The 2008 crisis was top-down – the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers came out of the blue to the average person. Contrarily, a result of the Western coronavirus overreaction, the 2020 economic implosion is building from the bottom-up: it will occur from the result of millions of tiny Lehmans throwing in the towel.
Reality was ignored for 12 years: small- and medium-sized businesses need as many rounds of QE as their corporate & high finance counterparts. Fatally for the West’s “real” economy, QE was hoarded instead of downloaned. They still aren’t getting loans: In the US only three million small businesses are getting federal aid out of 30 million – 90% remain frozen out of public policy.
There is a very important difference between the relative ease big companies can get back to work, and the enormous inertia faced by small businesses. Corporations can reportedly get back to normal in 5 to 8 weeks – this is why a corporate-focused media talked with such certainty about a “V-shaped” recovery when the Great Lockdown began. They ignored the outlook of the small businessperson, who often doesn’t have the savings to get back to work and, more crucially, maybe not even the desire.
Me, I never wanted to be a small-business owner – it seems like a LOT of stress for usually very little profit. And owning a restaurant, just so I can freak out twice a week over the possibility of being stuck with unsold fish? Pills are a much easier way to cause my early death. But only an inexperienced and judgmental teenage Che Guevara would not realise that these “humble capitalists” often display global values like hard work, thrift, diligence, etc.
Because of a dogmatic hatred towards capitalism and a disinterest in how economics works, many modern leftists foolishly do not include small proprietors in the proletariat (modern far-rightists do not dismiss their importance, however); and yet they do include craftsman, essentially entrepreneurs who can be even more overcharging, prone to bribery and lordly (nowhere more so than in Paris, in my experience). In France the precarious small shopkeeper is very often an ardent supporter of the Yellow Vests, for example.
The reality is that socialism is mostly a worldview, mindset and acceptance of an idealistic and never-ending task: to assume something about somebody because they are in a certain class or group is stupid prejudice. Deng Xiaoping rightly declared that journalists are in the working-class, and we are… but should we really include all those journalists who get paid an Uber-like/freelancer pittance and yet slavishly champion the upper class and their faux-values to class-jump as soon as possible?
The Western economy hinges on the loneliness of Mom and Pop – give them QE (and a phone call)
One one hand, all Westerners need to do is to get back to work (to satisfy their creditors even more than their Protestant workaholism) – who cares if nobody buys a car as long as cars are being made: Over-supply would be a temporary problem, but it would provide a solution to the problem of the lack of wages being paid. Once people have wages, then they can buy and reduce that oversupply.
On the other hand, many jobs are expressly about getting people to buy – retail, restaurants and many Mom and Pop shops, for example. But how can they put their Confucian values in practice when they aren’t allowed to open up their stores? To me it’s extremist and absurd: After all these weeks we really can’t arrange ANY safe way for Mom and Pop to sell some goods for even ONE hour a day?
There’s another problem just as big – the long-term depression of consumer demand which seems like a certain outcome of the Great Lockdown: what’s the point of opening up when finally allowed if consumers are so scared of making purchases that nobody shows up to buy? The compounding parallel problem of not having any wages to buy with also applies here.
The prospect of multi-month loneliness and poverty for the small business owner is thus a huge variable in the determining the severity of the upcoming economic chaos.
Furthermore, a lot of what small businesses sell isn’t actually necessary – you can, in fact, just eat at home. Yet most Western economies are consumer economies heavily predicated on consumption; why anybody needed a yearly iPhone upgrade was only explained by the University of Missouri’s Thorstein Veblen and his theory of conspicuous consumption, but how will you know if you are impressing the opposite sex when they’re all wearing masks? (LOL, this is not a good era to be single!)
Many business owners are going to have a light flipped on – they don’t need the hassle anymore. They’re going to shut the lights before the bank repossesses the light bulbs, and live off the public dole while they brainstorm and query contacts for a new job. So not only will they be added to the unemployment ranks but – even worse – their employees as well. Corporate layoffs make the headlines but small businesses provide half of all jobs in the US.
Another thing is certain – this can only happen once: a second Great Lockdown is a financial impossibility for the Mom and Pop shop, and likely stroke-inducing as well.
Yet many nations are planning exactly that: staggering and dragging out lockdowns through the summer, like France’s insane (but still tentative) plan to shut down both international and domestic tourism even though it’s at least 10% of their economy. The Eurozone has a huge competitive advantage upon reopening because they actually cared about protecting jobs and supply chains – he who restarts first, and better, captures market share – but their policy-making idiots are poised to squander it via prolonged lockdowns.
If we extend “the greatest economic shock in our lifetimes” then it is no longer just a “shock” but a long-term policy; this policy is not something which small businesspeople can withstand without QE injections similar to what big banks have been given to prevent their own bankruptcies.
What’s certain is that half of all US small business owners said they could only last two months under Great Lockdown conditions – 80% of Americans were on lockdown on April 1.
Hubei was locked down for 76 days, with CCP members bringing people food thanks to a modern, 99%-focused, socialist-inspired democracy (with both direct and indirect aspects, just like West democracy) which actually listens to the needs of their people. That’s a “good” lockdown, which the West cannot/will not do for their 99%. Anybody who said in January, “The neoliberal Western economy has safeguards which would allow it to survive two months of no profit-making/wage-making,” would surely have been laughed at, after all.
I have crunched the data and May 17 should be circled on your calendars as the “tipping point”. If the Great Lockdown is not rolled back by then, there is no going back – the West’s Everything Bubble 2 economy will have been popped by the corona hysteria.
Western policymakers only understand corporate psychology, not Mom and Pop’s, nor that of (working, single) Mom
The stories from the US lower classes are just staggering: The Chicago Tribune’s Feeling hopeless? Worried? Chicago-area pandemic survey shows you’re not alone was not a emotion-focused piece – its poll found that a stunning 42% of locals think it’s unlikely they will have a job by the end of May, and that 23% had run out of food in the last month and had no money to buy more. That portends economic catastrophe.
Such a study of the general public is not an outlier: Over half of poor US households say someone has already been fired or taken a paycut, and that study was from two weeks ago.
