First, the obligatory map of the day:
Now I need to make a note about maps, as some clearly struggle with the concept. Okay, first, a map is NOT a faithful representation of reality. But it is just that, a REPRESENTATION. Which means that depending on the author of the map and the intended public, two different maps representing the same situation on the ground can look very different.
That, my friends, is *normal*.
When preparing a map, the first thing you need to ask yourself is what is your goal. A military map will typically be more accurate, but it will be confusing to most people. Now a “what happened today” like the one above does not have any other purpose than to give you, the non-specialized reader, an idea, a feeling for what is going on.
Check out this map for example:
And, finally, please check this Western map (which I already posted yesterday):
These three maps do not contradict each other, at least not in a significant way or, should I maybe say, not in a significant way for you. The top one is the “general trend”, the middle focuses on Ukie positions while the third one is a projection of kind of territory the Russians are likely to want to control, they are, therefore, Russian forward subunits are quite likely already roaming most of what this maps shows in red.
The top map shows the cauldron in the eastern Ukraine
The second map also shows it, but does not show it at fully locked, instead, it shows the main axis of advance of the Russian/LDNR froces
And the third map has already “buried” the huge Ukie operational forces in the east, because in the mind of its author, that force is done, spent and basically gone.
It just so happens that today I got the confirmation that the last road leading out from the eastern Donbass towards the direction of Dnipropetrovsk (aka “Dniepr”) is now closed by Russian armor. No, NOT by Russian artillery and close air support like for the past week or so, that is what is called “closed by fire”, but close like we imagine it, two armored columns moving towards each other, soldiers coming out, hugging, etc.
So while the reality on the ground is one and the same, the maps show/stress different things.
I also hasten to add that the 2nd map, from this excellent website, has the following pinned message, in bold and red. Here is a machine translation: (emphasis added!)
ATTENTION! Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law criminalizing false information about the Russian Armed Forces (AF). In connection with the foregoing, I bring to your attention that: 1. The purpose of the blog for the duration of the special military operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine is information and moral support for the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as the troops of the People’s Militia of the DPR and LPR. 2. To create the maps published on this blog, information is taken only from open sources, including official communications from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, as well as official bodies of the DPR and LPR. 3. Data on the points of deployment, composition, organizational structure, command, its plans and decisions, the tasks of the troops, the level of their training, routes of movement, the timing of operations and hostilities, losses of personnel and equipment, as well as any other information, having a closed nature, and / or the publication of which may bring any harm to the actions of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and the troops of the DPR and LPR, will be immediately deleted, and the persons who published such information will be banned forever, and the data on them will be submitted to the competent authorities. 4. The blog will also immediately remove knowingly false information about the actions of the troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, NM DPR and LPR. The authors of comments containing such information will also be permanently banned, and the data on them will be submitted to the competent authorities. 5. In addition, the author of the blog reserves the right to delete comments and ban the accounts of any people who simply do not like him
So, I would submit that it is rather self-evident why the maps coming from that blog, while much more detailed than the “red maps” (which come from this website: https://readovka.news/) in what concerns showing Ukrainian forces and rather very vague about actual Russian position. Well duh! Did you really expect a Russian map to actually give out exactly the positions for the Russian forward echelons?!?!
Instead what we get is various pseudo pro-Russian websites dismissing all the “Russian propaganda” maps while promoting other, putatively not pro-Russian propaganda, maps. The truth? These websites are run by civilians with exactly no relevant education or experience and their goals are purely financial (clickbaiting) and ideological (serving the interests of the 5th or 6th, depending on the case, columns).
As for the real owners (and masters) of these websites they are, of course, Western PSYOPs. Until just about now, the Western PSYOPs mission was simple “flood the Internet with info showing the Russians have failed, the Ukies are winning, Putin is sobbing and hugging a pillow under his bed“.
If that means declaring that 3000 Russian aircraft have been shot down – no problem.
So, for the first two weeks, the point of maps from the point of view of western PYSOPs was simple. Now that the “map wars” are coming to an end (at least in the mind of those who can read a map), the main theme will change. It won’t be “the heroic Ukie cyborgs destroyed 3 Airborne Divisions” but it will be “drunken Russians bombing a maternity hospital, murdering all the innocent babies and raping nurses” (the more cliches, the “better”).
And, who knows, I would not be surprised if tomorrow’s CNN’s or BBC’s would be “Russian invaders toss all the babies from the incubators in Volnovakha”!
Wait, what? Did we not see that already?
Oh yes, I guess we did, at least the older ones who remember the Gulf War…
You catch my drift :-)
So, the map wars are coming to an end and welcome to the gore wars!

There is another topic I want to mention tonight.
The West, I am talking about BOTH the political leaders of the Empire of Lies AND many MILLIONS of their followers want to, I kid you not, “cancel Russia“. This desire is so sincere that Instagram and Facebook lifted their ban on “hate speech” if that hate is directed at Russians.
I have lived in Europe for about half my life and about half in the USA. I have never seen so much hate, especially so much SPONTANEOUS hate. And for every ONE Roger Waters out there (see Roger Water’s interview for RT and following by the following (Israeli) headlines:Roger Waters Latest Disgraceful Shilling for Russia, Roger Waters Heaps Love on Russia and Assad In Latest Disgraceful Remarks and Roger Waters’ Hypocrisy on Full Display) there 10 Dave Gilmours out there too (and he dares to call himself “Pink Floyd” to boot!).
All that hate is spewed not so much by politicians, though there is plenty of that too, but by corporations. See for see yourself, this is from today’s CNN:
But there is much more. It’s not just the leaders of the Empire of Lies, or their IT giants, it is also millions of individuals and small businesses. Their “noble support” of the Nazi ranges from cancelling “Russian sauces” (à la French fries becoming “Freedom Fries”), to smashing storefronts, to making millions of AK bullets to send to the Ukraine.
The hatred for everything Russia is very palpable if you are Russian and probably just “normal background noise” if you are not. So here is what happened, is happening and will continue for a long time:
The rulers of the Empire told their serfs “hate and lynch everything Russian” and the serfs enthusiastically obeyed.
So remember that great Ukie slogan “the Ukraine is Europe”.
I agree with this slogan. But only because the entire West became one big Ukronazi Banderastan.
Is that “just” human nature?
I don’t think so.
I think that was we are all witnessing is the climax of a genocidal hatred against Russia which dates from at least the Northern Crusades.
And here is the bad news: thousands, tens of thousands, or even more completely innocent Russians will suffer from these persecutions all over Zone A (including many kids, students, artists or athletes). And there is nothing Russia or anybody else can do about it.
But there is also good news. Russians in Zone B will mostly be safe (though the risk of kidnapping and subsequent torture by CIA/DoD gangs is always a possibility!) and, crucially, there is nothing at all that the “Cancel Russia” culture can do to Russia and Russians in Russia other than make them shed their stupid delusions about the West and make them more mature in their understanding of Western PYSOPs.
It is better for Russia to learn the hard way than never to learn.
The West wants to “Cancel Russia”? Okay.
Let’s make sure that this reality gets to every single Russian out there, and then to every single person living in a sovereign country. To those who live in Zone A but not in Russia I will say this:
The Empire of lies does not want to “just” cancel Russia.
It wants to cancel all of Zone B.
It wants to cancel *YOU*.
Think!
Enough for today and, following two weeks of nonstop work, I am taking tomorrow Sunday off (barring some huge development, of course).
Tomorrow, Sunday, is the Day when we celebrate the Triumph of Orthodoxy.
I extend my joyful congratulations to all my fellow Orthodox Christians, may this day give us all courage and hope in the victory of Love, Life and Truth over Hate, Death and Falsehood everywhere!

It is still relevant today.
Excellent, link thanks. Empire is 10/10.
Dear Andrei.
You wrote: “The rulers of the Empire told their serfs “hate and lynch everything Russian” and the serfs enthusiastically obeyed.”
Don’t believe all that hatred. It is orchestrated to make it look like grass root movement, but it is not.
It is one more WEF lead campaign (just like the COVID Plandemic) executed by their Agents placed in the Western public-private partnership of Fascism. For more than 20 years, their agents have been recruited within Royalty, Financiers, Politics, Media, Entertainment, Corporations, and Universities, all down to Sports organizations. Today, the top of each group in all western nations is infiltrated by WEF agents, and they mobilize their organizations in unison when called upon.
Today humanity is divided, just like Pink Floyd.
The ban of sales of Pink Floyd music in Russia shows the difference in morality of Roger Waters and David Gilmore. Davis Gilmore was not able to ban Pink Floyd albums made before 1987, because the rest of the band including Roger Waters would not allow their work to be banned. So the best of Pink Floyd are still for sale in Russia.
David Gilmore has become Comfortably Numb to the suffering of the Russian population in Ukraine attacked by Neo NAZIs.
Jesus said when he was crucified: Forgive them, as they do not know what they are doing.
It’s been 2000 years since he walked on earth. Some of the 13 tribes of Israel still haven’t wised up.
After the millennium the Devil has been let out of his prison for a little while. Revelation 20:7.
Today more than half of the Global population has united for Justice, Equality and Peace.

Am sorry for being off topic but Iran has just attacked the Erbil US base in Iraq with ballistic missiles. Apparently revenging for it’s two IRGC advisors matyred by Israel airstrikes in Syria
Why not hit an Israeli target? Seems counter productive….
What’s the difference between the two?
They did hit an Israeli target if twitter sources are to be believed.

Nothing about the attack on CNN or other Ziomedia sources – I imagine they’ve got their heads too far up Russia to care about Iran right now.
and it should be mentioned, the much vaunted U.S. “air defense” and Patriot Systems were completely worthless as usual and did not intercept a single rocket. And by the way a GIGANTIC soviet era drone the Tu-141 of Ukraine flew for hours over all NATO territory before crashing in Croatia, leaving their president extremely angry. Not a single NATO member was able to detect the drone or even respond. These people are pathetic liars who claim their equipment and capabilities are so “superior” to that of the Russians.

Hi Nightvision, how are you on this fine evening (with spring peering in, and a big CME inbound as well! ‘suspicious0bservers’ on ciatube)? Do you use any Linux operated mobile phones? Thinking about decoupling from G00G. I welcome God’s wrath.. perhaps in the end, the Russian Federation may help the cause of the ‘freedom fighters’ who rise up in the former USA to work towards liberating and bringing to justice the perps who have been ruling us and terrorizing most the planet the past century or so? Would be fitting, yeah? Muh freedom, dumb-ocracy and all, what a pity..
Can it be said that Russia is what the USA could/should have been (respectfully, I know Russia has earned this!)? We are today the late years of decadence and disintegration that was the last years of the USSR. RF is how USA was in the 1950’s. Detroit today vs Hiroshima, Japan and juxtaposed 77 years ago. My heart can’t take much more.. That human civilization shall succeed someplace on our beloved planet, brings peace to my wretched, fallen soul. May God bless Mother Russia. Thank you for your sacrifices, my deepest sympathies for what we have allowed in the West. Life is hell already, why should we endeavor to make it 100 fold worse for everyone??
It was detected by the Hungarians but they apparently decided that it had to be dealt with in a “well thought out manner”. Not sure what that means – and I wonder if they know themselves. When it entered Croatian air space, they called it a day.
https://hungarytoday.hu/hungary-drone-russia-airspace-air-defence/
The next day, they apparently scrambled two Gripen fighter planes after some suspicious radar contact. Perhaps even in an improved thought out manner..

Was there any Patriot system near the path of that old soviet drone?
As far I am concerned there are only in Poland and Romania, when comes to Eastern Europe.
Not so long ago (end of January), the Croation president said his troops would not join any action. Coincindence?
“The Ukraine-related scandal in Croatian politics continues. First, Croatian President Zoran Milanovic said that if the situation in Ukraine worsens, Croatian soldiers will not take part in it, Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries in the world and it has no place in NATO.
Then the floor was taken by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, who hastened to apologize to the Ukrainians.
Now President Milanovic has taken the floor again: “Let him apologize. He behaves like a Ukrainian agent, and I-like the Croatian president. That’s a huge difference.”
When asked by an RTL journalist if he was exaggerating when he said that Ukraine is one of the most corrupt countries, Milanovich said that in no case, since even in EU documents they write that Ukraine is corrupt.”

