“I always say the truth is best even when we find it unpleasant. Any rat in a sewer can lie. It’s how rats are. It’s what makes them rats. But a human doesn’t run and hide in dark places, because he’s something more. Lying is the most personal act of cowardice there is.” ― Nancy Farmer, “The House of the Scorpion”
In January 2015 I received a book titled “Red Notice” written by Bill Browder, once a hedge fund manager running Hermitage Capital the largest foreign-owned hedge fund in Russia. In the past, my path had crossed with Browder’s on two occasions. In 2005, I was invited to his presentation, only days before he was expelled from Russia. On that occasion Browder surprised me because he was the first credible person I ever heard speaking positively about Vladimir Putin. The next time I met Browder was in 2010 during an investment conference in Monaco. This time he was very anti-Putin. When I received his book, it was recommended to me as an excellent read.
Through his book, Browder presents himself in glowing colors. By contrast, he portrays Russia as a sinister, backward tyranny and President Putin as the greediest, most ruthless tyrant since Genghis Khan. The book’s main plot shapes up as an appealing story about the struggle of good against evil, about a lone maverick (Browder himself), taking on a powerful network of dangerous criminals and corrupt government officials in selfless pursuit of justice. It would be a beautiful story – if only it were true.
I was familiar with Parts of Browder’s story, so his tale seemed fishy to me. A few days after reading it I had to re-read it from the beginning. Sure enough, I discovered quite a number of things that didn’t add up which prompted me to do some research of my own. Much about it bothered me enough that I ended up writing a whole book which I titled “The Killing of William Browder: Deconstructing Bill Browder’s Dangerous Deception.” In August of this year I finally finished it and self-published it on Amazon.com.
My book’s main object is to unmask Browder’s brazen and dangerous deception. Beyond this, I’ve also sought to put his story into proper context by including a rather detailed account of the relevant events that led to the collapse of the USSR, Russia’s subsequent transition from Communism to Capitalism and what 17 years of Vladimir Putin’s leadership have changed. I’ve also included a section discussing the person and character of Vladimir Putin (since Browder relentlessly demonizes him). The book’s last chapter discusses the history of the relations between the U.S. and Russia from the beginnings of the 19th century, including the U.S. Civil War when Russia came to Abraham Lincoln’s aid and played the key role in preserving the Union and what the future relations between the U.S. and Russia might, or should be.
As it turned out, my book was surprisingly well received by its readers and during the first few weeks it received very encouraging reader reviews (seven five-star and one four-star review). Unfortunately, by mid-September “The Killing of William Browder” came up on Browder team’s radar and my problems began. It seems that in the free world, the freedom of expression comes with some restrictions. Exposing Bill Browder is one of them.
On 13th September, University of Tulsa professor Jeremy Kuzmarov cited some of the materials from my book in his own Hffington Post article about Bill Browder, titled “Raising the Curtain on the Browder-Magnitsky Story.” I was flattered by that article, but Huffington Post scrubbed it from their website within hours. A week later, Amazon’s publishing company, CreateSpace “suppressed” my book, purging it from Amazon.com website and from its Kindle store.
CreateSpace explained that a third party claimed that my book “may contain defamatory content,” and that to resolve the issues I needed to contact Mr. Jonathan M. Winer, Mr. Browder’s legal counsel. Mr. Winer’s word was all that was necessary for Amazon to oblige and remove my book from its bookstore. My protest and subsequent communications with CreateSpace had no effect and my only venue was to “work” with Browder’s lawyers to “resolve the issues.” In other words, I was put in the situation to have Browder censor my book and decide on whether it could be published or not. At first I rejected idea and refused to contact Mr. Winer offering instead my book for free to whoever requested a copy. But subsequently I decided to write to Mr. Winer anyway to find out what, if anything went wrong. So far, I have received no response.
This is not the first time Bill Browder – and whoever is backing him – has effectively censored what the Western public may or may not know about his story. In 2016, Russian film-maker Andrei Nekrasov made the documentary film, “The Magnitsky Act – Behind the Scenes.”
Over the years, Nekrasov had built a reputation for producing documentaries that were critical of the Russian government, and with the Magnitsky affair, he initially followed Browder’s narrative of the events and even envisioned Browder as the film’s narrator. But his research into the subject turned up a number of problems with Browder’s story. Nekrasov reached out to him for an explanation, but was unable to get in touch with Browder for several months. Nekrasov finally tracked down Browder at a book signing event where he tried and failed to get clarifications from him. Ultimately however, Nekrasov managed to meet with Browder and with the cameras rolling, he began to lay out his findings. As he did so, Browder became visibly vexed until at one moment he abruptly interrupted Nekrasov with an accusation that he was spreading Russian propaganda.
When Nekrasov’s film was completed, Browder took aggressive action to block its screenings. With threats of lawsuits, he prevented an already scheduled screening to a group of Members of the European Parliament in Brussels. He did the same with another screening in Norway, and even managed to pressure the Franco-German television network “Arte” to call off the showing of Nekrasov’s film on its channel. In June 2016, Browder tried to force The Newseum in Washington DC to cancel the screening of Nekrasov’s film. Thankfully, The Newseum, whose laudable mission is to promote freedom of expression and “the five freedoms of the First Amendment to the U.S. Consitution,” refused to be cowed by Browder’s intimidation and showed the film to a Washington audience.
No, unfortunately this did not happen. Freedom of expression – which should be sacrosanct – is dangerously compromised in the west.
Open, civilized societies seek resolution of contentious issues by allowing proponents of different sides in any dispute to present their respective points of view. An informed, open debate is by far the best mechanism of conflict resolution because we can only arrive at constructive solutions to problems by taking different stakeholders’ points of view into consideration. Browder’s approach is contrary to that of civilized societies: he seeks to silence all points of view but his own. He seeks to persuade not by initiating an informed debate, but by suppressing all debate. This is not the conduct of a truth teller pursuing elevated objectives like human rights, justice, and truth. Truth does not need such forceful defense. As Oliver Wendell Holmes wrote, “Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch. Nay, you may kick it about all day, and it will be round and full at evening.” Browder is clearly anxious that his story cannot take any kicking at all. Meanwhile in the western world, we appear to be at the mercy of lawyered-up elites for what we are allowed to know and what we are not.
