This short post is just to inform you of the latest developments in the war in the Ukraine.
Following the use of a tactical ballistic missile against Donetsk by the Ukies, Zakharchenko has declared that the ceasefire was basically over.
Strelkov has made an official appeal warning that according to this information the Ukies were massing troops in preparation for an attack. According to Strelkov, the Ukie plan is for a very short and very rapid “push” towards Donestk and the Russian border to make any Novorussian state non-viable and thus to negotiate from a position of force. True, Strelkov does have a record of exaggerating threats in order to minimize them, but this time there are some strong signs that his analysis is shared by the Russian military, and these signs are the most ominous signs of all.
Russian sources – including the excellent Colonel Cassad blog – report that the voentorg aid-spigot has been fully re-opened including for some major deliveries. While, of course, I am very happy that the Novorussian resistance is getting much needed equipment (and specialists), this kind of full reopening of the voentorg also indicates to me that the Russian intelligence services have concluded that an attack is very likely, possibly very soon.
I have been following the situation in Banderastan pretty closely and I can only say that the cracks in the regime are visible all over the place. Whether Poroshenko and his US master’s really believe that an attack can succeed (I doubt it) or whether they really want to force Russia into openly intervening (which I see as almost inevitable), the fact is that starting a major war might well be the only way to save the Poroshenko regime which currently is in free fall.
It is quite possible that Strelkov’s blunt warning and, even more so, the reopening of the voentorg will convince the Ukies that Russia is ready to intervene and that their attack will not be allowed to succeed. What concerns me is that the Poroshenko regime (and his CIA patrons) might decide that even a defeat at the hand of the Russian military is preferable to the current death spiral: not only can a war save the regime, a Russian intervention would finally make the AngloZionist dream come true. Putin will try his utmost to avoid falling into this trap, and that means that Russia will have to provide massive covert support and aid to Novorussia. As for the Novorussians, they have to be strong enough to stop the initial assault. If they succeed, then the offensive will be effectively dead. But Strelkov is right, if the Ukie break through the Novorussian lines, then Russia will have to intervene.
This is an extremely dangerous situation.
The Saker
The Ukies are relying on the USSA military officers and CIA to plan the strategy against Novorossiya.
It will fail, but nevertheless the Americans are more than happy to kill off Slavs, Ukrainians and Russians.
BTW, Saker, relax a bit when it comes to technical issues with the new Blog. This is very typical of a site that has grown as rapidly as yours. You are doing a great job, and are already making a dent in the info war against Russia and Donbass.

The shortest distance between two points is not a straight line.
We all knew this was going to happen at some time. They just gave Porky time to re-arm and and for him to go get a bit more cash from the USSA and the UE.
The fact that they gave away their advantage was the stupidest thing I have ever witnessed. Peace ! Peace means nothing to Putsch porky and his minions of fighting demon cowards.
Go Novorossiya!!!
10/22/2014 Ottawa Shooting Mini-SITREP
– At approximately 10:00 this morning, a small group (believed to be between 2-3) of men opened fire on a soldier who was on guard at the base of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier Monument at Parliament Hill in downtown Ottawa. Prime Minister Harper was safely evacuated before this took place.
– a Few minutes later, a gun battle took place inside the Centre Block of Parliament. This battle was captured on video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYrMzh1960U
– At about 11:30, authorities confirmed one gunmen shot dead inside Parliament
– As of 12:15, suspects are still believed to be at large, city is on lockdown and police/special forces are knocking on door-to-door in certain areas. Rumours and conflicting information are flying everywhere on TV and social media. Nobody knows who is responsible. Everyone is waiting for more information from authorities
I had Oct. 21st in the betting “pool”. Looks like it will happen Friday (slowest news day).
A question for the experts.
If Uki’s resume a full on attack, what will that do to gas negotiations? Does war mean those are dead in the water?
Thank god the Voertong is back open. I really thought when Milan failed it would be a matter of days before the election.
Excellent synopsis per usual.
A question. If the goal to unleash war so that Russia is obligated to rebuild a destroyed Ukraine? Banderastan and Novorossiya
Parliament is about to vote on a Canadian version of the Patriot act, giving the alphabet agencies even more secrecy and powers, and this happens.
Russia is always acting from a weaker position. At least with Syria Russia has now openly come out and said they are heavily resupplying Assad. While here they say they are not supplying anything and most everything is captured equipment.
Okay that was done so Nato could not blame Russia. But where does the point come where Nato is attacking Russia itself.
You know if someone starts poking your neighbors with a knife, and you keep acting like it don’t matter because the biker gangs will leave you alone. They then start throwing garbage in your back yard and you ignore the stench of rotting garbage. Well Soon they will be in your back yard with the BBQ.
This is why even if you wont win the fight, you have to early enough make others aware that you will not accept it no matter what the cost. And if they are willing to pay the price as well. many people think Japan started WW2. Clearly it was the US that started it. Japan should have attacked asia and taken over the colonies but they were fooled into attacked the US because it was the US that had forced the Europeans to act. Same scenario playing out here.
I’m sick with dread. but we all knew it would happen before the snow fell.
I saw a report on TASS that said Ukraine expected to cut gas usage by 1/4 this winter. How can they fight a war and heat anything at the same time.
They are going for a knockout punch. Putin has a plan thankfully.
is the wounded sub in Swedish waters the latest false flag to distract from the coming Uki offensive?
It’s the Dutchies (not the pastry)!
http://www.intellihub.com/mysterious-russian-sub-sweden-may-dutch-defense-ministry-source/
Swedish authorities reportedly searching for a Russian submarine in its waters are probably looking in the wrong direction. The sub is probably Dutch, a source in the Russian Defense Ministry told RT.
Earlier Swedish media reported that the nation’s navy is looking for a submarine in the Baltic Sea, possibly belonging to Russia.
Russian intervention is what the US wants – in this respect, Poroshenko is just doing what the US wants.
Once the Russians intervene, the US will cry “foul” – and impose the full package of sanctions & economic warfare on Russia. They will get the EU to do so as well.
The US has an “Economic warfare” dept internally – they likely know exactly what to do – have probably been planning for a long time.
Russia is certainly extremely vulnerable.
@ TheRift,
I don’t think the NAF gave away an advantage. These guys were in heavy combat for 4 straight months. Everybody was involved, and despite getting new recruits, new recruits can’t be counted on to pick up the ball and run. The NAF needed to get off the line and reorganize to make use of those recruits.
And the hits just keep on coming with this bunch.