Yeah, right! While in the middle of re-negotiating the JCPOA agreement? NO WAY!
Now, THIS is worth tightening one’s belt for freedom!
Sajjid,
…It seems the missile attacks were carried out by Iraqi militants inside Iraq (not Iran) who oppose American occupation of their country. But what’s interesting is that the Americans don’t know what to do after Russia demanded written guarantees regarding JCPOA talks. This simple straight forward and logical demand by Russia (and China) has made the entire Western camp basically bamboozled, because of fear of Russia and China developing close strategic relationship with Iran. They understand when such a thing happen it means the end of the West as a global economic/military and political power for centuries to come. It means the end of Uncle Shmuel who then in order to make a living must change job selling chestnuts in football stadiums. Even for doing that the Uncle Shmuel must first apply for a license, too bad. So as expected life should become very difficult for our dear Uncle through combination of events happening these days, which explains why the West is spreading all out media lies and hatred only this time aimed at Russia but tomorrow at China or any other independent country.
Corrected…the attack on US site in Erbil was carried out by IRGC. It was just announced. Makes no difference.
Great i hope they do it again, and hit those American criminals in Syria.
In other unrelated news, Iran just hit a US base in Iraq with ballistic missiles in response to the Israeli airstrike that killed 2 IRGC officers a few days ago. Videos are all over twitter, news of the attack hasn’t hit the media yet.
Fantastic. To ww3 we go.
update: apparently they hit a Mossad base in Erbil, Iraq that was near or inside a US base. To my understanding they did not target US personnel or material. Well, can’t feel too bad for Mossad…
“update: apparently they hit a Mossad base in Erbil, Iraq that was near or inside a US base.
To my understanding they did not target US personnel or material.”
All US material and personnel are belong to Mossad.
Iranian sources have stated that the news about Israel having killed IRGC officers is fake news.
If this is the case, then the missile strike is another Western/Zionist PSYOP in light of Ukrainian developments.
After all, Israeli officials are desperately trying to salvage their crumbling Ukrainian project.
At this pace we will soon reach 200 dollars for a barrel of oil. Nice :(
Not a bad thing if you trade oil futures…
I don’t, but hey – maybe somebody else will take advantage of this
“Not a bad thing if you trade oil futures…”
If you’re just retail trader scum, then no, this doesn’t do anything for you. The “market makers”, however, will make a mint.
I posted this over at the other thread, but it seems more relevant in this one about maps… With your permission, I cross post it here.
I’ve been looking at the map videos produced by “Defense Politics Asia” on Youtube. He seems to get his info from sources like Rybar on Telegram. He does a detailed analysis of the Russian movements, estimating what their next target would be, like a nuclear plant or a road hub to cut off Ukrainian resupply. He published several videos day.
I don’t know if his sources are good or his military analysis is on point, but the maps are very close up and specific about Russian movements. I just hate that he’s constantly moving the map around and up close, then back, to the point where I get dizzy.
Anyone else using him?
No, but it looks interesting. I’ll give him a shot and check some of the videos, thanks.

I am French living in France, male 59 years, I have always liked Russian culture, even during the Soviet Union days in the 1970’s when I was a teenager (in those times interested by “evil”). I will continue to appreciate Russian culture in the future, no doubt about this.
Hi Arnould, I’m Australian, female age 51, and feel the same about Russian culture! I never hated Russia, even during the Cold War (I am particularly interested in their spaceflight program).
I also am Australian, now living in France (husband French)and retired. I was never anti-Russian and visited the USSR in 1966 by ship from London, stayed in the Hotel Ukraina in Moscow!! I have never understood the entrenched Russophobia by younger people, notably in the UK where it takes over everyone.
I am from the Czech Republic. Moravian, born in Czechoslovakia.
There is no power that could teach me to hate Russia and the Russian people.
And if you want to know my relationship with Russia? There’s only one answer to that. Semper Fidelis
Fu*k you banderovtsi traitors.
I hope no one takes my last sentence seriously. Except for members of my own government, whistleblowers, snitches, NGO workers and other traitors.
There are many of them in my country. They bring only lies, fear, pain and suffering and hatred.
The last sentence is for you free speech junkies. It is for you who betray your own citizens.

A note about the views of people close to me, about Russia and about the war. Even though the Brazilian media is practically reduced to doing CtrvC CtrlV, from Reuters, AFP etc., I realize that some are already changing their opinion (for the better) about the whole situation. I attribute this to some local analysts who still manage to do independent analysis, in alternative communication channels, in social networks, and even surprisingly, in the mainstream media (in this case, on rare and courageous occasions). The air, for me, is a little breathable now.
“The rulers of the Empire told their serfs “hate and lynch everything Russian” and the serfs enthusiastically obeyed.”
I wouldn’t take that as proof of anything personal. These serfs are not rational actors. If the Empire does a complete 180 degree turn tomorrow and tells them to “love Russia”, they will comply.
It is not a joke that many of these people are conditioned just like Pavlov’s dogs by the TV and social media soma.
What has been achieved here is an incredible feat. The whole “Covid” program alone demonstrates it. “Flattening the curve” command has simply changed to “Flatten Russia.” Then someone or something else will be next. You have to keep them moving from one crisis to the next. Ring the bell and they salivate to just follow orders and do as they are told.
“social media soma” Nice phrase!
That is precisely the scenario described by George Orwell in his novel, Nineteen Eighty-four. He calls them “proles” rather than “serfs”, but the situation is identical.
Hi Johnno, I agree with your comments. However, I think what is not being factored in here is that such industrial levels of Propaganda and Censorship as has never been seen before in the World, has a ‘saturation’ level with the public if you will. We’ve just had 2 years of permanent Covid (those bio labs that have been found and the questions China asked at the UN meeting about them) raises a serious question about all of that narrative. So, we’ve had 2 years of this and now more absolutely hysterical reporting and industrial levels of lies and fake news about the Russian action in the Ukraine. I’m only speaking from here where I live but nobody here seems to be at all interested. In my local pub yesterday people were watching the football, talking about their forthcoming holidays etc. Not one conversation about the Ukraine. I think it was Tucker Carlson who said that hysteria is now the conversation of the media and is not conducive to a peaceful and harmonious society. I’m thinking that people have had hysteria overload or are reaching that point. The MSM do not reflect the people’s view it determines to shape it such is the function of propaganda. However, also do not understand the common people either, just because our/their voice is not being heard it doesn’t mean that they are buying into the narrative it’s just that they haven’t got a voice to express it thanks to the probability of losing friends, being scapegoated, being chastised. I found this out during the whole Covid Scam – I always ventured my opinion to people about it being a scam. To my surprise, most people felt the same way but felt unable to go against the narrative publicly. I think it was on here or maybe Offguardian that an Australian posted her faith in humans had been restored because the tv programme Q&A that had ejected a member of the audience who had dared to ask a pro-russian question, following that, the ratings had absolutely plummeted. Take the French, I think it was on the 2nd or 3rd of Russian actions in Ukraine, millions of french people were on the street protesting the Passe Sanitaire; that was their priority. What I currently see, and I appreciate people may well not agree, is that the Western narrative is becoming rapidly and increasingly ‘desperate’ it smacks of desperation. Here in the UK, The Sun ran a Headline “Evil Putin wants to Poison the World). A couple of guys at work had been to the World Cup in Russia and had loved it there and commented that it was bullshit news. From my perspective, the Western narrative is so irrational as are their ill thought out imposition of Sanctions that Putin and Xi Ping seem to be the only two Presidents that are rational, sane and sticking to task and purpose. I have more hope now than I have had over the past 2 years. Truth will prevail and, I think, it’s just starting to make an impact slowly but surely. By the time the Western and USA posturing is still irrational and still being pumped out, Russia will have completed the job in the Ukraine.
Radical wine mom feminist raised offspring, generation after generation of the Rad Fem’s that can do it all. Fifty, Sixty years ago they were actually contributing to community by being present and putting forth effort into the community. They are so “exhausted,” that they cannot even muster the strength of the WW1 White feather movement to go around and hand out feathers to men to shame them into going to war.
After a hard day in the executive HR executive suite, it’s hard enough for them to get rid of the “I’m vaccinated” profile pics and find just the right size Ukrainian flag to replace it with. Their beta men follow suit. Then a bottle of wine to resonate with their estimation of a man-so brave-Anderson Cooper. Then when bombed they resonate with the MSNBC poison Ivy lesbian for their hour of hate before the fall down in bed, maybe with a thought of the anti-white seminar they have to lead the next day.
I wonder what their next impulsive faux-emotional profile pic will change to after a few nukes hit the states. I recommend variations of Medusa.
You GO GRYL
I grew up with real military maps my uncle had from WWII. He landed in North Africa and Italy, amphibious landings, fighting the Nazis. Regular Army. a GI.
Suffered frost bite in Italy, and somehow survived the battle for Monte Casino and San Pietro.
The great film director John Huston did a military documentary of the Battle of San Pietro. I studied the film in my college film production courses. I had some pieces of maps my uncle brought back.
Maps can tell a story or they can confuse. I regard most maps on the Internet as fairly useless.
The brief reports we get tell us more. The videos we get show us some reality.
But altogether we have a 2% view of what is happening at best.
War is compelling drama, but a map has no element of that drama.
Russia is fighting a holy war. The US has posed an existential threat by manipulating Ukraine into hysterical madness. Now, Russia will have to break apart Ukraine into small manageable pieces.
The map that matters will be the map that is drawn with all the new pieces where once Ukraine existed.
Yes and these maps shared in the West – the Wikipedia one is a great example – is deliberately confusing. No Ukrainian positions noted, and Russian positions and influence are wildly understated. All to suit the narrative that the military intervention is failing.
For anyone who is uncertain about the stream of Ukrainian fakes, or wondering if they might in fact be true – they are not. I have first-hand insider experience in the US information war, and will share with you exactly WHY I know these are fakes:
-Photography and video from a combat zone has an inordinately exhaustive clearance process with multiple authorities reviewing and signing off on it. In Iraq as of 2016, it took my photos an average of 2 to 3 weeks to be cleared for release. Even if they were boring and stupid photos you could find on Wikipedia, like soldiers at the USO or a chinook sitting on the airfield. Sensitive footage involving our weapon capabilities and SOPS generally take months to release.
-UAS footage is even more complex to release, and 99.99% of the time can’t be released at all. When you zap an enemy, you OBVIOUSLY don’t want to explain to him how you did it so he can adjust his defenses. The Russians already announced they destroyed these Turkish drones, and was literally the first thing they wanted to destroy. These drones have been slaughtering civilians for months and are deeply hated by the Russian public. If they were wrong and missed a few why would we tell them?
-Information is a warfighting function. Like all of the warfighting functions, they are the responsibility of the commander. He and only he has release authority. Of course a commander usually delegate release authority but if he wants to be a dick and personally review and approve everything, he can. That’s his right because if someone fucks up he’s the one who gets fired. In peacetime back in the states, brigades can clear their own products. In war, not so much. In Kuwait and Iraq, I was having to send my shit to ARCENT, but it’s actually worse than that. If your product involves or even mentions another component or, God help you, another nation, that’s even more people in the chain who need to approve it.
-For anyone who might argue “oh but these videos are good propaganda so they were given expedited approval” – yes they are great propaganda and that’s possible but extremely unlikely. The DOD prioritizes risk management and force protection over media relations, and always has. Most commanders do not give a shit how the unit Facebook page is doing, and to be brutally honest, they’re right. Whatever is gained by quickly releasing a product is NOT worth the risk of accidentally revealing valuable information to the enemy. If you think I’m lying, go look up AR-360-1, and tell me where in that document it says it’s okay for a product to violate OPSEC if you think it’s really cool. High level commands have to review hundreds or even thousands of information products and it is not a fast process.
-For anyone who argues “oh, but it’s the Ukrainian resistance, they’re plucky resistance fighters who are not burdened by the same bureaucracy as the American military. Well They were trained by us. They have the same doctrine and SOPs. They had hundreds of American and British military advisors, and, let’s be honest, at least some of those advisors are still there embedded with and possibly even leading Ukrainian units. I know the Pentagon loudly announced they were withdrawing, but I see no compelling evidence that they actually did.
-It’s not just one or two videos. Only a few “go viral” in the West, but the Ukrainians are vomiting HUNDREDS of these onto the web. How are they doing it so fast, especially when their communication networks must be at least partially disrupted? Remember, you can’t just drop a zipped file into an email, hit “reply all” and ask “Hey guys is it cool if I post this drone video?” Fuck no. I was spending hours wrestling with agonizingly using slow NIPR/SIPR networks, and burning stuff to DVD to deliver by hand, I’m pretty sure it is even more difficult in Ukraine right now.
-The “muh 13 Spartans, the “muh Kiev ghost” and a hundred other examples have been proven to be fake. Why should we believe anything Ukraine is saying right now when they’re quite clearly willing to tell as many lies as necessary to manipulate the American public?
-The Pentagon has people who are exceptionally good at producing fakes. In Afghanistan in the early 2010s, I met an IO shop with guys who could forge extremely convincing photos and hand-written documents meant to cause confusion and distrust in the Taliban. I’m sure they’re even more sophisticated a decade later. And it is common knowledge that we trained a Ukrainian disinformation machine and put it in Crimea. In 2014 they escaped to West Ukraine. They must be using the hell out of it right now, and they’ve had 8 years to produce a mountain of fakes they can drip-feed onto the internet.
I spell it out more in the article below, but that’s the general gist of it.
https://readingjunkie.com/2022/03/11/the-war-in-ukraine-is-a-war-on-our-minds/
thanks, good write up. Most people don’t know the lengths that governments go to in this. Even if they know about the fakes, most people think it’s just random one-offs created by bored users at home and then incidentally go “viral”. No, that’s not how it works. There are entire departments funded to the tune of hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars, staffed with hundreds of people, whose SOLE job is to create fake videos and photos. Here’s one recent example of that, and I think there’s even documentary/movie on this specific one:
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/us-government-pentagon-fake-al-qaeda-propganda-videos-a7348371.html
I think the key battleground is now Mariupol. Andrei Martyanov says it will be liberated in the next few days. I predict that once that happens, Ukraine’s military will deteriorate at an extremely fast pace.
Thank you for this clarification. If Western advisers are still amongst the ranks of Ukie fighters, I hope Russia would be able to capture at least few of them and put them in public display.
Who are you kidding, the ‘western advisors’ are usually the first to scramble and run away. Just read this moron’s story https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/17899587/ukraine-war-russia-british-fighter/