I could not be more sympathetic to US workers, who are basically third-world in their instability: Eighty percent of Americans live from paycheck to paycheck, which is a very tiny step above daily hand-to-mouth. From the beginning I have said that they should not go back to work in unsafe conditions but… it is America! What else can they do in a system geared towards the aristocrat/landlord/massa like in the 18th century? Leftists say that the needs of the average worker must be considered by Western policy and I agree, but back in March I was realistic that this type of a “cultural revolution” would not be taking place by the end of April – it has not.
Anybody advocating a three-month Great Lockdown until July 1 simply isn’t working within realistic paradigms: by then supply chains will break down, goods will be in short supply and thus prices will increase amid the “liquidity issues” of the lower class masses. Corporations will join their small-business counterparts with bankruptcies and layoffs. Dogmatic leftists insist that factory workers are oh so very much more rightly-guided and politically knowledgable than Mom and Pop Shopkeeper – so then why are US autoworkers planning to reopen on May 18?
Considering how many Western invasions and blockades are launched to control it, we’d be remiss not to mention oil: storage will run out as early as May 18. Capping and restarting wells is extremely difficult, with no guarantee a restarted well will return to the same production level. Can we imagine the world’s oil producers shutting down and what long-term effects that could have on the “lifeblood of the modern economy”? This alone seems to make a May restart vital.
But in the Western system it’s all about the banks:
After three months of Great Lockdown the stresses on their banking system will be unprecedented and well-beyond the designs of any post-2008 government-regulated “stress tests”. At what point do they say – and corporate banks have essentially already said this, even if community banks realise their viability is tied to their local Main Street: “We don’t have the ability, the bureaucratic size and efficiency, the will, nor the profit motive to work through round after necessary round of small loans,”? What Mom and Pop needed was direct government loans, but in the Western anti-socialist/anti-government “bankocracies” they are forced to go through these parasitic middlemen first, last and always.
The fatal flaw of this very Western system should now be totally exposed: Bankers can very easily quit and say, “I didn’t sign up to save the Western economy,” but that is exactly what neoliberals expect them to do, because they refuse to – sensibly – hand this task to government. Bankers became bankers to get rich, of course. Small businesses held out hope (and held back on layoffs) of government assistance only to be reminded that they have no influence in a Western system dominated by very high-priced “free speech” (and lobbyists).
Perhaps the good news is that we shouldn’t care about stock prices anymore: they will go up, always. Even though there is no way that corporate profitability will return until 2022 or 2023, the past couple months have merely seen a “bull-market pause”, LOL. This is due to the official confirmation of what everybody already knew: central banks will print money to enable stock buying and now also corporate debt – capitalist fundamentals no longer matter.
Western media focuses on the stock market, and the needs of corporations, and only rarely can even see as far as protecting supply chains, but they do not care about Mom and Pop – focusing on them are mere “human interest” stories. However, ignoring the lower classes is the hallmark of the Western aristocratic/bourgeois liberal system – making the lower classes the priority has only ever been documented in socialist-inspired systems.
At heart we have three main issues driving this bottom-up implosion: 1) policymakers who only do anything as a result of high finance, 2) policymakers who don’t understand the needs and psychology of the lower classes, and 3) policymakers who underestimate the enormous economic importance of the lower classes. There is a solution to push back my fail-by date: Massive, rapid and new rounds of People’s QE (i.e. to workers and small businesses) – merely extending the extra $600 unemployment benefits until July 31 won’t be nearly enough, but anyway those Unemployment benefits will be reduced after July 31.
Why my May 17 assessment is so very rightly-guided
Readers know this is a historic era: We are currently in the middle of the worst Ramadan month ever. It’s like the Christmas season has been cancelled.
The 23rd night of Ramadan for Shia is known as the last of the “Night of Destiny” (27th for Sunni, but the night must be “searched for” among the odd-numbered nights of last 10 days as the exact date was never revealed) – this is when it is believed that Mohammad received the Koran’s first verses. Many stay up the whole night worshipping and meditating because the rewards of prayer on the Night of Destiny are better than those of a thousand months combined. It is also the night when God issues his annual decree for what will happen over the next year, thus “Night of Decree” is actually a better translation of Laylat al-Qadr.
This year the 23rd night likely falls on May 16, and – while you will surely allege that I am biased – I think it is very appropriate to say that this is the night upon which the fate of Western neoliberal economics hinges. Thus, if Western leaders do not start acting correctly – which many would view as a Ramadan miracle – it seems certain that their economic fate will be determined by the morning of May 17.
Perhaps what the West’s leaders may have needed was a culture which regularly allows for times of humility and reflection, and for putting a temporary stop to ambition and worldly grasping? Not necessarily an Islamic culture – as Islam is forbidden to be imposed, which is why there are no missionaries – but something which allows space for these ideals, and the neoliberal form of capitalism decidedly does not.
Going until June 17 and still avoiding bottom-up economic catastrophe? You must be out of touch with the lower classes. Until July 17? You must be a lab-bound epidemiologist with a very comfortable salary, savings and home. Until August 17? You are either hysterical, or plan to profit from human suffering, or plan to have your guns blazing amid the West’s World War III.
Still scoffing at my Islamic socialist analysis, eh? FYI: if you didn’t have usury (compound/excessive interest) you probably wouldn’t be in such a huge mess in the first place. But fine, let’s use capitalist competition as our gauge: Do you really think the West’s Great Recession/anti-interventionist economy is even 75% as capable as China’s 76-day Hubei lockdown? That would equate to a May 28 opening.
No, by May 16 most of us will be praying for divine help and for a very, very different calendar year to come – they can give this year back to the Indians, as far as I am concerned. On May 17 that year will be permanently set in motion.
Please note that my date is just a prediction and educated guess – I am certainly not the decree-issuer! And, full disclosure: many have said for many years that I am obviously not even rightly-guided.

Ramin Mazaheri is the chief correspondent in Paris for Press TV and has lived in France since 2009. He has been a daily newspaper reporter in the US, and has reported from Iran, Cuba, Egypt, Tunisia, South Korea and elsewhere. He is the author of the books ‘I’ll Ruin Everything You Are: Ending Western Propaganda on Red China’ and the upcoming ‘Socialism’s Ignored Success: Iranian Islamic Socialism’.
