nazis will become known worldwide.
This information is confirmed by 17 residents of Mariupol, who on March 5 managed to independently, by secret paths along the coast of the Sea of Azov, to leave the city occupied by nationalists.
They said that thousands of people want to leave the city along the humanitarian corridor in the direction of the east, towards the Russian Federation, but the Nazis are severely suppressing any attempts to do this, up to the use of weapons to kill.
The same orders of the Kiev regime have been forwarded and are unquestioningly carried out by neo-Nazis in all settlements of Ukraine, primarily in the cities of Kharkiv and Sumy, blocking the passage of refugees to safe places on the territory of the Russian Federation.
We do not understand why the Western “civilized world” does not react to all these humanitarian atrocities in any way.
In Mariupol, the neo-Nazis of the territorial defence battalions are once again using the tactics of terrorists to conduct combat operations. Hiding behind civilians as a human shield, they place heavy weapons in apartment buildings, while some residents are forcibly kept in houses.
Yesterday, during the evacuation of Indian citizens, nationalists, threatening physical violence with the use of weapons, intimidated foreign citizens who refused to evacuate along unsafe routes towards the western borders of Ukraine.
In order to demoralize civilians and foreigners, reports appeared in the Ukrainian media about the creation of camps by Kiev for citizens who do not support the current regime, as well as people who are not citizens of Ukraine. Radicals carry out ethnic cleansing, break into houses and apartments of the civilian population, check documents on the streets. All persons who do not have Ukrainian passports are taken away by the militants in an unknown direction.
All the necessary conditions have been created in the Russian Federation to welcome refugees. Rest rooms are equipped at checkpoints and temporary accommodation places, hot meals are provided, mobile medical centers are deployed, logistics for departure to the regions of Russia is organized, and their delivery to their homeland is provided for foreign citizens.
In the regions of Russia, temporary accommodation facilities have been increased to 9 thousand. All of them are ready to work individually with citizens arriving from Ukraine.
More than 163 thousand (163,218) people were evacuated from the zones of the special military operation, including 42,729 children, including 6,897 per day, of which 1,133 children.
18,356 units of personal vehicles crossed the state border of the Russian Federation, including 991 units per day.
Federal executive authorities, together with the subjects of Russia, from Kaliningrad to Kamchatka, various public organizations, patriotic movements have already prepared more than 13.5 thousand tons of humanitarian cargo.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Rosreestr and Rosrezerv, Tula, Moscow, Yaroslavl, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk and Rostov regions, as well as the Republic of Crimea have been most actively involved in this important work.
557 tons of humanitarian cargo have already been delivered to Ukraine, 80 humanitarian actions have been carried out in 123 settlements of the Zaporozhye, Kiev, Kharkiv and Kherson regions, as well as in the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, including 18 humanitarian actions carried out over the past day, during which 60 tons of basic necessities, medicines and food were transferred to the civilian population of the liberated areas.
As of today, 28 humanitarian actions have been planned and carried out in the Kiev region, Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, during which 323 tons of basic necessities, medicines and food have been transferred to the civilian population.

Hi Rhys Jaggar,
Thanks for you post.
I’ve read and re-read your rationalization of the cultural differences of West vs East Europeans when it comes to dealing with foreigners, especially dark skinned foreigners. And your argument makes a lot of sense.
After reading your text, the context in which you base your premise is also quite good.
But if all and sundry of the perpetrators caught on video committing racist acts were all, for example, rounded up and herded into a dock to face a judge and explain themselves, wouldn’t such a defense- don’t you think- automatically collapse against the solid wall of that ancient canon of law called “ignorance is no defense”? Kenyans were especially aghast at the crime of racism against refugees on EU soil because the EU and NATO countries for decades run the Kakuma Refugee camp in northern Kenya. Nairobi hotels feature year long bookings of their workers. Kakuma is one of the biggest, longest running refugee camps in the whole world. European fund raisers therefore boast years upon years of experience in raising billions of dollars, profiling, and documenting refugees in just this camp alone. Some of these billions are spent in Nairobi hotels that have been turned into one big year-long classrooms featuring endless seminars, conferences and trainings for refugees and human right activists in a bid to create a semblance of a paper trail expenditure of raised billions by European professionals in the refugee industry. Even the ever present UNHCR appears to be conspicuously missing in action at the Ukrainian/Polish border. In the recent Ethiopian conflict with Tigray, Africa was astounded by the incessant screams for “Humanitarian corridors”.
Therefore, even though your hope that one day the different races of the world will live harmoniously like the black and white keys of a piano shines off of your heart and text like a beautiful light, I invite you to consider a scenario involving a dock, a crime and the court of law of public opinion.
But thanks so much all the same.
I disagree that in Western Europe racism is ahead in the removal of racism. Racism is structural there. At most, it has had a mantle of political correctness thrown over it. Vast numbers of second and third-generation citizens with African ascent are still to see any change in terms of access to jobs other than menial ones. The same thing happens with emigrants both from South America and Eastern Europe. There are plenty of examples but one particularly interesting and sad is that of Ihor Homeniuk, an Ukrainian men who went to Portugal in search for work and was tortured then murdered by border patrol agents in a small room at the Lisbon’s airport. But if you go to the southern part of the country, you’ll also find Nepalese working in near slave conditions. How did they arrive there I can only speculate but in all likelihood human trafficking networks. Can you imagine this in a country with a recent past of huge emigration? But even within Western Europe, there is deep racism in the Nordic and Central European countries towards South Europeans. At some point during the 60s and 70s, the money that Portuguese emigrants would send home from France and elsewhere while being treated like subhumans made the most part of its GDP. Anyway, poor policies at home force people to search for a better life in other countries only to find hell and exploitation there. I can already imagine the vast numbers of menial jobs awaiting the Ukrainians that flight West rather than picking arms and fighting the nazis at home.
Hello John Doe,
Thanks for your post.
You’ve truly torn my soul to smithereen pieces with your heart wrenching narration of the haunting fate of Ihor Homeniuk, the Ukrainian job seeker. It is as sickening as the shocking exploitation by the rent cartels of the cities in Switzerland that were featured on Aljazeera a few months ago. As per this Aljazeera documentary which I’m sure is still online on aljazeera.com, indigenous citizen landlord cartels in Switzerland are deep into their ears in thoroughly exploiting the home shortages there to take advantage of poor Asian immigrants in an ongoing human trafficking scam right in the middle of Europe’s most advanced civilization, as authorities there look the other way.
The only fair conclusion that can be made here is that so late into the 21st century, both religion, and culture, as well as the highest possible type of education have all woefully failed to rid even the most so called advanced human beings of the world of their very worst malignant evil, raw barbarism and darkness of heart. The ultimate escalation of this sheer evil therefore is the ongoing Christian European Briton and Christian European German providing “lethal weapons” to Christian Ukrainian to kill his Slavic Novorrosian brothers. It’s truly sickening.
Like Prophet Elijah vs Baal’s apostles in that epic encounter in the Holy Bible, the yoke of exterminating this evil seems to have inexorably fallen on the shoulders of the Russian military.
Hate to intrude, but if anyone wants to watch/ see videos of the war in Ukraine, from a Russian perspective, go to R&U Video’s on YouTube.
Here’s one of a Ukie convoy taken out north of Kherson. Many more.
Hi James… what a truly superb letter!
I feel you and I are very much on the same page. You clearly are under no illusions as to the direct connection between global neo-colonialism and private cartel owned banking and central bank models, and how they rape and pillage so much of the modern world.
There have been few more tragic examples of this than what happened in Libya which reduced that country from being the second most successful African economy to a tragic social and economic wreck.
Another salient point I think we can both take note of is these new sovereign governance models that have just been spawned in the Donbas. They follow on from Crimea’s succession which was achieved as a result of the vote of a properly monitored referendum which voted 94% in favour of liberating the peninsular from the clutches of a U$ installed neo-Nazi lunatics.
These new infant republics are now autonomous self-governing protectorates that will no longer be subject to murderous random attacks from neighbouring neo-Nazi nut jobs… they can now begin to thrive socially/economically and be spared from perpetual victimisation and rape by the Anglo-American hegemon. This model could spread quickly to the remainder of the regions East of the Dnipro and perhaps even into the vast Western territories as well.
I am tremendously uplifted by the prospect of seeing Putin’s initiatives transform much of Ukraine from being a festering and tragically underperforming Frontierland into a thriving contributor to the global economy.
Who knows, these models could spread to other regions of the world as well. The key to all of this is not just liberation from the grips of the pilfering Hegemon, but by definition, it means liberation from the predatory racketeering private banking cabal as well.

Hi Col…’the farmer from NZ’… I’m in receipt of your compliments with lots of thanks, and I’m grateful as well to the link to your comment.
The grit of the Donbas republics as they held on all those years while waiting for Russia’s move deserves accolades. And you are very right as well as regards those parasitic banking cabals that have raped Africa with impunity.I look forward to peace in the Ukraine and wish Russia speed in accomplishing it.
James, Asanta Sana, Mzeh. Having grown up in Nairobi, and my second name is Jua, my brother born in Sengerema, I had to cry from your letter. Keep up the spirit. Brothers in arms. Shalom to all of you in my country.
🌻
Spirit Bird, Asante sana ndugu. Shalom na ubarikiwe sana
A.very nice and thougtful letter.
Those blacks that were mistreated in Europe last week is what broke the western propaganda veneer. Before that came out, even my wife didnt beleive me that ukraine was evil.party here and not russia.
Now they all understand who the real nazis are!
The prices have been grossly inflated in canada as well. I dont understand why we are comitting economic suicide in solidarity to some nazis. Im baffled as to how our governments are going with this, and at how stupid the people are for not seeing whats in front of them.
Cheers from the maritimes brother!