The Ukraine Army, backed by both the U.S. and NATO throughout its military campaign against rebel factions in eastern regions of the country over recent months, appears to have fired cluster munitions on the city of Donetsk earlier this month, according to a Human Rights Watch investigation and independent reporting by theNew York Times.
Airdrop went exactly on target to who it was meant for, despite the press release.
nsnbc : A U.S. arms drop, allegedly meant for Syrian Kurds in the embattled town of Ayn Al-Arab a.k.a. Kobane, ended up in the hands of fighters of the so-called Islamic State, a.k.a. ISIS / ISIL, reported unnamed Syrian activists to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The “mistake” happened as the UK parliament discusses the expansion of the UK’s mission in Syria, including surveillance flights over Syrian territory in violation of international law.

Why would he be evacuated before anything happened?
I always expected the Kiev regime to attack again as soon as possible for them. I expect them to lose, when they do. This coming winter will be very hard for Ukrainians, particularly in those Eastern places where infrastructure and services are no more.
Putin should slow, delay, postpone, and talk as much as possible, and fight as little as absolutely necessary to maintain the status quo. Time is on Russia’s side. In a post Peak Oil world, Russia’s energy, natural, and mineral resources wil become increasingly important and strengthen Russia’s position.
I’ve been worried about this too.Allowing the Ukie’s to get stronger I consider a very bad move.Hopefully the NAF will be strong enough to stop the attack. But as importantly, roll it back and away from Donetsk. And recapture territory lost. Before a new ceasefire is forced on them.Losing Donetsk or any more territory would be disastrous for Novorossii.I don’t know the state of the junta’s forces. But what I’ve noticed is that the troops away in other areas, shown on videos and VK posts.Look younger, stronger, better trained. With an air of confidence like a real army .Instead of the older,or very young, ill trained troops we see fighting or as captives now in the region.I think they have been keeping their elite forces out of the war. While letting the canon fodder fight it.Now whether they intend to bring those elite boys into play or not is an open question. As long as they have them as a back-up.They can let the canon fodder do the dying, and killing for them. While saving the elite for a break-through,on what they hope will be a weakened NAF.What we have in the NAF is good men, with combat experience. But these elite boys will be fresh, trained better than the other Ukie’s and equipped better. As well as eager and rested.I don’t like that at all.I hope the NAF has noticed what I have. And hasn’t let hubris convince them that the Ukie doesn’t have at least one more good punch in him.The junta may want to keep those troops back for in case the NAF is able to break into Banderastan itself. But still,I could see them using them for an offensive if they thought that would turn the war.
One more point too.I know in the past I’ve read how the polls were saying moderates (whatever that means with the junta) were expected to win the RADA elections on the 26th.But now all I hear is that the fascists are going to be the big winners. So I’m not sure how that will come out.But I can’t see that as positive for any peace agreement.
Uncle Bob
I wonder if the shooting in Canada is connected to the car running over a soldier in Quebec. It was said to be a Muslim Convert that just targeted a soldier. So would this shooting be a part of some plot I’m thinking.
One can see from the maps for the last 7 weeks what the orcs are up to. IMHO they will try to cut Donetsk area from Novorossiya and then try to take Donetsk or proceed with flattening the city. I have no idea how successful they will be at the beginning but I agree that Mother will not allow Novorossiya to fall nor will she allow the citizens to suffer under the orcs as have Slavyansk, Kramatorsk and other cities, towns and villages.
The Tochka was the final nail in the cease fire coffin. Interestingly the West News say the ‘explosion’ was at an ‘armaments factory’ in central Donetsk. No mention of a ballistic missile in any news I’ve read today US time. The problem is apparently the orcs have received help from their western allies and now can use the vaunted pinpoint accuracy of the Tochka to it’s maximum. One would think that The West has managed to get the orcs some satellite guidance for the missile. Expect more of them to land at the aim point rather than scattered all over the countryside. This is NOT good news for Army Novorossiya nor the civilians up there.