Mr. Mazaheri’s “Islamic Socialist Analysis” certainly presents many compelling arguments in reference to the Economic disasters awaiting the Western Economies by Mid May. Could the present “over reaction” to the Corona Virus ; not be an ignorant and well meaning overreaction ; but actually be a Conscious Strategy by the Elites to bring the World to it’s knees?. A Wharton Business School Graduate happens to be the potus. Can Pesident Trump really be blind to the fact that the Financial bail outs are being done with” Parker Bros” currency?. The authors praise of the present Chinese approach to economic solutions { Hubai } ; in comparison to the West’s leads one to wonder if he would like to emigrate to China. Anglo Zionist is really a term which means ; Talmudic Jewish operations aided and abetted by { soon to be discarded } non Tribal allies. Of course this path by most Governments will end tears. It was meant too. Another strain of Virus….or some other unprecedented catastrophe is probably waiting in the wings. Humanity is in for a very rough ride. Has anyone looked skyward to view the ; still present and intensive particulate spray from all those cancelled Commercial flights ? Mr. Mazaheri’s sources are well worth reading. Thank him for that.
You raise some interesting points, which need careful consideration. Yes, it is looking like the western world is deliberately trashing its own already fragile economies. If this is the case, then this intentional financial armageddon would have to be a part of a bigger plan. We can’t know what might be planned next, but another round of stronger strain coronavirus doesn’t seem all that improbable. Also the upcoming and lockdown lifting vaccine may be a very major player, perhaps even turning out be the “other unprecedented catastrophe” you talk about. Of course, real war with China, Russia, or Iran, may never be too far away.
All of the Abrahamic religions are false. They all worship the power of the snake, i.e. deception. They feed off of the fear. They absorb energy from the agitated state of fear. What better way to incite fear than a plannedemic. They will consolidate more power from this pandemic by increasing the power of the governments that they control. Consider the symbol of the AMA. Never trust an organization that worships the snake. Bio-warfare is now their preferred method of waging war.
To answer your question at the end, f reps: Why, yes! At least this one person has noticed how the “contrails” remain. So, that makes two of us.
You are rightly guided.
Brother Blue Iconoclast
Great post!
Too many important details and apercus to comment on, and really, who cares what I think?
In fact, one of the lockdown phenomena I notice in myself is a gradual sinking of an ability to care about much at all. That is, pepole get used to not having something they were used to having before, and rebooting that desire also requires a certain amount of energy!!
Could this be social entropy?
Similar to Ramin’s speculation that a lot of people who have worked hard all of their lives will pack it in at this point—the idea of working hard all of one’s life to get somewhere and perhaps leave a functioning business to one’s children. Why bother?
Could this be anomie??
UBI or is that UIB on the way? Somehow this doesn’t seem like much of a solution to me. Many people who run small businesses actually love what they do, or they love their business, or they love what they were able to build. Or it was the only way to get out of the ratrace. Obviously, despite the corporate “Working with you! We Care! We are your partner:” bumpph, small businesses in fact are the businesses that embedded and entwined in their communities, where there is a chance that proprietors know or at least recognize their customers. So, there is a social and psychic reward for running the damn business. I am thinking more hardware or corner store here than boutique restaurant . . . That is, essential businesses. (I suppose in France cafes are essential businesses, but not in the USA—terrible business. But I suppose that some restaurants do perpetuate and even advance the culture—even in the USA.)
Anyhow, to notable quote from the piece:
“The fatal flaw of this very Western system should now be totally exposed: Bankers can very easily quit and say, “I didn’t sign up to save the Western economy,” but that is exactly what neoliberals expect them to do, because they refuse to – sensibly – hand this task to government. ”
But why do you say “sensibly”? It seems to me that actuallly the government/state should be running the banks, and steering the economy. Not letting the banks run themselves and not outsourcing steering the economy to banks . . .
Back to watching the grass grow . . .
Katherine
John Michael Greer said last week that once a whole lot of people in the salaried class have been forced out of the rat race and required to watch the grass grow, they will discover that there is much more to life than jam-packed trains and tiny cubicles. Some of them might never go back. Likewise he says the education system will lose a lot of students, as their parents decide to homeschool.
He would also agree with Ramin that the elite running this have much more confidence in their overview of the situation than is warranted. The upstairs/downstairs syndrome results in them hearing “Yes sir! Yes ma’am!” a lot and seeing heart-warming sincerity that does not in fact exist. From a historical perspective, here we go again. Keep a low profile and do not be tempted to get involved in whatever revolution results from this.
” Keep a low profile and do not be tempted to get involved in whatever revolution results from this.”
Good advice.
Katherine
PS. Keeping a low profile might mean getting land line, and leaving the “ear barnacle” at home except for emergency communications (when traveling alone).
Katherine
I’ve never had a cell phone, but it might not be the best way to keep a low profile. Probably best to have one, keep it in the glove compartment and use it for emergencies and occasional texting of chitchat.
Well shoot… that’s coming right up, ain’t it? I continue to notice that all the salaried knuckleheads I associate with these days the mantra continues to be “better safe than sorry,” as if safety is ever remotely guaranteed in the first place. But that’s the price we pay for whatever remains of first world decadence these days. I’m sure their tune will change quick once the salaried class comes heavily on the chopping block, which might be a whole lot sooner than most of us think. First they came for the working class, but I wasn’t a member, so I said nothing…
This is one of the best articles I have seen ever during this tragic Covid-19 time. Your analysis reveals how devoid of thinking we are in our western mentality. This country (USA) and even the western world, is made up of the Christian tradition but our actual reality resembles the dream of Nebuchadnezzar: a giant with the head of gold but with the feet of clay.
In that light, pride is the foundation of our society to the exclusion of any other values including Christianity. Christianity emerged when Jesus of Nazareth came announcing God’s kingdom within the religious tradition of ancient Israel. New Testament scripture reveals how Jesus came to fulfill the Law as opposed to abolish it.