Hi Michel… I’m as puzzled as you are. Isn’t it interesting that some people are daydreaming of isolation Russia. Comrade, I’m happy to share this with you: Russia has not been abandoned, Andrei Raevsky is not alone, and the world will not isolate President Putin. The main problem with EU diplomats seems to be that they all seem to have a very big frame of mind, with no picture in it.
This is an amazing summarization of Africa’s present plight, along with a very good view of the racism towards blacks, Indians and many other coloured people in their flight from uronazis, only to suffer the same fate in Poland.
We must all remember the millions who died in the middle East, and entire countries destroyed; their refugees fleeing and these evil people treating them like garbage. Everybody saw the “shock &awe” , but heard only reports from the “embedded” journalists who only spoke of the effectiveness of the weapons of mass destruction. Their job was to show the world who rules the world.
None ever asked the question ” what caused it”. I guess the “sand niggers” themselves are to blame.
Never once did they mention the plight of those suffering, but now it is all about “white” inconvenience, and I say that we , all over this world, would be subject to this endless suffering, unless there is force to counteract this. That force can only come from Russia and China, and I think that it is coming.
P.S. PLease try to forward this to Russia, China (global- times), Africa, South America and all over the world. The article is simply that good.
Please include a request to include all imported good from these non-” international” community to Africa be at a price exempt from zio-western pricing. We in the west must pay for our evil. The time has come.
Hello Karl… I’m humbled by your compliments. I’m with you 100%, and thanks. So much. Lets take Iraq just as an example. Someone shows up with a phial of black stuff. What follows is untold death, the assassination of a president and the destruction of an entire country. Only for people to later turn around and say… we are so sorry, we made a terrible mistake, that intelligence was faulty and it was all a mistake!!!! Yet hundreds of thousands of people are dead as a result of a terrible intelligence blunder!!
Well, I wish I had contacts at the Moscow times. And the Global times, Sputnik, and RT. I guess it’d make publishing on those platforms easy. Does any one have the contacts of Pepe Escobar so that we can also get it published on Asia Times? Please if anyone has any idea of how we can get it published in any of the above or any other, kindly get in touch so I can also include my contacts so I can read more comments as regards what the world is thinking about Russia.
I am honored to receive a reply by you. Sadly I am just one human being in this evil world. I belong to no body, just a person that want to see the oppress get freedom. I will write to global times and urge them to publish this great article. The Chinese people will love it for they have a strong bond With Africa minus the few traitor’s that appear on MSM. Respect Karl. P.s. Born in the Caribbean, but 40 years living in police controlled Canada.
Excellent summary. Prez Putin said it will take Mwezi Moja, so 2.5 weeks to go. (Ex. Ol Joro Orok 1939 to 1965. Farming. Ex Nairobi, Gigiri till 1973. Senior Check Captain East African Airways). Have a good life. Kwaheri for now from Siam.
nails about all of it, gtgs from Kinoo
Hi Kamau… it’s absolutely delighting to meet a fellow Kenyan here just a couple of miles up the road from Westlands! Poa sana Bazu
Well said (and well composed) James ! I am an old whitey from South Africa and agree with you 100%.
Putin is one of the few sane, competent and compassionate leaders in the world.
can someone translate this to Russian and send it to Putin? for sure he will take notice of this.
You write “Yes, [a saintly Patriarch] does sound impossible today, especially when I look at “Patriarch Kirill” and his gang…”
Could you provide details? Which church organization do you belong to if not the Moscow Patriarchate?
The Orthodox Church
Jurisdictionally? Who’s your bishop?
One becomes a member of the family of God only by the grace of our heavenly Father. The only law of the Christian is his love of the good. The mature Christian loves his cross because he has already known the truth and God saints take up the crosses of others (yes, it is). Christians are not from this world, so the world tries to destroy them, but they also due to it grow like a tree planted by the water and they bear good fruit in due season. Life in this world is not in vain when our souls grow up in it. The highest stage of maturity is turning evil into good by sacrificing oneself. But there is no need to think immediately of bodily death. Yes, Jesus showed us a way to make our prayers real. Therefore, I wish for all of us that now in Lent we ourselves may be the sacrifice that will be fully accepted in heaven and allow the sources of God’s grace to be opened. Let not your heart tremble and be troubled, but let it praise the Lord, for He is generous and great is His name.
God bless you. God bless Russia.
Andrei, I have been following you blog for almost 8 years. This is the most stunningly moving piece I have read. You are not only a military strategist and a scholar, but a man of God and conscience as well. I bow to you.
I was meditating this morning and something ‘Uncharted Water’ wrote on this site a few days ago came to me in my meditation: “My eyes are weary from looking at this world, Lord. Open the eyes of my heart so I can see Thee.”
Remarkably beautiful words and a credit to what this site has become: Truly a Vineyard, as in WB Auden’s words:
In the nightmare of the dark
All the dogs of Europe bark,
And the living nations wait,
Each sequestered in its hate;
Intellectual disgrace
Stares from every human face,
And the seas of pity lie
Locked and frozen in each eye.
Follow, poet, follow right
To the bottom of the night,
With your unconstraining voice
Still persuade us to rejoice;
With the farming of a verse
Make a vineyard of the curse,
Sing of human unsuccess
In a rapture of distress;
In the deserts of the heart
Let the healing fountain start,
In the prison of his days
Teach the free man how to praise.
Peace, love and may the truth of God prevail in our feeble human hearts.
Thank you for this site and your dedication to the truth.
Saker dont give up. Not much to do about people. I have some friends that i try to avoid to talk about this crisis but when they start talking about the subject in a very russophobic way i cant help but i have to tell them they are wrong. I may lose some friends because of this but i do not think they are worrth to keep them anyhow. On another subject i ve just read in chinese media that polish and croatian mercenaries dont allow civililians to leave Mariupol.
It’s actually quite scary how most people just fall in line with the dominant opinion.
Sometimes I wonder if the NWO is actually right about humans; as a Christian, I don’t believe it, but sometimes, I do wonder.
Well, I always wondered how educated Germans accepted the Nazis during the Great Patriotic War.
After seeing the collective madness of anti-Trumpism, wokeness, the anti-trucker campaign, and now the hate-Russia campaign, I have learned a lot about human nature.
It’s indeed true that manufacturing an external threat is convenient: it dissolves internal conflicts. Maybe it’s to do with that: we can all come together by by agreeing to demonize the bête noire.
This truly is about manufacturing consent – consent to dehumanize and divide. All of what you listed above required the manufacturing of consent through targeted propaganda. Many of us are now aware of it, and actively pushing back. No one is alone anymore.
I can’t remember the name of it but I think it was the Stanford Experiment in the USA which showed how ordinary people capitulated to groupthink. I think Standford might be the experiment about conformity in which actors behind a screen acted being electrocuted when a member of the public was egged on to do so by one of the examiners. So, it’s the one about conforming to group opinion even if you know what you see with your own eyes is true. For example, 5 lines were drawn and the ‘plants’ in the room declared there were 6 and gradually, the subjects of the experiment would eventually cave into the pressure of the group.
There were a few of these Stanford groupthink experiments. No doubt the Planners are using this when controlling the Media. My answer to this evil is Psalm 37. In particular, Psalm 37:14
“14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.”
You may be thinking of Stanley Milgram.
“Stanley Milgram’s (1963) classic experiment on obedience to authority addressed a significant problem in society: When and under what conditions would destructive obedience, or defiance to the orders of an authority figure take place?
Milgram was interested in “researching how far people would go in obeying an instruction if it involved harming another person.” He was curious to understand “how easily ordinary people could be influenced into committing atrocities, for example, Germans in WWII.” (https://simplypsychology.org/milgram.html). Participants were 40 males, aged between 20 and 50, whose jobs ranged from unskilled to professional, from the New Haven area. Two rooms in the Yale Interaction Laboratory were used.
There were 30 switches on the shock generator marked from 15 volts (slight shock) to 450 (danger — severe shock), as each participant was told that they would be administering an electrical shock to the subject (though in reality no shock or pulse ever existed) for every incorrect answer.
____________________________________
Obedience to Authority
What Milgram found was that the level of blind obedience to authority depended on situational cues and the context, and in designing his experiment within that context he was able to discern specific situational determinants of obedience. The most important of these were the proximity of the victim, the proximity and legitimacy of the authority and the attribution of responsibility to the authority figure for any harm to the victim.
This study was important because it paralleled real life, on a small scale, such as the Nazi regime concentration camps, the My Lai massacre during the Vietnam War and the murders of unarmed civilians in Kosovo (Baron et. al., 2001, p.277). The study suggested that “under social pressure, many individuals will engage in behaviors that produce considerable distress in others and themselves ” (Miller et. al., 1995, p.4). Milgram wanted to ascertain under what conditions could normally law-abiding citizens commit harmful acts to innocent strangers, and the study had huge implications for social psychology and the study of human behavior.
In Milgram’s experiment, the experimenter informed the subjects that they were participating in a study to find the effects of punishment on memory and that their task as the teacher, was to administer a series of shocks on a shock generator (ranging from 15 to 450 volts) every time that the learner made an error in answering the teacher’s list of paired associates. In reality, no real shocks (other than a demonstration pulse) were given. The learner was an accomplice of the researcher and his responses were standardized on tape, played back accordingly with the level of shock generated.
At 75 volts, he begun to grunt and moan, at 150 volts, he demanded to be let out of the experiment, and at 180 volts he cried out that he could no longer stand the pain. At 300 volts he refused to answer any more questions and insisted that he be freed (Milgram, S., 1965, p.60).
Milgram introduced four experimental conditions, each one bringing the subject closer to the victim. In the first condition, the victim was placed in another room and could not be seen or heard, except at 300 volts he pounded on the wall, and, after 315 volts he no longer responded. The second was the same as the first but voice protests were introduced, and in the third condition the victim was placed in the room. The fourth condition involved the victim receiving the shock only if the subject placed his hand on a shock generator (p.61,62).
When hesitant, the instructor urged the subject to go on with the experiment with a number of prods, including: “Please go on,” “The experiment requires that you go on,” “It is absolutely essential that you continue,” and “You have no other choice; you must go on,” (p. 3).
What Milgram found was that 65 % showed total (although mostly hesitant) obedience to the experimenter and went all the way to the 450-volt shock level. Obedience was reduced with increasing proximity of the victim and the authority to the subject and with increasing severity of the shocks; there was a greater attribution of responsibility of harm to the legitimate experimenter.
The study was also replicated in a run-down office building to ensure that the conditions of the first setting at Yale University were not responsible for the results. The level of obedience dropped to 48 % but remained virtually unchanged in all other ways (Milgram, S., 1965, p.70). Because of the importance of the study to social psychology and real world events, numerous articles have been written building on, supporting or refuting the study.”

I have a copy of his work published in the early 1970s. Now seems like a good time to dust it off and review the Study.
AParadiseLost This is most excellent information. I have saved your links to read tomorrow as I’m compiling a sort of information dossier about this situation. I really appreciate you providing the information you have in such a comprehensive manner.
The last time I looked into that study there were some researchers who felt the study was flawed and it’s findings were doubtful.
Yes, more recent reviews of the experiment focused on how many of the research subjects actually refused to obey authority (despite heavy pressure), at least to go beyond a certain level of voltage.
I’ve seen on TV a couple of years ago, around year 2010 if my memory serves correctly, a french rerun of the Milgram experiment: the subjects were placed in TV studio, with live audience, while the learner was placed in an isolated room. The end result was an increase of the level of obedience from 65% to 80%.
That was the Milgram study done by psychologist Stanley Milgram at Yale University in New Haven, CT. It was turned into a TV documentary starring William Shatner as Dr. Milgram, ending in the self-aware realization that Milgram himself had failed his own study by allowing it to go on for as long as it did. This was a real life example of the premise of the book, Lord of the Flies. It also answers the question, How could good, civilized, Christian Germans in the 1930’s tolerate the rise of the Nazis? Or to put it in religious therms: There but for the grace of God go I.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milgram_experiment
JonLX interesting information especially about the real life example of the premise for Lord of the Flies. I can see how it answers the question of how Fascism took hold in Germany.
I’m not sure that LotF was based on the Milgram study, but it certainly rhymed, as Mark Twain would say. We are all capable of desperate things in desperate situations. It’s best to hold tightly to one’s beliefs and not to give into anger. Personally, I hope I am never in a situation where I have to choose.
“How could good, civilized, Christian Germans in the 1930’s tolerate the rise of the Nazis?”
Or much more pertinent and recent; How could good, civilized, Christian North Americans and Western Europeans in the 1990’s tolerate the rise of the NeoCon Zionists?
Jo Dominich – you are thinking of the Asch Paradigm and the experiments done by psychologist Solomon Asch of how people choose to conform to the majority opinion even when they know it is obviously wrong, as in the comparable length of 3 simple lines.
The Stanford prison experiment by Zimbardo was in how normal people can change given absolute power over other people. The Milgram Obedience to Authority experiment was at Yale and was about giving an electric shock to a subject when commanded to do so by an authority figure.
It ultimately comes down to Hannah Arendt’s observation that the greatest evil is done by nobodies’ who refuse to think.
“Evil comes from a failure to think. It defies thought for as soon as thought tries to engage itself with evil and examine the premises and principles from which it originates, it is frustrated because it finds nothing there. That is the banality of evil.”
‘The sad truth is that most evil is done by people who never make up their minds to be good or evil.”
Moses, Thank you so much for this clarification and for putting it in such a succinct way. It really is a clear statement about the current situation and also the Covid narrative which underpins evil in the unbridled pursuit of world domination by WEF leaders. Particularly, Arendt’s “Evil comes from a failure to think”. Isn’t that the truth?
More discouraging than scary. And yes, the NWO is mostly right about humans, but their recommended solutions are not.
The same kind of malaise occurred with the Covid racket, where I lost friends that called me “extremist” and said they thought it was “sad” that my judgment had been so degraded by “conspiracy theories.” But then, I had to admit that years ago, I “unfriended” someone who thought Ronald Reagan was a “well-intended man” and another who thought Colin Powell made an “honorable” decision wrt WMD warmongering at the UN preceding the Iraq invasion. There are times one must choose/lose friends based on common ground of morality (or lack thereof).
It is a fallen world, dear Andrei.
I live in the USA and I find that most people I talk to are not really interested in the Ukraine situation.
I have a Russian flag on my front door and so far no one has slung me any shit.
True. Most people don’t live in Twitter-land or spend their lives absorbing the mass media.
They probably think it’s an Ukranian flag
More likely French,at least the colours more or less match.
But not in the same order, though – France’s is blue-white-red from left to right, while Russia’s is white-blue-red from top to bottom. So the colors may be similar, if not the same, but the order might be noticeable to the sharp-eyed.
I removed the flags of Italy Syria and Russia and felt like a chicken traitor. But I am laying low as I can (in Kanada even) and I didn’t think that a Twitter item was worth the hassle over what might be automatically attributed to me today by some bot. I believe it is forgivable. That is the phenomenon of how ‘they’ have divided us.
You are certainly not alone, Andrei. I was born in the U.K. (sorry, it wasn’t my fault), I am part English, part Welsh, and I am fully supportive of the Special Operation being carried out by Russia. My two grandfathers fought against fascism during World War Two and I will too if necessary (fortunately Putin said he doesn’t need volunteers at the moment!). No person should be discriminated against and I for one, do not want to see fascism in the world. Those people who are attempting to alienate Russian people are a disgrace to Humanity – the only good fascist is a dead one.
Thank you.
Maybe you should take a good look at the racist and imperialist British Empire, and think about giving back all of the trillions that Britain has stolen from around the world. ‘Take the beam out of your own eye, first’, like Jesus said.
Hello! I am from Russia. Your comment caught my eye so I decided to reply. First of all, don’t apologise for your nationality! You are who you are and that’s great! Then I wanted to thank you for your words of support. I have read a lot of comments on different mass media today and I was pleasantly surprised that there are still people in the world who support Russia! Thank you for being reasonable! It gives me hope! (In case you want to ask, why I speak English pretty well – I am studying to be a translator. Hope I will find work in that situation! And hope I didn’t make any mistake in my speech, in other case shame on me!)
“… and I was pleasantly surprised that there are still people in the world who support Russia! ”