I thought Zakharchenko didn’t call the ‘ceasefire’ off, it was posted on some false vk or tweeter account. Maybe I missed some DNR decision leter, but right after the supposed explosion of a Tochka-U in Donetsk there was something about Zakharchenko saying that the ceasefire was over and it was denied soon.
Those 80 Russian officers who mapped out the Ceasefire truce zones have the latest on-ground Intel.
I believe that the re-supply will be including a few thousand men in green with the exact equipment needed to stop any offensive.
What will be interesting is the Putin Putative Principle. That is the punishment Putin always inflicts on adversaries when they violate a solemn rule he is bound by honor and responsibility to enforce. agreement, contracts, rule of law, treaties and truces really matter to Putin.
There is no gas deal as yet. It won’t get done.
There is only the US standing behind the junta. The junta has its elite troops in the vicinity of this new staging for the offensive.
I believe Putin will take down those elite forces this time around. Not only will there be the destruction of the artillery and armor massed in the offensive. The Ukies will be left with only their nazis as their national army.
And Mariupol may go down if the offensive lasts a few days. Men in green uniforms might appear along the Azov coast.
Putin will punish them worse than ever. See Chechnya 2 and Georgia for prior actions.
Watch for the Ukies desperate to destroy the crash site of MH-17. Then they can refute all the photographic evidence once and for all.
The war against Russia and Putin may get hot again, but Putin will be swift and severe with his counter-attack.
OK, let’s be honest…
We – Slavic peoples…we are lazy, and do not anticipate much of anything. Dostoyevsky explained it perfectly in ‘The Gambler'(he spoke of Russians, but might as well have spoken of Serbs, Bulgarians, Macedonians or Montenegrin).
Yes, we’re quite deadly in battle, once we’re in full war mode, but are VERY naive until…
I really am interested in (whomever can) answering the question:
What on earth was the FSB doing while the CIA was planning the Ukraine coup (and all the subsequent events)?! I mean – what do they do over at the FSB – watch paint dry all day?!!
C’mon, it’s not as if they needed to invest large sums of money and travel great distances, or needed ‘assets’ that know a foreign language – IT’S bleedin’ Russian-speaking Ukraine FFS!!!
Unless this was the very plan all along, I’m VERY (*very*) disappointed in Kremlin’s strategic thinking!
In-fact I refuse to believe that any team which has Lavrov on board would not anticipate such a move by the Anglo-Zionist ‘Empire’…
I think they could/should’ve known what was going to happen years earlier. As a matter of fact – they did, as was proven by Wikileaks…
Why haven’t they made their moves before all those good people were killed?!
I only hope that they knew all about what was going to happen, and let it happen because they had a bigger picture in front of their eyes.
Because NOW – it’s a zero-sum game!
Russia (and all of us) will either win this, or we’ll die trying! Make no mistake about it – what these people want is for Russia to exist no longer! They will NEVER give up, nor will they ever play fair!
We’re talking about people that have absolutely NO PROBLEM with “ethnic cleansing”, or civilian deaths. It’s mere “collateral damage” to them!
And they would LOVE to see all freedom-loving Russians as such collateral damage.
Again, I hope (know) that heads wiser than mine are at it at the Kremlin. I just hope they didn’t believe their western partners. Because people that did at some point – ended up as collateral damage to ‘Regime change™’.
Russias military upgrade programs are half way point
The new gen** systems will hook up to upgraded
assets…think of gen 4++combat aircraft with dazzling

US Nato aircraft will die leaving the box….and in

Russias new gen systems are still some years away from

so…let US Nato have their slow game turns while tactical
data is sucked out of them….while the future military

When the stupid anglo zionist do rage at Mother

Syria is the concern…..and making sure Iran stays in BRICS
and does not betray.