Awsome post ian. Thanks bro. Glad you are not on the Globalist side.
“I think that was we are all witnessing is the climax of a genocidal hatred against Russia which dates from at least the Northern Crusades.”
Haha, nope. There was no Russian hate 3 weeks ago, at least here in Spain. There was of course criticism from right-wing parties against Putin for (allegedly) being communist and praise from left-wing parties to Putin for (allegedly) being communist. But hate to Russian citizens? Not really.
Well it certainly dates back to the Warsaw Pact times, I have no idea what Northern Crusades even are.
Serbia
Vulin: “Whoever does not ask for the condemnation of NATO crimes in Serbia, has no right to judgment for Ukraine”
by Eliseo Bertolasi
Belgrade. Internal Affairs Minister of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, said that those who do not believe that the NATO pact is responsible for war crimes in Serbia do not have the right to try anyone in Ukraine:
“When Wesley Clark, the head of the 1999 killers, and Jamie Shea, the creator of the term ‘collateral damage’, with which he explained the deaths of dozens of our children, they began to explain that killing Serbs in NATO aggression was human as much as necessary, then you know that their every invitation to international law is cynicism and lies ”.
Commenting on the justification of former NATO commander in Europe Wesley Clark in “Voice of America” on NATO’s aggression against Yugoslavia: “there are no parallels between NATO’s intervention in the R.F. of Yugoslavia and the Russian invasion of Ukraine “, Vulin said that” anyone who condemns the fighting in Ukraine must condemn NATO’s aggression against the R.F. of Yugoslavia “.
“Anyone who attempts on the territory of Serbia to create the false state of Kosovo has no right to speak of the territorial integrity of any other state.”
“Whoever leads the anti-Russian hysteria does not have the right towards Serbia to determine what he will do and how he will think,” Vulin stressed.
Vulin further assessed that “any anti-Russian hysteria always contains anti-Serbian hysteria, so it always has.”
Belgrade, 1999, was March 24 when the first air strikes of the Atlantic Alliance against Yugoslavia (Serbia-Montenegro) took place at 20.25. They lasted 78 days, for the first time without UN Security Council approval. In addition to enormous destruction (35,450 cluster bombs dropped, 995 targets hit, 3,650 public structures damaged), the bombings, with the jets departing mainly from aircraft carriers in the Adriatic and NATO bases in Italy, caused in Serbia, according to the sources, between 1,200 and 2,500 dead, plus 12,000 injured.
On the 20th anniversary of these air raids on Belgrade, President Aleksandar Vučić in front of 30 thousand people gathered in Nis, a southern Serbian city, one of the most affected by the bombings of spring 1999, did not hesitate to declare: “The civilian population as the target of the bombs , 2,500 dead, of which 79 children, a devastated country, damages for 100 billion dollars: it will always remain a crime ”.
Even Italy that participated in the bombings, over time began to count its victims due to this war action: it was discussed in Rome on April 4, 2019, at the conference “Uranium: one year from the IV Commission. Present and future “, organized by the Italian Association of Depleted Uranium Victims and by the Military Observatory of the Italian Ministry of Defense.
Speakers at the conference talked about the terrible state of health of Italian soldiers who participated in “peacekeeping” missions in areas previously attacked by NATO with depleted uranium warheads.
Marshal Domenico Leggiero of the Military Observatory reported: “363 people have already died and more than 7,500 have fallen ill. Over 130 sentences of convictions between the TAR, civil courts, the Court of Auditors and now also the Labor Courts and 2 sentences of the Cassation that condemn the administration and hypothesize the crime of manslaughter “.
A dark page in the history of our country with a death toll unfortunately still partial. For over 25 years, on the one hand, former soldiers and family associations have supported the cause and effect link between death and disease and the improper use of uranium; on the other, the Defense which denies the causal link. All within a long judicial affair that saw a series of sentences in favor of the contaminated soldiers and their families.
Belgrade under NATO bombing
Sent from Serbia, Darko Laketić took part in the Rome conference, leading the Serbian Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry set up to investigate the effects of the NATO bombing on the health of Serbian citizens.
Laketić presented information on the bombings and the number of depleted uranium missiles used, in addition to the evidence gathered so far on the harmful effects of radioactive and toxic substances from NATO shells:
“As you know, the bombing of the Republic of Yugoslavia lasted 78 days. In this period, not only military targets were hit but also infrastructures, hospitals, churches .. ”
“31,000 shells were unloaded from NATO aircraft, according to information available to NATO, according to ours even more, containing depleted uranium. These bullets hit 112 sites on the territory of Kosovo i Metohija and 7 sites on the territory of Central Serbia “.
Laketić stressed that the Serbian Commission is collecting documentation on the basis of the methodology used by the Italian Commission report.
It should not be forgotten that the air strikes started, in large part, from the Italian bases, with the ok of the then Alema government, even before discussing it with Parliament. But those were “peace” bombs, no one tore their clothes for this aggression, because if the US and NATO are dropping bombs and launching missiles, for public opinion, the Western media, the so-called right-thinking “civil society”, yes it always deals with “peace bombs”, just as dead civilians simply become “collateral effects” to be sacrificed on the altar of “democracy” and the “human rights” of the “free and civil world”.

RUSSIAN OFFENSIVE CAMPAIGN ASSESSMENT, MARCH 12
Mar 12, 2022 – Press ISW
I wanted to post about something interesting in the technical arena that Saker may himself find interesting. A few days ago I had wondered whether Russia was using any of its MANPAD defense systems on its planes/helicopters. And now we seem to have the first ever confirmation that a Vitebsk / President-S system is in fact being used successfully. Here is a new video that purportedly shows Russian Ka-52 outfitted with the system which has a female automated voice stating the exact vector of Manpad attack, and then nullification of that Manpad via electronic counter measures.
https://twitter.com/vicktop55/status/1502707049288851458
You can clearly hear the notification stating “ATAKA SLEVA” (“Attack from the left”) to notify the crew.
Here is information on the system for anyone interested
https://theaviationist.com/2020/07/08/lets-talk-about-the-vitebsk-l370-the-russian-new-generation-directional-ir-countermeasure-dircm-system/
and even Russian testing footage showing Manpads being negated on a target helicopter via electronic countermeasures (jamming)
https://youtu.be/VfmUmnIsdio
For layman’s terms, how the Vitebsk system functions i:
1. uses laser/radar/infrared scanners to detect the launch of a Manpad via several sensors/camera pods placed on different sides of the aircraft fuselage. These different sensors can detect the various kinds of Manpad, whether the Manpad is using infrared tracking, laser tracking, radar tracking etc.
2. Then depending on the type of Manpad, the system either fires lasers into the Manpad sensors to BLIND and destroy its circuitry and/or automatically fires flares/chaffs if the Manpad is based on IR heat seeking in order to blind its infrared sensors.
And for anyone wondering, if Russia has these systems then why have we seen some aircraft shot down. Here’s my answer:
1. we don’t know which aircraft have them, it won’t be all of them. It seems so far all or most of the Ka-52 attack helicopters have them and that is consistent with what we’ve seen as Ka-52’s have taken very few losses. There were 2 I’ve seen which were in good shape but brought down to the ground damaged. This is not consistent with being hit by a Manpad which would have destroyed them. So in this case, the Ka-52’s were probably hit with some kind of higher caliber gun fire or something else that disabled it.
Apart from the Ka52’s I have no idea what other type of aircraft might be actively sporting the systems in Ukraine.
2. And 2ndly, no system is absolutely perfect. Just like “stealth” is meant to simply have ideal vectors and angles of detection, similarly such systems have higher incidence of success from certain positions and probably lower from other angles/positions. And also, the system like anything in life could likely be susceptible to being overwhelmed if many things are fired at it at once, or if perhaps the surrounding environment is active with so much firepower that the tracker is somehow overloaded from all the targets and their vectors(just brainstorming). So in short, it can function in deal circumstances and perhaps fail at times as with anything. But it provides another layer of protection, just remember nothing whatsoever is completely fool proof and works with 100% accuracy.
Macron dreams of being leader of the anti-Russian coalition
Yesterday during a press briefing the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia had these words.
“We realized that now we are not talking about Ukraine at all, but about aggression against everything Russian: interests, religion, culture, language, security, etc. The frenzied reaction of the West to our actions shows that there really is a battle not for peace, but for death, for Russia’s right to be on the political map of the world with full respect for its legitimate interests. »
That’s basically what I was telling you from the start, Ukraine is just a “pawn” in a declared war on Russia. By who? Some call it “the Deep State”, others “the globalists”. They are simply using Ukraine to accomplish what they have dreamed of since the fall of the Soviet Union: Get their hands on Russia. Of course they will not succeed, Vladimir Putin’s speech on March 4 clearly dotted the “i”.
* Naftali Bennett, Prime Minister of Israel, today advised Zelensky to accept Russian terms and surrender, “so as not to sacrifice his people.” Zelenski’s response “I heard you”, and he cut off the communication.
According to Darrell Issa, representative of California in the US Congress, Zelensky has no chance and in the current situation, the authorities in Kyiv “will quickly crumble”.
“Fortunately, President Zelensky is not present at our secret briefings, where he was repeatedly told he didn’t stand a chance,” Issa said on Fox Business. The congressman also acknowledged that US aid now brings virtually no real benefit to Ukraine. At the same time, he said he considers current US sanctions against Russia “unreasonable”.
* One of the most active pro-Iranian groups in the Iraqi Resistance – ‘Ashab al-Kahf’, known for its attacks on US coalition forces’ supply convoys and the bombardment of US bases in Iraq, published yesterday a statement in which he reports that, according to intelligence from the Iraqi Resistance, the intelligence services of the United States and European NATO countries on the bases of Ein al-Assad and Al-Tanf used by the Americans are recruiting and training mercenaries among Iraqi youth to be sent to Ukraine to act against Russia. Ashab al-Kahf warns that he is monitoring this closely and that if such activities are confirmed they will intervene to put an end to them.
* Today a warning was issued to the Americans and NATO about the weapons they are sending to Ukraine and the General Staff is making arrangements to hit the arms convoys. In Ukraine? Not necessarily. Actions by special forces and sleeper agents may be ordered.
* According to a source at the highest level of the French state, Macron would have in mind to seize all the assets of Russian companies in France. He would also like it in Europe but would face opposition from officials in several European countries. Macron would also plan to ban the purchase of Russian gas and oil in France and Europe. Here, most countries in Europe are not ready to follow it. It is possible that this question will resolve itself since Russia plans to block all exports of raw materials to Europe. How will the citizens who will have to pay 5 euros for a liter of petrol behave then?
Today Macron, in the middle of the election campaign, once again phoned Vladimir Putin. According to a source at the Elysée, he then told his advisers with a wry look “Putin has expressed his determination to continue the operation”. Does he really believe he has any influence on Vladimir Putin, given the stakes of civilization at stake?
* Megafone and Rostelecom, two major telephony and internet companies in Russia, have been disconnected from the LINX internet node in England. The British behind this manipulation hoped that internet traffic in Russia would be greatly slowed down, it is not so, the traffic was simply rerouted through Asia. On the other hand, Russia could retaliate by cutting the submarine internet cables between Europe and the United States. These cables pass off Scotland, and our submarines are perfectly capable of doing this operation. At 6000 meters depth, recovery will be a serious problem, and the consequences for Europe and the United States would be enormous.
* The Russian response to the “sanctions” should be formalized in the coming hours and will therefore be the subject of a future article.
Macron’s choice of wife speaks volumes about his character. I’ll just leave it at that.
LOL. No kidding.
If a tranny granny can be correctly named a “wife’.
I am really liking all of your incitefull ideas when it comes to Russia’s threats and some good ideas on targets. Why not take out the key weapon of the Empire of Lies? Take out the leadership of the MSM empires?
It’s a wonder how Russian leaders keep giving Macron the time of day given Macron has publicly stated that he will punish Russia…
What is the point of maintaining diplomatic relations with these deceitful people?
Macron is playing both sides in the hope that, as will probably be the case, Russia win this and there is a radical shift against the EU and the USA and the UK, he will be able to remain ‘friends’ with Russia and China. It’s a ridiculous stance to take but I think he is WEF through and through to the extent that he is, via covid, materially attacking the French way of life and society and the values of Liberte, Fratnerite and veridad. I’m thinking he’s going to struggle in these elections.
The working classes of imperial/colonial powers have always been pretty detestable.
RT here in the E.O.L.U.S.A (ah yes the good eOl’USA) was blocked today from YouTube and (most?) browsers used by normies, effectively closing off any chance to hear an opposing dialogue, history, and pertinent info coming from that source – a source that was for many was their first and only source of Russian news and viewpoints. Of course some know about vpns, but MPAI or too lazy/distracted. This is a desperate and reprehensible act. It begs the questions: What is the real intended effect to the populace? What sort of coverups and false flags in the works that possibly could lead to a shooting war are they intending? What are they knowingly hardening us against? Why is there a concerted effort to cancel and dehumanize an entire culture?
*E.O.L= Empire of Lies
*MPAI= Most People Are Idiots
try this. RT has migrated mostly here it seems https://odysee.com/@RT:fd if this link doesn’t work just go to odysee.com and search for “RT”.
Also they have a presence on Rumble https://rumble.com/c/RTNews
These seem to be decent enough alternatives to Goolag’s Ciatube for the time being.
@ Nightvision,
Do you have alternatives link/s for Sputnik? I live in the north of London, and can’t open Sputnik news site since the 11th of March… Now, even their Telegram channel is blocked. Thanks.
@Zil
I live in the SW of UK and have no problems connecting to RT or Sputnik (currently!). The ISP I use (Andrews and Arnold) has no truck with the UK ‘great firewall’ which may be your problem – especially if your ISP is BT or TalkTalk or one of the cheaper ‘normal’ providers. A&A are not cheap but are IMO very good. You get what you pay for and remember anything free is worth what you paid for it (eg Goolag mail and Hotmail).
Or of course a VPN! I use NordVPN sometimes to view ‘blocked in your country’ media and get on well with it…
Thanks to Saker and Andrei Martyanov and New Kremlin Stooge and Strategic Culture Foundation and Indian Punchline (and others!) for keeping us Russophile Westerners informed.
I visited the USSR in 1977 and the USA in 1982 and I know where my heart lies – with Mother Russia!