In the end, I have no doubt that truth will prevail and that Bill Browder will lose his battle to keep his deception going. It is because there’s something sacrosanct about truth and most people will reject a lie once they are aware of it.
Alex Krainer is a hedge fund manager based in Monaco. His book, “The Killing of William Browder” may still be available in paperback at Book Depository, Barnes&Noble (USA), Amazon.fr, Amazon.co.uk, or Amazon.de
Unfortunately, Canada’s overlords haven’t read Alex Krainer’s book:
from CBC today:
“As Canada’s Magnitsky bill nears final vote, Russia threatens retaliation
Bill passes unanimously in late Commons vote Wednesday with 277 for and 0 votes against.”
Stop buying from Amazon. Amazon will bring on an Orwellian world if it has a monopoly on the market for things to buy. Freedom speech is more important than a bit of change. Even if it cost more, buy it from another place.
AbeBooks is a good alternative.
While it’s still a much better (and often cheaper) alternative, Amazon has owned abe.com since 2008.
bloc voting, once (so we were told) the sign of a totalatarian pseudo-democracy, like Soviet Russia or Communist China, is now standard practice in the English speaking nations, like the UK, USA and Canada. Tony Blair’s ‘Common Purpose movement, where all main parties pull in the same direction, has pretty much completed its aims.
The parliaments of the West are but rubber stamp machines for the Deep State- and I guess many of you are young enough to think this was always so- but no! From the birth of modern democracy to the rise of Tony Blair, the Deep State thought it essential to ***fool*** the public with a multi-party system that ***appeared*** to give a real choice. So Republicans and Democrats, Labour and Conservatives (USA and UK) acted as opponents are largely voted likewise in parliament. Only when arch demon Tony Blair first came to real power did he rewrite the playbook of the Deep State.
Prior to Blair, the demons assumed a vote like 277 to 0 would rouse even the hardest of thinking to very reasonable suspicion. But Tony Blair taught the lesser demons otherwise. Blair brought the Orwellian police state to britain with all parties in the british parliament voting for each obscene fabian blairite new police state power- something that continues to this day as Blair’s trusted lieutenants now run the liberal, labour and conservative parties with iron hands.
Canada, Australia and New Zealand are but pathetic pale copies of Britain, and fall over themselves to appear even in line with British trends. Britain II (the USA) was designed to be altogether different- but even there the houses of congress now bloc vote on anything that really matters to the Deep State. ‘Common Purpose’ rules the West.
I saw this too, and wondered about the curious timing with the attempted murder by a terrorist of Edmonton police constable Chernyk. BTW, the Ukrainian Canadian Congress highlights the progress of the Magnitsky Act on their website, http://www.ucc.ca, and mentions that Ukraine will open a Consulate in Edmonton. Just announced Sept. 29 (attack on Const. Chernyk Sept. 30). That despicable Putin. If only his hands were clean, like the Ukrainian-Canadian lobbyists.
From my point of view, I wonder if the Trudeau government has been threatened lately. While enjoying a ten-point or more lead in the polls, suddenly polls are released saying that the Conservatives are tied with the governing Liberals. Heritage Minister Joly announces a deal with Netflix which ignores the Francophone cultural obligations. Google parent, Alphabet Inc. is near closing a deal to develop 12 acres of Toronto waterfront. Appeasing the CIA, perhaps? That’s pure conjecture on my part.
Canada is possibly the most tightly controlled slave state in the Zionazi Empire. To add further pressure, it is full of Ukronazis who fled justice after WW2 and provide a nucleus of Russophobic fanaticism. Aust-failure is quite similar.
I think that’s a huge exaggeration – there are a handful of Ukro-fascists who are very well-funded by foreign sponsors, and these small few constitute the Ukrainian Canadian lobby. Due to MSM pressure, Canadians accept (gullibly) that this handful of sponsored people represent a substantive minority in Canada. Thus, Canadians accept this instead of rejecting it as the fraud that it is. Facts on the ground prove that Zionists do not have enough control of this country, including of the government — why the “great Ukrainian-Canadian caper”, if they have so much control?
Scott has written of the (surprisingly high) level of influence of Ukrainian Americans on American foreign policy and I think also of Ukrainian Canadians.
I can’t recall all the details.
Perhaps he can provide a refresher.
Katherine
That wasn’t Scott. That was a guest writer whose name I can’t recall right now. Who works for an ad agency and is paid to push that “Canada is controlled by Ukrainians” meme. Imho.
More important, why are you pushing the ‘Canada is not controlled by Fascist Ukrainians’ meme? Do you really think that PM Hairdo and not Ukro-Zionist Foreign Minister Chrystia Freelandmann runs Canada?
The, to be precise, not pole-suckers but slit-lickers, of the Canadian Parliament, know that present and future favours are now in the goodies-basket, not of the pathetic son of Margaret Sinclair and persons unknown, but of Chrystia Nuland… pardon me, Chrystia Freeland.
And if that author (who wasn’t Scott) is going to provide a refresher, perhaps Eric Zuesse would be willing to do the same. His research indicated that the overwhelming majority of Ukrainian-Canadians aren’t fascist or Russophobic, but those few who are fascist and Russophobic are the most active lobbyists (on behalf of Ukrainian-Canadians). Also, it was revealed lately (in Globe and Mail article and by John Helmer) that famous Canadian Russophobic Ukrainian, Chrystia Freeland was considered to write an authorized biography of George Soros. Which raises the possibility that her Russophobic Ukrainian-ness may be politically expedient (as opposed to deeply heartfelt) and in service to an entirely different community than the Ukrainian Canadian one. Perhaps other politically active Russophobic Ukrainian Canadians fall in the same category??
The Killing of William Browder is available at amazon.ca I just bought it
“Killing . . .” is also available on Amazon.fr. I just bought it for €18,61.
Well, it’s not on Amazon in the US, just Browder’s book, for free.

If the arrangements with agents permits why not simply publish entire text online for donation/free. It would bypass the gate-keeps of Rome…

Anyone knows where I can get “The Magnitsky Act. Behind the Scenes …” ?