Russia could….but maybe its better to make Kiev howl and teach
Zionist trash that they are….become the flaming sacrifice.

Saker, please see this link, this is dialogue between two fighting sides.
Quoted from Yurasum “I am very glad that it happened. No matter how the civil war will end in the Slavic world (lets not argue about definition, at least for now) the dialogue is started. Otherwise it is impossible to get out of a state of war. Only “dialogue” nor “extermination / expulsion of” the other side. There Is no other way. Moreover, it is clear that both sides (I want to see them considered the most irreconcilable in this conflict) to easily find a common language, and in fact they see the same way out.
……….
While it seems incredible. But a few months ago this dialogue seemed imposible.
Nothing in the world is impossible. “
Timing? They do not want Putin at the next G20 meeting in Brisbane. If anything happens it will be at a most inconvenient time for him — and if not before hand to justify a non-invite by Australia; then while he’s there so any counter action by Russia can be cause for: (a) possible response by US partners to this ‘aggression’; and (b) maximize mass media news value to hide the bad economic news otherwise being propagated. The AZ platform do not want the others (BRICS+) to use the G20 to progress alternative futures to DC’s hegemony.

The Western leaders must be clinically demented to be attacking Donetsk again. Their power hysteria has to result from accumulated toxins in the brain, from poisoning with heavy metals such as mercury, cadmium and lead. It is not unlike the dementia of the Romans in their latter days. Modern Western leaders are insanely stupid and brutal, including the US State Department, the European heads of state, the EU, NATO, and all of Pork-shank’s allies. Like Merkel saying, “Oowh deah! The problem of Ukraine sovereignty still has not been solved.” So why is it HER fracking business? And now we see Donetsk attacked, with a guided missile no less, incurring the possible end of the quasi-ceasefire, while Ukraine tank convoys roll in the direction of the city. To what end, God help us, to what end?
And where is our brave friend GB? Has he gone to Moscow to fight this battle from within? My heart is with him, wherever he is.
You know, the Strelkov Zarkharchenko feud might be just a ruse. Strelkov’s an incomparable hero, and I’ve yet to hear Zakharchenko say a single word that does not support Novorossiya’s independence. These great men do not disagree, however it appears on the surface.
Here is an hysterically funny characterization of American hubris, if it only weren’t so tragic:

Q: …to negotiate from a position of force.
R: One negotiates from a position of strength, that, oddly enough, is reached either through force or being forceful.
The KKF have admitted to have lost hundreds of men in that heated battle a while ago and I’M still convinced the NR forces should have eliminated everything between them and the glorious sun [KKF armor and men] without going after occupying much more territory.
In that sense, the ceasefire was a sign of weakness.
Some have argeud it happened at the behest of Mr. Putin, personally I’m not that sure, because it doesn’t fit within the martial art doctrine of fully neutralizing any tension.
Perhaps insiders will know everything about the exact motivation behind the ceasefire, but they don’t comment on this web site/blog.

Finally, it must be remembered, that Eastern Europe became communist because Hitler, with the approval of the West, used it as a highway to reach the Soviet Union to wipe out Bolshevism forever, and that the Russians in World War I and II, lost about 40 million people because the West had used this highway to invade Russia. It should not be surprising that after World War II the Soviet Union was determined to close down the highway.

Russia will be fine. Ukraine will implode. There is no force on earth that can invade or bombard Russia and exist twenty minutes later. The U.S. and Nato have been searching for a way since 1945.
General Atom is Russia’s shield. 2700 of them.
And in close, polite green men or Spetsnaz.
The fact is the West’s timing and effort failed. They waited too long to get Russia. They should have moved in the early 2000’s or certainly no later than 2008. But they waited to prime the death machine in Kiev.
That extra six years gave Putin and the FSB enough time to plan Crimea take back and the unfolding of Novorossiya, for all its warts. These are coup de grace events in the neck of Kiev.
We are simply waiting for the dead Ukraine body to fall to the ground.