There are a few of us who can stand up to the BS onslaught. The Saker site (and its comment sections) is a major pillar for many — myself, included. All that needs to be done, to counter the “algae bloom” of mass formation psychosis, is keep the channels open and keep communicating the fact and truth as best as possible. Fact and discussion.
The West is in a serious situation — most of all because, as Malcolm X said, “the chickens are coming home to roost”. In general, we still have good governance systems (I write from Oz) but the degree of regulatory capture and ‘new-order’ weak government is eroding this quickly. We have whole younger generations who are poorly educated (one, a mother of a school aged child, asked me the other day how close Russia was to Canada). Many in the USA cannot distinguish between Austria and Australia.
It is hard to find a young (or even now a middle aged) person who is not covered in tattoo graffiti — and much of it poorly done with zero artistic merit. There are these little self-opinionated woke (and now disturbed) princess pushing their verbal weights around with the “cancel” agenda. I had to remind a front desk PA of a fencing contractor the other day that she was simply the stenographer and that I wanted to talk to the owner (to cancel the deal and get my deposit back) and that my views on certain C-19 BS (still running here) did not amount to attacking her. I was planning to visit their office and she “felt threatened”. These hysterical types instantly jump into this pat-response designed to make them look like victims etc. I got my money back. She actually shut up when I did get angry over the phone and gave her a reasoned lecture in a grandfather voice from the c. 66-year-old perspective. William Shakespeare nailed it in “Taming the Shrew.”
However, the most worrying thing is the change in the police standards that have crept in over a decade or so. Before they were generally large men with good uniforms and highly disciplined. Now they are all shapes and sizes (and genders) and clearly substandard. Many are tattooed and look and walk like night club bouncer types. Two came into the coffee cafe yesterday while I was there. One was swaggering and flashing off his guns etc. This is a very peaceful place. His body language and look reminded me of these Ukrainian mafia types we see sitting at the negotiating table. Police and official corruption is likely less than the 3rd world — but not much, and the trends are not good.
So, a long and drawn-out anecdotal reply, but one I hope helps you (and others) realise that it is a very complex situation. What Russia is doing on a smaller regional scale needs to be done on the larger scale by all of us — i.e., the removal of the criminal classes that have seeped into the public service and regulation domain. I worked in that space for 40 years and I noticed it really coming in during the late 1990’s in my workplace. And here we are with almost a full 180-degree definition of what is the norm and what “common wealth” means etc. There is a parasitic class that is killing the host. That they do not have a Jack Ma China or a Yeltsin Russia to plunder next is to source of their anger. There is a sullen class-war going on — but the language has been denuded of the words and concepts for the average people to stand up — just look at the recent trucker’s rebellion in Canada. There is a cultivated and increasingly enforced dumbness – muted with useless symbolic c-19 masks, but far deeper and more dangerous; a lack of critical thinking capacity in the people.
No one needs to hold up modern Russia as a model. But their demonstrated agency at the moment is about to trigger a mass Global South outrage event in my view. We are all sick of the hypocrisy and many who might have resisted deep change due to their own personal/national values and histories are, like myself, just standing back and letting it fall where it does. It can be rebuilt. Nothing can be done to save the old paradigm or corrupt systems, except start again on sound foundations and principles.
I have watched the Russian people get back up on their feet. I saw and felt those early Red-Square parades as the young men began to find their feet and courage. It was a soulful joy to see their aspiring young faces. And here they are now fighting the good fight today under good (if not great) leadership. Putin and his team are indeed the case study of how the west can de-criminalise itself and get back to pre-Glass Steagall Act (pre-Clinton) normality – not perfect by any means, but lower moral hazard. The sophisticated ‘sh_t’ that these unrooted classes throw at the Russian ‘barbarians’ is the same rubbish they throw at rough-diamond Australians (or red-neck deplorable Canadian truckers). What do you think “down under” refers to other than an ‘untouchable’ ablution metaphor?
We deal with this prejudice with much the same shoulder shrug as the Russians seem to do. In some areas it may well apply – remember many states/provinces here (but not all) were founded with the criminal class from the UK (later they were more of the political prisoner class than criminal) – but in general most people are just the normal average folk type. So, stand up, do your own thing, pay the price, and get on with living. There is always hope – even when Pandora opens the box. Just get on and build the world you want to live in. At the moment, to use a traffic metaphor, it is difficult and standing still is appropriate to get orientation and look for gaps – it is like we are standing on a small traffic island between a large multi-lane bi-directional freeway with the added complexity that the rules of the road (left side or right side) are unclear and being ignored.
To finish this ramble. Sure, there are people who are unfortunately very hostile to anything of different color, race, language, culture, etc. But there is also a lot of “stranger danger” fear that is being tapped by the usual suspects to manipulate the poorly educated and highly ignorant masses. This can be addressed with strategic information programs. Keep close to your core values and demonstrate what good self-reliant governance is about. Support the Global South to emerge and the Anglo-American sphere will become self-isolating. And in this isolation, there will be less opportunity to project their shadows onto external others. Use Singapore — a government oligarchy that has never changed since post-colonial 1950’s and regularly jails the Opposition — and where the government owns/runs almost every major company such as telecom, airlines, news, etc). Unfotunately, that department store with an airport is the vision for much of poor SE Asia (e.g., Sri Lanka). It is an opportunity for the Russian way to show alternatives.
What the USA hegemon fears most is the awakening to the fact that their con-artist deceit; and bankrupt fiat “QE-forever” paper IOU will no longer work to control the world. But far deeper, I suspect there is a well of existential anxiety that what they see in a diminished post-ww2 ‘great britain’ and a multi-ethnic Russia on their knees after the USSR collapse, is their own future. Demographically, the trend in the USA is towards a Spanish speaking future. So, stand up, do your thing (respecting espoused core values) and don’t give a flying-f_ck what others think. That IS the traditional way down-under – except now, we have no sane religious bedrock to provide that “something real” and solid base to fall back on. As it gets more “all woke up” there will be more hysteria. Shock therapy seems to be the only way forward. And if Russia pulls off this invasion and cleans up the Ukraine then many will have to face the facts and compare it with the past American/Nato efforts. Facts on the ground are the antidote.
My fear is the Russian leadership will be seduced into an early compromised soft-landing that will subvert this desirable eventuality — i.e., a real wake-up shock in the minds of the sleeping westerners of normally good but ill-informed intentions. And thus the fungal spores of fascism will be left to fester and the masses will be left to sleep and dream their MSM-induced fantasies that are dangerously divorced from the way Nature works.
” The Russian Orthodox Tsar will be feared even by the antichrist himself.
During the times of the antichrist, Russia will be the most powerful Kingdom in the world. But the other countries—except for Russia and the Slavic lands—will be under the power of the antichrist and will experience all the horrors and torments described in Holy Scripture. Russia, repent! Glorify God with rejoicing, and sing to Him: Alleluia. ”
Saint Lawrence of Chernigov
Yes, but for that to happen the Orthodox Church needs to become the conscience of the Tsar and the nation again.
In Islamic eschatology, the Orthodox Christians will be allied with the true Muslims in battling and defeating the hordes of the false Messiah. The only Orthodox Christians are from Russia. The End Times has already begun. The next phase will be the conquest of Constantinople (Istanbul) by the Orthodox Christians. When Syria is attacked from Turkey’s side and Russians are in Syria (as per the eschatological view), Constantinople will be under Orthodox Christian control in the near future. When Israel displaces the West (USA) as the prime power in the world, which is soon to become a reality, when barefoot Arabs have tall towers and rich beyond imagination, the Beginning has occurred.
Russia has an elemental role to play in subjugating the forces of the false Messiah. Putin is the leader who will be instrumental in bringing about this change. This is unfolding before our eyes.
You are not alone.
(and special thanks to your hardworking mods — mods, this is not an attempt to butter you up; back to work!)
Thanks again Saker for you spot on analysis.
I will add that it will be interesting to see how Western populations react to the bifurcation of the world economy and the effect of restrictions on Russian exports on world prices of energy, wheat and other raw materials.
I for one do not believe that the USA population (or EU and Canadian populations) are prepared to pay $150 to fill up their vehicles or $10 for a loaf of bread. Yet these prices (and scarcity) will definitely have an impact on the USA population’s collective wallet. The USA government long ago stopped representing the common citizen’s interest; instead, it represents the interests of capitalists and billionaires. It is run on their behalf and USA politicians finance their campaigns based on funding (bribes) provided by the wealthy. Over the last 4 decades (Reagan on), the middle class has shrunk in the USA. Some have moved upward but the vast majority have moved downward. One should seek out and watch the film “Falling Down,” a 1992 movie about the turmoil in the life of one American (played by Michael Douglas – son of Kirk Douglas) caused by economic dislocation. Multiply this by millions and you can see the future of the USA….
And no, the strategic reserve will not save the common American’s pocketbook.
I found this discussion between Grayzone’s Anya Parampil and Moscow-based international affairs analyst and former USA military member Mark Sleboda informative – especially in regards to the end of the unipolar moment and how the bifurcation of the world economy will take place – with regional internets, a trading bloc that can no longer do business with the West but instead trades (effectively) between nations excluded from Western trade, and other aspects related to the intervention in Ukraine. Sleboda sees a global depression ahead.
https://thegrayzone.com/2022/03/04/war-ukraine-unipolar-world/
You read that right – a GLOBAL DEPRESSION. Like I say to my friends here in the USA, one who even ghosted me over the points I was making, was all of this worth it simply to make Ukraine a part of NATO? At this point, with the exception of gas price increases (which will go much higher IMO), the total ramifications of what is happening are yet to be felt here. However, what this means for the USA stock market, grocery prices, the price to drive vehicles, and the political fallout has not been discussed in or on the USA corporate media. But it will be discussed across the dinner tables throughout the USA, especially as unemployment rises and the price of gas goes through the roof.
The US is a zombie, it just doesn’t realize it yet. The US economy has been on life support since 2008, kept alive by financial black magic, but still terminal. Hence, the Great Reset. The last decade or so was supposed to be their chance to finish looting everything and cash out before ushering in our transhumanist dystopian future.
Now with the Great Decoupling, the AUKUSEU will suffer the Great Impovershiment as the dollar loses reserve currency status, and the imperial citizens learn that they can no longer make anything, can no longer afford energy, and no longer have access to the resources of Eurasia, Latin America and Africa. Thus, the West will find itself back in the same situation it was in 1000 years ago–poor, backwards, and irrelevant to the rest of the (now) wealthy world, trapped behind an iron curtain of it’s own making.
The US is almost certainly going to devolve into partisan fighting and civil war. Too much division has been sown, too much distrust, and despite the universal hatred of Russia and China, Americans hate one another even more. Europe, historically, has had no reservations about fighting itself over minor ethnic/religious/cultural divisions. Plus, this genius idea of importing Africans and Arabs to fight in Ukraine will gift Europe never ending blowback. I mean they’re seriously importing ISIS and Boko Haram types. They’re giving them tons of weapons and money. And then they’re pointing them towards Russians. I can imagine these types are going to find it is much more profitable to run away from the front and terrorize Europe with their new found weapons. Commercial air transit is probably dead in Europe now as Manpads are flooding the the theater. I mean are they going to fire on Russian aircraft, giving away their positions and knowing they’re going to die, or are they going to find a lucrative business in say threatening to commercial flights in Western Europe for money? Inviting and arming African and Arab terrorists in Europe is one of the most insane ideas these folks have thought of yet. We’re going to see migrants going to the opposite direction, with Europeans trying to cross into the north African desert just to escape (ditto with Americans paying cartel coyotes to smuggle them into Mexico, as they clearly can’t go to totalitarian Canada).
We’re at the very, very early stages here. The pain of the self-imposed sanctions, not to mention the inevitable Russian counter sanctions are going to shock the pampered North Americans and Europeans. Add in the equally insane provocations in Taiwan, and when China makes their move, our utter dependence on China will shatter the people of the West’s notions of exceptionalism.
So the people are still slumbering, not even aware they’re zombies yet. My attempts at trying to explain to people their predicament is wasted breath. The spell hasn’t been shattered yet, and so the hypnosis continues. By year’s end we’re looking at a vastly different world.
The Mother of all Depressions in the West is the one thing that might save us on the climate front. The UN Environmental Program (UNEP) said in its annual 2019 report that carbon emissions had to be reduced by 7.6% per year every year between 2020 and 2030 to give us a 50% chance of staying under 1.5 degrees Centigrade. We actually achieved that in 2020 because of Covid, but now we’re increasing emissions again.
Carbon emissions rise and fall with GDP. By far the highest per capita carbon footprints are in the gas guzzling, McMansion heating USA. Europe, the next highest, has a per capita carbon footprint roughly half the U.S. A depression that knocked 15-20% of GDP would help a lot. While GDP measurement was not a thing in the 1930s, current estimates are that about 50% of American GDP was lost at the depth of the Great Depression, and the Great Recession saw a little less than a 5% drop, so this perfect storm of Covid and sky high commodities prices could do the trick.
And if Putin sends his natgas to China so that China can quickly get rid of coal, that will also help tremendously.
The West’s decadence, especially of our beloved billionaires and their Professional Management Class lackeys, will kill us all and most higher life on the planet if they are not stopped. They show no indication that they’re ever ready to give up their 5,000 sq. ft houses (talking about the PMC-ers here) and their trips to Tuscany or Paris. The billionaires and the politicians they own fly around in private jets. It’s madness. The Pharaohs didn’t live like this, and they thought they were gods.
Two concurrent events offer some hope that change will come from outside: Putin’s invasion and Xi’s Covid policy. The former will demonstrate that it’s possible to challenge the Empire. The latter shames the United States which will pass a million Covid deaths next week, the highest in the world. The U. S. life expectancy, after dropping several times in the last decade, is now below China’s because of Covid. While I wouldn’t enjoy living under CCP rule, there’s some sign that they at least care about their people. In the U. S., we care only for money and keeping the bars and restaurants open.
Putin’s war and strategy look like a win for the Earth, and hey, it’s the only planet we’ve got.
The US economy has been on life support full time since 2001 and intermittently for decades before that.
Kansan: You can also count on the next pentagon budget sucking up anything good that should be going to the people. They are now talking 800 billion for the next budget, and of course under congress this is the starting #. This of course does not include the CIA<NSA or Veterans So a few more bridges will fall, a few more trains will crash, schools will become even more useless and healthcare will get much worse. For the environmentally concerned folks the carbons emitting will go up as the pentagon budget goes up. The environmentalist never consider the largest polluter in the world though! The pentagon is never ever mentioned. The US military is the largest land based long term polluter, as well every base ends up being a toxic waste sight. The citizens of several states with large bases are getting sick from toxic water, the US government has to be taken to court to maybe possibly get relief
The big problem is that the inflation will destroy profits leading to bankruptcies and supply chain collapse. Subsistence life will become the norm, and hundreds of millions of armed American’s will not like it at all. I think if you remove all the zombie scenes from The Walking Dead it would make an excellent instructional video series for what lies ahead in America.
Andrei the righteous had lived by the Faith… Habakkuk. Justice and Faith must then be our food. All things work together for good to those who love righteousness in faith.
The Lord directed me to read the book of Habakkuk.
When I read chapter 2, I could feel He was going to speak to me. He took me back to chapter 2 starting in verse 2.
What He spoke to me is in italics.
Habakkuk 2:2
“Then the Lord answered me and said:”
“Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”
He said to me, I have a warning for all who will listen!
3 “For the vision is yet for an appointed time;”
The time of judgment is now! Do you not see?
“but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.”
You are at the end, for I cannot lie.
“Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come,”
Be patient My words are true, all I have spoken will come to pass in your days.
“It will not tarry.”
When the event comes, you need to be ready beforehand, for I have spoken it to you!
4 “Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him;”
I resist the proud but give grace to the humble.
“But the just shall live by his faith.”
I AM the author and finisher of your faith, by Me you live.
5 “Indeed, because he transgresses by wine, he is a proud man, and he does not stay at home.”
I say be not drunk with wine, but be filled with the new wine of My Holy Spirit and humble yourself before Me in the secret place.
Because he enlarges his desire as hell, and he is like death, and cannot be satisfied,”
This speaks of the evil one, who will not ever stop his killing and destruction until I stop him.
“He gathers to himself all nations and heaps up for himself all peoples.”
The whole world system is controlled by the evil one. How can good come from it?
6 “Will not all these take up a proverb against him, and a taunting riddle against him, and say,”
The nations know that the righteous Judge is coming. They are your jury and accuser.
“‘Woe to him who increases what is not his—how long?”
No man knows the day or the hour…for I will come like a thief in the night!
“And to him who loads himself with many pledges’? 7 Will not your creditors rise up suddenly?”
Do you not see? The land who was once the richest of all nations, has become the biggest debtor ever! O Babylon! You have been warned over and over and over!
But in that day no warning will be given!
“Will they not awaken who oppress you? And you will become their booty.”
You have poked the bear and angered the dragon and My shield is no longer in front of you.
They will take your sons and daughters and they will ravage the your wives in front of you.
8′′ Because you have plundered many nations, all the remnant of the people shall plunder you, because of men’s blood”
I will not be mocked, you will reap what you have sown, no more will you be called the land that I have blessed! For their blood is upon your hands.
“And the violence of the land and the city, and of all who dwell in it.”
War will come to your shore! Peace and safety will be no more!
9 “Woe to him who covets evil gain for his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of disaster!”
O evil king! You see the calamity coming but you warn not your people?
Neither shall you be saved in The Day of the LORD!
10 “You give shameful counsel to your house, cutting off many peoples, and sin against your soul.
This shall be the judgment upon this land, you shall be tired, poor, yearning for freedom, a wretched refuse, that is homeless and tempest tossed because your lamp has gone out!
11 “For the stone will cry out from the wall, and the beam from the timbers will answer it. 12 “Woe to him who builds a town with bloodshed, who establishes a city by iniquity!”
I say, Woe unto you Babylon the great! You shall fall and great will be your fall! For you were the highest of nation but will be made the lowest! You have become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
13 “Behold, is it not of the Lord of hosts that the peoples labor to feed the fire,
and nations weary themselves in vain?”
I the Lord do not wish for men to only work for those things that moth and rust corrupts for they will be burned up in the Day of the Lord.
I say store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, that last forever.
14 “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord,
as the waters cover the sea.”
Every eye shall see Me coming on the clouds! Every knee shall bow to me and acknowledge
that I AM LORD, for My glory will be seen in all the earth. Some will fall down in worship but most will fall down in shame, disgrace and lament.
Today is the day of salvation, mercy and grace will be given. No man is promised tomorrow!
Call upon the name of Jesus in repentance of your sins and you will be saved!
“12 Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed, who establishes a city with iniquity!”
I say: Woe to you, Babylon the great! You will fall and great will be your fall! For you were the highest in the nation, but the lowest will be made! You have become the abode of demons, and the lair of every unclean spirit, and the hiding place of every unclean and detestable bird.
For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich with the abundance of her delights.”
The Germanic peoples formed the Holy Germanic Empire, and eventually formed New Babylon, the Zionist Masonic Anglo-Saxon Empire. Northern Europe and UK. Same secular political heritage. They are the 7 eyes:
1 USA
2 United Kingdom
3 canada
4 Australia
5 New Zealand
6 Germany (black sheep of the family, and now dominated)
7 Southern Brazil (deformed eye, currently schizophrenic)
All are one unit.
Russia is another formation, and China is also another reality. Therefore, we have on the planet a war of millenary political factions. Babylon 2.0 is dying, but it doesn’t want to fall!
Always remember your words “So there I was trying to figure out – why such an outpouring of kindness for a total stranger (and an anonymous one at that!) and such an outpouring of rage against the society we live in. And then, I think that I figured it out.
The deserts are filled with submarines (but they are breaking free!)”
And when i read your blog and the comments I feel less alone.