There is a solution to the blocked Telegram channels issue. If you have an Android phone, just go to the official Telegram site and download their app (apk file) through the direct link (NOT through the Google Play or other app market – they have to filter channels according to the country policy). The .apk file can be safely installed, it will normally update etc. You will be able to read blocked channels, the only inconvenience is that you must have this channel in your channel list or a direct link to the channel (can be found through Google or other search engine of your choice) because blocked channels are not shown in the regular in-app search.
If you have an iPhone, then you can try using the desktop app for your PC/Mac (again: download it through the direct link on the official website, no third-party websites or stores) or the web version of Telegram. Go to the privacy and security section of settings and find a switch to show all information (not sure what this option is called in other languages). Your profile and settings will automatically update in all devices that have an active Telegram app. You will be able to see blocked information in your iPhone app. Note that this method is not guaranteed to show all blocked channels.
Today it’s Russian hate. Last month it was hating on the unvaccinated, even families were torn apart and many advocated forced vaccination or worse. Think back to 911 and the hate Arabs and Muslims endured. Before that Vietnamese Japanese etc etc.
Look up Professor Desmet who talked about mass formation of the mobs during Covid. He rightly pointed out that even if they wake up to the falsities of Covid they will just switch to another object to project their fear, anger and hopelessness onto because the problem is a spiritual one.
But we must not give up. Speak out as much as possible because words diminish the hypnosis. Those that have insight have a responsibility to speak to as many people as they can. It took two years for them to realize about Covid. I pray they will realize this is a PSYOP much quicker this time.
Are you saying the Ukraine action is a psyop?
If so, I am with you.
From a western point of view they’ve got the price of oil up to augment the fake inflation they have created.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this were the main objective of the war.
We all know of Russian military superiority so so must the western leadership.
They forced Russia to take this action having no intention of intervening.
They are sacrificing Ukraine while shrinking the supply of oil, gas, wheat and other commodities. This is the name of the game…..inflation!……. and the theft of markets.
“all wars are bankers wars” and this one is likely no different.
Inflation (price gouging) is profitable to a point, but a country like Germany cannot maintain its economy with high inflation, so it will demand for higher interest rates. Not every EU member state can stomach high rates. That creates fractures among states. So actually inflation is the killer of globalist plans.
I actually think the propaganda aint working all that great, at least where I live. I regularly take walks in DC, it’s my only physical activity. For more than a week now, I’ve been looking for one sign: ukie flags. In all my walks I’ve only seen a single lonely one (Cleveland Av). I’ve spotted more gay flags, left-over Xmas decoration or BLM stuff. Considering the massive propaganda, I would say the return on investment is rather paltry. It might be different in Europe, but here it seems that people just cant work themselves up. It’s just too far.
Some time ago, when Saker reported about Russia House being vandalized, I walked to Dupont Circle where Russia House is located. Ironically there’s a statue of Taras Shevchenko, “Bard of Ukraine”, not very far, west of Dupont. There were a few bunches of flowers (maybe 5 or 6), and a “I stand with Ukraine” poster. Nothing spectacular. I haven’t been back there since.
I think a lot of the support is fake and ‘performative’ by way of peer pressure. But in reality when push comes to shove 90% of Americans couldn’t care less and couldn’t find Ukraine on a map. As such you’ll only see real vehement ‘support’ in places characterized by extreme echo chambers or where social pressures are at the highest like work places, twitter/social media, etc. But in normal daily live, when no one else is watching, the vast majority couldn’t care less and are more worried about their rising gas prices and inflation.
I got happened to watch sky news, they have some so called air marshal, giving catalogue of lies on how the special operation is going. As I was about to switch him off, because I kept wondering where he had got the Russian plans and RF fatalities, I decided to look at the comments. To my surprise most of the comments backed him, but then one person asked a question and it went like this “If the Ukraineans are winning and have devasted Russian forces, how come you are saying that they are now a few miles for the capital and how are they able to surround all the major cities?”. The it was like waking up a slumbering nation, all the other comments started disagreeing with the so called air marshal. Many of them pointed out that the media is lying and one should pick the opposite of what they are saying. Then I noticed that most of the news anchors no longer have the confident aggressive postures they had at the start of the operation, they look like they have lost their mothers in law. One never knows how to behave at a funeral. I can tell you that at least in East and Central Africa, most people are glued to the radio following Russian progress. Believe me when I tell you that most African militaries despite the fact that AFRICOM has spent billions turning them into American stooges, are cheering Russia. Please note that English is my seventh language.
…. but then one person asked a question and it went like this “If the Ukraineans are winning and have devasted Russian forces, how come you are saying that they are now a few miles for the capital and how are they able to surround all the major cities?”. The it was like waking up a slumbering nation, all the other comments started disagreeing with the so called air marshal…..
LOL another good comment to red pill is “winning armies don’t blow bridges like the Ukie’s are doing. The Ukie’s are blowing bridges left and right”
You articulate very well and just like the other highly intelligent African comment previously. Please spread the word to all Africa that it is a fight between good and evil. Africans celebrated when Zionist France was kicked out, but all of Africa will celebrate when all Zionist controlled West will stop exploiting Africa.
Russia is not alone in this struggle, it is all of us that are not followers of the so-called “international community”. They are : Israel,. USA, Western Europe, Britain, Canada, Australia, S-Korea, Japan and a few other puppets spread around the world. Of course many of these puppets will jump off this evil empire.
But one thing is clear; One day the rest of the world will finally be free.!
I agree that there is no freedom of speech in the UK — I live in the north of London, and I can’t connect Sputnik news since 11th March. This is censorship.
All of those sanctions imposed on Russia with the accompaning propaganda is deliberate and planned out well in advance by the US/UK. The idea is to create major disturbances for the West so that its’ citizens will be starting to revolt not against their own governments but against Russia who gets the blame. The citizens are then ripe for the plucking and will unhesintantly pick up arms to confront Russia on their NATO and governments behalf.
Hi John Mason, interesting post. I am not so sure that I agree with you on this. I fully understand the logic but, history shows that people revolt against their Governments (Russia/France the Nazi’s in Germany following the collapse of Weimar) when the mass of the common population are hungary, very poor, completely subjugated to the idle rich in the first and then other secondary factors. The French are very close to starting such revolution in their country. Although Hitler rose to the ascendancy in Germany Russia and France had ‘people’s Governments’ so to speak (until Stalin completely changed what communism was it was certainly not what Vladimir Illychovic Lenin had in mind). We might be voiceless and down and out so to speak, but there’s no such thing as poverty, unemployment, hunger and the deprivation of what the West has come to expect such as your own homes, cars, luxury goods etc. I think that will spark a Revolution but it will not be in favour of the WEF ideals. One of the things I currently think is that, this over the top, blindly hysterical action against Russia founded on pure malicious evil hatred, bloodlust and vengeance, is not so much in response to the Russian action in the Ukraine (after all the UK and USA aren’t exactly distinguished in not invading countries) but rather, it has thrown into complete turmoil the One World Global Power goal of the WEF to which, as Covid has shown us, the Leaders of the EU and the West have slavishly adhered to setting the scene to progress it by the use of extreme measure taken under the guise of Covid. Treaudolf in Canada is not winning there though. The calm, peaceful Canadians are fighting back. I think it was Lynn Truss who stated that current events have caused a seismic shift in the world order or something like that and it had to be dealt with. People won’t take up arms against Russia they will take up arms against their own Governments when they cannot afford petrol, food, heat etc. History has shown us that
Be careful Andrei. Use a fake name. In WW1 the hate of all things German was stocked by the establishment. In WW2 the hate was so intense the Japanese-Americans were herded into Concentration camps. In 1950 McCarhy ran anuok, 2001 Muller, corrupt FBI spy head hat arrested thousands of innocent Muslims to give authority to his team. So keep a low profile. the establishment will try to demonize Russians, that is their playbook.

What are Zones A and B?
+Percy
Terms Saker coined to explain psycology and media and its geopolitical influence in the world. Zone A is the West (USA, 5 Eye Nations, NATO nations, Asian satrapies) and there is Zone B the Periphery, everything outside the West. Includes Russia nd China. You can read it here. Enjoy.
/zone-b-exists-thus-there-is-hope-i-promise-you/
Otherwise known as “The World” and “Not the World”. The latter has about 7 times as many people as the former, but they are much less important.
Lol here in the Netherlands everything is partitioned as thus:
Zone A(msterdam)
– The Canal Belt (Grachtengoldel of Amsterdam)
– The rest of Amsterdam
Zone B
– The Province (Province, evrything in the country outside of Amsterdam)
– The World (everything ouside of the Netherlands)
On Dutch TV you always see the same tired old faces from Zone A, preferably from the Canal Belt and preferably having been on TV for 30 years.
Regarding foreign policy they always regurgitate what the White House/Pentagon(less so under Trump, who they hated)/NATO/EU, etc. Say
Regarding economics, always emulate Germany
So far the mediacracy of my tiny boring country, which is too full of itself even though it doesn’t matter on a global scale.
I think they’re an attempted replacement for First World and Third World, respectively.
Zone A – Single polar hegemony and all that belongs with the hegemon
Zone B – Multipolaristas and all that are moving toward a multipolar existence
I’ve been thinking over this. It seems like you, Andrei are in absolute shock with the western hysteria over Russia. And you might be a good proxy for Russians everywhere. But I wonder – do you guys know of “woke”?
Did the entire woke movement pass you by? The last ten years of SJW escalating beyond sustainability? The CHAZ? Complete meltdown of the Western cultural product over the last five years? Transsexuality? Black Lives Matter? Tearing down of statues all over USA? The breakdown of business culture in Silicon Valley due to “inclusivity”? “White privilege”? “Systemic racism”? (I’m not referring here to the actual racial divide but it bastardization.) The collapse of standards due to mass hysteria over labels? And, I never thought I would say this but, did you hear of “gamergate”? At the time it seemed like a forgettable episode (on the level of lulzsec), but the woke seem to consider it their founding event or some such.
I mean, canceling is a signature woke move. Woke are the only ones that cancel, everybody else has some other move. And the woke took over the West.
I propose it’s the woke that are generating and driving this Russophobia, everybody else is following the momentum they set.
And just so we’re clear: the woke themselves are almost certanly not natural, but are a product of social network companies that create dopamine addictions in their users by giving them regular fixes of outrage while isolating them from everything else. Since people don’t talk anymore but instead look at their phones and get fixes, they get completely distorted.
This is a good video on the “social justice” movement:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J10_2natxys
The only place I disagree with him is on environmentalism which he did get suckered into, but it’s pretty solid otherwise.
It also might be a good video for Lone Wolf to watch.
I think Andrei is intelligent enough to get all that. I’m sure he’s aware that it is the Usual Suspects who are the authors of this drive to see European Man genetically and culturally exterminated. What he’s really doing is carrying on a bit of a shadow dialogue with Germanic/Nordic people both in Europe and North America in anticipation of us one day regaining our manhood and throwing off the chains the Usual Suspects have placed on us. What happens then, more Northern Crusades? Will we go back to being Nazis? He realizes we are fully capable of being the biggest, baddest dudes on the planet if we so choose. He’s asking us to have a heart and not be a bunch of insufferable pricks.
@ rert
“Since people don’t talk anymore but instead look at their phones and get fixes, they get completely distorted.”
Good remark about the mental sterilization going on by the pervasive social networking to digitize man and convert him into an algorithm. Why would the CIA invest in its development if not for its usefulness to manipulate the proles and deplorables and everybody else in between?
Wanted to write another small update on the economic front:
Firstly, the Ruble continues to climb at times, to the surprise (and great dismay) of the West. Even MSM sources are forced to report on it: https://www.yahoo.com/now/russian-ruble-climbs-amid-currency-173055318.html
Remember they promised that their devastating sanctions would see the Ruble easily surpass 200+ to the dollar. Yet it’s rebounded down to 120-130’s level and has stabilized there.
Secondly, they’re forced to begrudgingly report that companies continue to buy Russian oil, no problem: https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/biggest-commodity-trading-houses-west-continue-buy-russian-oil-and-gas
Meanwhile India is getting ready to introduce Rupee/Ruble trading systems to further destroy the Dollar https://twitter.com/zerohedge/status/1502804194549538822
And remember India is the 3rd largest economy in the world by GDP PPP after China and U.S.
And remember, Ruble to Dollar conversion only matters if you’re buying goods from the West and having to convert the exchange. But since the West has decided to effectively break off all trade, then Ruble’s depreciation against the dollar is not SUPER relevant to the average consumer. Sure for financial markets and such it still plays a bit of a role, but the effects would only trickle down and not have a major impact on the life of the average citizen who does not price anything in USD and does not need to do the conversion but rather purchases everything in Ruble. And by the way, gas prices in Russia currently are even lower than they were before the Military Operation, whereas they are double or triple in every western country.
Seems so far, the world-ending sanctions have not done much at all to Russia. Of course effects could be felt later on, but Russian economic experts continue to believe the situation is under control and will once again ultimately benefit Russia. You can see this latest interview with the preeminent Sergei Glazyev where he speaks on this https://youtu.be/dvzdhesSyUU

It appears the jews have deposited one too dollars in Russian central bank controls and in theory, this could balance the dollar to rube ratio.
Nightvision, Thanks for this information. Interestingly enough, about 1hr ago I had a notification from Sputnik (but for the past few days I cannot get the Website and Blog) that the West was putting pressure on China to limit the amount of Yuan Russia gets. This is interesting because on RT today in the business section I read that Russia was offering 8% interest on the Yuan (or something like that). I hope China refuses. I think they will. It seems to me the West are now really worried and getting more so which matches the ramping up of the fake news, levels of hysteria and quite frankly, desperation. Desperation is the rationalists dream (Putin and Xi Ping) because it leads to behaviour that is not thought out, led by a ‘tantrum’ mentality and generally, fails spectacularly. Putin and Xi Ping must be having quite a laugh about the ineptitude and stupidity of the Leaders of the West, USA, UK and Canada. They are 100 miles ahead of them. Intelligence, rationality and strategic thinking will always triumph over desperation, hatred, vengeance and stupidity.