Brazilian Presidential Election (October 26) – this weekend. How will a vital Putin ally go? Will Rousseff survive?
Ending of Federal Reserve Quantitative Easing Program (POMO) – October 27-28 (Tuesday – Wednesday)
Federal Reserve Meeting – first meeting since POMO QE3 ended October 28-29 (Tuesday-Wednesday)
Further talks between Russia-Ukraine-EU regarding Russian sale of gas to Ukraine – October 29 (Next Wednesday)
Report due to the European Commission on how much gas each European Union has to survive the coming Winter (October 31, Next Friday)
Manuel Barroso steps down to be replaced by Jean-Claude Juncker . Is Junkcer more of a Eurasianist or Atlanticist? The opposition to Juncker from the likes of the UK/ David Cameron gives hope Juncker might actually be someone Russia can work with, someone who’s not attached, for instance, to the Kiev Regime. (November 1, Next Saturday)
French Mistral ships delivery to Russia? (November 1, Next Saturday) – not sure if this is still happening, but at the time the delivery was postponed it was postponed until the first of November – anyone know what’s happening here?
Local Elections in Donetsk & Luhansk (November 2, Next Sunday) – In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if the new offensive happens after the Ukie elections and is designed to disrupt and destroy any local elections planned in Donestk & Luhansk next week.
US Mid-Terms (November 4) – Tuesday Week. Obama likely to get hammered? Can Obama grow a spine after the Mid-Terms and sack the likes of Nuland, Kerry, Brennan & Pyatt for a start? The two weeks after the Mid-Terms are Obama’s last chance to assert himself in the eyes of the world. In the eyes of Russia.
The bonds owed by Naftogaz (which weren’t paid on September 30) and were transferred to the Ukrainian State to be paid to the value of $1.67 Billion are due to be paid today or else Ukraine is officially in default. Anyone know if these bonds have been paid???? (November 4, Tuesday week)
UK by-election in the seat of Rochester with a defecting Tory MP joining UKIP. UKIP should win this election and it will be a further signal that England votes are sick of their craven policies of the likes of David Cameron, Ed Miliband & Nick Clegg. LibLabCon as they say. A win for UKIP here is a good sign for Russia (November 6, A fortnight away)
APEC Leaders Meeting – Beijing, China. Bringing together the Leaders of China, Russia & USA. (November 11-12, 2014)
G20 Leaders Meeting – Brisbane, Australia. Bringing together all the major world Leaders. (November 14-16, 2014)
PART 2
Really – Putin needs to put in some strong performances here. Russia should not intervene before the G20 Meeting, but it should put a demand forth if the Ukies do go on the attack.
That being if the Ukies don’t at once cease and desist their offensive Russia will be forced to intervene under the R2P doctrine – the Right to Protect. Perhaps set a date. I’ll nominate November 16 – smack bang in the middle of the G20 meeting.
Russia must rally like-minded countries at this point in time. China, Brazil, South Africa, Argentina, India, Indonesia, and try, try, and make some of the EU countries see sense – if the Ukies go on the offensive.
Also, if the Ukies do launch a major offensive – Russia must immediately suspend all talks about Gas to Ukraine.
You can’t negotiate in good faith with a country that wants to WARWAR rather than JAWJAW. If the offensive happens Putin needs to announce to European leaders that there is no point talking about gas to Ukraine until they cease their offensive.
Putin has several cards to play in the next 3 weeks – but – HE MUST RESPOND STRONGLY TO ANY MORE PROVOCATIONS by the crazy Ukies.
No more “my friends” “my partners” stuff. If the Ukies attack again and Putin/ Russia continue negotiations about gas to Ukraine – do you know what it looks like?
It looks like Russia/ Putin are more interested in selling gas to Ukies to keep them warm in Winter rather than supporting ethnic Russians in Ukraine to fight off these same Ukies.
There can’t be this perception taking hold.
In three week’s time at the G20 – Putin needs to firmly and forcefully put forth the Russian case for why the criminal regime in Kiev can’t be supported any longer.
Perhaps even strike a deal (as bad as this may be) – we will not stop it if you take out Assad – but we are going to have to deal with Kiev. But. I wouldn’t make that deal if I could help it, that may be useful to win over a country like Turkey though – to get the Turks onside would be the only reason to strike such a deal. And this had better be explained explicitly to Iran for instance.
I really think the next 3 weeks are key and things are coming to a boil. Also – the Swiss Gold referendum on November 30 is something Russia should be mindful of. It really should be doing everything possible to assert the importance of gold to try and make sure the pro-Gold side (anti Euro/ US Dollar side) wins this referendum.
As yet – I’m not sure what they’re doing? Russia needs to be talking about the importance of Gold in international finance vis-a-vis Russian oil & gas for instance. Are they doing this in international fora? I haven’t really noticed if they are.
Why not?????
I just was about to post the Kolomoisky video, got it from a Sleboda tweet, hoping to hear some commentary about it. Couldn’t find anything via search. It’s very short, and I’m not quite sure exactly what to make of it, other than he definitely proves human life means less than nothing to him. Appears to implicate the junta but I don’t want to jump to conclusions, I’ve only watched it once. Made sure to download it, too. I’ll repost the link in case they’re different.