I got a 404 error message for daring to try your link. So much in the way of fake news after seeing every “newspaper” in France laden with stories of brave Ukies, then thousands of people demonstrating in EU capitals for the Ukies. If only the real news from the Russian success in halting the mayhem actually gets out and is not overwhelmed as you warned by “Russian murders of innocent Ukie kids”psyops as has been done so far.
M K Bhadrakumar has a post on the dilemma of Biden now with the JCPOA agreement near possible settlement BUT sanctions MUST be lifted to get Iranian oil to flow and reduce the huge increase in prices suffered by the USA. FM Lavrov has insisted on clear passing of the agreement but this conflicts with Biden’s promises at home. I’ll try to get link, but all of this Indian diplomat’s posts are useful.

Excuse this comment before reading the article.
I’m viewing bbc news, it brings bile to me but it’s necessary to observe the extent of the propaganda.
It is full on times 100. Horrible. The bleating commentary is intolerable.
A BBC reporter based in Washington reported that a US ‘lawmaker’ compared Ze to Churchill.
Beyond a joke, but Winston WAS famous as a drunk.
Yes, Churchill liked the odd drink or two. I always believed the narrative, that he was a great wartime leader (which he was), and WW2 was necessary to defeat Hitler …. I am a student of the period from the end of WW1 to WW2.
However, I have begun to question if WW2 was necessary or indeed inevitable. Just as I question if the war with Japan was inevitable and necessary….. murky topics, I concede.
Perhaps there is more to the comparison of Ze to Churchill than we think
Well, Winston Churchill also faked paintings in classical style – , he wrote, spoke, influenced, bullied, and drank – he was a savant.
he also wrote this: zionism vs bolshevism
“in which he claimed Jews were responsible for the communist revolutions across Europe in the early 20th century along with the associated subversion and undermining of nations because they viewed the elimination of national borders as necessary for global equality…”
Virtually everything in the conventional story of WWII is highly distorted, at best.

Today I went to a Cafè in my little town in Italy for a quick espresso, my eyes had a look on headlines of various newspapers there on the desk available to customers…. Repubblica, Corriere Della Sera, La Stampa and others. In spite the fact I’m used at the quantity of crap these bogrolls (and TV programs) pile up every day, I was nearly to vomit. Stories about children killed, women raped and abused, civilian facilities hitted on purpose, mentally insane Putin compared to Hitler and so on. Propaganda at best. I imagine that press during fascism in Italy was not worst than this. My only hope is that manipulation has already reached such a grotesque level that more and more people is beginning to ask some questions. In the meantime, today diesel is 1.95€ and gasoline 2.05€. Heating houses is a rich people privilege. There is a story in Italy about that husband that cut his dick to hurt his wife….
James, Thank you for this brilliant letter. It is full of insight and truth. The truth will prevail and I do believe God is with Putin.
Hi Jo Dominic, thanks for your warm compliment. I have just said a little prayer for Russia. I’m sure that Russia’s win in Ukraine will change the global systems completely. I also do strongly feel that Russia’s accelerated partnership with Africa is also set to be the game changer of the century.
James, I say a prayer everynight for Putin and Russia. I’m glad I’m not the only one!
Ho molta fiducia. Ciao.

Do not despair, today we went to Piazza Santa Croce in Florence, but it was not the usual protest demonstration. The speakers on stage and the audience, myself included, were there to re-build people’s confidence in themselves. Perhaps we are witnessing an epochal change. A new awakening of Humanity. I have a lot of confidence.
I know the feeling , its as if all my friends are blind and arn’t even willing to show any interest in the world outside US . Yet I don’t feel alone just saddened at the apathy and ignorance that abounds.

A few thoughts/updates of my own:
-I think so far in many respects, we are seeing that Putin really stuck to his word and was not joking when he called this a ‘special operation’ rather than war/invasion or various other terms. Russia doesn’t have entire marketing departments crafting the launch narratives of their campaigns like U.S. does, so as such, when we hear these terms like “Intervention” etc in the U.S., they are ladened with extra a lot of superficial marketing meaning and neuro linguistic programming meant to convey some misleading deception. In the Russian land of realpolitik, I believe Putin means exactly what he says. And so, what we’re seeing is the Russian Forces behaving more like a “special operation” (which combines various humanitarian pursuits as well as military objectives) rather than a “total war”.
Unfortunately this mission ethos somewhat privileges the lives of Ukrainians over the lives of Russian servicemen, and we’re seeing that with inordinate losses on the Russian side (by inordinate, I simply mean much more than would have normally been the case if Russian was able to treat the operation more as a real military conflict/invasion rather than the dichotomous stance of humanitarian/combat mission). Now, many of you will cry foul and say this is a big mistake on Russia’s behalf, but I posit that would be a misreading of history, and the longer geostrategic/geopolitical ramifications of this entire conflict. Behaving that way would give the biggest immediate dopamine burst of “rah rah we’re winning and slaughtering the enemy” but would sacrifice many important long term objectives in establishing a Ukrainian/Russian unity that would be a major bulwark against NATO aggression in the future. In short, Russian troops are in some ways acting as missionaries, there to ‘convert’ enemy forces, while ‘turning the other cheek’ to the slaps they themselves are receiving. Russia’s unique position in the world as an object of focused enmity by the entire Western world unfortunately necessitates for Russia to go to extraordinary lengths to accomplish its own geopolitical aims. Russia is charged with fulfilling a Sisyphean task because it lacks the luxury of the global media/cultural juggernaut on its side. With that said, there is no way around the fact that this campaign will incur heavy losses due to the nature of having to play these twin contradictory roles.
-As to Russia’s progress. I can tell many/most commentators here and elsewhere have never tracked a real-time war before. Time has a way of compressing events so that past wars always seem quick and successful in hindsight compared to the trudge of something occurring now. But you must compare Russia’s current progress with any previous “successful” smaller scale war. For instance many people have been posting the successful “lightning campaign” of Germany against Greece in 1941. https://twitter.com/arisroussinos/status/1499903571873222661
This campaign utilized an overwhelmingly larger force (by some 200k++ men) on the German side, and still took 2 weeks to conquer a much smaller, defeated country, many of whose own forces were tied up elsewhere.
And I shouldn’t have to mention that Greece’s total area is 131km2 which is actually the exact amount of territory that Russia has seized in the first several days of the Ukr campaign. Yet it took Germany 3 weeks to seize this.
Similarly, I’ve mentioned before the German invasion of Poland likewise took 2 weeks. And it doesn’t need to be said that they didn’t pause for “humanitarian efforts” like Russia is doing.
More recently, in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war, it took India 2 weeks to capture the small area which is now Bangladesh.
Already compared ad nauseam, we know it took 3 weeks for U.S. to capture Baghdad and this was AFTER a massive “shock and awe” campaign which occurred first and leveled everything in the country. Yet it still took their ground forces 3 weeks to just get to the capital, and this was amongst many reported shortages where U.S. troops only had hours of food/fuel left at one point (as reported by NYTimes) and units were captured (remember her? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jessica_Lynch)
-The next thing I want to talk about that relates to the very topic. This bogus idea of “air supremacy” that is being parroted by the U.S. This term is a fake canard created by the U.S. military to describe U.S.’s doctrine over 3rd world countries that have almost no anti-air capabilities. It is a marketing term created by the highly paid defense contracting marketing teams to bolster U.S. exceptionalism and the image of military superiority.
Here is a fact you weren’t told: ‘Air Supremacy’ doesn’t exist. It’s a fake term. It is LITERALLY and objectively impossible to completely secure the skies over any nation which operates at the minimum: ManPads in large quantity. There is physically no possible way to root out and kill every soldier (thousands upon thousands of them) who scurry about between buildings and under trees with ManPads. The U.S. has in fact NEVER faced an adversary who not only had ManPads in large number, but was in fact being fed them by the tens of thousands on a weekly basis from other 1st world super power nations.
If the U.S. was the one fighting against Ukraine right now, there would be no ‘Air Supremacy’. Sure the Ukrainian air force would mostly be destroyed just as it is currently, but if a nation was still supplying ground forces with ManPads there is simply no physical way that the U.S. airforce would be able to avoid them. The only way U.S. has neutralized such threats in the past on a minimum basis, is by simply operating with a doctrine where any sighting or even rumor of a ManPad would be met with a response of leveling the entire area. For instance, if scouts spot a ManPad in an apartment building, the U.S. would level that entire apartment building, killing all civilians inside, and deal with the aftermath afterwards. And in fact the global arm of its media juggernaut would cover this fact up and anyone releasing evidence would be jailed (cough cough, Assange). I have stated this in other threads: when U.S. went up against militaries with even a modicum of air resistance, they have had massive losses. The U.S. airforce in Korea and Vietnam lost 1000++ aircraft each. In fact, the last time I mentioned this, a commentator who was a pilot in Vietnam of the F-104, said that they lost easily over 1,000++ total planes in Vietnam and probably way more than that. Stop believing military industrial complex marketing propaganda: true “air dominance/superiority” does not exist. It only exists in shades of gray, i.e. “relative” dominance. Russia currently has relative dominance to the extent that the vast majority of heavy/visible Ukrainian air/anti-air assets are knocked out, but like I said, you will never fully eradicate ManPads or even smaller systems. And just yesterday a new Turkish plane is said to have delivered possibly dozens of new TB2 Bayraktar drones to Ukraine via a flight to Poland so, you can have “air dominance” in one week, and the next a batch of new deliveries recalibrates the calculus.
Unfortunately Russia doesn’t have the luxury of being able to level every apartment block in every Ukrainian city where ManPad operators are working out of. It is a confirmed fact that pretty much EVERY single image of apartment block destruction you’ve seen so far in Kharkov, Kiev etc was done by Ukrainian forces. Russia is strictly avoiding any such civilian infrastructure damage. Several videos have been released since yesterday showing residents of Kharkov saying that it was Ukrainian forces who are shelling their apartment buildings. And I’ve seen another report yesterday that geolocated and triangulated footage of other damaged apartment blocks, showing that it could have only been Ukrainian forces that shelled them from the vectors and trajectories implied in the damage. Also, when a “Russian column” is seen to be destroyed such as the infamous incident in Bucha outside of Kiev, you can see widespread destruction of all the buildings around that column, which proves that Ukrainian forces are using mass inaccurate MLRS Grad fire to try to shell Russian supply trucks, and are hitting apartment buildings everywhere.
So, like I said, it is impossible to completely root out anti-air capabilities in this way without committing to a “total war” and the genocide/annihilation of all civilian life. This is why you will continue to see Russian air losses unless Russia figures out ways to be extremely trick/sneaky about using its air power but it’s pretty much impossible to avoid, without simply the cessation of using air power.
Of course, theoretically Russia has several systems that are said to attach to aircraft and can repel ManPad fire, like the (I believe it’s called) “President” system, which is said to detect fired ManPads from the ground and neutralize them. But I have no information on how widespread this system is and/or how truly effective it is. Logic tells us that in real warfare scenario, no system is completely effective as there are limits to every system’s sensors and angles of detection abilities and things of that nature.
Of course, one could compare what happens today with historical events. But to compare 1941 Greece with the Ukraine of today as a theater of military operations is not correct in my opinion. Greece is very mountainous and hilly (higher mountains than the Ukraine) and in 1941 did not possess a very efficient road network. There were practically no railways and if the Germans had had a large fleet of fast, small vessels (which they did not), they would have advanced even more rapidly. The Ukraine is better suited for major military operations because it is much less mountainous and there is an excellent road network and ditto railways.
Coulda/shoulda/woulda. I can easily nullify the advantages you list with other advantages Ukraine currently has such as the entire military industrial complex of NATO funding and bankrolling it on daily basis. Furthermore, you conveniently leave out the fact that I noted many different conflicts including Germany’s invasion of Poland which similarly took weeks, and Poland as I understand is a quite flat country with no “mountains” as you say Greece has. Also I should mention that Germany had a 300k advantage of men in their invasion of Greece, whereas Russia is technically currently disadvantaged in man power as they have only committed anywhere from 50-80k men so far, while the Ukraine armed forces has anywhere between 150-200k. So there are many asymmetrical things we can compare, but the bottom line of my thesis still stands: which is that in NO modern conflict has an entire nation been captured in “several days” and yet for some reason detractors of Russia’s current military action expect Russia to have “captured Ukraine in 2 days” which is physically impossible.
Yes, Poland is relatively flat apart from some mountainous South-Eastern parts parts bordering Slovakia. Maybe not quite as flat as Ukraine. There are also large tracts that consist of woodland with many lakes and swamps, mostly in the North-East.
Regarding large numbers of MANPADS, Yugoslavia in 1999 had them, and Serb Republic in Bosnia in 1994-1995 was using them as well. I know that after the war in Serb Republic SFOR/NATO destroyed thousands of Strela-2-M systems. These were domestically produced before the war and generally were a nightmare for NATO.
The same destruction of portable systems happened in Serbia after 2000, where NATO/EU were paying some small amount of € for every Strela destroyed.
Due to relatively large amounts of portable MANPADS, NATO airplanes in 1999 were mostly flying at safe altitudes not reachable by these systems.
I see that Russian aircrafts are flying at low attitudes but I do not see reports on attacking targets masively from higher attitudes? I suppose this is due to some Ukie air defence systems still being operational? I understand Ukie still have some S300 and possibly BUK or similar systems deployed. These systems can detect and attack aircrafts at higher altitudes, and depending on the system, at larger distances (i.e. S300). Flying low, the aircrafts are relatively safe from these systems but then prone to MANPADS. I understand that Russian aircrafts have capability to detect and attack targets from higher altitudes but yet it is not safe for larger degree of such enagements.
Is this reasoning correct? If not, why are we not seeing some massive airforce being used?
Of it is used, a lot, its just not reported in the West.
The Ukie air defenses are gone
Russia has air supremacy
It is just simply not reported in Zone A.
Andrei
The problem is it’s impossible to determine the proportion of how many planes are flying low vs. high because of course the ones flying 30k feet will not be filmed, whereas the low ones are shown on video so we are biased in thinking “oh they must be flying all low missions.” It’s safe to say for various reasons there are both types of missions being regularly flown but it’s impossible to tell for certain through the fog of war without direct confirmation of MoD or something, which will never happen.
And of course we know NATO indiscriminately bombed civilian infrastructure in the Yugoslavian war; so of course it’s possible to have a semblance of ‘air superiority’ if and only if you slaughter thousands of civilians as NATO did and are willing to bomb any apart block, etc, which shows any evidence of housing a ManPad on it.
Not to mention the absolute disproportionate number of force NATO used, something like 1,200 aircraft against a tiny country that is like 1/10th the size/population of Ukraine. And we know even so, U.S. still lost several stealth planes and many others. https://www.thedrive.com/the-war-zone/37894/yes-serbian-air-defenses-did-hit-another-f-117-during-operation-allied-force-in-1999
Some additional but unrelated comments.
Looking at these numbers about Uki army, RF and LNR/DNR forces in play… I remember in Bosnian conflict we had (my city was the base of) 1st Krajina Corps which at some moments numbered 50-70k people… Army of Republic of Srpska, of which it was the strongest unit, had cca between 150-200k soldiers.. all this in a state/entity that had maybe 1,2-1,4 milion of inhabitants. These numbers are comparable with numbers on some sides we see in the conflict (of course one of many differences is degree of professional vs reserve army staff).
Even 25 years after the war we still do not have exact, well structured and accessible data on numbers, history and structure. We know that during 1992-95 war the army lost some 20000 men. Of course, the vast majority of staff were mostly reservists, but anyways this army was engaged against Croatian/Bosniac forces in some 1500-2000km front line and was under constant surveliance by NATO planes, which later in 1994/95 engaged directly to support Moslems/Bosniac and Croat forces. Since the inception we were under broad UN/EU sanctions and even some time during 1994 we were under sanctions by Serbia. Keep in mind that at that time Serbian government was even sanctioning its own people fighting for survival. Nowadays they sanction Serbs in Kosovo for some imaginary EU-related delusions and agreements which are respected only by Serbian state.
Later looking at Yugoslavia in 1999, YU army had some 120-150k of active staff, depending on in what degree we count the police and various units, which were also involved in the conflict and targeted by NATO. You are right to say >1000 aircrafts attacked that army and the country for 78 days, unrestricted, but in the end the most that they could do is to murder civilians and destroy civilian infrastructure. Military was left nearly intact. This is one of extraordinary achievements that YU army and people can be proud of, the capability to resist large-scale agression and to keep one’s forces in good shape, highly motivated and effective under diverse classes of adversities. The most harm to military was done after the war, by domestic 5th column and regime installed to support EU/US interests, which is in power for some 20 years.
This conflict and operation remind me on these days, when I was kid… first to war in Bosnia/Croatia, then to Serbia, where I was attending school at the time of NATO aggression. People in Donbas live in similar situation and madness for 8 years but still they do not leave their home and try to live and fight for their lives. The news about Russian army and its advancements today I receive and ingest as if they were of my country’s army.
When President Putin said ‘impery of lies’ I knew exactly what he meant. I am living in the EU. It has many good sides (order of law and organized society, which are traits mostly unrelated to the EU) but still something with the society is deeply rotten… I feel it and still cannot trust them completely, after the things and mass satanisation they did to us.
It is embarassing and sad to see how this anti-Russian propaganda and hatred are deeply entrenched into the minds and souls of the people and everything is done according to similar script that we were subjected to 20-25 years ago. I hope your leaders will not trust the words, as our leaders did, and that they will give US/UK/EU no concessions because they do not deserve them. Everything good, any concession you do for them will be used against your people and country. Ukraine is not the only country that need to be denacified and demilitarised.
The Wall is everywhere. It’s good to see that not all public figures are hoodwinked….if it’s good enough for Waters, it’s good enough for me! As with the covid BS,
I’ve learned to just keep my mouth shut around most people. When official reality finally (hopefully?) collapses, I may be of some use.
I’m 100% WASP, technically, but here I am. Hell, it’s YOU keeping US sane as much as anything.
Today, March 5, Russia destroyed:
4 Ukr Su27 fighter jets (downed in aerial fight)
1 Mi8 helicopter, 1 Su25 fighter jet and 1 Bayraktar drone, (shot down from AD on ground).
They also destroyed 5 Ukr radars and 2 Buk M1 air defence systems.
Earlier in the operation they destroyed:
69 jets on the ground
21 jets in the air
59 drones
748 tanks and other armoured vehicles
78 MLRS
274 units of artillery

