Comment: I have no idea of what is really going on in Tripoli or the rest of Libya. The only thing which is clear is that NATO and its local puppets are lying through their teeth about the reality of the situation. It might well be that tomorrow I will wake up to hear about the complete triumph of the anti-Gaddafi forces. But if what Saif al-Islam says is true, and the insurgents were in reality lured into the city only to be better trapped and attacked?
The alleged “triumph” of the rebels out of nowhere did seem a little contrived. Hard to tell what is going on over there. The pro-Qaddafi populace is heavily armed and it is difficult to see the rebels making much progress in Tripoli even in the absence of the Libyan army, who may very well have withdrawn to lure them into a trap.
You are right that we will just have to wait and see. It was disheartening to think the pro-imperialist forces could have won this easily. Hopefully it is just more hot air.

With massive NATO supervision, AirForce and strategy. It still has taken them very long to achieve this. Now I think this is the easy part similar to Iraq. The Libyan army has been trained by Yugoslavia/Serbia in guerilla an street fighting tactics. So maybe Saker know more on how the Serbian forces would operate.