And if Putin recognized Novorossiya as a country?
If Kiev attacks Novorossiya it could, as a country under atack, require military aid to Russia.

Saker is providing excellent reporting on the situation in Ukraine and it is great that people are responding with assistance for this invaluable site.
I do wonder why and how he comes to the conclusion, once again, that the Kiev regime is about to disintegrate and that Russia will intervene directly in this conflict.
The Kiev regime has the most powerful and wealthy countries in the world firmly behind it and they show no signs of allowing any change or disruption to occur and there is no real resistance to their rule.
The idea that Russia will intervene now after all that has happened without any visible sigh of their preperation to invade is wishful thinking based on nothing of substance.
I think many of us would wish to see these things happen but will again be disappointed when they fail to happen.
The dream of a radical Socalist Peoples Republic in Eastern Ukraine appears to be dead and the best they can hope for now is some form of automony.

Russia Moving Nukes Into Crimea

In nearly 500 years, russia has gone from holding back the rampaging hordes on the east to doing the same, but from the west this time.
here’s how they (Russia/china) plan to spend a quarter Trillion of those trillions they have of us securities & bonds, by appx 2020.
this is why the west is setting up traps & mayhem–to forestall or even cancel the eastward sway, which does involve the greatest proportion of land surface, nautical shorelines, & population of the planet.
note this is no ordinary rail-line.
also to note is that BRICS would actually like a good stable decade-long timeline to buildup things to where they want, WITHOUT having the dollar lose much purchase power.
after that they will not care.

china and Russia are considering building a high-speed rail line thousands of kilometres from Moscow to Beijing that would cut the journey time from six days on the celebrated Trans-Siberian to two, Chinese media reported Friday.
the project would cost more than $230 billion [about Tk 17875.60 billion] and be over 7,000 kilometres long, the Beijing Times reported — more than three times the world’s current longest high-speed line, from the Chinese capital to the southern city of Guangzhou.

If I had to guess when the Ukie offensive will begin – I’d suggest Sunday night – when polls close in the Ukie election.
A close second would be Monday night – after the full results are known. These would seem to be the most propitious moments.
I would certainly put down the next 3 weeks (October 26 – November 16) as maximum danger points.
Respectively.
October 26 – November 2 (Leading into Donestk & Luhansk Elections)
November 3-9 (US Mid-Terms)
November 10-16 (APEC & G20 Leaders Meetings).
Putin really needs to convince other Leaders to speak out at these meetings against what is happening in Ukraine – particularly if a new offensive is launched.
Haven’t the Chinese noticed what the NED/CIA/USAID has been stirring up in Hong Kong recently! Of course they have, they need to come out and comment on it STRONGLY. Alongside Putin.
maybe putin is using this time to send in infiltrators in the form of destructive gremlins from the kremlin?

‘Briefly about the important’ left side of page.
We are so grateful that Strelkov has furnished this vital information to … whom, exactly?
Was there anyone who didn’t know before there was a ceasefire that both sides would use one to rebuild their forces, maintain their materiel, and reposition themselves?
Is it a revelation to anyone that a massing of forces signals an intended advance?
The only question was timing — before or after the election? Perhaps it depended on the polls.
It is unlikely that the junta has had much success. There is no one left to be mobilized; Russia is full of draft dodgers. Several of the berserker battalions have drawn media attention and been disbanded. Ukrainian troops, retained far beyond their contracted discharge dates, are rioting in Kiev demanding to be demobbed.
They may have gained an air strike capacity again. They have six dozen MiG-29s which could have been resuscitated, but the MANPADS seemed to handle the air threat last spring.
Zak: Looks like tomorrow dawn.
Vlad: I’ll finish setting it up. Hold them until noon.
Duma ratifies recognition of republics, status of forces agreement.
Helicopter drops off little green men outside PMs offices.
They present credentials and a signed status of forces agreement.
Ground air support squadron overflies Ukrs, circles back low and takes out Tochkas, Uragons, a dozen GRAD platforms and a column of tanks.
Circles climbing, wigwags, and returns to base.
In my dreams.
Another institution thats in the pocket of the empire. They have many pinpricks to bleed someone slowly but surely. It does not reflect reality but yell enough times and people think its real. And if you are part of the system then well, the system is geared in favor of the house. The house always wins if you play in the lair.
Why Moody’s Cut Russia to Two Notches above Junk
The sanctions spiral is undermining the confidence of consumers as they struggle with surging inflation and high interest rates, “resulting from, among other things, the depreciating exchange rate.” And they sent domestic demand skidding in the second quarter.
Low oil prices, capital flight, and restricted access for Russian borrowers to international capital markets are eroding Russia’s foreign-exchange buffers and the government’s balance sheet:
It boils down to this: the sanctions are bad, but Russia has bigger problems. Other countries, such as Japan, are in much worse fiscal shape than Russia, and their economies may be in deeper trouble, and they may already be in a recession, but their institutions are more “robust,” and individuals and businesses don’t distrust their own government and institutions to such an extent that all-out capital flight ravages the economy and drains government resources. And unlike Russia, these countries have diversified economies that are not desperately dependent on just one vulnerable sector: oil and gas.