Do not worry my friend.. it is normal to be lonely in this world.. path is narrow… Those Orthodox friends are not real Orthodox.. One thing I was reluctant to send to you in these 10 years of following you is “You were wrong about COVID” as this was also PSYOP which matrialised in this sort of common people obedience to this anti Russian narative…
Stay strong, may Lord bless you as I hope He does bless all of us lost sinners.
You are right about Russian repentance as I also pray for our Serbian one.
Who or what is the “real Orthodox”? Are you referring to the original Eastern Orthodoxy that incorporated Greeks, Russians and others? I think that’s the real Orthodox, not the Greek, Russian and other Orthodox churches of modern era as they have become too soft and bent in their own ways. Still, they are better than the Western churches by far in so many ways.
1) Peacekeepers and Peacekeepimg Mission are the preferred terms my friend
2) Despite the UA having effectively vanished, the pace of liberation will likely continue at around 30-50km/day. Army units are rather cumbersome.
3) Orthdoxy is also under assault by the War Party in Washington seeking to divide us amongst ourselves. Be wise on this topic.
4) The War Party’s goal has always been to fight Russia to the last Ukrainian.
5) BTW – the US trucker convoy arrived in the DC area today. Illuminating that it’s arrival is suppressed in the media
Biden = Andropov
Trudeau = Honecker
??? = Ceaucesceau
“Orthodoxy is also under assault by the War Party in Washington seeking to divide us amongst ourselves. Be wise on this topic.“
I agree. For us, Russians living abroad, Moscow Patriarchy is our spiritual “home”, and despite perhaps deserving criticism, I wish it’d be left out of the current discussions or be addressed separately in Saker’s vignettes.
But as the author of this blog often reminds us – it’s his blog and he writes what he likes, which is fair enough.
“Orthodoxy is also under assault by the War Party in Washington…”
Let me just put a bit of taste into it. Some two and a half years ago, US general Ben Hodges publicly called Serbian Ortodox Church “a threath”.
https://orthochristian.com/122684.html
Not long after that we saw an attempt of breaking Serbian Church’s beck in Montenegro which produced biblical events of massive processions over months and which put down Montenegro dictator’s (Djukanovic) regime to an end.
It’s so good to see your updates to get to the bottom of what’s really happening rather than just relying on the lying Western MSM. Please keep it up.
Your spiritual views about how Russia needs a new Patriarch like Saint Germogen or a new Metropolitan of Moscow like Saint Philip II, albeit well meaning can’t be granted, no more or no less for any other nation. The Bible is clear on where the world is heading. It’s heading in the wrong direction under the guidance of the devil and his demons. Of course, they will not win and in fact be defeated outright by our Lord and Savior but that has to wait for a later time. Meanwhile, be prepared for things to get a lot worse before they get a lot better. The return of Jesus is the only means to save the world from self-destruction.
Well not all western catholics are against Russia, me and a lot of know people of mine are with Russia and pretty sure Bishop Richard Williamson is too, probably is Eleison Comments of today will be about the war, we will see.
Not this Catholic and a lot of trad-leaning Catholic I see on GAB, etc. I’m 100% #StandWithRussia and want the Nazis of Ukraine to meet their maker.
Btw, I was thinking that Lennox Lewis would be a good choice for the new mayor of Kiev. He beat Mayor Klitschko’s ass for 6 rounds before the “No mas” TKO. 🤣
We are not alone. Many of us see through the lies. Truth will out. I waited over ten years for WMDs and 911 truths to come out and now most realize they were duped. Covid lies are coming out much quicker. Far too late conservatives are realizing we are not only losing the empire but we are losing the republic. USA will likely fragment.
Resist in actions if you can, if not in actions resist in words, if not in words resist in your heart. Your website is welcome truth to those of us that feel alone. Words have power!
Yes. Many in the US do not trust the MSM and believe them to be lying, but do not know where to find truthful information. Unfortunately, even among my friends who saw thru the many Covid lies, the anti-Russia dogma has deep roots. They cannot distinguish between the USSR and today’s Russia, believing them to be one and the same in purpose and motivation. They are completely ignorant of the atrocities committed by neo-Nazis in the Donbass, and thus cannot fathom any explanation of Russia’s motivations for its actions.
I am only lately come to understanding of the wider scope of history and geopolitics in the region. Listening to Mr. Putin’s own words over the past few months, it was clear to me that he was serious, not bluffing, and that Russia considered Ukraine’s entry into NATO as an existential threat. It was also clear to see his exasperation rising as Russia’s legitimate concerns and grievances were ignored.
My grandfather was 100% Russian. His father was a Russian Orthodox priest, and his mother was likely of Jewish descent. He would not talk much about his family. They left Odessa in the early 1900s to escape what was coming and immigrated to America (ala “Fiddler On The Roof”). I was raised with sympathy for Russian, Jewish, and Christian world views, as well as delicious dishes of Pirozhki and Borscht when visiting my grandfather.
This website is extremely valuable for its insight, history, and perspective. One all honest men and women should consider, and an invaluable counter-weight to the mindless War Hawks in the West. Tucker Carlson is almost the only voice of reason or neutrality left, and I’m sure he is catching a lot of heat. Hannity was barely tolerable before, now he foams at the mouth for war. Incredible.
A terrifying insight hit me yesterday: Putin just may be saving the world. Why would the three-letter agencies be training white supremacist, neo-Nazis in Ukraine (out of sight of the US)? Where else might such groups be inserted and utilized? The American homeland, of course. After it has dissolved into chaos and strife.
Don’t get me wrong. I am an American citizen and Patriot. But I was “red-pilled” by 9/11. There are other forces, nefarious forces, at work in the world, and they likely have control of our government. I pray the rest of us may wake up before it is too late. God bless those who stand for what is right and true, in whatever country they may live, and whatever language they may speak. In Christ’s name. Amen!
“A terrifying insight hit me yesterday: Putin just may be saving the world. Why would the three-letter agencies be training white supremacist, neo-Nazis in Ukraine (out of sight of the US)? Where else might such groups be inserted and utilized?”
Everywhere in Europe…except:
“The American homeland, of course. After it has dissolved into chaos and strife…”
Disagree!
The homeland in the US is defended. By the basket of deplorables…
It is not perfect, but it is an army…it will become one, soon. inevitable.
You good. Localise.
Our problem is the Eu.
Population is…is what it is.
Darwinistic principles are about manifest. Stay out of it.
Give it a week.
I agree the basket of deplorables will rise to the task.
But I worry about the purpose of the open southern border, with “our” government busing teams of oddly disproportionate numbers of unaccompanied military aged men all over the country.
Sounds ominous to me.
Sean Hannity was always a Professional Idiot, preaching nonsense to the clueless.
Now he is heir apparent to the Populist Neocon throne, formerly held by Bill Buckley and (sigh0 Rush Limbaugh.
(A downward progression, possibly due to inborn defect.)
One should not be surprised.
“On another subject i ve just read in chinese media that polish and croatian mercenaries dont allow civililians to leave Mariupol”
Do you have a link to that news?
While surely there are some of poles on both sides of the conflict, it is said here that foreign mercenary legion formed here didn’t attract many poles at all and only foreigners joined, it is my wild guess but in order to join poles need MoD permit which probably is not given for the same reason those vintage fighter jets where hold back
My Russian wife found the term “snow nigger” to be actually pretty funny. :D
About the Russian Orthodox Church, I can’t speak for Patriarch Kirill since I’ve never met him. But many priests, bishops and monks who I’ve spoken with over the years have been very clear-minded about the situation in Russia and the rest of the world. They don’t blindly follow orders. For example, they were told to close churches at the start of the pandemic, even for Pascha, but somehow the churches stayed open anyways.
Well…just so you know …you have another person who supports you and who stand with you…I am too far away to greet you in person but count with my
Blessings.

As a Dutch citizen…i hope and pray President Putin also take out the European Nazi’s and elites.
This crazy elites are trying to eliminate citizens with mandatory genvaccins and make poor slavens out of us. Taking us from Covid to war with Russia!!
We dont want war with Russia! We can only dream of such a leader as President Putin. Our house is open for Russian students who have to run. It is disgusting what is happening! We all hate Nazi’s, we remember every year the holocaust victims on May 4th. In gods name what are we doing and thinking blaiming and cancelling a great nation who has the guts to take them down!
I really dont understant the country i was born in. The continent called Europe. We need to be saved from Nazi elites!! This is really getting to me and i feel hate…pure hate!
It is “Nazi elites” who have opened up the floodgates to third world immigration all over the West? I thought “Nazis” were in favor of racial/ethnic homogeneity. Certainly these “elites,” however one wishes to characterize them, must be considered miserable failures at being “Nazis” at least in that sense.
It has been a first attack to take away sovereignty. Traditions are no longer wanted. We are supposed to think the other way around. We must embrace the LGBT. Break sovereignty for the new Reich.
It is increasingly important to start distinguishing sharply between militant ultranationalism and global fascism(corporatism), which can have overlap, but are really quite different. We all are in danger of global fascism, but ethnic russians in the Ukraine are threatened by the ultranationalist nazis (affectionate towards and originating from national-socialist 1930s German ideology).
Of course you are right these crimes have been going on for years. I know what you mean. This is also a cry from the heart. Personally I think everyone who supports are equally to blame. I am very aware of Azov, Aidar Nazi’s killing Russian people. We have to work with VPN and TOR to get information. So the people who denied our acces are to blame. And I blame a lot.
I am not an analist i just see western leaders supporting and that is very very upsetting.
RoseRed, I agree with you. My grandfather and or great grandfather fought in one if not two World Wars in order to ensure Nazi/Fascism would never again rear it’s ugly head in Europe. Well, well, here we are with Treaudolf in Canada, Bojo in UK and, it would seem, the most Nazi Presidents Europe has ever known supporting a neo-nazi President and country who are outright Fascist implementing similar politics to Hitler, outlawing opposition parties, murdering anti-Maidan protesters by burning them to death and so on and so forth. Zelensky is utterly and completely out of his depth. He is dangerous. He has become drunk with the power the West, USA and NATO has conferred on him. Russia has already once, dealt with the nazis in the WW2 and shamed the West and is doing so again. All those people who are willingly donating money to the Ukraine are going to feel really, really stupid when thy find out they have been funding neo fascists who are killing their own, marginalised citizens using a Fascist army to do so and are actually the ones committing atrocities on civilians thanks to Zelensky releasing dangerous criminals and arming them.
The state of the western governments and Media is indeed disheartening. Here in New Zealand RT has now been banned . Yesterday it was working. This has left me quite despondent. Not because RT was the best source of news but because it shows our Government, who I thought of as reasonable people have finally proved they are worthless and have no morality behind them. The Saker and other information providers like the Duran and MoonofAlabama are now more important than ever. Maybe in time the truth of the Ukraine conflict will surface but I think we are headed for a divided world. East vs West. Sadly things could have been so different .
Thank You for the service you provide and best wishes to the Russian people and military in Ukraine

Russia is doing another cauldron inside the larger cauldron in the Donbas which appears to split the blue area (Ukrainian) in half and split the Ukies. As time goes by the two halves will be split again in bite units to be demolished. Typical divide and conquer, as old as time.