A few weeks ao I have tried to search if one can rent/download/view the movie (as long that it’s not over 10$) but I wasn’t able.
It’s been almost a year but, in case you never found a reasonably priced copy, the film can be viewed for free at https://bit.tube/play?hash=QmchMdjdJ9SgH9oUH2UBd8xdmKWDpjdN2npYM9m8neMNus&channel=6255. I just watched it for the second time in two days. It’s completely convincing — Browder flat out contradicts himself about central details on film. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that the fact that he’s getting away with this is very very demoralizing.
In the end, it was your mistake.
You assumed Amazon would eagerly sell your book for you without question, thinking Amazon was some sort of non-political organization.
removed disparaging statement … mod-hs
That’s what you get. You wanted to make money via Amazon. Didn’t work, did it?
Just ask Seymour Hersh, who isn’t always right, but is one of a few competent investigative reporters that go where not many dare. He has basically been banned from any American newspaper, and now occasionally publishes opinion pieces in the London Review of Books.
You aren’t going to make any money in the west criticizing the foreign policies of PWB. They’ve become exactly what Aldous Huxley and George Orwell presciently warned against.
Does anybody know how to get access to the movie?
This shocking tale of alleged Russian official corruption and brutality drove legislation that was a major landmark in the descent of U.S.-Russian relations under President Barack Obama to a level rivaling the worst days of the Cold War.
………….But what the film shows is how Nekrasov, as he detected loose ends to the official story, begins to unravel Browder’s fabrication which was designed to conceal his own corporate responsibility for the criminal theft of the money. As Browder’s widely accepted story collapses, Magnitsky is revealed not to be a whistleblower but a likely abettor to the fraud who died in prison not from an official assassination but from banal neglect of his medical condition.
The cinematic qualities of the film are evident. Nekrasov is highly experienced as a maker of documentaries enjoying a Europe-wide reputation. What sets this work apart from the “trade” is the honesty and the integrity of the filmmaker as he discovers midway into his project that key assumptions of his script are faulty and begins an independent investigation to get at the truth……….
The reason nekrasov has a following among European liberal snowflakes is that his documentaries have had a sarcastic jaded and negative tinge with respect to Russia (even BBC News has aired his documentaries as recently as 2016). He is rather pessimistic regarding Russia. That’s what makes this revelation that even he (Nekrasov, a darling of the debauch liberals of the west, and Putin critic) found browder to not be credible. Coming from Nekrasov, that allegation and documentary would really destroy the battering ram (and useful fraud) that browder had provided the Western establishment.
Nekrasov is now getting a painful reality check as to how sophisticated the West’s totalitarian nature is: they are not crude like the Chinese who will arrest small time nobodies for being too honest or critical, the West focusses it’s blunt oppression for high value targets; just as outlined in 1984, the higher up you are and the greater your reach, the greater the scrutiny and the more blunt the instrument used to keep you in line. One must admit that the Anglo empire and their hypocrit vassals/covert-competitors in the EU, have refined this to an art and are far more efficient at it than their poor understudies in CCP China, or the Soviet Union.
Krainer is right though, the truth is going to prevail and eventually browder will be exposed (especially when the deep state decides he’s too much of an annoying liability – as times progresses or as the deep state finds browder’s agenda and his supporters getting in the way of the state’s own agenda).
There is one thing that no one has clarified: Why was magnitsky allowed to die, why was he denied medical treatment, who was responsible for that? What are the facts around magnitsky’s death?
Hi RC – a few great point. In Nekrasov’s defence, I think I can understand him. I’m Croatian and if we started discussing Croatia, you’d find me very critical. My inclination would be to expose negative developments – not because I’m anti-Croatian but becauseI would want to draw public attention to problems that need to be addressed. To his credit, when he realized truth was different from what he initially believed, he made a turn to pursue truth when he could have made the film that would have been far better for his career.
I agree with you that Browder will probably end up thrown under the bus. That’s what I’m afraid of (and the #1 reason for my book’s title). But they will try to first make Browder a household name (crusader for human rights and justice, bla, bla..) with their Hollywood movie. Then they’ll try to make it look like Putin had him killed.
As to why Magnistky died – that’s a mystery. It was definitely a massive cock-up on the part of Russian law enforcement, but there’s also the angle that his death was VERY convenient for Browder and his goodfellas.
Magnitsky died of his alcoholism, as alcoholics do.
I think that Magnitsky was such a pain in the ass ( he made 450 complaints about the prison-conditions during 358 days in prison, most ofwhich nobody could solve without a much larger budget) that doctors and staff prefered to not hear or to look the other way when Magnitsky came into a psychosis. He got into this psychosis after a court case from where he returned very disappointed. Future looked a lot worse than he had expected.
During the psychosis his heart stopped.
It’s over a year later but, in case you never found a copy, it’s available for free online at https://bit.tube/play?hash=QmchMdjdJ9SgH9oUH2UBd8xdmKWDpjdN2npYM9m8neMNus&channel=6255

Seems to be Russian voice-over, with no subs. Any links to an EN version?
This was the same problem before.
After the Parry and Shamir articles appeared and there was a lot of interest in seeing these films.
I, too, would like to see it.
I think it was at Youtube but then it was taken down. It was taken down from wherever it had been.
So, there does not seem to be an English-language version available.
Katherine
Parry’s article mentions that he viewed the film on Vimeo, using a password provided by Piraya Film, the Norwegian production company.
This is a fairly standard way that independent producers shop their films around, looking for a distribution deal. I.e., a journalist or distributor contacts them, and they are given a Vimeo link and password for a private, limited-time viewing of the film. Journalists get this access because their writing helps to promote the film. The simplest distribution deal would then be through a subscription-based streaming platform. DVDs are more complicated and usually happen later.
However, in this case, the film is a co-production with four other companies, including ZDF and ARTE, which are large European networks, and all of whom have been threatened with litigation, presumably by Browder’s lawyers.
In effect, then, the film in its original version has been censored. It is not available, unless or until somebody pirates it. There are several scammy-looking streaming sites that claim to have it, but they want your credit card number and they might just have the same Russian-dubbed version that you can watch for free via the link posted above.