The Law of Moses includes the Year of Jubilee (Lev. 25). The year of the Jubilee was celebrated every fifty years. At that time, if anybody had lost their freedom becoming a servant to cover debts, or lost a property to make ends meet, the debts and obligations were reset and the original personal freedom/property rights were restored. Wonderful concept that is included in Christianity.
The New Testament gives every person in the world the right to the Year of Jubilee. The problem is that the early Christians were not an influential group within the Roman Empire and in the next three hundred years they were a marginal group in society. Enter Emperor Constantine.
Constantine, claimed to have had a vision were he saw the sign of the cross which included a message “By this sign you shall triumph.” Constantine followed the vision and Christianity became an imperial religion which included the Jewish Scriptures but ignored the Year of Jubilee.
Were we to adopt this vital element in our practice of Christianity, the world may have, minimum, the conscience that the world is God’s not ours. We could still follow science during events such Covid-19 but at the end of the fifty years, we will be free from debt and those who managed to accumulate will restore property and cancel debts.
This is just a note to your article just to show that we have strong foundations for a better and just world where the Rothchilds and similar people will not stand in the way of hope for a better future.
Great observation! But don’t forget what happens to the image and the feet of clay!
“You looked on until a stone was cut out, not by hands, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and of clay and crushed them….
…In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever” Daniel 2:34, 44
Don’t think so. Trump will just print more dollars and channel them to the consumers to support consumption. He may even abolish tariffs to help the US consumer and prevent a depression. How many dollars will he print? Well as much as he needs to make the US economy stay afloat. Multiple upon multiple trillions!
And as you averred before, the US dollar will depreciate much. Neither will there be runaway hyperinflation in the US.
Why’s that? Well that is because the whole world is actually financing the US economy since the USD can be used to buy (read plunder) the entire globe’s resources, goods and services – whatever the American consumers need at whatever amount. It is also a currency that investors run to for safety. Also needed for trade – at least for now and the near future.
Now is there anything wrong with the above calculation?
The whole con-game will end when the US can no longer enforce the use of the US dollar.
Will happen when the US could no longer afford the money to maintain the US military ala the late great USSR.
And when the whole world no longer needs the US dollar for trade, beginning when cash-strapped oil-producing gulf states start to sell their oil for any currency currently in the IMF’s basket of currencies other than the US dollar.
However, the US may still be able to control the basket of currencies and skews the use towards the US dollar with their control of the international banking system. So happy days will return, or will they?
Until the arrival of the block-chained sovereign Digital Yuan leading a coterie of digital currencies of the BRI countries. Then the whole mafia con-plunder enterprise will collapse.
Hahaha! We may yet see the US dollar being smoked as cigarette wrappers.
@ Simon Chow,
I also believe that the economic collapse will unfold in the US as you stated. It seems to be the only possible way to avoid further suffering for the US people.
China has recently launched a Digital Currency Electronic Payment, so we may see changes sooner rather than later…

Give us a break Ramin!
Iran is not something that many people in the West aspire to. The Mullahs continued exactly the same policies of the Shah – centralisation of power and wealth in Tehran. Why do you think the population of Tehran doubled in the past 30 years?
If you want to fart in Isfahan or Mashad or Tabriz or Qom or Bandar Abbas etc., you must ask Tehran for permission.
Whether you like it or not, we are going to have to decentralise dramatically. Tehran will have let go of its tight leash on the provinces. But the same will have with Washington, London, Paris, Moscow and so on. It is a matter of survival. The drop in oil prices should focus some minds.
Well seeing Iran is a mighty small country compared to the rest of the world I can’t really see as they play a very large part in it,perhaps unless you live in Iran that paying attention to the corruption within your own country would be far more productive then harping on Iran. Now here in the U.S. we are facing what the old USSR went thru,oh they say it can never happen but look at the debt, the value of the dollar, the lost in prestige as we went around robbing medical supplies intended for other countries, and they won’t forget that very quickly, millions will never be recalled once the virus is over, unemployment will meet or exceed the numbers of 1929, manufacturing for that’s all been outsourced won’t be able to help to drag us out of what’s coming. Many say that we are a wealthy nation but in reality we are a very sad broke bankrupt nation and people will increase their payment in trade by using any currency other than the inflation load dollar,!!!
Ramin, I am in my late youth. I like reading your articles eventhough sometimes its hard to read because of technical and information reason. My question is as a muslim. Do you think that getting microchip and 5g is the same as submitting to Dajjal? Because you know, the antichrist is trying to poorly impersonate as the messiah. and in the quran, one of his miracle is that he can ‘tell what you have been eating and what are the things that you kept in your home.’
This won’t answer your question……………..but Alexa/Siri knows what you are eating and what things you keep in your home……although that doesn’t fall under miracle, it just made me think, perhaps an antichrist tool?
The Western powers are illegitimate in their own terms. The mere fact that they imposed this lockdown as a response to a virus that by China’s estimates in January 2020 was potentially serious for no more than 20% of those infected demonstrates either their total incompetence or their malicious intent. I would argue the latter.
The entire approach to the lockdown has been pure propaganda. Scare stories abound, models predicting death rates that are much too high, suppression of possible cures in favor of a suspect vaccine 18 months from now. Endless media hype to wear masks on beaches or in the country not to mention closure of hiking trails and the same beaches. Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube suppression of dissenting opinion. This is a malevolent propaganda exercise meant to create a false reality.
The last 10 years have demonstrated that the essence of modern Western capitalism is scavenger capitalism. The policy is to use constrained aggregate demand (Austerity) to squeeze the weaker firms and households and to use cheap loans to favorites to buy up the released assets at fire sale prices, whether domestically or abroad. At times of crisis such as now this policy may be accelerated, bailing out the select and scooping up the assets of the ruined.
The West really does need revolution. A Mao or a Hitler, not in ideology, but in determination to found their own new order and willing to pay any price to sweep the old order away. The proposed new order may even keep the Constitution, but it would be ruthless towards current politicians and high officials in both the state and Federal governments. It would surely sweep the party system away and forbid political parties both in state elections and Federal. It would sensibly force the decentralization of capital and impose draconian punishments on any who advocate otherwise. All of this could be written into the Constitution as after the Civil War driven by advocates who will not brook no for an answer.
