The new Russian «Falcatus» armored car spotted during an operation  in Dagestan.  The new armored futuristic-looking personnel carrier designed for the country’s special forces.

The  «Falcatus» can carry 10 people into combat in various seating positions. Armored vehicle  based on double-axle chassis  KAMAZ-4911 with bulletproof windows.

Spetznaz anti-terrorist operation in Leninkent Dagestan Russia on April 13-14th 2016

During the active counter-terrorist operation in Dagestan, information was obtained about armed individuals suspected of terrorist activities and other crimes who were staying in one of the houses, located in a village of Leninkent of the Kirovsky district of Makhachkala.

Special forces of the FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs blocked the house with a group of armed militants inside. The adjacent area was cordoned off. Residents of neighboring homes were evacuated.

After legitimate demands of law enforcement to lay down their arms and surrender bandits opened fire from automatic weapons. The special forces started power suppression of an illegal armed gang. neutralized three bandits, including a gang leader Kamil Magomedov, born in 1986. It has been established that this particular group carried on numerous attacks on the lives of law enforcement officers and assaults on the civilian population., including the attack on the convoy with servicemen of the MIA in March of this year. During this operation there were no victims among the civilian population and law enformacemnt.