I suspect the version of the film with the Russian voice-over was not done by Piraya Film, as the production of the sound doesn’t seem very high compared to the quality of the original. This might have been done with authorization of Piraya, but if not, it means somebody has a illegitimate copy of the film to which they added the Russian voice-over. This means, they could also post the film in its original form. If they really want to increase awareness in the West of how the new Cold War is playing out, such a move could help.
Given the legal threats and the fact that few small distribution companies have the resources to fight legal battles, this might be a situation in which we are waiting for somebody to pirate the film, somebody who has access to the original, and to distribute it via a torrent.
I wonder whether Nekrasov himself knows of the level of interest (at least in some quarters) in seeing the film, and could find a way to make one available somehow. . .
Katherine
Something tells me he doesn’t want to push this too much as money for this film came from French and German sources. It is nice to see him sticking his neck out to uphold the Truth.
When I watched the US rep. who supposedly investigated this Magnitzky affair for the US gov. state under oath that he never verified any of the info that Browder gave him, I kept thinking “Is this guy serious ?” But when you realize that they never did any investigation then it all seems logical.
I see the film on YT with a Russian title. It is possible to download it from YT.
Next step is the removing of the dubbing. I have not tried this but will. Here is one suggestion
https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/306358-can-I-remove-dubbing-on-an-avi-file
In the form the file is on YT it is not possible to remove the dubbing. It’s a shame :-(
Here’s a link to an English version if you haven’t already found one: https://bit.tube/play?hash=QmchMdjdJ9SgH9oUH2UBd8xdmKWDpjdN2npYM9m8neMNus&channel=6255
If possible use other means to sell your book. Some commenters already wrote that Amazon is tied to the deep stated / powers that be. (Amazon provides the CIA with computing power. Also Jeff Bezos is the owner of the WAPO, which is the “house publisher” of so-called experts and whistleblowers of the US intelligence agencies.) You don’t want to help your opponents (William Bowder, Amazon, …) by filling up their “war chest” with revenue from your book sales.
For the German Market I would recommend to ask Westend Verlag in Frankfurt if they may be willing to cooperate.
Many thanks for your suggestions Anonymous.
Alex, you may not know of Coster-Mullin… here’s a bit about him: http://blog.nuclearsecrecy.com/tag/john-coster-mullen/
The point is that he himself wrote and published (physically published) his books about the gadgets…thus bypassing the gatekeepercapitalist class of obedient servile stooges.
This is a hint… It is interesting that Amazon will sell you his book, because if Amazon doesn’t, Coster-Mullin will… I expect that the same calculus would prevail, after all, it’s money…and that is their god…
Just sayin’ if you want the job done right, you have to do it yourself…

I have read Alex Krainer’s book. It is a devastating critique of Browder, which exposes him as the corrupt thug he is. Browder is no more interested in “democratizing” Russia than the U.S. Deep State is in protecting the integrity of the U.S. election process! That Browder was the “star witness” for the Congress before it overwhelmingly passed the latest sanctions bill against Russia shows why it is important that he be exposed.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to know something about the networks and individuals acting to prevent a rapprochement between the U.S. and Russia.
The demon known as Jeff Bezos has banned the Krainer book I believe. I downloaded it on Kindle. So I have an anchor to reality.
From time to time USA release long term incancerated persons because DNA prove inocence. There are bad things with it:
1, Criminals walking on the street
2, Full scale conspiracy by “justice” including falsification of evidence, etc. This point is lot worse that point #1.
Similar to this is created politicaly correct “history”. What is political correctnes doing is: There is a picture, but someone do not like it. So picture must be split into pieces and randomly put together and white spaces are fantasies.
While most of history is “dead” what they keep alive in EU, in USA is already dead because everybody knows the truth, is WW2. The story of fascism and nacism on wikipedia, even How Hitler rise to power, and all arround is fake, real fake. Never exist.
But, wikipedia has even real story of fascism under ECONOMICS OF FASCISM: Fascist regimes generally came into existence in times of crisis, when economic elites, landowners and business owners feared that a revolution or uprising was imminent.[9] Fascists allied themselves with the economic elites, promising to protect their social status and to suppress any potential working class revolution.[10] In exchange, the elites were asked to subordinate their interests to a broader nationalist project. Thus, fascist economic policies generally protect inequality and privilege while also featuring an important role for state intervention in the economy.
There is actualy real story of Hitler and NSDAP on wikipedia, this is proven by 13 Nuremberg trials:
During the First World War Feder developed a hostility to Germany’s wealthy bankers and in 1919 he published his Manifesto on Breaking the Shackles of Interest. According to Louis L. Snyder:
“Feder became convinced that his country’s economic ruin could be attracted to the manipulators of high finance. He favoured retaining the capitalist system, especially such productive assets as factories, mines, and machines, but he would abolish the idea of interest because it created no value.”
On 30th May 1919 Captain Karl Mayr was appointed as head of the Education and Propaganda Department in the German Army in Munich. He was given considerable funds to build up a team of agents or informants and to organize a series of educational courses to train selected officers and men in “correct” political and ideological
thinking. Mayr recruited Feder to give lectures to soldiers at Munich University. Corporal Adolf Hitler was one of those who attended his lectures.
On 7th March 1918, Anton Drexler set up a Committee of Independent Workmen. Drexler’s idea was to form an organisation that would “combat the Marxism of the free trade unions” and to agitate for a “just” peace for Germany. His long-term objective
was to create a party which would be both working class and nationalist.
After six months it only had 40 members and in January 1919 decided to
join with right-wing journalist, Karl Harrer, to form the German Workers’s Party (GPW). Other early members included Feder, Hermann Esser and Dietrich Eckart. Harrer was elected as chairman of the party.
Gottfried Feder, together with Anton Drexler, Dietrich Eckart and Karl Harrer, was involved in the founding of the Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (German Workers’ Party-DAP).[2] Adolf Hitler met him in summer 1919 while he was in an anti-Bolshevik training course at Munich university—funded by the army and organized by Major Karl Mayr—and Feder became his mentor in finance and economics. He was the inspirer of Hitler’s opposition to “Jewish finance capitalism.”[3]
Delivering political courses alongside Feder was Karl Alexander von Müller (son of Bavaria’s Culture Minister) who spotted Hitler’s oratorical ability and forwarded his name as a political instructor for the army—an important step in Hitler’s career.