Yes, this will likely cost blood, and have an uncertain outcome, but history has shown that blood is sometimes necessary to end great evils. The current order has shown its true colors. It will continue until it grinds its populations into the dirt. If this did not happen after 2008-2009 and if it does not happen in 2020 then it will happen in 2030 or sooner. The trend is deliberately down and the spirit behind it is malevolent. Suffer its continuance at your peril.
If revolution fails the end result will be the same. The outcome will only be a little faster. The West is under a Banker occupation whose sentiments exemplify the worst of the Nazi and Stalinist regimes. These Bankers merely take a longer view, move slowly, and have better PR artists to put a positive spin on their policies. We shall all be slowly boiled like the proverbial frogs. The process is now well along to its final denouement even now. We can no longer avoid the conclusion that open terror is coming. We must act accordingly and look to people in opposition who possess determination.
We need not look to Islam to see the writing on the wall. If anything Mr. Mazaheri is pulling his punches in the above discussion. What does he think will be both the action and reaction after May 17th? What will the US government do, for example, if it faces real rebellion on this or any date? The US has a history in these matters. Who is afraid to die?
A military coup fostered by the nation’s best and the brightest is the only possible solution. That’s a tall order, as most of the military’s senior leadership has already been bought and paid for as well, but it’s still at least theoretically possible. If nothing else they could lock down the nuclear assets and cut off the ANZ cabal’s access to things that go boom. If even a serious feint toward such an event were carried out it would, if nothing else, seriously upset the status quo in DC, Wall St, London, and Jerusalem and possibly send the traitorous rats scurrying for long enough to seize control. Question is after that, are there any among them with the charisma and wisdom to actually lead in the aftermath? It’s our only hope, because the masses don’t have the capability nor the inclination to carry out such an endeavor. As it is now, the military and the national police state will be used to quash any potential rebellion in its tracks, just as they have always done. Starving and broke formerly “first world” people might be desperate and seriously pissed off, but an effective resistance force they ain’t.
They’re gonna keep this plumpy piggy flying till every one of these FRED site acronyms read “TILT”!
Or till they run out of placeholders in the fields.
Till Kim Kong resurfaces with a new even catchier chick magnet haircut.
OR, till Mr T. somewhere soon in his 2nd term (result guaranteed, comrades!) has to undergo a name change, from “T. as in tariffs, trillions, Twittler, tomorrow, whatever” to I dunno, pick a higher letter .

Another way to see what you’re saying:
look about 1/3 down left of center “DEFENSE/WAR: $688B”—think they’re ever going to give up that golden goose?
(I think that includes military pensions, many tens of thousands US mil. retirees are living overseas to keep col down).

Don’t pin your hopes on a coup by the people doing the dirty work for corporate interests.
Who would lead the coup?
Do The People get a say in the matter?
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss. We got fooled again.
Yeah, no hopes pinned whatsoever. That said, “The People” have long since forfeited their right to have a say. They forfeited it all for false promises of “safety and security.” Silly people! And you’re right, the other side of a coup – the part where the revolutionaries assume responsibility for cleaning up the mess they’ve inherited – is always the hard part. Therefore, back to square one, collapse is the only alternative.
The entire approach to the lockdown has been pure propaganda. Scare stories abound, models predicting death rates that are much too high, suppression of possible cures in favor of a suspect vaccine 18 months from now.
Another clear sequence of them pushing & pushing, not letting up is this latest scare story, nearly 1 lifetime after the killer bees’ got out’ of a lab in Brazil in the 50’s supposedly.
It’s been in Asia forever, even known there in japan, where the article picture is from notice, as the ‘pumpkin wasp’,
clearly indicating it’s at least omnivorous.
yet it magically made its malevolent debut here now?!–I suspect THIS will be the peddled cover story going forward for the 20-year now disappearance of the honeybees, not the true causes we all know which will now only accelerate this trend.
Their geomagnetic field direction sensors right in the eye behind the retina special cells get scrambled by any RF. They can’t navigate back to the hive, run out of energy, & die.
ALL higher animals have this, including say dogs, cats, humans, yet unknown why their sense of direction is so acute vs. humans.
Even the first gen. cellular phones/frequencies were doing it, but has got way worse with 4g and very soon here 5g.
Combined with bayer’s introduction 1990’s of the deadly toxic neo-nicotinoid class pesticides, it’s been real hell on earth for them since 1990’s.

The Asian giant hornet (Vespa mandarinia) has arrived in North America. In the past several days photographs and videos have surfaced showing how viciously this insect has attacked honeybees: it crawls into hives and rips off the heads of bees in large numbers—making its supervillain nickname, “murder hornet,” feel disturbingly apt.
Sounds like they got the name wrong. Vespa Capitalista might be more appropriate.
“Their geomagnetic field direction sensors right in the eye behind the retina special cells get scrambled by any RF. They can’t navigate back to the hive, run out of energy, & die.

Wow, I didn’t know this. I explains what happened to my cat.
I had given my cat to a friend because my landlady would not let me keep her.
The cat acclimated to the new location and lived there happily for years. She was a very good mouser. But by now she was no longer a young cat.
A friend of this friend (so to speak) had a lot of mice in her barn. My friend took the cat over to this barn, 10 miles away, in an area where the cat had never been.
A week later the cat showed up again at my friend’s house. ???
I suggested that I would take the cat over to the barn and stay with her there to help her get reacclimated.
Well, without telling me, my friend took the cat back to the barn.
Much later I was told about this second trip—but that the cat soon ran away. This second time she didn’t make it back home. Probably something killed her.
I had no idea that cats have a similar geosensor as bees. It is no wonder things are getting messed up. As for humansm most of them don’t have a clue as to what north/south/east/west actually mean. Without GPS hand holding they cannot find a thing.
My condolences on the loss of your cat. We lost a very dear cat the same way last year. All of the cats in our neighborhood disappeared right about when they brought in smart meters. Once in a while, one comes through from somewhere else, but never stays. It is rare to see them anywhere now.