I see signs of changes all the time. People are not buying the BS as readily as you might think. Just let gravity do its´ work and in short order, you could be seeing a noticable change in the attitudes of people in the US. The narrative is slipping.
The world would be a better place without war, without the brutal multipolar tribalism.
The Anglosphere has been hegemonic for over 200 years. It’s hard not to see the US/UK as having metastasized. This is an existential danger to all.
Can countries like Russia, China, India, Brazil create enough space to prosper, despite the money, media and mendacious machinations of the “West”?
Reckon the likes of Russia and China need to get better at the business of business, to be more than economic technological innovation pale fire.
Amusing. It’s the other way around: The West needs to learn economy 101 again. Half of of the so called “value” that makes their economies look big is nothing but hot air – bubbles. And the majority of the rest is all service, not goods.
Why does that matter? Because in an all-out economic war, air is worth nothing and foreign services are the fastest and easiest sector to replace. You can’t just make domestic goods appear overnight. Services on the other hand are 75% comfort and luxury (not existencial), and much faster to create.
I don’t understand this hatred directed towards Russians. Whether you agree with the Russian government’s actions or not (I do) the average Russian was not involved in the decision making.
Growing up in the US south I and everyone else that I knew lived in fear of the USSR government. But even then the fear and hatred was directed towards the USSR government not the people. Unfortunately, I don’t personally know any folks of Russian decent but if I did then I would treat them with the respect that every person deserves.
I hoped, naively, that after the end of the cold war that everybody would get along and enjoy a ‘peace benefit’. I did not know at the time how Russia was being looted by financial criminals. While I initially supported the US actions after 9-11 I was completely against the Iraqi invasion. Since then it has become obvious to any objective person that it is the US that is the major threat to the world not Russia.
I don’t understand hatred, directed against anyone.
Hate is an express-ticket to hell.
cancelling a matsuev concert, burning tolstoy, there really is no forgiving such disgraceful behaviour. yet i have to believe there may come a day when we can return to truth & beauty. today to be russian, you are blessed & proud & clean, whilst i, a canadian, live utterly shamed & thoroughly humiliated. chrystia for fuck sake is our deputy pm & deserves to be on trial. i have all my life loved russia & from the age of ten believed russia would indeed rescue the world from the dark side. it was understood this unfolding would be horrendous & most would follow without question the antichrist, that those few who believed in the battle against evil would face unspeakable onslaughts & their lives would be @ risk bt it was imperative to hold tight the faith that good would triumph. russians are fortunate indeed to have a nation & leaders that know what’s @ stake & are willing to serve this unavoidable & ultimate cause. i am sorry, saker, for your suffering & wish i could eradicate some it, bt please trust there is a great undercurrent of faithful on your side, fighting the fight & sickened by the evil of their government, elites, & sadly shocked by the mob rule mentality of their dumbed down, blind friends & family.
I still love Canada and never forget my time there, or my semi-deluded but kind-hearted relatives there, but yes you have an Awful government!
Excellent point on Canada. There is no hope for the west until those with the gift of faith, in whatever nominal religion, reaffirm their subjection to the most high.
Those without faith should attempt to philosophize along the lines of Socrates as opposed to Plato .

What is Zone A?
What is Zone B?
Please define these terms. I am a new reader.
Read this:
/zone-b-exists-thus-there-is-hope-i-promise-you/
First World and Third World respectively, basically.
I repeat
Zone A – Single polar hegemony and all that belongs with the hegemon
Zone B – Multipolaristas and all that are moving toward a multipolar existence
1. “Dave Gilmours out there too (and he dares to call himself “Pink Floyd” to boot!).”
I was buying their records in 1971 and note:
“Pink Floyd were founded in 1964 by Syd Barrett (guitar, lead vocals), Nick Mason (drums), Roger Waters (bass guitar, vocals), Richard Wright (keyboards, vocals) and Bob Klose (guitars); Klose quit in 1965. Under Barrett’s leadership, they released two charting singles and the successful debut album The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (1967).” (Wikipedia)
I remember Syd Barrett going off the rails etc. And, indeed, Dave Gilmour added artistic and commercial value, imo. However, in an interview with Dave Gilmour he once mentioned an early guitar session with Syd Barrett where he just could not ‘grok’ what Barrett was playing/exploring. It had some innovative chord progression sequence going. From memory Gilmour may have eventually “got it” but then rejected it — and, it seems, the personhood of Syd Barrett along with it. Whether that contributed to the Barrett’s alienation and illness, who knows? Can’t have helped to have such discordent vibrations in the “Heart of the Sun”. The rest is history and great music. But the seeds of the Gilmour-Waters divide are in that early Gilmour-Barrett dynamic in my view. A clash of worldviews and deep values (including respect) etc. Now it’s all just “Obscured by Clouds” (pun intended). Gilmour was just a great guitarist etc. Barrett was that and much more until the collapse.
2. “I think that was we are all witnessing is the climax of a genocidal hatred against Russia which dates from at least the Northern Crusades.”
Perhaps see similar views on “Biden White House sanctions America to punish Putin [Part 2]” from around 22:24 to the end. My perosnal interest is in the Indian & African upsurge in outrage mentioned.
https://youtu.be/lPqVcm6TfoI
Ulimately this is not about Russians (or Indians or Africans etc), but rather about the toxic hate layers deep within the European/Anglo colonizing mind. (I won’t use soul, because I consider that is what shrivels under this toxic sludge.).
Gilmour is mainly responsible for the late, fake Pink Floyd after Waters left – RW called it a “clever forgery”.
Hey Andrei! Try to ignore the anti-Russia psy-op PR media bombardment from “the West”. Why? Because Russia and China are detaching from the ‘rules-based’ world economy. This is a cause for celebration in the “East”. They will be then free from economic punishment meted out by the USA. They could give a shit about the information war, because they know that the “West” is now doomed to a failed and broken totalitarian state. Instead of stressing out, dream of the coming new world. Hopefully the new economic system of the East will include gold-backed currency – which will crash the dollar-based system forever. As far as, as you say “the entire West became one big Ukronazi Banderastan” – you are lucky because, being Russian, you will be able to return to that new world (“the East”), if you would so choose. We are all suffering in “the West”, and our sufferings will only increase, as the western system crashes and burns. Perhaps it is time to leave the US before they start putting “red stars” on ethnic Russians (like the yellow stars used on the jews by Hitlerian Germany in the 30’s and 40’s). The panic and mania of the “west” are a sure sign that they know that, unless they completely subjugate the entire world, that they are as doomed as doomed can be. Since Russia can no longer turn back unless being willing to become a de facto US colony ala Yeltsins 1990’s Russia, that the US is toast. Russia was actually fortunate to see what western capitalism was all about – this strengthens the Russian people who have successfully weathered assaults in all of their previous history, as well. Don’t worry – all this will be righted once the Ukronazi’s are defeated, and that is coming soon.
There is NO truth in the western Mockingbird media. THEY are a disgrace to humanity. The people of the west are so dumbed down at this point. God is on Russia’s side, SATAN rules the west. God Bless Russia. YOU are on the right side of history and humanity in your quest for justice. Our programming is complete and our fate is sealed. DO NOT back down to these entities we call leaders. They sold their souls long ago. Godspeed, Russia.
Somebody tried to put up some expensive-looking Ukraine posters in our neighborhood. They lasted about two days before they were vandalized and graffitied over. That’s the only thing I’ve seen outside about it nothing in stores or fast food places, no billboards nothing like that not even any extra American flags I’m in cal bay area there was one demonstration a week ago somewhere around here that drew a couple hundred people but I haven’t heard any anything else
Just read a YouTube comment which said that ‘all Russians are guilty by association with Russia’. This came from an ordinary Westerner.
So according to these dipshits, Russians should revoke their culture, hate their country, and be some kind of zombies just like the entire western populace has become
IIRC, back during the Cheney/Bush/Democrat invasion of Iraq, there were Russian websites spraying out disinformation about how the Americans were really taking huge casualties. To me, that’s a part of modern war, and I say it only to set up the following …..
It made me stop and think that any military has to account for its casualties, sooner or later. These are all real people, members of society. They talk, get in contact, with friends, family etc. They can’t just drop off the face of the earth. Sooner or later, the military has to account for them if they’ve become a casualty. The military may not tell the truth about how or even where they died, but sooner or later they do have to tell the world that they are now deceased.
Thus, yes, take any claims of huge but hidden casualties with a big healthy dose of disbelief. Since its the military that has to write the letters home telling loved ones that someone won’t be coming home, they are very aware that they can not hide this fact.
I trust Russia’s casualty figures because I’m an expert on military matters and have been following and analyzing military events for many years. So I have a good sense for how many casualties are occurring based on all the data I’m receiving from every source (i.e. both sides of the divide). As such, I believe Russian casualties are accurate. In fact I think they are INACCURATE as pertains the Ukrainian losses. A week ago or so, Russia claimed that 498 Russian troops were KIA and by now they are claiming over 13,000 Ukrainian troops are KIA. I think the 498 Russian troops is accurate but the 13,000+ Ukies is probably excessive. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ukie losses are only in the 2000-3000 mark but they COULD be as high as 10,000+, it’s just less probable to me. Today Zelensky for the first time released the alleged numbers for Ukrop losses and they claim something like 1,300 KIA. I think that’s undercounting it by quite a bit but is maybe closer to the mark than Russia’s figures of 13,000+.
Another reason to trust Russia’s reports and figures: Russia is the only one being transparent so far in this conflict, the Ukrainian side has done nothing but lie. For instance, when the Conscript issue recently came up, did Russia try to lie and cover it up? No, Putin released an official statement saying that the incident will be investigated. It was an embarrassing and grave issue and yet Russia still maintained transparency and admitted the error. Thus they have no reason to lie about their losses.
The second thing you must remember though, is that most countries are capable of sustaining way more losses than you think. And I don’t mean just in terms of manpower, I mean politically and societally. You said that countries have to ‘account for casualties sooner or later’ yet in reality, any conflict you examine that had high casualties on any one side, it never stopped the government/military from continuing the conflict to its end. For instance, in the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980’s, both sides clashed with similar sized forces to what Russia/Ukraine currently use against each other (about 150-200k troops on each side). Yet according to wikipedia the losses for each side were around 200,000 dead (massive amounts of KIA). And yet that didn’t bother either side enough to cease the conflict for many years. U.S. had 60,000-70,000 dead in Vietnam, Russia something like 15,000++ in Chechnya or more. I don’t think we’re even scratching the surface yet of how many dead either country (Russia or Ukraine) could stomach on a societal basis. And as for Russia, the KIA have slowed down greatly. Only in the opening of the operation when they were operating much more impetuously was there a lot of KIA, now it’s very little comparatively speaking, which is why you don’t see tons of videos of dead Russian soldiers anymore as you did in the opening few days. Russia has shifted some tactics, tightened its defenses and secured its rear columns much better and now their losses are greatly minimized. Ukrainians on the other hand went the opposite way–in the opening suffering very few losses because Russia refused to do “total war” on them, not even targeting barracks/troop groupings for fear of mass casualties. But now Russia routinely hits troop groupings, barracks, buildings where a lot of troops take cover, etc, thus skyrocketing their KIA.
Walking around in California cities and wading through handicapped homeless vets certainly supports the notion of huge casualties.
If you want to roll in the floor laughing for days here is your link. This guy is hilarious.
https://www.americanpurpose.com/articles/preparing-for-defeat/
The guy is Francis Fukuyama, known for his proclamation of “The End of History”.
Yes I’ve read this earlier. Hopefully he really means it when he says he’s staking his entire reputation on the line for this gambit, because his reputation will be effectively dead really soon. Every single point of his utterly cartoonish screed was so comically wrong that it’s hard to believe it wasn’t written as satire (maybe he will retroactively use satire as his defense later on??)
But see the chief problem I see is this: these western people develop a sort of psychosis from the ‘echo chambers’ they inflict upon themselves. These psychoses can be linked to things like cognitive dissonance and normalcy bias, as well as many other types of cognitive biases and logical fallacies(selection bias, etc, etc).
The problem I’ve learned is that, their psychosis is formed when the echo chambers they are a part of end up having a sort of cumulatively multiplicative effect on their pathological inability to see truth and accuracy. There is a sort of snowball effect that happens when the echochamber of pro-Ukie “OSINT” accounts continually outdo each other with more and more outrageous claims, which they then have to “double down” on. And this creates an environment where observers like the above ‘author’ are reading material that is so beyond the pale of reality, and are seeing completely fabricated reports day in and day out, which they end up using as a basis for their entire premise of operational thought, and this leads to these wild exaggerations and bizarre neuralgic psychoses as we’re witnessing with this article in question. Only a person who is imbibing a daily barrage of completely fake propaganda can possibly come to the types of supremely outlandish conclusions as the guy above.
I really am curious to see what manner of cognitive dissonances will occur in the barely functioning paralytic brain of a completely discredited moron like this when the truth begins sinking in eventually, or when the final Ukrainian collapse occurs and Russia has captured Kiev. I really worry someone like that may even decide to off himself due to the wild disparity of reality and inability to reconcile the fantastical mythos he’d built up in his brain about the war.
I see Michael McFaul praises the report!!! Obama chose the very worst “ambassador to Russia” out of a very large number of Russophobes eager to ensure no truth emerges.
The bigger view:
https://www.eutimes.net/2022/03/global-famine-to-plague-earth-from-2022-2024-it-is-set-in-motion-and-cannot-be-stopped/
1) Putin massively under supplied the war effort, even days ago he SCOFFED at the idea of calling up reserves! He needs to call up 2 MILLION men now. 1 million to hold CONQUERED Ukrainian territory and 1 million as a home guard against revolt.
2. There is no such thing as a beautiful gentleman’s war. War is evil hell, Don’t launch one unless you are willing to unleash hell. The Ukrainians to include the regular people of Ukraine, had 8 years and 2 weeks to strike an honorable deal, now it must be surrender or die.
3. If Russia-friendly people in Ukraine think that at a moment’s notice you will sign a cease fire for silly and abstract “neutrality” and “denazification” they will not want to turn on the Ukrainian puppet regime only to be at their mercy the moment you leave! It MUST be a war of PERMANENT geographic conquest!
Can anyone get into the thick skulls of Putin and the high command?
This is no longer about Donbass – Ukraine – or even Russia, it is about whether the nihilistic technocracy will get global domination!
Take it easy, relax. Things are going perfectly as planned. Russia doesn’t need 1 million troops. The option for mobilization is always there in the back pocket if it comes up. No one is going to be guarding against revolt. First of all you forget the DNR/LNR will continue having large armies as buffer zones, and who knows what else in the landscape of post-war Ukraine will exist. Now there’s talk that Kherson area may also have a ‘referendum’ (though for now this seems like propaganda from Ukie side). Russia will simply appoint pro-Russian leaders, purge the military of all anti-Russian nazi’s and the situation will be FAR more under control than you imagine. If you think I’m exaggerating just look at Chechnya and Georgia. Quite pacified isn’t it? Compared to what it used to be?
Russia is a master of this. You will see a pro Russian leader and military commanders controlling the armed forces of Ukraine, they will hammer everyone in line and the country will not require any massive occupation like you’re describing. Most Ukrainians either don’t care one way or another or will lean towards the Russian side and will be fine with the new outcome and circumstances/format.
And don’t worry about any ceasefires. All that ‘ceasefire’ talk is just for show, to ostensibly appear diplomatic on the world stage. In reality Russia has committed quite firmly towards denazifying Ukraine and they will now not stop without a full surrender of Ukrainian armed forces which would allow a complete purging (deNazification).
But in general, you really need to ween yourself off of western propaganda and pro Ukie “OSINT” accounts who drum daily about how valiantly Ukraine is winning the war. Ukraine is losing BADLY. Russia is winning this quite easily and is steadily advancing each day, and in fact soon you will see a snowball/domino effect because as each huge tranche of troops is freed up, it will add onto other fronts. For instance Mariupol, which will be fully cleansed over the next week or less, will free up thousands to head to Donbas to complete that cauldron, etc., which will push the force disparity there over the limit, leading to complete collapse of Ukie forces.
If I were Ukraine, I think I would rather be a part of Russia’s future than the Wests, and particuliary the US’s. We are toast, the culture is dogshit, the politicians have created a more and more diverse society and promotes the factions to hate one another. We make nothing, buy it all from China or other more industrious nations.
Yeah, rather be in the tailwinds of Russia’s future than the smoking ash of our ours. At one time…at one time, now long forgotten or never aware of.
Well, we do make weapons of war, and lots of ’em. Of course, you are right, we make nothing else. We are also
fairly adept at exporting misery and death to those we don’t like, such as Venezuela, Cuba, etc.
If I understand correctly Russia has an active military of about 1 million men with 2 million reserves. There is no need to throw everything, including the kitchen sink, into the fray at this time. Putin has the full support of the Russian people and the “war” part of all this will be over in Ukraine by April. After that comes the most important part, basically reeducating the Ukrainian people to look eastward and not westward. That is Putin’s most important job: to snatch Ukraine from the clutches of the Usual Suspects and restore it to proper European Christendom. Indeed I think that is Putin’s plan, he is just too shrewd to come out and openly admit it.
Putin never wanted this war or separation from the West, it took him 8 years to fully get it, and as you say, his war has been an attempt at a gentleman’s war, perhaps in an attempt at eventually winning the West over.
No, the Rubicon has been crossed, the toothpaste is out of the tube. The West isn’t coming back in friendship.
I guess Russia has to bring the big cannons anyway
Russia can not loose this war as it’s about the existence of Russia
I agree with you that Putin tried a soft war approach that failed
Now they start slowly to bring more heavy arms and a more aggressive approach
The last 7 years the Ukrainians where brainwashed with help from the west even more than before and Putin underestimatet that.
But Putin is not stupid and now we will see the next days another face of this war.
Russia now has nothing to loose Nothing at all…
The west has lost Russia for decades or more
USA wanted exactly that and they got it
But their win is short sighted and it will end in the catastrophic end of the empire of lies
“All that hate is spewed not so much by politicians, though there is plenty of that too, but by corporations.”
I would look at the board membership of all those corporations. They are under the spell of a hidden hand. If Putin only could make that hidden hand come in bright daylight for all to see and then cut the head of that beast. Unfortunately that would be too simple.
The West has become a house of lies and confusion. That is a matter of degree of course, but just looking at the staff of the White House under Biden and Trump, one can see a lot of hatred, duplicity and dishonesty at he highest levels of the US administration by people who have all the appearance of fanatic idealists. The staff, the MSM and the elected ones all play the same tune as if directed by that hidden hand.
The hate you see is the result of the war drums Washington has been beating for decades. The rhythm has accelerated during the last weeks.
Either the US really wants to go to war with Russia or this is the last roar of the beast before it retreats. If the beast is weakened then the hidden hand might look for a new more energetic host to populate.
The only host left exploiting, if you take the West and Russia out of the equation, is China. The Chinese know full-well that the Talmudic-Kosher Mafia controls America. They would never be so stupid as to let that band of international parasites take over. If the Usual Suspects lose control of America they’ve got no place left to run. This is their last stand.
Hey all. Late to the party. Can someone define zone A and zone B for me. Thank you
Zone A = Civilised, beautiful, liberal, peaceful, morally and intellectually superior. Exceptional.
Zone B = Uncivilised, ugly, stone-age thinking, brutal, morally and intellectually repugnant. Animals.
From the perspective of those who run Zone A.
@Prince Andrew
By that definition, all the U.S. states that voted for Trump twice are in Zone B and are under occupation by Zone A.
The majority of the ordinary population in Zone A don’t seem to realise that their ruling, political & media class view them with almost as much contempt as the inhabitants of Zone B. Almost…..after all they do need them to put x’s on pieces of paper once every 4/5 years to keep their dog & pony show running.
Heard Alex Jones say this week about McDonald’s (and possibly also Coca Cola) closing down their operations in Russia: “That’s a good thing. That’s like getting a tick off your ass.”
The level of propaganda leaves one speechless. Family members and friends have commented to me about how evil Putin is and how they are bombing maternity wards. I get a rush of high blood pressure and answer back that there is two sides to the story. I tell them about the ward being taken by the Azov and taking everyone out of there and setting up a post. Second I ask them if they ever heard of the Azov battalion and how they are fill with NAZIs. I add that they are not Neo-NAZIs, like the idiot ones here in the states. I tell them that these guys are the real deal, true descendants of those who fought with the NAZIs against the Soviet Union. Swastikas on their flags and parades and marches, the whole thing. I show them photos and articles and not one more word comes out of them. It leaves me more frustrated than anything else.

