Dear friends, I just want to give you a brief update on the Saker’s book sales.

As you know, it had launched on November 17th and to our pleasant surprise that book had immediately became a bestseller in the Politics & Government > Specific Topics > Globalization books section on Amazon.

Our publisher, Fred Zimmerman, even said that amongst all his titles, it was the best book launching, for the notable exception of his Harry Potter books.

The harsh reality is that for a book to become a bestseller in the “Globalization” section, said book has to sale just over 10+ copies. While the ebook format has been selling briskly, the sales have dropped dramatically this week. The Essential Saker has moved from the 1st place for Kindle edition
and 2nd place for the hardcover,

to respectively 37th for the Kindle edition, and 68th for hardcover.

Don’t be discouraged by the Amazon “Out of Stoke” notice. Amazon prints and distributes books as they are being ordered. Amazon has a secret algorithm, if there are enough hard cover copies are ordered, Amazon places a large order and moves the title up on its food chain by giving it better advertisement and placements.

The Essential Saker: from the trenches of the emerging multipolar world

Consider that the Christmas is coming, and Amazon will gift wrap and ship the book to your gift recipient. If you buy 2 and more books, the shipping is free. The Essential Saker book is a great gift for everyone on your list, like your college professors, your old high school teachers, your favorite student, your rich Connecticut in-laws, or for yourself.

The Saker allocates most of the proceeds from the book sales to the support of the blog, and buying his book, you are essentially contributing to his efforts to support the Saker’s community.

If you don’t want to buy from Amazon, your are welcome to buy books directly from our publisher, the Nimble Books

Please, remember that by buying the Saker’s book, you get a tremendous amount of historical and cultural information that you can’t get anywhere else in the Western world, and you get to support the community of people you feel proud to be a part of.

Considering how important it is to get the Essential Saker book into as many hands as possible, please consider this to be also a call for networking help. If you have a strong personal connection, please help us to connect with prominent journalists and opinion leaders.

Yet, another reminder to the Saker’s readers, and those who have already purchased the book, please take some time to write a Customer Review for Amazon. So far, there is only one 5 stars customer review with no actual review written. Forgive me for being blunt, but it’s simply embarrassing. You are people of great eloquence, knowledge and integrity; use your talents for the greater good!

Warm Regards,

Scott, the Director of Research and Development