When they started 4G in my village, the bees disappeared from the vegetable patch by our house. When they brought in smart meters, the bees disappeared from our large field, which was bordered by houses with seven smart meters. The black kites disappeared from that area too, along with most other birds. This year, when they started up 5G (or maybe it was just 4G+), the black kites disappeared from the outlying fields and are very uncommon in our village now, whereas they used to be abundant.
I was part of a group of citizens who went to the government (Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Japan) and warned them about these and other scientifically demonstrated effects of artificial radiofrequency radiation, but they just said “There’s no proof.” I am reminded of a cult of people who have convinced themselves of their own invincibility to poison or bullets. I can protect myself of some degree. The birds and bees cannot. The bureaucrats and their masters will not.
(OT, but the murder hornets were gone from our field too. They used to devastate the blueberries. I’d just take a pair of long scissors and snip them in half when they came and I know of people with beehives who stand by them with a baseball bat. Last summer the blueberries were devastated by simple lack of pollination.)
I guess people’s memories are not considered scientific evidence . . .
It is spring here in North America, lots of wildflowers are blooming. I certainly seem to recall that flowers such as wild strawberries, flowering fruit trees, and others used to be abuzz in the spring, but now it is special to see a bumble bee. In fact I wrote a short piece a long time ago about the audible buzzing one could hear when one walked under linden trees in bloom—bees all over them. Lindenhonig.
How anything gets pollinated is a mystery to me, since there are so few visible insects. And where is the honey supposed to come from?
I do see swifts of some kind zooming around above the river in the early evening, so they must be catching something.

Most dangerous time window of the year here entered a few days ago, and goes through to appx. the .37 decimal part of year.
Way way more not little disasters, panics, war starts than all of rest of year any ‘bunched’ time clumps.
Easy to see past 300 years, especially with internet, just find them & place them.
.345= MAY6; .370= may15; so yes a small allowance out to may 17= .377 looks right.
just some:
1837.356;
1846.365 war;
1893.345 Barings bank (also happened 1890.85!);
1884.367;
1922.27- 1922.38 Genoa Conference;
1930.376 BIS Basel running;
1945.35 V-E Day WW II Europe;
1931.36 Anstaldt Austria;
So, hope that Mr.T in this critical time doesn’t lose his hotline to Larry Could be Moe, his esteemed economics advisor.

The banks must be feeling the pinch, there is evidence that not only is there internal strife, they are using over aggressive predatory methods to prop up the bottom line. This only occurs b/c a desperate people are having to resort to desperate means during a time of economic crisis, there appears to be no limit to the extent that these crooks will go to too sap the less fortunate.
All the Western economies are now being subject to a Great Deflation.
Many people cannot now pay their credit card bills, monthly rent, student loans, car lease payments, property taxes and come winter their heating bills, despite the fall in gas and heating oil prices. Their jobs are not going to be reinstated by wishful thinking. Defaults on mortgage payments will be huge, but this will not stop the banks foreclosing and making even more folk homeless. It is going to be a humongous disaster for the majority of the population that politicians cannot see or are deliberately enacting policies that will exacerbate the situation even more. So who benefits, when the economy collapses ?
But the banks must also be sweating bullets, these people dont have collateral, if they get kicked out on the street, the bank is still stuck with the loss, just how many times can or will the gvt, on the backs of the taxpayer, recapitalize these banks? How many courts can process all these backlogged cases, I just might have to wander into the court house to see if business is taking place and if any judges have fallen face first onto their gavels.
Their is a tsunami of debt already flooding the treasury, add in some derivatives, stress tests the banks, and wave a magic wand to save the airlines, car companies, oil companies, unemployment, ect, and just how many straws can one camel carry before said camel turns into a donkey and says, no moore.
It has the ring of sept 08 when there was all confidence until that one fateful day when all hell broke loose.
No matter what scam someone is running, what criminal enterprise they are operating, there is always a time limit on it.
From stealing hubcaps to pulling bank jobs, to scamming little old ladies out of their pensions. Either someone gets wise and catches up with you,
Or you get cocky, lazy, or whatever, and start getting sloppy, or old, or slow, or whatever, and it starts falling apart.
Either way, it always comes to an end, sooner or later.
The banks always create money out of thin air using a computer keystroke. This means that they can write off the bad debts and create more money as long as someone takes out a loan. But who can take on debt in a deflationary environment ? No doubt it will be the hedge funds, who will buy up all the foreclosed homes. I wonder what the banks will do with all the repossessed cars. I suppose that they could sell them at knockdown prices.
Thats what the banks have already basically been doing , cars go to auction, houses get to auction after small repairs are done to them, the banks have been milking this cow since 08. And now as you say who (as with consumer, not a buyer/flipper) can take on a purchase in this new environment, maybe the hedge funds are on thin ice, and their sweat is dropping down on the banks.
I see a snowball 1/2 way down the hill, getting bigger and faster at each turn of the sphere, at the bottom are larger and larger food lines of cars, the system cant keep getting moore inefficient and expect to remain sustainable and solvent into the future, its bad now, if it gets worse the cracks in the system will start to show as the citizens do rise up in greater and greater #’s, and revolt.
Maybe, every once in a great in a while, the stars align, lightning strikes, and one of those good old ‘freak occurances’ occur, and you get busted that way, right?
You just never know, until it happens… Then you do.
What like “bust” a politician? So then they will know.
” just how many times can or will the gvt, on the backs of the taxpayer, recapitalize these banks? ‘
And where are the tax revenues going to come from if no one is working?
I started wondering about this decades ago, in the 1990s, with the first (I think) waves of job losses and offshoring. If jobs are offshored, who pays the tax to keep the govt going at all?
And, local govts are dependent on property taxes.
If (most) people don’t have a job they can’t pay the mortgage; they can’t pay property taxes; the house is sold off cheap; the assessment is lowered; local taxes take a dive.
Local services suffer. Maybe even the rich start to notice it and move to gated communities.

Latest propaganda tactic launched today by Powell is Fri 8th FED claiming in NOV/2020 going to NIRP (Negative interest = direct bank tax ‘paid’ on deposits in banks), things all around must be desperate, NIRP already in use by BOJ several years now, and Swiss, and EU some shorter time now in.