There seem to be also fighting in the centre of Mariupol. PL News Today talks of a man who was rescued inside the city by Russian recon units and brought behind enemy lines.

Well, for what it’s worth, I’m in the West, I don’t hate Russia or Russians and never did. I respect the history of Russia, including that of the USSR, which created modern Russia. But then, I’m old enough to not live for Twitter and Facebook and not invested enough in the system to believe the BS.
The psychological influence that the security services, government- corporate -cultural industry and media here have is extraordinary.
In the past two years of the pandemic, I’ve been taken aback by how easily people here are frightened and coerced to think and behave a certain way… or else and also how much people’s emotions are manipulated. It’s extraordinary … people tweeting that if someone doesn’t wear a mask they are potentially killing some poor immuno- compromised person somewhere…(!) Like if I don’t wear a mask, I’m killing someone but if my government sends Nazi snipers to Ukraine… well that’s just fine (the righteous thing to do).
Hate, guilt, fear are manufactured from the top down and infiltrate every aspect of life.
There are people around who are trying to counteract the lies and misinformation but they don’t have the resources or reach of the corporate-government power structures.
What can I say? We live in the realm of a declining empire. The values we were taught as children, we later learned were mere Shibboleths. What I see now is what might have been a great civilization, as a thing rotten to the core.
One of the analyses you’ve presented here is that the West has won the psyops war. Well, that might be true but we can all shudder at the consequences of it, and be utterly powerless to stop it.
I’m not looking forward to the future, to be honest, because it’s looking bleak but I do hope that maybe, at the end of this, there is hope for a more honest and just world. …
But then, perhaps I’ve just been sucked in by Russian propaganda!
I’m from California. I went to a couple of years of elementary school there and in our textbooks we learned about the rich Russian history in our state. I live a couple of hours of the town of Sebastopol. There is a Russian orthodox church made of logs in Vallejo. I believe there’s one in Sebastopol too. I’ve always had an affinity and felt kinship with the people as they owned a huge chunk of Cali until they sold it for pennies on the acre.
I have thought when Blinken said they were never serious about their commitments Lavrov should have said they weren’t serious about the sale of Cali and Alaska.
Sorry to say it, but all of this IS precisely human nature. What else could it really be? Humans, like other social animals that form separate groups (e.g. chimps, baboons, wolves, lions) naturally form us-vs-them relations, and these relations ultimately tend toward a dehumanization of those not part of our “us” group. This is our genetic programming at work. Now, the “us” group that lives under the banner of “freedom and democracy (F&D)” and “free global markets”, has been unable to assimilate the Russian group and sees it as a “them”, and Yes, so it has been for centuries. Looking at the big picture from above, the F&D group (aka, GloboCap, western Anglo-Zionist Empire, etc.) wants to get hold of, at least to control them via its financial mechanisms, those still untapped-relatively abundant resources that lie in Russian territory and has been scheming-slowly creeping toward that goal, using whatever means it can, by hook or by crook, and especially by setting-up mutual dependencies in which it seeks to gain an upper controlling hand, a hand always ready to pick up a club if needed, but that prefers to work more subtly to cloak its amoral motives. Putin’s Russia has finally said “Stop!, We Russians would like to remain fully sovereign…keep control of our resources for ourselves.” All this is human, all too human, and, by the way, all of this is what other lifeforms also do.
We may dream along with John Lennon, and his dream is a sweet one, but one must wonder if such a dream were fulfilled would all then be utopian, with peace, social harmony, and prosperity for all. Do we think that human nature would magically change to make this dream possible?? If we had this world living as one, there would be an elite group running the whole show, and their corruption would no know bounds. Sadly, this dream could actually become a dystopic nightmare. The best we can hope is to have a world in which separate groups live together as distinct sovereign entities but with respect for each other and acceptance of each others’ otherness, and I believe this is Putin’s vision, and yet, even that may be a dream too far beyond human nature.
I wonder now though if there is already enough momentum from the cultural invasion of the West, and its businesses, within Russia to long sustain a Putin-like resistance. This current situation may very well blow over in just a year or two as both sides come to grips with their already strong inter-dependencies. Putin and his current oligarchical elite support base will fade away too, though that may take more than a few years. What’s the longer term?
There likely will not be another Putin to stave-off the growth of the Western mega-amoeba, but maybe too the empire of F&D will disintegrate as it faces tougher times due to tightening-up of earth resource supplies and sluggishness in transitioning to a renewable economy, and as it keeps expending resources on trying to be the hegemon. Meanwhile too, if the economy can keep running at the level needed to support further tech “progress”, that “progress” itself will effectively fuse the world into one ultimately corrupt and self-destructive/human borgifying megaplex…the seeds for this are already sprouting…AI, robotics, genetic engineering, nanotech, etc, and only a very small and weak minority is going to be Luddite and say “Stop!” to any of this stuff. This too is human nature.
Andrei,
I am an American and I love you.
I am an MD and I completely disagree with you about Covid. And I love you.
I appreciate your knowledge, your military acumen, your striving for accuracy, your humor, your humanity, and your understanding of the Russian people.
Because of you, mainly, I would say, I have come to love the Russian people over the years that I have been following your writing.
Thank you so much.