A double Canne as the Romans might describe it
I was a bit Hasty. Rt is working again in New Zealand but ny sentiments reain the same
Yes even U.S. it is spotty and goes “in and out” but is mostly functioning, though accessing it is much slower and there is a DDOS guard that takes several seconds to clear.
For a long time now, I have been in agreement with others who have pointed out the resemblance of the current situation in the US and its vassal states to the late stage Soviet Union – a society in decline, ruled by a clique of sclerotic nomenklatura concerned primarily with maintaining their own power, wealth, and control over the plebian masses. The recent escalation of the conflict in Ukraine serves to accelerate this transformation and throws it into stark relief, but it had already been happening for decades.
The cliché about history repeating itself first as tragedy, then as farce comes to mind. In this evolving reboot of the Iron Curtain stretching from the White Sea to the Black Sea, now it is western societies that will be characterized by massive censorship, commissars enforcing ideological purity, shortages of goods, services, and housing for all but the elites, and sheep bleating “Four legs good, two legs bad!” or “Four legs good, two legs better!” according to the whims of the pigs. The ultimate irony will manifest when growing numbers of western dissidents evade the travel controls put in place in their native countries and defect to Russia – Snowden was just the beginning.
The West can keep this going for long time. If you supply weapons, intelligence data, then you are involved in war. Where is the new red line for Russia? No-fly zone? Russia should have declared no-fly zone over Ukraine at the start of operation. One of many PR mistakes. Maybe the biggest one is the way this operation was started, almost without any escalation. It might be viewed as a strategic surprise, but obviously that was not the case, so it looks like more is lost than gained (PR, troop morale)…
Not sure what you mean by the no-fly zone part. Russia DOES have a no fly zone over Ukraine as we speak. NO other country can fly over Ukraine and none does. Even E3 sentry/AWACS plane of U.S. is up in the air as we speak and it is strictly circling along the Polish border, not daring to cross into Ukraine. That is the definition of no fly zone.
With that said, the 2nd part of your statement is reasonable and I partly agree with it. It’s hard to say which way would have been best but it’s at least an argument and possibility that things should have been slowly ramped up, Russian Gov’t slowly releasing ‘exposing’ facts/documents to its citizens on what U.S./NATO et al are doing in Ukraine. Maybe they did do this more than I know, it’s hard to tell.
With that said, I don’t think morale is a problem as it seems almost 70% of Russians support Putin and this operation from last I saw in polls. This is about as high realistically as you will ever get in support of a major conflict in any type of country, so this is quite good compared to the support levels of other countries/conflicts.
I meant that no-fly zone should have been declared Publicly by Russia.
I was referring to Zelenskyy request to US/NATO to declare no-fly zone over Ukraine. I was suggesting that it would be beneficial if no-fly zone was already publicly declared by Russia.
well for what it’s worth, U.S. is the only country that would willfully fly over Ukraine (hypothetically) while Russia was in there. And U.S./Russia have secret deconfliction lines where I am sure Russia has notified them already that they cannot fly, similar to Syria where U.S. has to get Russia’s permission to fly over certain “Russian-controlled” areas. So what I’m saying is, in effect the no fly zone was likely already declared, not publicly, but in the Russia/U.S. back channels
When you got the power you don’t give a sh*t what people think about you. It’s a free world.

The empire of lies and blood will push for more negotiations and ceasefires. Always when the serbs gained on the battleground the bloody empire has pushed Milosevic for negotiations and ceasefire. Milosevic always falled into their negotiation trap and lost everything. Putin must be very very careful.
The Dutch Army, in their suppression ops.in the Dutch East Indies (Indonesia) used to call their Search and Destroy operation “police actions”. In honesty that was a dirty war if there ever was one.
Seeing as to how in the West the real police have been so heavily armed to the teeth the past 10 years, the distinction may be lost on many people below 40, but anyone older than that knows that the term was an extreme euphemism.
Maybe the Russians value their honesty more than euphemisms.
Justin Podur, professor (of environmental science at York University in Toronto), has in the past few hours posted a lengthy interview with Scott Ritter in which he (Scott) lays out the context and meaning of the de-nazification operation, from his own perspective.
I just sent it to one of my erstwhile friends who, though propagandized to the hilt, is still asking questions.
Someone with the software to scoop vids from the Youtube should grab this one. It’s a keeper.

Laninya! Thank you so much for the link, listened to the whole thing and recommend everyone give it a listen, Saker too, it is very very heartening and confidence building in terms of Russia being totally on track and what to expect. It felt very very solid, Thanks again! I’m going to look at it again tomorrow, there was a LOT in there, also really good interviewer!
Anti-Empire Radio
Is the interviewer Justin Podur’s podcast version.
Ritter makes the point that when Putin spoke to Macron he already said that this is going all the way, and he does not bluff. De-Nazify means what it says on the tin, and can’t be completed if only half the territory is taken. Afterwards the DMZ can govern itself like any other neutral country.
Andrei, I wonder whether you could, in your extremely busy schedule, provide any information about the ‘Torchlight Processions’ (Nazi) Lavrov referred to in his Press Conference and Putin referred to in an interview stating that they were straight out of Nazi Germany. Is there any footage of these on the Internet? Ukranian Television etc? I would be really interested to know
This might help.
https://www.timesofisrael.com/topic/ukrainian-nationalists/
Most of these articles listed not only show photographs of these Torchlight Processions, but show how the Uko-Ultranationalists influence and infiltrate many spheres of Ukrainian public space.
‘The Times of Israel’ seems to be a highly reputed media outlet in Israel and even a propagandasized Western audience might have a hard time refuting the existence of Nazis if this is pointed out by voices from the preeminent Jewish nation of the world.
Thank you so much Mu Xiaolei. I have saved it to read tomorrow. Thank you for taking time to answer my question.

Jimmy Dore recently posted a video where he talks about the Neo-Nazi C14 group presentation from February 2022 where the speaker brags of the arming and purpose of the Nationalist in destroying Ukraine as we know it!
White ISIS ideology that’s supported by US, UK, CANADA, POLAND and Turkey with aims to spread its racist supremacy ideology across broken Europe… Scary stuff that needs to be destroyed at all costs!
I read on one of the Telegram channels how the Azov units where using the same tactic as Salafi/ISIS groups in Syria to ensure civilians where used as human shields with training tactics developed by Mossad/CIA to lure LDNR/Russians into a trap so MSM report on collateral damage and events in Kiev, Kharkov and Mariupol support this theory?!

Dear Andrei I am Italian and are years that I am following your blog. Never made a comments, I am not an expert of geopolitics,…..but this time I want to tell you ….you are not alone
Naomi Wolf recently wrote an outstanding essay berating the folk who “know she is correct in challenging the official narrative about the epidemic” [pandemic it ain’t!]. I agree with her, that it requires courage to actively oppose “what everybody thinks”. The same applies to the hysteria promoted by the West about Russia’s action in Ukraine, and in both cases the only requirement beyond courage is information fortified with just a bit of history. I’m not allowed to use caps, unfortunately! If the West knew and understood the background to “their” Cuban Missile Crisis, they might understand why Putin is doing what is currently taking place. Scott Ritter rightly says this unique campaign will be studied extensively.
The American empire is more fragile than people imagine. A muscular secessionist movement by Red State Christian conservatives would spell the beginning of the end for the American empire. True friends of Russia should consider encouraging this trend.
Hey Saker,
What’s your take on PCR’s Ukraine’s update #6? Seams that he makes good point – Putin stalls trying to be nice guy, and his stalling costs lives and creates counter the desired effect in collective west (instead of fear/respect, creates hatred and foolhardy attempts to heart Russia that can spark some really nasty outcome).
Cheers from Serbia!
The Russian invasion is succeeding militarily, just as the US knew it would. The US plan to 1)fracture Western Europe from Russia and to 2) demonize, weaken and isolate Russia is also succeeding. The objective of the Russians is a neutral and demilitarized Ukraine. The remaining objective of the US (the two above are virtually fait accompli) is to sow chaos and stoke an insurgency in Ukraine that bleeds Russia. Each side has a strategy and a game plan. Each side’s strategy is unfolding according to plan. Neither side is crazy or irrational. Neither plan is stupid. At the top neither side is shutting their pants or hysterical. Each side is methodically executing its respective plan. We’ll see how things develop.
You are wrong. Russia won on December 18th Putin in his state to the west to honor their agreement s .The west will pay the price’ commiserate, to the amount of harm they had to inflict on their brothers. After this, they will see the full display of Russian military might, aimed at the evil , that they are. The world has changed and get used to it.
I am Italian by birth and Russian by adoption, the war we see taking place, I have been fighting it all my life, first against myself, against my religion, against my education, against history. it is a war that cannot be totally won without first being, wounded, humiliated, defeated, and the war of the heart against reason, and the war of the spirit against indecency. I fully agree with you when you say “men cannot, but God can do everything. This war is the war against a false God made and represented by men. the true God lives within you and in everything, we cannot win this war if we do not first know who he is against what we are fighting against, only in this way will we be able to root out the true evil, our most treacherous weaknesses. our addictions, and our toxic addictions. corruption, for example, is not a material problem but a spiritual problem, and the soul that without being aware of it we sell to the devil. the war we must fight is first of all against ourselves. once the weapons, the logistical bases and the fanaticism have been eradicated, we will be ready to rebuild a new life, made up of new roads and new common horizons.
Hi Andrei
an intel :
Result of a poll made by Sud radio, a national :
Question :
Do you think that the media cover of the war in Ukraine is credible?
Yes : 5,4%
No : 94,6%
The credibility of the MSM in France is not in free fall : it is already TOTALY DESTROYED.
Commercial medias , even in the hands of a few billionaires, a barely surviving thanks to the huge amount of public monney the naziDav Macron is giving them. (naziDav : nazis of Davos, young leaders of the WEF)
It is perfectly normal that the naziDavs, the”post democratic” leaders, a term coined by the english association Common Purpose, are supporting the ukronazis.
But people are not fooled anymore.
The french political class is totally disconnected from the people.
So Andrei, long story short : you are not alone.
thank you for your work and dedication.

If we take things with patience and temperance we can see that these are drowned kicks (it is from my point of view the agony of a dying), of course who is drowning is not anyone and their kicks make very big waves but everything is given so that the giant dies and will die (one way or another), with the suffering that all this entails (surely Europe will pay most of the price).