In February 1920, together with Adolf Hitler and Anton Drexler, Feder drafted the so-called “25 points” which summed up the party’s views, and introduced his own anti-capitalistviews into the program. When the paper was announced on 24 February
1920, more than 2,000 people attended the rally. In an attempt to make
the party more broadly appealing to larger segments of the population,
the DAP was renamed in February 1920 to the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (National Socialist German Workers’ Party, NSDAP), more commonly known as the National Socialist Party.
Feder briefly dominated the NSDAP’s official views on financial politics, but after he became chairman of the party’s economic council in 1931, his anti-capitalist views led to a great decline in financial support from Germany’s major industrialists. Following pressure from Walther Funk, Albert Voegler, Gustav Krupp, Friedrich Flick, Fritz Thyssen, Hjalmar Schacht and Emil Kirdorf, Hitler decided to move the party away from Feder’s economic views; when Hitler became Reichskanzler in 1933, he appointed Feder as under-secretary at the ministry of economics in July. This disappointed Feder, who had hoped for a much higher position.
Feder continued to campaign for nationalization, profit-sharing, the abolition of unearned incomes and the “thraldom of interest”. Hitler refused to do this. As Alan Bullock, the author of Hitler: A Study in Tyranny (1962) has pointed out: “Hitler had never been a Socialist; he was indifferent to economic questions. What he saw, however, was that
radical economic experiments at such a time would throw the German economy into a state of confusion, and would prejudice, if not destroy, the chances of cooperation with industry and business to end the Depression and bring down the unemployment figures.”
Hitler confirmed this in a speech he made on 6th July, 1933: “The revolution is not a permanent state of affairs, and it must not be allowed to develop into such a state. The stream of revolution released must be guided into the safe channel of evolution…. We must therefore not dismiss a business man if he is a good business man, even if he is
not yet a National Socialist; and especially not if the National Socialist who is to take his place knows nothing about business. In business, ability must be the only authoritative standard…. History will not judge us according to whether we have removed and imprisoned the largest number of economists, but according to whether we have
succeeded in providing work…. The ideas of the programme do not obligeus to act like fools and upset everything, but to realize our trains of thought wisely and carefully. In the long run our political power will be all the more secure, the more we succeed in underpinning it economically.”
Feder, as one of the leaders of the left-wing of the Nazi Party, Hitler saw him as a threat to his leadership. After the Night of the Long Knives where other left-wingers such as Gregor Strasser and Ernst Röhm were murdered, Feder resigned from the government telling his friends that Hitler had betrayed the Third Reich.
However, despite its consistency with the blood and soil ideology of the National Socialists, his concept of decentralized factories was successfully opposed by both generals and Junkers.[6] Generals objected because it interfered with rearmament, and Junkers because it would prevent their exploiting their estates for the
international market.[7]
After the Night of the Long Knives in June 1934, where SA leaders like Ernst Röhm and left-leaning party officials like Gregor Strasser were liquidated, Feder began to withdraw from the government, finally becoming Professor for Settlement Policy at the Technische Hochschule Berlin in December 1936, where he stayed until his death in Murnau, Bavaria, on 24 September.

Alex has the manuscript available here. Download spread far and wide.
/cooperative-authors-the-killing-of-william-browder-deconstructing-bill-browders-dangerous-deception-alex-krainer-with-review-by-the-saker/
Sorry to hear that! This should now become the book’s marketing feature. After all, it’s not everyday one gets censored by amazon!!
Alex Krainer should look into having the book translated into other languages and sold in other markets such as Russia and China.
The US public is not ready for this book. It would turn their world upside down. I was having a coffee with an American lady the other day. She hasn’t even lived in tbe US since many years and yet she regurgitated the “Russia infiltrated facebook” narrative..These people are so far gone, there’s no turning them.
I’m afraid that in my experience too there’s a large segment of American people – particularly the well “educated” ones who are entrenched in their views and reject information that contradicts their convictions. Part of it is the “we are the good guys helping the world” illusion and part of it is that they are “the greatest country in the world.” It’s become part of their self-identity.
H O W E V E R: I find that even such persons can’t but rethink their positions when presented with convincingly packaged facts.
Example (citing from my book): “In June of 2014, a group of American researchers published an article in the American Journal of Public Health, pointing out that, “Since the end of World War II, there have been 248 armed conflicts in 153 locations around the world. The United States launched 201 overseas military operations between the end of World War II and 2001, and since then, others, including Afghanistan and Iraq.” To be sure, each of these wars was duly explained and justified to the American public and for all those Americans who believe that their government would never deceive them, each war was defensible and fought for a good reason. Nonetheless, the fact that one country has initiated more than 80% of all wars in the last seventy years does require an explanation.”
[Note the package: who done the research, where it was published, and what exactly were the conclusions… – now even the most brainwashed zealot will have something they’ll have to rethink. Be not surprised: the knee jerk reaction will be to reject the offending fact. But there’s something within human circuitry that doesn’t easily let go of the truth and the offending fact will remain like a pebble in their sandal. THey’ll have to come to terms with it and who knows, maybe even do some research of their own.] Truth is worth fighting for.
Yes, particulatly the well-educated ones are the more brainwashed ones! My theory is that they may have better jobs and a greater disposable income so they buy or subscribe to propaganda NYT/ Economist/ Spiegel/ thinking this will give them better info. In reality it is the opposite: it is the poorer ones looking for free information on the internet who stumble across the truth..
I witnessed this firsthand when was visiting a friend in a latin American country. Her work colleagues are well-educated and completely taken in by the US propaganda. But the waiter in the local coffee shop had a much better grasp of what was going on: as he took our order he asked us in a friendly way if we were “from USA” or “from Europe”. We answered that we were “from Europe” without getting into specifics. He then said, ” why do you Europeans get involved in America’s wars? Now you have a refugee crisis. Why did you participate in attacking Libya? ? You Europeans only have yourself to blame for all your refugees problems!”.