I love Truth or Consequences, NM. I’ve passed through probably 100 times~
Truth or Consequences, NM ?
Next time you are in Hatch pick up 10 pounds of those chiles for me.
If you really are an MD please write your opinion on Covid for us, pro or con, send it to amarynth and ask her to post it in the Community section…..if you have valid MD info maybe a piece the Saker might post it on the main blog …..we are all so far past “bad virus, shots good” a different view from within the field can’t hurt.
Cheers M
Greeting to Haruhuani Spruce!
There used to be a very long dirt road from Truth or Consequences that led out to the edge of Trinity Site (fenced off) and thence to the Bar at Little old alien Inn…
Tom Lehrer https://youtu.be/yrbv40ENU_o WW3 song…
Trinity site is a very quiet place. Met there a contract geologist (who was burning one) – he said that the bomb tests had created numerous hot spots (like the shot pattern from a 12 bore does) – these are mostly unmarked, unfenced, and secret…public places or on private lands … he kept track of the migration of hot particles by weathering… We drank some beer on the tailgate. 30 years ago…
The hate towards Russia is based on their plan for undermining and destroying Russia for over 100 years. They have been gradually creeping up and surrounding Russia. They feigned “friendship” and cooperation only to trick Russia into things which would help them (U.S./west) for their ultimate goal.
Only when Russia was allowing itself to be corrupted and undermined did they keep the hate at low-ebb. But now when Russia pushes back strongly they are showing their true faces.
They used the attack and demonization on Serbia and Serbs as a practice and warm-up and Russia should have been far, far more cautious of dealings with the U.S. after that, but it wasn’t.
Thank you! It’s nice to read truth for a change.
I am wondering how this is different from 1941 when the whole fo European war efforts were organised against Russia and the Soviet Union? Then still Russia was also sending raw materials to the empire and Stalin had a non agression pact with Germany, like today’s UNSC (United Nations Security Council). The propaganda of NAZI success in the East was the same as that of Ukie success in this operation. The attrocities of NAZI Germany was attributed to the Red Army and any captured Red Army soldiers were quickly excecuted. It took NAZI attrocities in the Soviet Union to awaken the Soviet people of the life and death threat posed by the war on the Soviet Union. Is this not a question of where have we seen this before?
And Napoleon before WWII.
Hate has won.
I feel sad.
People I love hate Russia for its existence.
People I love love Nazis.
Hate and love have been built on lies.
The two minutes of hate have been installed.
George was an absolute genius.
I feel sad.
That war has been lost on the front and won on the minds.
The wall between the West and the East has been built.
It goes through our hearts and minds.
Soldiers are now on the screens.
They demonstrated that lies are stronger than truths.
They demonstrated that they control the narrative.
Morally, we are zombies.
Driven by lies and deceptions.
Fearing them and living by them.
Lost in a desert that we call reality.
Our brains and hearts eaten by them.
Rotting corpses walking in other’s lives.
I cry my loved ones.
I despair from our loss.
We won by lies.
We lost our souls.
I do not even know if God should have mercy for us.
We lost the right to ask for it.
How can I carry on ?
You have captured the whole reason for my depressed state of mind over the past three weeks. It was so much better when they were calling me a murderer for refusing an experimental medication. I look at what you have written and realize why. I have always known from Milgram’s experiments that people would forget their kindness and obey authorities’ murderous instructions, but they were suffering as they did so. But this is different. Has anybody seen anything like it? I suppose Hitler’s Germany or Pol Pot’s killing fields. In the latter, I know from the late Andrei Vltchek that the people involved had suffered so tremendously at the hands of their country’s elite (which most historians explaining what happened never mention), and Germany’s people had suffered considerably in the time leading up to their outburst.
I don’t think this is what is happening this time. The people I see expressing hatred toward Russians are the same ones who spent the past two years giving everyone their opinions of COVID over social media. I think the social media are the key factor here, which is new. I’m hearing this is what is going on in Japan too. (Outside of engaging in comments here and John Michael Greer’s blog occasionally, I just don’t do social media and I don’t have a smartphone.) My student with a smartphone who does engage in social media tells me it is mostly people in Tokyo who are bullying anyone they think is Russian (including Ukrainians, he says), but in rural Japan, which is mostly older and not engaging in social media, people feel either friendly or neutral toward foreigners, including Slavic peoples, realizing that in a few weeks the news cycle will move on to something else with shock value to keep up the ratings.
Given that the fiends shouting for punishment of the unvaxxed all turned on a dime when the global would-be-masters said to, they’ll turn again when hatred toward Russia is not sufficient for whatever the latter have in mind, and then I dread what might be next, because the rage just seems to be getting more and more passionate each time.
In the mean time, to anyone of Slavic descent here in Japan, come on out to the hinterlands where people have the time to think, and at least a few of us care.
Westerners need a good dose of real life. Famine, war, dead relatives, horrible scenes of destruction. They have grown too egotistic and narcissistic. Their repressed hate explodes when the regime gives the green light. This is why we are seeing explosions of violence in the west against russians. Let’s hope that empty stomachs will direct those explosions to the goons in power.
Nailed it. We are soft, narcissistic, selfish, ignorant, and spoilt.
Westerners do not have the intestinal fortitude to endure the coming hardships.
“Famine, war, dead relatives, horrible scenes of destruction. They have grown too egotistic and narcissistic.”
No need for that. If the internet or television signal went down in England for just 12 hours millions would lose their tiny little minds and be gnawing their stubby little fingers to the bone, drenched in sweat, shaking uncontrollably, lying in the foetal position, murmuring to themselves ‘my twitter, my twitter, where art thou gone, why have you forsaken me…*sob*….*sniff*..
Thank you!
If you think this is bad, imagine being in central-eastern Europe in 1943. The situation must have seemed worse than hopeless – for many it way, for many, it was apocalyptic. Look at Syria today, look at the landscape of levelled cities like Homs & Hama, or ar-Raqqa, or Mosul in Iraq. That is apocalyptic – & yet, there are many people in those places who live to fight another day. I, personally, am optimistic about the future, because I believe a better world will come out of all this. The current pain had to happen, there had to be a confrontation between the Atlantic imperium & Russia + China, it was going to happen sooner or later. But if Russia wins, & Russia WILL win, a better world will emerge. Just wait & see.
What’s that old saying about how birds of a feather flock together?
That saying especially applies to the Anglo Americans, Europeons, and the courageous pro-democracy Fascists, neo-Nazis, and mercenaries whom they have sent flocking to Ukraine.
They are all birds of a common (fascist) feather.
Ukraine becomes an international rallying point for neo-Nazis and mercenaries

“ATTENTION! Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law criminalizing false information about the Russian Armed Forces (AF). In connection with the foregoing, I bring to your attention that: 1. The purpose of the blog for the duration of the special military operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine”
The term “special military operation” becomes a detrimental description if it is interpreted as “doublespeak.” In the near future, this term will invite judgment, one way or the other, if the “special military operation” continues growing. To facilitate the acceptance of this term, the word “invasion” was banned. Moscow Times: “Russia’s communications regulator on Saturday ordered media to remove reports describing Moscow’s attack on Ukraine as an ‘assault, invasion, or declaration of war’ or face being blocked and fined.”
This special term affected today the meaning of other words clearly. The Kremlin said that pres. Putin condemned “numerous examples of the flagrant violation of the norms of international humanitarian law by Ukrainian security forces…'” (https://www.presstv.ir/Detail/2022/03/12/678440/Russia-Ukraine-Putin-international-humanitarian-law-violation-Ukrainian-forces-Olaf-Scholz-Macron). If there is no “war,” you can understandably condemn the violation of such norms. On the other hand, if there is “war,” then the laws being violated are the laws on how war is conducted, and by speaking of “international humanitarian laws” instead, you bring to mind the use of the term “special military operation” and of its accuracy and adequacy. Then the “invasion” term can come to mind. At that point, you may lose the PR war for real.
My Cleaning lady and her familiy (Orthodox volksdeutsch from Kazakstan) have gone completely underground. Hubby and Mom barely any German speak Russian exclusively. Their 3 daughters (8, 12, 19) are born in Germany but look very foreign.
Cleaning lady called da‘ wife and told her ‚we all have corona and will be at home for next 14 days‘ she took the kids out of school.
The level of barbarism is shocking. Unbelievable
The moronic West is laughable at this point. In the late 1940s, it was spewing the same venom against the USSR which had lost almost 30 million people, adding nuclear blackmail to make sure the Russians got the message (which they did, but not in the way intended). Russia had been badly ravaged by Europe’s Nazis and had to build the country up again single-handedly while the US had its massive industry intact and could spend its still unshaken reserves of enormous imperialist loot from all over the world on the reconstruction of Western Europe.
In the 1990s, their hatred of Russia was taken away from their media, replacing it with anti-Muslim/anti-Arab slanders and propaganda. Indeed, Russia was suffering immensely, but the vile colonial puppets in charge were obeying their foreign ’advisors’. Hence, for Western PR purposes the hatred was replaced by sheer contempt and triumphalisn (End of History).
Now the hatred from the onset of the Cold War 70+ years ago is back again, but this time around Russia hasn’t been debilitated by any physical destruction while her adversaries have deindustrialized and are led by people who are not just criminals but plain imbeciles too. Today’s Russia is backed up by the world’s industrial powerhouse. I fail completely to see what sort of impact psychotic Western media consumers could have except adding some ugly noises around the neighbourhood.
Instagramm and Facebook pulling out of Russia will be a good thing ultimately. They are a measure of Western soft power, a brain parasite which is used to poison Russian minds with toxic psyops. Them banning/cancelling Russia by themselves means less political capital and goodwill the Russian government has to spend to excise that mind cancer from its people.
Just like the economic sanctions, this will end up further diminishing the West’s worldwide influence. Another shot in the knee.
What do you mean you have not seen such hatred in the past? The ongoing war against Serbia and everything done and still being done to Serbia and Serbs (Djokovic Australian open, Kosovo, etc.). I recall back in the days of aggression of NATO and the sanctions, Serbs were saying, the ultimate target is Russia for Serbs are seen as little Russians or cousins. So, you have seen it in the past and you knew it was coming, or you should have known. The same hatred and propaganda was implemented. The difference is Serbia is not Russia and a vast country with one of the worlds most powerful militaries, also, Russia had a chance to see and prepare from for this day, for the Russian leadership saw the writing on the wall back then.
Media at from Sputnik on Telegram is getting replaced with this message: “This channel can’t be displayed because it violated local laws”. Local in this case being maryland, usa. The Russian MOD channel still works, so it is media the israeloamerican garbage is preventing people from. So much for freedom of the press in the zionist-nazi american colony. What a dung heap the usa has devolved into.
I grew up in the West but studied for a year in the early eighties in the Soviet Union (with around 30 other Western students). We’ve kept in loose touch all these years. Just a few people have maintained contact with people in Russia, Ukraine etc, many have not. But we all have the ability to keep up with events more closely by reading/listening to Russian sources. When this conflagration started one of our group started an email conversation going. Firstly he expressed his horror at what was happening and kept us updated on how a mutual Ukrainian friend was doing. Several people chimed in about how awful the situation was, which of course it was, so no problem. But then one guy wrote more specifically decrying Putin and the crazy and ridiculous claims of genocide and fascism. So I responded calmly with lots of examples to illustrate both. People were polite for the most part- “how interesting ” but it was basically water off a duck’s back. Then others started replying with basically all the negative things ever wriiten about Putin as gospel truth and the rest replying with agreement. They refused to look at any evidence I gave in counter. Further they got upset because nothing is worse than what Russia is doing and now isnt the time to consider other stuff. They have decided that I am lost to reason and a bit of an embarrassment- completely taken in as I am by Russian propaganda. I am still on the email list (I think) and I tell you that there isnt a fake they don’t believe, a sanction that is brutal enough, a description that is vile enough to describe VVP, etc. And these are people who spent time in Russia, who know Russians and speak Russian. Theoretically they are all intelligent folks – we all attended university after all. I feel devastated. And alone. This is making me ill.
Elian, I was undergoing the same feelings a while ago. I live in Bulgaria now, but my mother and siblings live in the US. They consider me a crackpot under the influence of Russian propaganda. Even asking pointed questions to make them think does no good. They are my family, and I’m not going to let the powers that be divide us, so I do my best to keep things neutral. For myself I realized that we who have the ability to have discernment are very privileged And I now feel sorry for them. They have even lost their sense of humor. The things that help me are finding and looking for truth, coming to this site and others, reflecting on the information, and speaking with those who also have discernment and critical thinking. Being able to have a laugh is VERY relieving, trust me. releases endorphins and whatnot. Here is a little spoof that might help? https://www.bitchute.com/video/KL5PjtuptslW/