Note timing of launch. All pure orchestrated planned timeline by these smug control freaks to maintain as smooth a paved path as possible for the Great Orange Hope’s second coming.
But, What if they throw a curveball & decide that to please all the sheeple, they’ll install a co-office instead, like 2016?

Part Two, in which our heroes, their purpose almost accomplished, are discovered creeping up to the covid19 vaccines.
‘Shh… ‘cautions Rusky, ‘there is someone under the pallet of covid19 vaccines trying to lift it by himself.’
‘He must be mad, whispered Bump.
Bump then hears that same song he last heard on No Sweat Airlines baggage hold. ‘I dy dum dy dee.’
‘What are you doing out after feeding time Bidden?’
‘I signed a contract that fooled me – fooled me mark you – into taking this covid19 vaccines back to New York.’
‘What? You must be an idiot to sign a contract like that. Heh heh. Now help me get this covid19 vaccines back to Washington. Together… lift.’
They all strain to lift the covid19 vaccines.
‘Watch… heave… No, no, no. It’s too heavy. It’s too heavy,’ states Bump. ‘Put it down.’
‘Here… it’s lighter when you let go, i’n’ it?’ said Bidden with the understanding he was destined for greater heights as a future President.
Finally they managed, by sweating and struggling, to get Vladivostoc’s covid19 vaccines outside.
McArthur the individual that consumed Bump breakfast was waiting. ‘Halt! Hand over those covid19 vaccines in the name of Moscow FSB.’
Bump replied, ‘McArthur take off that baseball cap! We know you’re not Russian.’
‘You must let me have that covid19 vaccines, you see… I… I foolishly signed a contract that forces me to…’ replied McArthur.
‘Yes, yes, we know.’
‘Oh oh, so you..’
‘We’re all in the same boat. We have no money, so the only way to get the covid19 vaccines back to Washington is to float it back. Across the Atlantic… ‘
—————————
The scene shifts to the Vladistoc harbour with waves and seagulls.
Bump shouts, ‘All aboard HMS covid19 vaccines! Cast off!’
Later, down below Bump writes; ‘The log of Vladivostoc’s covid19 vaccines. December the third… second week in Pacific. Very seasick. No food. No water. McArthur down with the Lurgi. Joe Bidden up with the lark.’
McArthur speaks weakly, ‘Bump, take over the rudder. I can’t steer any more. Great galloping crabs! Look in the sky. It’s a helicopter. We are saved!’
Bump looks up, ‘By St George, saved! Yes! They’re lowering a man on a rope. Have you come to save us?’
A man in uniform lands on deck and steps back to salute. ‘I have come to rescue you, yes Mr President.’
Bump, ‘what about the covid19 vaccines?’
‘covid19 vaccines? These are not covid19 vaccines. This is lemonade.’
‘It is Vladivostoc’s covid19 vaccines.’
‘No.. no, it is not.’
‘It is.’
‘No, it isn’t.’
‘It’s Vladivostoc’s covid19 vaccines.’
‘No, this is lemonade. We know because it is in the area of the testing range.’
‘ Testing range? I’ve never heard so much rubbish in all my…’
Suddenly a Wheeeee… BOOOM!
———————————–
What do you think, dear viewers? Were they carrying lemonade? Or was it Vladivostoc’s covid19 vaccines? Send your suggestions to anybody but us. And for those who would prefer a happy ending, here it is.
A door opens and a tall handsome white haired man called Bill enters out of breath calling, ‘Pompeo! Pompeo!’
‘ Darling.’
‘Pompeo… I’ve… I’ve found work, darling. I’ve got a job.’
‘Oh Bill. I’m so glad for you… What is it, darling?’
‘Darling, all I’ve got to do is to move a covid19 vaccines from one room to another… and give a speech in Moscow’ and begins to laugh madly.’
I loved seeing your analysis informed by religion, and I loved learning more about Islamic thought. Thank you for sharing that aspect with us. I let my own religion inform my predictions, too, but am very hesitant to talk about it.
As I was reading this, I realized Buddhism (or at least the Shingon Buddhist side of Japan’s Shugendo–syncretic mountain ascetics) has a conception of “The Devil,” especially as he appeared to Jesus Christ in the desert. They just don’t personify it. It is simply “worldly desires.” Yesterday I transcribed a short sutra of the Shingon Sect to the Wisdom King–he looks like the Devil, but the sutra says, “O Buddha of anger: destroy my worldly passions! Crush them, please.”
On the 16th–let’s see, Saturday–I shall fast and meditate on this, and pray that the Great Divine be merciful.
> can’t arrange ANY safe way for Mom and Pop to sell some goods for even ONE hour a day?
it is not “even” it is “especially”
“ONE hour a day” = bottleneck
bottleneck = crowd
crowd = increased infection risk
Unless one totally denies Covid existence or danger rhetoric about “even one hour” is anti-rational
And if one does deny, then it is unneeded and irrelevant
What about using social distancing? It’s just a store and not a stadium.
The Zionist Entity may already be planning a second lockdown following a second wave. Netanyahu hinted at that very clearly. The rest of the world may follow.
Absolutely to be expected. I’m thinking 2-3 rounds of C19, followed by additional rounds of whatever variant(s) they’ve got in stock after that. Likewise, probably highly targeted for lethality, with just enough collateral damage to keep everyone else guessing and enable wide-spread lock downs. This is by far the best control measure they’ve come up with yet, so I’d expect them to milk it fully in conjunction with conventional wars, knock-on food shortages, supply line and income disruptions, and the utter destruction of public health systems everywhere. Then, as the terror factor from all that finally begins to wear off after a year or two, the final coup de grace, release of a true super bug that seriously addresses overpopulation and dissent once and for all.
Yep, the evil freaks & their serpent servants are out to repeat history, because they just love celebrating a big anniversary redoux of their past mass death blood sacrifices.
Since this is 100+ years on, there’s been tons of research, books etc. on this which clearly shows this was absolutely not in any way any flu virus.
The most damning & glaring evidence is the very chart hiding in plain site–since when does or has ever any “flu” ever rapidly ASCEND through the summer (N. Hemisphere) into a fall peak, as in that second wave?