Sometimes truth comes out in the most unexpected places ! Be well, Alex. Continue fighting the good fight!
“there’s a large segment of American people – particularly the well “educated” ones who are entrenched in their views and reject information that contradicts their convictions. ”
Yes, this is a real problem. The educated are the most entrenched in their views and the least willing to question their assumptions, including about the obvious correctness of their views. this prevents them from taking a cool, unemotional look at Obama.
And also explains their fanatical loyalty to Hillary, despite teh swirl of questions around her and Bill. and also explains why so many idealist, committed, intelligent people are actually the easiest to sway and manipulate. Their emotional and intellectual triggers are worn openly.
Consider translating book into Russian and German.
Also, consider approaching a (pretty much) “real” left-wing publisher such as Verso, in London.
Katherine
“…there’s something sacrosanct about truth and most people will reject a lie once they are aware of it.”
In most countries I have been to this seems to be the case, Unfortunately not in the US or the UK in my experience. I’ve spent about 13 years in each of these countries. Especially in the US where I know educated people (from MIT, Harvard, UCLA) who just don’t want to accept reality. These are my friends and some of them are famous architects, lawyers etc. Hilary is always right, the only problem we have is not having Democrats or Obama or Michelle Obama as a president. Trump is the only problem America ever had and the list of delusions goes on and on.
In Serbia, Argentina, Japan, Italy, Australia – I find that most people can detect truth and are happy to discover it.
American Stockholm syndrome, cultish mentality is very different
I wish it was all that easy not dealing with a devilish Amazon.com as the presented resolution to a real problem.
I oft buy books from the USA direct and not from Amazon. The price is more than double and not only that but the books don’t get delivered because the local postman can’t read since reading is not a requirement for this low-level work anymore!
Amazon uses a delivery system that always delivers for more than half the price lower. This is a real problem if your reading consists of a more unconventional palate that is not available in your local bookstore. Paying 70 USD insted of 20 USD is becoming to taxing for something not delivered and only if the customs don’t add to it!!
Dear Alex,
I don’t know if you are reading the comments for this article, but if you are . . . could I suggest a way to free your information and stick it to Amazon at the same time?
First: the format used by the Amazon Kindle is the time-honored .MOBI e-book format, just with some DRM added.
Second: Kindles can read DRM-free .mobi files just as well as they can read official downloaded DRM-ed files from Amazon, as can tablets, phones & computers with Amazon’s Kindle Reader software installed .
Third: Produce a .mobi version of your book (there’s lots of software out there that will convert your WORD file into a .mobi e-book) and seed it far and wide, for download: on the bittorrent networks, for download from websites. All with the tagline “Here’s the book William Browder and Jeff Bezos don’t want you to read . . . copy it to your Kindle!”
Fourth: provide a digital wallet address, or link to a cryptocurrency crowdfunding site where people can “pay what they can” for your book in Bitcoins or Ether or Monero.
Who knows, you might even do better financially than you would have on Amazon’s Kindle store. And please be sure to put the income towards funding a new expose that sticks it to the censorship creeps even better!
Hi Dan,
Thank you for that sensible suggestion. I think I’ll work on something along those lines. Unfortunately all this comes on top of a very involved day-job plus family obligations so nothing happens overnight, but yes – great suggestions. Thank you.
Best,
A.
I just ordered the book from Book Depository.
Katherine
I would really like to see Nekrasov’s film, either with English voice-over or at least subtitles. Evidently, it has been censored from YouTube. There are copies on the Internet (search for “Закон Магнитского — За кулисами”), but they have a Russian voice-over and the original is unintelligible.
Any suggestions?
Robert Parry on the blacklisting of this film:
A Blacklisted Film and the New Cold War
Israel Shamir on the whole affair:
The Untouchable Mr. Browder?
Well, the movie is blocked on youtube… why doesn’t Sputnik, RT, Fort Russ, Yandex or even The Saker
put the movie in their web/page?
Yes, it is a shame there is no pure English version of this film. I wonder if there is a way to strip the movie file of the dubbed Russian speaker because one can hear the English in the film.
Alex, thanks SO much for making this book available to us as a PDF !
My privilege anonymous. Thank you for reading.

Elegantly written and powerful piece by Krainer. The self-styled ‘left-wing’ Pacifica Radio in the US is always featuring Browder, a man who makes me want to vomit.
Talk about alternating generations: His father was once head (and maybe even founder) of communist party USA.
Do not be fooled. The tribe were always into self-enrichment above all.
There is no inconsistency whatsoever. The grandfather’s bread was buttered by his parasitism on the body of the Russian Empire (but any host nation will do) and so is the grandson’s.
The tribe steers a steady course for Hell, for others first, but ultimately, for themselves.
Bill Browder is apparently the grandson of Earl Browder, who led the American communist party for many years.
I swear I do not look for this on purpose but I was curious about this Communist aspect you mentioned and wanted to know more. So what do I find ?
“William Felix Browder, called Bill, was born into a XXXX family in Chicago, Illinois. His paternal grandfather was Earl Browder, who had lived in the Soviet Union for several years beginning in 1927 and married a Russian woman. After his return to the United States, Earl Browder became the leader of the Communist Party USA, and ran for US president in 1936 and 1940.[5] He was recruited to spy for the Soviets in the 1940s.[6]”
This stuff is getting down right comical. Yeh right, XXXX cameo appearances in major events are just coincidences. Me bad ;-)
I watched the film. Very good work. I am convinced that Browder is a liar, the US War Machine used this as another “Russia/Putin is Evil” stick and that the whole Magnitsky theatrical act is a Global Success. The West is very good at this because they have complete control of the Media (key being News and Movies) outside of Russia. Those two German bozos called “politicians” in Brussels are a pathetic example of idiotic yes-men. What a bunch of useless puppets.
One aspect of this I don’t fully understand or should I say I don’t know is if the conditions described in the film of the cell are true. No window in the cell in winter ? Also if he was beaten by guards. No, not the way it was staged with 5-6 guards but simply IF HE WAS beaten. $230 million is no small change so attempts to get something out of him might have gone beyond the necessary limits. This part of how he was treated is a bit unclear unless he had info of high up officials in the highest circles of gov. who were entangled in this affair.