There is at least one traditional western-rite Catholic in the United States, of Catholic descent from time immemorial, who supports Russia in general, and the Special Operation in particular, especially now that its ways and means are becoming more apparent: Yours truly. If and when the Special Operation plays out to its intended fruition, as describe by the Saker, and also in the Duran, I suspect there will be many more. Many of us recognize that Russia is standing up for western civilization in general, of which it has always been a vital part; and also for decency and morality in particular, against this Woke barbarity that is overwhelming us.
God Bless you Saker.
You have way more friends than you know.
My wife is a Rwandan Tutsi. I was in zone Turquoise in 1994 and see the French soldier killing a group of six, 3 women, one of them with a child tied by a loincloth on her back. And two men, one of them with his head still attached to the body by a flap of flesh thinner than a finger. Having seen what I was not supposed to see, I escaped several assassination attempts by genocidal auxiliaries of the French Army in the following four days. In spite of this pressure of assassination attempts, I succeeded alone, without assistance from anyone, but this of Burundian soldiers who free check point for us and so saving our life, in bringing to safety some sixty survivors of the genocide. I know intimately the chopping machine of the West, the one which is currently at work in Ukraine. Its very hard but you have the Russian army, it is not nothing. Thank you Mr Putin, Shoigu, Lavrow, Konashenko and all those who fight this West thirsty of blood and domination.
I have been a reader of this blog since 2014 and, as a German, I want to share something with the Saker and its community.
Why am I writing this comment? What you think to know about German history should be a warning and a motivation. Should Russia loose this war, almost everybody in the not so distand future will think to know a Russian history that will only differ in meaningless details from the German history you think to know.
What they present as “Nazis” in Ukraine are controlled idiots. In 2014 they accepted a handpicked, jewish-led coup government and willingly served said government as a military force for 8 years ever since. Jazenjuk, Poroschenko, Zelensky – every head of the Ukraine since the coup is a jew. No real Nationalsocialist would ever take up arms for a jewish government, let alone for such an obvious New World Order coup government.
More importantly, every real Nationalsocialist will hold sympathy for Russia’s military operation as its motivation and justifaction are, ironically, extremely similiar to that of Germany’s military operation in Poland in 1939. In both cases land has been previously taken away from the motherland and given to a newly declared country, with the local people suddenly finding themelves as an ethnic minority under a foreign and hostile government. Ukraine is backed by the exact same empire of lies that also backed Poland in 1939. In the same way this empire encouraged Poland in 1939 to commit a genocide against the German minorities and provoke a German reaction, the same empire now engourages Ukraine to commit a genocide against the Russian minorities and provoke a Russian reaction. The situation is so obviously similiar it is almost comical to me.
I understand that this might be a controversial comment to some and, frankly, I do not have much hope it will make it through moderation, because German history is the most censored information I can think of, but god will not grant peace unless the truth will make its way back to light.
Thank You for this comment. I think most intelligent people recognise the anomalies in the Jewish role in regards to Germany.
Deutscher, you are either delusional or a Nazi troll. There are still a few people alive who recall exactly what happened before and during WW2, and comparing the active ethnic cleansing done by the Germans to the prevention of ethnic cleansing by the Russians is offensive.
Another German here and I’m disgusted. You surely will know the term “Untermensch”,therefor you should also know, that’s what the Ukro-Nazi think about Russians.
Don’t dare to imply, that the heirs of Bandera are misled and exploited victims, who just for sheer fun sport tattoos of NS-symbols and carry swastika flags.
Better let your truth rott in darkness for eternity.
Thank you for this contribution. Putin is a reckless leader, Assad is bombing his own citizens, Gaddafi is bombing his own citizens, Iraq has weapons of mass destruction, the Serbs do ethnic cleansing, Victor and the Tired man are a prime example – only one statement is true ;-)
Fellow German here. I have already seen this gem of a headline: “Putin uses vaccum bombs against ukrainian civillians” (vaccum bombs is the propaganda term for TOS-1)
Unfortunately to this day Russia does not dare to free the truth about our history. And I fear there will be no victory over the empire of lies without uncompromising truth.
I agree it can’t be a Nazi government with a Jewish president whose government Nazis defend (an aide of Zelensky made this point too in the NYT). Whatever they are, “Nazi” is used as a convenient term or insult and not a precise description. Putin is loose with the use of the term “Nazi.” Sure, “nobody defends Nazis”, but one should be accurate. Putin sincerely (I believe) said in a meeting this week that the Soviet were trying not to kill Ukranian civilians in WWII, like the Russian army is trying today not to, and that when the Soviets were retaking Ukraine from the Nazis, the Nazis were behaving like the Banderites today. WWII Germans report that the Soviets were angry with Ukranians for siding with Germany; so, that their attitude then was the opposite of Putin’s attitude towards Ukranians today. Soviet Soldiers committed human rights abuses in Ukraine, reacting to the banderite types, and especially in Germany. The German soldiers had a code of honor as to personal behavior which the Soviet army did not have. However, Soviet leaders did develop codes and penalties in reaction to the abuses by Soviet soldiers. Erich Hartmann saw a Soviet officer condemn a Soviet soldier to death because he had committed rape in a prison camp after the order had been given that rapists would be killed. In Europe, some Germans were court-marshalled, I think one for stealing something from a supermarket. Another was executed because of his behavior towards a civilian woman. Do not think that the German army did not have such codes. They had them. Hitler, in 1943, asked the leader of the navy if enemy survivors could be shot dead in the water. That leader of the German navy responded that under no circumstances could they do that. Hitler did not insist again. My source for this is German, maybe that leader himself. Also wrong is Putin’s view of WWII in 1941. In the past few days, he said that the Germans advanced so much only because the Soviets were not expecting an invasion. The German soldiers were better in 1941, and that’s why they advanced almost as far as Moscow, even with the Winter obstacle. Furthermore, German Major Otto Remer (of a key role against the 1944 Walkiry insurrection) said that the Russian fortifications close to the border were of an offensive nature, not defensive, and that this is why the Germans were able to advance quickly. Clearly, the Russians learned quickly, and eventually were reckoned as no less good than the Germans (renowned for being great soldiers). The best, to me trustworthy, corroboration of the offensive preparations by Stalin comes from one of the two greatest German war pilots, Hans Ulrich Rudel (wikipedia gives a lot of info. on him; the other one was fighter Erich Hartmann, with his 350 victories). Rudel wrote in his 1958 autobiography “Stuka Pilot” what he saw in June-1941 between Grodno and Wolkowysk: “On my very first sortie I notice the countless fortifications along the frontier. The fieldworks run deep into Russia for many hundreds of miles. They are partly positions still under construction. We fly over half-completed airfields; here a concrete runway is just being built; there a few aircraft are already standing on an aerodrome. For instance, on the road to Witebsk along which our troops are advancing there is one of these half-finished airfields packed with Martin bombers. They must be short either of petrol or of crews. Flying in this way over one airfield after another, over one strongpoint after another, one reflects: ‘It is a good thing we struck’…It looks as if the Soviets meant to build all these preparations up as a base for invasion against us. Whom else in the West could Russia have wanted to attack? If the Russians had completed their preparations there would not have been much hope of halting them anywhere.”
Stalin was very different from Putin! Most likely, sometime between September 1939 and before June 1941, Stalin was contacted by the “West,” and he made a deal with them too.
Yes, Stalin made a deal with the West. And the Allies even created a coup in Iran in 1941 to oust Reza Shah Pahlavi (a friend to Germany) in order to create a land supply line to the soviet union for the lend-lease program, ultimately the reason the Soviets were able to hold out for so long and win in the end. Wikipedia literally calls this the “Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran on 16 September 1941”.
“In 1943, 30,000 Americans helped to man the Persian Corridor and 26–34 percent of the supplies sent to the Soviet Union under the Lend-Lease Act were sent through Iran.”
Yeah, but I think Putin honestly thinks Stalin was surprised and unready, as do most Western historians. Good point about Iran.
Deutscher, you make good points. The Azov battalions are not organic nationalists or nazis in any deep sense of the term. They are ready-made propaganda/military tools of Judaeo-America. Judaeo-America has no problem cobbling together “nazi” or “moslem” terrorist groups for its own purposes–to use them against the only major temporal forces resisting her: one of them being Russia. These groups always have the same lame clothing, facemasks,—they are complete losers and thugs. Notice also that *none of these terrorist groups (Al Qaeda, ISIS, Azov Battalions) ever attack Israel.*
Whether they are genuine or merely pseudo Nazis, I hope that the Azov Battalions/Banderistas are destroyed.
May God grant Victory to Russia. May God raise up sane leaders in Ukraine, leaders willing to make peace.
I was going to reply (positively) to the original Deutscher comment.
However, here will do just as well.
Remember, the Christian 7-sins (missing the mark) are in fact 9-sins in other systems (e.g., Sufi).
The two additional sins are “fear” and “deceit” — e.g., read up on the Orthodox-Sufi worldview put out 100-years ago in Russia by G.i. Gurdjieff and P.D. Ouspensky. We are now in an engineered state of fear and directed from a domain of cultural mendacity with a few main legacy core centres but largely a metastatic cancer spread broadly across the global spectrum.
These people are largely criminal actors — a comedian playing president (not just Reagan), criminal gangs that subvert the centres of power and then infest the control-rooms. These actors (literally) will don any uniform costume and play out the drama script they are given by the script writters. Have people not seen the recent “Red Cross” usd$ crowd funding system evidence in play in the Ukraine? The Jews today (what’s left of them) are more the Palestinians. Not the thick-necked Ashkenazi convertee from the north of the historic Black Sea regions.
We live in corrupt times funded by moral hazard (the economic definition) and looting of the common wealth of the nations. I do not think it adds any value to start focusing on and blaming any racial stereotype. The Jews in Occupied Palestine are no more authentic Hebrews than the Wahhabi cult in Arabia is Islamic. Gaza and Yemen are the evidence. There is no care for the costume du jour by actors. What is common is the plunder and looting programme that pay their wages. The settler-strong against the indigenous-weak (technically & structurally speaking) goes on beyond the law. These types are trying, from their own blindness, to frame the Russians as the weak-indigenous. Not going to work. There is a civilization-scale tipping point renewal emerging.
In the English-speaking West, the term “Nazi” is just a convenient short-hand metaphor in popular discourse. If there is an academic precision required then, yes, more nuance is appropriate. But as I have mentioned above, it is easier to just frame to discourse as “criminal” and “commons” and move onto what police/army action is needed to arrest the cancer.
It is important for clear (& critical) thinking that we get the right scale/octave (logical level) in focus. I think Scott Ritter recently nailed it: Civilizational – Chinese; Slav; Anglo-American. Perhaps one should add Indian, Latin, African but I don’t think this is that relevant at the highest level. No blame on said peoples, rather that they are just so mixed up in their post-colonial domestic complexities that they do not add a primary color to the palette.
The vector that interests me, (an Anglo Welsh, Scot, English mix 5-6 generations back living in Oz, with German feet I was once told by an upmarket Italian cobbler) is how the western peninsular of the European rump (of the Euro-Asian land mass) will find its post-American (Disney-land policy) voice and formulate its own desirable futures. The silence is the problem at the moment. Nobody in the serious thinking domains really cares about the 20th century wars. They are about as relevant as the 18th century wars. Spain is mixed. Poland is mixed. The religions (Catholic/Protestant) vectors are mixed. Only France and germany seem to have an authentic core. So, imo, they need to work it out together then pull the rest of the poodles into line and develop a non-Nato based peace with Russia.
What is needed is a German voice in the global discourse mix about peaceful futures. Not limp passive aggressive “Green” theory. But rather, like India, a seat on the central UN security council top table. Does anyone really think the post ww2 behaviours of the USA (& UK) are any worse than ww2 Germany? Let’s see: atomic bombs on Japan; Korea, Indonesia; Vietnam; Cambodia, Laos etc; Latin America; Africa. Basically, there is a need to drop the UK (little Britain) back to the 2nd or 3rd league and reconfigure the UN top table on continental &/or GDP vectors. But really, what is needed is just peaceful people working hard and smart for their own lunch and trading fairly and honestly with “agreement capable” contracts.
Whether post-shame Germans wish to speak up, or not, is their business. But I personally think it helps when they do. Even if what is said is controversial – as long as it is authentic and genuine question-led, fact-seeking then we have the means of a Socratic methodology at our disposal.
Thank you for speaking up. I can respect that, even if I have no specific answers. No one does really in complex times – there is only grounded process (e.g., extended time involving both empirical facts and subjective response vectors). I personally, as commented on elsewhere here at the Saker, find the Kubler-Ross anticipatory grief cycle useful for framing non-instant-noodle policy discourse. I’m sure there are other approaches to making sense in difficult times.
To summarize: whatever attacks fear and deceit is part of the ways forward towards the next qualitative step/stage. This should be framed, and worked out, at the local pragmatic levels. Let’s all keep a far away from global ideologies as we can.
From what I can see, the Russians are not (in the main) actor/performers. Neither are Australians, nor I suspect the Germans by nature. The real extant war now is between Actor and Non-actor theory. It is too complex and subtle for the diminished mentation capacities of the masses (and many of the educated intellectuals) to think ut clearly. It can only be demonstrated as the probe-challenge-surround-resolve process some experts talk about in military strategy terms.
Hope it helps some.
Russia needs to come clean about germanys past aswell as its own soviet past or else it will never live to see peace nor victory. Why is there such a fruitful ground for resistance and animosity towards Russia in former Soviet Republics? I have read Ehrenburgs creations of the Red Star magazine and I could tell no difference to the current propaganda operation against Russia…
Yes I’ve been reading up about the Jewish involvement in WW2. We’ve all got these fanatics in our own countries, and for the record, nearly every european country participated in the cleansing of Jews from their respective countries, but it’s been airbrushed from history. These fanatics have a toxic effect on the rest of the population. They pull the strings that light the fuse just as they did in Germany and are doing now in Ukraine. In both instances, the control centre is in the US. For the record, I understand what you are saying and think you are brave to voice your opinion. I’m British, and with our history, we have nothing to be pround of either.
“science without conscience is but the ruin of the soul“.
Science without conscience is the atomic bomb, weaponised viruses …. I am sure you can all find your own examples.
Dare I say, also social media which has not bought out the ‘bad’ in people, it was already there, but it has given them a ‘voice’ that they have used ruthlessly.
The Bible did warn us. Humans do not have the wisdom to handle ‘science’ and we seem to be doing our best to be cast out of the garden of Eden, which is surely this little blue planet.
A question for the more geopolitically astute folks here. What do you think will happen if Russia succeeds in taking over Ukraine and the Ukrainians / mercs / ISIS and other US sponsored scum resort to guerrilla warfare while being supplied and based out of NATO countries that neighbor the Ukraine ? Will Russia just engage them after they cross the border or will Russia hit their bases and supply depots in the NATO countries ? It seems that this is the ultimate goal / trap of the Americans whether Russia is victorious or not.
I’m not a military expert. But my intuition tells me that if Russia doesn’t capture the entire Ukraine, the US/NATO will quickly grab whatever part that’d remain out of Russia’s hands and recognize it as the legitimate Ukrainian govt.
Therefore it’s crucial that the Russian leadership stop at nothing short of total capitulation and occupation of Ukraine. They should leave only after carving out some pro-Russian statelets and making sure that pro-western elements are pacified, and none of the successor states are able to pose a serious threat to Russia’s interests.
Dear Andrei, I’m definitively and by no means a religious man. My understanding of the world, comes from a humanistic, philosophic Empathy which nevertheless, brings me very close to your religious thinking. I used to despair about the stupidity around me and the fact everybody refuses to think.
More and more,I realize, that the main problem with those people is, they completely lost their conscience.
Conscience is the filter which prevents people’s brain from getting overwhelmed by false information, because it prohibits an overload. It gives time to doubt and doubt leads to “think for your self”.
Doubt can only get triggert by conscience.
I suspect that you may find in very, very imperfect worlds that some children face the choice of obliteration or never developing a conscience.
Conscience is something that develops in a loving parental home.
When you get wars you get orphans, you get child killers, you get children exposed to horrendous sights of violence, mass murder, total destruction.
I am not going to say I fully understand how the child’s brain adapts to such horrors so that they can survive in some form or other.
But I do know that conscience is not associated with the bottom of Maslow’s hierarchy, survival is.
Conscience is the prerogative of those lucky enough to reach adulthood without assaults to the pscyhe sufficiently terrible as to render conscience an ‘optional extra’.
Assalaamu Alekum dear Brother Andrei,
Please note that you are not alone, we the Muslims are with you with our hearts and souls and keep Russia in all our five daily prayers.
Yes we may be in a time of our deepest dip and maybe surrounded by hypocrite rulers and western puppets and fanatical psychopaths but the light of God is in our hearts and just like you we are the only people on earth (in addition to you) who are awaiting the return of Jesus Christ in his physical form as the man that came 2000 years ago and just like you (I assume) we are waiting for him to kill the Antichrist in person when he returns.
Dajjal (the Antichrist) our prophet (pbuh) told us is a master deceiver (has a PHD in deception like Sheikh Imran Hosein.) He has deceived a lot of our own Muslim brothers and sisters to dance to his tunes and follow his footpath but does that mean that I as a Muslim should despair and become hopeless? The same applies to you dear Andrei, you must be so grateful to God that Russians now compared to the nineties are far more religious than they are now. Thanks to Mr. Putin so many churches have been built throughout Russia and the role of the great orthodox Christian Cossacks have been partially restored.
My Muslim brothers from the caucus are dying along with my orthodox Christian brothers in Ukraine to minimize casualties to the great Ukrainian people. Be proud that Mr.Putin has not bombed the Nazis in Ukraine out of existence which could have been the easy way out (which will have caused so many innocent civilians to die.) humans are blind or stupid and the world is watching Russia giving an example of what a righteous army does in order to eradicate evil. I know many people in western puppet Muslim countries that are praying for Russia to win against the barabaric savage sodomitic witch craft uncivilized west. They know that the West has used Ukraine just like it used Syria as a proxy war against the orthodox Christian Russia.
How desperate will you be now dear Andrei if you were now living and witnessing the Bolsheviks demolishing your churches and starving your people. God is the most wise and he get bring changes to a people in ways completely unimaginable. Have you thought or even considered thinking about thinking about the fact that this western (witchcraft black magic) imposter media war against Russia is a blessing in disguise?
The time has come for a people that we believe are THE RUM that Allah spoke about in the Quran to punish the barbarian savage demonic west. As Allah says in the Quran when speaking directly to Jesus Christ Peace be upon him the true Messiah “Quran Chapter: AL IMRAN verse 55 . ˹Remember˺ when Allah said, “O Jesus! I will take you1 and raise you up to Myself. I will deliver you from those who disbelieve, and elevate your followers above the disbelievers until the Day of Judgment. Then to Me you will ˹all˺ return, and I will settle all your disputes“
Just like a people who have chosen to marry a man another man and give him a certificate of marriage in their Protestant and Catholic Churches in direct rebellion against God and have chosen to support the false “Moshiach” temporary imposter state in the Levant, we the Muslims have chosen to support the people(Rum AKA followers of Jesus Christ the Messiah AKA the Orthodox Christians headquartered in MOSKVA RUSSIYA AKA the inheritors of Byzantium which Allah have promised us in the Quran will be given POWER and VICTORY over the rejectors of Jesus Christ.
So be proud and hopeful and happy…a people with such faith in their heart like you Andrei and your people and especially with such astonishing humbleness will defeat the AngloKabalikSaxonLatinProtestantCatholticTalmudic alliance and we the Muslims (despite our powerlessness at the moment) are here to support you.
May God punish the oppressors and may he bring joy and positivity to the heart our dear brother Andrei and to all Orthodox Christians that are fighting evil in the great land of the Ukrainian people at the moment. Amen.
Ukraine? It’s people? Are they just cannon fodder for a Russian dream? What good purpose is achieved when bad people do horrific things, just because they can? Think. Just stop and think!
As someone who actually had to live through the war in Yugoslavia and whose wife was one of the wounded children evacuated from the Vukovar hospital after the fall of the city, at which point the Serbs executed her uncle and imprisoned her father in a concentration camp in Serbia, I really dislike your pro-Serb interpretation of the events. They were basically the analogue of those Nazis killing children in Donbass with mortar fire every time they get drunk and feel like having some fun, which is also an irony in its own right since Croats are now stupid enough to identify with the Ukrainians and think that Russians are some kind of Serbs, which is probably a consequence of a cozy relationship between people like yourself and the Serbs, and since we will never forget what the Serbs did here (and we actually know what they did, unlike yourself), Russian pro-Serb attitude doesn’t help one bit. I’m probably one of a small minority of strongly pro-Russian Croats.
We Serbs will never forget Jasenovac and croatian atrocities. We will not forgive the children’s camps, the only ones in Europe.
Never.
Civil war in Croatia during nineties has affected both sides, Croatian Serbs and Croats.
Your personal experience in that context is sad, and there are so many other similar experiences at either side.
In a broader context, you should have been fair enough and try to explain the root cause of that civil war, but you never tried, and you never will.
Here is what is bothering me:
1. Despite the fact that Croatia was unique in having *real* Concentration camps for Serbian children, you dare to attribute alleged PoW camps in Serbia as “Concentration” ones.
2. Croatia waged a war against Croatian Serbs in order to expel them completely from Croatia in which Croatia finally succeeded, with logistics provided by NATO.
And the very same scenario was prepared for Donbas (Ukraine officials has been already provided a consulting by Croatian officials), but luckily Russia was faster than that.
3. Then you visit this site, entitling yourself as “pro-Russian Croat”.
In addition, having in mind Croatian’s role in Siege of Stalingrad, “pro-Russian Croats” sounds like an oxymoron.
I truly admire the level of audacity you have shown, but not at surprise, because I have lived for a long time in Croatia and the way you are thinking is quite familiar to me.
It’s amazing how you apparently can’t think of people as individuals. Everything is a historical, group based grievance to you. Croats once waged war on Russia, therefore a Croat three generations later can’t plausibly be pro-Russian?
Unfortunately they can’t, few of them maybe, the majority is united in their hatred of anything Orthodox Christian. Roman Catholic legacy I suppose. Just like most Poles, Ukronazies etc. Just the way things are….
It’s amazing how you are not addressing a main arguments (1-3, especially second one), but rather the additional statement provided afterwards.
Nice straw man, though.
Even about your argument, I can agree with that, but you missed that I was essentially referring to most recent events (e.g. expulsion of Serbs from Croatia), which is nineties, not something that happened three generations before.
And it is very relevant for this site because I am seeing the same blueprint applying to Russians.
Last but not least, Daniel is concerned about this site becoming pro-Serb (having an attribute “Serb” a priori means something bad, right?). Obviously, Daniel can think of people as individuals, right? Or not?
Semantics. When he says ‘Serb’, he’s obviously talking about the type of Serbian nationalist who engaged in or defends (or denies) the ethnic cleansing that Serbian ultra-nationalists conducted in the 90s.
And this site is clearly, comically pro-Serbian in that sense. I can literally scroll straight up from here and get to a bunch of links featuring Belgrade commissioned Srebrenica denialism.
Serbian nationalists were utter bastards in the 90s. They weren’t the only ones, and there was definitely an amount of arbitrary victor’s justice in how Serbians alone became the designated villains, while Croats especially got off mostly (though not entirely; Croats were convicted in The Hague) scot free. But that doesn’t change the fact that they *were* bastards.
Doesn’t justify the NATO intervention over Kosovo, but then again, I suppose the denizens of this site should be happy they did, since it was the precedent and blueprint for the current Russian justification for Donbass independence and invasion to ensure its safety.
Dear Saker, I’ve been reading your blog since 2014. Thanks for all your hard work. I have never commented, but I wanted to say that you are not alone. In reading the alternative news sites, I’m shocked at the vitriol coming from sources I deemed sane, but I am heartened that they do post some well reasoned articles. I’m also heartened by some of the comments on sites more liberally aligned. There are a lot of Americans questioning and condemning our government’s atrocious record of invasion and slaughter. There are more of us than you realize. Thanks again for what you and your crew does every day.
The Americans have war down to a fine art. Destroy the infrastrure by missiles and bombs, then bomb anything that looks like if might resist. Maximise the spent ammunition.
All with embedded news reporters reporting the latest explosion.
This is what we in the West have come to think of when we think of war. If it is not happening on our TV screens, the offensive is a failure. Diplomacy can wait while people die.
What’s that? There might be no bread or flour? How can that be? You mean we might be affected? Why weren’t we told this might happen? Why are they still talking about explosions on the TV? Don’t they know there is a problem on our supermarket shelves and petrol stations and gas prices?
I’m really, really sorry for the Ukrainians that have long suffered from western interference, and are about to get ripped off on an industrial scale, quickly followed by a military occupation.
Their best hope is that Shoigu and Putin have not miscalculated, and that the Ukrainain zealots believe their own propaganda.
To Andrei, thank you for the map. I’m guess that the shaded areas are areas where Russian irregular forces are mostly in control. That suggests that one set of Ukranian forces is in the Cauldron now.
I’m seeing references to the Russian Army running out of food, fuel and suffering from desertions. I’m guessing this is coming from Zelensky & Co, and is the projection of their fears onto their enemy.
Many people here in the west did not buy in to 9/11. They distrust the Plandemic. The politicians may be pushing the anti-Putin line, but many see this as self-serving.
As time goes on there will be more questions. My hope is that there will be centered on how to improve the outcome. The alternatives could be far worse.
We in Serbia have NO restriction to access to Russian sites.
Many of us have stopped watching MSM (US/UK/NATO) propaganda long time ago.
Of course we have a lot of journalists on US-Embassy payroll.
People here are aware what NATO did to us in last 20+years and that Russian people always did and always will stand by us.
We know the atrocities fascists committed in Donbass and Russia will prevail.
I hear your yearning for a strong, free and principled church who stands up to any given political leadership.
Ultimately, you are arguing for separation of church and state which is universally accepted these days.
However, I think the best model is the union of church and state. It is risky like all models for no model is both idiot and corruption proof. But IF you have an authentic, and therefore also strong, church and if you have an authentic, and therefore also strong state, you have the best of all possible worlds, so why strive for anything less? All you need is good procedures for firing bad leadership in either the church or the state.
That said, any system that unifies church and state ends up with monarchy for the church provides ritual and other access to sacred perception and thus the monarch, at one with any such church, must be perceived as a Sacred Person, which in English we call Royal.
It is time to bring back the Tsar as Head of Church and State. If not the Romanovs, then start with someone else.
Or maybe just be satisfied with the rather mediocre substitutes we have which is both Head of State (Putin) and the current Patriarchs being much more middle class equivalents.
And the degradation of our world will continue….
You can not have a state church in a multi-religious, multi-ethnic nation. To try would be a recepie for disaster.
It is good that sites like this exist to counteract the false narrative that is being fed in the west.
I am English and I have lived in the US. I have never been so ashamed of my country. The politicians are behaving like children and very few people stop to question.
I feel sorry for the Ukrainian people who are being used as a pawn for an unnecessary fight against Russia that my country is part of.
This does feel like a crossing the Rubicon moment.
Andrei, my dear friend, here is a biiig hug – un abrazo grande y fuerte – de tu amigo Thomas . Te recuerdas? 8 anos atras, THE SAKER in German ?! I lost your private email, so I just send you my heart’s best wishes yo you and your family. Keep the spirit, don’t get bogged down and remember:” It always appears to be most intensely dark just before the end of obscurity.” Te abrazo Thomas
Thank-you for an excellent update and I really appreciated your closing comments vis-a-vis “what the West lacks today is not brains, though these are totally missing too, but simply a kind heart” as it is so true especially amongst those on the left.
The question of what to do with Galicia. Scott Ritter thinks Russia has no choice but to subdue Lvov and other population centers, others think that it should be made independent and turned over to NATO. I agree with Ritter. Ukraine is not Russia’s enemy, NATO is. Russia needs to put its military in NATO’s face in Ukraine the same way it is doing in Belorussia and Kaliningrad, so that it can subsequently ratchet up pressure on Eastern Europe as need be, and be in the best position should it eventually turn into a hot war. How then to deal with the hostile population of western Ukraine? If it won’t be subdued, there may be no alternative but Stalin style ethnic cleansing, which will in any case be one of the atrocities Russia should expect to be accused of in Western media. If false atrocities are sure to be generally believed, what incentive does Russia have to refrain from strong actions where there are no practicable alternatives? This war with the West is all out war, and the side unwilling to do everything necessary to win will lose. The West is run by the most ruthless people on the planet, who will stop at nothing. Russia is now in a fight to the death. So, I think Ritter called it right.
Galicia must undergo de-Nazification. If not, NATO can inflate this small impoverished region into a tremendous force, useful in psyops and perhaps more. It might be useful for short time, to let the Nazis to think they can hide out in Galicia, but I think that’s a bad idea because they can just slip across the border into Poland and points West, when they realize justice is coming for them. Just like in the 1940’s and 1950’s. So this zit has to be popped entirely. Ritter is right. For years, Poland’s leaders have shrugged off the massacres of the Banderistas against Poles and Polish Jews, so a bad combination is not just possible, but almost certain. This is also an argument against breaking up the Ukraine, or at least against breaking it into small pieces.
For a despicable US MNM like NYT, to broach this none-of-their-business subject: the Zelensky succession planning, it really means the following:
1. All the past broadcasting about “democracy” in Ukraine by the US MNM have been a smoke screen. As soon as the Ukraine situation changed, US and US alone decides the Ukrainian leadership.
2. Zelensky’s performance so far has been haphazard and embarrassing to the US and NATO, to say the least. So time to consider the possibility of snuffing him off.
3. In the past several days, the noises of possible Russian assassination of Zelensky have been mentioned repeatedly. Where is he? US and Ukraine won’t say. Only that the Russians may assassinate him soon. You have heard the warning, the plot is thickening.
4. Zelensky is a dead man walking, but the killers may not be Russians.