There were 3 different waves of illness during the pandemic, starting in March 1918 and subsiding by summer of 1919. The pandemic peaked in the U.S. during the second wave, in the fall of 1918. This highly fatal second wave was responsible for most of the U.S. deaths attributed to the pandemic.

Actually, many people, both oppressor and oppressed, have said something very like that. Most successful oppressors, although incapable of such a precise statement, have been well-aware and well-practiced in its application. However, it appears that the oppressed experience great difficulty in perceiving it, let alone responding to it. I wonder how much of that difficulty is inate, and how much well-trained.
Rizo! Rizo, Steve Biko!
I don’t know if a tipping point will be reached on May 17. Whenever someone sets a date, it comes and goes with nothing special happening. Personally, I think it is already too late. There appears to be nothing accidental or just a coincidence with this entire virus appearance and lockdown. How is it that one country after another took the same measures at practically the same time if this was not orchestrated ‘from the top’? There is one woman, a doctor who has just appeared on my radar. But she in fact has been around for many years. She lost her career and was imprisoned without charge and finally had a gag order placed on her, which has now expired, all courtesy of Dr. Anthony Fauci! Dr. Judy Mikovits knows a lot about viruses. The main part of her work was finding immune therapies. I’ve listened to a couple of her interviews. What she reveals is staggering. The Ministry of Truth is very busy pulling her interviews down in an effort to gag her yet again. She says that putting everyone under house arrest is the exact wrong way to deal with this. Doing so will weaken our immune response. So, don’t be surprised if they start to open everything up and people start getting sick. She also said that vaccines are creating disease because they make the lines using animal tissue. Animals carry all manner of viruses which then contaminate the vaccines. Think about that the next time you think a free flu shot is going to protect you. It won’t! https://plandemicmovie.com/
So what do I see? This is part of a bigger agenda. They have now deliberately caused massive harm to the world economy and to millions of lives who may never be able to recover. No fear though. The Federal Reserve, a major arm of the international bankers’ system of control is choosing who the winners shall be. They intend to finalize their system of world control, a world feudal system. We’ve heard about the company store. Some giant outfits say mining sets up operation. They build a town with houses and apartments and whatever the slave workers will need. They even pay the slaves a pittance. But they have to buy whatever they need from the company-owned store which funnels the money back to the mine owners. This often involves debt so the person becomes a debt slave. I see something like this but far worse. Since this is about a world plantation and since some countries will simply not go along with it there will have to be a very big war. Life will become so unbearable that most will do anything to ease the burden. Do you want to give me your vaccine with the tracker chip? Do it! This should not be difficult to believe. Look how we willingly placed ourselves under a state of solitary confinement. They didn’t put a gun to our heads. They are going to have some push back though because a lot of people will not accept the vaccine or the chip. What are they going to do with us? I think millions are going to be eliminated and by that, I mean killed.
This disaster brought upon the human race will be very short-lived. It will be time for another Divine Visitation. Everyone will see that God rules in the kingdoms of mankind.
Let’s see how this all progresses. Certain messages have already been firmly implanted in the hive mind. “We are all in this together”. “How long this lasts is all up to you”. “We can expect a second and even a third wave of the virus”. “We cannot go back to normal until a vaccine is ready”.
NY Post out today story exposing another criminally reckless angle foisted by the politicians on the peeps, showing that Vitamin D greatly lowers risk of death. Fancy that!
I’ve seen zillions of comments of this just over past 4-6 weeks by some pretty po’d people saying “that’s why these dirtbags enacted the lock -down. No outdoors, no parks, no beaches, no sun”.
Just as every other corona family virus, which is colds & flus, it magically near totally disappears in those people who get sun, out of the “flu season” months.
readily available with the internet u can get tables/maps showing with your latitude the expected efficiency relative to summer solstice of your skin in making Vitamin D in your skin, how many minutes/hours, etc.
Near start this vid shows pic taken early 1900’s, well before Vit D & its pathways were even known about, but the sanatoriums set up had as daily regimen for their patients putting them outside in the sun & fresh air a few hours!
Now 100+ years on, they’re quarantining the sheep inside by the hundreds of millions;
Vitamin D & the Upper Respiratory Tract
exact time shows Vit D activation pathway, starting with skin/7-dehydrocholesterol.
https://youtu.be/fmDng_uMCnY?t=175
SURPRISE—at 7:50 mark, shows known that the upper resp. tract mucosa can ALL activate Vitamin D directly.
32 min long only. note put up early 2019, so updated research, but better yet before this my sharona distraction/deception.
Of course, I agree with what you say. I saw another article today, either RT or StalkerZone that getting out in the hot sun makes this go away. Their angle was the heat itself, but it is by sun exposure that we gain vitamin D in the right amounts. It’s not only this. By exposure to others, our immune system naturally strengthens. Take that exposure away and immune response begins to drop. It won’t surprise me when they start to ‘open things up’ and people start getting sick. When has it ever been considered normal to quarantine the healthy rather than the sick? Apparently, as long as you follow those footsteps up and down the isles at the grocery store and stay 6 feet away from the one in front of you it will be safe. Apparently, the virus can’t travel side to side or go backward. But it is not safe to have a Church service. It has seemed clear to me in the early goings that a state of solitary confinement is not healthy for a person in any way. It appears to be obedience training and the entire population has followed along willingly.
It has long been known that sunlight disinfects and bleaches naturally.
Another reason to air-dry clothes.
“Another” = in addition to avoiding the total wastefulness and stupidity of using fuel/current to create a hot wind in a metal barrel when there is often a hot wind blowing outside.
Furthermore, a cold wind will also dry your clothes (as well as your skin).
No wind will also dry your laundry.

BTW, any read of history shows that in every country, every age, every civilization going back millennia, there always 100% of the time is one disease that very characteristically peaks in the heat of summer, and it’s called PLAGUE!
NOT any ‘flu’, ever.
What lock-down?

Dystopian public-service announcements echoed through the airport—“This is a message from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention…” Even the smallest, most routine tasks—such as dealing with the touch-screen ticketing kiosk—felt infused with danger.