The digital trail giving away part of the game through the WayBackMachine was funny to see, as was also seeing the doctored documents by Browder.
Browder is a very Cool Liar until he realizes that the other sides knows the truth.
Browder’s lies are many and often subtle. The cell with a broken window in December apparently happenedin October and it wasn’t a deliberate act to torture the inmates, apparently the inmates themselves broke the window by accident. Another stupid lie of Browder’s is when he say sthat Pavel Karpov’s salary was USD 6,000/year. It was 6,000 per month. He garnished his story with so many similar lies, we might not yet know all of them but the ones we do are sufficient to doubt everything else he is alleging. But most damningly: he took on the fight against “corrupt Russian officials” at the time Magnitsky was alive and a free man, when he already took all his+his clients’ assets out of the country (so no loss to himself), and launched his brand new fund for which he raised over $600 million in assets under management. He dove head-first into a massive controversy that by this time had nothing to do with him, from which he sustained no damage and from which he could not gain any profit, only loss, damage, reputation loss.
Some of the best are the taped sessions where Browder is questioned by someone (I assume a lawyer). There he continually says that he basically doesn’t know anything even though (the lawyer point this out) in his book he states that he know exactly how everything happened and what was in the documents that he used and gave to others in EU and the US. The contradiction of his statements versus what he alleges to know in his book is striking.
I’ve read about half the book. Its very good and the author has a sense of humor as well.
Read your book yesterday Alex. Found it both enlightening regarding Browder and the Magninsky act and a good summary of the transition and transformation of Russia. A great service. As a reader I offer this criticism- I found it both too long and too short and while I understand the reason you begin with the blow by blow summary of Browder’s book I found this section a bit tedious to wade through with some redundant text (points repeated later). Never the less reading throught it was helpful later. Just think it might be off putting for some. If I had editorial skill I would have better suggestions perhaps. Too short because the events described are so important to understand.
I first visited Russia in 1993 and saw first hand the effects of the transition on ordinary people. Everyone was trying to raise potatoes and gather food, fish, etc to keep from starving during the coming winter. People hadn’t received salaries in 6 months. I have visited 3 times since 2000 as well as several visits to Ukraine and seen the recovery first hand, and the mess that has developed in the latter.
I was interested in the Civil War history, never having heard your rendition. After thinking about it I believe I may have read something about the Russian fleet being sequestered in the US. I felt you didn’t rebut the received interpretation except by linking it to the revisionists. Am not familiar enough with European history of that period to draw a conclusion except to rely on your contemporary accounts. Regardless, a most interesting perspective.
I will do what I can to encourage others to read it.
And a big thanks to The Saker for bringing this to my attrntion!
Thanks for your thoughtful comments Pessimist. As it happened, when I started writing my book I intended to only point out the problems with Browder’s book – to use his own tall tale to show it to be a fraud. There were too many allegations out there which I didn’t want to get into (that he works for the CIA or MI6 or whatever). But once I obtained the transcripts of his deposition in the USA vs. Prevezon case I had something real against which to check his story. I was also not aware the hidden history of the relationship between the U.S. and Russia during the 19th century. That’s a subject for a whole book but since my book was about Browder I could only treat it in the most condensed manner. The perspective that emerged for me was that both Russia and the U.S.A. face the same enemy: a structure of power controlling the international banking cartel. They were the main stakeholders of the British Empire. Unable to subjugate the United States (thanks to Alexander II’s intervention), they infiltrated it instead and coopted its establishment. Unable to infiltrate Russia they have been fighting it head-on since the Napoleonic wars in the early 1800s. That’s a lot for a book for Browder. Nonetheless: since I published the book I received most interesting feedback from a number of individuals with intimate knowledge of the Browder Hoax so I envisage a ‘new & improved’ 2nd edition to the book. Sadly I have to work on that in my spare time of which I have very close to none. Anyway, thank you for reading and for your feedback.
I had a chance to meet some sharks like Browder but of a bit smaller caliber while in Russia. That was in 2000. They were stripping the country (the few that I met) without any worries as a well packed envelop with $-s fixed most miner problems. Money transfers were used for more serious issues. But the bottom line was that they were robbing Russia.
They were not business men as that title is understood in the US, people taking risks to build something. They were like Browder , thieves. Thieves who reached stratospheric riches of the kind Khodorkovsky succeeded to amass. All the while the regular folks were getting poorer and poorer until Putin came in and stabilized the country. Few in the US will have a chance to understand this.
Thanks for paying attention to this sordid affair! Browder is getting away with his lies, not only because of russophobia, I suppose. But for how long… Truth must prevail. I managed to see Nekrasov´s revealing documentary at a film festival in South Sweden. Anyone can see what a fake BB is. But the US Congress finds him useful…
Yes Alex, Thank You for keeping this story at the Front.
The Internationalist have been playing the game called “Nation Leaching” for centuries. Their people are given access to money, media etc. to attack the host at all levels of society. They insert themselves into key positions of every institution that a given country has. This way they either keeping an eye on what is going on there or outright control what it does. They have perfected this game.
In the case of Russia they nearly succeed at the beginning of the XX century but Stalin messed up their plans. The times of Cold War were a time where Russia was relatively free from being dismembered by this Cabal and this allowed the Russian people to develop their potential. Once again, few in the West will understand this. The next critical time was the Fall of the Soviet Union and the appearance of Putin. I see this as a miracle for Russia. Again, few in the West will get it. But those who don’t get it with Russia sure as Hell better get it with US, as they are being dragged to the poor house by these people. Browder is one of them.
If a book or a movie of such content appeared in the so called West, with the aim to expose misdeeds of a opponent country – They would know very well how to get maximum from them to promote their unipolar agenda.
The west knew how to exploit the books written by Milovan Djilas, Alexander Solzhenitsyn…to inflict pain and damage to those countries.
The Russian government, the Russian diaspora, the supporters of sovereignty of nations, the supporters of the free world and multipolar world have in this book and movie material and don’t know how to exploit it.
Since I am too a Croat
Pozdrav od srca Alexu Kraineru.