I, too, studied and lived in Russia – in the early 1990s, though. I am very depressed and frightened for my Russian friends both in the US and in other Western countries because this is all getting very ugly. I dipped into Twitter today, which I heartily regret. Today’s neocon/neolib talking point is that Russia is overrun with Nazis – projection, of course. Twitter is often a vile place, but this particular talking point is especially egregious considering how many citizens of the former USSR were killed at the hands of the German government in WWII. I don’t know how this will end.
Russia’s reluctance to occupy “Ukraine” only applies to the current Ukrainian state (1991–present), which in turn is the successor to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (1917–1990), whose existence Putin decries.
Russia’s long-term aim is to destroy and/or absorb the Ukrainian armed forces, including paramilitary, and then “peacefully” incorporate Ukraine into Russia via citizens’ referenda, à la Crimea and Donbas’.
Afterward Russia may or may not station troops indefinitely on the soil of the new, post-“Ukrainian” entities, pursuant to the requests of the local people and their respective governments.
The arrangement in Transnistria, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia is instructive, as well as that of the DPR/LPR.
Whatever entity, or plurality of entities, succeeds “Ukraine” may well “peacefully” request or decline Russia’s stationing troops on its soil. At this point the dissolution of “Ukrainian” statehood is nearly certain.
As Putin has intimated, the dissolution and/or partition of the “Ukrainian” entity is the only way to end the legacy of communism and Zionism. “Ukraine” will dissolve into its historical Russian and Habsburg components.
Putin’s syntactical construction betrays extreme intelligence. Russia will be able to conquer and absorb “Ukraine” with the consent of ordinary people, expelling Western/Zionist proxies and connecting Russia with Transnistria.
In the western Ukraine there is already agitation among Catholic Hungarians for the arrival of Hungarian forces to safeguard their interests vs. the Zionist, fascist forces in Kiev. Also, the Carpathian Rus’ are still pro-Russia.
At the end of the day most ordinary citizens of Ukraine, aside from the Zionist fascists, will accede to joining Russia. A smaller portion, that of the western Ukraine, will likely attempt to join Hungary and maybe Poland.
At the conclusion of this war a small pocket around Lviv may be the only part of Ukraine that does not eventually join Russian territory.
The littoral and riparian zone will likely join Russia. This region forms an arc from Donbas’ to Kiev and thence to Crimea and Transnistria.
The seizure/liberation of Odessa will likely come last, but the configuration of forces implies its inevitability.
The hate against Russians has nothing to do with northern crusades or anything like that. The West has been under the neoliberal-neoconnery imperial regime for decades. Like in every other successful empire – and this will happen to Russia as well if it becomes imperial once more – the morally blind part of the population, which outsources all moral decisions to the group (i.e. de facto to the elites of the group), strives and multiplies. This part of the population hates and loves whomever the elite tells them to love or hate. They genuinely feel what they are told to feel. And the elites use this fact. These people exist everywhere. But at the moment we have a particularly large share of them in our midst because we have had 80 years (3-4 generations) of extreme selection towards these people. Being a morally blind automaton was not harmful but was advantageous in the properous West at least since WWII (maybe even longer). These people were promoted into all the important state controlled positions (plus those controlled by large corporations). They control the media, they run the academic world, they dominate the judiciary system and they sit in our parliaments. Having a certain amount of these people is useful for a country since they make running the country easier. Having to many of them is seriosuly dangerous. And the West has far to many of these morally disabled NPCs. To summarize: Yes there is lots of hate against Russia. But it has nothing to do with Russia per se. If the elites told everyone to hate their garden fences, then those fences would all be gone tomorrow. Everyone who has lived through the corona hoax crisis has all the evidence he needs in order to know that that is true. Just as in the case of Covid19, in this war people support the side which wants them more harm than the other. Just consider Germany. Their support of the imperial actions against Russia has led them into killing the industrial basis upon which their wellbeing is based. They have literally committed collective economic suicide. This you only do if you are unable to make any judgements on your own, i.e. if you are completely morally blind. And be sure of one thing: schools in Europe have been far to lousy for at least 50 years for anyone under 60 even to ever have heard of the northern crusades. Most people only know the Hollywood version of the history of the 20th century and absolutely nothing about the preceding history of Europe except for a few flashy names like Charlemagne and Louis XIV.
Sunday morning Peacekeeping mission briefing had this gem;
…. In addition, the department reported that the militants of the national battalion “Aydar” (banned on the territory of the Russian Federation), equipped firing positions directly on the territory of the Orthodox Holy Dormition Nikolo-Vasilyevsky monastery in Nikolsky, held about 300 civilians and monks hostage …..

Those who gave studied history should know that almost all western military experts during first 6 months of Operation Barbarossa were sure that Soviet Union will collapse. So it was not just Hitler’s fantasy.
I completely agree with you comments about ‘cancelling Russia & Russians’, I find it abhorrent and very very depressing, please know that there are still some in Zone A who don’t feel this way.
Not that it will make any difference and we will be targeted in the same way at some point in the future.

So many falsehoods punted by the country that has invaded 84 countries…yes, eighty four countries since WW2.
May truth keep us together – I am losing ‘friends’ at a rapid rate – good.
War is terrible but it is needed to bring about huge changes.
Let this be it…may the leadership of countries opposing truth perish. Enough is enough.
@Nic
Excellent verdict on your part: “I am losing ‘friends’ at a rapid rate – good.”
My attitude is very similar. I find it immensely pleasurable telling fools in Germany “Putin-Versteher sagen Sie? Das bin ich auch. Darf ich das nicht?”. As quite a few people around here are well aware, you can’t change the mindset of die-hard Ziomedia addicts. Having some fun at the slobs’ expense is all it takes to save you from despair and anguish. Refined amusement and Schadenfreude are way better moods, believe me.
As Google blocks a documentary about Ukraine by the award-winning Oliver Stone from Youtube, Ukraine on fire. It is worth remembering that Director of Trust & Safety at Google, Ben Renda, was employed by NATO as a Strategic Planner & Information Manager.
The White House is briefing TikTok users about Ukraine. The Top 30 influencers are being told what to say about Ukraine. It is also alarming that the current Livestream Policy Manager for Europe, Middle East & Africa at TikTok, Greg Anderson, worked in psychological operations for NATO.
A free society is not shaped like this.
We have a one-party parliament, a one-party media. Contrary voices are being systematically eliminated, one by one, by a one-party big-tech army of auxiliaries.
This is the liberal democracy they want to export around the world. Russia today, anyone they feel like doing it to tomorrow.
Ramin Mazaheri tried to be explain it ….
” For many years Europeans have said the European Union was the only way to have peace on the continent. I always had a tough time seeing the direct correlation.
I often wondered if the thinking was: Europeans are so bloodthirsty and savage that they have to join themselves together just to keep from killing each other. It reminded me of English critic A.A. Gill’s explanation of why the English line up in a queue so well – because, “if they didn’t, they’d kill each other.”
The claim that the EU is a force for peace only works if one looks at it this way: There has not been a war between the current members of the EU since 1945, therefore, all one needs to do in order to enjoy peace is to join the EU – those who won’t join will either get invaded, destabilised or forced to join. Basically, join the “universal value” of the EU or face a “humanitarian intervention” of some sort – people behave as if these ideas are passé just because the politicians who originally uttered them have aged out of office, but they are truly part and parcel of EU ideology.
The claim that the EU is somehow pacifist and benevolent was always nonsense but it was an idea pushed endlessly by the UK’s Remainers and Europhiles. They will have much more difficulty now. Even if a definite European army isn’t going to come out of the current two-day meeting at Versailles of EU leaders, there’s going to be a giant step towards that.
The average European knows – via the Age of Austerity – that the EU is not at all benevolent, and many of them want out. A February poll conducted by France’s top polling agency found that a whopping 63% of France are favourable to a referendum on Frexit.
What’s interesting is that only 11% of respondents were totally opposed to a referendum – it’s truly just a small minority which is strongly attached to the EU. That minority is the hardcore half of the “Bourgeois Bloc” in France, which is led by Emmanuel Macron. ”
Why Brexit was an IQ test.
Neoliberalism, Globalism and NATO are all linked. What I have been trying to explain in detail on Billy Blog over the last 6 months. The war in Ukraine exposed it for all to see. If you know what you are looking for. How the current economic paradigm is the heart and soul of NATO expansion. Is geopolitical foreign policy.
So this question now remains – Have the US and NATO overplayed their hand and have they gone too far?
As people marched in Italy over the weekend to leave NATO. Will other countries follow and simply realise without Russia or China They could very easily be next ?
Anti Russia Russians who spent years hating Russia and assiduously helping the Western agenda against Russia are suddenly flummoxed at why the west hates them too now.
Indeed. To be flummoxed is a bad thing.
Ahh blessem, my heart bleeds…
Bonne journée, Andrei !
Please can some other source confirm this claim (from News Front, 13 March 2022) :
“Seven servicemen of the 36th AFU Marine Brigade defected to the side of the Donetsk People’s Republic. In addition, according to information received from Ukrainian servicemen who had voluntarily laid down their weapons, Right Sector militants were the first to leave Mariupol. A group of up to 50 nationalists managed to leave Mariupol before it was completely blockaded and headed for the village of Novovolynivka, Zaporizhia Region, where Ukrainian militants took civilians hostage and confiscated their mobile phones. This information is also confirmed by relatives of the villagers. At present, the militants have already looted all the grocery shops in the settlement.”
Dear Andreï,
I know that it’s difficult to be Russian in zone A, and it’s true that there’s a lot of western serves morons wich worship hating Russians and Russia.
However.
However I feel a big and even huge silent resistance to that miserable and shamefully mood.
In USA, heart of reactor, listen to the right, Tucker Carlson and his 4 million followers, even people like Jones. They don’t follow at all. Jones proposed a kind of survey about Ukrain war responsability to his followers: 36% Biden, 32 NATO, and only 16% Poutine…
Listen to the left, Tulsi Gabbard or even the worst ennemies of right like Carlson: AOC, Sanders and the AVS, they categoricaly refuse official narrative, hate on Russians and calle for security négociation and immediate stop of imperial US agenda .
In Europe, and France people have a long long habit of political or War hysteria. Every body there know that it can become quickly bloody … and each time, fall back si quickly with people yesterday frantic and today. ashamed .
But each one hear know that during the madness, everything can happen. Even monstruous.civil war between Armagnac and Bourguignons, jacqueries, religion wars, Saint Barthélémy, Fronde, witch hunt, révolutions(4) , repression madness, july 1914, september 1939, 4 years nazi occupation and collaboration, liberation revenge, epuration, Indochine war, Algérie war. Each time, say what you think cost tour live for you and your family.
We can recognize all the signs of this hysteria. And sure, the current “bloc bourgeois” is blood thirsty and in the path of linch. As Victor Hugo said ” nul ne peut imaginer à quel niveau de cruelle bassesse est capable de condescendre un bourgeois qui craint pour sa pièce de 100 sous”
Tomorrow these eternal bourgeois and their eternal lumpen proletariat ( what you calle serves) will Say that they ever knew that Russians are good fellows and that racism acts were monstruous and sure only the fact of few horrible extermist( always among the serves , never among themselves) , they will be the most vicious to punish those horrible extremists. It’s sûre. Like 2+2=4.
While waiting this waking day, it’s better to let the wave go.
BUT, I do say that , in France, you have tens of millions wich don’t agree with the narrative.
And you have even much more wich even if they support Ukrain and are against Russia, consider as evil, unforgiving and unacceptable to to hate people because they are Russians.
In contrary of what is said here or there, in french DNA, racism is an horrible sin.
Other thing: in France you have millions and millions of natives. In the case of Syria, they were rabidly russophobic. Now, it’s exactly the contrary. They fell and know that Russian fight the battle on the hill against zone A for all the zone B.
You are under a terrible anglo-saxon media shelling, surrounded by the less socialy inhibited people in the world and the most used to lynch.
It’s hard but remember Zweig who suicide, desparate about “german nazi invicibility” less than few month before…
Stalingrad
Cheers
I really do not understand the argument that Western hostility to Russia is only due to neoliberalism and “woke” ideology.
This misconception is extremely dangerous and overlooks the fundamental civilisational divide between Latinate and Orthodox Christendom.
Both have fundamentally different conceptions of power.
The Frankish model of Charlemagne and his successors is based on internal federalism, or a discontinuity between secular and spiritual spheres, whereas that of Byzantium is unitary and encompasses all society.
Interestingly, the Byzantine/Russian conception of Imperium is most similar to that of the Shia Imamate in Iran, as well as historically traditionalist societies such as Hindu India, Buddhist Myanmar, and Confucian China, whereas that of the Franks (Western Europeans) is similar to that of the historical Sunni caliphates.
To this day the Zionist-ruled West is allied with the Sunni tyrannies of the Persian Gulf, while Russia is aligned with Shia Iran, Hindu India, Buddhist Myanmar, and Confucian China.
Historically the Turks have straddled both camps, but have tended to align with the Papacy (Crusaders) and Zionist financiers vs. Orthodox Byzantium and her successors.
The discontinuity between secular and spiritual spheres in the Western Roman Empire has always resulted in a confusion between the two, conflating worldly power with spiritual aims and vice versa, hence the West’s millennia-long history of aggression and criminality.
The penultimate perversions of liberalism (itself a product of the Renaissance and Reformation) are but the culmination of the Western historical experience: a logical corollary rather than a violent rupture.
Hence the West, arrogant in the supreme, has always been sadistic, fanatical, anti-intellectual, violent, and deluded, regardless of the various ideological “cloaks” it has worn and discarded.
The problem is that the East has never been able to understand the West’s biological mindset, and so has always been strictly reactive and defensive rather than proactive and offensive, at least historically.
The East is the Creator’s sacred, primordial Martyr, complete, whole, and sound in all her being.
Catholicism, Protestantism, liberalism, monopoly capitalism, fascism (including Nazism), communism, Zionism, and so on are all degenerate products of the schizophrenic Western personality, deriving their power from the very depths of the Western soul.
The East is the true Imperium-Christ versus the counterfeit “imperium”-Antichrist of the West.
Only the West truly believes that the weaker side is the aggressor: because the West projects its aggressive, genocidal being unto the Other (the East), the innocent party.
The Western attitude has always been that of a theocratic bully: because “we” are the “Chosen” of the Creator and are biologically, thus spiritually, superior, “our” mission is to forcibly subjugate and exterminate the Other.
The predatory West has always seen weakness as an opportunity to destroy the Other, rather than achieve a peaceful multiplicity of All under Heaven.
Only the West believes that a) NATO outspends Russia 15:1 and maintains conventional superiority of 4:1 (per Admiral James Stavridis), yet b) the weaker party, Russia, is the aggressor who is “forcing” the West to resort to its longstanding plan: a genocidal, climactical World War III.