Early in June Saker wrote that he was hoping, hoping that Putin would do the right thing but that his stomach was tied in knots.
This is exactly how I have felt the last week or so as it has become clear that the militia were simply not capable of preventing the Ukes from carrying out a merciless day and night bombardment of Donetsk. In the last couple 0f days it has been apparent that the enemy is gaining strength while the resistance is losing irreplacable personel and may even be running short of ammunition. Whether the enemy intends to grind the militia down and destroy civilian morale with superior firepower or to actually try to storm the city isn’t clear. But, as things stand the “truce” is dead, the enemy is already on the offensive, the resistance is already weakening and the Russians, so far, are doing nothing about it.
By forcing Novorossiya to accept a truce at a time when Uke forces were demoralized and in in a state of disintegration,Moscow invited Kiev to do exactly what they are doing; reorganize, reinforce and prepare a new offensive.
I have tried and I am still trying to disabuse myself of the fear that a huge and infamous deal may have been concluded. What if Putin is telling the (so called) ‘West’: “OK. If you’ll forget about Crimea, pay us in full for our gas and oil and drop these crazy economic sanctions, you can have Novorossiya.”
We’ll know pretty soon whether Moscow is going to respond to the new atrocities against their fellow Russians or sell them out.
By the way, I do not buy the idea that the ‘west’ is neccessarily trying to bring about Russian intervention. The one thing that would surely, almost more than anything else, doom the puppet gov’t in Kiev, would be the return home of a defeated and humiliated army.
Good night and high hope for better news tomorrow. Tom
Dear K(22 October, 2014 19:42), “Macedonians” are certainly NOT a slavic people; they are part of the Greek nation and Macedonia is *inside* the greek borders. Those that *you* probably refer to as “Macedonians”, are of course Slavs; but they are not trully Macedonians and their country (once part of Yugoslavia) is in fact *outside* the boundaries of that historical region. This is a case of a misappropriation of a name and identity. These people identified as Bulgarians a couple of generations ago but dictator Tito succesfully created yet another artificial identity. Just like the Austrians and the Vatican moulded the a-historical West Ukrainian nationalist identity to cut those people off from Russia, except this was in the 20th century (and a much faster process) and he hijacked someone else’s name.
The Real Evil Empire is going for broke. ‘Russian subs’ in Sweden-invisible ones apparently! False-flag in Ottawa (how did he just run into the Parliament, when on a ‘watch-list’, carrying a long arm).Compradore ‘students’ refusing to compromise in Hong Kong (do they realise that their Yankee Masters are slavering to see them killed?). Really, if I was Putin, I’d given the G20 a miss. The risk that the West will try to eliminate him there is, shall we say, ‘non-trivial’.