Hvala Care!! =)
Alexander Solzhenitsyn became persona non grata after the Soviet fall. Just try to find “Two Hundred Years Together” in english — in anything but partial pdf translations. I bought both volumes in french just to flip off the AngloZionists.
It is an invaluable lesson for a Westerner to learn this lesson, “The Language Barrier”. There are many books which should be of great public interest but do not find there way there. This is because the publishers will either not publish the translation or will not try to get a translation so as to be able to publish.
Another such book is this one,

Tax-Cheating Jewish Oligarch Keeps Lying About His Dead Auditor to Make Everyone Hate Russia
“The investor has succeeded in feeding this narrative to the Western governments and the mainstream media alike, prompting the US to adopt the Magnitsky Act in 2012, which allowed the US to sanction numerous Russian officials and businessmen over alleged human rights violations. Some American allies, including Canada and the UK, later followed suit and passed similar motions, which either allowed the sanctioning of Russian officials or called on their governments to do it.
Yet, the businessman, who has over the years donned the mantle of a human rights campaigner, does not plan to stop at that and is now lobbying for an EU-wide equivalent of the Magnitsky Act, which would allow the banning of Russian officials from the bloc’s countries and the freezing of their accounts.”
See, also, censored film: “The Magnitsky Act”, by Andrei Nekrasov: http://www.magnitskyact.com/
And censored book: “Grand Deception: The Browder Hoax”, by Alex Krainer: https://thirdalliance.ch/product/grand-deception-the-browder-hoax/
Excerpt:
“A major war would help the [U.S.] government paper over all these problems while preserving the established order of society. Your pension is gone? We’re at war, we must share sacrifices. Your health care is unaffordable? Blame the Russians. There are no jobs? No worries, the military has plenty of opportunities if you aspire to become cannon fodder somewhere overseas. War would be the perfect smokescreen for the ruling establishment to usurp the mantle of patriotism, take the whole nation hostage, silence dissent, oppress all genuine political opposition and even do away with the Bill of Rights. It is therefore understandable why they have so much invested in fixating Russia as America’s greatest enemy in the people’s collective consciousness. If one day a nuclear bomb exploded over one of the U.S. cities, a frightened and misinformed population might be easily convinced that it was a Russian attack and rallied to support a major military escalation. This is why President Eisenhower underscored the importance of an alert and knowledgeable citizenry in preserving security and liberty.”
From Neon Revolt, “Revolution Q: The Story of QAnon and the 2nd American Revolution”, pp. 211-212, re. Q drop 1345:
“See, the original plan had been to fund, supply, and build the nukes in Iran, launch them on American soil, and then turn around and blame Russia for the “unprovoked” attack. The uranium, due to its half-life, could be tracked via satellite, and our intelligenvce agencies such as the CIA would “confirm” that yes, it had been in Russia. Hillary, in the face of such an unprovoked attack, would be able to launch a counterattack that would usher in World War lll, and the utter nuclear destruction of, really, the last two remaining world powers that had enough resources at their disposal to counteract the effects of the Cabal, globally–if only they were made aware of their predicament.
Oh, you didn’t think the ‘Trump-Russia’ collusion narrative was crafted on a whim now, did you? If the whole narrative was fake–as I’ve [sic] believed I reasonably demonstrated in Chapter Two–why not say…’Trump-China’ collusion? They’re still literal Communists, after all. Or ‘Trump-Brazilian’ collusion? Or ‘Trump-Azerbaijani’ collusion? While we’re at it, heck, why not ‘Trump-Micronesian’ collusion?
I think you get my point.
The entire reason the Cabal ran with the Russian collusion narrative was to keep Trump and Putin apart, and thus, prevent any semblance of an alliance from forming between them, and against the Cabal. The absolute nightmare scenario for the Cabal would be not only the leaders of these nations awakening to the threat embodied by the Cabal, but the entire civilian population of those nations awakening to that same threat.”

Anyone looking to really understand the back story of Russiagate need look no further than the workings of American-born British attorney and financier Bill Browder.
Browder was also the bagman which funded the many illicit activities that have come to define Spygate.
In other words, Bill Browder is the man. Study his actions, analyze his transactions, comprehend his true motivations and you will understand the entire false narrative known as the bogus “Russian collusion” story—Russiagate.

Tax-Cheating Jewish Oligarch Keeps Lying About His Dead Auditor to Make Everyone Hate Russia
Browder, who was himself sentenced in absentia by a Russian court to nine years in prison for tax evasion, and was later found guilty of embezzlement as well, presented Magnitsky as a fearless whistleblower who exposed a grand corruption scheme within the Russian law enforcement system, and who was then mercilessly killed out of revenge.
The investor has succeeded in feeding this narrative to the Western governments and the mainstream media alike, prompting the US to adopt the Magnitsky Act in 2012, which allowed the US to sanction numerous Russian officials and businessmen over alleged human rights violations. Some American allies, including Canada and the UK, later followed suit and passed similar motions, which either allowed the sanctioning of Russian officials or called on their governments to do it.
Yet, the businessman, who has over the years donned the mantle of a human rights campaigner, does not plan to stop at that and is now lobbying for an EU-wide equivalent of the Magnitsky Act, which would allow the banning of Russian officials from the bloc’s countries and the freezing of their accounts.
On the tenth anniversary of the auditor’s death, the German weekly Der Spiegel has decided to take a closer look at Browder’s story about Magnitsky. And the paper found out that the narrative doesn’t quite flow as smoothly as Western politicians and the MSM would like it to.
Here’s Browder piggybacking on a U.S. congressman:

After Nunes’ $9.9M lawsuit against Fusion GPS, businessman says oppo firm also smeared him
By Gregg Re, Catherine Herridge | Fox News
Following California GOP Rep. Devin Nunes’ $9.9M lawsuit against Fusion GPS over alleged “smear” tactics, businessman and Magnitsky Act advocate Bill Browder told Fox News that the opposition research firm behind the anti-Trump Steele dossier also targeted him with an organized misinformation campaign.
Browder is the CEO and co-founder of Hermitage Capital, which was once the largest foreign portfolio investor in Russia. He told Fox News that Fusion GPS and founder Glenn Simpson were working with Russians who wanted the Magnitsky Act repealed — and that they “played dirty.”