U.S. and Allies Discuss Security of Ukraine’s Leaders Amid Fears for Zelensky’s Safety
Concerns about the line of succession were prompted in part because President Volodymyr Zelensky insists he will not be evacuated.

Kitaysupporter, well, as I understand it (Sputnik News) the Leader of the Opposition in Ukraine made a very clear statement that Zelensky had ‘fled’ to Poland and was in hiding at the USA Embassy. This was confirmed by the Russian MoD. The USA has refused to make any comment. I’m thinking the Skripals here, the false flag CIA/Mossad/MI6 alleged ‘Novichock’ attack in order to invade Syria. I am in no doubt they were assassinated by the CIA or Mossad as they have never been heard of since their ‘disappearance’. Skripal senior was beginning to be a bit of a liability vis-a-vis the Steele Dossier. Once they had served their purpose, they were killed Yulia was collateral damage. They knew the truth and could not be allowed to remain alive to tell their stories. Well, I agree with you. Zelensky keeps telling the West he is going to be assasinated by Putin thereby stoking up further Western hatred of Russia. You are right, they are setting up the narrative to blame Russia. Zelensky is now a liability after all, he’s a comedian never has been a politician and is completely out of his depth. A former Ukrainian President said the escalation by Zelensky of the fire at the Z nuclear power station was merely a false flag to get NATO , the USA and the West to implement a No Fly Zone over Ukraine (which would really start WW3). I believe him. He talked from knowledge and a great deal of sense. He is a useful idiot to the West, USA and NATO right now, but won’t be for much longer. He will be ‘disappeared’ a la Skrpal.
The demonization and hatred shown Russians is nothing unique. Just ask the Redskins, Krauts, Huns, Japs, Gooks, Nips, Chinks, Slants and Haijis. Standard operating procedure. You just happens to be on today’s menu.
We’ve been number 1 on this racist catholic menu since the 11th century AD !
See Crusades to the East (Drang nach Osten), section Northern Crusades. Then all the World Wars, starting with the Crimean! And don’t miss the First World Revolution, historian.
Hi. Had a nice conversation with my Polish neighbor, (landlady in building across the way.) I shared what I know with her, hoping it may have eased her mind some. She’s elderly. Confided to me about her husband’s parents, who were victims of Bandera’s OUN. Volyn massacre.
She said she hopes Russia is successful and that Ukraine is finally free of these monsters. Most people just carry on with this, I support Ukraine tripe. Oh, do you??! So you are supporting what exactly?!
Anyway. She’s a humble elderly lady, widowed. Always outside working. Enjoys nature. I find kinship with people like her and I’m grateful for them. We need their voices, experiences, memories to survive. Keep and nurture one’s roots. Told her she has nothing to be ashamed of for her views. I keep them between one another. Thank you again for your tireless, and fearless, efforts to inform us here in the West.
Sorry for your pain, Saker. Serbs in the West felt some of that in the 1990’s, too.
To anyone that questions your sympathies, you might ask: and what of the Russian speakers in eastern Ukraine? Were they to tolerate more of an 8 year war directed against them? Why?
Simple. Most people never speak up (against evil) and don’t like to make waves unless something affects them directly. People do not like to leave their comfort zone, it is just part of human nature and in a grand scheme it is much more peaceful than if everyone was always looking for an argument.
Now everyone in Ukraine is out of their comfort zone already. Time to show the cards.
Greetings Andrei,
You are, most assuredly, not alone. I can speak only for myself, but I am sure that your efforts have been a lifeline for so many people who seek only to know the truth. In this current tsunami of propaganda and, I am ashamed to say, Western hatred for all things Russian, your reports are more important than ever before. Please keep up the excellent work, and know that there is at least one Canadian who has, at least, some understanding of the current events.
I think there are many more Canadians here than one realizes. I think I found the blog in 2014 as well. Informative, but also another perspective to challenge what we think we know.