I wonder if the shooting in Canada is connected to the car running over a soldier in Quebec. It was said to be a Muslim Convert that just targeted a soldier. So would this shooting be a part of some plot I’m thinking.
Ah, yes.
The false flag in Quebec was a dud. Harper needed something big so he upped the ante with another false flag.
You don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see the Anglo-Zionist game plan is unravelling. Harper represents the nastiest of the Talmudic nasties. His willingness to go for broke is a clear indication just how psychopathic this MFkr really is.
Please folks, let’s not pretend this is a mystery. The drop in the price of oil is not part of a long term strategy but an act of absolute desperation. The richest people in the world don’t throw away tens of billions of dollars a day without a very good reason. The leading indicators, the ones people like us never see, point to an imminent disaster and the bad guys are in a full blown panic.
@Julian: Thank you for your excellent summary.
@Mr. Vladimir Putin, if you are listening, Sir:
DON’T DO ANYTHING! Your infinite patience is about to pay off. The whole of the AZ strategy is about to implode.
We have learned to see through the lies with absolute clarity. The consciousness we have nurtured is sweeping the world.
It won’t be pretty ladies and gentlemen but you can only fool people for so long before they (we) become immune to their terrorizing lies. The tipping point is here.
Libya, Syria, Ukraine, ISIS, ebola, etc. and etc. It was all too much and no one is buying it anymore.
Note the day and prepare for a polar reversal.
All war criminals must be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, starting with the meat puppet Five Eyes politicians and moving directly to the people who pull their strings. We missed the chance in 2008 but it won’t happened again.
Visualize it. Do it now and then prepare yourself to follow through.
Hear that Stevie? We’re comin’ for ya you worthless whore.
Julian, Obama will be happy to see the Democrats hammered. That’s part of Plan Obama. He was always a Trojan Candidate (or Manchrian Horse, if you prefer) to continue GW Bush policies behind a ‘well-tanned’ (as Berlusconi said) facade. He was particularly programmed to destroy the enthusiasm of the Hope Fiends that he conned in 2008. That way the real rulers in Mordor on the Potomac, the Zionists who recruited, promoted, financed and control Obama, get to keep the pro-Israel policies and the general PNAC agenda of Full Spectrum Dominance of the USA over the whole planet, forever. Obama betrays the suckers, over and over, they abstain, the Tea Party millipedes swarm out of their nests to vote against Obama’s plot to introduce Ebola to ‘the Homeland’ and Obama gets to play lame duck, work on his golf-swing and pave the way for a Reptilian victory in 2016. If the Democrazies nominate Clinton I reckon even Beelzebub or his favourite child, John McInsane, the ‘Hanoi Nightingale’, could get up.
@ Wayoutwest with
“..The Kiev regime has the most powerful and wealthy countries in the world firmly behind it ..”
Huh?
they bought it and now they’d like their money back. None of those powerful countries is actually doing anything to help, except a lot of tough talk. He got only $52 million – mere crumbs – from his US trip. They won’t even pony up for the gas to stop everyone freezing to death.
How much preparation do the need? A very big military base is in Belgorod, just 80 kms or 2 hour’s drive from Kharkiv city, conveniently at the rear of any Ukie fores attacking Novorossiya. Rostov on Don is further, about 100 kms away. Crimea? just across the road. With nukes being moved in as we speak.
They won’t intervene openly until it is totally obvious the other side started it. Meanwhile the NAF is being bulked up, not least with refugees being trained, and the 80 advisers officially present for 2 months now taking back a lot of useful information. So it’s not like anyone is going to be totally surprised and unprepared.

Ukraine is dead broke, bankrupt. They got $17 billion from IMF, and now they may need another $19 billion next year! So, where does Kiev even have the money to spend for another big attack? All I can think of is that IMF loan meant to support the budget and banking system will now be spent on another attack by the Ukrainian military.
I should clarify, the video I just posted is four months old but it perfectly depicts the attitude of most of the people I spoke to today.
No one buys this crap anymore. Canadians are mostly shaking their heads and laughing.
One more point. I think we may see Maidan Part 3 this winter as things get ugly. And this one will be led by some seriously right wing nationalist, populist leaders. Kiev’ is a beautiful city, but I would not want to be around there this winter when the you know what hits the fan.
Apparently something big is coming in the ME: EYELESS IN KOBANE; OBAMA AGONISTES AND THE RUSH TO NIHILISM
In both Russia and Iran, steps are being taken in preparation for an anticipated blunder from Washington. We have already revealed Iran’s call-up of IRGC reserves. We have not discussed Russian preparations. Information coming to us directly from Tartous and Latakia demonstrate a slow and inexorable build-up of Russian naval power including nuclear-powered submarines capable of firing cruise missiles off the coast of Tartous. Coupled with Lavrov’s declarations that any “No-Fly Zone without approval from the U.N.S.C. would be illegal”, it appears Russia has committed to both vetoing any such Chapter 7 action with the intent to aggressively sabotage any ultra vires actions on the ground or in the air if necessary.
Iran, for its part, through its main foreign policy messenger, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, has warned Turkey openly that any establishment of a “No-Fly Zone” in Syria would trigger “decisive, harsh and immediate” reaction from Iran. What we also know is that the Iranians have made it clear that such action would mean all out war once the Syrian parliament is asked to declare exactly that by the Assad Administration. All out war with Iran means no more natural gas for Turkey. If Russia supports Iranian actions by cutting off all natural gas supplies to Turkey, it will not only be a cold winter for Anatolians, it will spell certain death for Erdoghan’s political party. In Turkey, no matter who is chief of staff, the army is only a breath away from snuffing out the life of any government.
